Service is very dependent on who you talk to. Have been here a few times to discuss a problem and get a new phone. Got superb, attentive service. Arrived in an empty store to find a woman clerk doing math problems on a yellow pad. She was perturbed to be taken away from her numbers. Seemed disinterested in helping and distracted until pressed. One thing to remember folks: never underestimate the intelligence of your customer and talk down to them. Not everyone is a tech wizard but if things are explained clearly, people will grasp what you are talking about. Your customer senses condescension. After the problem was solved begrudgingly, the clerk said, Okay, now I can get back to my work. Your customer is your work--not your legal pad problem. Most other representatives have been gracious and helpful.
I was unbelievably IMPRESSED with my service. Sal was exceptional, professional, leading the solution, made me feel confident, showed much compassion. Ive returned twice for help with something that I didnt know how to do, one of my issues was completely out of his job description. I made an appointment with him and he helped me fix the issue knowing exactly what to do, and took his time explain this to me. His main goal was wanting to empower me to have freedom with my devices. Me the NON-Techy, left feeling confident and happy to receive such great customer service! I would like two hire him to come work for me, but alas you NEED HIM to continue to shine in this industry and help others like he does. Thank you :)
Amazing customer service! They were so busy; The Store Manager Freddie & Assistant Manager Lynette were swamped. But they worked as a team and must have gotten through 15-20 people in a timely manner! Very impreseed with the Managers ability to multi-task when multiple people are shooting him requests and rushing him along. Thanks for your patience and I will be referring people your way!!
Simply amazing experience. We were assisted by Richard C. He was very knowledgeable and well-mannered. He provided excellent customer service and got us in and out of the store as quickly as possible (I had dinner reservations with my family). They truly worked as a team to make our visit very memorable. 10/10. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
Joe was the best Verizon employee that I have dealt with thus far. I have dealt with many over the years!, I felt comfortable asking questions if there was something that I did not not understand. He did not hurry me up ,bit took time to make sure that I understood everything.
Justin, the manager, has been helping me with Verizon for several years, even at the other 2nd street store when he was there. Now I go to this store because Justin became manager at this one. Im a senior citizen and Justin is always very friendly, helpful and patient. He couldnt be any better.

Sal was so helpful when I was having storage problems on my phone. I bought an SD card at Target and when I started googling how to put it in, some of the advice said you had to handle the card a certain way and I was worried about doing it wrong so I brought the card and my phone to verizon. Sal helped me insert the card and transfer some photos over to free up some space, and also recommended other methods of freeing up storage.
I called this place yesterday afternoon (12/31/16) to hold an HTC 10 because the charger port on my HTC One m8 wasnt working anymore. While I do have the insurance that covers that, I dont have the option of waiting a week for the same phone when my contract is up at the end of March. I came in with the intention of renewing my contract and upgrading early. The initial response was that I have to wait the full 2 years of my contract. Uhm... No. I stated that Ive been with Verizon since December 2009, so just over 7 years now, and that Ive upgrade and renewed my contract early before. I came to the conclusion they wanted to make a $700 sale off me on the last day of the year. That didnt happen. I renewed my contract for another 2 years and upgraded early like I wanted to. The service was fantastic and fast, other than that little ripple. If they hadnt tried to pull that on me, I would give 5 stars instead of 4. Its a sales job, so I get it. But again, Ive been with Verizon for over 7 years, you arent going to pull a fast one on me. I typically dont have problems with my phones, and if I do, Im technologically savy enough to trouble shoot it myself and their customer service is usually pretty good. So I technically dont have a reason to switch other than the prices being high.
LIES! All lies. First of all, this is a Verizon authorized dealer called GoWireless, not an actual Verizon store. Fine. However, they do not uphold the same values and customer service as Verizon. I went in for my upgrade, received my new phone, and was told by representative Gabriel Lee that he would give me a free protective glass cover for my phone that retailed at $39.99. He put it on, told me that if it breaks I can replace it for free. I thought it was great customer service at the time, and was part of my upgrade. When paying for my new phone, Gabriel Lee told me that the cost of the phone was $80 plus tax. I paid, signed, walked out of the store with my new phone. When I got home, I looked at the invoice. The $39.99 for the glass screen showed up as a charge, and a credit, as promised. However, there was a $79.99 charge for GoAdvantage Premium. When looking through my bill, it didnt show anywhere that this charge was for the phone, but for this GoAdvantage Premium. I called Verizon to inquire about the charge, and she knew nothing about GoAdvantage Premium. So,she called the store where I received my phone. Someone at the store answered the phone, hung up on her, and when she called back, no one picked up. My Verizon representative then called GoWireless at their 1-800 number. The GoWireless representative explained that the $79.99 GoAdvantage Premium charge was for the glass screen, 25% off accessories (of which I got none), and replacement of the glass screen if it broke. Verizon is unable to refund my money, because it is not a Verizon charge or product. I was blatantly lied to about where my money was going. I was blatantly lied to about the free glass screen. I am very upset. I have already filed a formal complaint with Verizon. My best advice to you...drive a little farther to a real Verizon store (theres one on 4217 E Willow St., Long Beach, CA, just about 3 miles away) to be sure you arent getting ripped off by these crooks.
This store has the worse customer service I have ever dealt with. Every other Verizon store I have been to, they have treated me greatly. The lady I dealt with today acted like it was an extreme inconvenience to help me. She would give me short answers to my questions and just had an attitude the whole time. There was no other customers in there, so I know she wasnt busy. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE!! Take the drive to any other verizon store in the area.
As Im writing this review on their store, Ive been on hold for 10 minutes and counting.I was immediately told to please hold and have been cooling my heels since.I just got a rep after 12:15 secs. He said he thought that might be a record. I sure hope so. He said someone went to lunch leaving them shorthanded. I said I was coming in and he said to wait an hour because he was going to lunch in 15 minutes! I cant believe someone doesnt open another store in the area that can deliver customer service. When I searched for others all I saw were stores that had closed. Am I missing something here, can anyone enlighten me?
I was having trouble with my iPhone; sometimes the iPhone would make connection to be charged or sometimes not make the connection. I took my iPhone to Wer-wireless verizon store on 2nd st. in Long Beach to see what could be done. Richard Cousart, the sales representative, listened to my tale of woe and said that he had the same problem with his iPhone. He took a paper clip and pulled out lint from the cord input: problem solved!While waiting 5 minutes for my turn, I observed how pleasant Richards manner was in dealing with that customer. I would recommend Richard Cousart to anyone using this store.
This is a horrible store and they do nothing but tell lies. I specifically asked upon my arrival if this was a real Verizon store or a spin off. They (MANAGER) lied and said they were the real thing but they are not. Verizon needs to take this franchise store off the market. They are hurting the brand.

2022-06-28After having my eyes checked next door, I wanted to see what the trade-in value was for my Samsung 4G phone, because Verizon was going to raise my bill. I met with Sean and after discussing my options with him, it was best to go ahead and get a 5G phone. He was polite and professional and help me navigate changing from my old phone to my new phone.

2022-06-29Went to this store on a whim hoping they could fix my phone...(slow charging & lost phone icon). I was promptly helped by Brandon who was very polite & assured me we could fix my phone without doing a factory reset...(which I was told at the Bellflower store). Another gentleman Misha came over to help as well, and saved the day by resolving my issue with a regular reset & good old YouTube video! Lol. They both recommended a fast charger, as truth be told I was using a offbrand from Amazon...I was so happy I didnt have to do a factory reset & was able to restore my S21 to its formal glory!🙌Thank you for the excellent customer service gents Brandon & Misha! You both saved the day for me...when I was already having a bad day. Remember...you never know what someone is going thru...Always stay kind.💙

2021-04-19Went to Verizon last week to get help with my phone as j couldn’t hear anything when someone would call. Left with a brand new phone and got an iPad ordered. Jack was awesome help! Answered any questions I had and completed the transfer process of one phone to the other for me. He was extremely nice. Anytime I have gone in here it’s been nothing but the best.

2021-04-07No stars. There was no on in the store and I had planned to go in this morning to change my plan and get help. He instead gave me a number for customer service and sent me on my way. I’ve never been so frustrated or irritated. I never leave reviews, but SAL assistant manager was not helpful at all! So rude. This makes me want to change from Verizon all together.

2019-09-11Service here is amazing. There is rarely too long of a waited compated to other Verizon stores. It has a family friendly environment and they dont make you feel like just a number. The manager Freddie was courteous and a great multi-tasker. Although I prefer all the attention on me, I was amazed at his ability to move from task to task engaging everyone and moving quickly and professionally along the way.

2020-07-22I love this little store. I find that I am always taken care of every time I walk in here. The staff are always great and they are observing proper procedure with COVID-19 by wearing masks and still serving customers with a smile (its there, you just cant see it :P). Would definitely recommend you coming for your needs. Keep up the good work!

2020-06-26Wow! What an experience! The store Manager Freddie was exceptional. He gave the white glove treatment and set up everything in my phone. This was greatly appreciated as I am a first time smartphone user. I recommend Freddie to everyone!
