The service was great. The front desk was a detailed on what she was telling me. The radiologist made sure that I was comfortable. For an example, she made sure she helped me on to the bed of the MRI and put a pillow for my kneecaps making sure I was comfortable. When she put me into the MRI she told me if I wanted a blanket and I said yes. She gave me a good directions what to do and expect. Overall, great experience.
I had x-rays and an ultrasound done. I ended up doing it all in one day to avoid an extra co-pay.X-rays are downstairs, and ladies in the office are so nice! I didnt have to wait long, and the x-ray tech was really nice and professional. Overall great experience.Ultrasound was upstairs, right outside the elevator. The receptionist was very polite, the waiting room was spacious and comfortable. I was taken back right away by the nicest ultrasound tech ever. His smile and personality were so comforting. He made the whole process easy.. I ended up being in the room for about 45 minutes, so I know he saw something that I wouldnt even know to look for, but he kept up the positivity and made sure I was always comfortable.I would definitely recommend this place!
The Irvine location was easy to get to right off the freeway. Lots of open parking. Nice, quiet office on the first floor. Technician was delightful. Made a complicated procedure comfortable as possible. Also, the appointment scheduler is very nice and accommodating. Overall was a smooth, stress free experience. Thank you!
We arrived early as we had been warned there would likely be a line for walk-ins. The office opened a little late, about 5 minutes; we were first in line. We completed paperwork and waited 40 minutes to be called back. As we waited the waiting room filled with 8 other people. No social distancing was implemented and one man waited with his mask pulled down; he was not corrected. My daughter was well cared for and we received the services we had come for. I was surprised that there seemed to be no procedural changes to protect patients and staff while waiting.
I went for an ultrasound the other day i was very nervous to even get the procedure done, When i got their i felt very welcome was greeted right as i walked threw the door, front office young lady i believe her name is Maricela was so sweet and polite and made the checking in process easy and sweet! not to mention the waiting room is big and comfortable. Got called back within a couple minutes of sitting down and the tech Sherrin was super nice! i will definitely be coming back here, highly recommend this location
I booked an early appointment thinking I wouldn’t have to wait. They asked me to arrive 20 minutes early for paperwork, which I did. By the time they called me I had been waiting at least 45 minutes, which was a bit frustrating. The technician was very good and I have no complaints about the procedure except that the table was extremely uncomfortable. I’m a little bony and laying on my side without any real padding is super uncomfortable. Overall I’d say 3 star experience.
I am impressed by the staff Tyson R.He is caring and professional. He put my health safety first and even called my podiatrist to seek clarification when he noticed the X-ray exam ordered by the podiatrist may have been challenging for my condition. I appreciated his attention to keep me safe.I’m amazed to find such a caring health professional when most I’ve experienced are about getting through each patient as quickly as they can. Thank you Tyson for your superb service!
Had to wait around 10 minutes. All staff was masked and hand sanitizer was made available. Staff was friendly and x-ray was quick. Only a few people in waiting room. Also, they had plexiglass between reception area and waiting room. They were able to hand me my disc pretty quickly.
Staff are kind, competent and well versed in their professions. They take care to make you comfortable while guiding you through the procedures confidently. I am very lucky to have had everyone from the front office administrators to the technicians and medical professionals treat me and take me through my various procedures.
The technician and the person at the reception were just wonderful. I had a late appointment at night and couldn’t find the facility. The gentleman at the check in called me to direct me as I was very close & the technician came out to let me in. From then onwards they were exceptionally professional and at the same time so kind and considerate. As I’m claustrophobic the technician understood so well & helped me through the entire MRI process in such a caring & thoughtful manner. My thanks & appreciation to both of them.
Excellent professional treatment from the receptionist to the professional staff performing the ultrasound examination. Lets face it these kinds of exams can be somewhat embarrassing. The staff at this location made me feel comfortable. She completed the work quickly and surprised me when later that day I received a telephone consultation from my doctor informing me of the results of the examination. This is my second time visiting this facility. The first visit was equally professional. I would recommend service from this location without reservation.
Overall, it was a good experience. They helped me out when I didn’t have my insurance number and were able to get it from my primary doctor. I had a long wait, as I was a walk-in patient and they tried to get me a shorter one at another office. I liked the fact that they were trying to expedite my service. The X-ray tech. was kind and courteous. He made the experience quick and painless .One thing I disliked was that they gave me a bill and then increased the amount shortly after. It was what the doctor ordered and they didn’t do it on purpose, but it made me pretty mad when my bill was almost doubled.Otherwise, it was a good visit to the doctors.
My MRI was a very Fast and easy check in during all this crazy COVID stuff. I made the mistake of being there 65mins early. The appointment ahead of me had not arrived yet so they took me in and my MRI for my shoulder was done in 15mins possibly less. The tech was super kind and efficient. She made sure I was comfortable, and made the whole thing super easy.
I had brought my 90-year old mother for a bone density test to the office. We had a very positive experience. The office is run very professionally. The lady at the front desk was very pleasant and explained and answered our questions well. She was very kind and gentle with my mother and helped her out to the exam room. All staff worked efficiently and were polite and professional.
I got here to get a chest xray. At 1230. There was a note posted on the door they were at lunch until 12:45.No one opened the door until 1pm.The receptionist took my drivers lic & insurance card. Holding on to them for 10 minutes. Mind you no one was in the waiting room except me.The receptionist was on a personal call & stated she doesnt make enough money at her job. How professional was that?.. Hire new receptionist so she can make more money elsewhere and have a more pleasant receptionist thats not rude.Wish I didnt have to go here. I had no choice unfortunately. If I did have a choice I wouldnt. So unpleasant and unprofessional.
My first time at this facility, but liked the friendly atmosphere, employees were professional but made me feel at ease. Facility was clean, their Covid-19 procedures and measures well organized, I would definitely come back in the future and recommend to anyone trying to schedule an imaging or any other procedure related.
Walked in today without an appointment for X-rays.Was greeted by friendly and professional receptionist. Only 10 minutes after I signed all the forms I was called in to see the technician. Technician was very polite and knowledgeable. The whole process took about 20 minutes.
It was good and fast, but I noticed the receptionist being very lazy with her mask wearing. She pulled it up quickly when I came into the room, so I presume she didn’t have it on before I stepped in. Then when I was leaving she had it completely off, and there was even another patient in the lobby. Especially considering how COVID-19 is possibly airborne and the particles linger in the air inside buildings, that is quite unsafe for a medical facility.
The staff are very nice. The office is nice looking, clean and quiet. The TV in the lobby is on low so as not to bother others who would rather read a book or their phone. My time there was just under an hour, which could have been shorter if I had been taken back at the time of my appointment.
My visit went very smoothly. I arrived early to complete paperwork and the ladies behind the desk who greeted me were friendly and clearly explained the paperwork. The facility was clean and nicely decorated. My ultrasound tech was pleasant and I have no complaints about my visit today.
The staff were very pleasant to deal with and made every effort to make me comfortable. There was a mix up with the appointment time but they resolved it immediately and were able to see me right away. It wasnt the staffs fault but I very much appreciated their help and being able to accommodate me.
Scheduling my appointment was pretty simple. They searched around my area and recommended me a location closer to where I live. They were also very informative and made sure I understood my costs up front so I wouldnt be surprised on the day of my appointment. On the morning of my appointment they called to remind me and give me directions on how to get into the building since it was a weekend appointment. It was a pretty quick check in process and the technician was nice. After I was done they gave me instructions on getting my results online as well as a CD.
The technician doing my ultrasound was fantastic. The office staff however was very unorganized and not helpful every time I had to deal with them. I got rescheduled several times bc of their error. Told the wrong prep instructions for my apt and when I finally got to my apt they had an almost year old order for the wrong procedure Instead of my current doctors orders. The office just didnt have it together and English hard to understand as well. Very frustrating.
Clean and visually pleasing environment. Front desk reception was warm and professional. Reasonable amount of wait time; I had to fill out first time paperwork. My imaging technician was friendly and made the experience very pleasant. She was also informative at explaining basic information about the process. I’m quite pleased.
I got lost on the way. The receptionist called me and directed me where to go. Very courteous staff even though I was a little late. Very clean facility and easy, breezy-in and out quickly. I had a 9 pm appt. I love going later because there’s no wait and no traffic getting there
Whole staff was helpful & kind. Took time to explain why schedule was running kinda late. They were really thorough, as far as I’m concerned, in their examinations. After additional mammogram I still needed ultrasound & was really given a very thorough examination. Was a good experience! Thank you!
Had a CT scan this morning and though not pleasant, was a very positive experience overall. Arrived early and was taken in after only a few minutes for the procedure. The technician was upbeat and joking the entire time. He made sure I was comfortable and reassured me with any questions answered. I have small veins, so he was very cautious, slow and careful inserting the IV. I was walking out the door within two minutes of my original appointment time. Very happy with my experience here
Best radiology center!!! Youll always get the best care. Starting with Stephanie , Christina & Natasha at the front desk. Theyre so easy to talk, professional and best of all caring. They always make sure you get an appointment that fits your schedule. The MA tech Zach is super kind and sweet . He always make sure youre comfortable while doing your exam and he explains everything to you so you dont feel scared. I work in the medical field and I always send my patients to this location for any radiology needs because I know this team always does the best job. Thank you guys so much for everything you do.-Bella
This is my first pregnancy. They are strictly business. Went in for my 20 week ultra sound and did not get clear pictures of my baby when that was the only thing I was looking forward to. She went through it very quickly and didn’t show much compassion. Although the front desk ladies were very kind and sweet. I do believe Hoag is a good hospital but unfortunately my experience wasn’t when I was expecting.
I have used West Coast Radiology before and would say I somewhat dreaded coming. Today was a 180. The staff’s professionalism was stellar from the front desk to the technicians. I arrived on time for my appointment and was seen in a timely manner which also made today’s visit pleasant. Thank you for a friendly, professional, caring staff.
Best MRI experience I had! The technician was so friendly and explained everything she was getting ready to do. I was a little nervous cause I’ve heard stories about having an MRI done but honesty I had a peaceful experience. Thank you for taking such good care of me!!
First visit: very difficult to find. Poor signage. While waiting for an hour, everyone but 1 person was having difficulty finding where they were going. After receptionist finally verified printed but unsigned order, Rather than telling me right away, I waited additional 15-20 minutes to be told that test would take 1 1/2 hrs so not enough time left. I had to come back another day! (I live 1 1/2 hrs away). Second visit went well. Tech very nice. Test only took 45 minutes not 1 1/2 hrs!
Quick and efficient. The front office personnel were personable and answered my questions. My only quibble is that they had me fill out some forms that could have been done on-line prior to my arrival, and that could have been printed out for me to sign when I arrived. The MRI tech was equally quick and efficient.
The place is really nice. However, what really made this experience a wonderful one was the radiology technician. I wished I wouldve written her name down. She was very kind, empathetic, knowledgeable and overall very sweet. I told her when I left that she had made my day by being so kind. I give her 5 stars. Hopefully she gets to see this review. If you do, please know that the medical industry needs more people like you. THANK YOU and God bless you.
This team is great😁! - I went to the wrong address and they still were able to Accommodate me back in to my original appointment. Definitely get there 15 minutes early.Cons:No visual clock in the MRI unitNeeds noise cancellation headphones -Needs to say exit on one of the doors Especially when you’re disoriented
I thought the staff was very friendly and courteous and efficient. They were even kind enough to take me early so I could get on with my day. The radiologist was kind and made me very comfortable. It was very difficult as it was my first time there, and now that I know theyll be no issues if I ever have to go back
Had a great experience. They had after work appointments and were on time. The facility is beautiful and all of the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. My results will be sent to my Doctor in 2-3 business days after the radiologist creates the report. Hopefully they find nothing wrong.
My first time here, the office was really easy to find. I was greeted by the front desk personal right away. I was a little early for my appt and while waiting, I was offered to sign up online to view my test results. My ultrasound tech was really friendly, she was quick and I was in and out of there in no time.
The waiting room was a bit chaotic, but with all the people they got us through without too much delay . The staff that handled the mammogram and on the ultrasound did a very professional job. Ive been here a few times over the past years because I have confidence that they are on top of things and know what they are doing. I would recommend them.
Waiting time was short. Receptionist was pleasant and very helpful in providing info on wait time. All images are online and accessible with an account. The only thing I didnt like is that unlike other facilities, this place collects your deductible immediately, rather than sending you a bill after billing insurance.
I arrived 30 minutes ahead of my appointment time as requested. I sat waiting for an hour and 15 minutes. When I finally got into the exam room, the technician had to “re-boot” the machine which took several minutes. All told I was at your Irvine location for close to two hours for a 3-d mammogram. The staff were all nice but the wait time was unacceptable.
I was very upset when I arrived because my Dr’s office had given me an incorrect address causing me to be late to my appointment. It wasn’t the girl behind the desks fault but she was very understanding and compassionate. She didn’t say anything about me being late, just gave me some paperwork and said they would be with me shortly. This doesn’t seem like much but to me it turned my frustrated day around. I didn’t get her name but I would like to thank her.
Wonderful experience! Everyone was so nice and helpful. A guard even walked me inside the building and over to the next building. The receptionist was polite and helpful as well. The radiologist was very nice and explained everything he was doing, so I would feel at the ease.
Very good peofessional staffs. They are very kind and considerate too to the mother of 4 children who was trying to take care and contain the 4 boys while waiting for her turn to be seen. Two thumbs up to Zachary, the MRI technician that did my test. Respectful and caring. Very professional in all aspect before during and after the test. Thank you West Coast Radiology for having people like Zachary.
The office was running Right on Schedule.Love that! Rare these days.Zack was my Radiologist. He was great at making sure you are doingokay & Comfortable. He is Very Fast Efficient.Front office Was Nice. All around a great experience! Nice to be able to say that in today’s Healthcare system.Margo R.
I was grateful a confirmation reminder was sent day prior. However, information with address was the incorrect suite number. As entered the suite the receptionist was on the phone. I waited patiently . Minutes go by once she is off the phone, still no aknowledgement, so I took a sit. If I was perfectly healthy it would have no big deal. However, to me it was. First impression, not positive and I will request another facility.
The staff at West Coast Radiology were very friendly. My appointment was started on time. They were comfortable answering my questions. They rechecked my Dr’s order to make sure they were assessing the right area; then made a correction. They are very accommodating I was truly tmpressed.
Staff was very professional and caring Ann Marie went above and beyond to make it a pleasant experience. Technician was professional and courteous Dr Tang was excellent and got the results to my primary dr quickly. Although it was Christmas eve no one was making us feel rushed
Checked website. Said x-rays were no appointment neccessary. Confirmed hours on website. Called phone number to verify (ofcourse it was a time-wasting recording with no pertinent information). Drove all the way there, since other closer locations were temporarily closed due to covid, or combining with other locations. Arrived and theres a paper sign on the door stating that theyre no longer doing x-rays at this location. Efficiency at its finest.
Probably the best medical office experience Ive ever had. I came in with a stroller and broken toddler (needing xrays) and instead of making me get up back and forth for paper work and signatures the office assistant came to me. It meant a lot, and everything went by quickly!
Today was my 2nd time at West Coast Radiology. Both times, I was greeted immediately and asked my information to get processed. My wait time was quick and extremely reasonable. The technicians are amazing, they are so sweet and talk you through what they are doing. My specific exams were a little uncomfortable but they kept me laughing and happy through the whole thing, both times, and I barely even noticed the time going by. The offices are clean and pleasant and the parking is great. I cant recommend them highly enough.
I was impress by the technician , she was prompt, conducted herself in a very professional manner. I asked several questions about the test, since I hadn’t had it done before. She gave me confidence in knowing I was dealing with the right person.look forward to u sing you folks again.
Frustrating to get hung up on twice when trying to inform them that I blew my tires and I would be late Just gave up and showed up late. Luckily I had a very nice technician and the front office gal was polite. Nice comfortable office. Not sure Id return if getting a live person on the phone is such a challenge.
The personnel are very nice. The forms are pre-printed for patient convenience. I was early for my appointment and I was seen before my appointed time, as well. My tech, Kaylee (sp) is wonderful. I was totally relaxed. The results were promised in three business days. The results were delivered promptly in two business days, both to my primary and to my ENT, as requested. I am very pleased with my experience.
Everything is perfect.Except the appointment procedure, there is a Gentlemen there who asks many obvious and unnecessary questions that dose not have to do anything with getting appointment !For example he asked my home address but later he was sending me to Anaheim office for test !It took him over ten minutes to set appointment for me.I had same experience with him last year too.
This location is amazing, it is very conviniently located on the first floor of Hoag. It was my first time getting an MRI done, I didnt know what to expect but the staff made sure that I was at ease. The receptionist has such a positive and friendly attitude. This place was good vibes,,, I wont be going anywhere else for radiology.
Everything about the ultrasound I had here was fine. The only negative was the long wait to be seen. I was told to arrive at 10:10 for my 10:20 appointment. I arrived on time but was not taken back for the ultrasound until approximately 10 :45. I was the only one in the waiting room most of the time. There was never more then 1 other person. No one ever explained or apologized for the long wait.
Reception upon arrival was non-existent.After 9 minutes a receptionist showed and asked if I had an appointment.I confirmed my name and appointment time.I was given forms to fill out.I sensed an attitude from the receptionist.especially when she indicated I was late.Had someone been present when I arrived,I could of easily filled the forms out in 9 minutes prior to my scheduled procedure. There was no bell or indicator that I arrived either.I then sat down in the waiting area.I never received a friendly smile from this individual during our entire interaction. Both arriving and departing. No patient or appointment sign in sheet at the front reception counter either. The MRI technicians were terrific.Friendly, helpful and informative throughout the entire procedure.Because of their exceptional service during the procedure I’ve given WCR 4 stars.Had I been treated better at the reception desk I would’ve given WCR 5 stars.
Pros: easy to find, on the first floor, friendly staff, good waiting area, quick check in.Cons: staff not sharp.... tech neglected to examine where my metal was located, causing me to leave then get chased down for a redo. This time I undressed the whole top half. Also not much instruction on how still to be and when I could move. Receptionist forgot to give my credentials back on first trip, so I would have come back anyway.
I needed an MRI within a few days of visiting my surgeon. Other radiology departments couldnt accommodate me that quickly. Not only did West Coast Radiology get me in within 3 days, the staff were efficient and the MRI technician, Ann, was very experienced, thorough and kind. I would definitely recommend West Coast Radiology!
My 2 year old fractured his arm, came in and had to wait till 1 for their lunch break to be over, understandable. Receptionist that helped me was great, friendly and walked out paper work to me multiple times due to my son falling sleep in my lap. Technician was awesome, friendly and great with my son. Once they were all back from lunch we were in and out! Results took a while to get back to my doctor which resulted in us having to make appointments for the next day for further treatment.. which it could have been done sooner.. over all good experience!
My experience at Western Imaging in Irvine was very pleasant. From the time i arrived at the office i was very impressed with the comfortable front office area. I did not have to wait in the waiting area for more than 5 mins. And the procedure was not delayed at all. Everyone was very accommodating to my comfort and informative as well.
The front office was very nice and friendly, the lady who did my mammogram was nice and friendly. I would of gave 5 stars but the lady who took my back to change made me feel uncomfortable. I’m a plus size woman and she told me that all they had were size large gowns and that it wouldn’t fit me. I know that and that’s one of the reasons I’ve waited to go to the dr for so long. It’s embarrassing.
I always opt for the earliest possible appointment when I make the annual mammogram because I hate waiting in a queue if somebody in front of me is late, etc..So I showed up on time and the mammogram was timely. The changing room was clean and tidy and the technician is courteous and not too rough at the physical help with the mammogram. This is the worst annual check I dread every year but this time is not too dramatic. So all in all a good experience.
I had very high expectations of the facility prior to arrival and was quickly dismayed to find subpar customer service and competency with patient handling. Many techs visible but still lengthy wait times for procedures and mix ups with Drs orders and scheduling. Plan to have follow ups in another facility.
Long wait. Checked in 5 Min earlier than the assigned “check in time” of my appt (actual appt Time was 10:30am. Check in time: 10:10 am. My sign-in time: 10:05am. Didn’t even get taken until around 10:45am or later or so ~The rest of the ultrasound was smooth sailing— Just super cold in the room 🥶!!
I came for my annual mammogram. Every year I had a great experience. This year there were w technicians working, and one was extremely incompetent! At one point I had to say this is rough. The lady was short and unable to reach up! Never again would I go with a trainee!!!
The people were great but the TV was insensitive and clueless to anyone who might have anxiety or be going in for a test to find out if they have a disease. And it’s unavoidable as soon as you walk in. It’s really totally unacceptable it should be something calming and meditating. Definitely not healing to watch people find out about their cancer diagnoses for the sake of your own advertising. I was told people frequently complain about this as well. please change it; I would not go back if it was anything I was remotely anxious about
The staff at West Coast Radiology is by far the most helpful, thorough, kind, thoughtful medical professionals I have ever encountered. Having a daughter who has endured illnesses since birth, I have dealt with more then my fair share of medical/Imaging/lab staff. This team went out of their way to diligently investigate the most efffixient coast effective was to complete the Imaging my daughter needed. I had been quoted over $1,000 down to $360 for my percentage that insurance didn’t pay when I called all the different radiology centers in south Orange County. NOT ONE offered me a cash price option, nor attempted to assist me in paying a lower amount. Further, being that the year is almost over, and their schedules were getting full, ALL of the other centers were cold and dismissive regarding the urgency to schedule an appointment before the end of the year. Conversely, Salmeh at WCR Irvine immediately went out of her way to investigate our out of pocket if we used insurance, offered a cash price option 1/3 of the other facilities fee, compared the payment options and finally it only cost me $113!!!! She obtained immediate authorization from insurance, in case I decided to go through them, and scheduled me daughters Cat Scan for a couple days later, to accommodate my schedule. She consistently was kind and patient and truly gave me comfort. In over a decade of working with medical staff I have never experienced such complete thoughtful accommodation and true compassion and effort to help me or my family. Salmeh should be commended with the highest regard, and all others in the industry should take note of the ripple impact she made beginning with my family and extending into other families lives already.
I went to West Coast Radiology because my insurance sent me there. I live in southwest Anaheim and this site is in south Irvine, so it is quite a drive. I have been to this location before and have had good service. This time, not so much the case. The techs name is Aaron and was good before in September, 2018 but this time he had a bit of an attitude. As I was leaving, I asked if he or they could get the images and report to the doctor by Friday or Monday. His response to me was, I will have it to them 24 to 48 hours. He said this in the most curt way - kinda offensive. I am not sure what brought this on. The rest of the visit was fine. Dated 11-14-2018 from 2 to 4:15 pm.
I had an MRI and MRA (brain) today at west coast radiology - Irvine. The facility was easy to locate, inviting, clean and Nicely kept. The best part about this place was the staff. Sadly, I didn’t get her name but there was a girl at the front desk who was SO nice and made checking in, paying Co-pay etc such a breeze. Just a super friendly person that I enjoyed chatting with. Now for the more important part!! -the mri machine is small- I already have anxiety and I’m pretty claustrophobic. I took one look at the small space you have to be in and instantly panicked inside. Ian, who worked there, was my saving grace! I knew I had to be brave and see it through because I need the results but he talked me off the ledge multiple times when I got suuuuuper anxious! He let me go in to see what it was like first before we started and reassured me and walked me through the process the entire time! Thanks Ian for being the #1 hype man and making a scary test, not as bad! 5 stars specifically for having such a great and caring staff.
The technician and helper werent very concerned about making me feel comfortable, or explaining the process and just got irritated that I wasnt psychic. They basically were demanding that I need both legs down and thats not possible for my back. Finally said one leg down was ok... After it was over the tech just pushed the leg board in without asking if I was ready, the slime wasnt wiped off and she ecpects me to just sit up and get it on my pants. Then niether one of them offered to help me up and they both knew I have back issues.Waited almost 20 minutes past appointment and they tell me to go early to fill out paperwork...turns out I needed to fill out zero paperwork because I was recently at another one of thier locations. Seems call boy could have seen that.
Location of facility was easily assessible off the main boulevard. Many medical buildings and departments are within the prerimeter of associated buildings which is convenient for various medical tests and procedures. Every staff that I came into contact was helpful, pleasant and skillful. Would highly recommend this facility.
My first time here at this facility. Didnt have an appointment, just walked in. Front desk receptionist is very friendly and accommodating. Filled.out some forms, and only waited for 10mins., and was called in for my x-ray. I was in a nd out of there in about 30mins.
Hardest part about this place is parking and finding the entrance, and then the suite. Look for the building #. It isnt super obvious because its on the other side from where its most logical to park (if you follow Google directions). Staff was friendly. No appointment needed for xrays. TRUE STORY. And it was a short wait, less than 20 minutes. (I went on a Monday close to 3pm.) It was also quick once I got to the back. Changed, xrayed and out in about 15 minutes. Paperwork is minimal after your first visit.
Everyone was nice and helpful. It was close to my home here in Irvine that made it easy. I only wish someone could invent a more quiet MRI machine the noise was tough they did give me ear plugs and some headphones but the noise is still unbelievable but thats true for all MRI.....
Everyone I encountered was very professional and very pleasant - my only complaint would be - the extreme wait. I had a 7:30a.m. appt but was not taken back for the.scan until 8:30a.m. Obviously enough technicians on duty as there werent that many patients in at 7:30.in the morning.
Today was the second time I attempted to have an x-ray performed. I walked in a week ago and was informed they were totally booked even though they only take walk ins. The comment was made to bad you didnt get here earlier. That was at 11:00 am after leaving my Dr. Today I tried again. Getting there 45 minutes before a scheduled DEXA and after sitting for over 20 minutes was advised I should come back later. Nope. Not happening. Informed my Dr I will go to another imaging office. Will never go back here. On the other hand, the office upstairs for womens health is marvelous.
First of all this is the first time I’m leaving a negative review. It’s very important for a breast ultrasound clinic to be on time. This office has worst service ever. I booked an appointment early in the morning at 8:45am to make sure I can get my ultra sound on time But I got my ultra sound at 10:15. An early morning appointment had a 1.5hr delay. All the paitients were unhappy and they they were saying that appointments at this office always run late.
In my experience (way to many medical procedures) Hoag facilities are usually the best. As in my past experiences with Hoag, the facility was very clean, waiting room very comfortable, restrooms available witout needing a key, and staff very polite. However, I was less than satisfied with the wait time. I arrived 20 minutes early as instructed, completed all the reqired paperwork in 10 minutes, but then waited 45 additional minutes for my 5 minute bone scan. My time is valuable (as is everyones), so I was not pleased with the long wait. What was the point in requiring me to arrive 20 minutes early?
NOT GOING BACK!Technician was great, very gentle. Office staff was another story. They misplaced a request from dr, needed another copy and a 2nd trip for me. Then waited 20min to check fax machine after I requested twice. Finally, they told me theyd sent report, and blamed dr for losing it. Finally sent it next morning after dr called.
I’ve Read my prescription paper and it stated:“X-ray no need for an appoitment.Great. Walked in the office @9:05 am. Asked the receptionist how much time I need for this procedure and she said less than 30 min ...ok cool. I finished my paperwork with her in less than 5min (before 9:10am)I set there in their waiting area for like 25min on my phone then I aske her again (9:35am)what she thinks when will they see me and she said “he should be able to see you now”!That “now” lasted for another 20min!To make this story short it took me 1hr for something that should be 10-15 min procedure
I went to their office in Irvine 16300 sand canyon. After I put my stuff in the locker, “Kaylee” took me to their MRI room and started prepping my left hand for contrast injection. She started stabbing me brutally 6 times in my left hand and then apologized and said let me try your right arm. She stabbed me one more time and I told her Ive had enough and I want to go, this is when Ian came in and told me he can get the person who does their Ivy’s to come and do it (he stated he’s been doing it for 30 years) and then Fil smith who was their technologist came in and did it in one try in my left arm. In total I was stabbed brutally 8 times and at end the person who finally did the injection (Fil) stated that your Wayne is hard so I had to be tough with it. After MRI was done I asked Kaylee how long she’s been doing this and that’s when she told me: she’s just a student and been doing this less than 5 months. I was never informed that I am a practice subject for a very very bad student who doesn’t know what she is doing and has to stab someone 7 times with no results. I will be following up on this legally to make sure such companies don’t commit such acts (having people to be test subjects to students) to people who have Government insurance and are considered low income. After I asked for the company info they kept on going in circles and ignoring my questions and concerns. I already left a voicemail for Laura foster who handles their quality and my attorney will be in contact with their legal team also.Avoid going to this place. You will be brutally injected and they will have their students practice on you without informing you that they are students. They will avoid answering your questions and they will just apologize for how the procedure was performed. I’m in pain and their apology won’t help now.
The worst. Literally, of all the radiology places I have been, this is the rock bottom X-ray place ever. I call ahead about wait times and tell them I’m coming with three kids. I get there, and after 15 minutes, as we’re about to go in, they remember they have a rule that kids under 12 can’t be in waiting room. But I must go in with my 8 year old. So I ask if the receptionist can just keep an eye on them (for what later turned out to be a 7 SECOND procedure.) But that’s also against the rules. They’re just like, we can’t help you. But I took my daughter out of school for this. And they knew that. So luckily my pediatrician is in same building, I call and her staff says yes well watch them, I tell these people I will run my children upstairs. I come back and now the tech is going to lunch. I couldn’t make this up. And they say “Well at least you’re the first patient”. Duh. The place is EMPTY. I mean they JUST had me run my two children upstairs to a doctor’s waiting room. It felt surreal. But, the tech decided to stay and do the procedure. But they coded a wrong body part. And their system has crashed and so we all wait for that to get sorted out. And then it turns out I can’t go in with my child anyway, because I’m possibly pregnant. So another employee takes her. While I wait alone in the waiting room. For 7 seconds. And from the waiting room you can see the X-ray room, and it remained open. So really, if I stood in a certain spot I could have watched both my kids in the waiting room and the procedure getting done. Weird. And then they tell me I’ll get results in two business days. For a possible fracture. For an 8 year old. When I google mapped this place, I noticed it has 2.5 stars. But I thought you can’t really mess up a radiology place. Well they’re there to prove that yes, absolutely you can. So if any of that sounds like your cup of tea, go ahead and give it a whirl. But, you’re probably better off taping your possibly broken arm to a cardbord and walking it off to ANYWHERE else.
It is my 1st time with this clinic and is also last time, will never come back. My appointment is 10:30, the office mistakenly makes it 11:15, makes me waited half day. Furthermore, the sign states will call upon shortly is a misleading. The office has a long wait patient to an extent some patients come in at a later time have to stand.Unorganized, inefficient
Got an MRI and it did not go well. The session took about twice as long as they initially told me but I’m ok with that since I had to get this done. My main issue is that it’s EXTREMELY loud in there and I already have bad hearing. I have to wear ear plugs when I go to movies and concerts. Imagine being locked in a coffin with an industrial fire alarm, that’s what it sounded like. I was wondering why they don’t give out earplugs but thought maybe it messes with the MRI. After about 40 minutes in the machine I get out and see a giant container filled with earplugs. By the door. Upset I asked the nurse why I wasn’t offered any. All she said was she’s supposed to but forgot. Not too pleased with their customer service. Finished about an hour ago and my ears are still ringing.
Outdated technology. It’s 2019.. using X-ray technology from the 80’s. Having to wait 3 days to see my results? Seriously? Aside from all that. The wait was 20 mins with 5 people ahead of me. They ask too many questions about the procedure. If I’m there to get an X-ray on my knee, that’s all that needs to be known. It’s not like I’m there because I’m bored and need new art work for my house.I won’t return here again unless they spend some $$$ and step into 2020 technology.. hint see Kaiser
Worst experience ever. I went in for my ultrasound for my pregnancy and she wouldn’t show me the baby I didn’t get a picture. I have 4 other children I have never not been able to at least see the heart beat. Didn’t even turn the screen around. She had no bed side manners.
I have come to this facility for the past 7 years. I have never been sore after an mammogram. I was asked if ok to have a trainee in the room. I said sure. However the gal that should have been doing the training was at the computer the whole time. The trainee did not have machine at my height and machine not tilted correctly. Once the gal at the computer realized my frustration, she came around and set everything correctly. I had to take ibprofin when I got home. Again, not new to this and know they are not comfortable but my experience this morning could have been prevented if the trainer was there to help.
Very nice office, and for the first time ever I arrived at a new doctors office and get the forms to fill out and it’s already filled in. I only needed to confirm the info. Not the usual 3-8 pages of forms that needed to be filled in and some in triplicate. Thanks WCR no writers cramps 😁
Staff was welcoming, friendly and professional. I did have difficulty finding the location as the address number isn’t visible from the street. I arrived early and they even took me in early. The tech answered questions and even gave me updates throughout about how much longer it would take.
All went well but you need to get head phones for the MRI procedure. The ear plugs are a total waste. I have gone to other places for a MRI and we had head phones and were able to pick the music we wanted playing while going through this MRI. Would make a great improvement to your facility. I will not go to your place again to have a MRI if needed.
Dont come to this place. When they mess up your appointment they dont care. I made an appointment on the only day off that my wife has at 3:30pm. I show up at 3:10 like I was told and did all the paper work, 30 mins later they tell me that theres been a mistake on their end and they cant take me. I drove all the way from Garden Grove when theres plenty of places in G.G. that I couldnt have done it at but they didnt have for this date and time. I am watching my kids on all the other days and this was the only day I could do it at. Wasted a whole day that i couldnt have done something with my family. Terrrible place !!! Never comimg back
Expect a 15-20 minute wait, which is not bad. Just don’t schedule the appt bfr another one. For example, if you have an appt at 4:15 pm, that is cutting it too close for your subsequent 5 pm appt elsewhere. Other than that, the mammogram technician and front desk ladies are super nice and I will be back. 😊
I came here for first ever biopsy of my breast ! Scary ! The girls helping Dr. We’re excellent ! Especially Jennifer who made me feel at ease with her delivery of information ! Also the tec that gave me my following mammogram was very sweet and gentle ! 👍 thank you to all who helped me ! 😘

2022-02-12I was seen promptly and my technician was very kind. My scan was a better experience than I had at a different facility last year. My results were provided quicker than expected as well.

2021-11-06My appointment was at 8:30 AM. It was clean, no one was there… it was great as far as I was concerned. The machines are narrow so if you have curves or big muscles this office may not be able to help you if you’re getting an MRI or an MRA. There are bigger, more comfortable machines at The other locations. However they were quick, informative and patient.

2022-03-03Receptionist was clueless. Very poor representation of your brand. Process was well done. I might suggest a run through by the technician about expectations and timing.
