What a great and easy experience! First time having a camper delivered set up and picked up. It made our family camping memorable ! Thank you Travel Time we will definitely use you in the future!
We have received very poor customer service,This could have been a plus for them they could have handled it like heroes, but instead we got bare minimum or less just enough that you wouldnt sue.Rented a trailer first night of 5 days found bed bugs, bites on one kid, found the actual bugs and droppings in the couch. The maintenance guy came out and saw them as well. That night the only thing they offered us was to bug bomb the trailer and let us move back in , in a couple of hours. ( Not an acceptable solution) No other trailer, No offer of a hotel room . We slept in borrowed tents and cars that night.They did give us another trailer the next day but we lost at least a day of vacation sanitizing, washing everything, loading and unloading the trailer. not to mention just the icky factor. We have had to try to call and contact and bug them they have not been responsive. Almost a week later and they have not settled a refund with us, no written contact and we are getting the run around that they need to contact corporate. The refund they were willing to provide, $200 single hotel rooms at San Diego beaches in Summer run far over that amount much more for the whole family with 3 adults and 4 kids to spend the night. That is how they said they came up with what they offered us but they used a 2 star hotel rate for 1 room max 4 occupants. Not a single apology or concern.Beware, of this company as long as it all goes OK its fine. They are slipping no customer service or awareness that their companies reputation was on the line. We have rented from these guys for 15 years they used to be responsive, and on it. The two years previous to this we had minor problems like AC broke and a Sewer hose leak. They were handled but slowly and only with pushing. No compensation was ever asked for or received it was just an inconvenience. But this is WAY over the top.
The Good: had plenty of units available. Delivered unit pretty close to being on time. Quick set up. Everything worked at first and when the toilet broke their response to fix it was quick and efficient.The Bad: Charged a full day because we had the RV one (1) extra hour. Unit must have have been out at silver strand because it was full of sand. Their interior cleaning is very superficial and exterior cleaning was non-existent. I recommend that you dont look under the mattress.If we needed to rent an RV, we would most likely try one of their competitors primarily because of the overcharge.
Only plus for our trailer, it was at the correct RV park.Everything went downhill from there. Old trailer, advertising all over exterior, filthy exterior rug/carpet, interior upholstery worn and tattered. DONT USE TRAVEL TIME . . . .
Thank you for your patience with us. My family and I rented on of your 26 bunk house trailers. When we signed up and gave you our site number, you warned us that we had no sewer connection - plus, you left a note in the trailer reminding us of that. My husband ignored these warnings and used the shower until the tub backed up. We called and spoke to Ted and he said not to worry. Robert was sent to solve our problem because we had three days left in the campground. Robert said we werent the first to do this and that he didnt mind coming to help us out. He broke the trailer down, towed it to the dump station to empty it, repositioned the trailer back in our spot and hooked everything up. He even cleaned the entire floor before he left. He just told us thats what he is paid to do. Hes a good employee with great patience. He represents your company well. Thanks Robert.
Just want to give a HUGE Thank You to Willie and the hard working staff at Travel Time. Our time at Campland was amazing because of the on~time deliveries, quick responses and great service. Any issue we had with, lighting the oven, tub leak, accidentally locked out of trailer ect... they came right away. We had a group of 20 families at Campland and Travel Time was able to accommodate and service us all. We have been using Travel Time for 16 years, each year the Customer Experience improves and we will continue to use Travel Time for our RV Rentals. Thanks Again.
Great service. Clean RV! The only minor snag encountered was a very sensitive CM/LP detector going off (our own doing probably since aerosols trip them pretty easily). The company insisted on sending someone over even though the problem was gone. They checked the whole rig to make sure everything was g2g. Travel trailer was set up for us before arrival and shortly after arrival one of their reps gave us a tour/tutorial. Awesomw time. Thanks
Refund promised but never provided. Vehicle broke down, owner Kevin promised to pay for repairs then stopped answering my phone calls. In addition to that they were late providing the Rv. I spent 1100 in repairs and lost a day of vacation time. Kevin the company owner told me he was working on getting my money back but he had to speak with the real Rv owner. Then he stopped answering calls. Now Im in the middle of suing for the money. This place is terrible, I paid 2200 dollars for the rental and spent 1100 in repairs. Dont get ripped off by this guy and his wife running a scam.
When I called to inquire about a rental the man was so incredibly rude. I dont understand why you would be so rude. You must not want business.
Very comfortable RV. They setup in the park for us. Easy.
Our family has a large reunion every year in San Diego, these people have been wonderful!!!!!

2022-01-30Danny not only handles onsite RV rentals, but also makes mobile repairs on private party owned RVs and trailers. I had Danny make several repairs on our RV at Campland that required not just basic knowledge, but finding a few creative solutions for unique problems (minor hull breach from a cutoff tree branch, replacing faulty leveling jack, repairing malfunction of electric stairs, replacing worn out roof hatch cover, rebuilding my generator, etc.) In all cases the work was first rate, and his charges were very reasonable. I recommended Danny to an RV park friend who needed to have a toilet replaced. Danny did it fast and at a much lower cost than was expected. I also learned that if he didnt think he was the right guy for a particular job (i.e. work on the engine, transmission, and others,) that he would not experiment just to get the work. If Danny takes your job, he will do it right, and at a good price!

2020-11-09What a great experience we had using Camp Time RV rental. We rented a motorhome from Kevin he was quick to help us out in finding the right RV to rent for our trip out to Lake Tahoe. We picked up the RV and the staff was very accommodating in helping us understand the RV.I was concerned because there werent many reviews and felt cautioned I told Kevin that he should have more reviews written because the service was impeccable. I definitely will refer my friends and family and I will definitely come rent an RV again in the future. Our trip was fantastic and we made memories we will never forget. Thanks again Kevin and Staff for making our trip so easy.

2020-12-22This yr catching a plain for a Vac. wasn’t an option. We wanted to stay local and do something new, fun and having Social Distance was important. Renting from this guys was the best decision. We got aNew RV something not expect. We had the comfort of our home. My kids had no complains that’s surprising. And saving movie was a plus. 2019-11-05Arrived at the dealership to rent a travel trailer on a Friday and return in the following Sunday. Easy set up and technician able to explain everything in detail and answer any and all questions. Enjoyed the travel trailer over the weekend; very clean and kept in good shape. Had problem with billing but management quick to sort things out. Highly recommend and will rent again from this location.

2017-02-01Regarding Sue Jorgensens comment. This was the first time we had a unfortunate problem with these bugs. Sue was not the person with the reservation, but was staying with Mary in the travel trailer, therefore we dealt mostly with Mary. The evening this was brought to our attention we did not have a trailer to bring them, but explained we could bring another trailer the following day and offered $200.00 towards a place to stay. They declined this and opted to wait for the replacement trailer the next day.After understanding the problem we immediately took the trailer to a professional exterminating company. Proof attached.We showed proof to Mary and refunded $500.00 to her and she seemed satisfied with the resolution.
