Five star is not enough!You are not to far to receive this professionalism due like I did, Shana.On February of 2021 I had the pleasure to meet Dr. Jamie Estrella for another opinion about dental implants. “The best dentist visit”The doctors and all the ladies are so professional, honest and kind!On March Dr. Miguel Estrella did my surgery, all the bottom teeth and four upper front teeth removed and I got my temporary implants! After the surgery I had no pain, no swelling and no bruising and no problem with my temporary implants!Yesterday September 1st I got my permanent upper implants! I’m so happy and I have a beautiful smile! I will get my bottom permanent implants in one month and I’m sure they’re beautiful and I’ll be very happy!Thank you Dr.Jamie and Dr. Miguel Estrella for my beautiful smile and all you’ve done for me!🙏🙏And a big thank you to all the ladies in the office for helping me and taking care of me!🙏
This is the best dentist I’ve ever been at they made me feel very comfortable and they did everything that I thought they would do for me I love every minute of it and I usually don’t like Dentist but this one was really great. They listen to my concerns and addressed all the problems I had.

I have a genuine fear of the dentist and because of this my teeth have been neglected for over a decade. If it was not for getting married I think that my teeth would still be a mess. Around June 2021 I finally had the courage to make an appointment with TruSmile Dental Implant Center. From the first call, I felt at ease and was reassured that I was going to be taken care and that I shouldnt be worried. I honestly was skeptical and extremely nervous. I remember walking into the office so scared that my palms were sweaty but I was greeted with the most friendliest staff ever. They were very kind and friendly and they sensed that I was nervous and said that I was at the right place. From getting my X-rays to the consultation I was a nervous wreck but when I met Dr. Jaime Estrella that all went away. He reassured me that he can help me and even better just in time for my wedding in August 2021. He helped me with getting my financials in order and then i was booked for surgery a week later. Day of surgery, Dr. Miguel Estrella met with me and said he was going to take care of me and that I shouldnt worry as he saw that I was super nervous. Everything went so well! The only thing was that I wish I was put under instead of being half awake because the procedure got me really nervous and there were times where I was going to freak out a little. After everything was said and I done I am 10000000% happy with the results. The staff followed up with me and they asked how I was and if I was in pain. I really felt taken care of and I never expected that at a dental office. I love my smile and it showed on my wedding day. Looking forward to getting the additional work done to have a perfect smile. Thank you Dr. Jaime and Dr. Miguel for giving me my self confidence back and a beautiful smile.
I spoke with LUNA and she graciously helped me with setting up a consultation with a dentist about getting an extraction and dental implant. She was one of the nicest receptionists I have EVER came in contact with. She was very friendly and truly cared about my situation. She is a great asset to your company!! Exceptional service and implant quality! I am extremely grateful to both Dr. Miguel and Jaime Estrella and their friendly, professional staff. I took my mother after she broke a molar and had several missing teeth. They immediately scheduled her procedure and got her out of pain. My mother has high anxiety, but was placed at ease with the care given by the entire practice. We had called other places that did not offer immediate help, and finally found TruSmile Dental Implant Center! They dont treat you as just any number, as we have dealt with in the past. They truly care about the wellbeing of their patients and guide you every step of the way! My mother did not have Any pain, and is extremely happy with her new teeth!
I have had a wonderful experience at Estrella Dental. The staff and doctors are fantastic, friendly, professional and very welcoming. Their office is comfortable and always clean. The fact that most speak Spanish is also a huge plus. I would highly recommend their services to everyone!
When I went in To Trusmile , I was embarrassed to show my teeth to the doctors. Dr. Jaime and Dr. Miguel Estrella are the best, they made me feel so comfortable. All of the ladies are exceptional. On June 9, 2021.I had my upper surgery done. I didn’t feel any pain when my upper implants was done. After a week what minimum swollen I was able to smile and see a big difference. August 5, 2021. I got lower implants done. I am so happy and excited about my results with my temporaries I can’t stop😁😄😀. I just can’t wait until I get my permanents implant in. I really want to see the finished product. I look different to myself and to my husband but in a very good way. Everyone is extremely nice in the office, the office is clean and it was a fabulous experience from start and I will come back to let you know how it is when it’s completely finish. My experience at TruSmile Dental was easier than I expected. All the staff was friendly and helpful. Always got in on my scheduled time and the final appt. my teeth looked amazing. Would recommend them to anyone that need implants.
I came in with a half chipped tooth. Everyone was very friendly and professional. The consult was through and honest and they were able to fix my tooth at a fair price. They matched my front tooth with the other and I was extremely pleased with the care, compassion and professionalism that I experienced. I was able to walk out confident and feeling better. I would highly recommend to everyone.
I would give Tru Smile Dental Implant Center 20 stars if I could. When I went in for my consultation I already knew I wanted implants. Both doctors sat down and talked with my husband and I for an hour. There was absolutely NO pressure or sales tactics! They took us through the entire process, and actually told us that the other two implant centers I was planning on visiting had excellent services and good doctors!! I had my procedure just over 3 weeks ago. I feel great, was back to work after two days, and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my new smile!!!!!My only regret is that I waited this long!! Their facility is beautiful and everyone of the staff make you feel welcome and cared for!!! I did consult with two other Dental Implant Centers and I am soooo very glad I chose Tru Smile. There have been no surprises, everything has gone just as we expected. This has been a stress free, hassle free experience and well worth every penny!!!!!!!!!
I went to TruSmile to get a second opinion. Another implant dentist insisted an implant would resolve a long running sinus issue. For $4,500.The office staff were very warm and friendly- seemed very happy!The dentist at TruSmile looked at the scans, examined the tooth, and said there was nothing wrong with the tooth, the sinus may or may not be the problem and he would not recommend pulling the tooth and doing an implant.He could have said lets do it and made money. Instead he put me, the patient first.While I have not experienced their dentistry, I have experienced their ethics. And on that basis I recommend TruSmile very highly.
I Was scared to think of going to the dentist until I could not avoid it anyl longer! I love this office. From the moment you walk in you feel welcomed & are greeted by the friendliest front office girls. The doctors and the back office staff also make you feel so comfortable. Everyone is always smiling & really enjoy being at work. I have had multiple dental procedures done (from extractions to crowns) and am very happy with the quality of work. I also really enjoy getting my cleanings done by the awesome dental hygienist Brenda. All of my appointments here have been great & I would highly recommend Estrella Dental to all of my family & friends!
I love this dentist, that says a lot considering I don’t like the dentist. I have been coming to Estrella Dental for 8 + years now. My whole family comes to this office. They are very kind, gentle and will take care of any concerns you have. Along with making you feel at ease. Everyone here are the sweetest people. Very dissatisfied with my treatment. Regular mistakes made on my teeth with promises of resolving it and doctor couldnt resolve the same mistakes being made. Given a partial refund which wont cover the cost for another dentist to complete my treatment. Very friendly staff but unable to complete the job they were paid to do and wouldnt compensate me for their last minute canceled appointments and lab screw ups even though I was driving from Arizona! Wasted my time and am now stuck with anchors and no teeth or the money to finish the job they failed to do! Dont waste your time or money unless your willing to settle for something you arent happy with
From start to finish this office is 5 stars all around. I’ve receive several dental procedures done at this office and they are easy to work with, very friendly, helpful, and professional. You are in great hands at this office! I would recommend them for all your dental needs. Had my first visit & consultation. Staff was welcoming, friendly, efficient and professional. Every detail of treatment is explained prior to being performed. They are very patient and kind and knowledgeable and make you feel like you are their only patient. From the moment I walked in the service was excellent including the front desk. I worked with the dental assistant who did my teeth whitening and she was fantastic. The dentist were also very knowledgeable and approachable. After my first teeth whitening visit I saw an immediate change, after I completed my second session the change was immediate and incredible. They also provided me with a kit to continue my teeth whitening after. I totally recommend the teeth whitening here at this place, everyone is awesome!
I highly recommend Estrella Dental for cosmetic work and dental implants. I had cosmetic reconstruction done to my top teeth and had one implant (soon to be two) placed on the bottom. I couldn’t be happier with their work. I had no pain whatsoever and so many people have complimented me on my smile. If you are simply looking for the best, then this is the office to go to. This has been by far the best dentist experience I have ever had. Dr. Jaime & Dr. Miguel as well as his staff made me feel very welcome and made me feel comfortable throughout my whole process. I had a very bad experience elsewhere where I was told I could not have any implants done. Once I had my consultation it was a surprise that they were able to place my implants. This was a very long process which took about a year and still throughout the year I was treated very well. I highly recommend this dental office and would definitely refer many people here.

And going to yet another dentist was not what I wanted to do when I started having problems with my teeth.A coworker recommended Estrella Dental. So I made an appointment. And what a pleasant surprise! The staff is so incredibly kind and professional. I never thought Id see the day when going to the dentist would be a pleasant experience! From the moment I stepped through the door, I was comfortable and at ease even though I was facing a huge procedure in my immediate future. The brothers were professional, kind, informative and genuinely concerned over my future well being. My previous dental-work was now old and deteriorating with cavities beneath the crowns. The procedure I was to have is called 4 on 1 on the lower jaw.;7 extractions and 4 implants! I was calm going into the surgery and didnt experience any pain or anxiety though fully awake! Still amazes me. I am halfway through the healing process and eagerly looking forward to the completion of a permanent bridge along my entire lower jaw in just a couple more months. I feel extremely fortunate to have accidentally found these dentists. They radiate knowledge and confidence that can only put you at ease; I cannot overstate my highest recommendation.Pamela M.

Very pleasant experience with the hygienist, she is not only very thorough but gentle. Although this was a routine cleaning, Dr Miguel Estrella examined me and found 2 problems that could have caused big trouble. Then Dr. Jaime Estrella fix them. I think I had the best luck to find these hard working doctors who offered me a great plan. Extremely cheap compared to other doctors I’ve visited in San Diego. Very professional, very good techniques, and great quality! Wait for my next review after finishing my treatment. I’m very happy and excited for the final results. I’ve had 0 pain during my 11 implant surgery. I HIGHLY recommend. A little bit sore but overall great experience.
My mom is a new patient and started the implant process. She currently has the temporary implants. So far the staff has been very pleasant and the process so far has been a good experience. The pain level that she has experienced has been manageable to minimal. So far she is happy. She smiles a lot more than before. I’m excited to see the final results.

TruSmile Dental is really amazing. I hadn’t seen a dentist is 4-5 years. They created a dental plan and we got started the very next week. All of the staff from the receptionist, the hygienist, the assistants and the doctors are very nice. It’s a happy office.

My Mother had been researching for a good cosmetic dentist for months. We are so glad we came here. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. My experiences here at estrella dental has been excellent. I got my implants fixed dentures here it was an amazing experience. My surgery was very calm and painless. Doctor and assistant always made sure I was feeling okay through the surgery. They always made my upper dentures which they came out pretty good!
What is there not to like about this office!? The office is very clean and welcoming and the staff is so friendly and professional both in person and over the phone ALWAYS. They are on top of all clients and are great at following up on appointments and after any procedure you get done. Going to the dentist can be nerve racking, but the Dr. Estrellas are great at putting you at ease and making you comfortable throughout the entire process. I definitely recommend!!

I searched at least three offices that treat implant. I’m happy to say that I found the best place I’m looking for. The front office always great you with their beautiful smile and working hard, making sure you are okay before leaving the building. I work in a medical field and whenever I go and visit Dr. Office. Specially on my first visit I always looked for how they will treat you as Pt. and how they welcome you in their facility. Ive been a patient at Estrella dental for 9 months. Theyve given me invisalign treatment for my crooked teeth and I couldnt be happier with how everything has turned out! The staff are all so friendly and greet me by name as soon as I walk in the office. Everyone has a smile on and seem happy just to be there. The Estrella brothers are excellent dentists and really demonstrate the attitude of respect and education when it comes to their work. Ive recommended them to all my friends in the San Diego area. About 7 years ago, I moved to the Eastlake/Chula Vista area and I was in need of a dentist. I searched high and low to no avail until a co-worker told me about Estrella Dental and absolutely sang their praises, so I decided to set up an appointment and try them out... and boy am I glad I did. Fast forward to now and I can honestly say that Ive never had the experience or rapport with any other doctor in any other medical field like I do with the Estrella brothers and their staff. Walking in to their office into a welcoming and friendly environment already means you are starting off on the right foot. Their bed side manner, approachability and professionalism have far exceeded my expectations and I am proud to call myself a patient of theirs. Ive referred co-workers, friends and family to their practice and Im happy to report they remain just as wowed as me. I was serviced here for 9 years, so it’s unfortunate that I feel the need to take the time to write a one-star review and recommend to that no one go here.The staff really pushes dental work that is not entirely necessary. I assume this is to increase their profit as a business, although that is highly unethical for dentists to do. They’ve pressed me on whitening services and orthodontics (repeatedly telling me each visit that they have credit plans considering my student budget). Even more concerning, however, is the fact that they have recommended “cavity” fillings, which upon pressing them for answers, were not actually cavities. My sister had the same problem, where she was told that she had over 10 cavities, only to get a second opinion from another dentist office that she only had one cavity. I’ve spoken to past patients of Estrella who’ve experienced the same but with higher costs.The last straw was when they failed to tell me they stopped taking my insurance after I went in for x-rays. I showed up for an appointment and they told me I needed x-rays. I agreed, to which they said it would cost me $190. It never costed that amount before. When questioned on it later, they said they no longer accepted my insurance. One staff member lied and said that they told me they stopped taking my insurance, which did not happen at any point during or prior to my visit. Another staff member said that my insurance would reimburse the cost, which makes no sense if they stopped accepting my insurance. The lie, attempted cover ups, and generally questionable services make Estrella Dental a highly unethical office. This is especially unethical given the fact that they knew of my limited student budget, yet they feel it necessary to lie and attempt to cover their behavior to make a profit off me.To be fair, I had good service in the (distant) past and positive experiences with the head dentists. However, I’ve had negative experiences the past two years and will definitely not be attending anymore. In fact, my experiences have been so negative that I am actively telling people to avoid Estrella Dental. If either Dr. Estrella is reading this, I highly recommend that you ensure your staff is competent and ethical; they are neither and now it is affecting your business.Side note: it’s pretty suspect that most of these reviews are from accounts with only one review and have all been within the past month.
I have been very satisfied with Estrella Dental after switching to their practice two years ago. I am pleased with my dental work and the professionalism of all concerned. I certainly agree 100% with all other reviews that the entire staff exemplifies friendliness and caring.....I do recommend.
I highly recommend Estrella Dental Office. Having worked in the Dental field for many years, I was concerned about finding a new Dentist after mine retired. A dental hygenist recommended Estrella Dental. The staff is amazing. The Dentists really care about your keeping your teeth and Dental health in great condition. I had a crown done and the dental work was high-quality and pain free.
I got my 6 month cleaning check up with Brenda, and she was AMAZING. Very helpful with every questions I had. Recommended me a toothpaste to maintain any cavities from happening, which I’m so thankful someone told me about the help Neutramaxx does to ones mouth. EVERYONE NEEDS ONE. Doctor Antonio was also very professional and maintained everything very brief and simple. I more than HIGHLY recommend this office.
This office genuinely cares about every patient that walks into the office. I saw Kassie for my dental cleaning and she was thorough and very gentle. During the exam by the doctor, a cavity was diagnosed. I like how pictures are taken during my visit so I know what they are looking at. The filling was done by Dr Jaime with no pain at all. I was out the office with complete oral health.
Love Estrella Dental! They always make me feel very comfortable and informed. I visited other dentist in the area but the prices and quality of care were not great. Everyone is very friendly and I actually look forward to visiting the Dentist now!

After many months of walking past Dr. Estrella’s office on the way to taking my parents to their doctors office, I finally stopped in and made an appointment to see Dr Jaime. Best decision I’ve made in a long time. I was instantly sold on this office. The team members have become my friends and Dr Jamie is as patient and caring as they come. I never feel uncomfortable here and always look forward to my visits. If your looking for a new dental home, I would say this could be your place!
My trip to this dental office has always been amazing.The people here from the front desk to the dentists are always friendly and caring.The customer service they convey to people are absolutely above everyone’s expectations. I have learned over the years that oral health is the window to our overall health. Having said that, I continue to schedule frequent visits with my dentist to maintain my oral hygiene regimen. In the past, I have suffered trauma to my mouth, which has affected my bone density and structure. This trauma made it necessary to have bone grafting and dental implants. Besides normal hygiene, choosing a qualified dentist with maxillofacial experience can be challenging. I have finally found that dental practice at Estrella Dental. Doctors Miguel and Jaime Estrella are highly skilled in their profession and proactively develop a plan unique to your specific case in order to return your oral health to normalcy. I cannot say enough about these doctors’ professional acumen, compassion and dedication to their field. I would also be remiss if I did not mention the whole staff at Estrella Dental. The staff is superb and truly care about you as if you were one of their family members. I hope those reading this review will call Estrella Dental, you will be glad you did.

I cant say enough good things about Estrella Dental. This office is very friendly and they go to great lengths to accommodate your needs and insure your comfort. Ive been going to Estella Dental for several years now and unfortunately, I dont have the best teeth in the world. Im at the age where my teeth are beginning to break down and become a little more fragile. Last year, I had the misfortune on three separate occasions to break/crack 3 different teeth. The damage was bad enough to have the teeth pulled and implants put in place. The procedure was completely painless and didnt take long at all to do. Dr. Miguel is a true master at his craft. In all 3 cases, he had the tooth extracted and the bone graft done in less than an hour (and that included numbing time!). All the time he was working, he kept checking with me to make sure I was comfortable and updating me on what he was doing. After the 3rd one was done, I joked with him that he should just take all the teeth and do implants! Another important note which I feel is very important - they dont jump back and forth between patients. They work on and focus their attention on YOU!All the staff members are extremely nice and they do all they can do work with your schedule. They greet you by first name and you are called back right away. When I called with my cracked teeth, each time the first question was, are you in any pain?... luckily I wasnt. They were able to get me in right away or first thing the next morning (one tooth broke right before 5:00).If you are looking for a dental office that has your comfort and needs as a priority, this is definitely the place you want to go. Drs. Miguel, Jaime and Antonio are there to make sure you are taken care of. These guys will be my dentists for a long time to come. You wont regret it.
Had long term restorative dental work done at a different dental office. Came home and had immediate failure within a week. At Dr. Estrellas clinic they gave me an immediate remedy and financing. I walked out the door with a bright smile, happy fix and a long term plan that I was totally satisfied with.
From the moment you walk in the door you feel welcome, I had a double implant surgery in october and it went flawlessly. The doctor made sure that i was never in any pain and made what would normally be a stressful process feel like it was nothing. Up until a year ago; I’ve dreaded going to a dentist. Not now. Not with Estrella Dental Offices. They’re different. Why? I am 65 years old and have had many dentists in my lifetime so far, I did my research before I chose Estrella dental and it’s probably been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made..from day one everyone has been so very friendly and everyone treats you like family.. it’s like we’ve know each other forever... my surgery went so smooth with no problems and if I thought something wasn’t right, I would call and they bring you in the same day to check it out, I’m in phase two of my implants and so far so good... If you’re doing research for implants, this is definitely the place to go...

I checked pricing in TJ before coming to Dr. Estrella. Dr. Estrella is about 3x more expensive but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. This is a premium price for premium service and I didnt want to trust a life-long tooth implant to anyone I didnt believe would take great care of my dental needs.

2022-06-10Dr. Jaimie was a gem to find. He ensured I knew the details of the procedure and was able to accommodate my “time crunch” as I was moving out of state. His staff was very professional and made you feel comfortable right from when you enter the office, while you’re seated at the dentist chair, to when you leave. Everyone of the staff knew your name. I am retired and on a tight budget and their finance office worked the payment arrangements to something I was comfortable with. I had a full lower mouth implant and will be coming back to see Dr. Jaimie for my upper in a year. Oh, and, by the way, Dr. Jaimie’s brother did the oral surgery and I did not experience any pain or discomfort during the procedure. I did not want to be put under so I was awake the entire time. And Tonya was my “personal” dental assistant and she was gentle and pampering at the same time at each of my visits.

2022-07-23Since the moment I walked in these doors I knew I was in the right place. Everyone here has been so amazing! I feel so grateful to have the experience I did. My only regret is not doing it sooner. I’ve had zero discomfort or pain the entire healing process. My immediate results are amazing and I can’t wait to see my final will be! 2022-05-10I went to 2-3 different dental places to get dental implants but when I met the team at Tru smile that was it for me the people there are awesome, professional compassionate. I’ve always been scared to death of dentist but they put me at ease right away letting me know exactly what was going to be done. Today I got my final permanent implants and couldn’t be happier, they look so real so good I can smile again. All the ladies who work there are the very best really the very best so kind friendly caring I could go on and on really. I highly recommend the Drs there amazing just amazing experience truly happy with my results. Thank you Tru smile I just wanted to add or clarify just how awesome everyone is there. Professional kind non judgmental I’ve been scared so very scared all my life of dentist which is what caused many dental problems. But at Trusmile I didn’t for a minute feel judged everyone is so so kind. They gave me my confidence back. I’m so grateful to everyone there. I highly recommend going there.

2022-05-18Impeccable to there wordTru smile was the 3rd and last stop , there was a true authenticity to helping me out . I had full upper and lower implants done . The surgery was pain less , Both Dr Jamie and Miguel are outstanding , along with there wonderful staff and Sophia there kind , Gentle , smart and on time assistant . It’s a great team that listens and cares . I’ve gone on to refer 2 of my Friends to them .which are now clients. Dr told me we will not go to the final set until I was happy with the color, shape and size.once again impeccable to there word . Thank you team Tru Smile!!

2022-04-26Being a Type 2 Diabetic who was undiagnosed for 3 to 4 years, I found my teeth were decaying from inside out due to high blood sugar. We tried to save what we could, but after one of my front teeth broke off, I had to do something. After much research, I settled on TruSmile, and I couldnt be happier with my choice. Efficient and professional staff, and even after having the rest of my teeth removed, there was no pain, just a little soreness. Overall, very happy with TruSmile!

2022-06-13If i had to say i had a great time it was here !!! I had all my teeth removed and implants done 2 days before Thanksgiving and was eating turkey on Thanksgiving!! Im really impressed with how they treat their customers..i highly recommend tru smile

The staff is the happiest and outgoing group of people I’ve ever encountered.Dr. Jaime Estrella, DDS, and his brother Dr. Miguel Estrella, DDS, are the best dentist that I have ever worked with in my over 65 years.The staff are friendly, outgoing, and genuinely care about the patients. Dental assistants Tanya and Sophia take extra time to make me feel comfortable, relaxed, completely at ease. These to exceptional ladies are better than any of the dental assistants that I encountered in my twenty-years in the U.S. Navy. Sophia and Tanya are the BEST!!!!
