Reasonable prices and they fix my baby backup and its running back up again normal. I reset it some how....welll I had too pay the price! and the time they said even A-day earlier than assumed. Plus Chris was great at explaining what 😳 happened and definitely going back.
First-class vehicle, third-class service.I purchased a 2021 X5 45e from Modesto Valley BMW on July 2021. It is a PHEV. After 5 months, a red light appeared on the level 2 charging cable. My electrician, using a voltage testing meter, isolated the problem to the adapter for the level 2 charging cable. So, instead of a short charge time using a 240V outlet, I had to rely on the 120V outlet, which takes longer.I presented my problem to a service advisor at Modesto Valley BMW, who in turn directed me to the parts department. The parts department was kind enough to reduce my wait time by swapping the faulty adapter for a new one.One month later, the red light reappeared on the charging cable. I presented my problem yet again to a service advisor, who in turn scheduled an appointment to have both the vehicle and the charging cable inspected.Today, the day of my appointment and mind you, this is now the THIRD time I have been to the service department, I am nowhere near a resolution. My vehicle has been in the shop all day, they identified the adapter for the cable to be the culprit. Then, I was told there isnt an adapter available in the parts department, so they would have to order. I guess I would be coming in for the FOURTH time for the same problem.I hope my review is received by the management at Modesto Valley BMW and that they seriously reevaluate their customer service in the service department. I hope they realize my frustration, the inconvenience I have to endure, and the time and effort I took to write this review over a silly adapter. While I was considering to buy another BMW, I hesitate only because of dubious customer service from the service department at Modesto Valley BMW.
I call two days ago to order the parts for my bmw after they take all my info then ask me to live chat. i did live chat again they ask me all my info after all this she told me part dpt will call you in few mints also they email me let me know we call you in mints after two days still withing.i do not how they do the businesses. and disrespect the customers.
Just spent the morning here for recall work. Was told it would take 2 hours, or 2 1/2 with a courtesy car wash. Asked to skip the car wash when 3 hours had passed, and was told it would be 10 more minutes. Left 40 minutes later with unwashed car. Apparently the rumors are true.
I would highly not recommend this place. I took my car in for recalls and a diagnostic. My radio was working perfectly fine when i took my car in. Once i picked up my car i noticed two fuses and a wire was laying on my center console. The radio wasnt working, i told them about this problem at first they tried to act like it wasnt their fault and there was nothing they could about it. I asked to speak to the manager and he told the advisors to send my car back to fix the problem they caused. Now my radio doesnt turn off even with the car completely shut off. There is no reason i should be having to pay to fix my radio when it was working fine before i took it into their dealership for something totally unrelated.
Its a good vehicle choice however the mechanics there are horrible. I didnt have any problems with my bmw until I went to this location. I request diagnostic to prevent future problems for my vehicle and ended up getting severe problems to cost me thousands of dollars months later. Those mechanics need to be replaced.
I bought a car from them. I’m happy with the car, my problem is with how they do business. I have no problem with the sales person who helped me. They were helpful. Meanwhile, management is super condescending, back track a lot, and ignorant to how vehicle inspections are performed. They tell you you’re being financed through one means but fill the forms out with a different lender and have you sign while reassuring you you’re with the originally stated lender. Etc. I love the car but there’s no way I’m taking my car to them for an honest diagnosis, repair job, or buying another one from there.
I was warmly welcomed in to the facility. I had many service requests, and was able to get a quote before I even had to pay. I enjoyed the customer experience, and the technicians keeping me in the loop of my vehicle. I found the video inspection of my car the best part of my experience since no other mechanic I have been to has done this. I plan on keeping my business here. Keep up the great work!
I placed a deposit for a pre-order of a vehicle mid August. A week after I placed the deposit for the pre-order I decided to cancel and obtain a full refund of my deposit.I contacted the sales manager John Phillips via email (September 7, 2021) and requested the deposit, that email was not acknowledged. A few days later (September 10, 2021) I sent a follow-up email which he replied and stated the refund was submitted. On September 16, 2021 I still have no signs of my deposit. At this point it was time to contact BMW HQ regarding the shameful level of customer service by Valley BMW.September 17, 2021 John Phillips replied stating that the check was being mailed to my home address. It is now September 30, 2021 and I still have not received my deposit. I again contacted BMW HQ, which they advised Valley BMW has been contacted regarding this issue again.I have purchased two 2021 BMWs (FRESNO BMW!!!) this year and have been acquainted to receiving top quality service. The service I have received for Valley BMW is shameful to the name BMW.They have lost a potential customer for life and I would never recommend them to anyone. Fresno BMW is a way to go. (Sidenote, when I ordered my BMW it automatically went to Valley BMW. Otherwise I would have gone to where I know, Fresno BMW which has exemplary service)
I would not trust the team here. One of the managers (John) and salesperson (Monique) proved to be untrustworthy throughout the sales process. Through several calls and text communication...we agreed on a new vehicle, the price, delivery time, etc and was told weve got a SOLD sign on it for YOU. I emailed over my drivers license, insurance information, etc as well per their request to get the process going. As I went to begin filling out the credit app and asked to schedule delivery time.....they said they actually decided to sell the car to someone else who was onsite that day. They never reached out, never called me....they just sold it because they had an eager buyer on site and (as evident) they really dont care about keeping their word to their customers (or potential customers).Because we had decided on this car, I had actually passed on 3 other similar vehicles over the past few days (at dealerships more close to home) that have now sold, because this was the one I wanted and they confirmed we had a deal and theyd marked it as Sold. Then when I called the manager (John) asking why they did not keep their word here, he became incredibly confrontational, rude and disrespectful to the point I would never imagine someone would treat a loyal BMW customer of 10 years. This is just 1 example here, but when choosing to work with a dealership...Id highly recommend working with one that values trust and keeping their word to their customers. If a manager is acting this way, you can ensure this is accepted behavior across the team there at Valley BMW. Stay away! Go work with a team you can trust!
Service was amazing except for one guy who was rude and not friendly at all but everyone else was super friendly. We took our car for oil change and they noticed a leak which they fixed and they loan us a car in the mean time, hassle free. They kept us updated with the work they were doing and we are happy with their service.
Came in on a Saturday because I was visiting a near by town(35 miles away) and noticed my 7 series was leaking coolant.... Although the staff was very friendly, they could not garantee they could even look at my car because I did not have an appointment. They also understaffed their Saturdays. The mechanic was nice enough to look at my radiator real quick to some what give me an idea of where the leak was coming from... But without him being able to diagnose the car properly he couldnt truly PIN point it. That why Im give this place a 4 start review.... Because unlike every other dealership Ive been to... They never understaff their operations. Thank you to the mechanic that at least have me s few minutes of his time to look at my car installed of just giving me an excuse.
I never want to own a BMW ever again after coming here. I needed a key replacement and it was the biggest headache I’ve ever endured. It was supposed to be covered under warranty but I got charged. They were so rude and unprofessional. Extremely unhelpful. They purposefully ordered the key at the end of the day so I had to come back an hour and a half to get it and made me wait hours for both times for just a simple key. They also went through my trunk for no reason and threw all of my items around in my trunk. It was so terrible I cried. I never felt so terrible after coming to an establishment in my entire life. I really mean it. I’ve never been treated so poorly and rude. It was the worst.
I made an appointment and took my sisters car in for a minor warranty repair. The warranty was purchased through BMW. However, they would not fix the car because my sister was not there. I told them the car is registered in her name and she couldnt make it because she as taking care of a newborn. Nope. I asked if they could start the repair and she can drop by to verify before we get the car back. Nope. I even offered to pay for the service and they could reimburse me once my sister verify that it is her car. Nope. I was told its the law. So basically a person can got bring in a family members car for service. It was a 45 min drive and a complete waste of time. Will never recommend this place. Just horrible service and a complete lack of common sense. At most it was 100 dollar repair.
I was Greeted by an advisor in service. He checked me in. I had a rental care scheduled but he said to just wait and would have you out in 2 hours. So i waited, and an hour and a half later I was done. This is a very clean location and treated me well. There are many places to take this car but this one was truly a pleasure to deal with.
Easy to schedule appointment on-line and confirm by phone with appointed service advisor. Able to drop off vehicle night before appointment. Pleasant interaction with Chris Sanchez, my advisor. He answered my questions and followed-up proactively during the inspection and repair process. Vehicle returned in good working condition and clean as a whistle! Loved the video provided elextronically of the vehicle inspection; not seen that before.
Dropped off my car for an air bag recall. Had an appointment but unfortunately the air bag was not available. 1 day wait and leaving the car isnt long but I would expect the airbag to be there if I make an appointment two weeks before the date. Great service besides that
Amazing! They are all friendly and straight forward. Went to get my recalled air bags fixed and they washed my car and even sent me a video of their inspection. It might be due coronavirus or what they are supposed to do, but I have never experienced service like this. Even when I ordered and picked up my floor mats and key, they were super friendly. Never experienced customer service like this.
This was one of the easiest and most comfortable buying experience I have had! Our sales rep Alex was awesome and kept in touch with me from the start of our conversation on the lot back in February 2020 to the purchase this month! He was concerned about our needs and wants along with the safety and stylish features we were looking from! He found the perfect vehicle for us and we love it! That’s to the awesome team at Valley BMW and Alex we are new owners of a BMW X3 and the BMW family!
What an AWESOME dealership for me to bring my recently purchased BMW to for service or any concerns I have . I bought a 2017 BMW less than a month ago from a dealership in Santa Clara & got an extended warranty to go along with the warranty that came with the purchase of the car. I was informed that I could take my car to any BMW in the USA & they will be happy to service it. We decided Valley BMW was the closest to us here in Stockton so when our fuel door wouldnt open we made an appointment online around midnight, Valley BMW took us in 2 days later & we dropped the car off & the curtious staff greeted us like family. When we went to pick up our car we were told it was being cleaned, the service writer came out & said the car was ready, fuel door is fixed & the car was cleaned extra sharp with plastic covering the seat & steering wheel. We are more than happy with the service we get from Valley BMW, the receptionist was great when we called then the service writer was professional & handled our issue like a seasoned veteran. Glad to have Valley BMW as our service dealership on our recently purchased BMW. Thanks to everyone there for making the first visit a gratifying one.👍
Came from Sacramento to buy a car. Read the reviews before coming in. One of the easiest quickest car buying experiences ever. We had a trade in and got a new 2021 M car. These guys really know what they are doing here. Anthony in sales was awesome! Oh and John just literally made me appreciate BMW customer service.
Brought my new BMW from here . Very good car buying experience. My CA Mike Makin is really an amazing person and I thank him for making the making the whole car buying process very smooth and being always helpful and co-operative and would recommend him to anyone looking to buy a BMW to get in touch with him . So far everything has been great and expecting to get this great customer service going forward too.
Amazing experience at Valley BMW with the help of Monique as my sales rep, and Mayra with financing. I was able to schedule a test drive for a pre owned 540d and drove in 6 hrs from San Diego. Monique was very knowledgeable on the features of my new car and very helpful with all of my (never ending) questions. She was very attentive to me beginning from my inquiry through carfax. I had personalized help from all departments including: Repairs/Service, Parts Sales, and management. Without previously knowing of my one-day visit to Modesto, Monique and team were able to give me a great deal on the car and financing through BWM - and I was back home that night. Amazing service, will return!
Super easy to make an appointment. Really fast diagnostic using the smart key. Offered shuttle and even washed my car. But above all that, they’re honest. Initial quote was expecting to change wheel rotor and turns out they call me to say it wasn’t needed, which saved me $500. Downside is the price, for sure.
Requested oil change, tire rotation and interior to be cleaned. Understand tire couldn’t be rotated because of a concern with a tire, but i believe e car could’ve been serviced in a more timely manner. . They did change the oil and was able to provide a courtesy wash, but failed to clean the interior. And when I was told it would’ve taken about an hr more, I arrived at the service dept, they then told me it would take more time.
Alex and the entire staff were fantastic! He was very professional and made me feel welcomed. We test drove two vehicles and he was very thorough in explaining the two helping me uncover what i was really looking for, which was comfort, speed and reliability.Alex is an asset to your company.Thank you
Ive been to many BMW dealerships, but none of them match the level of customer service Modesto Valley BMW teams provide, from Sales to Service dept! Way back during first visit in 2011 for maintenance (Thanks Steve, Roland, and team), then 2012 for my next purchase (Thanks Pete, Anthony, and team), and ever since— theyve always gone the extra mile to make my miles-trip worthwhile. All boxes checked, guys: Timeliness, Thoughtfulness, Honesty, and Quality... Thank you, my friends!
They were really friendly initially and quick to process the recalls I wanted fixed, which I greatly appreciated. However when I received my vehicle back, there was immediately an issue with it as it didnt run the same as before and was now dangerous to drive. When I brought this up to them, they asked me to pay nearly $200 to inspect it to see if they caused it and would reimburse the money if they did. I suspected this would be a waste of money as they had told me they didnt really drive it and that my car probably ran like that before. It had its issues, but it ran just fine. I can understand why they take this approach, but was disappointed at their lack of accountability.
The guys just DO NOT care about customers OR they simply have a habit of RIPPING CUSTOMERS OFF!I contacted Richard Powers, the head of Customer Relations and Service out in New Jersey, reguarding my first experience with this dealership.in December I hit some railroad tracks with my car and for some reason after I went over the tracks my car stopped moving driving in forward so I had my car towed into the dealership under this situation I talked to the service advisor no Roland nesper and he told me that they wanted to replace my starter and which was $700 and that I needed a positive terminal for my battery so my car is there for about 7 days and then the bill was $360 for the diagnosis and 2002 2,500 568 for the parts and the labor I go in there to pick up my car on the seventh day with cash I pay $2,558 and then I get it home I drive it for a day and that same night I go to go to the store and put my key in and go to start my car and all the power went out then the next day I had my car towed back to Valley BMW only for them to keep my car for two more days and all they did was charge my battery and then send it send it home to me I get it home and they I go to Im interested in selling my car now so the guys come out to look at my car and they hook it up to a scanner and they tell me that my catalytic sensors are bad how come when I have two strangers kids theyre like younger guys come over to my house plug in their little tiny handheld computer and found the situation at hand. whats wrong with my starter? I didnt have a problem with my starter!!!these guys totally had run tests supposedly at Valley BMW for TWO days TWO days they were telling me that they were running tests that they could not find the issue either their equipment there at the the dealership is faulty and theyre ripping people off or theyre ripping people off. Im out almost $3,000 and my car still not working properlyI do not recommend these guys at all. I talked to the manager Russ in service dept at valley BMW and he showed zero reguard for my situation.Matter of fact Russ seen me come in, he ran up to me and handed me paperwork and pushed me out the door to where my car sat , away from the buildingIm floored with how they handled my car. They shouldve found the O2 sensors faulty but failed to do so. But then again, this dealership in particular, nobody at this dealership even exudes the BMW characteristics. Its amazing these people are a part of BMW.
Thanks for Valley BMW for making my purchase painless! Dean Bumgarner and team stayed late and went above and beyond to get the deal done. All negotiations done beforehand by text/phone, super responsive and made additional concessions. All I had to do was show up and sign the paperwork. Highly recommended!
I must travel over 70 miles for a service appointment. The service rep, C.J., was so helpful and professional. He answered all my questions regarding a service recall and organized a free car rental for me. He promptly returned all my phone calls or text messages. He such a positive upbeat happy attitude that made my appointment such a pleasant experience.
The salesman Anthony was great and Im very happy with the vehicle and the purchase price. However, once the price was agreed upon, that is when they turned into a typical used car dealer. Once we agreed on the numbers, it took OVER 2 hours to sign the papers and get on my way. There were no other customers in the dealership while I was waiting. They wound up having to bring in a finance person from another dealership of theirs. Yes, the shiny stuff on the tires made the X5 look new, but maybe actually clean the vehicle/windows and the door jambs so it at least looks like you are getting into a newer vehicle. The purchase follow up email from Michelle went completely unanswered when I responded with a couple of questions that I had. DEFINITELY not a BMW experience on this one. I did talk to Ken at the dealership about the disappointing experience and he did have someone follow up with the questions I had. I will give them that.
I loved the way they took me in and made me feel comfortable. I really appreciated the video they made showing me what I need to get done on my car. One problem I do have is that my cup holder doesn’t want to come out now. It was working perfectly fine but now it gets stuck and is super hard to get out now
The service rep named Roland was not helpful at all. I dont feel like i got the service that i paid for. Service was done without a phone call to me asking. I also had to call to find oit about my car. I dropped my car off at 8am. I called around 3pm and roland seemed inconvenienced by my call. I would like a refund
My husband & I have been going to this dealership for years. They are always so attentive, friendly, and accommodating. Every experience has been beyond 5 stars no matter who you end up dealing with.Steve V. Is always friendly, helpful, and professional. We’ve never been disappointed in the level of service we get there. We Recommend them to anyone 😊
My daughter was looking at a certified used 430i and it had a cracked window, passenger side wheels had curb damage (not just scuffs, actual metal damage) the front facia was all tore up with damage (not something you can buff out) and a dent in the rear quarter panel. We questioned how this would be certified as certified is something that the dealer has gone through completely and its in like new condition. Very shocking that a dealer would try to pass something like this on to a consumer calling it certified just to charge more money. As a previous dealer, I would steer very clear from this dealership as they do not appear to be honest or trustworthy.
I had an awesome experience buying a used Hyundai from them. Nick was the one who sold me my car and he is super nice and super helpful. Out of all the places I’ve looked when I came here I felt comfortable and not forced or pushed into anything. They offered me a free car wash, tank fill up, and removal of a few little dents even though I didn’t buy a BMW. I highly recommend their services!
I drove from Los Angeles to Valley BMW in Modesto for the car I wanted. I was pretty much looking for a unicorn and I found it. Not only did I find my unicorn but it came with wings!! Alex Ramirez was professional from the get go. He was answering my questions days after the transaction. Eduardo picked me up from my hotel within minutes of my first call. Good job young man! They were courteous, considerate and sincere. All the people I came in contact with were great. Yes, I found a needle in a haystack but I will definitely consider them again even if I find a vehicle closer to me.
I experienced a flat tire on the town of Sonora, while on a weekend excursion.I called the service department at 8:00 am on Monday morning from Sonora . I explained that my tire had experienced side wall damagfe.A replacement tire was ordered. I was towed and taken to Valley BMW. Where I was greeted and taken very well care of! Excellent customer service!!Bravo to the service department!
Came in to do 3 recalls on my vehicle. Called the in advance to make an appointment and was told itd be around 4hrs to complete. Dropped my car off and received it 2 days later due to being backed up in their service department. The environment is super clean and although I wasnt greeted immediately, the BMW Service Advisor, Roland, was friendly, approachable, and knowledgable in regards to my vehicle and questions.I plan on returning to Valley BMW and hope to receive the same service.
Outstanding from the moment I walked into the Dealership. I had brought my 4 series in for aroutine service, then decided to get it appraised. I wasn’t completely happy with the 4 and wanted something bigger.I meet Kevin Newell on the sales floor and told him what I was looking for. Kevin then put the rains in my hand and let me go out onto the lot without him. He stated in 10 or 15 minutes he would come out and check on me to see if I had any questions or found a vehicle I was interested in. If I needed him before then just motion for him.I really liked that a lot! Reason why, for me I personally hate It when I’m shadowed by the salesman. Either by trying to push me towards a more expensive car or chiming in when I’m trying to think. When I have questions or interested in a vehicle I know where to find the salesperson.Kevin Newell gave me space and then came and answered all my questions. Then he let me take the vehicle I was interested in home for the weekend. After the weekend, we went over the trade-in and everything. I gave him my price range of what I expected and where I wanted to be.Now for the next best thing he did. There was no going back and forth to the sales manager. The sales manager Nick Pollock got straight to the point with the best offer. No running around or trying to nickel and dime me, just straight up best offer!Next I meet Teresa Garcia, in the finance office. She was outstanding also. Teresa made everything hassle free. Here is were she went above and beyond. The day after I signed the papers she called me back up and let me know that she was able to get the rate down lower than it was yesterday. She didn’t have to do that! I had already signed the paperwork. I honestly don’t know if many people would have done the same thing.I would like to thank Kevin Newell, Nick Pollock and Teresa Garcia for making my experience great! Valley BMW is lucky to have individuals like these!
New Location-niceSeem to be trying to improve service for clients check in.The day I arrived on time 8:30. For my appointment. It took 20 minutes to be called back to check in. Great coffee and big screen TV while I waited. At check in I was encouraged to pay for a $159 diagnostic test.... I insisted on just my service est $96.I asked to be called if something else was needed. My car was ready by 10am. First time ever...no drama on completing the service I requested,1.5 hours from my arrival time. 🎉. My car seems fine. I can only trust that it was done correctly. At check out I was again told that I should get the $ 159 diagnostic. I felt that the service representative had been instructed to have me or all clients to have that test. He said my service engine light was still on. I did not do the test.24 hours after the service .....the light is off.Does the service rep delay the record update so the light stays on??? Not sure how this works. Was pleased that my work was done on time. The reason for the 3 stars is because I dont trust the check in advise. For the last 8 years ...check in has always requested the expensive diagnostic test. Can someone explain why this is so expensive? Is it necessary? Is it worth doing? Why cant it be included with the service of the car?
Had to pick up the car after 2 weeks without it being completely fixed (no ETA as to when that would arrive). Although a bit inconvenient, the Service Dept. was however, very accommodating by issuing a rental car during this time. They kept us informed and were very courteous.
I feel that it is important to share my experience with Valley BMW and David. My wife and I bought her a CPO 2015 X5 back in Sept. 2018. The car has been fantastic and is in great shape. The price was much better than any of the other dealerships that we visited with a car that is comparable. Keep in mind that we are driving from the Tri-Valley. In January of 2019 my wife got a nail in the front right tire so we took it to our local shop to get it patched. Upon attempting to remove the wheel they discovered that one of the lugs were cross threaded and stripped. My mechanic recommended that I call the dealership and bring it to their attention. When I spoke to David about this situation he said that he would talk to the service manager and give me a call back. 30 mins later David called me back and said that they would take care of it because the vehicle was always serviced at their dealership and they had the records. I was very impressed with the ease and the way that they handled this situation. Most car dealerships dont care once you drive off of the lot. This showed me that this a dealership with the highest integrity! I will be back to buy another car from them.
50,000 mile service on 2016 X6. Everything performed to expectation and even the car wash afterward was pretty thorough. Even the wheels were clean...you can’t even get that at the $28 full service car wash!My service advisor Steve has been the same consistent guy for the several years I have been going to Valley BMW for service. He is upfront, quick, and thorough while handling the intake of your vehicle.I’ve been coming to Valley BMW for service since 2005 and they have always been top notch. The new dealership facility is a huge improvement!
They made the buying process as painless as possible they did all the heavy lifting and I even got free gifts! I would definitely Recommend Valley BMW for your next vehicle purchase. *In regards to the Covid-19 while I was there it was so clean! and even before I test drove the car they wiped the whole car down before I touched anything. They wiped all the door knobs down as we were going in-and-out of doors they went above and beyond my expectations!
Service was done as scheduled and completed in a timely fashion. We had chosen the warranty on our X1 so there was no charge for services. My car was washed and vacuumed and I was on my way! Steve was gracious, helpful and efficient... What else could I ask for? Coffee? Yep, they had that covered, too! Starbucks, hot and waiting for me to pour. Really, they DO aim to please...
Wow! I could not believe the service I received from Steve Varni at Valley BMW. In the past, I always felt very leery about receiving car service and repairs. You always hear about the stories how people are getting over charged and receiving addition service for parts not necessary, but Steve changed my perspective on that. Steve made me feel really confident that he would take care of me and provide great and timely service, and that is exactly what he did. Even when I went to pick up the rental they were already waiting for me to serve me and knew I had to be at work so they provide quick service due to Steve informing them of my situation. I would recommend anyone with a BMW to see Steve at Valley BMW for any service needs!
My 530i went for an airbag recall. It was easy to schedule the appt on a Saturday morning and the work was performed quickly. Staff was great. I also bought a part there for another BMW and the young woman who helped me was pleasant and helpful too. I normally go to an independent BMW shop, but will definitely keep Valley BMW in mind in the future.
I was running late and needed to make an appointment to get an oil change and it was past the time window to make appointments. However one of your employees was gracious enough to assist me by booking me the very next day! This was a great experience and I really appreciated the service I was provided.
I dropped in without an appointment and the service center was able to quickly help and resolve my issue. I drive further to this bmw service center than I could to others because Ive consistently had helpful, competent, honest service each time Ive been there. I simply trust them more. than you.
Great dealership with no pressure through the whole process. Im a pain and a haggler and they oblidged the whole way through. Best deal in all of California. Ask for Uncle or Anthony. .First service was a nightmare since they didn’t realize my magnesium oil pan held an extra half a liter. So I had to have my car towed in for low oil and the tow truck driver not the dealership, rashed my carbon splitter. Kinks are worked out and my one year service went beautifully. As always friendly staff pretty quick as I waited. No complaints. It’s been two years and every experience has been great since. I still highly recommended Valley BMW for purchases and service.
I appreciated the assistance I received from Johnny in the purchase of our new (to us) BMW. His helpful yet no pressure approach made my wife feel at ease.Even though we had left the lot to look at other cars elsewhere, he and his manager stayed for us when we returned at closing time. We even test drove multiple other cars after closing and eventually purchased a completely different car. Johnny even bought us a bag of chips and offered to run down the street to grab us some food since we hadnt eaten all day.The financing rate was very reasonable and the assistance I have received from Valley BMW so far has left me with a positive impression of the type of dealership they are. I will definitely consider them in my future vehicle purchases and would recommend them to anyone looking for a quality used car.
I was really appreciative of Roland that he took care of me when I called him that I need a change oil on my 7 series. Although that was late in the afternoon when I made a call. I was fully also impressed that when I picked up my car, it was washed. Thank you so much Roland and your staff, you guys are amazing!
They were very pleasant and to the point, they didnt try and sell me something I didnt need. I did purchase a 2017 Toyota Corolla at a very reasonable price and there was no pressure. I totally love the car and was told by a competitor that I got a very good deal. I could not be more pleased with the service
If you want to deal with someone with Integrity this is not the place. Totally ran by a person that does not care about his customers (KEN). Sold us bumper to bumper warranty and when we needed it, we were told sorry you have to pay $3600. Total scam! Do not shop at Valley BMW.
The staff was friendly and helpful. My problem with my car was found and quickly fixed. The older gentleman who sold me my car a few years ago, talked with me and showed me a few cars. The new building is really nice. My only suggestion is to change the address on the recording. I showed up at the old building, because of it. I always enjoy my visits!
I came here two weeks ago for the service maintenance of my car. Although I came here earlier than my scheduled maintenance by mistake, my service advisor Roland made sure that my vehicle will be serviced on that day. In my 5 years of coming here, I don’t have any complaints of the customer service. Always five stars for the excellent customer service of BMW Modesto most especially Roland.
Brought in my beamer due to couple of recall issues and it was fixed with no issues at all. Everything was excellent except they took a one day longer than it should have been ( loaner car would’ve been nice) but I can’t really complain every thing was free I just had to pay Uber for a couple of trips costing me around 100.
When I originally leased my car it was an ok experience. I decided to purchase my car and Anthony was fantastic. I talked to him and asked lots of questions and did get my own financing. I came in with my credit union and he took it from there and got me financed and out the door in an hour. He was very kind had my car washed inside and out and topped off my tank. Great service thank you Anthony.
Excellent service. Was over my scheduled maintenance interval, and I was planning on going out of town and wanted to get the vehicles service done before I left. Without an appointment, I walked in and Steve told me that hed do his best to get the car serviced on a very busy Friday afternoon. I bought this vehicle from another BMW dealership down south before moving to the Modesto area...so this was the first time they were seeing me as a customer. Suffice to Steve underpromised and overdelivered....I walked out about 45 minutes later and the service was done! Not only will I bring the vehicle back to them for service now that they are my local dealer, Ill most likely lease my next BMW from them as well....
Great car buying experience. Mark was amazing to work with, very accommodating and made the process very smooth. Mark in finance took care of us quickly and with no nonsense. Beautiful dealership. Friendly, professional, and helpful all around. Would absolutely recommend.
Id like very much to give you a good review however since I had my front & rear brakes done the car is riding terrible. There is vibration in the wheel. Also there is some type of box or connecting device hanging from the compartment below my steering column. Please advise.
Requested Steve Varni as our Service Writer for our appointment and was not disappointed with his service. Steve was patient with our issues and took ownership of them. When he couldn’t answer a question, he found someone who could help us rather than putting our questions to bed. Repairs were completed and prices were fair considering it included their dealership labor $$$.
If I could give this place a 0 Star rating, that’s exactly what I’d give it.. Horrible service drive! Was promised verbally and on paper that my car would be done the next day at approximately 9am. Waited patiently to find out that the service advisor AND technician was “off” and couldn’t take care of my car. 5 days later, I get my car back with an empty tank (was at half tank upon drop off). I dropped off my car for a full diagnostics and I didn’t even get that. These “professionals” still don’t know what’s going on with my car and the advisor says in order for them to move forward, I’d need to pay an additional $4000 to move forward. The whole entire time when my car was in their possession, I was kept in the complete dark. No heads up, update, etc. I even called and left messages but nothing. Chris Sanchez, I’m calling him out. Horrible customer service, horrible advisor. The best part was I still had to pay almost $200 for NOTHING. No explanation at all. I paid $200 for them to basically keep my car for 5 days and leave me in the dark with no rental or anything. PLEASE STAY AWAY! If you guys need work on your BMWs, go to Central Valley AutoHaus! Doug will take care of you in the most honest way
I can’t express how much I appreciated the service provided by Valley BMW. I live between Valley and another dealership and have predominantly used the other for service over the last 12 years. After this experience, I will make Valley the first priority.Their expanded hours and service days coupled with the most customer focused and professional approach made this an easy decision.
Alexander was a good salesman. He was professional and arranged for a Lyft driver to pick me up and drive me from Merced to Modesto to purchase my vehicle since I wasn’t doing a trade in. The transaction didn’t take that long to process and the finance team had me in and out in a matter of minutes. I’m very pleased with my purchase and the overall experience with Valley BMW. I’m also enjoying my new BMW!
Poor communication. Zach the sales person I worked with was very nice and personable but is a very poor communicator. I dont feel he had ill intent but his lack of care caused an annoyance for me. I ran my credit on a car that had already been sold. He gave me a story about how it had been rolled back. I went back to work hoping to hear an update as he had promised that did not come. I reached out to him the following day and he promised another update in a few hours. That update didnt come. I showed up to get an update, and he informed me that the car was sold after I left yesterday. Then tried to sell me a different car that was going through a saftey check. His excuse for the car being gone and him not giving me an answer was the his higher ups were there and he hadnt had a chance to talk to his manager. I will buy my car in Pleasanton.
DAY AND NIGHTCannot iterate enough what a miserable experience this place is both for leasing and service. This last lease was my fourth BMW, (previously leased in Southern Ca.)Service is was worst, unfriendly staff, no loaners, no rides locally. dirty car returns, and poorly prepared for delivery, seriously spotted windshield upon delivery yada, yada, yada. (Except for the service manager who showed on the scene our third time in and was a prince.)Leasing was rocky in 2016, due to the fact the rep was new. Took forever. He was nice though. The Finance guy was not friendly, had no personality, flat. Bordered on grump. This attempt in 18, several days ago was even worse. Walked in, spent about an hour with the rep who ran a few numbers, offered only stock, refused to order what we wanted, stated it could take six months to get it and our lease would be up we would have to return the car??? Claimed there were no cars in the western US that matched our desires, and said even if there were, the dealer would probably not want to trade. Did however offer to get a Red metallic car that was somewhat near what we wanted.?? He consulted with the manager several times throughout this exchange. So, went home, got online, found the car we wanted in short order, called Sacramento BMW, spoke to the General Manager. He did everything over the phone, took 20 minutes. We. got in our car drove up there in 1 ½ hours, completed the paperwork in less than an hour. The General manager was the nicest person I have dealt with in ages. very professional. Everyone thereafter, the finance manger, tech, administrative people, everyone across the board were OUTSTANDING. efficient, couldnt do enough to make sure we were happy. Since it was so late, the tech, who was giving us a tour of the newly designed facility (gorgeous), offered to go and get us a meal! The general manager gave us a lovely gift of two stunning key chains, very classy! Looked up a first class local restaurant and the tech put the address in for us! Also put in the way home and stored it along with pairing our cell phones.First class experience. And, yes they have loaners when service is being done! The tech will come to us to give us some training on the electronics. Worth the drive in every respect.
I just purchased a used X5 35d from another place and brought it in here to get a recall taken care of that the other place should have done.. We decided to also get the oil changed at the same time. Steven was our SA and keeped us informed of the progress. It turned out they were missing a part for the recall. Steven said they were trying to find the part and it might be longer and they got us Lyft ride to a restaurant across town while we were waiting. We finished our meal and they provided another Lyft ride back. They said the part wouldnt be there until the following morning (Saturday). They provided us a brand new X1 loaner to take home about 60 miles away. The car was finished and ready to pickup on Saturday. I felt for someone like me who wasnt a customer before and didnt purchase the car from them in the first place they really took care of us. They us as a customer for now on. Thanks Steven.
My sales person was amazing. Zack G he took care of me all the way. He also came in after he was off from work. To work with me and my husband since were both coming after work. The finance manager was also great Mark Foreman I will come back again for another car in the future. Thank you for everything!!
Really happy with the service at Valley BMWRoland helped me this time for my car service and made everything so convenient for meAmazing detailing service that I had added onIf anyone needs a real detailing on their BMW then these are the guys to talk to !!!!Always recommend them. Trusted and tried over time They will not let you down!!!
Brought car in for service check. After car serviced Fred noticed an unusual sound and insisted that they check into that before returning my car. They made all the necessary accommodations for me to have a loaner. They thoroughly evaluated and repaired the problem. Nothing but good things to say about their concern, service and communication
I regrettably am compelled to leave a single star. The dealership, lounge and staff are great, the situation was the problem. The Manager over the service staff, also great. In retrospect, when I had paid $5k in the past two years here on my other vehicle there was no issue. However, there was a recall on my other vehicle where no $ were spent. Therein lies the situation. My appt was at 09:30, I rolled in at 09:15 after an hour drive. I was told that it would take about 3 hours over the phone and in person. I even figured 4 hours would be sufficient which should include my wheel alignment so I hung around. 7.5 hours later at 16:45 is when I was handed my keys! At around this time I found out that the dealership would have offered a complimentary rental. Hunger and irritated yet civil, I left. I noticed oil smudges on my hood, my door handles, on the roof and various parts of the exterior which includes one on the interior. My vehicle was professionally detailed prior to my 09:30 appt, but I requested the front window to be cleaned, but alas not done! I finally got home after an hour and went to open my left rear door, nothing! So, now I spent the next day washing my vehicle, puzzled why I have this problem that I didnt have when I came in. Would the situation be different if I was a female hottie or maybe an elderly gentleman? Almost a week later, I receive a text thanking me and asking if there is anything else that can be done. If they read this or not the answer is yes! Now please fix my door!
I tried to book a service appointment but I cant get anyone to call me back. I left 2 messages yesterday; no one called me back. Again I tried to set up appointment today, but the coordinator was busy. I dont think Im a demanding person, but this is kind of silly. Id prefer to go to Modesto because its closer, but Ill just to back to Elk Grove BMW. Its farther, but at least I can make an appointment in less than 2 mins and they ALWAYS answer their phones.
Thank you so much for helping me on the recall. You took my car in right away and fixed it in a quick time . I did order me a service manuel, cause it throws a code, but i just can not afford the 159.00 dollars for you to tell me whats wrong , but if i have any questions on it while i correct the problem, can i call you? Thanks again for taking my car in and correcting the recall
Terrible service. Actually no serviceI own a bmw m4I went to show room to check out the new 2021 m3I parked walked outside the showroom for 3-5 minutes then walked in side and looked around and came out sideNo one even came to say hiI waited for someone to approachI was really disappointedNo courtesy of any service at allI bought my last m4 from. Niello bmw Elk GroveExcellent service
I took my vehicle to have a computer module replaced and upon receiving it back I had driven less than one block when several warnings started going off. I turned around and went back immediately and was told it would be taken care of, to bring it back in. I was unable to do so for several weeks due to my schedule. When I finally did make it back I waited approximately 30 minutes only to have one of the service employees tell me that it was unrelated and I would have to pay to have it fixed. I then spoke to the main Manager Russ McNoland and he spent no less than 20 minutes explaining to me why and how it was unrelated, and that it was purely coincidental that several features no longer worked (cruise control and signal lights) after receiving my vehicle back, even going so far as to bring in the service manager to help convince me. They both told me that my cruise control and signal lights no longer worked due to an issue in the steering column and that it was unrelated to what they had done. I asked if the steering angle sensor had been recalibrated after the work was done and I believe the the service manager realized that it probably had not been and offered to do it again. After this was done everything worked properly. I do not fault the service manager for backing up his boss, he was put in a tight spot and I appreciate that after realizing their mistake he offered to fix it (in a way that he could save face for his boss of course). I do however believe that it was very poorly handled by the main manager. If he had spent the time investigating the issue that he did trying to convince me that it was a coincidence, the problem could have been solved and I wouldnt have had to waste over an hour of my time.As a side note: The cruise control no longer worked because the SAS (steering angle sensor) could not determine the position of the steering wheel and for that reason would not allow the traction control to be enabled. This in turn disabled the cruise control. The signal lights would not cancel for the same reason, if the vehicle could not determine the location of the steering wheel it was unsure whether the turn had been completed.
Did fix the problem that I came in for. Disc changer always cycling draining battery, which it is still doing. But found 4000$ worth of stuff that wasnt as improntant. And now sensor and brake still sweaking. Bad customer service did want to help fix what they messed up. Now I dont trust u o take my car anywhere because of this terrible experiance. So thank you for making me loose trust in all auto repair places. They say they stand by their work and the dont
I asked my wife to bring the vehicle for maintenance. I noticed that it was cleaned and looked very nice. I am not was done to my car. However, the MPG seems to be on the high range between 40 to over 50 MPG, which seems to be higher than published. Also, navigation seems to flip flop sometimes indicating different distances back and forth. Is it supposed to be like that?
I purchased a 328I November of 2016 from this Dealershitp. The lady who helped me is no longer there and it was an amazing experience. The only issue at that time was, they only had one key to the car. This car was a gift to my wife and I did not have time to negotiate an additional key. I came back today hoping to have a great experience. My wife went to get her car service and I told her to look for another 320I or 328I because I wanted one for myself. She spent the early morning negotiation with the dealership. All I needed to do was to go in and drive the car and see if I agreed to the terms. We got to the dealership after I got off work. My wife test drove the car and liked the 328i better. We sat down and talked about the price and it was not completely what I wanted, but I was okay with it. I told the sales person I would sign on the doted line if they gave me a complimentary oil change and provide an extra key to the first car I purchased from them. The sales person went to talk to his manager and he said he could not do it. The key he could not do it because how do they know we did not lose the other. I said, if you check your records and maybe had done your research on a previous customer, they would of seen it was just one when I purchased it. The oil change, yeah, that was a no. I felt that the way they handled a simple request was an insult, when I am purchasing a car, not an apple. I feel they should of done better than this. I felt insulted and got up and just left.
I always prefer bringing my car to Valley BMW for service issues for the last 16 years. I’ve lived all over California- Sacramento, San Francisco, Los Angeles- and the attention and quality repair/service work Valley BMW provides is unparalleled to various dealerships in and around the other cities.Fred, Russ and Steve are always super responsive, accommodating and provide excellent service/repair/maintenance.This service department and its staff should be used as the standard for other BMW locations.
The staff was very professional when I left my vehicle overnight the day before my appointment. My vehicle received the required maintenance and the team ensured to clean my vehicle before delivery. I am beyond pleased with the service and the courtesy inspection. When purchasing another vehicle, Valley BMW is the go to location. My Beamer is almost at 150,000 and can easily hit speeds over 90 mph without me noticing until everyone is suddenly behind me, and I’m only driving a 2010 E92 with Xdive!
Dont live in town so I had to rush over after work to purchase something from the parts department only to not make it in time by 5 minutes, tried the bell anyway and Alyssa came out told me they were closed but still helped me out. There was not even a hint of frustration while helping me out , everyone else I encountered was very friendly .
Very poor service department. Took my car there lasr month. Car was misdiagnosed 3 times now. Staff tried to charge me twice. Staff also refused to do any services. I asked for a 50 k service but said there is nothing they can do. Bascially instead of preventing the car from breaking down they want the car to fail and then brought in. I asked for car to be checked in deeper but they refused because they had to replace a part first that didnt need to be. I took the car to a different mechanic before taking it to valley BMW. Also whil being helped in the service department I over heard the customer and staff memeber next to me and they were charging her an arm and a leg for services not needed. I expected alot more from a BMW dealership. Be aware they dont treat you like customers but as value signs.
Just purchased a vehicle from Mark. I didnt realize I could love purchasing a vehicle this enjoyable! Not your typical car salesman, but a man of integrity and honesty. I am very fortunate to have a BMW dealership of this magnitude in the town I live in. I wish I could say the same for the other BMW dealerships in Northern California. I highly recommend Mark.
Very unprofessional people work there, they were laying to me about car availability and after I committed to buy it and gave them all my info and my wife, they run my credit and get all financing done. I have ordered a car hauler to pick up my car and after 3 days going back and forth Alex sales person gave me a call saying that car has been sold last weekend.HOW COME YOU GUYS KEEP SELLING SOLD CARD AND GET PERSONAL INFO FROM OTHER PEOPLE. THEY JUST LAIRS.David the manager been lying as well, he said that car was at backyard and they forgot about it but it isnt true because they were doing touch up on it, Alex send me photo of that car from the shop.So I had really bad experience with them, my credit score went down I have prepaid car hauler $400 and can not get my money back.Stay away from this scam place
Customer service is lacking at this dealership. Once, I had dropped off my car for factory service and had the dealership give me a ride to work. When the car was done, they were supposed to pick me up, take me back to the dealership, and send me home in my car. When it was time to come and pick me up, they didnt have a driver available for their courtesy shuttle so they tole me that they were going to have an Uber pick me up. After waiting close to 45 minutes with no Uber, I called the dealership. They said dont worry, the Uber will be there shortly. When the Uber driver finally arrived, I asked him if they were really busy that afternoon. He said no, I just got the assignment and got here in less that 5 minutes. Obviously, the dealership forgot to call an Uber and would have left me hanging if I hadnt called to inquire about the delay.I also went back to have the dealer check on a warning light I had on the dash. It said marker light failure. The dealer looked at the car and saw that every bulb seemed to be functioning. The dealer stated that it would need to be diagnosed for $180 and I would have to pay that first and then see if it was covered under warranty. I asked them to show me which bulb had failed. They stated that they thought it might be a fuse that was going bad. Fuses dont go bad! Either they conduct current, or they dont! Or, they said that a bulb may have a weak filiment. Seriously??I guess that they assume that their loyal customers are idiots and would accept whatever line of bull they were dishing out.I am not impressed with their customer service and will not have anything done at their dealership unless it is known warranty work.I took the car to another dealer and the other dealer turned on the lights and found a bulb that was burned out. $15 later, new bulb!
It’s pretty annoying when you have to Bring the car for service because your check engine light comes on for a fairly new car. You literally have to reschedule your day to take care of an annoyance. Each time you go to the dealer the answer is the same. The sensor states there is a problem and we reset the car and put it to sleep and magic there is no sensor fault. If I could learn how to control alt delete my car I’d avoid the dealer all together
I took my car here for repair, actually it was towed there. I normally take it Bmw of murrieta. CJ helped me take care of my car, he was extremely professional and kind and understanding of the situation. Russ the manager was great too, he helped me with the rental car, and always returned my calls and CJ updated me every day via text, email and calls. This is a great place , I highly recommend them for everything. I will be taking my car here for sure now on. Thank you CJ and Russ and the entire team :)
Valley BMW just completed a driver side airbag replacement on my 335i that was needed due to a recall. While I was waiting for the work to be completed one of the service advisors went over the 2 page invoice and Vehicle Inspection Report with me. It is Valley BMWs policy to inspect automobiles that come through their shop. Those items totaled over $4,300 in repairs. Attached to the invoice was also a yellow post it note saying “engine oil due”. I felt grateful that someone had brought things to my attention that were needed but that feeling did not last long. After getting in the car to drive away two warning indicators on the inside were showing “malfunction in the passenger airbag”. This warning was absolutely not there when the car was shut off and left at Valley BMW for the Driver Airbag recall. No one brought the warning message to my attention verbally or on the paperwork I was given by the service advisor. In fact, the Vehicle Inspection Report had a green check in the Gauges, Warning light and Horn column. Green indicating an OK result. When I brought the warning message to the attention of the other service advisor he informed me that the mechanic said the warning message was there when he turned the car on. He did not mention it because he thought I was already aware of it. The service advisor told me I could bring the car back in and for $169 they could inspect it and tell me what was wrong but nothing that they had done that day would of caused a malfunction of the passenger airbag. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. That I would be expected to pay for an inspection and repair of something that was fully functional when I left it with the dealership. I also had to believe that a huge coincidence had occurred with the passenger airbag malfunctioning immediately after the driver airbag was repaired and that there was not one word mentioned in the mechanics lengthy report on the condition of this airbag. The service advisor mentioned the mechanic should of put it in his report.I don’t know if the mechanic was just trying to cover his own behind by not putting it in the report but the more disappointing part is the reaction I got from the service advisor. It was now my financial obligation for any inspection and repair if it is determined not to be related to their earlier work. Since the mechanic failed to put this in his report I think Valley BMW should show good customer service and give me the benefit of a doubt. Do they really believe I would bring my car back to them for any of the $4300 in repairs they noted on my invoice.Update: Valley BMW service department contacted me and scheduled an appointment to check out the warning message for passenger airbag at their expense. They were able to fix the problem and clear the warning message. I truly appreciate that Valley BMW stepped up to resolve the issue.
I found the sales experience pleasant and honest. I found a car online, and we agreed on a price over the phone. I was warned by people that car dealerships sometimes will renege on prices when you actually get there. However-- that didnt happen. We showed up, they stood by the price we agreed on in advance, and we left with the car. Pretty happy about it! Worth the 2hr drive out from the peninsula.
Service consultants are ok, just ok no more than that, service center doesnt do complimentary 21 point inspection, they charge customers for the inspection alone, i am not sure if that’s how the system works but unlike on my experince with nielo bmw dealership in elk grove they are the best they treat you like really a valued client. They give explanation on everything you need to know, etc, well they are different dealership though. I would say modesto dealershipnis just ok, dont expect so much from them.
Huge rip off on labor costs. Last time I had my oil changed they offered to put in a new air filter for me. They told me it would be 89$, I asked the price of the filter and they said 40$. I found this to be odd, 49$ worth the labor to install an air filter, it requires no tools and takes less than 5 minutes. When I questioned the labor rates and how they came to the conclusion that it was a fair price for 5 minutes labor the service manager got quite loud and irrate with me.Long story short I purchased a filter on RockAuto for 20$ and installed in myself in a few minutes saving myself 69$.Double check your bill folks, they over charge for labor for the simplest of jobs. Never use their service department again.
The service dept made a few oversites on my vehicle. Invoice says I need new rear tires, this was an issue during my last oil change but they have since been changed and all 4 tires had less than 1000 miles on them. Im guessing nobody bothered to check. They charged me $159 for a “vehicle check”. 2 days later my service light comes on and says vehicle check due in 480 miles. Doubting this was done either.
Anthony is extremely rude. I called him to see if I could have to car delivered to me (less than 90mi away), and Anthony starts talking about how many rich and famous people come from SF to buy cars from there so its ridiculous that I would need it delivered. Then when I asked if he could transfer the car to a closer dealership (which was happy to go and pick the car up from Modesto), he started talking about how much he wanted my money, and asking why he would allow anyone else to make money, and how he is only in business to make money.I would never buy a car from here. I took my business to Stevens Creek, where the salesman Ricky was polite, knowledgeable, and even had my friends car cleaned and vacuumed while we were working at the dealership.
Service personnel were professional. There was lack of depth in the product level of service advisor . May be because of e class product .Service manager had to braught in to resolve the questions.Servicing the vehicle was prompt .The post service courtesy car wash left vehicle more Dirty .The customer intake process is cumbersome .Need to streamline it .May be the receptionist was multitasking and she just got overwhelmed by the customers .There were only three.
I bought a bmw X7 on January 2020 from valley bmw. It was the best car buying experience I’ve ever had in my life. I’ve bought 4 bmws over the past 10 years. I custom ordered the x7, made a mistake, and they let me reorder exactly the way I wanted! They worked hard to get me the best deal possible and were very transparent the entire time. This will be the first dealership I will consider for my next car!
Johnny who sold me the new BMW X3 at Valley BMW was outstanding. He was patient and thorough during the loan application and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable in buying our new ride which WE LOVE!! She’s a beauty and we’ll be back to do business again with you Zoom-Zoom!
I am very disappointed with my most recent experience. I took my BMW to have 2 recalls fixed and to have the oil changed and the door locks looked at as the locks were not working properly and I would get locked in my car, this was a huge concern for me due to if I was ever in a accident I would not be able to get out of my car. I dropped my car off for the repairs with all my windows up and when I picked up my car the back drivers side window was 2 inches down, I tried to roll it up and it would not go up I pushed the button again and the window rolled all the was down and now is stuck down and will not roll up. I called and left a voicemail immediately when I got home. I received a call back today and pretty much was told to bring it back in sounds like the window regulator broke... So now I will have another expense after just paying over $1,000 and when I took the car in the window worked fine and was rolled up but received my car back with the window cracked 2 inches and the other 3 windows were rolled up. So now I have my door locks working but a window all the way down, what a waste of money. Please beware when picking up your car from the service department. I have more issues then I did when I brought it in.
I had called the dealership in regards to a $30.000 suv and ask the sales person if the vehicle is equipped with sunroof or moon roof. The salesman us me let me check and then he told us yes. Me & my brother get off from work early and traveled all the way from Fresno,ca to buy this vehicle. When I arrive at the dealership I was very disappointed to know that vehicle has no sunroof or moon roof.We traveled 200 plus miles back n forth. For them its not big deal. Cannot accept this from a reputable dealership.
My car is a 2014 328i and has less than 20,000 miles. My screen started having issues (blue lines through it) when I first scheduled an appointment to take it in while it was still under warranty. Before taking it to the dealership, I had two appointments prior to finally getting it in. They said my car needed an update which they weren’t sure if it’d take and the control unit needed to be replaced and they weren’t even sure if that would fix any of my issues with the screen and quoted me around $4,000. Luckily they did work with me and updated my car at no charge but that still didn’t fix the issue. When I asked about my warranty, they said that it expired a week prior to my appointment. I proceeded to ask if there was anything that they could do for me since I had an appointment for this same issue a month prior to my warranty expiring and all they said was “no, that’s why warranties have expiration dates”. They didn’t even try to work with me or offer any alternatives. I could understand if the car had a lot of miles or was extremely old but neither of those are the issue. I just wish I would’ve received better service and if someone would’ve put themselves in my shoes and saw it from my point of view. I will never go to that dealership again.
I didnt want to give a review. Since I kept on getting txt on telling me to give you guys a review, Ill do so as you guys wish. I dropped off my car on monday morning on March 19, 2018 morning. I had many symptoms on my car with a check engine light, multiple misfiring, car stalling and dying out. Informed by service advisor that they had a lot of cars might not be seen for a few days. Called from Wednesday to Friday never been looked. Unbelievable. By Friday afternoon I was so fed up I called and asked again and said might still not be able to look at my car still. I got frustrated and asked even if I set up an appointment probably is even faster. Then they looked at my car otherwise probably still wouldnt have gotten my car checked. Well got slapped with a bill of 1416. Thought they completely fixed the problem. Drove it out of BMW all happy, just 5 miles down the road check engine light came back on. So drove it back to BMW hoping they could tell me whats up. Now they came up with excuses like I put in after market parts like spark plugs and ignition coils. Well, if they werent compatible I dont think kragen or autozone would actually sell them or they get sued for that. So I agreed with them at first, want to see what else they can blame it on. Then I asked if its possible to plug my car into their computer to see what else is wrong since I put it there to fix for a whole week and more. The service advisor said sorry we are fully booked until april 9th and I will get charged another 159 to get it checked. How pathetic is that? So I got so mad I went to autozone to get a free diagnostic on the car and it turned out that the idle controller is messed up now. What does that have to do with my spark plugs and ignition coils being after market? So yes, I think 1 star is correctly given.
Could not have asked for a better group of people to work with than the sales staff at Valley BMW. David Lampkins is an absolute sales professional and it was a pleasure doing business with him. Mark Chripczuk was also amazing and took every opportunity to be helpful.Because of these two gentlemen and the way they handled the sales process while buying my new BMW......I drove from Orange County to Modesto despite having at least ten other dealers in the surrounding area to pick from. Very impressed.Ed R
The car buying process wasnt any different than buying at any other dealership. However, I had my wife and 4-year old daughter with me which left a lot of room for improvement. The waiting area did have coffee available, but that was it. Water or snacks of any kind were not to be found. We were directed through an unmarked door (to what I assume was the staff breakroom) to find an a broken water dispenser and 2 poorly stocked vending machines. While one cannot expect the dealership to provide a full lunch, the waiting area was pitifully inadequate. We expected a much better experience from a BMW dealership. Given that the overall process took 4 hours (we were the first customers on a Sunday and brought our own financing) and the waiting experience was so bad, we will be VERY reluctant to visit Valley BMW again, nor would we recommend Valley BMW to friends or family.
Having a great partner like Valley BMW makes owning a BMW a beautiful experience, having a service department with people like Steve makes it impossible to buy a car any where else, the friendly atmosphere and the extreme detail to attention makes the experience seem less. Thank you Steve for the years of service you have given, you truely make driving a BMW a pleasure
Service manager is rude and not knowledgeable on the situation of customers needs. I strongly suggest that he needs to be retrained on customer service and his service department. Parts department clarifiedMy situation and helped me what was going on. This man up front trying to extra charge me without having any knowledge what was going on. My car key was broken(gave up working after 2 years) and we paid $325.00for the replacement. My car has no comfort access but he think he have and trying to charge me extra $150.00for programming. The parts department lady said he was misunderstood. This man owe me an apology
Leased a vehicle 3 yrs ago. Turned in car a few days ago and the process went better than expected. It was quick and painless. I did not re-lease however if i was, I would definitely lease/buy from Valley BMW. The initial lease process was the least stressful car buying/leasing process Ive experienced.
Chris was friendly, yet professional. He checked what I needed and my concerns about my vehicle.Bmw is quite high on their tires. I chose to keep my vehicle after my lease. Bmw finance told me to call my sales person. I called many times a week for 6 weeks and got no help at the dealership about buying my vehicle after the lease. I called back to Bmw financial who set up financing my vehicle. I waited til one week before my lease expired to send in my loan docs. Then I was told when I got my service on my vehicle that my salesperson was out on leave because of a concussion. Why didn’t anyone else call me? They didnt.
I love Valley BMW! Such nice people working there! They definitely go above and beyond for people visiting their service center! Also I’d like to say that their partnering with enterprise rental is also great, they too made my experience a beeeze. Thanks Steve !!BMW 750li owner 😎
I dropped off my vehicle to be serviced on a pre-existing issue. When I went back to pick it up the next day, I discovered that my driver side door had been dinged by someone in the service department, and the was a significant scrap on the edge of the door near the handle. I then return to the service department to have the damage buffed out and painted, only to find the inside driver side littered with grease stains. Finally to add insult to injury, the passenger side front door was stained by either a service man spilling his drink or a careless worker inadvertently spraying my vehicle with a sticky substance and not wiping it. At this point Valley BMW has sullied the BMW brand in my eyes, and I will share my experiences exponential.
Yeah I called ahead of time spoke to Chris he said I would get a rental so I drove by myself over to valley bmw not expecting I would need a ride. As I arrived I meet with Chris and he then informed that my car was to old to get a rental and laughed like I was dumb? but he had never asked or said anything on the phone. He then perceeded to try and sell me a rental when I was there for a recal.... so not only did he give the wrong information but tried using my disadvantage of not having a immediate ride to try and sell me a rental. I told him no and waited in the lobby for about a hour for my ride while he sat on his phone at his desk. I have another bmw that is under recall and if this happens again I will need to speak to a manager I shouldnt be pressured to buy anything while Im their because of a recal that is bmws fault.
Valley BMW couldnt beat the price of a bay area dealership who we ended up buying from. Upon first free warranty service, we took it to Valley. Late in the afternoon they called to say that the car wouldnt be ready that day because they were very busy and didnt finish everything (despite a 7:30 am appointment, just the routine service, and no problems found). Picked the car up after work the next day and Valley said sorry we were unable to give your car the complimentary wash because we were very busy. O.K. annoying first service but not really a problem I realize things happen and Im an understanding person. Next free warranty service: same exact scenario except add they couldnt give me a loaner car (guess its good I didnt ask for one the first time)!!! Took my car to the bay area for the rest of the free warranty services and always got it back same day and cleaned!. Valley BMW is a disgrace to the BMW reputation.
AWESOME!!! My wife and I are traveling around the country in an M4, put on a lot more miles than expected and needed a service. Even though we showed up last minute and told our situation and needed to get back to New Hampshire by the end of the week. They totally accommodated us, got us in and out. THANK YOU...THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! You guys are AWESOME!!!
Horrible service. I came on a Saturday and they didnt want to service my vehicle because they said they were busy, so they set up an appointment for me on the following Monday because they do not open on Sundays. Keep in mind I live 1 hour and 30 mins away and took a sick day off from work that following Monday, specifically to bring in my car as told. Once I arrive 1 hr 30 mins of traveling on Monday morning the same guy named STEVE said the appointment was accidentally set for a week from that Monday! After his mistakes he refused to help us out or even make an attempt to make-up for his mistake by taking in our car as priority. Really bad REPRESENTATION & extremely rude on both occasions. If I could I would give them +0 STARS! Would NOT RECOMMEND this dealership to anyone.
Steve Varni at Valley BMW is the best. I’ve owned Mercedes, Audi and multiple BMWs. Valley BMW has the best service department and Steve, in particular, always goes above and beyond to make sure I’m taken care of. You guys are awesome. Hope to use these guys for many years to come.
Steve was very helpful made sure my recalls and everything was taken care of same day got in around 930am left at 1230pm i would highly recommend their services they throughly look through every aspect of car and let you know through a video message what needs to be worked on and give you estimate on work i will be going back most certainly
I absolutely love my new X1. Alex was knowledgeable. Thank goodness he figured out that I wanted leather seats. The car I picked did not. So Thank You Alex for listening to me during the test drive! Alex was a complete 5 on Friday. My rating is based on my “how to drive my new car appointment”. In my opinion this was a waste of my time. The ESA was not completed, computers were down. During the appointment I learned nothing more about my car other than what I learned when I made my purchase. I finally called BMW and in a 30 second conversation the ESA was completed. I actually have learned more about car through You Tube. Love that I can roll down the windows with the remote. Found the secret compartment. Double the storage. :-)
Finance Manager Mark Foreman and Internet Manager Mark Chripczuk were a pleasure to work with.Early returned my 2015 I3 REX lease yesterday and drove away with a new 2018 I3 REX. Both Marks were easy to work with an easily earned my business. Drove over 200 miles roundtrip to do this deal in Modesto and the service was much better and faster than my local dealership.I was able to complete and submit many of the key forms in advance and as a result spent less than an hour at the dealership to do my lease return and lease a new car. Thank you Valley BMW!
I would like to thank the staff at Valley BMW for being able to take me in and get my car serviced I know this time people are so uncertain of what’s around them I know everyone is taking precautions to safe so thank you again for being there to service my car you guys Did a great job in servicing my car thank you very much please stay safe
Actually left paying less than was quoted AMAZING FOR A DEALERSHIP!! Job required intake removal on 335i I just replaced them not to long ago and they were actually honest and didnt charge me the 74 for the gaskets. Only reason its 4 star instead of 5 is because dealerships are way over priced for EVERYTHING... oem gaskets can be picked up for 17
Not very happy. To my BMW in to have a light replaced over 2 weeks ago. A part had to ordered. They also said I needed new belts so I let them do that. Took all day! 2 weeks went by. I called and the part had been sitting there for a week. So they fix the problem. I leave and get down the road and my brake sensor goes off. I go back and they tell me I need new brake pads and brake fluid changed. Cost is 285.00. I left and took it somewhere else and was told my brake fluid was clear and didnt need changed and that I have 60% on my brake pads. Now im wondering if I really needed my belts changed. Dont think I will be going back there.
Couldn’t have been better! They addressed all my concerns (some itty bitty picky stuff they didn’t even laugh at😉) It was so convenient to be able to text for status updates & they were very responsive. Having a loaner car to use was an unexpected blessing too! (But now I want that model too!😂)
I have a 2011 BMW 328i convertible with 125k miles still being serviced so that should tell you something. Love and appreciate the customer service team in Modesto. I trust them and they never charge you for services you don’t need. I’m almost ready for that BMW 3 Series M40i !!!
Honestly the person who helped me wasn’t bad but my car was perfectly perfect no lights on nothing wrong and then after I got it back my window motor was broken and then there’s a leak in the engine and my break part is all messed up. It’s just a mess and on top of that I called and they said they would charge me extra to fix it! Unbelievable!! I hate it here it’s such a scam!
For us stanislaus county folks we dont have a choice but i waa lucky enough to get my bmw swrviced from niello sacramento. It was day and night difference, i was offered water and swrvice adviser asked me if i need help. Here i been taking my 750Li, and thia has been so repetetive that i have to actually ask advisers if they can help me. Recently i went thier for door latch issue, i picked up my car the second day and whem i got home my grandpa called me that he cannot shut the rear door( he is the sole driver ). I called russ tje manager he was nice and told me he will go over with the mechanic superviser. I took the car russ was thier w the superviser he looked at the car n told me t leave it for the day, next day i called the service adviser, he said itll take an hour or so.. I run urgent care as a physician and its not easy for me to take breaks or clise my clinic.. after two hours i left him a message to call le back and i mentioned that i have angry patients and if i can pickup car tomorrow, he called me after an hour told me i shoyod drop my rental. I did not wanted t pay fornthe rental, therefor i managed t tell my colleague t cover for me so i can pickup the car, when i got there , he was with (fred) with the another customer, at this point i was told your car is only temporarily fixed due to new parts bieng ordered from germany by the manager, at this point i am loosing my cool and money as i have t bring the car back in addition i wqs charged for the rental. When i saw rental charges on my account i called fred and i told him that i am sick n tired of valley bmw excuses and rhier bad ass attitude he hung up..i call rhe manager left him a message , n than called again, someone picked up the phone n rhan hung up on me.. at this point..I am writing to BMW USA for my experience. Will see what happens

2022-05-12Definitely an experience to brag about!! I’ll say this was one of the best buying experiences I’ve ever had at a car lot, i had the pleasure of working with Alex and he was beyond great. I bought an 2016 Lexus RX 350 that i fell in love with as soon as i seen it, coming in i was very undecided and i appreciated that he was super patient, very knowledgeable and straightforward. He was very accommodating, showed outstanding communication skills and kept me informed about everything from beginning to end. It’s not to many sellers who genuinely want to help you find the best car for you and I’ll say Alex is one of the few who will genuinely help you. I highly recommend buying a car with Alex, and i definitely plan on coming back to do business with him again.

2022-06-29This review is specifically for Thomas who helped me out so much! I was working with him and he was so kind and helpful. They do not take advantage of the demand situation and are super transparent. I ended up going a different direction, and STILL Thomas was so kind and helpful!Appreciate you Thomas! I would recommend him to anyone!

2022-05-11We received great customer service from Alex when searching for a new car. He made the ordering process easy and straight forward. Alex was also great at keeping us in the loop with the progress of the order. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Alex again in the future.

2021-06-09WOW. I train dealerships for a living, and all I can say is that I strive to help my dealers to achieve this level of service. From start to finish, this was one of the best experiences Ive ever had as a consumer ever. My salesperson Monique was beyond professional, knowledgeable, communicative, and accommodating. The business manager Mayra was quick and efficient with the paperwork. Finally, my sales manager John Phillips gave a clear and concise breakdown of the figures, and provided fair and accurate pricing.Take it from a car business professional; get your next BMW here!!!

2022-04-28I had great customer service from Valley BMW especially from Alex Walker. I had been talking to him for the past couple days now. 2022-02-28Poor communication, lack luster attitude, will drive 100 miles to a real dealership with professional service people next time. Not returned a call or text in two weeks, 0 updates. Had car three weeks for warranty work. Was not impressed with any part of this very long unpleasant ordeal. From the twenty minutes standing at service intake desk to the third week of my service tech not responding to calls or texts.

2022-07-06I had to take my BMW in for recalls. They also did an inspection on my car and offered to do this work if I paid for the parts without charging me for the labor. Dropped it off at 1030am and it was ready at 3pm.
