I ordered an electric guitar that had a lot of work done worth near a thousand dollars. The package ended up in the Aliso Viejo UPS location and that was the last stop before it had to get to me. Somehow they are saying it was lost and are not giving any explanation. I know they will not give a full refund for the value of the guitar. It was either stolen by one of the workers or was broken. Totally absurd and unacceptable.
Worst delivery service overall. Three days in the row I received emails from UPS telling me my package will be delivered between 11am and 3:30pm but the package never arrived. During these days, I made calls to UPS, sometimes on hold for half-hour each time, and repeatedly told my package would be delivered tomorrow.I called UPS at the end of the 3rd day and requested that the package be held at the center for me to pick up since I could no longer wait. I was then told that I could pick up the package at the center from 8:00am to 6:00pm the next day (4th day). I showed up the next morning and was told they could not locate my package and would call me when found!The whole system is so bad and service is non existent. Use Fedex!
There was a delivery issue with my package which was nonsense. I called customer service and was advised someone from the local customer service center would call me within the hour. I never received a call. Called again... and never received a callback. Terrible customer service. Plus the agent I spoke with gave me the wrong business hours. I am flabbergasted.
Went to pick up a package that required a signature. Google took me on an expensive toll road to get there on time but thats not UPSs fault. There was plenty of parking, the guy at the counter was helpful and friendly, and he even helped me carry the package to my car. In and out in under 5 minutes!
Always good customer service at the counter. This is where you go to get a next-day air package sent out as late as possible on one day. If I recall correctly, east coast cutoff is 7:00pm for next-day air. Call and check with them to make sure if your shipment is critical.
Worst delivery service I ever used. We are a business. They claim we were closed 2x, which was a complete lie since the door is a open 8am - 6pm and cars are in the parking lot. The door is ALWAYS unlocked during our operating hours 8am - 6pm. We also posted a sign on the doorUPS WE ARE OPEN I will require all vendors we use to ship either US Postal service or FedEx. We will not do business with UPS any more.
The worst shipping and the worst organization, they tell you something and do something else, they made me wait 4 hours on the appointment, and no body is responsible for anything this place must be monitored by the ups corporate, they all must get fired and hire new employee to care about peoples time
Ridiculous customer service!!!!! My package shows out for delivery since 7am from this Aliso Viejo UPS hub 20 mins from my home and it is 4:30pm and my package is still not here. It has signature required so I stayed home when I saw that the package left the facility early morning. Called customer service twice and they cited terms of the delivery and said we have until end of the day to deliver per your overnight air service.. wish I had gone through Fedex, they would have delivered it a lot sooner with great customer service. UPS SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!
It appears their driver stole my package. According to their tracking it was delivered at 2:47pm yesterday. I entered my house at 2:48 using an electronic lock that tracks my time. There was no package there and no UPS truck in site. I called them yesterday and was informed that I would be called within 1 hour. Now 20 hours later I still have not received a call back and i am currently on hold for the 4th time with the main number. In what world is this acceptable? The only logical explanation is they have dishonest staff and they are avoiding calling to avoid getting caught. I will report to police if I have to.
I had a package get lost, as occasionally they do, and I went in very late at night hoping theyd have it. Normally in that situation youre not gonna have any luck, but the women and men I spoke to at this center went above and beyond and found it for me that night. They really had to search, but the whole team came together and made it happen. I cant say enough about how kind and professional the staff I met were. They didnt even make any money from this, but that didnt stop them from saving my hide and finding my package. Wonderful experience. The staff at this location really deserve the highest recognition for being such hard workers! I hope some of you read this review, great job!
They also, left my package at the facility that was to be signed for on Thursday. Waited around all day and continued to call just for them to tell me its out for delivery, youll get it before 10:30pm welp, never got it. This package is a Rx and IS EXTREMELY important and someone decided it was ok to be delivered on Monday... and it is NOT. -EXTREAMLY MAD CUSTOMER!
Kept on hold extended period of time x 2 (15 minutes and then another 45 minutes!). They couldnt find information on a valid tracking # for which I had a pre-paid label emailed to me.Wanted to charge me $5-15 pick up fee for getting package from my doorstep after Target sent wrong model TWICE!! No way! MUCH BETTER SHIPPING COMPANIES OUT THERE THAN THIS LAME COMPANY!
This is a review of UPS in general. I really wish UPS would just go out of business. They will actually sit on packages rather than deliver them early like FedEX and UPS would. Their drivers are more often than not worthless; I had an expensive package come and with signature required; the driver didnt even knock or ring - when I surprised him by opening the door he was writing up a missed delivery slip. Worthless. Then you have the rest of the package handling; they are known for their mistreatment of packages. I despise this company and will often not place orders when I realize that a product will be shipped with UPS.
Dare I say that the UPS union only exists to defend the sh@#* workers who dont care one bit of what they are delivering!!!!! I have had 2 boxes lost with UPS with barely a sorry and one shipped back because I was not home on day of delivery!!! Picture I submited is an example of what I got delivered to me....Nice job!!!
Louis from UPS was very helpful he was very knowledgeable and he went above and beyond his job and duties to help me on the computer to help me get my package shipped and not only that he was kind polite very generous with his offer to help me I seen when I walked in that he was working and he still had a lot of work in a lot of boxes on a little car that he was placing on the conveyor belt but he stopped and said Hi how are you doing Im Lewis can I help you welcome to UPS I thought that was an amazing thing for him to do because I used to work for UPS but I was in real oh and that was all the way in Indiana so by my first experience at the UPS out here in California which I believe the location was Aliso Viejo I dont know the exact the store was 205 it was 205 and he did a great job so that experience it was awesome I thank him for his hard work in his effort for helping me so theres anyone out there that want to ship something that UPS in Aliso Viejo I would recommend going to Luis Rodriguez
I agree with all the others here. Ups had definitely gone WAAAAY downhill. If youre American good luck reaching someone that will understand you. Also be prepared to be on the phone with various people because youll get transferred a few times having to re-explain yr problem to a new person, so prepare for at least 30+ minutes if you decide to call.Also, The UPS my choice app has a release ship ✅ box that customers can check to authorize the pkg to be left wout a signature. This also does not work.UPS is loosing customers and their confidence to deliver wout hassle.Try FedEx. Ask your retailers to also avoid using UPS.maybe they use ups bec they are the cheapest. Well, that would make sense. You get what you pay for.
I would rate this a ZERO STAR if I could but thats not an option. UPS is just HORRIBLE!! I waited home for a package (computer) that required signature all day 1pm - 9pm and it was never delivered and no reason was given. They just said Its been rescheduled for Monday 12/24, which meant i would have to wait another day at home for these clowns to maybe deliver the package. No apologies, no nothing for wasting 2 full days waiting for UPS. You guys have ONE JOB - deliver a package on the day promised. You failed. I know this particular location is not responsible for the delay but this is the only place i could find to post a review. DONT EVER USE UPS IF YOU CAN HELP IT.
Morons. Lost loan docs that were sent overnight on Sat 3/2/18 from Houston. Then you try to call and get some thrid world country where they barely speak English and nobody can connect you with a US English speaking representative. I am very upset terrible I just received a package that is empty was opens and looks like dragged by the car Called an complain but they they can not do anything about it I can just submit the complain, they should ask the delivery person what happened, I don’t trust ups
I work here. Preload. I wish they paid us a little more. But hey, its a chill job, good hours and you get the weekends off. Plus your part of a union.A warning to all new hires or individuals considering to apply. It gets really cold in the winter. The temperature inside the building drops. A lot. Sometimes its colder inside than it is outside. Wear sweatpants underneath your work pants. Helps insulate. If you dont, once your sweat gets cold on your body, youll start to feel hypothermia. No joke. One night in December, the temp dropped to 33 degrees. It was miserable.Careful on consecutive sleepless nights. Youll burn out. Get rest with proper nutrition. Try to arrive 15 mins before your start time. Less rushed and more laid back.
Poorly the driver could not leave it in the office where I live. FEDEX and THE REGULAR MAIL USUALLY LEAVE THERE. Driver was so stupid that he came three times during business hours, they dont get it that people work and he could have left the package in the office to get a signature. I will let Verizon know not to ever used them and use FedEx instead!!!
I hate the fact how inconsiderate some dilivers are my item was over 500$ and limited edition and was left at another apartment E no matter how much of a busy day you may have take the god damb time to look carefully were your leaving the item this is the third time my item is left elsewhere usps never fails to leave it at my correct address how do I report the inconsiderate driver.
I visited the AV facility because my package was not delivered and I was unable to request that they try again because the system said the address did not match the original shipping address, which it did. It also said my package was in the Newport Beach post office which makes no sense because I live in AV. The UPS representative at the counter was rude, had no patience and should not be customer facing. Some of the things he said to me, “you want to have an argument” to which I replied that I was trying to have a conversation with him & that I needed his help. He also said, “I told you three times your package is at the post office but you don’t like the answer”. Shocked at the lack of customer service and down right rudenes, I confirmed with him which post office my package was at & walked out. To make matters worse, my package was NOT at the post office. UPS we expect better. Shame one on you.

2022-07-27My UPS driver has refuse picking up my outgoing prepaid labeled packages even if I have a scheduled delivery. He left me a note saying theyre not suppose to pick up prepaid labeled outgoing packages that I have to bring them to a UPS Store now. Is that a new rule?

2022-05-17My experience was unique at best. I live in an apartment in costa mesa, and had troubles receiving my package. They tried for three days including me being home for one day. They claimed to have left a notice on my door which was false and also failed to leave my packages inside of the provided parcel locker. I created an account and even approved them to leave it at the front door. All of these attempts however failed and my packages were not delivered. I called and scheduled a pickup in Aliso Viejo. When I arrived my packages were not present but was instantly saved by louie. Louie went above and beyond and wanted to get to the bottom of this. He personally found out what happened and kept me updated. In the same day an hour later called me and said hey I have your packages. He personally unlocked the door after hours and gave me my packages. It restored my faith in ups as it shows 100 percent how one person can change everything. Can’t thank him enough for all he did. Louie if you say this thank you a million times.

2022-03-22I absolutely have loved having a UPS Customer Service Center near me, but lets be honest COVID is over, mask mandates are off but, this service center is only open weekDAYS and 2 different two hour periods a day. It has been like this since COVID, started over two years ago. Its annoying to me and everyone who arrives to find out they are closed till 4pm? This service center should get back to servicing for the entire business day. Thank you!

2021-04-24They have lost my package, lied about coming to my door, there was a UPS WORKER WHO CAME AND BROUGHT MY ROOMATES CONTACT LENSES! No notice was left at my door, Ive called several times, they lied and said they left the package at The Newport Beach Access Center 1 block from my home, but then I had the access center call them and they admitted to losing the package!! Horrible customer service at this place, the worst Ive waited two weeks for my package and lost a lot of money from this as my customers need there fillers and botox put in. $ 400.00 worth of products and thousands that I would have received from my work and sit around clueless.. they should be embarrassed by their employees behavior ...so unprofessional.

2021-03-05I left a package at the center. The service technician did not gave me tracking slip, He was great all these years. I kind of trusted him that it will arrive at destination. Now it hasnt reached. There was cellphone that I was sending back to AT&T as trade in. They never received it. I think this person at Aliso Viejo location stole it. I am not sure how to handle this.

2020-05-12I am so happy with this UPS facility. I had a package needing a signature, driver knocked but I was in the shower. I went to the customer service center after hours and a nice guy Luis helped me out. He told me the driver was still out. He offered to call me when the driver came back so I could drive up and grab it. He called and I showed up and he walked it out to me. So happy

2020-02-13They shipped my package to my old address half an hour away even though the shipping address was correct, I ordered through amazon that had items coming in 2 different shipments with the other shipment being through amazon itself which made it to the correct address the day before. Dont really understand how UPS couldnt find the right address and instead decided to ship it to the wrong address without attempting to contact me before making that decision. Really, how do they mess up that bad?

2020-09-11I was initially impressed with your representatives knowledge , speed and accuracy of her work as a notary as well as the postal work that she was handling.We left the facility with our notarized document, but I left my briefcase on a shelf near where we were standing. Unfortunately, it held my wallet with several hundred dollars of cash, my personal computer, my flight computer and several of my credit cards.When I called to see if they had seen my briefcase, she replied that she saw it a bit later and thought that it might be mine and secured it in a safe place. She could have simply put it in her car and denied any sight of it.I am thrilled at the honesty and effort that she took to safeguard it until my return.Her name is a Taranto Dalaei
