Absolutely terrible. I am done with this company.Booked for my disabled mother and grandmother, the Anaheim location was the only location that has a two queen bed and roll in shower, and was suppose to have a wheelchair accessible pool. The front desk agent said it was broken, which was heartbreaking it meant that that they couldn’t enjoy the pool and would be stuck in the room.We were also overcharged, we were suppose to get the AAA discount and it wasn’t applied.Front desk agent refused to get a manager or supervisor involved, they will be in 3 days and then pretty much told us to go find a different hotel and we did.Customer help desk was absolutely useless and won’t do any for a week, and even that’s not guaranteed
Positive: It was clean and walking distance to Disneyland Negative: The light outside our room kept me up all night. The sheer curtains closed all the way but the heavy curtains were only set up to close 1/4 way on one side and 1/4 way on the other side. There was no possible way of closing the black out curtains.
Parking was great, room was clean. And the location was just what we were looking for but the Room was out dated, had a full inch gap of sunshine coming out from under the door. Housekeeping by appointment only. No front desk staff for hours during the day. Pillows were so old and we literally went to the store and purchased our own. Beds had divots.
Cant recommend this hotel. the top floor is falling apart literally tilted toThe right. Very limited parking could not even find a handicapped slot. Breakfast was served in a elevator was very dirtyThey are doing some. Construction so we woke up to pipes bing dropped over and over. Plus the gigantic pile of trash mattress and pictures we had a great view of.
I really hate to bash on hotels, but I’m just letting others know. The beds were super uncomfortable, pillows were so uncomfortable to sleep on, AC unit didn’t stay on no matter what we tried (it had an auto, low and high setting, we kept it on low but it hardly turned on at all) we had someone blaring their car horn outside our door at 12AM because they were fighting with their boyfriend or something. Bathroom and shower were okay, the bath mat was kinda gross, also the TV channels were all like Korean/Asian shows lol.It was like a 5 min drive away from Disneyland which is why I gave it 3 stars. Also don’t know if there were bed bugs, but I woke up with small little red bumps on my stomach and they kinda itch? My bad for not checking in the first place. Could also be because of the air change from Montana to California. The rooms didn’t look bad at all, im sure they renovated the rooms at some point, but I wish they had better beds and pillows, woke up so exhausted like we didn’t get any sleep :(
Positive: The inside was nicer than expected. We were very satisfied with our stay. Negative: Did not like that we couldnt check in sooner then 3 pm. If there is rooms ready why make a customer wait till 2-3pm to check in doesnt make since. Overall that was the only problem we had.
Positive: The crappy breakfast - Bottled water and bread. Negative: Our $100 security deposit was not returned for supposedly smoking in the room. They did not tell us or ask us about the smell eventhough they detected it after we requested our room to be cleaned? Called to discuss several times but manager unavailable?
Positive: This Travelodge is about a 15 minute walk from Downtown Disney and about 20 minute walk from both park entrances. It was a great value and a great staff. Negative: The breakfast was non existent at this time. They stated there would be a grab and go option in March. Also the internet was very spotty.
Basic lodgings at a fair price. Room was clean, everything worked, staff was great, however, water pressure in the shower is almost non-existent and beware bare minimum amenities due to COVID, no early check-in means No early check-ins. These pictures are of Disneyland fireworks, which were fun for me but very loud.
Positive: Hot tub Negative: Black mold in bathroom Allergic to something in the room. Contested every night we slept in there. The blankets had burn holes in them. The breakfast was a total joke. A Danish and a granola bar. This shouldnt be allowed to be called breakfast.
Positive: The new decor in the room and the amenities. Negative: The TV system needs to be scrapped and redone. It was pixelated on all channels. At the end of our stay, we found the wall connection loose. We tighten it which made it a little better. Still had reception troubles.
Room was spacious but not 100% clean. Toilet was not clean towards the bottom floor and found a few head hairs on the toilet seat and sink. The water from the sink stunk. Underneath the bed sheets found an empty clear medicine cap left from previous stay and 1/2 opened candy box behind the bed. No breakfast and check in/out is through a window, no lobby avaliable.
This was an okay hotel. You certainly get what you pay for. The beds seemed smaller than normal queen-sized beds. The A/C didnt work great and not all of the listed amenities were actually available. We also found ants in the room, though thats probably partially our fault for keeping food out. We didnt hate it here, but if youre going to be in the hotel for any length of time, Id suggest paying extra for something a little nicer.
Positive: Room was a good size and it was close to the bus stops to Disney so we didn¿t have to walk too far. The room was pretty clean upon arrival. I will def stay here again. Negative: The best aren¿t the most comfy but they weren¿t awful. Very limited to channels and they weren¿t offering room cleaning unless requested.
Positive: The pool was nice, and the area was clean. The proximity to Disney was a short Uber ride away. The fireworks over head were the best thing I can say about this hotel. Plenty of towels were given when asked for. Staff was helpful. Check in & out was fast Negative: The room was filthy & stinky. Splatters of I don¿t even want to know on the walls. The carpet turned our feet black, keep flip flops on at all times. We took the bedding off the bed and just used sheets. There are no tables or ice buckets. No food.
Nice location. About a 20 minute walk to Downtown Disney. Great view of the fireworks. Rooms look nice but are dirty. The floors are disgusting and turn your feet black. If you have small kids that crawl definitely wouldn’t recommend. Website shows they provide breakfast and have a crib/packnplay you can rent. Call ahead of time. Sadly they didn’t have either when we stayed.
It was quiet but had a horrible smell of hotel, first of all. There was no breakfast and no coffee maker. I would not recommend to anyone. My kids did not feel comfortable showering because the shower curtain was old and dirty. My stay was not cheap enough to feel like I was at a 1 star hotel. The people at the front door were not very welcoming either. Please get rid of that nasty smell in that room.
Im giving this place a three star just because it was really close to Disneyland. The mattress was not comfortable at all. The carpet needs to get professionally cleaned! We walked around with socks and got dirty really quick...gross. The bath tub had a dirt rim around it and the matt was old and broken. Luckily we didnt spend much time in the room. The Check in procedure was also annoying. I mean the office should be open by now. Really small and low window to check in.. outside...😵 not the best place to stay.
The beds were very uncomfortable. Pillows were terrible . Room smelled like bleach when we entered and had to air it out for an hour. A/c unit smelled like mildew when on. Shower mat was disgusting. Walls were dirty. Crumbs left on top of bedding. Wifi was so bad we went outside to get cell service.
Great place!! First review I have ever written. Read reviews before booking. I was skeptical about booking at this Travelodge because of reviews. Room was very clean! Updated decor, 5 minute drive to Disneyland, everything I asked for was immediately taken care of by the staff. Very quiet and safe. Definitely recommend!
Positive: hotel was nice, pool was nice, distance from back parking lot of disney land was really good. Negative: Would have been better to stay in the other travel lodge in front of Disneyland, not worry about Disneys parking lot. it would be easier to leave car at hotel and walk across to Disneyland.
Positive: Room was well arranged and the beds were comfortable. Room was quiet. There was a a decent size refrigerator and a microwave in the room. Negative: Out of six pillows, only one was soft and usable¿ Good thing one of us brings our own. Reservation specifically stated coffee maker, none was in the room. No cups or ice bucket either.
Stayed with my friend between our 2 days of Disney because its so close to the parks.Check in was pretty smooth and the unit looks gorgeous. Unfortunately everything made weird noises - the pipes and the fridge were screaming all night and my top comforter had blood stains on it. You really get what you pay forTechnically it is within walking distance? - but Disney has the straight forward access route blocked off unfortunately. So about 1.5 mile walk to Downtown Disney.
The guy at the front desk was helpful and kind from the get go. The room was nice exceeded my expectations. The room had little things that werent perfect but what do you expect with the amount of people coming and going. We went to Disneyland the day of check out and with communication was able to stay parked at the hotel. Definitely would stay again.
Positive: The hotel was a lot nicer than expected. Plenty of parking on a third night. Room was very large. Very clean. Would recommend this for a family. Had 2 queen beds, pullout couch, and very spacious room. Free parking. I will be staying here again. Negative: Every was great. Better than expected
Positive: When a stranger was banging on the room door late in the night and wouldnt leave, the staff intervened and dealt with the problem for us. Very quickly. 10/10 Negative: Our room was never cleaned during our stay. The trash was never taken out, the towels never replaced, and the beds never made. To make it short, the maid/maintenance staff never entered our room during our 4 night stay.
Our advice to everyone, forget about it!! And here is why. To check in there is no front desk. You check in outside though a what resembles a movie theater window and microphone. The breakfast area is closed so no free breakfast. We were in room 203. No hot water just warm and you have to wait for it. The shower curtain rod was broken and you had to make sure the water didnt run out onto the floor. Mold on the bathroom baseboard from the shower water. There were ants in the bathroom. No coffee maker unless you ask for one. There were only 2 plugs one in the bathroom and one by the door which was so worn-out a plug would hardly stay in. One little thing was no TV guide so you have to fumble through the channels. We did mention the ants but the office person didnt seem to care. That should be enough to say dont even think about it.
Room was clean and cute. Theres glow in the dark paint on the ceiling which is cool. Staff was pretty unfriendly and down right rude. When i called last month i was told the pool would be able to be used...that was a lie. There wasnt enough parking and the alarm clock/radio was on the fritz.
I stayed here for 2days. Its been about 3 weeks. However, it is still not returning the security deposit. Also, the web site said that breakfast was provided, but that didnt comeOut either. They did not even clean the room, and they gave me towelsFor just one day. So I went to get a towel. We traveled for a few days out of state and experienced the most discomfortHere.
I love this hotel. It’s walking distance to the Disneyland resort. Offers great breakfast. Safe area. Renovated rooms. The staff is always super nice and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel. I’ve stayed here so far 5 times and plan to continue to stay here when visiting!
Im going for a 2.5 star rating.. The location is great and very convient for ubering to Disney. The front desk were nice and easy to check in the hotel room was sort of okay the bed sheets had holes and a few stains on them which was disgusting and then only to realize when I went into the bathroom they had ants crawling over the shower bathroom floor and toilet.. The price was great but next time will definitely pay more for a better hotel.
The only thing I think that needs changed are the pillows. They’re very uncomfortable and too high! Which is a bummer because the bed and galaxy lighting is so nice to fall asleep to. Also, they don’t keep blow dryers in the room. You have to walk to the front to get them.
One star...well deserved. Poor wifi, an undisclosed $100 deposit, and a horrible, unfriendly check in progress. Parking is extremely limited with many orange cones and yellow tape sectioning portions with no evidence of construction or any good purpose. The value is not worth the price to sum it up. I got here on a deal from priceline but I was much happier with Quality Inn in Anaheim (not the one close to here). The rooms are spacious, but the bathroom is small. They have a limiter on heat for the tub (probably to protect children; have they heard of a thing called parents?) To sum it up, if I had to pay full price to stay here, I would be very upset. The rooms have microwave and a mini fridge too (most of these motel/hotels have them). If you dont care about wifi, good cable, and dont take hot baths or showers: this place might be for you. Serious traffic noise too. I hope never to return.
No breakfast, have to request trash or other services that there supposed to do while your out and about, my sisters room microwave and TV were broken when we entered, also internet in the area is kinda badOn a positive note, quite area, nice pool and hot tub, comfortable beds, lots of space, good size mini fridge
Positive: Location is pretty great. Negative: The concierge at check in was not present because he was out back vaping behind the office. As soon as we checked in he left again to go vape. He did not inform me of the parking voucher that i needed to put in my windshield or about glowing ceiling
Clean but highly disappointed with the extreme lack of amenities. No breakfast. No disposable cups for even water! Rude front desk.I will comment that the attendant offered a ground floor room when I asked for elevator access to the third floor room. He switched locations. This trip was for business and the internet was non op for our three day stay.Shower pressure was so low that I was tempted to skip... but since not an option, showing took 3 times as long. Ridiculous.Sad. I had assumed that we were checking into a reputable location. Disappointed by far.
Stayed here one night, and the one night was enough. The equipment of the hotel (ie. Front desk, elevator, stairs) were all ghetto, the layout of the place was awful!! (Specifically the parking situation). Upon arrival, we were told that our water had to be shut off later that night and as a result we all had to rush to get in the shower before it was too late! (The water was cold for us btw).Final opinion:Functionally speaking this place will get the job doneGenerally speaking: its not a good pick for a longer term stay (longer than maybe 2 nights). If debating between this place and elsewhere, better options are likely out there.
If I can rate this hotel a zero I would. Carlos the front desk person started to yell at me. At first I had just couldnt hear him because there was a motorcycle on and he came outside and told me screaming I NEED YOUR ID AND CREDIT CARD hurry I HAVE OTHER GUEST TO HELP. From the start he was being very rude there had been an incident with people pepper-spraying each other and he didnt seem to care. I had asked if I could cancel my stay due to me feeling unsafe and he got super mad and I had to start recording because it was just unbelievable. I had just asked to cancel my stay that was all a simple question. I work in customer service and If I would have done that to a customer I would have been fired. I will try to contact their higher-ups my father in law had to witness as well as the other customers as well embarrassing experience and never again
This hotel is so far my favorite when it comes to by Disneyland for a good price. The rooms have everything you need and its very private. No one bugs you here which I like. I personally dont like it when the staff gets involved in your personal life and the maids come want to come in more than 2X a day.
Positive: That we can park our car before checking inEnable to go to Disneyland Negative: Yes a few things I did not like about this hotel first of all the room was dirty the carpet were disgusting stain the linen was stain as well did not have shampoo or conditioner soap left for me to use and there was no hot water to shower no hair dryer
This is going to be a long review but PLEASE read before booking.Just a little background story to my trip. I planned a California vacation focused around Disneyland for 20 people. Ranging from 18 mo to 67 yrs. If we hadnt prepaid for 5 rooms per night for 7 nights, I would have loaded everyone up and found a good neighbor hotel to stay at.Walk: This hotel is a 25-30 min walk to and from the entrance of Disneyland. Yes there is a tram on the walk which shaves about 5 minutes off the walk. There are much better hotels in a closer walking distance to the park. If you plan to get to the park early or stay late, take this walk into consideration.Breakfast: This hotel is one of the few hotels around the Disneyland park that offers continental breakfast. It is NOT worth it. The breakfast is compromised of straight carbs and no protein. They offer toast, bagels, cereal and waffle.Towels: They dont have pool towels available for pool use. But, they brought us pool towels for in-room use. Even smaller than the regular towels. This is a small inconvenience but adds to the total review of this hotel.Ice Machine: If you are on the second floor you are out of luck for ice. Only the 3rd floor ice machine works.Dirty Sheets: Upon check-in one of the 5 rooms had dirty sheets towards the top of the sheets. We didnt call and complain, but we should have. We removed that layer of bedding instead. There is also no comforters on the beds, just sheets.Room cleaning: We placed our do not disturb cards out for the first two days. When we placed them in our rooms, it took three days for them to come in and clean/restock the rooms.Cockroaches: On the second to last night we found a large cockroach in one of the rooms. We took it down to the front desk and they told us it was a Water bug and not to worry about it. The front desk was not sympathetic nor did they offer any assistance. I requested that the manager call me the next day when he got in. (The manager only works 9:30a-4:30p.) The manager did in fact call me the next day. He did not care either. He offered 30% off one room for one night, which intern would equal to $30-35. He ended up offering a refund on one room for one night.Bed bugs: On the last night of our reservation I overheard someone complaining about bed bugs. I did not personally see them but I am going to post what was overheard. Very alarming.I will never stay here again. There is plenty of reasonably priced hotels in this area. I am a frequent traveler and will not stay in a Travelodge or Wyndham hotel again.
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. They were undergoing a renovation of the lobby, so quarters were a little tight for check-in but the staff were friendly. Unfortunately the breakfast was sadly lacking. We stayed for 3 days and there was no fruit, ran out of pastries and only waffles, toast and two cereal options. Would like to see some healthier options like fruit, oatmeal, eggs, etc.
Great place to get some rest after being at Disney 2 whole days! Room was clean- beds, bathroom, shower. Plenty of towels. Great breakfast options- waffles, bagels, fruit. Across the street from disney for the price its great. You can see the fireworks. I have stayed here 2 years in a row when visiting disneyland and will continue to stay here.
Weve stayed here over 30 times for our Disneyland trips and it has gone to, i cant even say 😔 we came today front desk man rude!! Room was remodeled so that was pleasant (hence the 2 stars) outside there is people outside smoking weed and different people on the other side fixing bikes ???? I will never EVER stay here again this new ownership is not worth a dime!!
The rooms were very nice and deserve a 4 star review in addition to the the accommodating staff for giving extra blankets and helping with pool access. I give it 3 stars because more effort can be made for breakfast. We inquired as to the options and if healthier options like eggs, oatmeal, yogurt, etc could be provided but the staff seemed to care less about the matter. Every morning was cereal, bagels, and waffles. One of our 3 mornings had fruit.I would recommend this as a stay but not to depend on breakfast being worth it.
Good value considering you save on Disney parking or the ART bus by being within a 15 minute walk distance from the park. The property was under renovation during the visit with a large dumpster and the main office closed during our trip. The room was clean however the floor needed mopping. Some of the towels were either used containing prior tenant hair or poorly washed.
Clean, safe, newly renovated rooms on 1st floor. After shopping around, I got a remarkably low weekend rate on Priceline due to pandemic (pool closed, Disney closed, etc). Only a 22 min drive to Newport Beach/Costa Mesa. Basic accommodations. Fridge & microwave. Once Disneyland reopens, this location is close and affordable. it worked well for our group.
We stayed here while we spent the week at Disneyland. The location to the park is great, rooms were spacious and comfortably fit our family of 2 adults, 2 kids and an infant in a pack and play. Beds and pillows were not very comfortable and the breakfast left much to be desired. The pool and hot tub were clean and good temperatures and the Disney fireworks could be easily viewed from the balcony. We would stay here again, especially for the price.
We stayed here about two weeks ago for 2 nights. We loved it. It was clean and the staff was friendly. We only were there to sleep as we were at Disneyland for most of the day. When we checked in the front desk was wonderful, they were all smiles and very nice to work with. Later on that same day we had a couple questions about the spa rules and the guy working I dont know if he was a manager but he took care of the issue right away. The breakfast was perfect. The room was great. The only thing I would recommend is the rooms need more lighting in the Bathroom and over the sink. Being that I work at a hotel that is a big plus. The beds felt like I was sleeping in my own bed. We will be staying here from now on. So that means we will be there every 3 months for our Disneyland trips.
I found the staff to helpful and friendly, and if rating just in their service this would be a 5 star review. However, the breakfast is garbage. We were there five days and every day was the same. The eggs were definitely not fresh, and neither was the fruit they had.The room was spacious and accommodation to my family of 2 adults, 3 children, and one infant, but the door didnt seal leaving a quarter inch gap all along the bottom and latching side. This meant you heard EVERYTHING outside your room at all hours, AND the room would get crazy bright super early (we were East facing). We ended up putting towels under the door to block the light and sound what we could. Its super close to Disney and we were happy to walk to and from the park every day, and it was nice that the parking was free. All said and done it was okay, but we will never stay there again.
I will preface this by saying that the hotel was under construction when we stayed.First of all, when we entered the room it smelled. It looked renovated, but that was all.I first noticed that the beds were a mess. Bedding was wrinkled and bed skirts were all over the place. This seems petty, but I knew that meant little care was taken in the cleanliness of the room right from the start. I wasn’t wrong.- The shower had hair in it. When we pulled the sheets back, there were literal dirt marks on them.- The towel hanging on the rack was covered in black stains. ALL the towels felt like sand paper.- The cable tv did not work.- The walk to the parks is long (30ish minutes counting waiting at stop lights) and uphill at different points. Some reviews mention a tram... we weren’t told anything about a tram nor did we see a tram that we could use on our hikes to the park. There is no shuttle. Trying to push to little kids to the park... we would’ve taken advantage of any shuttle had we known!- We didn’t even try the continental breakfast. We ate at one of the restaurants on the way to the park because we knew the breakfast was not going to be enough.-The second day, our toilet was broken. Just wouldn’t flush at all. Came back that night, still broken. Managed to fix it ourselves as it was late after a day at the park and there are obviously no other bathrooms to use.-Vending machine was out of water and was tricky to use.-FIREWORKS. Where we stayed (at the back of the left side) the fireworks sound like actual bombs going off. It’s extremely loud. Our kids are heavy sleepers, but the fireworks woke them up.We have stayed at many hotels, and this one has been the WORST. Made our trip a headache. Seriously, if you’re vacationing with kids stay at a closer, nicer hotel.
We could not have picked a better hotel for our recent stay. First, the staff here is super friendly, courteous and very helpful. The rooms are clean and spacious. The grounds are well maintained. Continental breakfast is served daily and was always ready by the 6:30am start time. Your proximity to Disneyland is a 5 minute walk - NO JOKE!! - yet it is quiet with the exception of the 15 minutes each evening when you get to view the fireworks from your room!! I cant say enough about this facility. We will certainly choose this location when we return to Disneyland next time! Thanks for a truly magical stay!!
We stayed here for 2 nights in December 2018, planning to use it only for a place to sleep in between visiting the parks. The price was an absolute bargain, the room was larger than I was expecting and was clean. There were 2 double beds, a bathroom with a toilet and bath/shower and a separate area just outside this with a sink and large mirror. Large TV in the room along with a balcony outside. We went down for breakfast at 8.15am on the first day and 7am on the second, both times there was more than enough food available and it was quite tasty. The walk to the park was a little longer than I was expecting (mainly because you have to wait for so long to cross the roads!) but it was well lit and there were others using the path too. You can jump on the tram from the parking lot too, which was about 10 minutes walk away. The fireworks from the park were clearly visible from our balcony, in fact I think I got a better view than I did from watching them in the park! All in all it was a great stay, it was exactly what I expected from a value hotel and if I were to go back Id definitely stay there again.
Great hotel, great staff, great location and great breakfast.. Our room had 3 queen size beds. The kids had a blast not to mention the Disney fireworks every night that can be viewed from the balcony.. We will be staying here again next year without a doubt. Thank you Travelodge for making this stay more than we could have asked for!
Exceptional rooms, nice aura and a good place to stay with children. I recommend it The rooms are nice and big and clean The TVs big enough to see anywhere in the room and the bathroom was a decent size. its a place you wont regret staying if you choose it but more glad you did!
This room has been clean and orderly, right nearby a convenient store. We can stop by to buy whatever we need and fuel is available right on hand as well. It is 0.6 miles from downtown Disney, and we walk quite easily every morning. The house maids are quick and the staff is extremely courteous! We will easily come back to this room the next time we visit Disneyland.
We stayed here for a first family Disneyland trip. The good:-Free Breakfast - fill up on cereal, bagels, milk, juice, coffee, fruit, pastries, make your own waffles.-Updated Rooms - lots of pillows, cool blacklight stars in sky on the ceiling, mini fridge, kitchenette (microwave, coffee maker).-Gas station/Corner store - just next door, convenient for snacks, bottled water, sunscreen, etc.-Disneyland Fireworks - got a great balcony view of the fire works at 9:30pm Saturday night.-15 min walk to a Disneyland Tram - but we never found the Trams even though the hotel has clear instructions on where they are. We entered Downtown Disney everyday through the Disney security gates (bag check - open all the zippers on your bags, go through a metal detector) and took the Monorail to get into the Disneyland Park (enter via Tomorrow land) - even sat the very front one day (what a view!).-15 min walk to Downtown Disney - just to shop and eat, live music.-Hot tub and Pool - make use of it after a 8 hours of walking in Disneyland. Relax your legs and feet in that hot tub.The bad:-The sink had a bad sewage smell-No conditioner in your toiletries freebies.-TV - no cableBathroom could use an extra towel rack.Overall good place to stay for a Disneyland experience.
I prefer if your low class then you might want to consider this hotel. The hotel rooms were the right size for a big family but the hotel beds were horrible me and my family rather sleep on dirt then this but the maids were nice. The bed sheets had stains and were not washed but only every other day. The bathroom was gross and small. The shower felt like you werent clean. The pool was nice it was cleaned every other day in the morning but not open on the right time. The breakfast was very good overall that was the best part. And if your visiting LA Disneyland then that was the best place to book because it only took about 5-10 minutes to walk to the tram. There was a gas station right next to the hotel. Overall the beds were the worst part I had sleep with a showering towel because the sheets felt dirty and made you itch. The best part was the waffle maker and free ice machine.
Came here with my family for the most obvious reason DISNEYLAND!!! It has already been a positive experience the first night. The staff was kind. Our room is super clean. Bathroom well stocked up with towels. We have room to put clothes away and hang our jackets. We are super excited for the upcoming days of adventure and happy to experience it peacefully with a great view of fireworks in this hotel. I encourage people who want a view of fireworks and good parking I say come to this place. Prices are very reasonable 😊
I was very early to check in but a room was available so I was able to leave my suitcase while I went to Disneyland. The street noise in my area was pretty loud, other rooms on 2nd floor had a glass door in hallway but not sure that helped much. I had a maintenance issue which was taken care of promptly and free breakfast of waffles, cereal, and fruit was nice as well as free parking.
Hotel was dated and in need of a remodel. The room I stayed in had a bathtub with tile that desperately needed to be torn out. Convenient breakfast but very basic. Staff was nice and the location was extremely convenient for Disneyland. The free parking was a nice plus. I stayed for work purposes so the price and convenience is why it got 3 stars. And it was fairly clean.
Had a really good experience staying at this Travelodge. Probably the nicest Travelodge Ive ever stayed at overall. The check in staff were very friendly. The rooms were well furnished with a refrigerator and a microwave. One neat little feature the room had was black light that when left on would bring out these glow in the dark which was really cool. The location is very convenient for getting to both of the Disney parks. Plan on staying here again the next time I come down.
My wife booked this room for me to stay in while I was in Anaheim for business. She wanted to stay here when we come later In the year to Disneyland and wants to make sure the pictures match the room. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and promptly checked me in with no issues. I proceeded to go to my room the place looks very clean from the outside. Well maintained plants and trees around the property. I entered my room and the first thing I noticed it smelled fresh and clean. The beds looked very clean and comfortable. I checked the room for any flaws and could not find any . The bathroom was really nice and well maintained. The place is quiet and cozy. I called my wife right away to tell her my results on the room and told her she did a great job for the price. The next morning I was excited to try the complimentary breakfast . It had the basic stuff. The eggs were ok. The waffles you get to make yourself . They were good. I give the breakfast a 6 out of 10. Everything was clean in the buffet area. I will definitely recommend for us to stay here again.
The location is about a mile and a half walking distance to Disneyland. We were disappointed that there was no shuttle from the hotel to Disneyland. The room was basic but large and comfortable. There was a TV, microwave and fridge. There was also a black light that we could turn on and it would illuminate stars on the ceiling. The staff was extremely helpful.
Our room was wonderful and staff were great the weekend we spent in Anaheim last month. The location is not on the convenient side of the Disney parks, but its a $5 uber and the amount we saved on our 2 queen bed and one pull out sofa bed room was worth it! Beds were semi-comfy. Pull-out was even kind of comfy. We were all mostly too excited to get much sleep anyhow. Nice TV in the room, but the mini fridge was leaking water. A/C worked great and thats good because it was hot that weekend! Theres a nice pool/hot tub but we returned to the room too late to use it every night. Too bad they dont have a later curfew for all the families who walked for 12+ hours around the park!
Really decent room! Was quite and couldnt hear the other guests. The decor was really cute and the room had a nice surprise when you turned off the lights. The breakfast was super basic with just cereal, bagels, toast and waffles, was slightly let down. Was hoping for eggs but then again I dont stay at hotels often enough to compare this to others breakfast. The only negative is that I asked the staff on 3 different occasions until what time I could leave my car parked at the hotel and I got 3 different answers.
This Travelodge is amazing... The staff is customer service friendly... Then staff will go over & beyond to make your stay feel as at home as completely possible... Theres gas and food in walking distance... Plus if your headed to the most magical place on earth its like your rite next door... You could even make a walk of it... Its that close...
This hotel is not in walking distance of Disneyland like it claims, that is the reason I booked it so that was pretty frustrating. You have to walk along a busy highway for 15 minutes to catch a tram to Disneyland. There used to be a entrance close by, but its closed now. I still gave 3 stars because other than that, it is good for the price. It was clean, shower was good, and staff was friendly.
This is a nice hotel to book if you are looking for a bargain hotel near Disneyland. My room was clean and boasted modern furniture, equipment, and decor. However, I was EXTREMELY disappointed with the lack of television programming that was available (most basic cable and satellite channels were not included and TVs featured an unnecessary abundance of foreign language channels) to customers. Also, the hotel in my opinion is not really within walking distance of Disneyland Resort and leaves much to be desired in terms of hospitality (front desk staff were not really friendly and welcoming) and breakfast options (eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausages, etc. would have been nice to offer to customers). For these reasons, I will not be coming back to stay at this hotel. However, if you don’t mind the extra distance from Disneyland (I’m used to staying in hotels directly across the street from the park), lack of television programming, hospitality, and breakfast options, then this may be the hotel for you.
My wife and I arrived for late check-in. Check-in was easy and the night employee was helpful and informative. Getting into the room you can tell that updates had been done to the hotel but the rooms still have a rustic vibe... Think 1970s with a fresh coat of paint. For the price you cant go wrong. Rooms are clean enough, theres a pool, towels, soap and ice machines readily available... Cost/value ratio is great considering the close proximity to Disneyland.
Staff is awesome! You can see fireworks from certain parts of the hotel. Also, if you stay one night your parking is good until midnight the day you leave so you can go walk to Disney and save $18 on parking! Rooms were clean, a little mold in the bathroom, but for price, location, and staff I would stay again! Do not stay in super 8 next door! Horrible management!!!!
UPDATE:We just stayed again, and we were able to check in super early! The front desk staff is very accommodating! We are going camping for a couple days, and asked about prices cir another 5 day stay, the prices had gone way up, due to occupancy level, and the gave us a discounted price! This is our favorite hotel! I is also the cleanest!
We were put in room 238, which was located inside a hallway that was not lit very well, and seemed a little scary because we were going to stay until Disneyland closed which was at midnight. The rooms where very clean, the beds were clean and comfy, they had very nice flat screen tvs, and the star light view was very cool. At night when its dark you turn on the black light that the room has, and the ceiling of the room lights up with stars which was very nice! Over all, this is a great hotel to stay at, the rooms are clean, the staff is friendly, and the complimentary breakfast was very good. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Good for the price. Nice calm place. Rooms smell muggy but after being there for a while you get used to it. The lighting is very dim. Couch bed was not at all comfortable. Mid-night my boys decided to sleep on the floor. Shower was clean but tiles not deep clean. I was not too comfortable walking without shoes. Overall stay was great. Price was awsome. Room needs a bit more work but it looks like they were remodeling during our visit.
The walls in our bathroom were so dirty it was disgusting! Like poop above the toilet paper dispenser, and food and other things all along the wall above the trash bin. The bathroom door had finger prints all over it.When we got into our room right away my husband used the restroom (just a #1) and our toilet didnt work. He tried to fix it but it needed plunged. We called the front desk and they were rude. They acted like it was our fault. The customer service is poor! They dont tell you anything about the theme parks, or transportation , or any helpful tips.Breakfast has zero protein. One perk, is its very close to Disneyland so you can walk there. We enjoyed that. You get what you pay for.
Very clean room. The parking can be a hassle later in the night if you go out. Would suggest parking early and possibly walk or find other means of transportation to Disneyland. Also TV channels are foreign from when I looked for a channel. Overall, great location if you are headed to Disneyland. Also pool was a plus.
Ive had good experiences with this hotel every time we have stayed there. The staff is nice, the rooms are spacious, No parking fees, and free breakfast. I am giving it 3 stars because they advertised transportation, but they dont have that. It is a longer walk to the parks than we like. Not terrible but hard when you have little ones. And the showers arent the greatest. But we do like staying here if the price is right!
Great cheap accommodation, room was simple and very clean.Fitted out with two double beds with clean sheets, and 55 television, and theres a nice swimming pool area that includes some chairs and spa / hot tub.Shop / service station right next door so you can buy food dinner and snacks.
Checked in for 2 nights while my husband and I went to Disneyland.Positives: (not many)The one staff member I interacted with was niceFree guest parkingLocation is convenient to walk to the parkNegatives:They had trouble finding our reservation when we checked inThe room smelled very mustyThe fireworks from the park (at 9:30) were EXTREMELY loud - louder than they even are at the parkWe could not get the temperature in the shower to work properly. It was scalding hot. We tried for over 10 minutes in every direction and could not get it to work at a moderate temperature. Terribly frustrating after a long day.The breakfast left much to be desiredOverall it fit our needs but I would not recommend and will not be staying here again.
Theyre trying to make the hotel nicer, which is good. It was clean, which is one of the most important things. Our bathroom door wouldnt lock. They didnt have a hand towel holder/hook. The walls are thin. We could hear the people walking above us and outside. Its pretty good for a 2 star hotel.
This will be my third stay at this hotel. The location is great if you want to be as close to Disneyland as you can get, and for extra convenience there is a gas station with a small selection of groceries, health waves beauty supplies and snacks right next to it. The rooms are acceptable but a little run down. The carpet was starting to come up near the entrance and it just feels old in the room. Over all a fair deal for going to Disneyland, but its not going to blow you away with quality or service.
My experience was Great.Close walk to Disneyland for fun, and the gas station for smokes and beer.Loved sleeping with the cockroaches and lots of baby cockroaches in my room/bed, and on the nightstand. Staff was great, but not as lovely as the cockroaches that woke me up in the middle of the night to stay hi.Protip: Cockroaches are dormant so sleep with the lights on....Other then that, lovely place to stay. Youre roommates (the cockroaches) are very welcoming. :)5 stars.
Was missing a plunger, but the staff were excellent(the staff rectified the plunger) and the suite was is great condition. Stayed for 3 days in total and everyday the room was cleaned quite well. 4 stars because its located somewhat weirdly next to a super 8 and an intersection.
The management went through looking for any reason to not give our deposit back. Literally had a makeup on a towel and we lost $100. Dont stay there it isnt worth listening to tweakers work on their cars all night and hearing them fight through the paper thin walls. Worst experience at a hotel.
Fantastic location for Disneyland and the Adventure parks. Free parking and easy walking to the parks. Friendly stuff, nice light breakfast, and great pool and Jacuzzi to relax at the end of a long day. The value for money is very good.I just saw the note about this hotel being a long walk to Disney. Its not true. 15-20 minutes easy walking on pedestrian path.Of course its easy to use uber if youd like, and it should be very cheap as its just 1km away.
Good location close to Disneyland. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the price was affordable for being so close to Disney. The breakfast was a little lacking—one morning there was fruit, the next morning no fruit, which was kind of disappointing since the other options were all very carb-heavy bread items. Overall the room we stayed in was clean, but there was a dead roach in the elevator that was there both days we stayed, which was a little disturbing.
No issues checking in, came in with large party (4 adults, 3 kids). Room has a black light on the wall which was really confusing at first but once night hit we noticed the milky way and stars painted in glow-in-the-dark paint on the ceiling, super cute.Sheets were clean and replaced nightly along with the towels, blankets were a little uncomfortable and itchy but the sheets were very comfortable and the pillows were nice and fluffy.Breakfast was disappointing, there are only two cereal options which are both ones that I think are gross personally: frosted flakes and rasin bran. Danishes and a waffle maker were available as well as decent apple juice and not so decent orange juice. I ended up just eating breakfast out every day or bringing my own cereal and using the milk they had available. We did not make use of most of the other hotel amenities such as the pool or TV but both are available and functional. Staff are all very friendly. The hotel is only a few blocks from the Disneyland tram and right next to a 76 corner store. Probably the best bang for your buck for a family going to Disneyland.
We booked a night fairly last minute for new years eve. They were almost half of what everyone else was charging. Since it was so last minute I couldnt afford to shop around. When we arrived late after Disneyland we checked in without a problem and we were in our room within 10 minutes. Guy at front desk wasnt overly friendly but hey it was 12am. He was however efficient and checked us in without a hitch. I wasnt expecting much for a cheap price however when we opened the door we were pleasantly surprised. The room was clean and didnt smell!! Both my wife and I kept saying this is nice for the price. Not to mention its literally across the street from the mickey and friends parking structure. Even as the parks were letting out there was no fight with traffic and we pulled right in. For the price and convenience it cant be beat.!!
We had two queen size beds room at the first floor which could see the swimming pool trough the window. It had a sofa bed could access, still roomy even we put it out. But I couldn’t sleep, the swimming pool ligh was so bright, and it didn’t have the thick curtains to block it.
This hotel pretty much sucks. About the only positive thing I can say is that its walking distance to Disneyland. The rooms are an OK size, but the walls are paper thin. Last night our neighbor woke me up talking very loudly, and I sleep with ear plugs. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was that it came with breakfast. Well apparently this places idea of breakfast is cereal and eggs. There was no form of meat at all. No sausage, no bacon. Complete disappointment. If you plan on watching TV after a day at the park, good luck. The TV programming in this place is mostly SD, (which doesnt watch HD anymore?) and foreign language channels. How clean the towels and sheets are is also highly suspect. The first night I noticed a mascara or eye liner stain on one of my pillows. Today we noticed an orange stain on one of the towels. Could have been a foundation stain. Also when I took a shower this morning I noticed my feet were leaving dirt marks on the floor in the tub. I wore shoes and socks all day so how could my feet be dirty unless the floors in the room are dirty? Finally the Wi-fi sucks. Its super slow and barely works. I finally gave up and just used my mobile data on my phone. I couldnt get my tablet to connect t to the network at all.If all you need is a no-frills hotel close to Disneyland this one will work but if youre looking for any sort of amenities this place doesnt have it.
The hotel was okay the problem that i had its that the carpet was disgusting super dirty you couldnt walk without getting your feet dirty there is no lobby parking its terrible no parking dirty in the outside somewhat cheap but next time Ill spend a little more than staying here.
Update:The hotel has refunded the full amount of the second reservation. Thank you!We arrived at 11pm on 10/5 they refused to allow a late check out so we extended another day at 12am. We called them in the morning to let them know, the front desk insisted that there was no booking and that we had to pay directly to them again and after almost 2 hours with the app we booked through and after we checked out the front desk said she found the booking and that we could come back!!!! Didn’t even try to apologize and insisted it was not her mistake! Till now 10/10 they have not refunded us for the second reservation that we didn’t use. Will never stay there again!!
The room was clean, thats about the only positive thing I can say about this place. When we arrived they didnt have a room ready for us and made it very clear that they wouldnt let us into a room until 3pm. I parked my family, including 2 small children, in the lobby because we had no where else to go and that helped them change their mind. The continental breakfast is kinda a joke. Cereal, toast, bagels or pastries and make your own waffles. The bagels and pastries didnt show up every morning. Milk, juice and coffee that tastes like its made with dirty water. Not a lot of room for eating either. The TV in the room is all via an antenna, which made it inconsistent as to what channels wed get everyday. The AC in the room worked pretty well, but didnt remove any humidity from the room so all of the sheets and our clothes always felt damp and nothing would dry.Several nights we were woken up by others saying at the hotel and their children running up and down the halls or yelling. So while this was more inexpensive, I dont think I would stay here again.
Im not sure how anyone is comfortable bringing your family to this hotel. The rooms are gross, the carpet is old, the ceiling has water stains all over it, the doors were dirty and wouldnt lock properly. The shower was either cold or burining hot and the breakfast is a joke. Mini muffins or a waffle is your choice. Even if its close to Disneyland pick a different hotel. This is outdated and needs to be remodeled badly. Do NOT bring your family here. Stay elsewhere.
This is a nice little motel close to Disney. The rooms are clean and decorated nicely. The breakfast offered in the lobby is very underwhelming. You basically have 2 loaves of bread to choose from along with 2 types of cereal and juices. The arco gas station had JimmyDean sandwiches hot and ready. The cost of uber XL was about $10 which is helpful when getting to and from Disney.
The price was good for the area. The pillows on the beds were too thick to be comfortable though. The carpet in the room felt sticky; I dont know if that could be fixed by steam cleaning or if its just what happens to old hotel carpet. The bath tubs plug didnt work. The room was muggy without AC and the AC unit was obnoxiously loud, but functional. The included breakfast provided absolutely zero protein or fiber; it was waffles, toast, bagels, and cereal. There was a big unlabeled tub of white, presumably petroleum based spread next to the toasters, but luckily there were also small packets of real butter. The provided hot beverage was good in that it was closer to coffee than most arbitrary brown colored waters. The breakfast area itself was split across multiple rooms and generally cramped with folk all awkwardly trying not to be in each others way. The employees I interacted with were polite and helpful, and the room was equipped with all the basics.Stay here if youre trying to save money and arent a picky sleeper, but consider that you arent saving anything on breakfast unless you love hotel waffles and arent concerned about diabetes. In hindsight I would have paid another $20/night for my girlfriend to not toss and turn all night and for some fake eggs and real coffee in the morning. I do thank the staff for making my stay here as comfortable as possible with the resources available to them though!
Rooms and service are always well above average, with comfortable beds, and TVs with more channels than you could imagine; also included are a mini fridge, microwave, room safe, and an AC/heater unit (although youd be hard-pressed to find a hotel without).Be aware, however, that if you pay with cash, you will be asked to pay a deposit in case of smoking/damage to the unit, but said deposit will be returned to you upon departure (assuming you didnt break anything or smoke in the room).A big (and new) issue, although this doesnt fall on Travelodges lap of blame, is that the Mickey and Friends parking lot is no longer accessible via the employee parking shortcut, which is a huge damper on a previously convenient option (walk about five minutes from hotel to Mickey and Friends parking, take trams to Downtown Disney, rinse and repeat); now, youll have to walk about double/triple the length, and a lot less convenience. Theres also no shuttle from the hotel, which is a pain if you dont drive.
Rooms were ckean. Had 6 of us in the room. Only had 4 towels and 2 wash cloths. Had to ask 2 nights fir more. Tub is too tall to step over if you have hip problems or are short. Having a balcony on the upper floors was nice for watching fireworks. View of fireworks was phenomenal. Staff responded to our requests and fixed problems quickly, such as a malfunctionong air conditioner (it was replaced the next day). The free breakfast was waffles, toast, bagel, or pastry. It gets crowded later in the morning.
Nice place to stay if visiting Disneyland. You can walk to the parking structure from the hotel and catch the tram in about five minutes or walk straight to the park in about a half hour. They have rooms that can accommodate five people which is tough to find anywhere. Staff is friendly and helpful. They Also have free continental breakfast.
When we arrived at this hotel, we had problems with our reservation. There was a nice lady up front that was trying to resolve our issue. But then her shift had ended so the new worker was taking over. WOW this guy was a complete JERK!!! I have never been treated so bad in my entire life!! He was yelling at me and not even listening to a word that I had to say. Our group had finally had enough of his rude attitude that we told him that we would figure out the situation on our own and come talk the manager the next day. Then to top this place off the first night we were in our room my daughter had a bite on her forehead. We then found a weird looking bug on the table next to the bed. We killed the bug took it to the front desk. They said the bug was a cockroach and they would come spray our room that day. Regarding the bite, they said they did not have any other rooms available and that our room was fine. Well on to the next night stay I was bitten 6 times on my forehead. I went up to the desk and told them that I wanted a new room. The person at the desk was the JERK from before. He would not even talk to me about the bites, just gave me a room key to another room. I have NEVER had an issue with bed bugs, I just hope we did not bring them home!!! The hotel did not even seem concerned, just offered another room.I would NEVER stay here again!!!!!!!!!!! HORRIBLE experience!!!!
The hotel is okay, but the service isnt that great. The complementary breakfast was really clustered, the bathroom wasnt that clean, and the free Wi-Fi didnt work cause it was just a login username and password that were the same for everyone. The good thing about the place was I liked the layout of the hotel. It was close to Disneyland so we can just walk there. And the room was spacious.
This is a great place to stay! For the past 10 years my family has stayed here anytime we have a two-day Disneyland trip. The staff are very nice and accommodating. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. Each room has a tv, microwave, and combo mini-fridge/freezer (fyi, freezer is a small one inside the fridge, not a seperate compartment, but works great). To add to the Disney magic, there are pictures of Disney movie scenes and characters in each room. Also, something my family and I love, each room has a black light and on the ceiling is glow paint. When the room is dark, it looks like the ceiling is covered with stars and constellations. Its really cool, and to this day, my family still loves it. There is a free breakfast everyday from 6:30am-9:30am, which consist of make-your-own waffles, ceral, milk & juices, bread & toast, pastries, and other things like that. Very family friendly. There is also a nice pool & jacuzzi on site. Its about a five minute walk to the Disneyland parking structure and tram loading area. Also, the hotel is so close to Disneyland that on nights with the firework shows, you can get a perfect view of it from the catwalk above the hotel pool. The prices are usually great too. If you are looking for a family friendly and safe place to stay for your Disneyland trip, then this is the place for you! :)
Only good thing was the bed. Stayed here while visiting Disneyland parks. The staff were extremely unhelpful; they gave us the wrong directions to Disneyland!!? Couldn’t give answers to very simple questions. Breakfast was inedible, only good thing was the apple juice.
Rooms were clean with no bugs. People above us were walking back and fourth all morning and during the night--like it kept us up--very loud waking (maybe thin walls and floors).Horrible breakfast. Please note--this is a 2-Star Hotel. The breakfast is white bread and waffles. NO MEAT AT ALL. NO EGGS. ALSO, when fruit or good items are out, they DO NOT REPLENISH. I found front desk staff cold and slightly rude. PLEASE DO NOT JUST READ THEIR REVIEWS, CONSIDER 2-STARS. IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR FAMILY AND EVEN HAVE A LITTLE MONEY, IT WILL BE WELL SPENT SOMEWHERE ELSE. DO NOT GO THERE JUST FOR BREAKFAST--YOU WILL BE VERY DISAPPOINTED. THE WALK TO DISNEYLAND IS NOT REASONABLE--YOU WILL BE WALKING FOR ABOUT 20-minutes and THEY HAVE NO SHUTTLE. I WILL NOT BE BACK.
DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU VALUE PRIVACY. This would’ve been a 4 star for helpful staff, nice clean rooms, and accommodations (breakfast docked it one star) until the last night of our stay. My sister and I came back to our room after a day at Disney and although we had a “Do Not Disturb” sign on our door while we were gone, we came back to find the sign on the ground, the light on, the TV on and on a different channel than we had been watching the night before, and our toilet not only used, but unflushed. We called the front desk and complained, and a few minutes later went down to talk in person (there was a slight language barrier and we wanted to make sure that we had been clear). The man at the front desk had the security footage playing, but he wasn’t even looking at it when we were walking around to enter the building. He called back up to our room a few hours later saying that they watched the footage and no one came in our room. Considering both my sister and I are anal about order and cleanliness, we know they are lying we just aren’t sure why. Docked more stars for not only lying to us, but calling us liars ourselves.
Moveable,wormy-like leeches crawling in and out of crevices and grooves between tub and floor in bathroom. Room was otherwise good; just dont get the basement as the room was too dark and depressing; beds were comfortable though. I think I paid too much for what we got.😮....
I visited the US twice last year, and stayed at this Travelodge both times. It is conveniently located in Anaheim, right across the road from Disneyland. The rooms I had were good, everything worked as it should, plenty of off-street parking, and a very convenient 24 hour gas station right next door. It wasnt 5 star, but it was all I needed, as I wasnt in the room all that much anyway. Would recommend it to a budget conscious traveller looking for a roof over their head and a comfortable bed to sleep in.
Our stay here in two different rooms was problematic in an epic way. For starters, their key cards and locks would not work half the time. The floors were so filthy that our socks went from white to dark grey in a matter of minutes of just walking on around on the carpet. We came back from Disneyland twice to find cockroaches running in and out of our rooms under the doors that had a 3/4 gap under each of them.Breakfast was a nightmare, for the amount of guests they can accommodate, there is not enough room by a long shot and they were always running out of the meager breafast offerings they had and the staff was always (with one exception) very grumpy and reluctant to help. The rooms looked like they came straight out of the eighties and there was mold in each of the bathrooms. I travel alot for work and of all the places I have ever stayed (and that includes some pretty low end hotels in smaller towns) this one was the worst. I have never written an online review before, but this was so bad I feel the need to share our experience. We will not be staying here ever again. It is close to the park, but with that being said. Its very apparent that whomever owns it, is not interested in maintaining it to a very high standard and only interested in the revenue it brings in. I hope they seriously consider addressing these sanitation/health issues.
Nothing to special. Wifi isnt all that great and the walk to Disneyland gets pretty ridiculous after the second day, but I guess you could get used to it. If you dont have children who would complain that their dogs are barking every few yards, it probably isnt that bad of a walk. Walking is healthy exercise afterall. You also save money on parking because its included into the price and if you walk to the park, you save money on parking two ways. The showers are adequate and the sheets are clean. For someone who wants to save a bit of money and isnt too picky about where they stay, its an okay place. However, we probably wont stay here next time considering that my senior age parents are having a hard time walking back and forth from the park. Not to mention my son is worried about his dogs and constantly complains about it.
Its close to the park, great free breakfast! The staff are very helpful. Very clean rooms. This time had a room for handicapped. Spacious room & bathroom updated. There is a shortcut thru the parking lot, follow signs for (walk up stairs) Daisy on 2nd floor to get to security & shuttles to the park. Have been here several times & am very happy with this hotel.
My boyfriend and I stayed here for 4 nights while going to Disneyland and the beach. The rooms were large, well decorated and very well cleaned. All the staff were so kind even moving cleaning carts so we could get by with the bellhop. The closeness to Disneyland was perfect could see the fireworks from the bridge balcony they have. My only down point is the breakfast all carbs with bagels, toast, cereal, and waffles. Didnt have a fruit selection at all. Other than that our stay was great. Didnt hear any of the noise outside and the construction didnt go late into the night. They also let me park my car the day of checkin before the allowed time so we could visit disneyland.
Surprisingly amazing hotel for walking distance access to Disneyland via the parking tram and shuttles. Room was very clean, friendly and respectful service, and the king size bed was a much needed item after 3 days of park hopping!Breakfast lacks protein, but the ARCO around the corner has very affordable snack options to supplement the free breakfast. And the blacklight in the room with the milky way drawn across the ceiling with glow in the dark specks? Very awesome!
Spent a weekend here while I visited Disneyland and it was a very pleasant and wonderful stay rooms were very clean service and amenities were the best. The price was well worth it. The front desk was very helpful with directions to all Anaheim and Disneyland had to offer. Will definitely book this hotel again without a doubt.
This place was awful except the price. I guess you get what you pay for. First off, the first room we got was dirty and had no bedding but management accommodated immediately after informing them about the mistake. Secondly, the second room wasnt clean either. Two pillows had stains and the sheets didnt feel clean. The shower also had hair all over it. I probably will not be back to this location
Pros and cons to this hotel!Pros: rooms are recently renovated, clean, huge tv, refrigerator, microwave, fun galaxy on the ceiling when you turn off the lights, blacked out shades, close to a Disneyland tram you can walk to(15mins), or go through downtown disney(24mins), nice place to sleep while visiting both parks, and great prices!Cons: more than half of the cable channels are foreign, statics on most US channels, hard beds/pillows, shower squeaks when you have on the hot water!Theres also a long balcony next to the pool, that you can see the Disneyland fireworks on! So not a bad stay, wed definitely stay again!
This hotel has bed bugs. Stayed here over the weekend and all of my kids woke up with bites all over them. The front desk was insensitive to the situation and urged us to go to urgent care. We went came back with documentation from the doctor saying that they have insect bites all of them. The staff did not care the manager Eric rolled his eyes at us. We drove all the was from Seattle Washington and now our kids are suffering from bites so they cant enjoy thier trip to Disneyland or Lego land because of this hotel. The staff hangs up on you when you call. They talk at you. They would not work with us on this situation. They didnt care. They wont let me talk to the GM. They told me to talk to their lawyer. Never stay here.
Room was comfortable and clean. We thought it odd that there was a black light in between the two beds. But figured it out once the light was turned on. In the rooms ceiling there was stars and galaxy that glowed after the black light was turned off. The other odd part was the shower/tub. It was all tiled but the edge of the tub was at least two feet high, and you had to climb over to get in.
I have been staying here and another property on Harbor Rd and Best western on Harbor as well for seven years now. Front desk always friendly. Rooms clean. The only thing that sucks is their Wifi but who needs it right? When you’re close to the happiest place on earth.
Ok place to stay by Disneyland, its on the not so popular entree to Disneyland. All the parking lots are on this side of the park, its a good 3/4 mile walk to the Disneyland tram. And there are no drop off spots on this side of the park. So its not as popular as the motels on Harbor street.
Good location close to Disneyland, room was clean and beds comfortable, staff were polite and helpful, breakfast was good although the room layout could use a change as the toaster creates a bottleneck with one person standing at it preventing access to most other food and drink items for others.
The breakfast doesnt have much selection. Half of the sliced up bananas were from the previous day because they were soft and slimy. The carpet in the room had not been vacuumed because there was food all over the place. The pillows were super hard and lumpy. The room had a black light mounted on the wall. Thats not really bad just weird.
Every thing is decent here , love the pool , only real complain I have is down stairs downstairs smells really strong of bug spray , other than that though , the staff seems genuinely friendly, (most of them ) but of course, not all . Rooms are not dirty.. Stayed up stairs once and was cold because there wasnt enough blankets on their beds , down stairs by the pool is ok and im not too cold , A/c works good Housekeeping is friendly and are willing to help u if u want ur room cleaned faster the last time I was here (housekeeping was working on a room and I asked to use the vacuum and she let me ,I was happy about that , as my boys made crumbs that morning) I would like to see some more stars on the ceiling and possibly walls at night when the black light is on . Its already my 3rd time staying here for 3 or more days at each time ,(maybe next time I get a bigger room for a great price ) ;)
Location was nice, apparently you can see the fireworks from our spot. It was a very good view! The only downside is you either have to walk down the stairs or walk across the bridge to get down. I didnt really like how loud it was, you can hear everyone walking by or talking loudly in the early AMs.
My husband and I travel a lot and this place was disgusting, paper thin walls (could LITERALLY here every word of conversation and every noise in each room), black and brown filth from glue and dirty bodies under the rubber mat in the tub. The carpet not being vacuumed against the walls not to mention the carpet was filthy. We had to air out the room for a couple hours to make it bearable. Had to fight desk clerk to honor their online discount. Upon check-in desk staff tried to charge our card for two rooms both the same room for different prices, we only had one room mind you (our bank caught this and cancelled the transaction immediately, because we always just get one room). Upon check-out the desk staff tried to charge us an additional $50.00 more than the online price quoted, and what the same desk staff (same people who checked us in) had confirmed when we initially checked in. Finally had to bring up the internet add to show them and had to call the bank to cancel the transaction until they would honor the price quoted. The breakfast was horrible, food spilled everywhere, dirty tables, a very small assortment of breads, 2 cereals, waffles, and milk or water split all over. Walking to our room, there was trash in the hallways, on the stairs, windows where filthy. Cleaning staff where walking all around, none picked up any trash. Could see through bathroom door handle to the other side. Temperature unit didnt really work, took hours to either make it warm enough or cool it down. Oh yeah, have fun enjoying the plastic covered chairs! This place is a slum. If you want to get a room you look forward to coming back to and soaking your body after a long fun day at Disneyland or relaxing and read a book/ watch some TV you wont find it at the Travelodge Anaheim Inn. I dont want anyone else to feel violated like we did, room, money, and service wise. Please take my heed and FIND ANOTHER PLACE. CHEAPER ISNT ALWAYS BETTER! I took pictures and now just have to figure out how to post them where you all can see for yourselves just in case you have any doubt of my warnings!P.S. Disneyland and California Adventures were great, completely clean, accommodating and kind cast members!
Not a great experience. Close to Disney but not worth the money. Hotels in this area are double the price theyd usually be so spend $30-$50 more and enjoy your stay in awesomely instead of just making ends meet. Id recommend Springhill suites. Stayed there on my second night and for a difference of $50 its definitely worth it...
This was budget accommodation but that is why we chose it. I could not fault the rooms or service. The free breakfast was cereal, breads/bagels/pastries, and waffles which we tucked into on all three mornings. Special thanks to the lady sorting out the breakfast bar, she let us have items that werent part of that days selection, and was very helpful.
We stayed there for 2 nights. And let me say its close to disneyland. Staff where nice, only thing that bothered me was that when we came back from disneyland we where tired and wanted to shower and get ready for bed we saw cockroaches on the sink, i freaked out a bit. The carpets look and feel dirty. It was ok. Much rather stay somewhere else tough.
We stayed here because of the location next to Disneyland and thought it would be a good time. The room horrible everything was out dated and seemed to be falling apart. The only thing that was nice was the front lobby when you check in after that this place is a disaster. Next time we come back I plan on just paying the extra money and staying somewhere.

2022-05-30Okay to begin with this review I have stayed here twice. But my recent stay was better then my first . I only don’t give it a 5 star review because beds werent comfortable to my liking and bathrooms very small. Now to the good things . The location is beyond amazing in close to Disneyland . The rooms are clean . They also offered to go breakfast which is always a plus I’ve stayed at other places that don’t give you anything at all . All the staff was really nice except a lady who was working morning on Friday may 27 at 10:30am at checking out time she was rude . But everyone else was super nice . Would stay here again definitely !

2021-12-27Check in process was easy, I spoke to the kind gentleman behind the window and I checked into the hotel in less than 2 minutes. Parking was easy, there was an elevator to the 3rd floor where our room was. The room was big and spacious, perfect for two people. It was clean! I am a clean freak and inspected every inch of the room and it was clean. The bathroom was clean, and so were the sheets and the beds. The fridge worked, and the little black light they had in the room to look at the stars was a cute touch. The only complaint I have about the room is the TV. 99% of the channels were not in English and I couldnt even connect my phone to it to be able to watch something. There was nothing on for us to watch and we had to skip channels to be able to find something remotely watchable. The only other thing is: IF YOU DONT LIKE NOISE, DO NOT STAY HERE.This hotel is situated right behind Disneyland, like right behind it and when the fireworks go off for the night, they make the whole entire hotel shake. It is LOUD, but that doesnt change the fact that the hotel is close and the drive is literally 3 minutes to the park. If you can deal with that, then stay here! I know my husband and I will be back for sure.Thank you!

2021-12-29First of all, you get what you pay for. However, I booked this room based upon photos and other google reviews, which were not accurate at all.Our room was absolutely filthy. There were ants on the floor. The decor is updated, but the actual construction of the room is old and falling apart. By updating the decor they’ve essentially put a bandaid on a hemorrhage and it’s not fooling me.I considered checking out the moment I walked in and staying elsewhere, but after a very long day of traveling, delayed flights, etc… we just needed a place to stay and sleep before a couple of days at Disney. The shower head is held up by a suction cup- one that I had to install so I could take a “hands free” shower, and it wouldn’t stay adhered to the wall. It fell in the middle of the night causing a loud noise that had me fly out of bed freaked out. There is some funk on the wall, I don’t even want to know. The bedding is thin. A sheet, a thin blanket, and what feels like a polyester shower curtain as a decorative cover. It’s been very cold and I’m having to sleep with the heater on in order to stay warm. It is very loud. The whole hotel rattles during the Disneyland fireworks display. Parking is cramped. There are no amenities. It’s possibly walking distance to DL, probably about 2 miles from the hotel to the gate. We didn’t bother as it was too cold and we were tired. If you have literally no expectations then this might be the place for you. Anything would be a step up from here. I will not be returning and would caution Any future travelers as well.

2022-04-07The room was large with 3 queens but there was unpleasantness with our stay. The blankets were old and scratchy. Pillows were small and lumpy. The carpeting was absolutely filthy, sticky, and disgusting, and turned our socks and bare feet black. A baby roach crawled onto a cup of juice I had just poured for myself. The front staff was not rude but they definitely lack customer service skills. The parking on site and proximity to Disney was good.

2022-06-02I was nervous to stay here because of the mixed reviews. I wanted a hotel near Disneyland, with free parking, that was affordable. The Travelodge offers this and a free grab and go breakfast! When we arrived, the staff was very kind. Finding the room was difficult. They provided a map but we still had trouble finding the room that was across the walkway above the pool. Our room was a double Queen. It was large, nice, and clean! I was pleasantly surprised by how nice it felt. However, the blankets were basically two sheets. I would definitely ask the front for more blankets. The hotel is a 1-2 minute drive from Disneyland, or a 10 ish minute walk. The hotel will let you stay parked there while you’re at Disney, just make sure to let the front desk know. We did not utilize the grab and go breakfasts but we loved that they were an option. When we booked we got a room for $89. I’ve seen it fluctuate up to $140. I would still say this hotel is worth it if you utilize free parking for Disneyland. Great experience!

2022-01-16The location to Disney is convenient. Rooms are somewhat updated. The couch was nasty I wouldnt let my kids near it(see picture). There was no coffee maker in the room even though the room detail says there is. To top it off, no breakfast even though local hotels are offering it. There was no water pressure in the shower unless you wanted it scolding hot.(as seen in pictures) Mad we wasted our wyndham points on this hotel.

2022-06-25The good thing about this inn is its two minutes away to disneyland by car. You kind of get what you paid for. What you are about to look for is poor. The bed, and pillow are hard. Blanket/sheet feels raggity. The floor feels sticky and old and it keeps your feet black all day. Toilet just clogged up for no reason the whole time. We didnt dare to even do a #2 after drinking coffee. After we left to Disneyland and return back the same night, no housekeeper came in to clean up our room, or replace our towels. Their breakfast was just a muffin/plastic taste Sunny D, and some other stuff like snacking.

2022-06-15Good location for a good price. Easy to walk to either park. The rooms could use some renovating, but they were alright. The only thing that I didnt like was that, like many places, the motel is using the guise of COVID to skimp on normal amenities. We stayed there for 6 days and not once did we get housekeeping. When we eventually needed towels, you had to go get them from the front desk (who werent wearing masks- so no clue why housekeeping couldnt happen). Our breakfast was an 8oz SunnyD, a granola bar, 5 hostess mini muffins, and a bag of Cheeze-its 🤷🏿♂️. When you had to go pick up your breakfast, none of the staff were wearing masks, so obviously the reasoning for these inconveniences werent COVID. I am not a COVID freak on either side of the spectrum, but when something doesnt add up, it doesnt add up.

2022-03-01Booking and check-in process was smooth. Room was clean and well stocked. Great location with many food and dining places nearby. Perfect view of the Disneyland fireworks right from my room window, I definitely got my moneys worth.

2022-06-27Positive: I really liked how easy this hotel was to find and navigate. The staff was nice and helpful. Negative: I wish the map showed you how far you are from Disneyland main gate, or have a shuttle.
