First, I often dont receive my mail until AFTER 8 pm. - sometimes they bring it earlier. Ive never complained. Ive recently had several packages delivered to the wrong address. One was returned to sender, one is lost in the PO lost and found. I was told the sender would have to make arrangements to change the mislabeled package at lost and found. I personally tracked down 2 of the packages myself after going to the PO 3x in 3 days. I met the mgr - rude little man! He was extremely rude to the woman in line before me. I tried to be kind, but he was almost as rude to me as he was to her. Now, today, as Im tracking another package I see that no authorized recipient avail. on the tracking. Ive got my fingers crossed 🤞 that I actually am able to retrieve it at the office. I called the office the recording tells me there is a 1 hr 9 min wait. This service is appalling. These incidents have all happened in the span of 3 weeks. I usually dont post things like this, but since I cant get anywhere with the post office, I thought I would be a conscientious consumer and let the world know they should be very wary of this particular office. So sad. 😟
You hear a lot of horror stories about using USPS, but honestly my experience was almost perfect, despite it being a busy day *and* during the holidays (Dec 10th, 2018, around noon). The staff here were all courteous and expedient with their work, and not only shipped out my 10 packages really quickly (all prepaid labels), but they quickly restocked any Priority Mail boxes that were out of stock. While I was there I saw them move a ton of people through pretty quickly. Somebody came by while I was being helped and said the package dropoff was full, and they fixed it right away.The only downside was I couldnt use the self-service kiosk, not sure if its just new and needs bug fixing but there was an error message saying that the package shipping function was broken, so at least it told me right away rather than wasting time. The staff were also nice to people in line. All in all, probably the best USPS experience Ive had so far.
I love the drive thru mailboxes. I am disabled and it is wonderful to not have to park and walk inside.I cant comment on the service because I havent been inside this location. But I have found that most postal workers who deal with the public are overworked and subject to a lot of abuse from customers. When I give them a smile and walk up with a greeting before asking for whatever I need I get pretty good service. It is not always perfect, but hey, they are human and have bad days just like we do. Give them a breaker be grateful that is not you standing behind the counter 8 hrs a day dealing with abusive customers.
May of 2017 two of my checks were missing, I had my company to stop payment on the checks and drove to pick them up in person. I opened a case and 6 months later the checks were delivered to my p.o. box. This year in May three checks went missing. I tried over and over to call, no one ever answers the phone. Im not complaining, Im sharing.
Lets be honest,Leaving bad comments wont help guys, wont work here especially something thats being run by the government this establishment is and will always be the same.(Only thing to do is call congress)Demand Change!Trust me I have over 700 reviews and they help other businesses and locals. But reviews wont help here.Its the Government,its Extremely Congested, and its the lowest price in town.What can you expect from a company that doesnt fire its employees? And offers a comfortable secure job for many years.Yes, we the public pay the price. But get over it. Its been like this for 50 years and you think that with a few bad comments its going to change? Wow? Really?If that where true I would simply call up my health provider and tell them they need to drop my medicine prices.
This place is horrendous. Terrible customer service. Unfriendly attitudes (older asian lady). Went in to deliver a package with prepaid label. Just needed it scanned. She said NO after I stood in line for almost 20 mins. These old Asian ladies need to be replaced with younger, friendlier people. I am extremely close to this post office, but I will rather make a longer trip to Lawndale to a much better post office.
Really unprofessional. The carrier doesnt even bother to come to the door to knock and lies in the report that a notice is left. Luckily I had signed up for text messages and got a text for notice left. When I came to the post office no one can find the package even with tracking number. I paid extra for 2 day shipping on Amazon and now stranded at the post office.
They CONSTANTLY deliver mail to the wrong address in my townhome and i even addressed it with the mail carrier herself! I still get other peoples mail and my packaging gets lost as well! What kind of people do you guys have working where they cant deliver mail to the right address? Will be filing complaint starting today and everyday i get someone elses mail or my mail in the wrong mail boxes because this shouldnt be my job to hand deliver the right mail to houses that you guys at USPS should be doing right in the 1st place!!
I have a package that end up in that post office to north station and I called them they say it was returned to regional distribution center and at night I have the text message from USPS it delivered and I leave in carson then I called them again I spoke to a woman with no manner it say it was delivered on my next neighbor , I went to my neighbor they say they dont have a package , shes a liar son of a b!$#@ then I went to carson post office they show me a map where it was delivered !! I hope my package got retrieve chances is the package is gone .
This is definitely one of the last standing Post Office in the north Torrance area it is a wonderful place to make your postal needs easy the staff the whole team as well as the supervisor are outstanding to the highest caliber they all need to be recognized we are in tough times they are handling everything professionally to get your mail parcel or any other type of shipment to you and to get your shipments out to the Destiination I have been going 40 years to this location I have also driven The distance to be here just to do my mail and parcel deliveries keep in mind all of the posts office are always extremely busy it’s not just the representatives that are serving you when you are in line waiting your turn be patient they are doing a lot behind the glass window to make it all happen for you each customer has different needs and they are on top of it all that’s why there is a Wait just like anywhere else great service at the window there is a lot going on behind them I’ll just call it the sorting room because I do not know the technical name I know it is a big warehouse and it is very busy 24 hours a day if you are having problems all you need to do is ask for the supervisor and it will be resolved this is a friendly place to take care of your business and make yourself some friends.
This post office has lost 3 of my packages and a certified mail. My postal carrier is lazy and is always taking short cuts. Our mail is constantly being delivered to the wrong address and our neighbor brought us a letter from the irs that had been sitting in the gutter. This office needs a total rehaul.
Always try to rip me off! Went there recently because my printer was broken and i usually print and ship from home. The lady at the front desk tried to charge me 6.00 to ship a book! You cant charge that much to ship a book its media it should be like no more than 3.00She wouldnt do it so i went to the Carson post office a day later and they charged me 2.59 to ship it! This is not the first time this has happened for this reason i will never go there again!
Customer service is horrible, employees are lazy especially one who tried to talk me out of add tracking to my orders i am sending out to clients because they didnt want to do the extra work. You would think in a affluent neighborhood like Torrance the customer service would be better but i have had better customer service in watts, inglewood and gardena.
This place is SUPPOSED to be open at 6am for people to come pick up mail from their boxes. The person is CONSISTENTLY late. I work early and stay late and its quite a hassle to come pick up my mail when they are SUPPOSED to be open at 6am. They REALLY need to get it together.
It is Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at 7:16pm and we have not received our mail. I am injured, I am ill i am awaiting word from the insurance company and the hospital. All aforementioned assured me I would receive it in the mail today. At 7:16 our block has not even seen the mail truck.This is ridiculously bad service!

2019-12-26Nothing special about this place. My experience has been not bad, unlike others have had, though. I think it depends on what time of the day, or what day of the week you go, and sometimes you just get lucky not waiting in line too long. Understandably there was only one worker attending at the windows on the next day of Christmas.

2021-10-16Dorothy is our carrier and has been for the past 20 years. She pays attention to detail. The names on the mail, she knows us and looks out for us. I remember one time a package came for my child to the post office after she had already been here. This was a day or two before christmas, she went out of her way to make sure my kiddo got it before Christmas. Friendly lady. She is more part of the family then a service person. Thank you Dorothy !

2021-05-07Absolutely terrible customer service. People who work there have no sense of urgency and will happily waste your time.We went to put approx 25 priority mailers and they told us no, it’s too many, go use the self service machine. The machine caps out at 20 pieces of mail, but this was new information to the people working there. They tell us to go back in line.We had to go back in line and they tell us no more than 4 pieces at a time. I asked them if that is their policy and where it was posted that’s their policy. The guy working at the counter while a dozen people begin backing up won’t give me a straight answer. Absolutely awful experience. DO YOUR JOB!

2021-04-27I read some reviews from this page and I don’t know if people do not realize that the rating is for the commercial structure in this location. There are complaints about mail getting lost, mail delivery truck being too loud and even complaints about mailman looking tired. This location is almost always busy. However they get the job done with what they have. You can either wait here and save money or go to ups or FedEx and pay 10x more.

2020-10-02Could be never ending story.... package what Im waiting for has not a matched address and zip code. Address is city of Inglewood, zip code is Torrance. Tracking app shows my package has been moved around Torrance - LA dist. center - Inglewood - LA dist.center - Torrance,,, due to Zip code and address are not matched up... Several calls to Customer service even though stopped by Inglewood USPS was not successful... Only I got wait till you get it. This morning, the USPS tracking app shows my package arrived at Torrance 90504, I was heading to USPS and looked for someone who may helps me. If I miss the chance to intercept it, it will be back to LA dist.center and goes another round again. One of employee, Maximo Villanueva, read anxiety in my eyes and asked me help while he was cleaning the front area to prepare the business,,, He tries to figured out the status but no luck. When he said sorry to me, he read one more time on my phone to look up the scan history, he realized the scan time which shows it was scanned 40 min ago at his office. He backed to the sorting room and found out the package. Wonderful morning he gave me and he stopped the looping movement of package delivery. Everyone has explained to me by based on a system status. That info already I have thru the tracking app. No System is perfect because it was created by human being. He has an ability how to read a customers mind and resolve the problem. The best asset in your office. Thanks.

2021-08-20Extremely rude staff. Unwilling to help, even for a simple package drop off. They only direct you to the self service kiosk, and will not answer any of your questions. They took my two priority mail express packages without scanning them or giving me a receipt. Don’t go here!

2021-02-08This 5-Star Review is all because of Patric. Hes the best USPS employee I ever met. For over 6 months he has been coming to my business picking up 20-50 packages without complaining once, opposite! He even offer to show up later if were not done with the packages. Cred to Patric! I hope he gets the recognition that he deservers, I have had multiple other USPS staff and some of them has been very rude, but he makes up for them all.- The Pavalon

2019-12-184 stars - The staff inside the post office are all very nice and helpful.0 stars - Their mail hold process. I used to set up mail holds online and I had no problem but it all went downhill when our regular mail carrier retired two years ago. I usually set up the mail hold starting the day before I leave to make sure that the mail hold is in place and the mail always shows up so I have to go to the post office and let them know that my mail hold should have started that day. So Im going to have to go and set up my future mail holds at the post office because theres obviously a disconnect somewhere...

2021-01-25I noticed a review from someone else (below) that says I love the drive thru mailboxes. I am disabled and it is wonderful to not have to park and walk inside. HOWEVER, they started locking them after they pick up the last mail at 5:00 p.m. I drove up to find out that the drive-up mailbox has a metal latch and lock over it. This is PATHETIC! And my letter carrier is constantly delivering wrong mail to me. Sometimes it is the same house number but an entirely different street. Awful service.UPDATE REGARDING DRIVE-UP MAILBOXes: They have removed them completely. Now you need to get out of your car and go up to a box by the door, or go inside. This is bad news for the handicapped, or for any who cant easily get out of their car, etc. This was a terrible move on the part of the Postal Service. We should drop the word service.

2019-06-28This is an ongoing issue. This is the 3rd time Ive had a package scheduled to be delivered and for whatever reason the postman/woman marks the delivery as Notice left(no secure area available) but I live in a gated apartment complex that you need a code to get into. On top of that this time when they left the notice I get home to find a different package at my doorstep from USPS! I rescheduled the package to be delivered today, its getting pretty late so it looks like that wont happen either even though we already received mail in our box so I know USPS has been here already. In addition to their incompetence its virtually impossible to talk to someone to get my issue resolved. The wait time on the phone is well over an hour and theyre closed by the time I get off work. So now I have to take time out of my day off to fix the problem they caused because they cant do their job right.
