I used to go to several camps here, the park is great for a walk and taking a dog here, and the park has several courts for tennis, racquetball, basketball, volleyball, and theres a large open field for people to bring out their own equipment and play other sports. This park is clean and staff often are seen replacing the garbage and making sure the park is clean.
Big park with a lot grassy space to play sports or just run around in circles. The park has a couple of swings and two different play apparatuses. Theres also a small rock boulder for the kids to climb on. There are public restrooms.as.well. The park is right next to Adventure Park which offers even more awesome fun for the kids (check times for that park as it is gated).
Adventure Playground is truly amazing for the kids kids of all ages love playing with the giant Legos to build castles and forts to break and rebuild over and over again. Its really fun to watch all the different children of different ages interact creating building playing having fun. The slides and other jungle gym equipment are excellent as well theres not much I have to complain about this place it really is a fun park for kids of all ages.
Very big tennis courts, though your equipment can be stolen here. Just like me, if you have a lot of equipment (ball tubes, a few tennis racquets, 100+ tennis balls, etc.) your equipment will disappear. There are many people who come into your courts and will go back out. Most of the time, you might think theyre just watching you play, but also they come next to your equipment and you might seem that they are going to steal your equipment. The park; which is very large, has almost everything you can imagine. A swing, a spinning wheel, a triple slide, several sets of monkey bars, and a climbing rock . It is also a very nice place to take a walk with your family during a summer evening.
The plastic slide was out the last time I went but I love this park. They have giant legos and cement slides, walking area, discreet wall around the entire playground, a water play area, and bathrooms inside the walls. One note of warning, when going down the cement slide, go with your child the first time. I noticed the lighter kids fly off but say- my 45 lb 4 year old barely scoots down. So if you have a lighter child just go down one slide while holding your kids hand. Adults barely go down at a snails pace.
Adventure Playground is a great place for kids to have fun and still be safe without too much supervision. Only one way in and out of Adventure Playground and the parents have to sign the kids in and sign them out. But there is lots of room to run around and giant Legos and just a great place for kids to have fun. Kids can be kids.
Awesome park to let your kids run wild. There is dirt and water, so bring water shoes and clothes that can get trashed. Huge open area that is easily viewed from the sitting areas so its easy to let your kids do their thing without needing to follow them around. Playground, building blocks, trucks, sand, giant checkers, books...something for everyone.
The adventure park is so unique, it has a big slide coming out of a fort, netting tunnels, mud, giant blocks to build, water play area with water spouts, big concrete slides, books, chalk, Zen garden, bathrooms, changing tables, walkways for strollers around the park. Its all fenced in except the front entrance, they also have crafts, foosball, table tennis... So much fun! They also have picnic tables but they fill up quickly. Ive seen people bring blankets and chairs to have lunch on the lawn.
WE LOVE ADVENTURE PARK!1. They have bathrooms inside!2. Concrete slides, like whaaaaaaaat!3. Obstacle courses for your mini ninja warriors!4. Huge LEGO bricks for your future engineers3. Trucks and mud!!!!Bring an extra change of clothes and rain boots so the kids can play hassle free! There is a sidewalk for anyone with strollers and a few benches as well. When we came here the jungle gym had a huge slide that was broken! But the lids didn’t mind. Honestly such a good place for little explorers!
Nice old small park. 4 Tennis courts, 3 Racquetball courts, and 3 walls to practice tennis. 2 sand volleyball courts. All the courts have lights. Theres a small sidewalk trail loop maybe 1/8 mile total. Decent size field to fly a kite but kind of deep grass for soccer and no lighting. Medium size playground with lots of different swings, bars, nets, slides, etc..I would give it 5 stars if it was a full basketball court and if the volleyball had softer sand with no little rocks.
I am always happy to find community spaces where people can gather to enjoy the beauty of each day. This is a very nice park with basketball, tennis, and racket ball courts. There are also picnic tables and grills. It is next to a public library and an elementary school.
My kids and I adore this playground. There is so much to do here. Building with the giant legos is my personal favorite. Everytime we go its like a different park becuase of the new lego buildings/towers. It is a bit far from where we live but its worth the drive. Honestly, I would pay to come here but it is totally free. The parking can run out easily but like I said totally worth it.
Huge plastic block structures that some dumb man was building were DANGEROUSLY tall and eventually fell over making a huge loud noise. No kids injured today but Im sure itll happen (sadly). Please do something about that or just get rid of those stupid blocks. Foam type outside building blocks like the blue ones at the Pasadena Kids Space Museum, are WAY safer. Other than the block danger, great Park.
One of the nicest parks in Irvine. It has tennis courts, raquetball, a huge playground and even bigger open grassy space to play and explore with your kids. It is distanced from major highways too so it seems a lot safer than other parks that are adjacent o major arterial roads.Highly recommend this for parents with kids looking for a park adventure.
The park is awesome. Lots of greens. Tennis, racquetball, volleyball and basketball courts. Has a restroom that opens at 9 and closes at dusk, next to the office. We were there to play volleyball and arrived an hour earlier to reserve the courts. We had more than 20 people. Before we even started to play, a group of so-called regulars said that they always play there and that they had the right to use the courts. WHAT? This is a public park, it runs as first come first serve basis. If you want to have the right to use the court, come early, have someone stand there and use the court or make more money and build a park with a volleyball court where you can play anytime. We were nice enough to let them use one of the court while the 24 of us had to rotate and play 1 game at the time. Worse thing was another group of so-called regulars told us that they wanted to use our court after we are done. Excuse me? Why are you pushing us to give you the court? Why dont you go stand in line and try to get the other court? Overall, beautiful park with great amenities but the people that kicked us out from the court are a disappointment.
There is a borderless elementary school in the park hereWhen I was walking in the park, was it in the elementary school premises someday? ? ?Im surprised because its not like AmericaOther elementary schools are only surrounded by high fences and fences ...Not even in Japan like this

2022-06-29To be fair, we came here for the Adventure Playground. It was closed even though the website said it was open. The aygrpund was nothing special as far as playgrounds go, but there was a library right next to it for a safe amd clean bathroom option for the kids. I will update when we actually go inside adventure playground .

2022-03-31We love finding little parks where we can get in a short walk with our dog. This park is very clean and looks nice. Nothing too special or crazy, but weve been back a few times to get some time outdoors.

2022-05-23A fun spot for little kids to play and use their imagination. There are several climbing Reas, a wet area, a building block section with giant lego-like blocks, and sandy spots everywhere. Its definitely kid friendly...even i wanted to climb and build

2019-04-16The Adventureland Park is a really nice place to visit with children. Its a very spacious area where kids can play in the mud, build human sized lego house and overall have a good time. I came here with some friends and their kids, and the good thing is you can bring your own food and have a picnic.
