This is a fantastic spot to come with children. There’s the splash pad section which is pretty much for all ages. The city keeps it very clean and no pets are allowed. It’s nice that it’s by a big grassy area which you can come with an umbrella and snacks. There’s also the park part which is designed for kids 2 and up. The park is very nice but there were some homeless people that got on the playground and were scaring the kids. The park is fantastic but security should be tighter at this park for families to feel safe.

This place is amazing nice weather, awesome views and tons to do whether your looking for a place to eat or maybe go to a bar. They even had a arts and crafts market for up and coming artists. Had a great time and would definitely like to come back again and will tell anyone coming to San Diego to check it out.

Its a must anytime Im in san diego. Great playground and dont forget an extra set of clothes for the kiddos to splash around in!!Street metered parking is the trickiest, but thats usually the norm in any downtown area. Plenty of paid lots around the park.

We had the closing ceremony for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer 3-Day 2021 walk here. It was a great location for this. (Parking was a little tough though). The fountains and sunset were lovely!

Beautiful place to bring your kiddos. Free. And they can play in the water. We love this place ❤

We love this public park, for its great location along the San Diego Bay, the cool ocean breezes, the fun water feature, the grassy area to play sports (although the grass has dried out due to the drought), and the playground with all sorts of attractions for the kids. Our son spent nearly every day having fun here during the two years we lived downtown, and its always fun to come back for a visit.

Ive been emotionally distraught, mentally drained and physically exhausted! Waterfront Park, Almost immediately took my Anxiety away! Park was Peaceful and Serene! Yet, full of Life! People, Cars, Bicycles, Skateboarding, Dogs playfully running, children splashing in the waterfall, Homeless people laying down on Benches, Security Guards Canvassing area, Ships Standing, Boats Gliding thru the Ocean and Glistening, Ripples Dancing on the water! Clear Baby blue Skies with the most Life Giving Light that Calmed My Heart Wrenching Troubled Heart n Warmed Me Up Inside soothing my inner most Demons and turned them into Dare I say Sparkling Diamonds! This is what I needed to brighten my Spirits and Help me see Bright Sunshine Thru My Deeply Clouded Thoughts and Opened Up The Way to Seeing That All Is Good With The Universe and I just need to Take a Moment to Soak in the Many Reasons to be Grateful for the Simple things and center myself with Nature! & Nature will run its course!

My whole family, especially the kids, love it here! Fun fountains in the front you can play in and a fun playground the kids cant get enough of. Beautiful trees and a couple sculptures provide a great scenery as well. The parking garage nearby for waterfront is only available after 5pm.

Boats are huge and some awesome places to eat but I think after seeing the scenic views of the ocean with cliffs tgat this area lacks that beauty! Don’t get me wrong it’s still pretty and coming here to take a dinner or brunch cruise, checking out the little pop up shops and things like that are still great!
