Never had a problem at this Walmart. I’ve been all over the country and visited many Walmart locations. The customer service here is beyond what you would expect from a small store. Hands down the best location in the country!!!!
Ive been in this location one time. The last time I was there, I waited for my friend in the truck. It got very windy very quickly and a dust devil went right over the truck. I wont go to this Walmart again unless I absolutely have to
Walmart has very competitive prices, it just needs to improve the attitude on some of its crew members and the aspect of the store, specifically on the grocery section. Unfortunately because of a few bad apples I can’t give them all the stars.
Service is good as always, but the stock of items were short got a few weeks now. Also, hair products like hairspray and gels are unorganized and mixed. Out of reach making it difficult to shop with easy. Products should be place accordingly and be professional care about how it appears to customers.
The fridges are all being replaced and their area was baracaded from floor to ceiling and the store team didnt bother to post a sign mentioning it. It took me a good 15-20mins looking for frozen food before giving up amd asking the staff where to find it to discover there are currently no fridges nor freezers at the stores.
Never buy a tv here cause they like to box the used ones to resell as new.
Shout out to Kassandra in the pickup department. So friendly, so kind, works hard, always moves with a sense of urgency, and treats my belongings with care. Thank you for always making my pick-up experience pleasant.
Experience was so so, two staff sent me to the wrong aisle. Finally an older gentleman know the exact aisle the item I wanted was.
The staff did not want to change their self prices to the lower prices that are online, most Walmarts will adjust their online prices versus store shelf prices but I had to ask a manager to come over. She finally agreed they will leave the online price which ended up saving me over $9
Just wish our store in Apple Valley was a super WalMart carrying more items and food. Quite a distance to go to Hesperia from here.
Love going there, even got husband new shorts it was amazing they had his size,6,7 thats Avery tall handsome man .😁and easter for grandchildren.dress for me and my precious daughter.

The old white lady that works at the makeup register today is rude. She always has an attitude. She snatched my bag out of my hand after I already paid for everything. She is rude every time I come in and needs to fix her attitude. Horrendous customer service.
For the most part its a good store at times it can get very frustrating theres about 15 registers and Ive seen only 2 registers open with lines so long its unbelievable the self check out has a line so long and theres no reason for that when you have so many registers this needs to be addressed
Soon as I find out how to apply to the position Im looking for at Walmart it will be more of an awesome experience for everyone because I think I will bring the Moji like Austin Powers dose in his movies Walmart will be that much better because I will be their helping the community find what they are looking for and being a social Butterfly 🦋 and communicateing with our community and letting everyone know who Im and how I can help in some kinda way. Went to Walmart to pick up paint. The mixer did not work. That seems kind of inexcusable when you have a whole section devoted to paint. Left empty-handed.
Seem to always have to solve problems yourself. Staff is never available even though there everywhere! They all just pass the buck till you give up and hope target will just have what you want. Had to call the store numerous times while in the store hoping to get help after already making contact with many instore employees. If they answer the phone.

Tried the curbside pick up for the first time. I shouldve asked the Walmart employee for her name because she did a great job in delivering order as quick as possible. Very pleased.

This Walmart used to be nice to shop at. Now they have little to no customer service. You cant try on any clothes. So end up bringing back the items. Out of stock in some areas. Isles are messy. Not a good experience overall. Kind of sad.🥲👎👎👎💔

Walmart needs to repair, restalk their electric carts. I dont feel its a courtesy as much as a necessity. Ill be investigating with handicap act. People with disabilities, as my self, cant shop with out that. Jan 5,2022 I waited from 2:45 to 5pm for the electric cart. One cart is all the Wal-Mart on hwy 18 in Apple Valley has. Its so frustrating. Then when it became available this cow sat on it and well I left at 5pm. Took my business to Target. I feel I spent $60 more than what I would have spent at at your store.Please get more electric scooters.Options:In-store use only... With long poles attached to it ORHave an employee walk them out and ride it back. And WHAT??? NO CHAIRS for people to wait their turn. Most if not all Wal-Marts are NOT handicap or people with disabilities friendly.Get it together Wal-Mart.Take care of your employees and they will take care of your stores.Take care of your customers and we will give you our business.
They will not price match their own items from there own app. The manager even complained that I was wrong even though I showed them after scanning the product in front of them.
Lady who does shelf check out must really hate her job. She has a really bad attitude stands over you while you check out but still watches her handheld as you scan your item. Happened multiple times with herUpdate.I have not been into walmart in months go in today with my family. Same lady who works self check out stands behind us an watches. As we are trying to pay she runs up behind us asking if we are doing 2 transactions because we didnt scan the cat food. We paid an showed the other lady our receipt. She then proceeds to get a duplicate copy of our receipt to see what we scanned. We asked for a manager because we are tired of thus treatment. She said she didnt watch us scan our item but then said we didnt scab the cat food. Umm thought you didnt watch us. Then changed an said we didnt scan out laundry detergent.

This Walmart should decide if they want to be a neighborhood Walmart or a Walmart superstore. They frequently are out of stock and things but still do try to serve you the best that they can. I appreciate it but would prefer the dedicated store one way or the other.

Always crowded, never enough checkout stands. Not everyone is familiar enough to use self checkout. There is never a person to help you find something. But Walmart is the place you love to hate. If they wanted to have fast food, get rid of McDonalds, and get something healthier and tastier. Not Subway either. Too many kids there. Start babysitting service. lol

Older store and much smaller than other Walmarts I usually shop at. The outside of the store had a lot of stragglers hanging around and lots of trash and debris in the parking lot. Once inside you will find just your basic needs with a small variety. Pricing was competitive and I found a lot of clearance items. I would shop at this store again if I needed to but it wouldnt be my first choice.
Clean, a lot of food missing but there were a few workers stocking up. Thank you for your hard work. There were a lot of people in line and a few employees mentioned that a lot of people called off and managers stepped in. Only thing wrong was the long lines but Walmart is amazing. One more thing. Im a single father so wish places like this had family restrooms so I can have privacy changing my daughters diaper.

Its ridiculous how long it takes to get feminine products out of a locked case. Dont go there if youre in a hurry. Their call button take 5 min to even notify the store youre in need of help.
This Walmart is very small in comparison to the other local Walmarts - it was difficult to get up and down the isles and lacking cashiers.
Needed to return some shoes that didnt fit correctly. The customer service department has the nicest staff Ive ever needed to deal with. Amazing customer service and non judgemental crew this far. Thank you for making my day easier and less stressful.
I love this petco location. All of the employees are friendly and just have a nice all around demeanor. The store is always clean and organized. I have also heard good things about the groomers at this location.
My husband decided to go to walmart for an oil change. Huge mistake. We bought a bottle of Lucas and gave it to them. They did not add it. They didnt use the oil we asked them to use and now our Jeep leaks. We have to go to another shop to fix what they did wrong and the technicians are rude. Also if you buy tires here they say bring it in to rotate the tires. No please dont. You have to pay extra to rotate the tires they put on. Mind you we paid for road hazard and free rotation when we purchased the tires. Do not go here for any kind of service to your vehicle!!!!!

Store is filthy and full of Crack heads. The employees also seem to really hate their lives.
Took over 2 hours for an oil change. I was the only car there at the time. Ridiculous. I also witnessed 3 other people have horrible experiences, one lady waiting 30m just to get her keys back and to pay and another person waiting atleast 2 hours for tires, they also didnt put his hubcap back on correctly because it was falling off while he was driving away, I didnt expect to have the best experience but it was worse than I thought possible.

Well its really simply put together for your whole family. Its every grandparents Wonder Land and every young childs Amusement Park and every parents Favorite Place to send their children with their grandparents to get the shopping list taken care of so they can get a much needed break from the every day excitement of having a family. So dont dread the shopping list anymore, just know that our local Walmart Store is doing more than just providing us a shopping center it gives us all that Free Day Care for our youngins and without realizing it Walmart gave us all a Happy Place for all of our wonderful grandparents.

Pharmacy techs are very helpful. Ive received flu, Covid and shingles vaccines from the Pharmacists. Store itself is clean and well stocked. Nice neighborhood store.

They obviously dont have nearly as large of a selection as the super Walmarts but you can find most necessities here. Less hassling you at the exits now👍
Be wary of where you leave your cart if you go into the cosmetics section, your cart could be taken even if there are a couple of items in it. I had to go all the way back and grab what i had in my cart.

The store is clean and well kept. What bothers me, is that its difficult to find an Associate when you actually need one. Ive pushed the button in Sporting Goods to call someone to assist me and if they do finally show up it takes about 15-30 minutes. I dont know if they just dont schedule someone for that department or what. Also, calling the store is nearly impossible because nobody answers the phone. If you are lucky enough to get the operator to answer, good luck getting the department to answer their phone.
Not the top Walmart Ive ever been to dont go here very often in Apple Valley. A sub store in my opinion have been worth the drive to go Hesperia store seems to me they must have a high theft problem.
I was able to find what I was looking for with the assistance of a sales associate who was very pleasant and helpful. The store was clean and well laid-out.I was very pleased to note that masks are required and they have an individual at the front door to confirm the wearing of masks as well as to keep track of how many shoppers are in the store at any time.

Wanted to pickup some car polish that I had seen on Walmart.com. After wandering the aisles in automotive, I finally found a display tucked away in a hallway leading to the service center, with exactly 2 products to choose from, neither of which were what I was looking for.
Dirty like always. They claim to have changed their hours to stock, clean and disinfect the store but that is clearly a lie. Self checkout is the only registers open lately. If I wanted to work at Walmart as a cashier I would have applied for a job there.
I only went for t- shirts, thats not to say it was a quick trip SHE has to look at it all!. Glad to see the CLAW game out front working again (been down since pandemic) I still got it, $1.00 in, one prize out
This is not a Superwalmart. There are no fresh groceries or a nice pantry selection here. The other departments were limited in items as well. Good for a quick in/out. Shelves and racks were empty.
This Wal-Mart was plenty sufficient in size, every one was very caring, knowledgeable & polite, with plenty of products to choose from. A very nice store
I love Walmart I love its prices its my favorite go to place, I can do all my shopping at one place. I dont care for the super Walmart its too big for me I have bad legs but my kids swear by it they love it.
Very poor service at the automotive department. The place is always understaffed and the few who are there are slow and have bad attitudes. I once waited 3 hours for them to put in a new battery - a five minute job.

As an associate of Walmart , I love this job. Been an overnight stocker for 6 years and I enjoy my work. I appreciate the life changing opportunity that walmart has granted me, and the equal opportunities that walmart has for me. This walmart usually has what you NEED but not much else. Small clothing sections, some food but not much else & a decent toiletries department. Definitely go to Hesperia/Adelanto/VV Walmart if you can afford the extra distance to do any serious shopping.
Never schedule any cashiers. Have to use self check out. And if you want to purchase liquor you have to go to beauty area to purchase liquor.
Not one register was open, just self serve. The line was down the aisle. The greeter at the door was very pleasant and apologetic due to the long wait.
It was my 1st time going to that one. The one closest to me is on Armagosa in Victorville. I went to the Apple Valley store to pick up an online order.It was clean. I like that. The employees are more friendly there. There were a mix of different races there which was a surprise to me. Im referring to both the customers and staff.Does it matter?, you ask. Yes. Yes it does. I like the fact that we can actually get along and live in peace. And there you have it!!
They had all the registers closed so I had no choice but to walk out and leave my basket full of items or do self check out which I had to wait in a long line to do! What the heck are they thinking ? I want them to hire more checkers not check my own items! Utter stupidity and out of touch greed!
Actually a better experience going here than the Hesperia and Victorville Super Walmarts, but being a smaller store the selections are not great and basically there is no grocery department. Good to duck in for sundries, over the counter meds and pet food.
They need more polite people that are more energetic and smiles cuz Im not to happy on how they do there service like a couple of times Ive needed help and all I got was the run around and then waited more than 15 mins and I was done I wont ask anymore cuz I wont buy from there anymore
What can I say..I really enjoy going to Walmart. My favorite one is in Baldwin Park California. Its always clean I can (98% of the time) find what Im looking for .The associates are always courteous and greated with good morning,afternoon or evening and a smile.
If you need help locating something youre looking to buy, only so many employees will help you, others just look at you and dont say anything, so customer service can be spotty

Walmart is Walmart. Cheaper prices, decent selection, but I guess you have to bag your own stuff sometimes. It took me a while to do since I had to stop, grab my wallet, pay, put away wallet, start bagging again. All the while holding up the line because my cashier was too lazy to. I see other cashiers doing it tho. She helped the other customer, then just stood there as I was still bagging. Lazy.

Went in to drop off a prescription thinking I would have to come back later, in under 15 minutes it was filled and I was able to find things I needed in the store, quickly.A new cashier was training in the garden department and handled my transaction efficiently. My gift card was not reading when I swiped it so she took care of it with several attempts - me, knowing its nerve wracking when youre training and registers are giving you a hard time, she handled it well as people were waiting in line behind me.
Thus is the only Walmart that carries the cleaners I need in fact they are the only place in the desert that does carry it. Staff is always friendly and polite! Thank you Walmart Staff!
It was good today I just dont like when they tell you THEY HAVE TO CHECK YOUR RECEIPT. No they DONT. I put my receipt in my purse with the rest of them I dont have the time to Dig and get it out Im trying to think of how Im going to put my items in my trunk and not get robbed at the same time😬 if you must know if I paid for what I have in my basket go to check stand #? Wal-Mart needs to check pockets Ive seen someone put a whole drill in their pants and walk right out.
I like this Walmart more than the one in Victorville and Adelanto. It has better choices on clothes, fabrics, house hold items, ect... lines were not so bad and the staff was very welcoming. Also, Target and Ross are almost across the street, thats a plus.

Too cluttered, too small. If you place an order for pickup, they employees will do whatever they can to avoid you and you will wait 20 minutes or more with no line. Their customer service area is a huge line of a nightmare at all hours as well. You’re really better off ordering online and not coming here. An upgrade to a Super Walmart maybe could help along with strategic staffing.
There customers service sucks I just called three times and was hung up on all three times it just kept ringing no one answered. They are unprofessional and they sent my order to a completely different city that I don’t even know of.
Has a large variety of toys for the children, and winter wear for the whole family from pajamas to outer wear. If youre uncomfortable shopping in the stores right now you can always shop walmart.com and get free pick up at the store later, or have it shipped to you or some other address. They have a little speaker outside that plays music thats completely different from the inside system, its pretty cute honestly.
I shop here once a week and have been doing so since the store opened many years ago. Its very frustrating now to have to seek permission to buy certain items. I waited today for 3 employees to finish their conversation and laugh at the joke before asking that one of the locked showcases be opened so I could buy what I needed. None of these employees had a key and no one else came to help. When one of the original 3 came back and asked me to move so she could stock a shelf, I decided I had become a nuisance rather than a customer so I left without buying any of the items I had wanted. I ended up spending $100 elsewhere. The one item I needed wasnt under lock and key there. It was nice being treated as a customer rather than a potential thief.
They have a lot of people working there but nobody wants to help anybody thats too bad too because Ive spent a lot of money with Walmart its too bad that I have to find everything myself and nobody wants to help me Walmart needs to enlist their employees in a sales and marketing class to teach them how to approach customers and how to upsell....

I ordered a tv for oick up, they showed in stock. Approximately 3 hours after I ordered it, someone called to tell me they dont have 1. I subconsciously ask her if any of the other stores had any, her response was I dont know, I asked her to check, she replied that she could do that. This is a mainframe system that goes company wide.
Trying to find somebody to help you at times is all but impossible. No has not changed, always busy.
Was not impressed. With the way they handled the two long lines. 30 minutes before closing one of the employees handpicked which people in line. She wanted to check out according to how much items they had to check out. I was second in line at the cashier. The employee came over looked at my basket and decided that she wasnt going to check me out and proceeded to check out about seven or eight other people that were behind me with less items to purchase. Shouldnt it be the next in line gets help because we were standing there in line me and some other gentleman who was ahead of me for at least 20 minutes. By the time I finally got to cashier with my coupons I was informed that they would only take 2 coupons per purchase. So in the end I ended up with four separate receipts and six people behind me were delayed even longer with the new policy about two coupons per purchase. I didnt understand that at all worst shopping trip ever.

I had to buy a new battery for my car. Brody from the tire and auto service helped alot. He was friendly and welcoming! He did a great job on my battery installation. After he suggested I get my oil change done as well. So I did again he did an amazing job! Definitely will come back for service. Brody is great worker and has amazing vibes!

I come in to have my oil changed in my car. this is the only place I go to.. why you ask because of the mechanics there are great very respectful. just great people.. and most of all I trust these guys with my car. Always a great experience.. where else can you go get your oil change buy pajamas and buy some food love my Walmart
Prices are pretty low, but you arent getting fantastic goods. Most definitely good for people on a budget, especially the make up. Kind employees, though its my understanding that working there isnt the best. Its pretty clean given other Wal-Marts Ive seen.
Poor customer service at checkout. It took over 30 minutes at checkout with just 3 people ahead of me.my gallon of ice cream had melted.could find a employee to open a glass case.terrible custom services.
This Wal Mart store is dirty and items are not well organized..Not much selection. The surrounding premises was dirty during my visit..Carts are all over the parking lot..Understaff..
Bad experience, tried to get some assistance to open a locked feminine hygiene area but couldnt get anyone to respond to my repeated pushing of the assistance button. Its alright but the employees work like snails they dont move with a sense of purpose they dont hire people who really want to work they cant wait to get a smoke break and they like to put you on hold when you are trying to buy stuff from there some employees are ok but the mass majority of them are lazy that is why they are eventually going to close all wal marts maybe its management because they like to keep their employees from working full 40 hours a week so they can keep from giving them benefits

This Walmart was packed with all kinds of great offers. The place was clean and even though it was busy they checked everyone out super fast. Very good experience throughout. Pharmacy was awesome. Garden center is big with plenty of selection. Please ‘like ‘my review.
I like it they need to be stocked up on things they sell alot of and not be stocking shelfs when its the busy time of day. Plus why arent they wearing gloves. Or sanitizing the carts like other stores.
Was from out of town, decided to stop by to see if they had stuff in stock, because none of the Modesto. Turlock, Manteca. Ceres, ever had anything in stock, and to my surprise, they had the mens tshirts I buy in stock, the and1 shorts I buy for my kids in stock. They do need more sizes, like xl and 2x.
Much cleaner than it has been in the past. Employees are more visible and helpful. Downside, inventory is always low. I like the location thats why I continue to shop there. Not easy to get through a quick checkout, never exists, lines are always long.
Well the problem i had was the Tide pods are locked up. The issue is that I asked 3 employees and no one had a key. If I was Tide I be mad cause I am sure I am not the only one who has had this problem. So I bought detergent that I usually dont buy. I mean how many employees do I have yo ask.

I know it is a Walmart but getting harder to get attendant assist at this location. they kept announcing thru the speaker to let available assistant know but no one showed up and I gave up getting an item in the locked cabinet.
Worst Walmart Ive ever been to. Pick up is at the BACK of the store; and their quarantine efforts are horrible. Employees not wearing masks and some partially wearing theirs. Why even bother. Never again will I go to this location. Ill save my money and efforts for Target across the street with curbside.
I will never go back to this Wal-Mart all the cashiers are so slow and the people in the self check out dont help the people who obviously need help. They dont clean the self check outs after theyve been used for the next person and they dont clean the shopping carts i just dont like that with covid going on

The grocery section is a pitiful 4.5 quarter aisles. Luckily there is a super target across the street and an Albertsons in the same parking lot. Despite this laughable setback, this location susprisingly has lower prices than other wall*Marts, and more registering open than almost any other place. Im never in line for more than 2-3 minutes on a busy day.
Its a smaller Walmart. But. They always have what I need. Clean. Well stocked. Ladies are always nice. They always have Frosted Flakes. ♡ Its sometimes better going the smaller store route. Less Covid People. :)
Walmart is great for a quick stop to get the one or two things you forgot, but I generally dont shop here often, especially not for full on shopping runs. Its usually far too busy for my liking. However, I will say the prices are generally decent, and the store is moderately clean.

Got in and out in 15 minutes tonight. It wasnt as crazy as i expected with the pandemic. Although shelves are rather bare, i still got almost everything on my list. Shelves wont be come morning. Very pleasant to not deal with all the crazy thats going on out there right now.
Pretty much it has everything you need lines a little long sometimes employees always helpful got to be shopper cautioun.

Its Wal-Mart so we go for the lower prices but right now during COVID-19, what I see is that there is staff in front making sure everyone who enters has a face covering but once they are inside the staff doesnt care if the rules are followed. If you have anyone with preexisting health concerns and need something from Wal-Mart it would be better to do order pick up and sanitize your haul before putting it away. Or just shop at Target yes it will be a little bit more but then you can shop in an environment that is safer ( not perfect, but higher propensity to follow the request for face covering).
I understand the stores may not be all what they were but they need limiting of the amount of people inside store to be able to avoid lines that go all the way back into the middle of the store and have employees policing the store for the social distancing I asked somebody to please move back you know the 6-speed and whatnot in its almost ready to fight and its just so not worth it so I think maybe they need to do that because especially in Walmart its very easy for people to have these types of situations
I shop at the Apple Valley CA store... Its not a Super Wal-Mart and I hope they leave this one just as it is. Its my favorite of all the stores in the Victor Valley area. Its not like the rest... A little nicer. Employees are nice and SUPER HELPFUL!

I always feel like family when Im shopping at Walmart, as I walk in Im greeted by Nathaniel hes even said welcome home which I thought was cute.
I was so impressed with help and I got my medication as soon as I got there how much better now. Before it was hard to get anything but now I just loved it .
I stood in jewlry dept. For 30 minutes.. and the checkout was a long long lines just to find it had no battery for the watch

Well we went and bought a Verizon phone because the assistant said that yes it should work on an existing plan with a contract but we could not activate it unfortunately. We would have to keep it on a prepaid plan so we are going to return it. On the other hand the store crew member that was helping us was super friendly and eager to help us and it made our visit a little bit easier despite the circumstances.
They usually have several checkout stands open which makes it quite easy to pay and go

2022-06-14I shop here only because its the closest to me. The Walmart by 15 freeway is bigger and much better. The service here sucks. Theres always a long line and its hard to get help. They either avoid eye contact or youre directed to the wrong isle for the item youre looking for. The cashiers need better training on handling transactions and providing better customer service

2022-04-29Didnt really like the new stile of shorts for spring & summer. I like mine to zip & button up not pull up like little kids clothes and the spaghetti strap tanks for women didnt like the colors to much 😞 So hopefully they get new stuff soon also it would be nice like super awesome if they could accommodate the handicap , the elderly , or someone like me who has vascular disease and my legs are very weak so I can only stand and walk for a could minutes at a time and have to sit to take lots of breaks in between and it is exhausting and going out to shop isnt as nice as it should be . 😓

2022-05-04I was only here for an oil change.The team was great but they are still understaffed so they close at 3pm.I just snuck in but they had to turn away other folks.This is the only reason for removing 1 star.I do appreciate the tech letting me know why the are closing so early and they have hired new people to support the later hours.

2022-03-29It was awesome the employees are all polite, friendly, helpful, and courteous. There was a mobility device ready for me to use fully charged. It was the best experience Ive ever had at a Walmart in the history of the corporation.

2022-06-03I asked where I can find one of their electric carts for the disabled. I dont have any for this store right now, said the attendant at the exit. I walked out. What is left to say? No carts, no disabled customers. Shame on you Walmart. Disabled customers cant shop at your huge stores. And you are ok with that.

2022-06-21Outpost Cafe was an excellent place to eat with my family and I ,especially on Fathers Day . I couldnt have asked for a better day . My wife and kids and I (even though we were short one son Lil Gil ) had a great time . The food was delicious and service was great . So you best believe we will be back .

2022-05-06Got some great stuff, all odd items: 4 ramekins, bamboo stakes for new sunflowers, colorful hanging flowers, hair spray and gel I couldnt find anywhere else, soy sauce. Wish there was more dry food goods.

2022-06-13My husband went to buy one thing at 9:50pm - he said all the employees were standing at the front door, not letting anyone in - saying they were closed! Obviously, they were not as they don’t close until 10pm. I’m sure corporate will have a few things to say about this!

2022-04-25This location is on highway 18, which makes it very convenient location. Its close from Target, 99 cent store, Ross, and old navy. The Victorville location is a bit bigger than the one in apple valley. However, it has every thing you might look for.regards,
