WinCo has great flexible hours, good prices and good variety of items. Be ready to bag your own stuff and battle for parking. Long lines because everyone is trying to save money. The only areas they could improve are customer service, telephone service, like when youre calling to ask a question they hang the phone up in your face, Im not hearing impaired but my phone is on RTT and they hang up every time I call, like they dont even try to get the call. Returning things after purchase is a hassle, even if you have a receipt, this should not be a surprise that you have to return some food items for not being fresh. I purchase most of my meat and breads from Aldi for this reason. Another star reduced is for how they treat you when using WIC, they are terrible none of staff is trained, wrong labels, and unlabeled/mislabeled WIC items, also the system they use is not properly synced to the WIC app, WIC app scanner says yes but store register and employee says no.
Love shopping at this market when I go out of town to visit relatives near Riverside. They have an extensive selection of grocery items. I especially love that this store has a bulk section that you can get spices, candies, nuts, cereal, pastas, rices, baking mixes and an assortment of baking chocolates, dries fruits, dog food and many more! You can get as little or as much a you want! However, I am not a fan that in this day with Covid still spreading fast and widely, several people are not wearing masks nor is it being inforced to put them on.🥺
Deli counter ridiculous. There were no pre-made subs or salads. Tried asking employees behind the counter if they could make me a sub at 9am on Saturday. Four employees behind the counter ignored me and kept talking about their experiences from the night before. Employees stated they couldnt because they had a lot of pre orders, even though they were standing back in the corner and not doing anything.
If youre on a budget try WinCo Foods for your groceries. You will get the same great quality name brand foods generally at a noticeable lower price than many of the other grocers out there. They have an interesting boat food section where you can find Candy nuts cranes and similar items at low prices. This is my go-to place for grocery shopping. This is a full size grocery store with all the amenities the other grocers offer. One of my favorite things about WinCo foods that I like is that their stores remain open 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.
Occasionally there were times when youd have to inspect your produce as the store tried selling their stale products. The quality overall of this location has steadily gone downhill and just hit rock bottom. Yeah you got lazy workers and you can deal with it. Last week a fight broke off in the afternoon inside the store by the cash registers.Today was the last straw for me. Not only did the cashier give me big attitude over nothing but I was also inconvenienced by having to wait on my items as the cashier didnt place my items on the available conveyor belt available so I had to wait on the customer infront of me to finish bagging his items. This location needs to improve the quality of their employees.
Store is large and prices are great! Wish people were a bit more courteous. Customer service is a bit lacking. I had an employee almost walk into me. Ive had employees pause while checking me out, to talk about going on break. Maybe management is not staffing to accommodate breaks?Other than all of that I do like the store and enjoy the selection of deli pre-made dishes. If you are solo you can eat well, without having to microwave every meal.
My favorite thing about this store is that it is open 24/7. Something to consider is that you can only pay with cash or debit card. The prices are good and for some items they even have signs that compares prices with other stores. Another plus is that its super close to Costco, you can get your gas, bulk and complete your shopping at WinCo.
The produce was good, selection of product was good and plenty of everything. The reason I gave a 4 instead of a 5, is for one reason. I took my handicapped mother shopping there and we went to a line that was designated for the handicapped. Me thinking this way they could help my mom, while I did my own stuff. Nope thats not what happened at all. I put all her groceries up and she tried to help with a few things as she could, then I had to put my groceries up. My mom paid for her groceries. I thought for sure they would at least bag her things, but nope, not even that. I had to get her items out of the cart, put them up and bag her stuff, as well as doing all my own. The lady at the register just kept ringing people up one after the other. I had people waiting beside me, to bag their items, as there was another person on the other side bagging her items. She was trying to get people through her line as fast as she could it seemed because, I guess I wasnt bagging my mothers groceries I would say, well over $200 and mine which was about half of hers the lady at the register started making the conveyor belt move and started smashing some of the items still on there, I havent yet bagged. I cant speak for my mom, but as for myself, I dont think I will go back, unless it just taking her to do her shopping. I wont buy anything again. It is too much when you have to do more than one persons groceries.
I like how varied the store it. Except, in the fruits department. There are so many fruits that they can bring in but we are limited to the classic, apples, pears, bananas and kiwis. The bathrooms are dirty and smelly. Im going to be buying from there but the store needs to be cleaner.
Best place to go its similar a mini Costco but no membership needed and whats even better is its 24 hours so you can beat the shopping traffic by shopping late night or in the middle of the night if you want which I have done many times and its much quieter and faster than daytime shopping
Im not a fan of Winco - must be an LA thing, BUT the produce staff has changed my mind. Ive recently started juicing and I needed a grocery store that could help and supply bulk products for my once a week purchases. Jeff and Chantry have been a HUGE help, along with the rest of the produce staff. Certainly some of the most helpful and kind people Ive interacted with when grabbing groceries. The layout of the store is consistent and although I mainly just come for produce its pretty easy to find random items through out the store. The produce is always fresh and I can pretty much grab everything I need for fresh and great prices. Solid location, solid produce staff.
I shop weekly at Winco on Day Street. I go for the deals not for the service. But today...I had the best cashier ever help me. ESTEVAN! He kept his composure, service with a smile, and very patient during a rush in the store. Thank you for your service Estevan, you didnt go un-noticed.
Omg I just love this place so much i hate coming here because i go for one thing and buy the entire store 😁 they have everything I need! It doesnt have the cheapest prices but it does have some goodies that are lower price. Winco brand is good I have no complaints when Ive substituted brand name for it since brand. Only bad thing I can say is at the self checkout the employees watching you are rude. All the other cashiers are polite but them.
I went here for a grocery run since I was in the area. They have great prices somethings cheaper than Walmart. It was pretty crowded in the store. I really wanted gumbo base which they did not have. They did have chicken andouille sausage. I wanted some of their oven roasted chicken but the wait was long. Their chicken is pretty good.
I love it there, I get off work and head there about 5am, they are finishing stocking so the shelves are full and not many people in there I can get in and out quickly and go home and go to bed..lolOh and my favorite cashier Amelia is a sweetheart, very nice lady who is there most days I go in.
Extremely economical. I use to spent $250+ at Ralphs, maxi foods, etc, i get almost the same things and only spend about $175 now. There steak prices beat every other store hands down. 1.5 steaks two for under $11, where as Ralphs, you will pay $20-$30 for two... Check it out for yourself.
This was my first time to shop here and I wish I had come here sooner. This is a fantastic grocery store! The prices are good and the selection is the best Ive seen for a very long time. There is such a variety of everything a person , or family, could need. Their customer service is second to none, the employees were friendly and helpful even at 2:30 am Sunday morning. My wife and I will be shopping here from now on, whatever you need from a grocery store you can find it here and for a bargain price. I came here because the store was open late but found my go to store for all my grocery needs.
I never really considered leaving reviews for grocery stores but Marnisha has such exceptional customer service skills. I felt the need to make sure I leave a review just saying thank you for always having a smile on your face. It doesnt matter how long the line or how many groceries. She just seems to always have a positive attitude. Its very refreshing.
This was my 1st time shopping at WinCo. I was surprised on how large and the amount of merchandise that is available. The store is very clean and always well stocked. I was also surprised on the amount of customer service personal walking around offering help and always polite and with a smile. Prices are competive. The store was busy and the lines went fast. Great store and experience.
The workers there are really friendly and helpful! I love being able to purchase items from the bulk bins. Its great to be able to get fresh pressed almond butter and reasonably priced agave nectar from the dispensary! They have a great selection of spices, nuts, dried fruit and even candy! I really loved going to the Loma Linda market but since Ive moved this WinCo has been a welcomed substitute. I highly recommend if you havent been to a WinCo yet to check it out!
How can you complain about anyplace OPEN 24-7-365!?!?! Anything The 0330 Munchie Monster have you craving, you can find here!!!! Plus things you really dont need but, Hey why not?!?!? Nevermind the day, hour, or weather....... You can get your Foodie Fix fixed here!!!!So eat well, and dine sufficiently!!!!!
None of the seafood was out and unthawed. The lady was literally setting up as the line grew and moved with no sense of urgency. After she helped one person she started with the display again with no attentions to the line. There should always be more than on person in that department
Only grocery store open 24 hours pre, post AND midst the pandemic . Kind, efficient and professional workers clean store guarantee you go for one thing and few hours later have a baskets full. Price range is much better than most grocery stores without lacking in quality
Staff is always super friendly, their produce is always great, and their isles are always stocked, even now during this crazy pandemic were going through, theyve kept everything organized and clean for customers to have a great shopping experience. Thank you for staying open and maintaining everything easily accessible!!
Overall a good grocery store. They offer a wide variety of items at lower prices than most other competing stores. Friendly cashiers and clean store. The only advice I would offer is to avoid going full grocery shopping after 10pm. 3rd shift workers start to bring pallets and carts out to restock. Leaving everything in the middle of the aisles leads to difficulty maneuvering the shopping cart around boxes and packages.
I love buckwheat pankcakes, unfortunately, I do not find the mix here often. Bit, as for friendly service and great prices on family groceries..Winco is my go to place.I am also a union centered guy but, they are not union; however, it is employee owned which means you have more of a say so. It gets a 4 buecause it is worth it overall. And free tirkeys for thanks giving...Who doesnt like free?!!
WinCo has amazing prices but this store is usually somewhat messy. I dont necessarily blame the staff or the management, but I will see some of the patrons who take meat from the refrigerated section and later they realize that they dont want to buy it and they put it in the magazine section rather than returning the package meat to the refrigerated section. I find this Behavior absolutely repulsive. Ive seen this happened numerous times where some individuals may get fresh produce and put it in the most bizarre places. Thus it is not necessarily the most welcoming atmosphere
I really like Winco for their prices. The produce is great and you can get in and out fast. I like the whole idea of the staff having ownership in the company. I dont like the fact that the company is non-union. I also have some problems with the fact they dont take credit cards. Sometimes when people are in a jam they rely on the credit card.
This is my favorite grocery store to shop at. not only do they have everything that you need, but will always have the lowest prices in comparison to Walmart, target, Food 4 Less, etc. Well also love about Winco is that they have a food court which they sell things like pizza sandwiches drinks etc. They also have a bakery with fresh Good, sometimes they have sushi sandwiches and eating rotisserie chicken in the back towards the deli area
Good prices, friendly, helpful employees &prices r always as labeled.Lines get long suddenly & they never have a proper number of registers open. Check the breads well, check your receipt prices on anything they have to weight. I paid for 40 lbs of cabbage about 2 years ago when I got around 4 lbs
I was very happy with my experience today. I never have to go to the customer service counter but lost my card. The young lady helped me right away it is so quick and then I remember when I first signed up I was supposed to get a rotisserie chicken for some reason she did not see it on the card but she took good care of me thank you for my experience Im glad I change from Costco! Kandie Rayne
Its fine, the store is like any other rag tag groceries store not known so much for their quality as they are know for their prices and this would be max a four star place anyways but MAN.....the feeling carts at this place are in desperate need of maintenance. One wiggles this way the other that way, one pulls to the left, another is bent out of shape like it was in a car accident. And the ones I hate the most are the ones that feel like they hit a pot holes every ten seconds of pushing it. Soooooo annoying...!!!!
My go to store. Ever since Ive moved to Moval, Ive been going here because of their great selection on a variety of products and how inexpensive they are compared to other stores. AND they have a bulk section including nuts, pasta/rice, candy, dog treats, you can make ur own nut butter and so much more!!!
First time going here and I LOVED it! Just be cautious, they do not take credit. (I found this out the hard way) Even though I had to call my bank in order to move funds around, the staff was VERY friendly and said it wasnt an issue at all. The prices were wonderful and I would definitely recommend it to anyone! :D
Really like everything here (fruits are a little iffy) and the brocolli salad is $2 cheaper per pound compared to other places. I only have 1 complaint and its more to do with the city compared to the store, but man there are shopping carts all over the parking lot, the sidewalk, and even the store! Also, I really like one of the guys that works at self checkout. Hes a bigger, older guy, who looks like Craig from malcom in the middle
I have been going here a few years because I love their prices and get the best deals... but I will say everytime is has been a customer service issue.. its like they hire people that are extremely rude and act like they hate their jobs... for one Ive worked customer service for the last 5 years it is my passion and it kills me to see how bad these employees treat people on a day to day basis... now I walk in their with my gaurd on and as a customer it should never be that way!!! You should always want your people to come back and shop not remember you as a bad experience!!
They have a nice selection of everything. Some of the prices are a little more than at other places. She just got to know what you want. As for checking out, if you use the self-checkout.... Make sure that you can do it because the guy that stands there is totally worthless. You cant scan something and in there if you dont want it he cant take it off he has to call his manager in the manager has to come over and do it. Kind of crazy I dont even know what hes there for. But other than that you can find some good Bargains sometimes here
I love this store!BUT... Of course their is always that one employee who wants to ruin it. Im Im line in the about 15 items lane and as up to pay the cashier tells me I need to go to another lane because I had more than 15 items!!!!!! I HAD 19 items. If its strictly 15 items or less they should specify that and not put about 15 items. I could not believe he made me put all my stuff back Im my shopping cart and move to another lane!!!!! This is beyond rude. They should really train those certain employees better with their customer service.
WinCos Food is good it has a very big variety and they are the cheapest store around I get my cat litter there cuz its cheaper than any place its name brand and I always try to shop there because they have the selection that I want like vanilla seltzer water from New York Seltzer
Winco has excellent prices. Their produce can be hit or miss. Their meat department isnt especially cheap or great. I love their bulk section. They also have a lot of specialty foods. This is where I shop for most of my groceries. The lines are usually longer so for me it isnt worth a quick trip for a few items. They are open 24/7 too.
I was impressed on how on top the Moreno valley store was with keeping social distancing and safety from contamination with COVID but today when I visited I was disappointed that the employees were not masked, not even the ones working in bakery. When I questioned it I was told it was optional.
I love Winco...I shop there every week but today I had a bad experience with a cashier named Lorie. I shop every week for myself and for a 98 grandpa that I care for. So I pay separate everytime with different cards as well. So I paid for my stuff today and got $100 cash back. But when I paid for grandpa, DIFFERENT TRANSACTION/CARD and ask for $40 back this cashier Lorie was very rude and refused to give me grandpas $40 cash back even tho I explained to her I was doing grocery shopping for somebody else and paying with a different card...different transaction! I understand and know that every store has a cash back limit...but NEVER have I had a problem getting more than $100 cash back with 2 different transactions 2 different cards!!!
Inventory is great4🌟🌟🌟⭐🌠Tried Reaching a orange juicethough there was a rack of Ice Creams that were left out Im pretty sure not intentionally I posted a image HAVE TO MENTION BECAUSE anything could have happened to anyone. No they were Not melted not spilled though just concerned for the safety purposes & health issues of future customers if & when they were actually stocked to be refrozen .?..

2022-05-16HORRIBLE customer service . Nothing but young kids working here who are completely NOT KNOWLEDGE about their department. Its never busy here because people dont want to shop here. Parking lot never full, lines never long. Why? Because people are at Costco and target for better customer service and more knowledgeable employees.

2022-04-03First time shopping here, it is a huge clean store with literally everything you could ever want to buy at a grocery store - everything is definitely discounted from a regular store price. There were 2 cons of this store: 1) they dont accept ANY credit card which is insane to me - only debit cards and cash are accepted 2) you have to bring a shopping cart in from the parking lot because they cannot keep up with restocking them inside the entrance

2022-02-10This is my go-to place for grocery shopping. This is a full size grocery store with all the amenities.

2020-10-14Inexpensive box store with almost everything imaginable but with a 30% or greater savings on most items. Great alternative place to shop if you dont want to 50 boxes of soap, this place has variety. Windows has kept the prices lower than the competition to pass the savings to the consumer.

2022-03-22They have an interesting boat food section where you can find Candy nuts cranes and similar items at low prices. Love to shop here.

2022-05-16I love WINCO. I love your selection of meats, nuts and pastries. One bit of advice. You need to start to accept payment by credit card.

2021-06-20Update 6/20/21: The Winco bulk bins are back!! Loving it!One reason that I like Winco is that they’re pretty consistent in terms of their store layout. You can always find what you need when you need it, and that doesn’t seem to change much. It’s also nice that the stores that I’m familiar with—specifically Moreno Valley and Apple Valley—are laid out almost exactly the same.

2022-05-21Amazing tri tip roast today, under $5/lb. Clean store, friendly service staff, great prices
