5 stars for WM Antelope employees, 2 stars for store management. Management seems to not allow checkers--you have to check out yourself. Cumbersome if you have a full cart or are older. Nice employees but NOT A SINGLE CHECK-OUT LANE OPEN any time Ive been here! Come on WM makes enough money to pay a few checkers! We need more jobs, not machines replacing people. Citrus Height WM has checkers, so Im going there.
All I wanted was to check there hours but instead all I see is it’s open and when it closes.They are getting rid of cashers to automated.They don’t pick up the scooters for the disabled in the parking lot and never enough of them. Then people who don’t need them get them too. Management “last year” let all the tellers go to lunch together except for one elder blond teller didn’t catch her name but sure she couldn’t complain to that idiot and the line was ridiculous not to mention wearing out that on one teller. And shake on the other ones, it’s turning ghetto. Plus bad management causing the store to go down hill,
I read a lot of comments and couldnt believe what people are complaining about. Rediculous!! Everyone hate self checkout. Well since WMRT changed, i never had to wait in line(unlike before). Yes, its impossible to get help sometimes, but sometimes you come across a very friendly employee, who goes above and beyond to help you and we exchange a few jokes on a way anf made each others day better. I wish it was open 24 hrs, like before. Over all its a great store, its just some people (customers) are weird and need Prozac.
I was sent from Citrus Heights Walmart to this Walmart for a returns. The store closes as at 11 but apparently customer service closes as they please. The cashier said the system is down, the manager said he doesn’t have coverage and that they open at 7 am. The team lead then said 7 or 8 whenever the first CSR trained person shows up. Their service is a joke.
Since this location no longer employs cashiers, they have gone to all self checkout. What a pain. This is hard enough when you’re able bodied, but if your elderly or handicapped, it’s nearly impossible to scan and bag your own groceries. Customer should have a choice whether they want to self checkout or not.My choice is to go to a different store!!!
I always feel so bad for the employees here. The conditions they have to work under dont mirror the amount that Walmart should be paying their employees. I was given 2 counterfeit $100 bills when I returned my p.c. through customer service so be sure to check your bills before leaving.
Made an online order. They PROMISED that if they dont have the product I paid for, THEY WILL REPLACE IT WITH THE SIMILAR FOR THE SAME PRICE. Next day they cancelled the purchase about 30 minutes before they told me to come to pick it up. You cant expect real good customer service from the ChinaWal aka Walmart.
If I could give no stars I would. This is one of the worst Walmarts when it comes to being treated like nothing because when I say they treat everyone as if their the unfortunate homeless people who walk in there stealing to have something for themselves on top of not having 1 cash register open. So when my family was purchasing their items these nasty people proceeded to talk to one another then start watching my family because their black which is the only thing that makes sense in the situation. As they were making the purchase which They wanted to do at a cash register with a worker but couldn’t thanks to this Walmarts lack of cashiers. Now as they were in the self check out the worker started watching them then proceeded to talk to other employees who then started watching them instead of doing their jobs which makes me believe that they could’ve had more then one cashier running since they had so many people to stand around and stare at my mother & wife like they were there for anything other then shop. We as people of color need to #Boycott Walmart for all of February & Juneteenth because until we make a stand we won’t be heard or seen as equals.
It was the best danged Walmart Ive ever been to. Its like the department store of department stores! Ive not seen anything like this one. It was huge! They almost any and everything you could imagine. Even some tractor parts. I imagine you could probably get a whole tractor through this Walmart. Congrats Walmart, youve outdone yourself. So people, get on down there to that Walmart. Bring a change of clothes and pack a freakkin lunch cuz youre gonna be there awhile...

Same old Walmart, one thing that was wrong was I came in at 7pm on Saturday and the money center was closed? Normally open until 11pm. I asked the floor supervisor what was up and he or she or what ever they call themselves, told me it was to busy at check out. So it closed it. The store was dead when I cane in?
I got to the registers to pay they were all closed the clerk said theyre closed so I had to leave all my merchandise and go over to Target and go shopping this Walmart was open you could go and look around but you couldnt pay for any merchandise when I went to the front you couldnt check out Said they werent open yet.
I set a appointment at 8am and the associate the day prior said “that would be better and faster.” Clearly that wasn’t the case. It is now 8:57 and I was the only one with an appointment. Which I don’t care about. Don’t make me set a appointment and it takes no priority and takes a hour for a tire plug. It’s safe to say this location is off my list for speedy tire anything. Sucks because it’s so close and convenient.
We went there for some basic travel necessities for an upcoming trip. They had one option for a TSA lock, and their whole travel section was in disarray. Their suitcases were everywhere on the floor making it a tripping hazard and it was hard to find the travel items we needed.Otherwise, store was clean and any interactions we had with staff were pleasant.
Worst customer service. Specially auto section. False guidance. Went to find windshield repair kit, asked the designated auto section employees who just pointed towards wrong isles had to look for myself, waisted 30 mins only to find a Walmart doesnt have it. Time was 8:40 am. Not a single one is busy.
This Walmart is big and you can find everything you need section of alot of different stuff hair dye I go here...but there always some homeless tweekers stealing all the time when I come or there waiting outside looking all sad to ask you for money ...come on everyone get it together dont ask I give you money if I have it... They have alot of dog food area now. But yes once your checking out it takes alot longer then you shop.alway is self check out I dont know why but ok..
Electri scooter was waiting just outside my passenger door and the batteries were having trouble going over small inclinations as of the battery connections may need to cleaned or replaced and the battery fluid should rechecked and filled with colorless odorless drinking water at least once a week ir more.
0 stars. Was told that they have a policy of opening up peoples items. When I questioned them on this policy. They called me a thief. After several minutes there assistant told me to just Give me my money back and be done with him. I didnt want to speak with her any longer. I asked for the head manager and he starts defending her actions! I then decide to go and get my daughter some glasses at the vision store,, the lady was very nice,, but once they came out over a 100 dollars she asks if Ill be able to pay for these. Ill be filing a complaint with Corporate.
I get my engine oil, oil filters here. For some reason though they had all the charcoal briquets in the garden section which was closed up at 9 PM. Thankfully a kind employee was able to go get a bag for me but there should at least be some charcoal in the main store area.
Discrimination against homeless is an ugly form of prejudice and inequality and this Walmart has it in spades. They are rude and judgemental to all who may appear to be homeless or if you simply wear a backpack everyday. They should be ashamed of how they treat those who have so little.
Typical Walmart employees do everything they can to avoid eye contact with customers. I am writing this because they didnt have any bags. Instead of letting people know when they are in line or putting up a sign, they just allow you to pay for bags and pretty much say tough luck when you ask for bags you paid for. It was 30 cents. Its not going to break me; its the principle of the thing. The guy with the bleached unwashed hair working self-checkout thought it was amusing. Stuff like that has me shopping somewhere else, and experiences like this make me do everything I can to not go back into a Walmart.
Holy wow this place is BIG BIG BIG ! & Obviously a huge selection. Those are the good.Bad - both times Ive been there, there were no checkers literally everybody in the store had to use self checkout. After I finish loading an entire car full of groceries the last thing I want to do is check myself out.Get it together Walmart!HINT- when you entered the self checkout corral theres one single register on your right hand side they will check out your items for you there.
Went in for a fishing license stood at the sportingood counter from 1645 to 1712 talked to two employees walking by in uniform to call someone to the sporting goods counter before I was told the machine or access is broke sorry come back. This stores service has changed. Witnessed on the way to the sporting good counter. Guy wanted an automotive something in a glass case and the uniformed tall youg guy walked buy saw the guy kept walking I aint got the key. Never stopped and radioed for help to get the key
Just Like anywhere else you go, the are GREAT employees that go above and beyond, they will do whatever it takes to help you find the product you ate looking for and I can count them on one hand there were five employees over all the years I have shopped at Wal-Mart. Four young men and one senior woman. Thank YOU, Thank YOU, Thank YOU! I wont focus open the negativity at all. I will tell you that those five. OUTSTANDING INDIVIDUALS are the only reason I go still shop at Wal-Mart. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all
Never want to go to this one again. After finding so many cute things I had to ring myself up bag everything up and load it into my car and unload it when I got home. Not cool! I understand the option of ringing yourself up but having no choice. Never want to do that again. Also, sorry to all the people at Walmart that were cashiers that have no job.
This store has a lot of homeless people loitering in the parking lot and sleeping on the property. Ive been there twice were they didnt even have grocery bags for the customers because they ran out of them. Ive seen one customer walking around with an ankle monitor. The majority of their registers are now self-service and the store on Auburn Blvd is a much nicer shopping experience.
I absolutely hate this Walmart. There is minimal cashiers for checkout, everything is self checkout. There have been multiple times there were NO BAGS. I had to load up my groceries back into the cart and into my trunk. A lot of their products are locked up due to shoplifting. Always weird people in the parking lot. I wont go with my little one, too sketchy.
This is a pretty good store. Definitely my go to. I use the buy online and pick up option. I still cant believe it is free. Most staff I talk to are nice. Only a couple employees have I ever questioned but it would be 5, however I had not the best experience with a customer service agent who was not happy at her job-- I felt like I had inconvenienced her!
Since this store went to mostly self checkout, its been awful. Today was my first time going there in a long time and I use one of those ride on shopping carts. Well those self checkout lines arent exactly conducive to easily maneuvering in the ride on so I was having a hard time and NOT ONE ASSOCIATE offered to help even though there were five standing in the area! Just completely oblivious to the fact that I was having a hard time reaching the scanner and bagging area because of the awkwardness of the cart. I will be sure to avoid this location from now on.
Went in there and spent $150 about 10:30 at night. As Im leaving the lady asked to see my receipt and so I kept going to just shrug it off because I was at the checkout in front of her and she then proceeds to run in front of my cart and reach into my grocery bags to find the receipt. Im sorry but that is completely unprofessional and especially with the pandemic stuff that was happening to reach into the groceries that I purchased just for a receipt to see that I paid for them.... I understand that people steal from here but Im not dense enough to go into a store right as its closing fill up a grocery cart bag the items and then try to walk out the front door with stolen merchandise. You either need to find some new employees or train them properly flat out.
I encountered the most surreal experience here. I exchanged my TV due to it not working properly from the box never opened and pluged up immediately you knew something eternal was going on.... From the customer svrs to asst str mngr to walking out the store. I felt it was meant to BE!!
New checkout area in antelope is fast and easy but apparently everyone is a criminal when walking out the door. And they have a problem keeping masks on. And after i parked i was sitting in my car for 4 mins when security came up to my window and told me to keep it moving and walked off.
I recommend this location over some others in this area- employees at least respond rather quickly with assistance help.Doing well during this pandemic stuff too!Unlike others who are complaining about the self checkout, I enjoy it. Less contact that way! Most just dont like it because of laziness. Simple, do not be lazy- It is more convenient to just do it yourself.I just wish there were more clothing options for plus-sized clothing, but the selection they have is nice!
They close at 7pm and we came at 5:30 but they denied us service because they were “short handed”. There was 1 car in the garage and we said we don’t mind waiting for them, but the man only had excuses for why he wouldn’t help us at all. Don’t come here unless you trust lazy people to complete an oil change for you.
Took the missus there on our anniversary. I called ahead to inform the store that I was planning on a celebration at there location and wanted to be treated like celebrities once I, sorry I mean the misses and I walk through the doors. Upon arrival I noticed we werent greeted with a huge crowd cheering my name or women flashing their melons. No sir I couldnt even get the local bums to so much as fast in my direction. My wife was a little sad. She lost a whopping 71 pounds off her 386 pounds of back lard because its bikini season and wanted to show off her goddess figure. To cheer her up I flipped off a blind person and bought her a large coke.
Ive always loved Walmart I love the clearance aisle section never know what youre going to find over there I just wish they all had the same stuff at all the stores cuz the Placerville Walmart has fly fishing stuff and the Walmart in Rancho Cordova doesnt so when I was in Placerville I was able to pick up on all my fly fishing equipment
Its one of the only walmarts in the area with more self check outs than cashier registers it made the switch a while ago it doesnt accept any cash from my understanding maybe if they have cashier registers open they might take cash but im not sure because everytime i go in they dont have any its almost allways self checkouts and they only take cards. Other than that it might be a long check out wait sometimes because people take their time when doing self check outs. I recommend you only shop here if you need a few items consider going to a different walmart if you need to do a big grocery run.
The many shelves were empty. The vitamins on the top shelf had the labels turned backwards so you could read it? I did not get the item(s) I came for because of so many empty shelves and slots! I am highly disappointed in Walmart about this! I expect better than this from Walmart!
No customer service. Everything is self check out. To many long lines. The produce has expired dates and the meat is stamped to sell before date is only two days out. The store is dirty. Alot of the associates are standing around talking. There is never anyone to help. What happen to happy to help?
They closed one of the front entrances, the front bathrooms are closed, they only have 4 person-ran registers now, the rest are self checkout and the self checkout staff have no idea what they’re doing. The management is unresponsive to their check out staff which creates frustration, confusion and long waits for customers to be able to check out. I definitely will make an effort to shop elsewhere from now on.
What was once a great store has turned into a complete nightmare. They are never stocked on anything. Constantly empty shelves. Not to mention every time I go there, they NEVER have diapers. Never have grocery shelves stocked. Plus not only are they never stocked on anything, they are solely self check outs that are NEVER open. Less than half of their registers are open at a time (to which they say is due to understaffing/employees having cut hours). This makes for an extremely long wait time just trying to check out. Assuming you were able to buy anything at all because they never ever have what you need anymore. But! The worst of all? They are now not accepting CASH!! They are a card only store!!!!??? My final experience was about 2 weeks ago, when my young son waisted almost an hour of his time trying to get through this ridiculous line. After being given the run around from one side of the store to the other and to 5 different employee registers just to purchase his game (with his birthday money-CASH) he just ended up disappointed because they refused to accept his cash! This place used to be great. But now? Its probably the worst store Ive ever been in. Target is going to be where we shop from now on. At least they are stocked, accept cash, have great customer service, AND have the same prices as Walmart now! Sad because I have shopped at this Walmart location for the last 12 years. It never used to be like this.
You know Walmart is just Walmart. You shop at Walmart to it’s money not for anything else. This particular location is one that I do not frequent very often as it tends to carry a lot of homeless people in the parking lots and frankly that makes it kind of scary to shop there because it used to be really nice.It’s too bad that they cannot get some security in the parking lot to make people feel safer shopping there.Typically I shop at the one in Roseville it is much nicer all around.
Dont like how they turned every checkout stand and do self-check out it would have been nice if they added a few more and then kept a lot more of the cashiers checking their customers out I dont know its theyve just changed the whole store around so I try not to go to that one no more because its just too much
All registers are self check out! If it rings something up twice, you have to call over customer service. If you want to buy alcohol, you have to go to another register. This is the stupidest thing Walmart has ever done! My senior husband refuses to go. He doesnt even have a cell phone!
For the last 14-15 yrs I have shopped this particular Wal-Mart and have always loved it. Being there today was just sad for me. They dont have the same quality and quantity. Seemed everything had been downsized and there was nothing but self-checkout. I suppose I should be happy they are still open.I absolutely love WalMart.com!!!!
I really like the new Walmart! Not only does the store look and feel better (produce, adult beverage) but rarely a wait to check out. No more 15-20 registers in store with only 3 open. Now just need to get products in stock and shelves filled. btw whats going on with this chicken wing shortage?!?
Walk in thinking everything is going to be like the usual flow. Lady manning the entry by pharmacy was rude yelling at customers coming in that there is no cash payments accepted. Okay no worries I don’t use cash. Then she explains angrily the money center has no cash either. Don’t care I don’t use it but I started to wonder if they got robbed or something or did they think people coming in were going to rob the place?What she forgot to mention was that the place has no bags, empty shelves, and barely any employees doing much beyond following people around. Nice that Walmart offers employees to shop with you if you are a person of color. Watched as they followed several minorities around way too obviously it was obnoxious.This used to be that Walmart you felt ok at years ago and one of the few 24 hours a day Walmart back when they had loss prevention teams that didn’t focus on the employees. Loved running by with friends late at night to pick up things etc. This Walmart is more of a graveyard of its former self. Looks like it’s closing down judging by the lack of bags and no longer accepting money. It’s a stark reminder that Citrus Hieghts PD had this area removed from incorporation because of how trashy Walmart is.
So I went into this Walmart that I havent been in years, and i was surprised to say that it was very clean and every employee I came across as im walking threw was working. Although not one of the applied the 10ft rule which is to great a customer and to let them know your around if they need your assistance. So that was sad to not see. Anyways as Im walking threw the store, I great each employee as I walk by with a hello and a smile even though they cant see it. And to their dismay each and every one them looked at me with a shocked look to be greater by a customer, so anyways i asked a few employees from different departments where certain items were. I pleased to report that although I wasnt walk to the isles where the items were I was pointed in the right direction for sure. So I would just like to say to all of the employees employed at this Walmart, to not look so shocked when a customer or past associate greats them with respect and tells them to have a nice day and to stay safe. You know Not everyone, you incounter threw out your shift are rude Jerks that think they are better than you. So remember to always enjoy the job that your appointed to do by your employer, because life could be worse,like not being employee period. So on behave of myself and others I say Thank you for your hard work in keeping your store running, without each and every one of you shelves would be empty. Thank for the time in your store, and remember to stay safe and have a great day.
Went to purchase underware. Packages are now locked up in a cabinet and need a sales assistant to unlock...another problem, spent 15 min trying to find a sales assistant. Last problem, once case was opened, items were out of stock...could not tell before since the items were all mixed up
Im totally NOT liking the NO cashier thing. That when you do your monthly shopping like myself..I have to use self check out!! I will not shop the Walmart on Antelope for my monthly shopping anymore.. 😤its ridiculous that I have to scan n bag an entire shopping cart of food myself!!!
Visited Walmart to print photos for the first time ever and they turned out amazing! The associate there was super nice as well, she was calm and down to earth. Printed 200 photos and they were definitely worth it! Only 0.09 cents for a 4×6 picture. Will be coming back to print more!
Poor customer service and lines are outrageous. Managers are unprofessional, rude and lack customer service and problem solving skills. I have nothing nice to say my family and myself are not going to be shopping at Walmart anymore, I cant stand to even see a Walmart sign anymore, they had many chances to do the right thing and failed every time.
Advertised zarbees cough syrup for infants 2 + months online available in store for pickup but then only had the zarbees cough syrup with honey for 12 + months and I went to (4) different Walmarts all the same, stop false advertising on your website and update your selection and quit lying and using covid as the excuse. Covid doesnt affect a number in your computer, bad customer service does. I ended up finding the product I needed at CVS and paid $12 extra to get It but I got it and my baby will feel better, so CVS wins and Walmart you lose
Pria at customer service is amazing. She is sweet and helpful. On top of everything needed.We left the walmart on watt because of lack of any employee working customer service. Told us it is always closed. Horrible service and no one could help. Made us so happy how quick, helpful and nice Pria was.
Will for such a big store there wasnt a handicap cart for me to drive and as a walked up to check out my total dismay there was only self check out. Period I had two cats and disable that wasnt what I needed to see at the end of my shopping trip. After having to walk that huge store! The personal that I met were nice tho.
Update:They have everyone use the self checkouts, lines are better but this store is always a mess and inventory is never accurate. I Ordered holiday cards with envelopes, they printed the cards but dont have the envelopes that were paid for. They didnt care. So I checked stationary sections and its out of stock. Check online and their site says they have them in stock. Talk with several employees and no one can say if they do or dont have them on site. Still avoid whenever possible.Original review:Avoid this location! Lines are always 20-30 minutes long with only 2-3 registers open at any time.Other Walmart locations dont seem to have this issue due to better management of their checkouts and/or employee schedules. I hope this review prompts them to make a fehanges and improve but doubt it..
The store is currently in being remodeled. The store is always clean, but a confusing mixture of disproportionate disorganization, given the remodel. The only thing I dont mind being a little mixed is the clothing. Employees are polite to an extent. There are some that do not where their masks and they let customers in with improper masks.
Had a great experience this time didnt halft to retrieve my own cart and was surprised that a few employees new were there products were located at. And they still need to realize we are the customer. And they are employees who job is to satisfy our needs and not be rude or negative when asked a simple question. That falls from management. They act in childish ways. Most especially the Linda California store. All employees from top to bottom think they are their for each others friendship instead of the consumer needs being met. If I owned this location I would send secret shoppers and my self weekly drop ins. Management is not supposed to be professional and have customers being treated professionally and not being a buddy buddy with employees and security at this location is a laughing joke speaking to customers who shops daly at their location tweekers go do more drugs and lose some more teeth. I would give 0 stars if possible. The store is dimly lit and depressing, and practically everything was locked up. The checkout line was all the way to the back wall and the cashier who checked me out was mumbling and difficult to understand. Then, instead of bagging my items logically, he shoved everything into 1 bag. I get theres a bag tax in CA but come on, thats ridiculous. Worst shopping experience of my entire life
They thought I was stealing an online pickup item... It was a fan. A decently big fan, with a decently big sticker on it showing that its been bought already. That was very annoying especially considering that I was buying other stuff from them at the same time. I wasnt doing anything suspicious either. Needed help at the self check out and the lady just gawked at me for like 4 minutes before calling a random associated over to help me. They helped me and backed up to proceed to watch me check out. I didnt scan the fan because I bought it already then finished checking out. Not even one step away from checking out and the woman was up close and personal in my face demanding a receipt for the fan. That was fun... Im leaving now, boom! Another woman asking for my receipt. It was a lady I asked earlier for directions to pick up... Overall not a fun experience. :/
So...they broke my Walmart. No more McDonalds. New hours 7am-11pm, no more 24/7. Food is starting where baby items were. Automotive is more of its own cornered off area. I went at opening to avoid the crowds and there were absolutely no cashiers. The only option was self check out. They did accommodate for larger shopping by making several longer bagging areas but the counter next to the scanner is still too small. You have a scanning gun now which helps. All of this remodeling and you still can barely fit 2 carts down an aisle.
I have to say that whoever came up with the seriously messed up way they thought that the new floor plan has been on something. Do to my health condition I cant take any chances on getting close to anyone. It doesnt matter if their vaccinated or not, other accommodations have got to be their first priority. I dont have the luxury of having someone else to do my shopping. I have two kids so how do they expect for me to do our shopping? And so far the other shoppers goes, they did not give me my six feet.
This location is consistently low on stock for everything. Literary everything. Shelves are regularly empty. This is my local Walmart but I go to other locations whenever I have the time because I already know I wont find items from my list if I go here. And its nice people are wearing masks more now but the lack of any enforcement is depressing...
They only have self checkout. I bought fuel injector cleaner and had to wait awhile before I could make my purchase. I used to shop Walmart every few day but now that they have no cashiers I shop once every two months at the most .I have bad arthritis and am not willing to scan groceries.
Have shopped here for years. Been coming to the Senior hours since the pandemic. Always buy a lot to stock up. Today I discovered that EVERYTHING is self checkout now. Not one checker, even for the seniors, who were really having a hard time with it. I will not shop here again, you are losing a good customer with this nonsense. There should always be at least ONE checker for people who cant handle self checkout!
Merchandise is placed haphazardly throughout the store clothes racks in opposite corners of the store. All checkout lanes are self service with 1 employee assisting all checkout machines with issues that arise.DONT GO HERE. At least that is my advice to anyone interested
Hands down the best walmart in the Sacramento area. Its definitely biggest one and tons of merchandise for everything you can want need or imagine. Staff was so helpful in the crafts section. We showed her what we needed and she took us right to it. Even got her little stepper cart to get the items of the top shelf for us with a smile and great attitude to match. Will definitely be returning especially since all the other walmarts in sac have become so ghetto and poorly managed.
Used the money center to cash a check. Line wasnt to long when I stepped in line but continued to grow because there was only one person working in the money center. Right when I arrived at the counter they finally put 2 more workers in there. Man, why? Should have at least 2 workers at any given time due to business fluctuating. Found a $20 bill on the floor due to a customer probably dropping it. Didnt know if I should keep it or not because Walmart has a policy that if anything is found on Walmart property its Walmarts property. Handed it to an associate working in electronics told the associate I used to work for Walmart and that she should just turn it in and not pocket it because they would fire her. I only know this because I worked for Walmart in the 90s and the policy was there that if anything was found on Walmart property it becomes the property of Walmart. WOW!!! Also know from experience because a friend who used to work for Walmart while not on the clock found a $5 bill on the ground. So she kept it and the next day that she was scheduled to work they fired her. Stating that she stole it from Walmart because it was found in and on Walmarts property. Please!
I do not like the changes that have been made to Walmart. There are less people on the floors to ask questions of. Those people that are on the floor dont know what theyre doing. They cannot answer your questions Im just totally completely disgusted with Walmart and I am looking for another store to shop at.
Legitimately this has to be the monster of wally worlds (walmart) It has something I havent seen anywhere else. Self checkout has these cute little booths where you park your ride (cart) lol so you can privately scan your things. It is really quite a pleasant adventure. I used to hate that shopping experience that gave me anxiety now when i left. I was tired, outa breath and i wasnt even to my car yet. They should provide little go carts. (No pun intended) if they are going to keep making stores this big..
I have called 4 different stores to ask a question about a return not one person answers at customer service not one store cares about their or they would take the time to answer their phone.Their actions speaks louder than words. If they dont have enough people to answer their phone the hire people just to answer the phone. I called the Walmart on antelope Rd.,the Walmart on Watt/I 80, Walmart on Watt and Elberta,Walmart in Citrus Heights.
This is a huge store. The store is undergoing another reset/ facelift. Im in the store 2 or three times a week as it is the closest to my home.I am very disappointed when I go to this Walmart due to the fact It is always extremely busy, and always very under staffed.Anytime I have ever needed assistance...... The staff was not available, or nowhere to be found.I recommend the Walmart on Auburn blvd in Citrus Heights.It is well staffed Always
If you expect good customer service from their electronic department, dont bother coming here. The staff in that department ignore you if you are a woman.I was so disrespected by a male employee working the electronic department. I was skipped over by the employee and when I tried to get his attention, he interrupted me before I could speak.That is not how a paying customer should be treated.
Worker at door said I was stealing as I walked out . I Ask to speak to managers. Talk to one then they made me wait till I could not wait no longer and left But I was so offended . I wont spend here again. I know it wont make a difference but I spend my money where it is appreciated. I do not recommend shopping here I would go somewhere else. But you can experience it for your self.
Went to Walmart to buy a fishing license and I kept pushing the service button for someone to help me and I waited for 15 minutes, so then I called big 5 sporting goods they have fishing license thier so I went there and bought one. They said that a lot of people have been going thier because Walmart sporting departments never helps people
They decided to remodel again. And its evening time. There are people working for the remodwling company everywhere moving everything and blocking everything. Couldnt get help til i tracked down the right person as the 60 people moving stuff dont work for walmart. Such a mess right now. Hope they do it quick.
They have a high homeless population around this area and are very quick to treat u like a criminal when you are actually a very valuable customer and infact just spent$600.00+ w them and they find it necessary to hold u up at the door reviewing ur recite for 20 min. Its ridiculous.
Ive already posted a review that they mustve removed. I scheduled an appointment to have 4 new tires installed on the following day. That day I arrived early (as they requested) and told me there was ONE car ahead of me finishing up and that mine would only take an hour. 3 1/2 hours later my car was finally finished! It was because service staff took another car that came AFTER me- BEFORE my car!(on accident they said! How is that possible when you told me what bay to park my car and the order in which it was to be serviced?!?🤬🤬🤬) I was seething!! But for as LIVID as I was, I was not surprised that those good ol boys in the service department cherry picked the cars they wanted to work on, instead of a mature, African American womans car... were at the bottom of the food chain anyway and had nothing else better to do sooo well make her wait is what I suspect their reasoning was. I said in my initial review that I am indeed pulling the race card because there is NO VALID, EXCUSABLE REASON for them to PURPOSELY take another car BEFORE mine!! First and last time I will ever go to that WalMart for ANYTHING! Can you see the RAGE in my eyes from that day??
0 stars. I went in to purchase 2 hoverboards and an electric scooter however it took at least 30 minutes to get an employee to open up the door to retrieve them. The lady was super rude and was hesitant to put the items in my cart as if I couldn’t afford them. After she put the items in my cart she told me to pay in electronics and FOLLOWED me all the way there -_-. I ended up just walking to a normal register to pay because she was making it a huge deal looking for somebody to pay me out there. This Walmart is ridiculous, this isn’t the first time I’ve experienced issues like this here.
The worst place to shop!!! I dont like doing review, but I was disappointed about Wal-Mart Team lead guy.I spend 3 hours asking for help. I order item online, and when I came to pickup- the item was not available for pickup even though I got email confirmation.I asked the guy who said hes a department manager if could replace the item thats available inside the store. So I dont have to go another store.He was NOT helpful, he was unprofessional and completely disregarded the fact that I came to pickup a order that I already pay for it.He said his name was Jermey.He cancelled my order and didnt even asked me what my replacement is.I left the store upset, when to TARGET and got the same item,better price and better customer service.
If I could give this place 0 stars I would.I arrived at walmart, and I didnt see the parking area for pick up. As anyone would, I asked a worker for help. I was directed to walk to the 2nd door. I asked another worker near the direction she pointed for assistance. I was told to walk to the back of the store. I then asked the 3rd person who was in the online pick up area for a direction to pick up my groceries / online order. At this point, I had been in the store 25 minutes. As the person in plain clothing with no identifying markings or clothing walked up and started talking, the focus went in the direction of a man coming from the bathroom with a backpack. That is understandable but what is not understandable is that this person came to speak with me as if I was supposed to know that he was the person responding to the button that i pressed asking for assistance. I am asked for my information. He takes it and after a moment figures out that I am here for my groceries / online pick-up. I explained this to him the second that he arrived but I guess the device was able to articulate this information better than I. He then states that I should have followed the app instructions. I explain tk him that I only came in the store after not seeing the parking area and asking 2 people for assistance prior to him. He walks me to the rear entrance of the grocery pick up area. After explaining to me that I could take my groceries, I was rudely greeting by a person who didnt introduce themselves or communicate their role in my transaction. This man who I believe to be their manager just walked up to me and raised his voice and told me that I couldnt receive my items back there. He lifted his arm and pointed me outside as if this entire issue was my fault and at no point did I feel like a customer who was being served. He then told me that i needed to go outside to the parking area to receive my items. There was still no guidance given to me from an employee in a managerial role. The one person that assisted me was the person who scanned my items. This person guided me to the parking area. I drove to the designated area, and parked. This same worker came and greeted me and assisted me without hesitation. The manager from earlier proceeded to show terrible customer service. It took less than 10 minutes for me to drive around the building, communicate with the other employee and park. This manager came to me and said, hey whats order number? I gave him my name as my phone was having an issue. I told him my name and he waited diapite that fact that i had already confirmed my order with the employee before him at the moment that I parked in the pick up area. He then asked me if i was just in the store at the back door. I feel like my time was wasted and I specifically went and asked for help from not 1 but 3 different employees. I want to make it clear that I was treated extremely poorly and given terrible directions. I will never order groceries from this walmart again. I dont know if I ever want to shop at this walmart again. I am beyond frustrated. Walmart, you have to do better. I work woth 1000 people daily and i can tell you that your managers should be better at providing customer service. I was treated poorly, assisted poorly and my time was wasted. This is unfortunate!I could go back and check for errors but I am frustrated 2 days later and its not worth it to me at this point.
I have been to this store MANY MANY times because it is super close to my house, but this is my first time writing a review. I am so thrilled at the customer service I experienced while shopping at the store. I stopped a worker to ask if they had fish sauce. Super random but needed it for a recipe. Screech stopped what he was doing, and gladly took me over to where it would be. He helped me look for it and after a little bit we could not find it. I told him that it was okay I appreciate it so much that he helped me look. He found my mom (who I was shopping with) who came and found me ( who was still shopping) and found the fish sauce!! EXCELLENT customer service and the most positive and happiest attitude!! Screech, you are appreciated and I will continue to gladly spend my money at this Walmart happily because of you!! You make such a positive difference in this world!
They have made CHECK OUT, ALL SELF SERVICE with 1 PERSON WATCHING YOU... This person CANNOT HELP YOU in any other way, than fixing the register when it breaks/stops working and even that takes forever because they are over FIXING someone elses BROKEN REGISTER.WHERE IS THE CUSTOMER SERVICE, APPRECIATION OR EMPLOYEES and what about those whove lost their JOBS?WALMART has always GREEDILY VALUED MONEY OVER the QUALITY of their products and the SATISFACTION of their CUSTOMERS AND EMPLOYEES, but NOW this is JUST PLAIN ABUSE over PEOPLE who are POOR, disabled and those who just cant afford to shop elsewhere.IF ABLE, GO SHOP ANYWHERE ELSE!DONT LET WALMART CONTINUE TO ABUSE ITS PATRONS!
I finally found an employee at the sporting goods on 5/6/21 at around 8.00 pm to get a fishing license. However Walmart employee informed me that fishing license mashine is not working and he didnt known which Walmart has a working mashine at the moment. Even that conversation was unpleasant us he just wanted to brush me off and to not even talk to him enymore. It felt like he just lied. I am almost certain that he did. I wish amazon sold fishing licenses.
Not my favorite place to go, not very clean. Workers seem stressed or too busy talking to each other to help you. They should have a no cell phone policy for the staff on the floor. The only reason i still go there is i have a budget and most foods are reasonably priced. That is if you can find it.
The fact that they replaced all the check out lines with self check outs is ridiculous, how many people lost their jobs because of this? And whats even sadder is that everyone seems okay with it. We will not be going back to this location because we value people having jobs and we dont get discounts for using self checkout.

They only do self check out with cards no cash and the garden center doesnt have a check out anymore. So they use there garden center for storage and not much gardening. They just rearranged the whole store and so it is hard to find everything. I personally hate this store now mostly for the self check out, long lines and no customer service.
What is going on at Walmart, no more cashiers, staff that could care less about anything. No bags, cant use cash , except one or two self checkout stations. Sad to say but I will take my business elsewhere. Get it together Corporate, the public still pays your salary.
Ive always been pretty good prices on items that you need and want but the shelves are pretty bare and Associates are if you ask for help they act like they cant hear you so I had to get what I wanted from the top shelf by myself which is ridiculous do better Walmart
Wow! DOES Walmart Antelope Rd hope to sell anything with stuff tagged less than $2-5 locked up in a case and such a shortage of employees that you have to wait over a half hour for someone to come unlock the case?? Crazy! $50 electric toothbrushes make sense, but a $2 set of pliers is overkill, esp if theres no one available to respond to their button for help.
The store is very unorganized.Some employees are not wearing face masks.Company is always out of important essentials.When the company does get new products they just remain in a pile in the middle of the isle.There is never any customer service in the back of the store.The employees are rude and have poor customer service.I approached an employee because I needed assistance and I totally felt ignored because the employee had earphones on and couldnt even hear me or see me standing there. I honestly thought the employee was deaf at first.There are always homeless people outside the business right along with other mentally disturbed people.I had to go to a different Walmart one day because a homeless man on drugs would not move so I could get out the car.This is one of the worse Walmart in Sacramento.
Stood by the spray paint lockers for over 20 minutes. Pushed the assistance button at least 5 times. Talked to 8 EMPLOYEES passing by ALL who said they would be sure to get someone over to help, not one person did. When I checked out with my last few items up at customer service I explained about the faulty can of spray paint I came to return or exchange and the guy looks at me blank face and says oh, Im were closed now..... I told him I realize that now that I spent 20 something minutes BEFORE THEY WERE CLOSING waiting to be helped. He shrugged and said come back at 7. Not that big of a deal Im the grand scheme of the universe, but it irked me enough to review it. Hopefully next trip Ill have something outstanding in the positive side to report. Has to be balance somewhere right? I hope.
I was very disappointed in their automotive section. It was very disorganized and a lot of things were unavailable like automatic transmission fluid it just seemed like there was none. Walmart is usually my go-to place for things like oil filters and that type of thing and they just seem to be very disorganized in that store.

2022-02-21Nice big Walmart here. However, their garden department is lacking selection of plants and lacking a lot of gardening stuff. Not even close compared to Home Depots gardening department. The guy name Daniel at their pharmacy was very helpful. Their grocery department is pretty good. Well stocked and a good selection. I pet and automotive department was mostly stocked but the cat can food was kind of empty last week.

2022-03-05I just wish they would have a few more Associates out in the store, with all the new changes in the store, it makes it really hard 2 find things and if youre in a hurry and youre just all over the store looking for something its frustrating, customers in there neighborhood Walmart. You go there on a regular basis all of a sudden you feel like a stranger in your own neighborhood again. you guys take everybody out of the store. Make changes, everything is not where its suppose where you remember it to be a great experience . I think not weve gone through enough changes with this virus. thats all Im saying so it would be nice, When it comes to customer service, just seeing somebody when you walk in and when you walk out to show your receipt. Feeling like a stranger in my neighborhood is not a nice feeling happy happy Joy Joy thank you

2022-04-27Spent an hour locating items....first time at store. Got ready to check and I was told I had to self check out. I had no choice, also no help. I spent $250 there and wld of been my regular store once I got moved. Not now...need to feel assured I dont have to check out, bag and load my own groceries at these prices.

2022-04-10Took my car in for an oil change. Woman in auto center very nice, wait time about said about 2 hours. No problem. 4 hours later I started calling and got no answer. For reasons I won’t bore you with, I needed my car and had to time the pick up. I called 3 different numbers for roughly 2 hours and got hung up on 19 times. The phone numbers ring and someone picks up and immediately hangs up( I heard sounds and talking) when I went to the store, I spoke to a store manager who acknowledged the employees do this phone behavior often and there’s nothing that can be done about it.While I was in the store, made other purchases and saw someone had vomited in an aisle and itWas obvious it had been there for hours(starting to dry) roughly 20 feet away were 2 employees standing by talking about said vomit on the floor and it was clear they would not be cleaning it up. The behaviors and ultimate foulness was way too much for me at this store.. I’m done.

2020-02-01Clean large space, well stocked. Removed s start because I waited longer than it took me to shop just to get something unlocked from a secured cage. Way too many things locked up and not enough staff with keys.
