Its like camping at Disneyland. Crowded, noisy, and its going to cost you $$$!Its a rv park built around entertaining younger kids. They do a good job of providing a lot of things to keep kids entertained. However, half of the things are free and the rest come at a cost. Also even if you reserve a spot, they can move you unless you pay extra to keep your spot!?Place is noisy and loud until 12am so bring ear plugs.
I took my family here for the first time in April 2022. We stayed in the Cindy Bear cabin for 3 nights. My family fit very well. We enjoyed the playground, jumping pillow, lazer tag, and the pools/water park. My kids had fun and that was the main goal. Fire pits were great to have at the cabin. I definitely wouldn’t call this camping. It’s more glamping/ resort style. So here is my negatives. We paid $270 a night plus taxes & fees. Linen was not included which I find completely unfair to charge more money for that. Our queen bed was horrible. Literally sunk like a bean bag even when my kid laid down on the bed. I expect it to not be that great of a bed wherever I stay but this bed was horrendous. I call to add on linen for the queen bed before our trip. I was told SOLD OUT!!! Like how do you not have enough for all the cabins. We wanted a golf cart SOLD OUT. At our location for the Cindy bear cabin there was barely any parking. You cannot fit 2 vehicles without blocking some of your neighbors space which I did not want to do that as I try to respect others space they paid for. Overflow parking was wayyyy up at the top of the park like near entrance. If your looking for a peaceful stay on a weekend it won’t be lol. It was soooo crowded and just packed full of people. The pools on Saturday were so full of people you couldn’t even swim much. Had to just wait till it died off later in the day. We had Friends who were there in a trailer and all our kids had great time. My husband and I did enjoy it for the most part but definitely just didn’t feel we got our moneys worth for certain things. We actually considered going back again until I saw prices. No joke and you can go on their website yourself for proof but the cabins are ranging from $400 to $800 per night!!!!! Like this place is Disneyland or something. I seriously laughed. Extremely unfortunate to see that and let’s face it your $800 per night stay won’t include a bed sheet😅
Its nice for under 10year olds, maybe. Very simple uou are better off at the Great Wolf. Have to rent a golf cart or your screwed walking yo anything all we could find was the water park which is tiny. Waste of money. Campsite are so close together where they put the rings do not make sense I was on the side yard of a a cabin felt awkward did not light a 🔥 😳. The other man by me even asked how long we would be staying he was nice but also seemed annoyed of the proximity of us all. Did not find anything but the Waterpark did not put my tent up was no room for a tent and my truck not on #188 anyways.Sitting here at 5:20am waiting for light so I can get the hell out. Boring I asked people in golf carts where were was the beach area noone knew I used the map but could not locate. Be very careful kids are going fast on their scooter, bikes and hover thingies. Very unruly.
Open in AppLin B.’s Reviews2.0 star ratingThe good: the staff were friendly and check in was easy, the cabin was cute and the site location was good. The bad: the rules they post are not followed (kids riding around after dark, people walking around with beer, the smell of pot was in the air, and motorized mini-bike riding around); no curtains on the bedroom window; TV didnt work well - couldnt change the channel; bed was lumpy, noisy and plain uncomfortable; the wifi didnt work at all; no cooktop but did have a microwave; rattly and clunky ac/heater; fire ring was very shallow; and to top it off some farktard stole our firewood!!For the amount of money we spent, it wouldve been better to go somewhere else.
A hidden gem in Lodi, CA! I used to watch this cartoon when I was a kid, and now as a mom, I get to share this awesome experience with my children and family in a great camp/family atmosphere. Theres a pool, playground, convenience store - thats not s expensive as one would think; most convenient stores are incredibly inconvenient - full access RV hookups - they dont require specific years or models to be able to camp here, any and all types of campers/rbs/ mobile homes/ etc. are welcome here - free wifi and bathroom/shower stallsare here as well, plus more! The staff here are also friendly and helpful and Yogi Bear even came out to shoot some hoops and play with the kids. Im definitely going to be making this a family tradition atleast once , maybe even twice a year for the summer from now on
DO NOT waste your money here the staff is rude we tried to cancel a week before our stay due to mech. Problems with our rig they took every penny of our money hiding behind there policy other parks were more then understanding. Just goes to show you how desperate they are for income. I would suggest using other parks in the area they are nothing special and way overpriced. Its a hard learned lesson .
My family and I have been going here yearly for over a decade, back when this was a KOA location. Lat year I was hardly permitted on the premises after my daughter and grandchildren showed up to check in before me. Afterwards, we were harassed by rangers and questioned about parked vehicles. Awful experience 😢. We really felt singled out.
My wife and I are traveling back to to WA from San Diego. After a closure on 58W & I5, our entire itinerary went out the window. We had plans at a different RV park, but they fell through. After visiting 4 other locations with no luck, Yogi Bears was our saving grace. Not only were the staff extremely helpful and polite, but they got us into a stress-free site. We will be checking tomorrow about extending our stay, strictly due to our satisfaction. This will 100% become a future vacation spot, not just a stop over. I cannot express my gratitude enough! Clean, organized and family friendly make this location a must stop for anyone!
Pros: Fun, local campground, fairly clean, and a lot of activities. Cons: some camping areas feel very crowded, especially if you’re near groups with multiple vehicles, there are clearly some people living in the campground (not sure if they’re employees or not) but you better hope your spot isn’t next to one because they are disgusting, cluttered, and not taken care of trailers/campsites, people speed through the campground non stop and not once did I see an employee enforce a slower speed which is extremely dangerous and concerning considering the amount of kids out and about playing. Another big con is price, oh my goodness, price. Overall I was definitely expecting more for the price. The website makes this campground look super nice, and like there is so much to do.. don’t get me wrong as stated before it is fairly clean, but nothing is “fancy” by any means. Bathrooms are run down looking, grass in between sites is dead. There were things advertised in the welcome pamphlet that are no longer available. Pretty much every single activity offered has an ADDITIONAL cost… even candy bar bingo… you have to bring your own candy bar to participate… this is crazy… the water areas are nice, and decent size for little kids, but again I’m not sure why the hefty price considering its not really anything more than just a child friendly water play area.
We booked for 8 nights. A big thanks to Matt who helped us through the booking process on the phone and directed us to a great site. We had a wonderful time. Staff were very helpful when we sheared a bolt off the trailer hitch entering the campground but the they loaned us the tools we needed to replace the bolt before we left. Staff worked very hard to keep the bathrooms/shower buildings in tip top shape even though someone vandelized the building while we were there. We especially appreciated the super clean up job on a long term camping site which was in a very messy state due to the inability of the occupant to manage his site. We would be very happy to stay again in the future.
Excellent water park facilities and our grand kids had an absolute ball! Clean and well maintained. Many large pull thru sites. Polite and friendly staff. If you are looking for peace and quiet this is not for you. The kids play hard well after dark and quiet time does not start until 11:00. If you have kids or grands this is the ticket! FWIW, Book early...
Amazing place for kids. The water park has something to offer for every age group and although the campground seemed very full the water park never felt totally overloaded. The waterpark was super clean and the young employees were super friendly. The RV spot we had was supposed to fit at 30‘ RV - our 26‘ barely fit in to the spot😬 We did enjoy our close proximity to the water park/ playground though.Only reason for the 4* instead of 5* - the garbage is a problem. It was very windy during our stay but no one seem to bother to pick up the wind blown trash. The dog park garbage can - did not get emptied once during our 3 day stay and it was overflowing. 😬Overall it’s definitely a great place to go to - we would return.
Not to far from the bay area, and lots of activities for the family. This place is a hidden gem and I am shocked not many of my friends and coworkers know about the place. If you have a family and love activities, this is the place. If youre single/ with a young group and love actual camping, backpacking, and hiking, this place is probably not for you.
This place could be something great but very disappointed. rented a cabin for over $500 a night, cabin cute but FILTH EVERYWHERE..Go to turn on shower and knob falls off while water backs up with debris and hair, filthy dusty box fan sitting on floor with one side of the fan cover ready to fall off, A/C units consist of old window unit in front room (barely working) and a bedroom unit which is portable A/C with tube hooked up to blow in/out of the bedroom window. Not sure how that process was working especially since bedroom window has to stay open for the tube? Probably explains why bedroom curtains falling down. Kids didn’t sleep in extra bedroom because too many cobwebs. Most pools ok but one was so dirty we couldn’t even see the bottom with clumps of hair floating in it!! Would NOT go back!!!
First time staying at this park and it won’t be our last. We have a 28’ trailer and it was easy to maneuver and park within the park. Our site was 317 and there wasn’t anything to block the wind for a campfire or sitting outside but we managed by turning over the table and putting a beach towel on it to block. We didn’t rent a golf cart since we were close to the playground and the water park but if you’re a bit farther out with a lot of stuff I can see how it can be beneficial. There were plenty of activities all day so no one could ever be bored.I can’t say enough about the staff. For a bunch of young high school/college kids they were SO wonderful. You can tell that they like their job and each other and it’s not just a ‘summer job’. Everyone was so friendly and went out of their way to make our day better. I only wish that they wore name tags so that I could call them out individually.
We had an AWESOME time and the kids loved it. There was plenty to do for any and everyone. My clients 11 year old daughter wanted to go to Hawaii, have a Slumber Party, a camping Birthday Party. So that’s what we did. What better place to go than Yogi Bear Yellowstone Park!!! Great Guest Support and a whole lot of FUN. The facility was clean. Keysa Event Planning and More… Designing Beautifully Planned Memories!
Stayed there 6/20/20 - 6/20/23Pros: Clean. Staff Friendly. Kids had fun. Mini Golf.Cons: 1. Many vehicles parked on pathways blocking access to and from campsite; fire and rescue vehicles would be blocked from access. 2. Campsites near the water features not designed for modern RV units with pop-outs; a camper next to us could not get their unit into the campsite due to the trees. 3. Levee repairs: pathway signs for entry and exit useless as some ramps were closed due to repair activities. 4. Only a general store; the restaurant / bar is no longer there - very disappointing. 5. Golf carts: cabin renters park them on the roadway blocking vehicle access. Overall, park management needs to do something about excess vehicle parking. 6. Value: priced high for overall tightly packed sites, so value is average at best.
Extremely fun for the kids and not stressful. The environment felt safe and had a good amount of camping aspects without the real rugged camping experience. The cabins are basic with bare minimum features, but they do keep you warm at night! Cabin location is key if you have little ones and want the convenience of having the play areas in your own front/back yard so I recommend booking way in advance. Same with campsites. Laser tag isnt available every night as there are some nights dedicated for movie nights and youd have to sign up in advance for everything like golf cart rentals. Overall I highly recommend family vacationing here.
Super fun for the whole family! First time here, but we will be back! Lots to do! After reading some of the negative reviews, you should know, this isnt really a camp ground dont go here if you are expecting quite nature. This is a kid filled fun time from sun up until well past dark. Our kids loved it. Riding bikes chasing bears, water park, numerous activities throughout the day. Yes, it was load, crazy, people everywhere! But thats what made it so fun. Kids could be kids here. Adults can be kids too 😀
Its a great place for the kids, camp sites are close together in some areas so just know before you book. They have golf kart rentals but not to much supervision as it says no kids allowed to drive the golf karts. The 2 camp spots next to me had about 15 kids 8 tents and one camper. They were running around all day, playing music and singing loud until midnight with no supervision from parent or park employees. The park rules clearly state no motorized bikes, kart or scooters and there were a hundred kids on scooters all over the park and my grandson didnt have his because of the rules I read, I didnt bring it. Not sure if I wanna go back !!
Helpful courteous staff. Nice to have a getaway place close to home. So many different activities. Nice pool area. The splash area and lazy river were closed but open up next week. Sad that we did not experience them. Lots of spaces with trees so most of the spaces have shade. Very family orientated! Already making future plans to come back!
Glamping at its finest! We had one of the cabins right next to the water park and had an amazingly fun weekend staying here! Comfy and cozy cabins furnished with a shower, bathroom and A/C?! Camping doesnt get any more glamourous than this!Great place to take family and friends for a nice weekend out of the city-life!
This is a great place to bring the kids...OF ALL AGES...for water fun, playground, fun kids activities including arts/crafts, scavenger hunting, movie nights. The cabins are spacious. All spaces, including tent spots, come with a fire pit, charcoal grill, and picnic table. Mini golf, jumping pillow and playground are all in good shape. In the heat of summer, this place is the COOLEST!
Waited in line for over an hour for the lazy river only for planned maintenance to shut it down directly in front of us without notice. This is done daily at 130. No information about what is included in this pricey stay so similarily we were denied the opportunity to play laser tag or anything as these are considered extras. A lot would have been avoided with some signage or more information on check in. I wanted to desperately like this place as we are locals and avid campers with young children. I would recommend avoiding this place unless you love tremendous crowds and absolutely no customer service.
Every summer for the 3rd year now, we rent a cabin before school starts. Usually Thursdays-Monday. Love that it’s only an hour away from the Bay Area. We’ve rented different kinds of the cabins they offer. One was really old and could use some upgrading but still functional and spacious enough for our family plus the dog. One was brand new when we rented it so the “wood” smell was soo strong. Last week we rented the Delta Deluxe (without the hot tub 😔) and even though it’s bit pricier, I appreciated more space and having a full kitchen. I wish they swept the floor prior to our arrival. It was a bit dusty and dirty. There was no broom so I couldnt do it myself. The staff and the guests are generally pretty friendly and respectful. We have never had a problem with anything. My kid enjoys the water features and some of the activities. Wish they clean up the Sandy Beach, put some benches and maybe some shade. It looks sad last time we passed by. Food from the Waterfront Grille was pretty good. The Ranger Station’s got most of the stuff if ever you forgot anything. People follow the lights out at 11pm. We have learned to bring our own pillows and linens as the ones they have for rent aren’t as fluffy. Checkin after 7pm was not an issue. Checkout was easy. Just need to drop off your cabin keys on your way out. Aside from minor issues, we’re pretty happy during our stay. We’ll probably be back again next year over the summer before school starts.
Best trip ever for the kids!! Dont even read the bad reviews! The kids had the funnest time ever! We did tent camping the site fit 2 tents and 2 trucks and we had room for our chairs around the fire with a picnic table all under shade. Site 368.There was a lazy river and water slides along with big trampoline for kids to jump and play. The womens shower was cold was my only complaint but at the end got kind of warm. So many activities for the kids they had a color run.. and gem finding. Worth it!!
Arrived late Friday afternoon. Reserved a premium RV spot that had a concrete pad. Was out in the dusty dirty dirt spot next to a homeless encampment in the park. Minimum 8person rule not followed. Campsites littered with junk and broken glass. Other neighbors blaring stereos at 9 am. Host on same row doesn’t seem to care. Both food facilities don’t have the capacity to handle peak hours so you have to stand in the blaring sun waiting 30 - 45 minutes. Supposedly due to COVID they close the pools and water park for cleaning and employee breaks making you pack up everything you have to get in line for 30 minutes in the sun to re-enter. No shade to stand in while 100 degrees. Adults running everywhere bumping into people. Equipment in water park broken.
We booked this location for a weeks stay (Aug 18-25) due to the water park and amenities for our three grandchildren. Imagine our surprise while checking in when the staff told us most of the water park was closed due to it no longer being peak season. When I inquired about peak season being Memorial Day through Labor Day I was told their peak season ended on August 16th! This was not transparent while making reservations for our four campsites. We spent over $3,000 and believe we were deliberately misled. The pools were not heated, however, they were open all day from 11-7pm. The water park was open only on Thursday and Friday from 4-7pm and on Saturday from 11-7pm. The pools and water park were so crowded on Saturday that we could not even get in! Even the lazy river was closed except for Saturday which does not require any more attention than the swimming pools. Several of the water cannons/sprayers were inoperative and one of the two water slides was not functional.Several other campers we spoke with were extremely upset over the misleading way this park duped us into booking a reservation thinking we could enjoy the park all week. I relayed my concerns to one of the managers named April who said the “off peak season” hours were listed down in one of the activity pages and not readily apparent on the reservation page. She empathized with me but stated their rates were their rates and there was nothing at all she could do to compensate us for their short comings. When they had scheduled events such as arts and crafts or pictures with the bears, there were no staff members present to facilitate the events. During the photos, it was a free for all and only open for 15 minutes! The two kid staff members just stood by and did not organize any line or facilitate any order for the picture taking process. The last straw to all of this was Sunday nights outdoor movie. We figured there was no way to botch this right? Guess again, the sound played but no picture was showing. Staff members again said there was nothing they could do. Kids left disappointed once again. We ended up leaving two days early as Mondays events were just the outdoor movie that did not work the night before. Nothing else was open or scheduled for the entire day!If you plan on staying here beware of the misleading way the reservations are handled. You most likely would be better off spending your money at the new Great Wolf Lodge in nearby Manteca. Although we have not been here yet, the costs seem comparable and the amenities will be open and functional for you to enjoy. That’s what you expect when you book right? Finally, be prepared to read the canned email response I will most likely receive from the Yogi Bear management stating something similar to, “We appreciate you bringing these concerns to our attention so that we can make your future stay more enjoyable.”Needless to say, I will not disappoint my family again by booking here in the future. As expected, here is their response:Response from the owner 5 hours agoWere sorry that your stay did not meet your expectations. It is stated on our website on our home page, our attractions page and Guest Dashboard that our attractions hours of operation may be modified or limited during the off-peak season and the dates of our off-peak season are on our website as well. When you read their disclaimer on their activities it states this verbatim:“All activities are subject to change at any time. Weekends are considered Friday and Saturday. On-site amenities may not be purchased with a Jellystone Park gift card.”Again, this park is disingenuous and misleads unsuspecting people. There is no mention of hours being modified or limited during the off peak season on their amenities page as they claim. Their off-peak season and those dates are not listed either. Was not even able to locate a “Guest Dashboard” that they reference. They should be ashamed of their blatant dishonesty.
Our first time staying there. We had a cabin with hot tub because the water tower area was closed. Kids had so much fun in the hot tub. The cabin itself was clean. The cabin did not come with soap, shampoo, and linens. The kitchen came with cooking utensils, pots, pans (not the best quality), cutlery and crockery. The cabin itself was pretty clean. Loved the consistency of hot water coming out of the shower unlike other cabin showers that I’ve stayed at. The outside patio was well-kept, except for the occasional trash seen from previous families. The pool (non-heated) was nice. Playground was decent. If we had a dog, we would have loved to bring our dog into the dog play area. Jumpy pillows are always fun. We didn’t realize you can rent golf carts but we didn’t really need it since we weren’t too far from places, except for the mini golf area. The mini golf was fun for the kids. It probably would’ve been even better if the lazy river and the water play area was open. We’ll have to come back another time to experience that. Overall, we had a good time.
First time visitor. We took the kids for spring break and we had a blast. Cabin was clean except the BBQ grill area was filled with bird mess👎. I recommend staying at least 3 nights. The kids were not able to enjoy to water park because it will open during peak season. I plan on going back soon.
We had a great time. The staff all seamed to be laid back which was cool. We hung out till 2am every night with nobody giving us a hard time. We were respectful noise wise bit still nice not having someone telling you you have to completely shut down. Full hookups for the trailer so it was great all together.
First campsite (142) was SO WINDY.... like misserable windy. After we moved to a new site it was night and day difference. Dont camp near the levee. If you are camping find a place that is protected by cabins meaning cabins in between you and the river. Staff was great. The water park was so fun for kids. But its not the place for a nature experience. Was kinda dirty... dog poop in our site and cans and trash just sorta scattered everywhere. Got a slight sewer whiff every once in a while. I definitely prefer a state park type experience but if you are into the theme park while you camp thing, it works. It could be a fun place to gather with multiple families.
Was not happy with our stay... we stayed here for four days in our trailer. When we got to our site there was an issue. Took an hour and half to fix it. They do not enforce their rules. There was a long line to get into the water park. Youre supposed to wear wrist bands to get in. Once people are in they took off their wrist bands and gave it to their friends through the gates. So many people did this was super overcrowded. Some of the wrist bands were torn but was still accept it. So many people also cut the lines and no one would stop them. No one to enforce the quiet time rule at night people are playing loud music at night and having drunk screaming match past midnight. So many cars in one site that its so hard to move out. Was so stressful trying to leave because so many cars. For the price youre paying and for the service youre getting just go to a water park. I gave it atleast two stars because my four year old did enjoy the water park when we got in.
Wanted to like this place so much but it just didnt happen. We arrived at check-in time and initially staff were very helpful. They changed our site number without any issue so we could be closer to some friends. We get to the site and immediately heard yelling between several employees who literally started to fist fight in front of everyone, including a bunch of kids. Cops had to get involved. It was a mess. While we were trying to figure out the layout of our site, we realized the map staff provided us did not match with the site location/number assigned. We also noticed a huge branch on the verge of snapping over our trailer. The branch was so low, it scraped the top of our trailer. We went back to the front desk to ask for help however the employee who helped us wasn’t any help as this employee’s response was, “yea, sorry.. I don’t know what else to tell you.” This employee offered to send a Ranger to assist us in showing us our site but nothing more. We realized the conversation wasn’t going past that so we requested to have the branch cut before we set up. The employee requested for the branch to be cut at that time.We went back to our site and waited almost 40 minutes before another employee driving on a golf cart happened to drive by our site while escorting another cop to the scene of the aforementioned altercation. We requested a second time for someone to cut the branch down so we could finally set up.An employee eventually came by and realized the branch was too big for the tools he brought. He had to request a lift in order to cut the branch. We waited over an hour for the branch to finally be cut down.Furthermore, they DO NOT enforce the rules by any means. The contract they have you sign regarding “quiet time” hours is useless. Occupants near our site were loud and obnoxious while drinking and smoking the entire time we’ve been here (yea, still here). My family and I were sitting around the fire until about 0300 hours one night and observed so much foot and vehicular traffic from multiple different people going to and from that particular site. Car alarms at that site were set off several times from people coming in and out of their vehicles. The same group of people got into several yelling matches with each other throughout our stay and didnt seem to care that other families were around. Why pay to be here when I could be a visitor at someone’s site and stay free without any accountability? It almost seemed as if the visitors were family members of employees who worked here. The bathrooms have not been up kept or restocked since we’ve been here (On day #3 and the bathrooms still haven’t been restocked). At one point, we walked up to use the restroom and three individuals were walking away from the area of the laundry/bathroom. We walked past the laundry room and it smelled as if someone had just hot boxed in it. The list of red flags go on but at this point it just sounds like I’m complaining. If there’s anything positive I can say about this place, the activities they have for kids are great. Laser tag, the water park, the play ground and movie night were all awesome. They also close the water park down every couple hours to sanitize.Obviously, I knew this wasn’t “real camping” and there was going to be a lot going on coming here prior to booking. However, I wasn’t expecting to see employees attempt to kill each other, nor did I want my family subjected to it. I also did not expect to be woken up all hours of the night by inconsiderate and ignorant people.Beside the activities, the Lodi location was straight trash and ghetto as hell. I get people are here trying to enjoy their “vacation,” But damn, it’s common courtesy to be considerate.By the amount of 5 star reviews this location has, maybe we just reserved on a bad week. From my experience, a lot of the things I’ve witnessed and observed this week appear to be a regular thing amongst the staff and clientele here though. No enforcement or accountability = do what you want. Wish our experience went a lot different but it is what it is.
We are sitting at our campsite right now with our campfire going and we are having to basically yell at each other to talk because campers around us are playing rap music so loud it makes it even hard to enjoy the fire. Park officials are riding around in their carts and are not telling them to turn it down. Shameful, because the amenities are nice here. If this is the new world of camping I am selling our trailer - just shameful! It is 9:37 pm
Overall this park has potential. The most awsome moment was when staff came around with squirt guns and water balloons. The tuff part was not seeing enough of yogi bear and the other characters roaming the park. We also did not get a schedule of events to be able to attend those events. Overall its good enough to give it another go next year.My wife and I loved the tower park grill. The food was amazing! The service there excellent! This part of the park was a must. The yogi general store. Over priced and messy. Low availability of souvenirs. A must stop if you do not come prepared but will pay for that mistake.Water park is cool but you get kicked out to make room for other guests. and have to wait in line to enter. my Reccomendation is expansion of this part of the park.RV spots. Full hook up and fire pit provided. Clean! leave trash out front for pick up in morning.Internet is horrible and reception for mobile devices was also bad.
Wonderful amenities, clean grounds, very friendly staff. The campsites are packed in pretty tight unless you have a red carpet site. The pool and shower facilities could use a good scrub but overall a wonderful family experience. The laundry facility was nice but pretty steep priced. I did 3 loads and it was 23 dollars. We would stay again. We went during off season I can only imagine how crammed it gets during peak. Oh and bring your own basketball or volley ball theyre not provided or anywhere we could find on site to get.
Great experience. We stayed in our RV for two nights (I would recommend 3 minimum so much to do there). I would also recommend bringing bikes unless you plan to rent golf carts because it is a larger resort. They usually sell out of the carts on weekends so book ahead ! Their store was pretty stocked but beer was gone Friday evening so we had to drive out to get beverages. Covid restrictions made our Saturday swim day a little tough because half our group had to wait 30 mins in line while they kept the pool at capacity for covid restrictions. Not their fault. Just another crazy protocol they have to follow. They also have to shut down the swim areas every couple hours for sanitation too but the evening 4:30-7 swim was way less packed. We can not wait to go again! A very positive experience.
Great family vacation spot! Exceptionally clean!!! A lot of free activities going on for the kid with a mix of small fee activities as well! ONLY reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is I think the nightly fees could be a little more on the affordable side (for the cabins)!
What a hidden gem! I definitely recommend taking the kids here. There is so much to do that you will want to stay a few nights. A huge shout out to Adrian, he was very informative and great with the kids. The cabin was clean and check out was as simple as dropping the key in the drop box! My only complaint is that some of the items they sell are over priced.
Absolutely horrible will never go back! Park is not well kept grass i mean weeds all over grown around the sites. Bathroom was doaked from top to bottom covered in mud drain covers missing from the floor. Had trash left in front of our cabin from the people who stayed before us it stayed there our entire stay. Staff is a bunch of extreamly rude high school/college kids except one grouchy old lady in the pavillion. Everything was at capacity every time we tryed to do anything other than sit in the cabin or play on the playground. I could have stayed home and taken the kids to the park and not paid there ridiculous fees. Also its been over 2 months and im still waiting on a refund for lazer tag that didnt happen due to their faulty equipment. It took weeks to get a person on the phone to help me after we left because they said we would be refunded by end of day and it wasnt ive spoken to and emailed back and forth with a manager for months with no solution. So if you have $ you just literally want to throw away than this is the place for you if u want to have a good time with your family.... go elsewhere
The website have plenty of information but didnt tell us a few surprises! We stayed in the cabins and when we arrived, we found that there were cups, bowls, silverware, a coffee pot (no filters though) a dvd player and tv. Toilet paper was provided as well as soap. Being your own shampoo. There were fire pits at every campsite/cabin so if you would like, bring your own wood. Also a campsite grill at every cabin. The loft area is easily accessable but allows about 5 ft or so, of clearance. There were also 2 twin mattresses up in the loft. We brought our inflatable bed. There were power outlets everywhere and they had usb outlets too! A nice feature. The refrigerator was clean and cold. An oven, full stove, sink. Even dish soap. 900 sq ft but plenty of room for 8 people. The staff was friendly and helpful. Id recommend renting a golf cart if you plan on being there for 2 or more days. Actually, is recommend staying at LEAST 2 nights to get the full experience. As check in was 4pm and check out was 11am. We will be back!!! The store is also decently priced. Thanks!EDIT: I didnt notice any staff NOT wearing masks. They all had a mask on from what I could see. Even in the store and at the check in, they all had masks.
We go here with a big group every year. Theres a lot of great things about it but be prepared for some annoyances too. Price has been going up and is getting pretty high. We are researching alternative locations to move our annual group trip to in the future but for now we will remain here.
Very fun place. The cabins are nice, well maintained and clean. The new waterpark is awesome but it was SUPER crowded and Im not quite comfortable having my family in large crowds just yet being at the tail end of Covid (I hope its the tail end!) All in all its a solid family camp ground and well certainly be going back.
Such a great experience and I wasnt even there for a full 24 hours. I got in late Saturday night (7/31/2021) and was greeted by the best Gate Seurity Guard Eric. Eric is the perfect person for the job. He was thorough and informative and if you want anyone to represent your company Eric is the person. I could feel his passion for the company and job just from the way he was explaining all of the attributes of the park along with how many locations there were in numerous states. Eric was my first impression of Jelly Stone and from that impression I knew it was going to be a great trip. All of the staff were wonderful to work with. The last incounter I had was with the kindest and most friendly woman who was marking care and putting up caution tape and cones for the wood post project to prevent cars from rolling down the hill. Such a great personality. The park itself is so clean and inviting. Cant wait to go back!
This is the place. Its not far but you feel like you are. The kids will have to much fun. They have an affiliate app that keeps you in the loop of all the activities going on for the day. When I say activities. Every 2 hrs is something. Or you can just lounge at one of the 4 water stations. We are definitely making this one of our yearly trips. Thank you JELLYSTONE
This place is so overpacked. Sites are right on top of each other. Its like a homeless encampent on some of the tent sites with dozens packed end to end. Staff is almost non-existent. People partying at 2am and fighting in the streets. Was not a safe or happy experience. The pool is nice but it isnt worth it. Would not repeat.
My review will be very fair based on our experience. We stayed Memorial Day weekend. Our daughters had a blast! We are cabin campers so we rented a Deluxe Cabin. We were happy with the spacious cabin layout. However, our cabin was very dirty on both the inside and outside. The park needs to do a better job with cleanliness especially with Covid. We had a dirty bathroom, ants, dirty dishes, stove, and floors. The park does not answer their phone lines even staying as a guest, which is very frustrating! We have three daughters, and the best part was the water park. I recommend renting a cabana. In fact, it is a must! Otherwise, you will be asked to leave the water park at 130pm and 430pm for 30 minutes for cleaning and sanitizing. You are asked to take all of your belongings and you will loose your table and chairs. You will need to wait in line to enter back into the waterpark. When you rent a cabana you can go in and out as you please. Also, during the cleaning times you can stay in your cabana. Although pricey, it was worth every penny for our family just to avoid packing up and leaving to wait in line each time. The park advertises a fishing area and sandy beach. However, the fishing area is filled with broken up concrete with rebar. Surrounded by tall grasses and weeds. We did learn at the end of our trip that you can fish from the boat docks but good luck with that. The sandy beach is filled with debris and little sand. It is certainly not a sandy beach to hang out on. The park really needs to do better here. We were looking forward to fishing and the areas were just garbage. We ended up renting a fishing boat. Our boat was very old and the gears did not work well. We requested a bait cooler and come to find out it did not work either. Finally, I would consider that the park has two levels. I recommend renting a golf cart. It was perfect getting around the park, and the kids had a blast riding! Overall, our kids had the most fun at the water park. But, if you stay at the cabins try the ones with the hot tub. There is a row of them close to the water park and everyone is in front of your cabin during the day. But there are some towards the beginning of the row of cabins, and you have more privacy when people are at the water park during the day. Maybe those cabins are also cleaner. The park is “renovating” certain areas but the park as a whole is old and rundown. You can tell it hasn’t been taken care of through the years. I would love to the fishing and sandy beach area renovated as they advertise. Also, to see yogi bear theme statues upon entering. Yogi bear theme decor throughout the park and in the cabins. It would be also nice if they left their cabin guests quality toiletries. They gave us the cheapest stuff on the market. For the amount of money we paid we were disappointed in the quality. We made the best of it. Good luck!
Pros:1) Fantastic water park & lazy river2) Many fun family activities3) safe, kid friendly campgroundCons:1) Contruction - the addendum when you are booking online about construction happening around campground is no joke.2) Ants - the place is overcome with common black ants. They invaded our trailer coming up the water hoses.3) Expensive: the campsites & cabins are expensive because they include the amenities (water park, jumping pillows etc). There are MANY add-ons like Golf Carts that can double your bill. Golf carts are recommended. If you dont get one youll regret it because there are so many buzzing by you all the time.I was torn between 3 & 4 stars because my experience during this visit was not optimal but I can envision what it could be without the mishaps I experienced (construction, ants & unavailable food amenities)BEWARE: their website boasts they have a Food truck & restaurant on site but it doesnt mention THAT ARE NOT OPEN ON MONDAYS AND TUESDAYSI showed up 1st night (Mon)thinking we would grab burgers from food truck to find it would not open until Wednesday.
My husband and I went the our Grandkids, great Grandkids. This definitely a place to take the little ones. There was so many activities for them. The Waterpark area was the go to for everyone. My husband and I went down the slide as well. We are definitely coming back ( maybe without kids) LOL
My family just had a horrible experience which resulted in us leaving. Check in is at 4pm and we arrived at 5pm to realize after my kids ran in that it had not been cleaned. I wouldnt want them exposed to something during this Covid time. We called to inform that it was dirty and the TV mount was broken as we didnt want to get blamed for it. We waited 2 hours in total after several calls to the after hours phone number. The gentleman assured us someone was coming to view the TV and clean. My kids were tired/hungry and couldnt even use the restroom. Im beyond frustrated about the situation. This was our first time there and were greatful they gave us a military discount but now regret booking this place. I wouldnt recommend to anyone. On top of it we were told we couldnt get refunded and would need to call back in the morning. I really hope they do whats right and refund us our money.
EDIT: tried responding to their email; it said email was invalid.this place is so overpacked. The water park was closed (we arrived at 6pm) there are dozens of kids flying through everyone’s campsite and I watched several cars almost hit them. We told the office that we would be using tents, the tiny area we got was full of gravel, real nice for a tent site. Id rather sleep under the bridge. No refunds allowed, nothing like the website.275$ a night , basically a scam.
First time here as Jellystone Park and I was pleasantly surprised considering another jellystone park I visited I would have given 2 stars. The cabin was clean, I was surprised eating and cooking utensils including pots and pans were provided. Had I known this I would not have hauled my own. Loved the lazy river (wish it was bigger), and pool. Grandson was disappointed the splash tower was closed maybe next time. I would like for activities to be open throughout the day/evening (not scheduled) as it was so hot we spent most of our time at the pool. For example movie nights with Yogi, BooBoo and Cindy. Night lazer tag, evening dance party for kids under 10. Lazy river at night. We absolutely love Sunset Sweets we had a blast meeting new people while we enjoyed the music, shaved ice, ice cream looking out over the water watching folks on jet skis, and boats all while watching the sunset. It was very disappointing on our last day to hear Sunset Sweets lease will not be renewed so they will be gone by October. My family would like to make labor day our annual camping weekend at Jellystone but I would need to consider the cost Fri-Mon for 6 $1850. 😬 which included a cabana for 1 day and golf cart for Fri-Sun 🤔, and the fact Sunset Sweets has won my heart and I would be heartbroken if I could not enjoy it after a day at the lazy river. Not to mention the folks that run it are so pleasant. I pray the owners of Jellystone reconsider closing Sunset Sweets I know Im not the only one who will miss them.
Yet again, a second review. Today marks two days that we have called and requested for towels and toilet paper. Neither have appeared and we have resorted to using paper towels. We booked laser tag for 9:00 p.m. today and we showed up and were denied because they were overbooked by 17 people. What a complete disaster. We already posted one review and they addressed that by refunding money however, that doesnt fix the fact that we are still in the park and they are not providing any kind of customer service.
We went this weekend. For our 1st time. The park was sold out and I was shocked by the fact that no one was wearing masks. In the play areas no one was supervising the jumping area and there was about 30 kids on it at one time, no masks. Also the rules were not followed on a lot of things especially after dark. Kids driving the golf carts?? Electric scooters, hover boards, bikes. My husband is a cancer survivor and my son in law has an autoimmune disease and they did not leave our camping area at all. Luckily we were on the end and had no one next to us on one side. On the up side the young man that waited on me in the camp store was very nice and helpful, the girls in the sweet shop were also very nice..great customer service.
Booked a spot online and after driving for a few hours we get there and someone had lefttheir car parked in our spot and I was so angry and upset that I almost started to cry because Im a single dad and my kids were very sad and tired of the long drive then one of the workers Angie saw my face and quickly jumped into action she called the lead girl Caraso she came over and took control put me in a better place quickly calmed me down and saved the day! Cara and Angie are an asset to the Tower Park Jelleystone campgrounds and should be very appreciated and commended for all that they do! Cara even came back with frozen treats for the kids to make sure that we were ok.I never write reviews but these two women are super heroes the only thing missing is the capes! 😁. It was the best 3days this summer in the cleanest place on the Delta. Kids loved it! 12 and 14 years old.Coming back 100000% satisfaction 😊
BEWARE!!! I really enjoyed going to this KOA. Fortunately there are other KOS’s that I can choose from. I put a one star, because that’s as far as it lets me go. We and another couple made reservations for January 29, 2020, but unfortunately because of COVID-19, we couldn’t go. I received an email from the camp stating that they were not accepting guests because of Covid and we could get a refund. So, before I called the park to get a refund, I relayed the message to my friend who immediately called me. We called the park and were both on our phones with the supervisor Matt who asked us if we wanted a refund or camp credit. We chose the camp credit in good faith thinking that when everything is available to use at the camp, we would go, but he never explained to us that we had a deadline to use our credit. Never did he mention that we had a year to use it or we would lose that credit. He claimed that that’s what he tells all his guests, but that’s not true, because how is it that two people listening to him talk never heard him mention such an important detail? So, they’ve basically stolen $372.00 from us and I feel so bad, because my friend has lost almost $1,000. All he could say was “I’m sorry ma’am, but you passed you year.” He said that we were 5 months to late. This is a total ripoff. Some of my friends that used to go there warned me about how some of the staff were rude and it was to expensive. But, of course I didn’t listen. Lesson learned. If it’s too good to be true…then it isn’t. Go to Yelp reviews that are not recommended and read what they have to say. RESERVE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
We love to camp but Jellystone Park camping was definitely a first and most likely a last for us. We’re not fans of condensed camping. It was crazy busy and kids running around with little to no supervision. People blaring their music with no regards to others. It might be the ideal family vacation for some, but it is not for us. We went with friends which made the trip a lot more tolerable than it was. If you love peace and quiet, this place is not for you. LoL
Me being a kid I loveeeddddd this place so much, there are so many things to do. There is a big trampoline that a lot of kids love to jump on, right next to it theres a volleyball area if you wanna play some. Right next to that there is a full sized basketball court with double rim. Lol right next to that there are two play structures one I tiny for little kids and the other is for bigger kids. The also have arts and crafts and what not all around the camp sight... I love this place and its its better in the summer when the pool is opened. Theres always kids riding bikes around or scooters . Definitely a family safe place for night and day.
The star rating reflects the poor covid safety measures at the park. The night when I arrived to check in on 3/31, I was greeted by a staff not wearing mask while speaking to me no more than 2 feet apart. I was shocked at the staffs lack of consciousness to exercise social distancing and mask wearing! I gave it the benefit of the doubt, and was hopeful that this was an exception and not the norm. For the rest of my two night stay, my family and I were evidently the only few groups out of the dozens of families who wore mask. Most the staff I interacted with did not wear a mask neither, with the exception of the two who worked at the pavilion. So much for setting an example from the top...I get it that if you are hanging out amongst yourselves in your cabin area, that its your personal choice to not wear a mask. But if you were going to enter public area such as the swimming pool and pavilion and park, you should wear a mask. Period. The pandemic is not over yet. I dont care if its outdoor or indoor, you should wear a mask if you plan to talk and laugh freely around people that are not part of your group. My nephews had lots of fun camping so Im giving it 2 stars rather than 1 to flag the absence of covid safety. The cabin itself was nicely done, it appeared to be clean when we settled in.
Its not too far away from the convenience of town and still not too over populated. There is a fun little putting golf area right next to the water. Restrooms werent too dirty but wernt exactly clean either. Probably due to the marina being under reconstruction at this time right now. Ive been there almost every day for the past three weeks putting up the insulation in the reconstructed building. The campers seem to always be enjoying their time there.it will be very nice inside the marina as soon as the construction is completed in another month to two months. After the construction ends Id say 4 stars till then its more like 3 stars.👍
They have pretty good showers and toilets. Pretty kid friendly, has a big pool play area. The bad is that the rv sites are tiny. Sites are barely big enough to get your rv in and have a picnic table and a few chairs. All the sites are packed in side by side, no privacy, better hope you kike your neighbors lol. Will never go their again as it was not even like camping and more like an rv park.
Five stars for the ALL employees that are here. Emphasizing on our experience with Patrick a manager. Had a few small issues that Patrick ironed out very well. Place is beautiful and peaceful. The team here at Tower Park made me very comfortable to return again.Thank you again Patrick for your professionalism and you’re genuine desire to help guests and run a great RV resort!
Great family friendly campground. We stayed in a cabin. We had no linen due to covid 🙄 and our heater did not work 🥶 The tried to figure out why it wouldnt turn on. Ended up giving us a space heater. Clean bathrooms and facility over all. They had fun activities for the kids (last weekend celebrating Halloween) Lazy river was closed. Restaurant was under construction.
Overall solid campground resort, Id like to go back! The marina is well organized with lots of slips and they will launch your boat for you, which is nice considering the steepness of the launch ramp. Two nice pools and hot tubs. Nice little beach. Theyve built a small waterpark, its not yet permitted. The grounds are clean and pretty well maintained. The cost is a bit more than I wanted to pay, yet the campground was sold out the weekend I was there. The main restaurant leaves quite a bit to be desired. Seems a new manager with the right skills is in order there. The general store can be annoying as the same people rent the carts and other vehicles that check out the convenience store type purchases. The resort staff always had smiles on their faces and were ready to help.
My family and I booked our trip August 2020 despite of all the reviews. I was very skeptical at first to make a reservation due to the numerous negative reviews Ive read in different websites. We rented two cabins, one at Delta Deluxe Plus and Delta Deluxe. The main difference is Delta Deluxe has the hot tub and its located a lot closer to the pool and lazy river, other than that the cabin size is completely the same size. My biggest disappointment was the misleading loft upstairs, if you are taller than 4 feet, you will have to bend or crab walk to maneuver upstairs. My kids were extremely excited about the upstairs just to find out theyre too tall to actually stand!! There was one queen bed with no sheets down stairs and two twin mattresses no bedframe upstairs with no sheets. Bring plenty of Disinfecting wipes to reclean surfaces and the bed and definitely bring sheets and blankets and your own pillows. In addition, the website advertises twin bunk bed for Delta cabin and neither the regular or plus had the bunk bed. So my kids had to sleep with us and the other on the floor. I attempted to contact customer service but they were not any help or completely disregarded my complaint. For those concerned about privacy, I would suggest getting your own cabin since the bathroom is located at the center of the cabin and both doors needs to be closed. Its a door connecting to the living area-bathroom-bedroom. To address a few reviews in regards to noise complaints. It truly depends on the neighbors that happened to be next to yours. Its unfair to give Yogi bear a negative star because of it. Although, the curfew hours is definitely not enforced since the staff on duty leaves the camp and I didnt notice any security guard canvasing the campsites so if you were to experience any problems there was no way of contacting the staff after hours. Another thing I would like to mention, there is a lot of construction going on and it didnt interfere with our time being there. The staff did a random cleaning throughout the day which was a good thing since its for the safety of the guest however, it would be nice if they notified us in advance instead of announcing it unexpectedly. Also, the kiddie pool was close so everyone was cramped in the main pool, and the lazy river was opened only in certain hours. Lazer tag was also close. The schedule they have posted near the playground was very inaccurate, my kids wanted to see Yogi bear and they never showed! We stayed for four days and not once did we come across Yogi. The hot tub did not work for the first two days and the wifi was very unreliable. It became worst, close to no reception once more cabins became occupied. On the positive note, it was nice to have an AC unit in the living space and the bedroom. They provided basic necessity like toilet paper, dish soap, handsoap, all kitchen utensils, paper towels, etc.. It was convinient to leave our trash by the front and the workers removed it first thing in the morning. My kids did enjoy riding the golf cart and the lazy river. I would highly suggest renting the golf cart because the mini golf was too far to walk. This place has a lot of potential but they need to consider lowering the nightly price considering most activities were shut down. No one broke into our vehicles, no one had a fist fight, no one called the police, and there was no noise at night from our neighbors.
******EDITED TO ADD: We came back to Jellystone to rent the cabins with the hot tub. Stayed a Sunday (11/15 to Tuesday 11/17). On the evening we arrived, we noticed our oven was not working. Called to ask, which they sent over 2 nice men who just didn’t know what they were doing! After a bunch of back and forth, I simply suggested that maybe it was unplugged. And it was. We plugged it in but the stove still didn’t work. They said they would send a maintenance man but not till morning. But they gave me a portable burner. Okay I let it go, but then as the night went on, we realized the heater in the living room wasn’t working either. We saw they had a portable heater in the corner. So they give us the cabin with the heater and stove not working. Next day AROUND 1. Someone comes to fix the heater, still no one for the stove. And this guy leaves with the heater STILL NOT WORKING! Heater never got fixed. unacceptable for the amount we paid. On top of that the cabin was dirty, dishes in the cabinets still dirty. Was kinda upset to come back and have this experience. Also they said there would be construction but they did not say there would be tree chopping damn near outside my window (wood chipper is loud) Loud machinery everywhere we went. The upside was the mini golf, and practically having the place to ourselves since it was a weekday. Again no lazer tag (thurs-sun except we were there on a Sunday and they weren’t doing it then 🤔) The hot tub saved this trip! They need to do better if they are going to charge 250+ a night. *********We really enjoyed our stay here at the cabins. We live in the next town over and decided on a last minute trip here. It was exactly what we needed. A couple things to note; if you have kids and want to enjoy laser tag, you have to sign up for time slots as soon as you get there as spots fill up fast! We didn’t know this so my kids missed out! Also don’t expect to come here and enjoy the sandy beach area as the water has toxic algae. Lazy river and pools only open a few more weeks but the lazy river is closed on Tuesdays/ Thursdays. So overall we had a great time, we had low expectations due to covid. My only huge gripe is that I wish there was more info around the park regarding the sign ups and they need to post the toxic algae on their site so people know this. Cabins could have been cleaner as well, especially with Covid. But it’s convenient for us and just a 25 min drive so we will be back!
My family of 4 stayed in one of the cabins for 3 days. It was super clean and had plenty of towels. We followed their checklist of things to bring and we had everything we needed. The fire ring was great and the kids loved the jumping pillow. Every staff member we interacted with was awesome, especially the ladies at the front desk. This campground was nice and peaceful and a great place to bird watch. We cant wait to come back again this summer when the pool is open.
This place is a joke. The service was bad,the manager was not interested in anything you have to say and would state okay we will fix it and nothing was done. the pool staff rude and unhelpful. Paid for upgrade to get a to get a out door jacuzzi and it was broke. Cooking outside and staff would drive by kicking up dust and when asked to stop they just keep doing it. They would change the times for events and the candy hunt was three places only. Nothing that was advertised was correct. I could keep going but I will stop now. I will never go there again and I will tell everyone I know not to waste their money.
We have camped here two times and we love it. Campsites are a little close but its primarily RV/trailers so that provides some privacy. There are tent campers too. Its extremely family-friendly. With activities planned all day for many ages. Jellystone offers bumper boats, mini golf, laser tag- additional cost. There are two play structures, an inflatable pillow for jumping, basketball court. Its reccomended to bring transport ie bike, scooter, or similar and they also offer golf carts for renting. There are quite a few rules that are strongly enforced but in my opinion they are fair for safety (primarily of children) and easy to follow. ie no riding bikes after dark.Although, not all amenities were open (water tower, lazy river) I reccomend checking it out. Its so great to see children (including my own) riding and scootering about all day. We went in July 2019 so it was very HOT. Beware. If youre unfamiliar with the area it does get very hot. Stay hydrated. Another good reason to have transport within the park in case youre not close to the pool or other activities you can ride to them quickly.Website says wifi and it is NOT strong at all. When we stayed into the week after everyone left the wifi changed from entirely unusable to unreliable. With Verizon I had cell coverage others will most likely have spotty coverage.Down the road less than 10 miles is a super walmart, starbucks, dutch bros, etc. And about 5 miles down the road is Michael David winery. Its a beautiful place to sit and enjoy some great wine.
Overall smooth experience. The reason it loses a star is for the closed restaurant and bar. There used to be a place to eat, right on the water and it has been closed down. However, they did say that they plan to put another restaurant in its place.Water park, camp sites, pull through sites, and park was as expected.
Cool atmosphere its a little cramped if you have a big fifth wheel. The staff is very nice and the park is clean. The water park was not complete when we were there so we couldnt use it. Laser tag was awesome and worth the extra money. Miniature golf is included and the kids had a really good time with that
None of the water activities were up and running, as tbey allege they have been trying to obtain a permit for 3yrs? They also have people staying there year round which not a good idea! The landscaping is really suspect, as parts of the park are overgrown with weeds etc. The basketball court had a rim with a ripped net, dont these maintenance people see these types of things? The bathrooms/showers were new and very nice. The mini golf course was very nice but weeds all over the place and there should have been a Jellystone type theme.
Boated in. They have bumper boats. Looked like fun. The attendant told us the next session was in 20 minutes, and we needed to go into store to sign up / pay. Wife spent 10 minutes signing everyone up, and paid. The last bit of information they wanted was our campsite. We told the attendant we boated in, she said that is not a problem. The people in the store would not let us do it because we were not campers. Two different people, two different answers. What a mess. Not boater friendly.
Overpriced camping in ghetto lodi California They think they are located in some amazing destination and charge crazy prices. You can stay for free on highway 12 with the rest of the homeless probably would be the same thing. The man the has short hair and is MANAGER is very angry.Update: it took over 6 days for the people running the Facebook messenger account to get me corporate info. Kinda the service I expected from this management team.
It was amazing. Went for my bday with friends and my family. Cabin was just perfect and comfy. Very clean and up to date. Very handicap assesible. We came during winter season. Prices were great. Can get to be pretty pricy in spring and summer. Unless you have a rv its awesome. Only negative I have is that one of the grounds people need some people skills. Very rude. Other then that cant wait to come back.
Had reservations Monday thru Wednesday unfortunately my husband had to get back to work Wednesday so we decided we were going to leave the park Tuesday around maybe 9:00pm so my boys can enjoy the park all day Tuesday. First check in is at 4:00pm which is I think a little too late because practically it leaves you with only one day to enjoy and paying 2 nights. We get there Monday and they tell me they have no key for our cabin because the previous people lost it and they will deliver the key being made at 8:30 am the next day. Uhmm ok.. I start to look around and noticed the covers covering the mattress were filled with dog hair and stains it was plain disgusting. Thankfully I took pillows, covers and fit sheets or else it would have been a total nightmare. In the lazy river there are some cabanas you can rent which I thought it was pretty cool to have... But unfortunately because of the NO security they have there were people having hard liquor going on and playing music with high volume and very disturbing for children. Having profanity words in it and moaning sounds in the background of the music and smoking weed when it clearly says no smoking. The golf carts to rent supposably an adult has to drive the golf carts and there were a bunch of kids riding them and acting all crazy just note cars are parked in front of the cabins yours can get hit by a golf cart and a huge problem can occur. We stayed Monday night but decided to check out Tuesday first thing in the morning and we were told we were going to get Tuesday refund which I called my bank and they havent ... I called to speak to a manager a man name Chris answered as soonest he heard my complaint he hang up on me try calling again and never picked up. I have pictures and videos of the place very disappointed its not what they advertise we only enjoyed the lazy river and the other pools looked so dirty not sanitize at all. Laser tag was closed and the only thing cool I can say the giant jumping pillow.
We were first time visitors and we had a great time over the weekend! Lots for the kids to do and the people and staff were very friendly and attentive. The grounds were neat and clean and pool amenities were amazing. They have really poured their heart into this place and it shows. Close enough for wine tasting and shops in Lodi as well. We will be back to visit again soon! :)
We stayed at the park for about a month as we waited for out truck to be fixed. Due to the rain, the staff put us on a concrete slab rather than the grass space we initially paid for - at no additional charge. There was so much for the kids to do and the park felt safe enough for our kids to ride their bikes and hang out at the park. Waterfront Restaurant has quality and affordable food. We spent numerous days at this restaurant because the full bar, great food, and amazing staff. We have 2 dogs, one being a pit bull and this park did not breed discriminate. Laundry, bathroom, and park were all clean and working. Would come back to this park over and over again.
They say they are a resort but not got her and what they have on web sit is not what they had there park really opens on Fridays and sat and sun but Im her on a Tuesday and a Wendy and every Thang is closed so what Im I going to do with my 3 and 2 year old they cant play golf and they can go in the lazy river they say the havelazer tag and have kids water park not open but a small pool there are 20 of us cant let us all go in at once so I paid 500 for two day so my kids can pay on a playground and go swing in a small pool so what was the point of being open to the public if nothing open and cant even have a fire to cook marshmallow on . Went to the offices and they told me thing are going to be open but wernt so .
It took my mother camping the week after Mothers Day weekend. We wanted to stay close to home seeing how we were trying a new trailer. On the website this Campground looked wonderful. The location is easy to find and the staff is friendly . Upon checking in we were not notified of the loud construction occurring within the park . On arrival we were placed two spots away from heavy construction. We were told they would not go late however they worked till 8 p.m. and started 7 a.m. the following morning with more people and equipment. The front desk relocated us without incident since the park was a ghost town. Halfway through Tuesday the construction relocated near the check-in building which was right above where our new campsite was. To charge $70 a night in a construction zone is outrageous. My second issue with this Campground is the website did not reflect the construction nor that the pool would not be open. Regarding the showers and toilets, they were very clean and tidy. The grounds were very clean as well. I understand that the campground was in a rush to complete construction prior to the Memorial Day weekend visitors however it would have been nice to know that there was Construction prior to making my reservation. I spoke to two different people numerous times on the telephone prior to arriving and nobody mentioned this. I would like to try the campground again however not for the price of $70 a night and not next to heavy machinery.
I seldom give poor reviews, but we didnt have a very good experience. Many attractions were shut down, general store was out of supplies (had to drive 10 miles to Walmart) and we had horrible customer service. Old uncomfortable sqeaky beds, worn pillows, scratchy towels. The people who live at the rv park are rude and unfriendly. Although there were many unused golf cars, we were told they were all sold out. It wasnt worth the $400 we spent for one night and definitely not luxury as advertised. Half of that would be more than fair.
A very popular RV/Cabin(s)/Tent park geared for the whole family in mind. My first time visiting this park. Its December at the park was well visited. Lots of water activities here and what I observed are improvements or upgrades in progress. I would like to visit again to see the finished work.
There are lots of things broken including the washers and dryers that according to another guest have been broken for over a year. The front gate is broke as well so guest have to drive the long way around however the staff have the key code and will not give it to the guest. When I say the long way I mean you have to snake your way through the other campground where there are other RVs and kids running all over the place. The roads are really bad right now too. The staff are rude too. The activities for the kids are great but I feel not worth the price, they upcharge for pretty much everything. The restaurant...lets talk about the restaurant. First the good thing is the food taste good and is well plated however the staff are rude and do not understand time management. My glass was empty most of the 1.5 hours we were there and i always had to wave our waitress down to get anything. They were not even that busy. It took over an hour to get our food and only 4 tables in the place had people. Then my food came out wrong and the waitress argued with me saying its what I ordered. When I argued back she walked away and got the manager. The manager was also very rude and short and just said they will remake my food, then I heard the manger say to the waitress you cant please some people very loudly so that I could hear it. Overall I am very disappointed in my experience and I will not ever be back.
The park looked great and like our family would have a lot of fun.We had a couple of family emergencies, which included our son being hospitalized on two separate occasions and needing some emergency dental work that is going to cost $.We canceled with them 3 weeks ahead of time and their policy is you have to forfeit 1/2 of the amount you paid and the other half could only be applied to a future visit. This is an awful business practice. Busy families have needs that come up. At a cost of $400/night, you expect a bit of professionalism out of an establishment but I am disappointed to say that we will not be getting a refund. Had we booked almost any other kind of trip, getting a refund wouldnt even be a question.
Lots of activities that are fun for kids but they nickle and dime you to death. Everything costs extra and the activities are not always open or available. We were charged early arrival fee on a weekend that was fairly empty at the campgrounds. The worst camping showers ever, cold water that shuts off after about 30 seconds and you have to turn in back on over and over again and the bathroom lights shut off during my shower.
We celebrated cousins BD - 2 families with kids ages 2-18. With COVID , distancing worked , with 2 cabins side by side and fire pit / picnic table and chairs in between . Cabins clean and fully equipped . I recommend for get away during these times .Mini golf , bounce pillow , golf cart , scooters , and ceramics were fun .We won the Cabin Christmas decorating contest with a prize towards a return visit .Will definitely come back when boating , lazy river and pool open again !
Stayed this past Tuesday through Wednesday and couldn’t wait to leave. A family of about 30 were having a reunion and kids were riding bikes unsupervised, no helmets going through campsites, almost ran over my dog while I was walking her. Music and partying till 1:30 am and underaged kids driving golf carts. Even though nice RV sites not sure we will go back.
The campground was great. Amenities are ok, and need to frequently visit the comfort room. The customer service at store are great but the service we received from the restaurant was really bad. There are 3 waitresses, lots of available tables but somehow they neglected us. Its not like theyre busy or short staff. They need some major improvements on customer service skills to better serve the ANY customer. The sunset sweet tower was superb! All in all we had a good experience in our 4 days stay at this facility.
My rv broke down in Texas and I called more than 48 hours to let them know I could not make it, as I was still stuck in Texas, and they refused to give my deposit back. Very disappointed in this facility and will not ever recommend them to anyone. They dont even deserve the one star it should be worse. I even tried to reschedule with a later date, but they did not have anything, and that was ok. But not ok to take someones money during a hardship and they were notified in advance.
We booked a stay based on the waterpark, since other reviews said it was open. It is NOT open, and never has been. Shill reviews? Anyway, the activities that were available were nice, but the thing we really noticed was that no one -- including staff -- was overly concerned about park rules. There were kids flying every which way on bikes and golf carts (not teens, children!) at all times of day and night. Helmets? No way! And with the speed many of the cars were using, it was a miracle nobodys unwatched child was hit. Bathrooms were constantly filthy and there was no hot water in the showers. But the nightly outdoor theatre was cute and fishing was good so.... 2 stars.
Been here since 4:30 pm. First they gave us the wrong cabin. On our way to grocery store they called asking us to return to the office because of the mistake. No problem but the store was almost 15 min. away off of 8 mile road. So do the math. Anyway When we got back we returned the key and proceeded to our right cabin. Tired we wanted to relax but with covid we had to disinfect cabin from front to back. Thats what we do. Place was dirty with spiders and cobwebs all over and 1 pesky fly that we finally got at around 9pm. Light fixture has dead bugs and dead flys. Why couldnt they clean before next family came in. No we did not clean light fixture or the smelly a/c. We Lysoled the spiders and smashed them. We are hungry now. Wife put our pot on stove top and turned the knob and nothing happen. We turned all three on and nothing. We paid for having a stove in the cabin. Now its 8:50- 9:00 pm. pesky fly is dead and the office is closed. Still hungry. So we had cold cuts (Lunch meat) and crackers with wine. LolCrazy. This place is not what I thought it would be. I wouldnt bring my grandkids here. Dirty and dry looking. In the morning we will probably leave if we make with no more mishaps.
We had a good time despite that we were not told when reserving our spot (100) that part of the water park wasnt working and that construction was working. That spot (100) had no electric plug or water so we used the next campsite since no one was there.Everything is pretty spread out so you definitely need a golf cart (2 day minimum) or drive your car.Bathrooms need to be cleaned more often and soap provided more often .My grandchildren said the hay ride was boring all they saw was campsites, maybe add something worth viewing.
This was our first time to Yogi Bear. The resort is clean and well maintained. We were not able to use all of the park Amenities since COVID restrictions were in place, which is the main reason I am giving it 3 stars. The only thing open was the pool, which is restricted to 1, two hour session per day per family. We got a voucher for laser tag to make up for the inconvenience, but that broke down. We tried the gem mining, but they were out of gem bags. I know everyone is adjusting on the fly but it just seems as though there could been better preparation on their part, especially when we are still paying an arm and a leg for a resort with two thirds of their amenities closed. Also, the quiet time starts at 11, which is no big deal, but we had a very noisy family next to us that carried on until 1:30 and there didnt seem to be anyone from the park who did any sort of patrolling at night to enforce anything.I also called the office twice with questions about two different subjects, had to leave a message after being on hold and was never called back by the staff.UpdateStaff called me back 7 hours after I left my last message.Also...I rented one the little yellow two seater motor boats from the marina. It was a blast for the first 20 minutes, then it broke down. I barely made it back to the marina. At least they gave me a full refund. This has not been one of our better trips. I do not think we will return.
Went tent camping for 5 days. Kids loved it. Pools where lots of fun, probably the best part. Staff was very friendly and nice, although some where clueless as to what was going on they always offered to find out and get back at you. They have activities for families and kids which are fun and come included in stay. The only bad part was the bathrooms. They are utterly disgusting. In the five days they never got cleaned and they where Always flooded. I had to go around camping site looking for decent ones or just went out to town.
We stayed in a cabin, our kids our eight and eleven. We were really disappointed. Only thing to do was play in the kiddie pool, which is designed for kids 5 years and under.Jumping pillow was hot and deflated, Mini golf was nice but all in the sun.Kids activities were very juvenile. The swim beach they advertise is not at all a beach but a swamp with very little space to swim. This place has potential but they are missing the activities for the older kids. I would only recommend this place for younger kids.
Boo boo cabin was right size for two boys, daughter and 2 adults. AC struggles during the afternoon, but cabin is in the shade which helps. Charcoal grill only outside, so bring a gas grill for quick meals. Lazy river opened up recently. Lots for the kids to do. Families are not wearing masks, but are physically distancing from others, except some young kids, of course.
This place was absolutely amazing!!! It was just a sweet, cute and fun place to go and hang out with your kids! I think the amenities were nice and clean. I really felt this was a great use of space and the location is easy to find and get to. I hope you will enjoy it! Its just nice, simple, clean family fun :)
The pros the staff here are very friendly. Lots of activity’s for the kids and the golf carts are so fun. The cons we rented a cabin deluxe our cabin 355 was dirty upon arrival, the blinds upstairs were broken you could not open them, our TV didn’t work after telling front desk about it they still didn’t fix it. We have been here for a week and these problems were still not fixed. The internet doesn’t work and the REC staff close activity if no one shows up right when it starts even though they have an hour slot. We tried to go sing karaoke but we have been swimming so we went to a change by the time we came back it was 515 because activity started at five and no one showed up they canceled the whole hour session .
So many things for the kids todo. A diverse group of campers, we had no issues with anyone being too loud or rude. Lots of kiddos riding their bikes and scooters, even golf carts! Went wakeboarding and tubing with friends, played laser tag and mini golf. Watched the sunset and ate ice cream every night. Make sure to pack most of your food items, the general store has plenty of stuff but they’re a little pricey for some things. Bathrooms and showers were always clean. We can’t wait to come back! Friendly and helpful staff.
Wow has Tower Park changed! What a great place to come for the day for free!! Yes, I said FREE!Memorial Weekend was winding down and we wanted to take the kids somewhere to swim other than a neighbors pool. We had some friends that had camped there over the weekend so we decided to meet them. We drove right in and parked near the ice cream sign. Theres a small little sand beach and a picnic table. We posted up there met our friends and the kids played in the water. Later other kids joined and a few more parents. We ended up purchasing snacks and a few beers for the day. The kids loved it and we d dont pay a thing. If you go deeper inside the camp ground theres a huge pool and a jumper surrounded with sand. I believe the cost is $30 for the day. Still very reasonable and very nice. Family oriented for sure! No drunk dirtbags or wild girls auditioning for Girls gone wild video!I didnt get a chance to physically see the cabins they offer but they look beautiful online. Very reasonable. Less than $200 a day! I will definitely be back! I feel like this is a hidden remodeled gem!! Check out peeps! Only minutes away from Brentwood/Antioch area!!
This is a great part for camping. I was there with a very large group in 2017. We had a whole section with tents only in the back of the campground. I would love to attend this park again. However, the park informed us that they have very few tent spaces available now. And they are mostly accommodating to RV and motorhomes😡☹️😠👎🏽🤔. My only complaint was that I wished the bathrooms were a little bit more maintain. Maybe pressure washed prior to the busy summer. Also maybe more frequent attendance by Staff to ensure toilet paper and paper towels and trash cans were empty more often during a busy weekend. However, when We notified the Staff they was prompt and friendly and with resolving the needs.
I saw this place yesterday......This is very exciting to have something with these kind of activities for kids to do. It also lets the parents enjoy it or get a break from the kids and not have to worry about keeping them entertained. There is nothing like this anywhere in the west coast that Im aware of. I cannot wait to take family and Im not sure if Im more excited or they are. I want to give a shout out to the awesome owners and workers at Tower Park Marina. They are making this place a fresh and new fun place to enjoy some good memories.
Spent 4th of July weekend here. It was crowded and a bunch of stuff was closed. The spots are very close together and people drive through pretty fast in spots, keep an eye on your kids. They closed down the pools and bounce pad early, so didnt get to enjoy them much. The Sandy Beach is actually just an embankment with sand on it, not very bog or useful. Overall my impression of the place was meh. Pricey for what it is. Wish I had gone to Cava Robles instead...
I love the activities for the Grandchildren, they were never bored. We knew we could have up to 8 people in our party. When we arrived we were given a packet with rules, map and 3 pink armbands. (Supposed to be four) We were NOT AWARE that to swim in the pools and participate in activities you must be wearing the armband. When we went to inquire about additional armbands we were told they would cost $55.00 EACH. So in addition to paying $100/night for our RV and tent spot, we spent ANOTHER $220.00 SO EVERYONE COULD GO SWIMMING. We could have stayed in a luxury suite for the week, the pool would have been free and all the advertised amenities would have been open and working. (We thought the Lazy River and Water Slides would be open) This would not have been an issue had everything been explained ahead of time. To top it off its the day after the 4th of July holiday and THEY RAN OUT OF ICE. So here we sit with ice chests full of drinks and food...
So, I have to add one big caveat to my review. This park is under major renovations. Right now, they seem like they still have a few months of work to do before the place is in great shape. But, right now at least, the prices are very affordable and the amenities are impressive for the price. The Good: The cabins are super-nice. Ours seemed freshly installed and could have accommodated a family of 6 comfortably. So, our family of three were swimming in space. Our cabin had a grill and a fire-pit and a kitchen. There were power-outlets everywhere and the shower water was hot. So, you dont feel like you are even roughing it at all. You can park right next to the door, too. So, even unloading was easy. There is tons of stuff for kids to do and there will be even more when the water-park opens for the season. The Bad: You have to provide your own bedding and pillows. You should also bring your own paper-towels, soap, firewood, and other disposables. Some of this stuff can be purchased at the general store. But, its cheaper in town. The wifi didnt really work for me. When I was able to connect, it was pretty unreliable compared to LTE.The Ugly: There are a number of living arrangements available, but the most popular seems to be RV-camping. Most of the RVs of the guests were in good shape. But, a few were pretty disreputable. The ongoing construction means that there are areas that are roped-off, boarded-up, and muddy.Anyway, we will be going back for-sure. I only hope that when they finish their renovations they dont tipple the price.
1hr 20 mins to check in with a prepaid cabin. Water park looks great but isnt open so 1000 kids in a backyard sized pool. People are crammed in like sardines. The few staff are very nice, friendly but very few. All the free activities have stuff for the kids to buy. No posted hours. Beer bottles and cans laying around in the a.m. cabin wasnt clean, had to empty trash and do dishes when we moved in. I think mostly its over crowded for the staff they have.
Extremely dirty. Trash everywhere: grass, walkway, the small plot of sand and mostly vegetation near the river (so called beach), stashed in random bushes, in front of our cabin, on the mini golf course, and more. The rooms were not very clean too. Many of the amenities were closed or not available. Laser tag, lazy river, and mining were not open. Activities posted on board were days old. Long lines at front office of people complaining.
Stayed here over Father Day weekend 2019. First off... very full EVERY site was booked, we booked our site 5 months in advance to get a deluxe site. So if you dont like crowds and LOTS of people and kids this place is NOT for you. But we have 2 boys age 5 and 7 and there was TONS to do. 2 pools, hot tubs, playground, lazer tag, minature golf, etc. The list goes on and on. They clearly are reinvesting their money back into the facilities. 5 stars for amenities. People everywhere on weekends, a lot less crowded on weekdays.
We spent memorial day weekend here with our kids. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The campground was very clean. The general store has anything you may have forgotten, expect to pay a little more than your normal store. They had a lot of activities planned for kids all weekend. They ate currently finishing up the lazy river and water slides. Once they are done well definitely be back.
This place exceeded all of our expectations! We went for my Wifes B-day with our 6 and 4 year old daughters. They loved it, they never had a chance to get bored. The staff was very friendly, they both received gifts when we checked in. We stayed in the Cindy Bear cabins. Plenty of room for the 4 of us. The place was very clean and right next to the playground. Lots of other kids for them to play with. There are 2 sets of gates to go thru so we felt very safe letting the kids run and play. We will be going back again.
Just spent 2 nights in a Cozy Cabin. Loved the whole experience. Lots of activities for family & children. Our cabin was pristine...Due to my inability to walk much, we rented a golf cart-made it so convenient. We also had a delicious dinner at the restaurant. Anxious for a second visit...Thank You to Yogi & Boo Bear. Love your new dwellings.
Family camping trip to celebrate my grandsons 10th birthday. We arrived early Friday evening after work -7pm. Easy check in! When we arrived, the registration staff met us at the gate to check us in; Our registration packets were already prepared when we arrived. We reserved 3 tent sites and 1 cabin in which they arranged it so that we were all next to each other, even the cabin. They even escorted us to our campsite so we wouldnt get lost. We did need to go to the registration office to check into the cabin, but that was quick also. There were soo many activities going on for the kids that we couldnt fit them all in! We did get the kids the pizza party. It was perfect. Good size slice of pizza, a juice bottle served on a token Frisbee as a gift. All for $5/kid. The pool was perfect for the kids with a shallow play area for the little ones and a slide for the older ones. Lifeguards on duty were very attentive. The huge jumping pillow, sorry I didnt post a pic, was so much fun. Even the adults got on and we could not stop laughing at eachother. If you go during October, you must do the magic pumpkin patch in which they take you on a tractor hay ride! Lots of kids dressed up and went trick or treating around the camp grounds...the haunted house was really scary too. There is kayaking for the older kids and movie night, but theres still so much we missed, so we definitely need to stay longer next time! Oh, check out, just drop your keys and/ or passes in the drop box on the way out! Thats it. Nice staff and very clean park. Restrooms are clean and the atmosphere is family oriented. This park will not disappoint you. Enjoy! Oh, and my grandson said it was the best birthday camping trip of his life! LOL
So I will say that I didnt stay at this place and I cant judge the whole experience. My family and I drove down because we were interested in camping here in the future. When we asked for a tour, they wouldnt give us one because they arent allowed to. They told us we could drive about a quarter of a mile and walk. They also said if we found a house keeper, we could go in and look at a cabin.Someone who was at the registration counter (Jolene) was rude to us for driving down to see the place. Also found interesting that the cabins are under a no smoking policy but their house keeper was smoking as she was cleaning.I wont be staying here. Im glad I drove out to see what it looked like and saved some money.
I arrive in the late night no staff massive place I realized as I drove through and through looking for a camp site but couldnt find the registration information. I give them points though the bathrooms were open and spotless. I would like to have rented a cabin. I am going to try and get a basic rental next summer and see if it is as much fun a place as it looks to be.
They have done a lot to make the park look nice, but the management and staff are rude and unprofessional. The rules are not upheld, not even by their own staff. They send out threatening emails (regarding multiple vehicles per site, picking up after pets, noise levels, etc) to the seasonal guests, but it is oftentimes their staff members that are breaking those rules, and nothing changes. Staff children run wild and vandalize cars, etc. but they do nothing to stop this either. As seasonal guests we are treated as though we do not matter, but our rents are paid on time (although lately they haven’t been giving us our bills in a timely manner) and through the winter we are their only steady income. Due to rude service we have also boycotted the restaurant. It is sad that this place could be really amazing but corporate allows the management and staff to make it an awful experience.
Has its pros and cons. Spaces are so close together that it is very crowded. Feels like you are packed in like sardines. Some guests are less than favorable and security is not reliable. People are speeding by on golf carts while drinking with kids everywhere. The pool is nice but crowded since water park isnt open. And while it is a parents job to be responsible for their own kids the lifeguards are not enforcing rules and safety.
Customer service is terrible.I was told that during this covid 19 situation there be social distancing and time frames for the pools and so onI arrived no one knows where you sign up for a time frame for the use of the pools. After sending me from one person to another final at the pool there was a lady who took my time frame for that day.I arrive at my time snd and the pool was packed. I ask what happened to social distancing the lady said the pool is not full so only on weekends do they practice the social distancing. The pool had over 60 people. She says when they have more then 100 people the practice social distancing!I was shocked to get this answer. Then i decide to go to the inner smaller pool which didnt have many people. After 10 minutes they take us all out and ask to wait outside so they can santize! Felt so not real. And when we want to go back in the small pool is now closed because they put stuff in the pool and it cant be used for today. There goes enjoying a nice social distancing pool time. They also give you free usage of the lazer tag but when you go to sign in no one knows whereI was tost around for a hour from one place to another and finally i raised my voice so someone calls and asks whats the deal with lazer tag and they dont even work on weekdaysOnly weekendsSo why give us free passes!?????The cabins are not as describedPicturea show different layout also says gas grill and its notThe store has no charcoals so now bq dinner todayWe had to drive to get charcoals 20 minutes ouy. If we only knew we would bring them from home.Customer service is terribleIf you would like to keep practicing social distancing this is not the place! No one wears masks not even in the shop no one cares
Great place to stay with kids. Lots of activities too! Water park was closed but we received vouchers for different activities (laser tag, bumper boats, & t-shirt coloring). The pools were great and having the ability to rent a golf cart was a plus! I highly recommend this camp site!
This RV park has been a very pleasant surprise. Being on the delta we have tried to avoid staying here and we now regret avoiding it. Beautiful park with spacious sites and plenty of activities for everyone. The staff (especially Matt) has been very friendly and accommodating. We couldnt ask for more or anything better.
Great place to take the family. Very family oriented staff and amazing grounds crew. This is my 3rd time here and every visit seems to improve. Very excited for this summer to experience the lazy river and kids water park. Sites are a bit expensive, but you get amazing facilities. Multiple different cabin layouts if you dont have a trailer or tent. Holiday seaeons has different themes the park hosts. If you forget to bring anything, the small store is reasonably priced. You are less than 15 minutes from a major Walmart and Lodi and only a mere ten minutes from the David Winery in Lodi. I5 with restaurants and services is about 7 minutes away.
Way overpriced for tent camping. We paid 60 something a night. We asked why it was so much. They responded because it gets pretty packed this time of year (late October). We were the only ones tent camping. The place was pretty empty in general. We moved to the sandy beach state campground for nearly half the price.
Never coming here again. We wanted to spend time as a family here and then have 8 of us sleep here, but we were literally told no visitors; you cant even enjoy the place unless youre camping. No form of admission whatsoever unless youre camping. And they nickle and dime you for every little thing. Check in is 4pm, which is very late, but early check in is an extra $25?? And the 8 person cabin is $60 more. We ended up paying $500 so a small portion of our family could stay two nights and we had to find something else to do together. And they wont give a refund upon discovering this uncommunicated information. Absolutely ridiculous and horrible unhelpful customer service. Waste of time and money! Also, they have literally said in response to multiple reviews that they upcharge so much so they can afford renovations. Seriously? Thats just plain wrong. Charge a fair price so more people can enjoy this place. You might make a lot more money if you grant day admission for the fun stuff!
Great weekend activities for the kids. Quiet on the week days during the Fall. Pool and hot tub were nice. I wish there were more places to fish from the bank. Only a small area and doesnt hold many fish. The area by the boat docks has nice bass, but signs everywhere say no fishing.
Hot, dirty, boring, expensive. Theres nothing to do here but swelter around the overcrowded pool. The dog park was full of poop. The water park and lazy river are closed so all the guests are crammed into one hotel sized pool. Our trailer spot was cramped and dirty, we didnt even bother to set up our chairs in the dusty dirt.We have reservations for three days, considering cutting the stay short out of boredom and discomfort.
Park pretty much empty this time of year. Therefore, it was really quiet. We have a 35 foot class A. They first assigned us a short space in the dirt. We could not level and it was only 30 amp. I had requested 50 amp. We complained. They moved us to another dirt space and trying to level was even worse. There were several empty concrete pads around us and they had 50 amp. So we parked there. Now, why would they jack us around when the park was empty? Not staying there again. Also WAY over priced.
Dont waste your money! So unorganized and unprofessional. I rented a cabin and didnt realize I needed to bring towels. I ordered towels and linens shortly after I arrived. Never received them. Went back to the office and talked to someone and left messages. Still nothing. My air conditioner leaked water all over the bed. I called and went to the office. Still nothing was done. No one came to check. Horrible service. I was charged for the linens that I didnt receive.
Great Activities, very poor sanitizing practices. Lazy river packed with people, restrooms- very dirty never saw anyone clean. Showers have no bench to put your clean clothes or personal belongings. Drains where backed up. Hand sanitizers empty most of the time. Not COVID-19 SAFE.
This place was very clean and organized the cabin was magnificent didnt think it would work took my wife and two kids and had a great time had her own table our own place for fire a grill the kitchen a sink a toilet everything is very nice there was a place for the kids to play basketball courts a little Trail I wish there was more to explore and walk around but for the place it was great I wish there were also another place you can go fishing the area was kind of small next to the doc and a lot of trash fishing lines that were stuck and seaweed. There ice cream place was affordable and delicious the owner and his wife were so kind and loving and sweet great place to go camping for the weekend
Nice clean area. It recently changed owners so there was a lot of remodeling being done to the pools and rental sites. Cool jumping pillow that my kids loved. The parks were ok. Without the pools though, there isnt much for there kids to do. We had kyaks but you can only do so much of that and no fishing spots unless you are out on there water.
We stayed 6/30-7/6 (moved RV spots). Kathy & her staff were great. Michaela & Jr at the marina were great. Rosas was great. KOA took over and has cleaned it up from our last visit ~10yrs ago. Campground was very clean and orderly, pool was packed with people every day, playground was busy. Didnt use any of the facilities but they looked clean and well maintained. Had one issue with our row of 50amp breakers blew (it was only 115 degrees out lol) but staff had it fixed in less than an hour. We will be back. Thank you. Kim Herb
This place is great for kids, clean very well run plenty of activities to keep little ones busy. It is on the expensive side but you do get a lot for your money here.2nd reviewPrices are way to high now. To bad our grandkids enjoyed it last year but 300 a night for a cabin and 100 for an rv site then added fees and taxes make a weekend family stay out of reach.
The place is dog friendly and add long as you bear that in mind you’ll be ok . I stayed in the cabins they have built and it was a great vacation for me and my kids . They have 2 nice pools that is clean and maintained . They have lots of activities for kids . In the evening you can stroll the park and go to the area where the jumper is and all the kids form the place seem to be there , my kids had a blast .I cannot stress enough if your sensitive to dogs or dog smells then this is not the place for you ,They have a leash free dog park area . Up near the delta waterway there are a few places to eat and get takeout food .You can go out here and feel like you got away from Stockton, and be home in minutes .It was fun and I will go back again .
I think for as much as you pay you should not have to deal with ants crawling on counter tops,in the cabinets, and dirt around the bathtub floor, dirty fans, and blinds and then you have to pay for sheets or you have to bring your own.then if you rent their sheets its brought in trash bags and you get to make all the beds,
False advertising on their website. Nothing is available (activities) through the week, only 1 pool & they want to over charge you because they are not in season, its not peak season. Which is why it should be at discount price especially because none of the activities are Available!! Not to mention you are charged for linens. Very disappointing for our kids. Over rated, over priced and dishonest company. Please find other things to do and stay.
We have not camped here but we have our boat dry docked - great location and good customer service. I love being able to call the dock shack and ask them to have my boat in the water at a certain time. Makes it quick and easy to load up the boat with friends and food and head off to enjoy your day!
Helpful and accommodating. I needed a campground where the kids could burn energy. This fit the bill. While their pool was closed for repairs, the bounce bubble thing and playground did the trick. Our daughter took the dog to the dog park portion so I cant comment on those facilities; however, Im sure I would have heard if they were gross. Friendly staff that were quick to address my questions/concerns.
Very disappointing only a week prior to arrival for Father’s Day weekend they informed us that the slides and the lazy pool was not open we tried to cancel and management said no refunds. campground was over crowded. This caused the two pools to be overcrowded and undermanned by one lifeguard as a poor child drowned and luckily was revived. there must be a regulation that governs how many lifeguards are required vs. how many people in the pool. (approx. 40 people in pool) thank God for those individuals that responded to the tragedy. campsite grass was overgrown. highly overpriced!
Called over a span of 2 months trying to find any cancelations to spend part 1 of my sons 6th birthday (tomorrow is the zoological society) & its Halloween weekend... There are lots of activities scheduled throughout the day do it was nice but I assumed thered be some sort of announcement preceding each one so I missed most of them due to distractions sith my boys & setting up camp. I mightve hyped up the place a little much in my head but I wasnt really thrilled about how packed it was. Supposed to be my kids first camping trip & not living in the area, didnt realize how close each lot is... Like claustrophobic for my idea of camping. Plus the noise & late night drinkers were not ideal for a 4 & 6 year old hence the late night review... Ahem...I give 5 stars to a few of the staff tho! A charming lady noticed my incessant calling & went above & beyond to make it happen so I was booked on the spot in an rv lot #200 that instead allowed my tent. Also met our escort to the campground & he made an effort on a most crazy busy day to run up & get my kids their truck or trash bags the desk dude forgot so I didnt have to walk all the way back up with my boys. Little things like that are most appreciated! Overall it was a 3 to 4 star but wish it were noise regulated a bit more with how many lots are here & this woman in the gift shop was kind of sharp for a counter person... Decent prices items there btw, not your typical wallet cringer of a gift shop. Didnt have time to check out the restaurant or food truck while here but was also disappointed in the necessity to buy a drop off fire pit. Like, what? Count on trying to roast Smores on a small public park type grill if you dont buy theirs. Beautiful views when youre not in the ditch of a campsite but its a little walk up a short hill to get there. People were social & friendly & haunted house along with numerous festive decorations from other guests were rad but also wished Id hone with a bigger group of kids so mine didnt feel awkward around such close knit groups of them playing everywhere.

2022-03-17Best vacation experience we had so far from any vacations we had elsewhere ! Totally relaxing environment, staff was very helpful and friendly when I had a question since this was our first stay. April from the front desk was super super informative and help make our stay what it was. Defiantly going to make this a family tradition every year if not more to come and relax and enjoy. I definitely recommend renting a golf cart unless you enjoy walking but it makes it easier to go to back and forth if you need to go to store on site for your needs. The wife , kids and myself would love to thank Yogi Bears Jellystone Park Camp-Resort Tower Park and see you soon.

2022-04-05Loved every minute!Ideal vacation destination. My husband and our 2 kids (4&5) truly cannot wait to return. We stayed 3 nights in the cozy cabin which was extremely spacious, clean and private! The patio area with bbq and picnic bench are also very private. My husband and I were able to relax and unwind and the kids were able to have fun and enjoy all the amazing activities and attractions! The staff here is beyond friendly and I would give 5 stars for them alone. Mini golf was huge, 18 holes! No complaints from us!

2022-06-22This is without question a five star “RV resort with a water park”. I think the lower than expected review score is from non RV day people thinking they are coming to a “water park with an RV resort”. If you’re an RV’er with high expectations and know the drill, you’ll like this place. Regarding the staff, I found them all extremely nice. The lady at the pool side concession stand even let me do an I-owe-you because it was cash only and I forgot my wallet! My kids of course loved it, ages 5, 3 and 1.

2022-05-16Pretty good place for a Family with smaller children (under the the age of 14). They should definitely include more umbrellas for tanning. Also the big water park only work on Friday evening and Saturday and we expected it to work all week. They should definitely include some sort of small gym for older children.

2022-06-06Absolutely loved our trip to Jellystone. Kids and myself enjoyed the pool area, playground, and jumping pillow most. we also were pleased at the variety events and activities hosted by staff. I would recommend anyone planning a family camping trip to explore Jellystone. You will definitely want to go back again.

2022-05-10Took my family for the weekend & was super disappointed.First we booked a cabin that had close access to the beach, paid extra to ensure we get that cabin. Which we found out after booking- the beach was closed. When trying to book with a promo code, it wouldnt work. But I couldnt get anyone to answer the phone when calling multiple times on different days and times. So I sent an email which no one ever responded to.Next- hours to the attractions arent posted anywhere & after arriving I found out the water attractions didnt open until 11.After they opened it was PACKED with people. The wifi never worked. Our TV in the cabin didnt work. Definitely not worth what we paid! Would not go back!

2022-06-24Waterpark was great, campsites need more shade, but are very flat, no worries about leveling your rig. Dont leave food outside very large cockroaches at night. Sewer hookups work great and electric is great also. Only problem we had was one maintenance guy, big guy with a ball cap and black sun glasses and Facial hair was a jerk for no reason. Could use some customer support training.

2022-06-25Jellystone, Lodi is a great vacation spot for the family. The kids stayed entertained the whole time. The water park is more than just water slides and keeps the kids happy all day. The camp sites are clean. For how large the park is the wifi works. We had a few bumps in the road at check in but management and customer service was happy to find solutions and correct any issues. All in all, we had a great stay and will be coming back.

2022-05-30Love jelly stone!! It’s a kids paradise. So many fun things to do. Golf cart rentals to get around which is nice cause the park is huge. The only thing is BRING YOUR ALLERGY medicine because there’s so many trees and I was having an allergy attack from hell. We has to cut our trip short because I was so miserable. Lesson learned.

2022-05-04My experience at this place was horrible. I booked a deluxe cabin plus for 3 days and 2 nights at Yogi Bears Jellystone Park. A day before going there I got a voicemail from one of there staff member (Jennifer) informing me that PG&E will be doing work at vacinty but not to worry because it wont affect the campsite. The next day not even 20 hours after checking in the internet goes out. Tried calling the front desk, no answered. When I finally track down a manager she told me that there system is down. This means I cant rent or do any other activities in the campsite that requires a computer transaction. Like renting a golfcart. An hour later I was told that the swimming pool will also be close for the rest of the day because there is no electricity. At this point I was confuse because I was told that PG&E project will not affect the campsite.I decided to leave the site the same day because my kids are getting irritated and bored.I asked for a refund but the only got refunded less than half of what I paid for. When I demanded a full refund, because I was lied to they were quick to blame PG&E. I couldnt believe what I was hearing. They show no concern for customer satisfaction and no accountability for what happened. When I asked why they didnt take any precautions to prevent the power outage. I was rudely told that I shouldve taken precautions. No Im not making this up. One of there staff members (Jennifer) told me that I shouldve taken precautions as if I have control over the power grid of there campsite. After several attempted to explain my grievance and being constantly interrupted mid sentence. The Customer Service Manger (April) said that she will relay my complains to her manager. She said I should get a response with 24 hours. It has been 4 days no email, no phone call, no voicemail, not even a missed call.At this point Im not even hoping to get the rest of my money back. I just want to inform future consumer of my experience. Im definitely not going back to this place. Also the hot tub water is dirty and doesnt get hot. Good luck navigating the controls (see picture). The control buttons has no labels.
