We found Dr. Barajas through Yelp. Our previous dentist no longer accepts Delta, which is a shame. Actually, it was a blessing in disguise! We found a great dentist in Dr. Barajas! He has the best team - Jules, Roxy, Michelle, and Christine. They were all VERY caring and personable. Great leader great team. I had some fillings done recently. I was very skeptical because I had bad experiences in the past. Dr. Barajas did a wonderful job. It was painless! What’s even more special was the voicemail message I received from Dr. Barajas himself checking on me. He wanted to make sure I was fine and even encouraged me to call him on his personal cell should any issues come up. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Barajas.
Update January 2022: Dr. Barajas referred me to an Orthodontist. At my ortho appointment a crown popped off. They called on my behalf and Dr. Barajas squeezed me in the very same day. I so appreciate having a solid relationship of trust with Dr. Barajas’s office. His office really cares about his patients. It really does make a difference… particularly since they’re sensitive to my dental treatment anxiety.December 2021: Came in for my cleaning and was greeted by name and they pronounced it correctly. Which is cool. They are very personable and it shows that every person there is in love with their job. It’s was cold and I was offered a blanket and asked what I wanted to watch on television - very accommodating. They recognize that we all have a choice in where we receive our dental care. They make sure you choose Dr. Barajas’s office. See you in 6 months.

I had a chipped tooth and Dr. Barajas put a new crown in about a week, the fastest and most comfortable treatment I have experienced. He was willing to listen to the explanation of my pre existing health issue so that I feel safe and relax during his treatment. He is very professional and caring. His assistant Roxie is very nice and patient attending all my needs during the procedure.

Confession time: its been a little bit since Ive been to the dentist. You know, Covid. But also because of a fair amount of anxiety for no good reason. But Dr. Barajas and staff are absolutely fabulous and take away any anxiety I had. Right off the back Christine is amazing. Dare I say she walk on water? She is so sweet and patient and a great communicator. And she got me set up in no time. I had the pleasure of working with Roxy and Dr Barajas and they both were so kind and patient. We mapped out the strategy to optimize my dental health. I look forward to working with them on the road map and promise to throw any dental anxiety out the window. I urge you to give them a try!
The best dentist I have been to by far. Every time I have left, I never have felt like I went to the dentist. No discomfort, my mouth isn’t filled with shavings or anything from where they were drilling or doing work. Love that they have spacers to put in your mouth so your jaw isn’t sore from trying to open your mouth wide enough. I can’t say enough good things! So glad I found them.

I recommend Dr Barajas. He is very professional and cares about his patients. I’ve been a patient for 6 years. Since I steeped the office I Had a good feeling. I had an emergency the first time I visited his office and he helped immediately with his diagnosis he was very accurate. I was seeing another dentist at that time and after seeing Dr Barajas I changed my dentist. He is the best dentist in San Diego.The staff is very friendly and kind, the office has state of the art equipment. Since COVID 19 they are taking extra measures to keep you safe. Went for a new patient appointment and so far I’m very impressed! Very welcoming staff and very knowledgeable. As far as I saw, a lot of precautions were taken into place to encourage social distancing and sanitized areas. As someone who has had a cleaning loooong overdue I felt comfortable there and very welcomed!Definitely a relief finding a dentist office I feel confident in making a return appointment for!
Fantastic dentist!!! This is by far the best dentist office I have ever been to and being a military spouse, I have had many dentists. Sherry (hygienist) is so thorough but extremely gentle and Dr. Barajas is an outstanding dentist. From the moment you enter the office, all of the staff make you feel welcome and comfortable. Today I had a routine dental cleaning. Prior to my appointment, there was a Covid Screening and entry process. All the instructions and steps were very simple to follow. All the personnel were extremely professional and welcoming all through out my appointment. Michelle, my hygienist was very thorough and gentle.I am always happy with this establishment and will continue to refer to others.
I love Dr. Barajas. He is compassionate and he has a great team. He has been my dentist for over 10 years now. He was able to get me in on an emergency today and make the appropriate referral to a specialist, which also was able to see me today. If you need a great dentist in East Chula Vista or South Bay, I highly recommend Dr. Barajas.
Dental work is not something you usually look forward to. Due to Covid, I had put off going to the dentist for a cleaning. Not only that but the last place I went to wasnt the most pleasant experience mainly due to the lack of great customer service. That is something that Dr Barajas and his staff definitely dont lack. The ladies in the office were both kind and extremely warm. The extra Covid steps helped me feel way more comfortable visiting the office.Now about my actual dental work. Wow, I felt no pain at all and it was actually the best dental visit I have ever had. He matched my teeth color perfectly. Truth be told, I am actually looking forward to my next visit. All I can say is Thank you Dr. Barajas. You have a new long time patient in me and I really appreciate that you called me personally to see how I was doing. That’s going the extra mile!
It’s always nerve wracking when you switch to a new dentist but everyone made me feel so at ease. Dr. Barajas is great and treats his staff with such kindness (you’d be surprised). Everyone in that office is an absolute pleasure and I’m so happy that I made the switch to them.
Dr Barajas’s office is professionally run. The staff and the dental assistants are polite and knowledgeable. The office technology is up to date, all of my paperwork was filled out online from the comfort of my home. When it’s time for a cleaning I get a friendly reminder via text. Dr. Barajas is warm, personable and friendly. Two years ago I was going to have a surgery and I had to have work done quickly and with very little notice. Dr Barajas’s office staff were able to fit me in and Dr. Barajas got the work done in time for my surgery. Afterwards, Dr Barajas called me from his personal phone to check on me and see if there were any problems. How many of your doctors call you from their personal phone number? My guess is not many. If you value professional work done in a clean friendly environment I would highly recommend Dr. Barajas

Weve been coming to Dr. Barajas for years. Hes a great dentist and the office staff is extremely friendly and knowledge about dental insurance. I have been a patient of Dr. Barajas for over 10 years now. The customer service is above and beyond. Christina has always made me feel welcome and valued. She remembers my children when they come with me and she even helps keep an eye on them when I cant find a sitter for my appointments. The staff at the office are always very kind and courteous. Cherry has been cleaning my teeth for a decade now, and she has always been great with her recommendations and tips. My teeth arent the greatest, but with Dr. Barajas and his staff, Ive been able to stay on top of them. I dont know of any service, where Ive been this loyal. Dr. Barajas and his staff are exceptional and I hope to continue going to them for all my dental needs!

DDS Barajas and staff are the most professional dental team. The lobby is clean, comfortable, with complimentary water, reading material, and video game area. Im seen right on time and concerns are addressed right away. Theres a personal feel about the dental treatment. The work is done in a professional manner and always paying attention to do the best work possible. There nothing more special then getting a phone call at the end of the day from Dr Barajas, asking how Im doing.
Everyone is kind, genuine and are very professional! It is rare to find a dentist who is honest and truly does what is in the best interests of the patient, especially in the self serving climate that we live in. It was definitely a pleasant surprise to receive a courtesy call from the doctor hours after my appointment to check in on how I was doing. I’ve had high anxiety over going to the dentist, but this is the first dental practice that makes it almost pleasant to visit. This company did everything and more to calm my nerves. They really listened and made sure I was comfortable with every procedure. My teeth and gums are so much healthier since I’ve been in their care. They give you great suggestions for long term care at home. The staff are great and I could not recommend this dental company enough!

She walked me through each step once I confessed how terrified I was. For her to show such empathy, I’m truly grateful. The Dr was just as phenomenal! All the staff at Dr. Barajas are very friendly. I have actually switched dental office last year and I don’t regret it. I usually get my cleaning from Cherrie. She is very gentle with my teeth. This office is pretty cool because they have two TVs for you to watch. One on the side near the foot of the chair and one on the ceiling for when you’re getting your dental work done instead of looking at the staff. I had many fillings and Roxanna was very attentive to my needs when it came to my procedure. Dr. Barajas makes sure I’m very comfortable when I’m getting my fillings. I have a very low pain threshold so whenever I still feel pain, he does the proper care for me to feel comfortable by numbing me more. He explains the procedure very well when I have an ample amount of questions and also takes time to show pictures of my teeth. My most recent visit Stephanie and Roxanna assisted on me with Dr. Barajas of course on my crown that I needed. They made the process less scary and comfortable as I’m the type of person who gets very scared/antsy when I’m in the dental chair. Stephanie explained what I might feel and also my post-care. She even took the time to offer me medications and water just in case I’d feel pain for later in the day. Something that Dr. Barajas office/ Village Walk Dental does differently from my previous dental offices is that he personally called me a few hours after my procedure on my filling back in December 2018 and also recently for my crown last week just to ask how I was feeling, if my teeth feels ok, and if I had anymore questions for him. I honestly think that’s very nice that he is concerned with his patients even at after hours because he doesn’t need to do it but he does anyways.
Always a pleasure visiting and staff’s very respectful and polite. The care they spend cleaning and caring for your teeth doesn’t go unnoticed. I would recommend this dental facility to my friends or anyone most definitely.
Dr. Barajas is the best dentist in Chula Vista, if not the county. There are plenty of dentist, but few with the integrity & skill of Dr. Barajas. Plus, there office is incredibly comfortable, I especially enjoyed the many televisions & the free headphones they give you while you get any work done. My family and I will never go to any other Dentist, I highly recommended.

I don’t usually go to the Dentist to get cleanings done, but when I do, I always have bad experiences. Luckily through recommendations of friends and family, I found myself taking a chance at Dr. Barajas office and I was not disappointed.I was greeted by the most welcoming staff and received top of the line cleaning without any pain or discomfort. It seems as if the hygienist that was working on me genuinely cared about my dental health rather than accusing me of not brushing or flossing. Great customer service and awesome job. With COVID restrictions felt that all precautions were taken and then some. Staff went even above and beyond than most do for safety precautions. Im currently pregnant and felt safer here at the dentist than at my own OBGYNs office. Felt very safe, office and staff were very thorough and clean (not only to my teeth), and they were fast.
Dr. Barajas and his team are outstanding!!! We had the best evaluation and dental cleaning ever. He also fixed a crown after having a root canal, he made it look and feel great again. I went on Thursday For my appointment for fillings, and it was great! Dr. Barajas Assistant (I think her name is Stephanie) was so nice to me and explained the procedure in the beginning. After that Dr. Barajas was guiding me through the process, and to be honest, I didn’t felt anything! NO PAIN!. Oh! And those headphones that they have were such a great idea to keep my mind distracted about dentistry, because I was so afraid of dentist until I knew them!Gracias Doctor Barajas y equipo! OMFG, This office is freakin amazing. I was looking for a dentist in the area and figured to give this place a try since it’s so highly rated.I went in for my first visit and after they took my xrays, Dr. Barajas came in, measured my gums (never had that done before) and then he started to take pictures of all my teeth! He showed me all pictures and explained the areas he had concerns on and even showed me the signs that I was grinding my teeth at night. Man, you know how they say, “dentists are like car mechanics,” - it’s true! After having such a great/thorough exam here, It really makes me wonder about all those other places I’ve been and if I had unnecessary treatment done. I’ve never actual images taken of my teeth to show me what’s really going on. Mad props to that!So during my exam, the dr said I needed a few fillings and I reeeeally didn’t want to have to come another day since I was already there. I asked they would be able to fit me in the dr’s schedule that day and it just all worked out that I was able have my fillings done the same day. Dr’s assistant, Rossy was super nice and made me feel comfortable the whole time. She offered me a blanket and kept applying Vaseline on my lips during the procedure so my lips wouldn’t get chapped.Oh dude... I remember reading a reviews about Dr.Barajas calling them later that night after their treatment and I was low-key waiting for my call cause I wanted to see if it was legit or not. I was starting to lose hope but It was probably about 8pm and lo and behold, I got a call from Dr.Barajas!! Not gonna lie, I was a little giddy like he’s a celebrity or something (LOL) But that was pretty awesome. That totally sealed the deal for me - this dude really takes pride in all he does!This office and the staff here have such a great vibe. You can just feel they genuinely care about you and your well-being. Ugh, I can’t say enough great things about this office. If you’re thinking about coming here, its totally freakin worth it!! You will seriously NOT be disappointed!
Dr. B is great as are his hygienists. I had to have some rather intense work done, and feared that once the numbness was gone, I might feel some irritation, but clearly the job was done in such a caring way, I’ve experienced no discomfort at all. Thanks Dr. Barajas and crew!

2022-01-13Today is my second time to visit this clinic. I would say that this is the perfect place!! Everyone working here are very accommodating and professional, caring, friendly and kind! Dr Eric did an awesome job! His assistant, Roxy is excellent! Jules at the front desk is also superb! You will leave the clinic happy and delighted! They are the best for dental emergencies!!! 2021-02-04I couldn’t be much happier with my new found Dentist Dr. Barajas and his whole staff. I had cracked a tooth one morning and needed to get it fixed. After calling a few dental offices around the area, Dr. Barajas office was the only one who was able to take and squeeze me in same day. Within 30-45 minutes I was able to be seen and get treated. They took all the necessary precautions during this covid pandemic so I felt really comfortable and safe. Office manager Christine, and his dental assistant Stephanie are very welcoming with such friendly personalities. Everything needed to be done were explained in detail prior to each procedure. Their dental hygienist Michelle is so nice and did an awesome job with my cleaning! I can’t wait to bring my whole family here next. I’m extremely happy with the care they have provided throughout my treatments. Every single treatment thereafter gave me no problems. Highly recommended! A+++++
