Upon entering the store it was clean and organized the church music was playing however the atmosphere was cold and unwelcoming no one greeted none of the customers when asked someone for assistance it was a point and its over in that section total turn off I had to go out to the car and get my daughter to help once she entered she felt the same vibes so she suggested another store in Culver city and we left.
Always a pleasure to come into this store. Good music is playing. Everyone from patrons and staff alike, are pleasant, friendly and courteous. And the selection is vast. If you cant find what youre looking for here, it probably doesnt exist.

The atmosphere was very warm and pleasant. The staff was helpful and informative. The staff was very knowledgeable about thier products in the store.
I was greeted with by a kindred Spirit. I found everything that I was looking for. My visit was very peaceful and pleasant while I shopped throughout store. Loved this bookstore - as a collector of books, but a lifestyle of a student, this was the perfect store for me. Found copies of Eliot from 1927 for only $8, and the fun of the squeaking floorboards and smell of old paper is all complementary. Loved it!

Really like this bookstore. I agree with previous reviewers sentiments that while this is a gay-friendly store, it is by no means a gay bookstore. Dont be afraid to check it out- they carry a lot of local authors, and some great indie stuff too.

I wish there was more inventory but Im really glad its still in business since so many Christian bookstores are closed. The staff is helpful and gracious, and the store is easy to navigate and well organized. Although the store is dark inside and could use updating, I understand that times are hard. I just wish I could afford to pay for that.
Wonderful little neighborhood bookstore with a (suprisingly) huge selection. It might look small from the outside, but dont be fooled. Rarely have I gone into this place without finding what I need or the employees being able to get ahold of it for me.There childrens selection, I second, is amazing!
Its okay. Placed Special order over a month (February 7, 2019)ago no one called to advise if items were in or a problem with order. I called to inquire was advised order was placed. Its Friday, March 29, 2019 n I havent heard from them. Paid a deposit. Dont reccomend n will no longer do business there.

This place is so peaceful and breath taking! There is a path which leads to a store, and if you continue on the path walking behind the store, is the tranquil Garden which has many unique and beautiful things for sale, including candles, meditation Cds and garden decor. The store is worth a visit as well, and has books, jewelry, incense, home decor, etc.

2022-07-12I live in Long Beach California. I travel to this business because most christian book store are out of business. This business prices are very responsible and there are many books, bibles etc. to choose from. Customer service is amazing. Ill continue to go back as long as theyre open for business. Also theres plenty of parking! ,😊

2021-04-15I went there looking for items to make shadow boxes for my family due to my nephews death. I was looking for a Bible and Crosses. The gentleman that I asked said that they had only lapel pins for Cross. But then he so graciously said, Why dont you go to Michaels Crafts? No kidding, thats where I purchased the shadow boxes. I thought about inquiring if I could order then but why when hes basically sent his $$ out the door because I did need other items.
