Super slow getting my pickup order. Also did not give us all the items. The person who finally brought our groceries was really nice so there is that.
This experience was a little different than most. Thte shelves were not stocked and asking clerks for assistance with this particular crew was worthless. They would simply answer I dont know. A little frustrating.
Very disrespectful employee I am door dash door always they cancel my ride I don’t know why they are doing always specially they girls on this Walmart
REVISED. Price confusion lately has gotten apologies and a quick fix from the night managers. Fellows doing the stocking have been great help hunting down products for me and offering other options.Pharmacy and new bill paying service is decent.Parking lot after dark is a great place to get harassed, robed, or vandalized.

The store was organized and not busy. It is typically not busy whenever I go which makes it nice to shop. Im able to get in and get out without a problem.
Pretty good selection of packaged name brand foods but dont buy milk there! I bought a carton of milk from this store about a month ago. The next morning I poured it on my cereal and nothing but clumps plopped out of the carton. I checked their dairy section again today and more than half of the milk had an expiration date of August 18th.Today is August 29th!Come on Walmart get it together!
I did a grocery pick-up. It was fast & convenient. The store attendant that brought my groceries out was very pleasant, bagged my items for me & loaded them all in my car. No issues & much easier than taking my kids through the store. Will definitely be doing this again.
I ask for consultation, the Asian girl say no. You dont need you had this before, I understand that, but that was almost 7 or 8 years ago. I dont have a memory for that medication, to remember. Im rely upset. Im Google it. Right now. Today 4 starts good services on 5/20/2022.
Not only are their shopping carts almost non existent due to them being stuck together, the supervisors/managers are rude as well. As Im in line to check out, female supervisor comes over and says that the only register open is shutting down and well have to self checkout. This stores professionalism is going down the drain. If I want to check and bag my own stuff Ill get paid for it....

Its overall good store. Good location. I give it four generously, its not the cleanest walmart that Ive been in. But the floor employees did assist me promptly in regards to obtaining merchandise that was behind plastic locked up. Could use more smiles and greetings

Walmart still has cheap prices. The employees look like miserable zombies. Theres never anyone to help you. Never anyone to check you out. This is the most depressing store I have ever been in. I dread coming here. I think its going to be better but its just getting worse.
Very helpful staff. AND they actually make me happy everytime I shop. Great atmosphere. And if they are ever out of something they make sure to have lots of it next time you shop. This is my personal favorite Walmart for grocery. They put up with a lot from riff raff outside. But inside is pleasant. Thank you Walmart! Thumbs up from me! :)
So slow and the employees are just so rude. I work for walmart myself... So I know a thing or two when it comes to this job. I know it isnt the easiest but have a little more enthusiasm. I know its walmart but smile and welcome your customers.
Walmart is a okay store to get basic Essentials, anything else you can forget it. A lot of times this store and every walmart is out of stock after 1pm. Get what you need in the morning. Also check the dates of everything because a lot of things are out of date. Check out is slow. Prices are getting higher and is no longer the lowest price you can find. Customer service hours are unreliable. Often closed. Crowded at times. On others words shop somewhere else unless you really need something.
I only use this store because of the convenience of being close to home, but every time the experience gets worse. Produce is outdated and some was actually rotten today. Packaged lunch meat I grabbed was 7 days past the use by date. Usually after 2 PM the shelves are real low. Restocking doesnt seem to be a priority here and I think its only done at night. Be careful with the bakery items as they are almost all pre frozen and sometimes not thawed before they are put on the shelves!. Overheard an employee talking to a co worker saying this place is a disaster. If you do shop here, read the use by dates before purchasing anything! Also the self checkout queue line going down the frozen isle smells like Raid bug spray, and has now for weeks! EEEKS!

Very busy with 6 regular check out lanes but only 2 working. They want u to self check out i think. U can bag your own bags. They are always stocking, so let them work. Some good over stock prices are tri tip trimmed and pork ribs.
I live in this area and I urgently needed one thing, 10 minutes before closing I came to the store, they didn’t let me in, although there were many buyers there. I asked to buy one item, but I was still not allowed to enter.
I enjoy shopping there with their great selection and really close locations to where I live or hang out normally. My new place has a superstore but I will miss the nice folks at the Madison one.

Nice clean store, parking can be tight though. Customer service is always closed, not sure if its temporary or permanent. I give them 3 star only because I went specifically to cash a check and customer service was close.
I bought 90 dlls of groceries but I forgot to get 2 bags until I was on the parking lot so I come back running and I didnt want to get in the line for 2 plastic bags so I asked if I can have that and the lady on the entrance told me that now they are charging for them so I get mad and called the manager, explain everything and she didnt understand and she told me that if I pay I can get them so now just letting you know that thet loose a customer because she didnt want to give away 20 cents and help someone who just bought from Walmart. Today seemed easier to shop and check out than other times Ive been here. Especially for being a Saturday the place was cleaner and they had stock actually going out onto the floor! A+
Had so bad a service I gave my cart full of grocery to your employee. I was behind two people while cashier was helping another customer. There was only 2 lines but other line had 2 people with carts full to the top. By the time cashier on our line finished the other line was almost done but the man in front of me & I could not go to other line because 4 more people came. Then the middle line opened up. Instead of taking the next people in line she opened up & people went to her. So over 7 people checked out before the man in front of me & I got to the register. This has happened to me before so I will never shop at your store again.
I dont like to bag my own groceries. Update - revising my review to 4 stars to reflect my consistent experience with wonderful service from the employees at this store. Also, they have a great selection of products. I still hate to bag my own groceries!
This location has polite employees, who were willing to help answer questions on a moments notice.The location is based around the grocery section, some household goods and a pharmacy.Not a location for clothes or electronics.Overall great experience here and I do revisit due to its convenience!
Better than I had expected. Was there just before closing with a full cart and no cashiers, so it was a bit of a pain bagging 6 shopping bags full to the brim in a tiny little self check out area...i think Im gonna hit Walmart up for a W2 or 1099....

Great walmart,only ONE thing i would suggest is that they actually enforce the mask on in store. Iv watches atleast 3 people walk in with no mask and get away with it. We are there to get groceries not because we are out having fun,we have to. And the virus isnt going anywhere unless the rules are set and followed.
Overall a fair store with okay prices (as per any Walmart). but they had a roll back price for an item on the shelf and charged me full price anyway. I asked them to check (I made sure it was the correct item labeled before grabbing it) and they took 7-8 minutes to do so which left me ready to leave and paid for my items so I just left and overpaid instead of keeping others waiting. also the employee who came to check the price had an attitude bout it, as if I had been laying about a couple bucks. other than this experience, its an okay store. manager is a nice guy.
Products were in wrong places or wrong prices were placed. However they did have the best selection of carb smart ice cream Ive ever seen (great for diabetics like me)
Its an alright store I personally have had a lot of incidents there that it has made me uncomfortable for a hard working single father like myself besides that produce,food items are always on point customer service not so much but I dont blame them its a tough time right now
My familys neighborhood Walmart that never seems to fail. They dont tolerate non-mask Karens so thats always a blessing as my little sister has asthma. Workers are always polite and sociable; sad to say, but theyve practically become like friends. Keep up the good work and hospitality!!!
Not a great place to shop. The staff isnt very friendly and the shelves are frequently empty. There is normally only one or two registers open. Checking out has gotten quicker recently with the addition of more self checkouts that have hand held scanners, which was a nice addition. Because of the slowness and stocking, I only go here when I have to.
This is my go to market for quick shopping trips before or after work. There are several self check out counters and cashier staffed registers as well. They carry lots of family staples, you wont as large a selection as your local super center but still a great place to shop due to the convenience and ease of checking out.
Its a pretty small Walmart it doesnt have a lot of what you need everything has to be locked up just for dental floss alone so I think theyre a bit excessive but hey maybe they have their reasons for having to lock everything up. And then when you ask for something to be unlocked you get a worker whos just irritated.
Horrible store. My first and last time ever going here. My sister warned me it was awful but it was on my way and I only needed a few items. Their green apple bin was almost empty and the apples that were left were inedible. The cucumbers most were soft or mushy and needed to be thrown out. They did not carry or were completely out of Ice drinks. Then I needed to buy a money order. There was only 1 cashier handling returns and money transactions and a fairly long line. I complained to the manager that it was after work on the first day of the month and they should expect to be busy. She came over herself and opened the second register. Also when I went to get a cart there were none available so a manager had to get someone to get me a cart. They had no courtesy clerks getting carts. This was awful.

First they eliminate cashier jobs by making people use their self-serve checkouts. Then they insist on scanning your receipt and one of your items. I didnt shop there very often before, but I wont shop there at all now.
We were pleasantly surprised to find everything well stocked especially during the holiday season!! This store was clean and had clerks helping that were extremely courteous!! Yay for WM!

Terrible customer service. Lines all the way down the isle, only two registers open and the checker walks away and disappears without a word, lots of products out of stock, workers standing around oblivious to their surroundings. This store needs a hero!
Very well organized and so easy to find anything in aisles. My personal favourite part is that their water filter refill machine is so efficient and barely has a line up to fill my 5gallon water jug.

I got a 5pound bag of oranges but the register said the cost for an 8pound bag. They couldnt find the price for the 5pound bag, so they gave us the cost of a 3pound bag . Nice staff! 10/10 would come here again.
Went to take my Girlfriend here because we bought milk from here to make chocolate milk for her son to drink and there was dark particles in the milk and she almost gave it to her son before we noticed. We tried to see if customer service will give a free milk or discount for new milk. They say they’re not offering any help in those regards but have the audacity to talk about the pandemic like people aren’t suffering financially from the pandemic as well not just physically. Beware of produce from here because you’ll be spending more money on buying new food from here if there is anything wrong with it. We will be taking our grocery shopping elsewhere for now where we’ll know for sure nothing will be wrong with the groceries we purchase. I don’t know why these businesses keep talking about the pandemic when none of their policies help nor make anything better.EDITED: Target allows returns and actually helps when something is wrong with their stuff so we go to target now.
Well I had to edit my review because there is no longer issues and what I had spoken of before is unnecessary for people to read at this point. Very accommodating store. You can also make it through checkout very fast. Its is what you make of it. Thank you Walmart employees for adapting to locals as well as making it convenient for us to shop.
This store is great for last minute items or just to grab a couple of things. I like the fact that it is right next door to Home Depot , Ross and Pet Smart.
My wife inadvertently purchased the wrong type of sausage, upon calling the store she spoke with Store Manager Don, who was very nice and said please just bring it back and we will exchange it no problem. As I walked into the store, SM Don was having a meeting with his team. Stopped what he was doing addressed me and said, “oh, your wife just called, go get what you need, have a great day and thank you for coming to Walmart Neighborhood Market.” I was completely surprised by this action because we’ve all had that bad Walmart experience. But with managers like Don, Walmart will continue its excellence in customer service.
I was able to find everything I needed easily; positive connection with other shoppers; great check-out experience: my cost was under budget and the cashier was efficient and as pleasant as she could be. It was another two thumbs up Walmart shopping experience!
It seems that they dont keep there shelves stocked so i end up going else where. They never have enough registers opened up so it is never a quick trip, and now they close down there customer service at 7 pm. I dont much look forward to shopping there, i like there prices but if they dont have what i need why bother, i am thinking about finding another place to do my grocery shopping at.
Its not the best or worst Walmart Location to do shopping. But it does lose some of its rating because depending on when you go if you need help, sometimes you wont get any useful help. Then you also have that they rarely have enough cashiers to keep up with the foot traffic so theres almost always a long wait time, so no get in and get out tends to happen.
The produce are section smelled rotten. Allot of the shelves were empty. Some of the produce was obviously no good. I didnt buy any produce because of that or there just wasnt any left. Many shelves through out were bare. Not a good selection of product at all. Looked like they are going out of business. Staff was friendly and helpful though.
This place has great friendly staff. Willing to chat, and take the time to explain or help you locate an item or area. There photography department has only one GOOD employee. (Ryan) is pretty knowledgeable about not only the photo lab; but effective and efficient digital media storage. Hes willing to explain items to you or suggest less expensive options. Thats true, and honest help.
I understand this Walmart franchise isnt big or fancy at all. Every month people line up at the customer service center to pay rent and such and theirs only one person at the checkout. And also they wrapped the line along the wall so the tellers cant see how big the line actually is which also gets in the way of some people. Put it back the way it was.
The most poorly mis-managed store tonight but it’s not the 1st time. Lots of employees standing around doing nothing while 2 registers are open with lines 6-8 people deep. I spend at least $300. a week here but will never return again.
Lots of employees around in the morning. No one seems to have cleaned the floor in a long time. I saw an autobot cleaning driverless down only the middles of each isle. Under shelves were blackened linoleum sheeting and grungy residue build up. I went to the pharmacy otherwise I wouldnt have gone since my banking info was stolen at this location last visit at the red box inside the building by the exit.
Good prices friendly staff. Home Depot and PetsMart are next door. Update: supply problems are also here but they are doing their best.
The staff is friendly & its usually clean. They dont have a lot of variety in their selection of products (especially organics) & they dont have any electric carts for those who are disabled. For convenience, its more corner store, as opposed to a grocery store (like Safeway), but it has more (a bigger freezer section, at least) than Walgreens, for example. I use that pharmacy, which is the only reason I end up shopping there.
The reason why I am giving the location a five star rating is due to Stephanies well rounded customer service in the customer relations department. Im going to stop shopping at all Walmarts. They have one full checkout line for every 3 to 4 self serve lines. Im not doing a job because theyre TOO CHEAP TO PAY EMPLOYEES TO DO! They need to be run out of town. Auburn, CA was smart to NOT ALLOW THEM to operate there.
Small but efficient. Many self checkout registers. During certain times lines can be long at the traditional checkout. Overall friendly grocery staff. Pharmacy not so much. Sometimes the selection is limited. For over 2 months theyve had a roll back on cherry dr pepper. However Ive only been able to purchase once in 17 visits. So in certain situations youre better off at a traditional wal mart.
Always good to get my last minute grocery shopping for the week. I go during the 9-10 window and its not crowded and always pretty stocked at that time.

Smaller Walmart, convenient if you already know what they dont stock. Odd problem at check out when both cashier and bagger would not assist with putting small 8 lb. turkey into a bag or into my cart. Any bags. Did I Never notice this stores employees would not help ? I am disabled & seldom can lift over 5 lbs., ..so I believe I would notice before Nov.2017. Will not shop here again.
Staff are pretty friendly and it has pretty good variety. My only complaint is that they easily run of stock on some items. Its not always the same item but it seems like they dont watch out for in demand items that may come up on the calendar. e.g. Ordering more Hot Dogs prior to the 4th of July
The store is barely more than a 7-11. The majority of the time whole shelves are empty. There is no variety. Last night i ran down there to get some cereal for my husband who had a motorcycle accident and was craving a particular cereal, it was 10 min until 12 and there was an unfriendly girl standing in front of the door telling people the mgr decided to close up early so the employees could get out by midnight. I had just watched her let 3 other people in and heavens it was 10 min to closing and all i needed was a box of cereal. She said Don, the mgr. Said to keep everyone out. Poor poor business practice. There was another guy who came up after me wanting some cat food. He continued standing there talking to her and before i had even pulled out of my parking space, she had let him in too. Bad management. If their hours are until midnight they have to keep their doors open until midnight or change their hours. And certainly dont practice discrimination.
This is the worst Walmart Ive been to. They have the absolute worst customer service center. And the employees all look like they hate their jobs at this location. They need a new Crew and better people behind the customer service counter. There are extremely slow at their jobs. The line is always long no matter what Time of the day it is.
I shop at this Walmart Grocery Store all the time. Its a small clean and friendly place to shop. My issue is that it is always under stocked. The produce is not fresh and the dairy isle is always out of products. I leave there saying to myself why do I continue to shop at this store! Out of convenience Im guessing.
Picked up a couple items at Walmart. Also, stopped at Home Depot for a home repair item. Still a great center to shop several stores quickly.
I live around the corner but rarely shop there anymore. $500 was stolen from my reloadable VISA card hours after I loaded it with $500 cash at their customer service counter. Walmart refused to give it back regardless of the paper evidence I provided. It took my credit card company 2 weeks to get my $500 back. Be carefully and keep all your receipts.
It was a good experience. The store was neat and clean and the easily accessible. It was in the evening hours so not a lot of registers were open, but j enjoyed being able to go in quickly and do the self check out in a timely fashion.
Our cashier was Sofiya. She was very sweet and helpful. She made nice conversation and even walked our groceries around the register to put them in our cart. Will definitely come back here .
The neighborhood is a little scary and theres homeless people or tweakers hanging around most of the time. Its a good store if you need to make small store runs or quick stops. I was able to rent a rug doctor from there which was convenient.
Place was crowded and staff disorganized. Cashiers appeared overwhelmed and self check machines were out of basic change with abandoned merchandise cluttered on them. One cashier helping asked us if the abandoned goods on the conveyor belt left behind by two ladies who had just left the self check-out machine without paying with several goods out the door if their remaining items were my roommates and mine. We told them they were not and they just left them they to pile up. Good grief!
Called ahead to check if they had something in stock. Whoever answered the phone confirmed they had it and also asked another employee. I show up to the store and ask the employee for help and she immediately is dismissive and says they don’t have what I’m looking for. I proceeded to tell her the app says it’s in stock and also referenced my phone call from 30 minutes prior to arriving. She didn’t want to hear it and definitely didn’t want to help me. She would not check their system for it and also told me the app is always wrong. Why have a POS system and an app if it doesn’t give information? She proceeds to condescendingly tell me “I’m a consumer too.” Well, I work in customer service as well and would never treat a customer like this. Even if something isn’t in stock, you help the customer find it at another store. I am extremely disappointed and won’t be coming back.
Good place, with low prices. But be careful with meat, I had an experience of buying good fresh red steak, but being rotten on the bottom. It was invisible until I came home, opened the package, and turned an upper slice of steak.
The overall customer service is pretty much on point but I have a complaint regarding service at the pharmacy they need to have better Customer Service Skills and the Wait on phone is ridicules. Train your staff to better serve your customers and not to wait long on the phone. Thanks
Its walmat.. this one i try to avoid because EVERYTHING IS LOCKED UP. I mean you cant even get a toothbrush or laundry soap without having to call over a someone that sometimes never comes.. very annoying.. Id rather go to target and pay more to not have to be treated like a criminal.. also they never have Carts and you usually have to find your own. They also let people walk around without a mask..
Bad service n rude employees. Not enough variety n price higher than regular Wal-Mart. Money Gram doesnt seem to work whenever this white girl is working customer service. It worked out for me..I found a place that sends money for $1less down the street called Cash 1. Parking lot is dark, looks unsafe.
The absolute worst customer service Ive ever experienced! This was my first time in here in years, and Im greeted by some dude who accused me of stealing a few hours beforehand! I was absolutely floored. Never going to this place again.
I like the neighborhood Walmart very much except these days so close to Thanksgiving and Christmas they always seem to run out of the ingredients for spinach dip especially the spinach I was lucky enough to find one organic but that costs over dollar more to by which doesnt make any sense to me the people who order need to remember the there is Christmas parties and people do the spinach dip because its so wonderful please dont let this happen again on Christmas or the day or 2 before please thank you
Like most Wal Marts the parking lot is terribly dirty, garbage and carts liter the entire area. Staff is very helpful and nice although the registers are understaffed making for long lines. Prices are good, better than Raleys prices down the street.
I like some of the staff they are very nice.....but they need more supplys yes Im aware that Covid 19 is happening but if u dont take it out of the box and put it on the shelf how do we know you have it

The Fruit there wasnt fresh. The bananas were over ripe. ALL of them, including the ones still in the storage boxes. And the other fruit selections were soft turning brown. Otherwise, the rest of my shopping went well.
Worst Walmart in town. Under stocked after 3 pm. They all go on break after 4 pm so theres no checkers during rush hour and youre forced to use the self check, which they never stock with bags. Just poor management and a bunch of careless young uncaring employees that clearly dont want to be there! I try to go to the Birdcage location on Sunrise. Same employee type, but they are always better stocked.
First time in this store and I wasnt able to find what I needed but what can one expect during a pandemic. The store was clean and checkout was speedy. The atmosphere was inviting.
I really miss having a larger store nearby. This simply doesnt have the same selection of groceries. Dont even try to get everything on your grocery list around the beginning of the month. Its weird, but it seems like they run out of most stuff around then???
This Walmart is always out of general things. Packs of bottled water, refrigerated pickles, etc. Produce looks ok the day I buy it but goes bad really fast. Even when stored in the refrigerator. Also there have been times Ive bought produce (strawberries, grapes) that look good on the top but theres moldy fruit in the middle. But it is quick and convenient for the most part and the prices are good so thats why I gave it 2 stars instead of one.
The lines were so long. I went there to grab a small cake and it took me 30 minutes to get out of there. The most time wasting trip I have ever taken. Worse than regular walmarts. Was very disappointed with the lack of customer service. No one helped, they all seemed to be lingering and mopping around.
Every damn time I go to that Walmart and every damn time all bags of ice were out!! Why ?????? Also there are not many clerks to help everyone on floor. We really need to get all new managers and asst managers replacements for better service for us and the community. If it has not improved then will notify CEO of Walmart back to east. Also at damn nights almost all food on the shelves are empty. Poor service and training. they need better training on their job.
The cashier was super rude, did not listen to us, did not apologize when she miss heard and could not see the cash register correctly. She was super rude with her directions and blamed everything that went wrong on us. She also slammed her hands against the cash register.
He employees do not acknowledge you when they pass by. I had a manager the other day stocking tooth paste right where I needed to go. He never said as much as a hi.The pharmacy employees are by far the rudest, most unprofessional, unreliable of them all. I will turn in a prescription, they will tell me to call my workmans comp to get it approved. I will call and get it approved and have my Adjuster call them and they will still somehow screw up the process. Every month I have to go through this.Two years ago I slipped on rice someone had spilt in the aisle. It blended with the tiles. No one helped me. Had I not already been dealing with issues from my ankle surgery I would have perused it more. I hobbled up to customer service to tell them they might want to clean it up so no one else gets hurt.
Picked up a couple of Bang energy. Was looking for something else also but couldnt find it. Oh well, this is the supermarket Walmart. Cant expect the same product availability as the super centers. Other than that, I cant complain.
Im really glad that theres a Walmart in this area because theres not too many supermarkets around here. Not only do they have all the essential food items but they have a large pharmacy area in case you need Band-Aids and stuff like that. they do have a self-checkout but if youre going to buy alcohol you have to go through the regular line like any other Walmart. I came here fur arnica gel which is a natural pain cream and also on Thanksgiving they were open so I could get a pumpkin pie and some whipped cream. Its in the same shopping center as Home Depot in case you need more intricate housewares.

The workers are rude if you need help or ask questions and theyre out of oh lot of products on a regular basis very disappointing
Needs better variety! Shop here alot because it is behind where I live. But if you want quality..not the best place. Cheap but you get what you pay for! Some of the people that work there are really nice so I keep going back!
Its an ok, needs some type of uplift BUT!!....why are the shopping carts so far out from customers reach. It is very inconvenient. I blame it on management, theyre supposed to keep ALL things in order. Im leaving my options open to Target, WinCo etc etc.....
Third month in a row the pharmacy messed up on my sons ADHD meds and didnt have it in stock which is very very important that they have this in stock especially if its a 3 months script I dont understand the pharmacy its like the pharmacist is lazy and doesnt do her job I dont know I understand it happening one time but three times come on now
Well today I went to exchange UNOPENED batteries I had bought at a walmart miles from my house to the walmart closest to me. I waited in line for about 30 minutes. When I got to the customer service table I was informed that their manager all of a sudden decided to change company policy about exchanges! I had called the Wal-Mart before going to ensure I could make the exchange and was assured that since they were unopened with the receipt that it would be fine!!If you are planning on changing a policy that is company wide for just your store, maybe you should let your customers know so we can not shop with you! Or get a stupid sign!!!!
Prices are great. The produce isnt so good though. Not as fresh as it should be. Great place to shop for everything else though. Very busy stores, very hectic atmosphere. Ive never seen more than one checktand open so theres always a wait checking out.
I went to customer service to get a money order and ended up waiting half an hour because the Wal-Mart associate didnt know what she was doing. When the managers see that the line for customer service is that long they need to get somebody who knows what theyre doing.

I love this walmart! I just moved here a few months ago back in August..and ever since my first visit, I had nothing but awesome experiences, night and day! I grew up in a small town and moved around so I know about bad staff, ghetto stores and whatnot. This walmart is so not like that. Honestly, you should not be disappointed when you shop here for your grocery needs, I know Im never disappointed when my boys and I shop here!
This neighborhood Walmart is like a giant quick-e-mart. They dont always have what youd expect a regular Walmart to (i.e. theyll have ladies dress socks but none for kids) on a day-today, however theyve got a LOT of stuff. ALSO - they do not sell beer or liquor after 1030pm.
I would have given 1 star, but the prices are good for food, and thats the only saving grace for this location... The products they stock are slim, prices seem to have gone way up on some items that they barely carry any of, for instance white school glue, it used to be that they had different brands, but when I went, there was nothing stocked at all and it was cheaper to go to another retailer anyway. Employees are some times rude, as I have seen a few of them mocking customers behind their backs blatantly after helping them, and have reported this to management on several occassions. I avoid here really, and only go to this location if it is a dire circumstance.
Im sick of going to 3 separate stores 2 twice ...And not being able to get my Dr Thunder in the cases! They Never order enough n are Out 4 outta 5 visits.. Waisting my Time, Gas n Energys...😑😒😓
I like Walmart BUT dont like how they are putting cameras everywhere! I dont steal but heard why they are putting cameras is because they are going to do FACE IMAGE of people, to know who you are! Thats wrong, thats none of there busy who we are. So Im shopping more at Bel Air.
I like it because its really convenient for groceries. The store is just right for small or large grocery shopping. My main reason. Is that it close by. And you dont have to wait in line.
Every time i go here there stock is down never any iceberg lettuce mix, only one checkout open, and twice in a row i stood in line for at least 5 min. With less than one bag of items and as soon as i put my stuff on the belt they walked up to the person behind me and took them with a half full cart to another ckeckout.
This one on Manzanita sucks. They never have half of what I need to buy and end up going somewhere else.
If I have an option I pick any other store rather than this one. Very limited stock. Quite often whole shelves are empty. The bakery department needs help. The chocolate Bundt cake is so dry it makes you choke, their apple bread, etc. Is also dry and you can hardly taste the apples and their produce Dept. Is full of unflavorful fruit and veggies that are overpriced. And its always freezing in there. Remember to bring your jacket even when its warm outside. You will freeze in there.
This Wal-Mart is just a grocery store and pharmacy. The store is well stocked but they have mostly self checkout lanes. There is usually only 1 cashier. It takes longer to check out then it does to shop
Clean store. Super friendly staff. I can get 3xs the Ceasars dog food bag for only $5.00 more. And So Delicious cashew milk ice cream cheaper as well.Im not pro box Wal-Mart stores but these smaller are good for me.Peace
Not a bad location at all. Parking can get a little crazy but the store is typically stocked. Produce is fresh.
They rarely have what you need in totality. Very peanutbutter no jelly. Its so hit or miss with these guys that if your not shopping there early in the morning before 11a.m. your out of luck on completing your grocery list.

They are always out of everything.... Maybe Wal Mart should hire more truck drivers... For about a year it was much better then bamm the last month or so its back to shelves with big gaps where there should be groceries
Shift manager martha is horrible and never smiles unless a man is talking to her. Its unprofessional and I hate watching it happen on walmarts dime.... I wish the customer service was better here because i literally go there like everyday because its between my home and work. Also i hate watching 2-3 workers standing around in the front of the store while there is only one cashier and the rest is all self checkout, and you always have to get manager for some kind of problem with the ringing process....and towards the end if the night thats always martha!! She sucks and takes her sweet time to even notice that theres a problem.
Quiet little place with lots of surprise vegan options. Will be definitely coming back to get those items. But be warned the money order machine here is almost always broken down.
They never have enough cashiers...manager in that store is INVISIBLE...this happens ALL THE TIME...only reason I go is if Im coming from Home Depot...ugh😡
Always easy on the mind to shop at the neighborhood markets. Cashiers are always nice, but slow in a good way=) theyre thorough in making sure your counts are accurate or that you get the best deals.
My experience was terrible I took a mental disabled person who gets paid her check through a payee he gave her a check off her account to be loaded to her Walmart card the customer service representative in Walmart thats Carmichael California on Madison Avenue and Manzanita is properly known as Sacramento thats where a lot of skinheads reside the guy gave me all kinds of pressure of cashing a check and denied cashing it and all I can say was racially motivated because the woman had all her proper IDs and it and cashed a check of the same liking at the Walmart on Watt Avenue this store is located in a neighborhood with a Democrat fix are low income and majority minorities live there

Worst Walmart Ive ever been to!! Lots of items out of stock and today I went in and they had no bags!!!!! Thats what you call bad management!!!!
They keep their carts outside, so if you happen to go while its raining or after the rain, you only get a wet cart. About half of the associates I encountered ran right into you on purpose and didnt say sorry or excuse me, they block aisles and have no concern for customers, and the front end supervisors belittle their associates right in front of you. Their fresh meat is always frozen in the middle, and browns quickly in your fridge (Im talking next day). And their non-refrigerated produce is always half rotted or bruised very badly. They are constantly out of many make up items and shelved goods. Ive been to many Walmart stores, and this one is one of the worst Ive ever been to. Dont get me wrong, there are a few nice associates, but not enough to make up for all the blatantly rude ones. If you need to go to Walmart, I suggest going a little further down the road to a better one.
Very convenient. But security seemed to have an eye on me and my 2 small children buying cereal....maybe a super duper store next time. They may have more to do.
I am 8 1/2 month pregnant and was with my husband and two kids, we just got on WIC and needed to do some shopping. We dont have anything except the checks to tell us what to get. We looked for the WIC stickers and couldnt find them and had to ask 2 people who worked there what we are able to get. One of the workers had a panflit to know what brands to get so we asked if we could have one, the guy said no and to ask the check out. When it was time to check out... the register lady (no name tag) was about in her 60s and gave nothing but attitude, had my husband search for the proper item we needed then told us we were not bright and should have brought a panflit I asked her if we could have one and she said no. We were standing there trying to get the items while the other was there with the kids in line and I start getting contractions she told me that I couldnt sit anywhere and that I needed to either pay for the items or leave. Never have I been so angry in my life!!! We had no help or guidance and was refused to talk to the manager!!
Pharmacists her are awesome. Pharm Tech Ace rocks! Moved out of the neighborhood but still go to this location. Always friendly and know who we are when we come in.
Wouldnt go here if i were you. Poorly stocked. Bad selection. Dirty floors. And a pretty shady neighborhood. They have cameras on every aisle and they make sure you know it. Last time i was here some lady tried to take a picture of my credit card at check out.
I like this store because if you need some food, or produce for your home quick, you can stop by and get it. Good pricing and location.
Very convenient shopping. Never crowded while shopping but the lines can get long with limited cashiers. Overall a good spot to grab necessarily items.

Money order machine STILL broken. Month 4th in a row! Now standing at a walmart near by and the line is 19 people deep for M.O. This is insane!!!!fix your machine so people dont 1.) Have to go to two places2. Be forced to wait in ridiculous lines3.) Experience such horrible service
They are not well stocked. Lot of things locked up. Have to ask for bags at self checkout. Stop you at the door to scan receipt. But its convenient
Great place for a quick shopping trip. I make it a policy not to post a review unless Ive visited the business at least 3 times. That being said. Although, my first review was very good at 4 stars, the customer service has gone down, as the prices rose. Too bad.....
I have 3 bad experience with the ASSISTANT manager MICHELLE. Today she stopped me to check my receipt and bags. I have no problem with this well she first tells me my bananas thats ON my receipt only charged me a cent. It didnt weigh correctly. She proceeded to look through my bags. Once she got finished she says I didnt pay for the bananas which was on my receipt and bans me from the store.I ve asked her who was her manager and she claims there is no store manager but she is an ASSISTANT manager. Im a single mother that only shops there due to transportation. This was my last strike with her i was pissed! So I left and called corporate i explained everything that happen and sent this complaint to to the manager thats above the store and he will be investigating and Im suing. Dont go to this store its too stressful! It needs to be shut down!
The store is clean and stocked well. The parking lot is clean and carts are not messed up. Because it is a neighborhood store there may be items not in stock at this location.
Very convenient quick and easy location next to Home Depot in and out much better during the day friendly staff employees easier parking Etc nighttime not so much being this specific location otherwise I give it one thumb up.
Nice store. Its a lil bit small (the store itself & its parking lot, so, finding a spot is a pain). Not as easily to spot from the roads. Usually pretty busy every other time Ive stopped here coming home from work.
Perfect location. The employees are always nice to me. I live one block from Safeway, but, I drive 2 minutes to Walmartfor massive savings.
Its Walmart. What more can I say? I used to live in this neighborhood and always wonder if Ill see someone I used to know. As it happens... I havent. Most of the people i see shopping here make me thing of typical Walmart people...
Glad to have this store in the neighborhood, however not happy that they seem to almost always be out of Great Value brand 1pound bags of sugar and they dont sell single serve bars of ice cream. I always like having an ice cream bar when I leave from shopping
Great place to wash your car. Clean Quiet and most of all....2.00 to start wash....not 4.00....plus vaccume for 1.00 and you get your whole car done. LOVE THIS PLACE.
This walmart lacks some things the other ones carry, they customer service is closed during pandemic so dont expect to buy batteries, is well stocked with diary and meats though
The fruit and vegies always cheap market price but low volume of them so always ask them to restock if there out. Over 8 registers but just 1 or 2 with checkout people 2 -3 self service usually open and 2-4 self service broken. Dont shop during lunch time or peak hours its just not worth the long waits.
There are a few great workers in a store that doesnt have what I need. My girlfriend and I go to target just because they are reliable.
Having a full size truck i found the parking a little tight but the store was nice.. I found what i was looking for and was back in my truck and on the road in notime at all..
This is just a walmart without the clothes, toys, and sporting goods. The produce is,usually pretty close to going bad, so its often not worth the cheaper price. Most of the check stands are self chwck-out, so be prepared for that. Prices seem normal for a wal-mart, which is a bit lower than the regular grocery store.
Its an ok store but every time I go there theyre out of something I need.. also some of the employees are very unprofessional and rude. Rather go to a different one, whenever I can.
If your young black & wearing your old/skate clothes in my case you will be racially profiled by one of their workers if you walk around with shopping with your shopping cart and backpack. It may not be right away but Im sure itll happen, I say this because Ive been in Walmarts from the East to the West coast & never was told to leave my backpack & the one time that did happen in my life at a Walmart my $1200 backpack with laptop & money was stolen by one of their employees so I will never trust their employees ever again. Other then that I believe the worker was being judgemental thinking I maybe stole my bag or had the intent to steal from their store. I feel like going to this Walmart would never be worth it again after my experience so Target Shall Get My Money From Now On.

There always seems to be enough staff there to help. Their stock is always usually pretty good besides one or two items missing. The staff is helpful and friendly!
It can get really crowded at times which makes it difficult because its pretty small. They dont carry a lot of products like the bigger walmarts but its good for a quick trip for some things.
Veggies are substandard and potatos are crazy expensive. But I really think it is disgusting to have people taking recyclables in the shopping carts that I put my groceries in into the store to cash in. Most of those cans and bottles are dug out of dumpsters. If the recycling is going to continue to taken in store there should be a different color cart just for that purpose.

Nice but very small. Not much to choose from and continue hoping they will expand this store a bit more with selections. Suprising they dont sell items a tad cheaper considering they have not updated it in years.
This is not the place to come when you are looking for something. I actually like 2 blocks from this store and still have to go to the walmart on Watt. Ive gotten pretty good customer service there and appreciate the staff at this walmart.

Rarely is there an actual person running a checkout line. Forcing me to use self checkout or wait in an abnormally long line. Cant purchase alcoholic beverage theu self checkout. Overall thumbs down.

The employees are extremely rude to customers in general particularly to those of us with disabilities. Also the store for some unexplainable reason does not carry many common household or grocery items which even other Walmart Grocery locations carry. Unfortunately it is the closest store to where I live at or otherwise I would never step foot in it again!
Its a Walmart. Not a particularly exceptional one either. I hope you dont rely on anyone else (the employees) when entering. Get your things and leave, would be my advice. Avoid when possible. These are human beings though, do remember.
The service at this Walmart, is terrible! Every time. The store is a mess, the parking lot is always overflowing with carts, blocking parking spaces, and staff seems to think its a social gathering, chit chatting and on their phones,while checking you out. This place sucks! Go to a different Walmart.
Things are a bit more expensive here than winco depending on what you buy. Cheese, for example, is up there in price but you can find good deals on other household items although they are limited.
I love how they open 6 self service checkouts and no cashiers on duty but as soon as you start checking out one of the cashiers comes and gets in the way to help you scan your own items rather just opening up a damn check stand.

9 times outta 10 the customer service is great. Being close, makes it real convenient. The only thing Id change is closing at midnight, and be the 24 hour walmart.
Aweful since 33% of the employees in the company quit lines are ridiculous because everyone has to self ✔ they have no cashiers. Sad for one of the largest companies to do this to their employees. I may have to rethink & go elsewhere.
I shop at the Wal-Mart a couple of times a week always see a friendly face of a staff member...always willing to help with anything they are a great croup of people....
Usually easy to get in and out of here. Not as great of a selection as the bigger ones but its nice and clean.
I went early in the morning before the crowds. My only complaint? They were not accepting cash. For the entire store! Not accepting cash?!?! We are in serious trouble the day that happens!
Good place to stop on your way home just to pick up a few groceries. And fortunately do not have everything that I normally purchase so I tend to go to the bigger Walmart
Dirty, unfriendly, poorly stocked shields I truly was disgusted and felt dirty after leaving. Will never return to store for anything unless its the last open store on earth. Giving it 1 star is too many.
Local store. Good folks generally. Havent had any negative experiences outside of forgetting my card/cash.

2022-04-07Terrible Terrible Terrible...Got what I wanted.. Went to pay on Aisle #3, number 4 in line, the person in front to me had one item.. The cashier was by far, the s--l--o--w--e--s--t. cashier Ive ever come across.. Was in line for close to 25 minutes! Plus the store is DIRTY..! Im a pretty easy going guy, but this was absolutely ridiculous!Never again!!

Hot chickens and hot dogs on the right at the end. In the locker near the cash register, where hot дonaти, once found a very tasty, fresh hot cakes stuffed with onions and eggs, look carefully there are many things we do not notice ...

2022-01-24I frequent this location often as well as ordering groceries for delivery. They have good fresh produce. A decent meat selection. They always are stocked with the dog food I need for my pups. And they are open late enough Incase I need to run and grab a snack before bed lol

2022-01-10The Madison Ave location is terrible. There is no order. The representatives are inattentive and slow. Management was notified and she told another customer she would just have to wait and walk away - she then left for the day in a gray older vehicle. We waited one hour. I have never had a bad experience with any of the other Walmarts but this one is for certain the worse by far. Poorly managed and backwards in the meaning of customer service.

2018-09-25Nice staff but the store is so drastically under stocked that they should just shut down. I keep asking for items -- like dog food or half-and-half and I am told they had a power outage Sept 1 and they are short on stock (today is Sept 25). What does that have to do with paper towels or canned pet food?

2021-12-02I find the store adequate for my needs. Ive never had an issue with the staff. There is one exception: The greeter at the door. He really needs to retire or find employment that makes him happy.
