Nice atmosphere,quiet, even though it was full of diners. Food came quickly. I had sausage patties with eggs & hash browns. My son had chicken and waffles. Server was polite and came to us to inquireif we needed anything several times. Many people were lingering because it was cool inside. People were waiting for seating.Food was very good. Better than other places in town which serve American food. I live here. I wish it were a secret but travelers should know its a good place to eat. They have a great variety of items for lunch & dinner too. Top notch.
So inconsistent! Sometimes really good... Sometimes horrible! If they cook the fish and steaks correctly its good... but out of eating there 12 times in the last 8 months, the meat has been over cooked 50% of the time.

Tukanovie has really stepped up since the remodel. The menu and variety of items on the menu are great. The food is off the HOOK as well as the service. If you have a chance try the country eggs Benedict. It is very delicious.
I celebrated my nomination this evening in this great restaurant. I am glad to say that it was a awesome evening and the venue was undoubtedly the reason for that happy evening. The stuff contributed in a lovely manner, the cooking was yummy and my guests were very happy. We shall definitely visit again for more celebrations. Thank you very much.

We shared a Prime Rib dinner and had a Salad and a bowl of Clam Chowder all was very good and we would recommend it to anyone whos looking for a good meal

We came to this restaurant for dinner. my friend recommended this place. Well, it was very successful. The staff were extremely nice and we felt very good. The meal was fresh and delicious. We enjoyed every moment and we will definitely return to this restaurant. we highly recommend this place.
The casino restaurant, with the rehire of F&B manager Bob Mitton, has improved back into a terrific place to eat.Their breakfast is an inexpensive pace to enjoy a delectable meal. Add to it the wait staff is impressive, including Jessi & Mariana. They are an impressive wait team that wont have you waiting long for your food.The lunch menu is also varied, but my favorite is the Palace Burger. Cant hardly beat it!
Its good if you order out but if your going to eat inside please dont, I mean unless your ok with every bite you take of your food tastes like tobacco. People everywhere with cigarettes because of the casino literally five feet away. Its cool and all if you smoke and gamble but if you dont this place shouldnt have the restaurant part I dont know how inhaling second hand smoke while you eat is healthy.
Worst service ever!!! we were a party of 5 on fathers day and werent initially helped for about 20 min, after being skipped several times. not one time during our meal of mediocre food were we asked if everything was ok or if we wanted more coffee. the rude server handed us our meals, yes, handed, not set on the table and then walked off without asking if we needed anything else. several benches were ripped out and had regular chairs placed over the torn up cement. Just all around a waste of time and money not to mention a terrible fathers day breakfast!! Never will i go here again,highly UNrecomended.

It is a wonderful place to eat. Has a very nice menu for all meals. Its an enjoyable casino and great folks. We have visited and enjoyed it numerous times when in Bishop. Would recommend to folks who enjoy a small casino with a very nice restaurant.

We love this casino because its nice & small... But Not too SMALL!Nice 2b @ Mammoth Mountain, & 2 drive down 2 Bishop 4 several hours... We left camp site @ 7:30 pm got back @ about 1:00 am, finally got 2 bed & shower @ about 2:30 am.We had an awesome time last night, and only spent $30.00

A small but mighty restaurant inside the Pauite Palace Casino. Locals hang out here. Breakfast is our favorite meal and come here for the omelettes and chicken fried steak. Present your players club card for a discount on your breakfast. This discount is also written on the menu, it is not a secret. On Fridays and Saturdays there is an awesome prime rib dinner, my wifes favorite. It comes with choice of type of potato baked, french fries or mashed, a veggie side dish, an onion dill bun, and au jus. They start serving this at 430 pm, and usually it sells out. You also get a discount on the prime rib with your players club card. The service is friendly and reasonably fast except of course when they are busy. Dont forget to try their special on Wednesday evening, it is the barbecued beef ribs, thee rib portions and comes with two sides barbecue beans, coleslaw and french fries too. You can ask for ice water with lemon in a glass to go (for free) if playing in the casino after dinner, or a cup of coffee to go in a big to go cup (you do pay for this).

Pricy but then again I’m new to California. I ordered chicken Caesar salad and it was like $20!!! That’s high and all I tasted was salt! If that’s your thing then you’ll love it.
Im sorry I will never eat at this restaurant. It is not good food. Then the servers had us waiting for more then 34min. We didnt even have our drinks.

Ate at restaurant on trip to mammoth breakfast..steak and eggs was really good and service was amazing and also won 150 on the way out...paid for my lift ticket...food it mammoth is expensive for sorry service so drove back down the mountain to eat after snowboarding each day...prime rib was amazing and will return on our next trip

2022-05-15Out family really enjoyed this restaurant leaving extremely full and happy. There was a bit of a wait but was worth the wait. The prime rib dinner was the special that my parents split. They were so nice to split the meal for them as you see plated in the picture to maintain the presentation of the food. I Loved my rib-eye. Perfectly cooked with lots of flavor. The jackpot Alfredo dish with garlic bread was a hearty portion and heavy that my friend could not finish. The chicken club sandwich was good per my husband. They also served on the table some herb bread with whipped butter. I definitely recommend this place but be prepare to wait. You will be able to entertain yourself until your table is ready with the casino where they will overhead page you that your table is ready. Everyone was very friendly. I hope you have a great experience as we did.

2021-10-21I have had 3 very good to excellent meals here since they reopened. I took off a point for leaving the foil on the baked potato since the presentation is better on other items. One time getting a cocktail took forever - we had almost finished our meals when they finally arrived. Coffee and sodas come out before the food.Servings are large, breakfast especially. Everything has been perfectly cooked and the Cobb salad came with just the right amount of dressing for me, enough to flavor each bite but not overpower the salad. Their rib eye is very flavorful. The spaghetti came with large meatballs and plenty of sauce.

2021-04-30This restaraunt is wonderful. We ate here and had steaks that were out of this world. The service was great. I am using my player points to get lunch to go. It took a while to get my order in because my server Jose is here alone. Its lunchtime and he has quite a few tables he is serving. Taking go Orders. Running the register. Seating people as they come in. Nice restaraunt, bright, clean and welcoming. But the best part was Jose. Thanks Jose for the discount for the wait. I m a Be back.

2022-04-25Hot tea rating: 4 stars pre filled cup of hot water and a tea pot with more water as well as a spoon and cup of lemon slices. sweetener was at the table the. But the best part EXTRA TEA BAGS! With a wide selection from herbal to black teas only docked one start for lack of cremer.

2022-01-01Pizza is the best in town, I’ve tried them all! I have had the opportunity to eat breakfast and lunch with TuKaNovie so far since reopening and have enjoyed them both. I was so hungry I didn’t think to take pictures. Next time for sure!!
