Great casual bar to grab a cocktail, beer [tons on tap], or wine to go along with bar food. Yes, its bar food. The prices arent bad but if youre in mood for tacos with more authenticity, visit a local Mexican restaurant in the neighborhood. Along with a mature, local crowd, live music on Friday night. TVs playing sports throughout but The nice thing is having a view of downtown Torrance even if you sit inside. You might need to troll for parking on the weekends but the structure and adjacent streets are free. Best thing here is the service.
Came here last weekend and they didnt have steak, soda, come. Not much of beer selection. Their micheladas was not great, flat taste. Also asked for jalapeno poppers , and the poppers were wrapped in egg roll and drizzle with strawberry jelly, not good.

The chips and salsa are the best! Wait...so is the batter they use for their Buffalo Wings! So forget BW3, and Wingstop. Tortilla Cantina not only has great food, but the service is top notch. The employees are friendly and have always given us great service...Even the owner was there and very down to earth! This is my stop for food whenever Im in Old Town Torrance. Restrooms and restaurant is CLEAN!! Awesome job, guys!

WoW! Their main customer flow is beer drinking humans. Well Im not into beer, Im into tacos and I am not impressed at all. I ordered the chicken Korean tacos and they are so tiny! Plus they were cold! And they had 3 to four small pieces of chicken. For $10.36 Im telling you, if you are going there for the food... dont. If you are going there for the beer, by all means stuff yourself.The table I sat at is sticky, but looks clean. I think the place is clean and the girl serving is very nice and supper attractive, but the food is not! I was browsing around to the other customers food and I saw nothing I wanted.Any way. Until I come for the beer then I can review further... but I dont drink beer.

Ive had good meals here in the past, its never crowded but today was not so good, we were late getting back from lunch because our food took over 30 minutes to arrive, and it was terrible. I guess its a bad day? Chef called in sick? Anyway not sure well be back.

Service.... for me that is the beginning of any business. I came in the night the Dodgers won the World Series. I came late but was offered a seat. I was welcomed and made felt at home. The beer was cold served in a clean glass. Very good selection of Beer. They asked for my name.... again these are big things. Im not just another number. This is why Tortilla Cantina is the Bar in Torrance.

I have just recently been ordering (takeout) and more recently (outside patio) - the food and service does not disappoint.I have tried the tacos, taquitos, pan seared burrito... no issues at all and always made to my preference.
God-awful service at the bar. I liked our first bartender but she was at shift end. We cleared our tab with her and opened a new one with the incoming lady (around 4pm on a Monday afternoon). We were virtually ignored. The food we ordered was good to quite good. But there are too many places to hang for a beer to put up with inattentive service, especially on a day that was far from busy.

I would of never though that I would find a local bar 5 min from home that has a great atmosphere AND AMAZING DRINKS! My server Kaila was very attentive and man o man the Well Drinks as well as $2 Taco Tuesdays are a must when you come here. I been here twice and def. will be considering myself a regular customer. The occasional live music with a multitude of TVs to catch the big game or fight makes for a Good Time always.

They have a diverse list of beers, so thats what makes this place good. Im honestly not a big fan of their food, but the beer makes up for it. The bartenders are also very friendly. Theres ample parking since its located in old town Torrance. This place is great for UFC nights. Its $15 per head of you reserve a spot. You will spot plenty of locals and old timers here, enjoying a cold brew. Check it out, and have a some good beer.
First time here they have a great selection on tap beer.. we were told that Thursday and Friday theres live music Latin 80s and Rick I mean what else you need. Service was great plus they have all Dodgers games for sure Im coming back

It was great! From the management, server, and busboy, they treated us great, they were covid conscious, and under the circumstances could not have done a better job. Not to mention the food was delicious! So kudos to the chef as well. PS. The Los Angeles Brewery Dead Cowboy Red was an excellent choice with the chicken fajitas and shimp ceviche.
Nice selection of beers here. Friendly staff. Kitchen closes pretty early so did not get a chance to try food. On street parking or nearby garages. Casual place, good for gathering with friends.
Great little corner spot. The food always tastes fresh and is full of flavor. They have an (almost) all day happier hour menu. They also have a self-served chips and salsa station - the best! Chips tastes homemade and the salsas (yes, a variety) are fresh and tasty! We usually go during the lunch hour (around noon-ish time) but this last time we arrived closer to 2PM and the waitress said she was surprised that the chip bar was still set-up. So apparently, they only have the self-served chip bar during lunch hours.
Food was OK. Salsa bar looked a little suspect. Its more of a bar, so if you want to watch the game and get a beer, this is your place; however, the smell of stale beer is off-putting of youre eating. I had the El Segundo Amber alert, and it was good. Our server was nice.
We saw the Dodgers World Series game 3 there and it was fun and full of Dodgers fans. We arrived after the game started and it was jammed pack but Rick and the waitresses made an effort to find us two chairs and a spot to watch the game. Great energy and very livey. Craft beers and happy hour food was good.
First time at Cantina - awesome IPA selections. Such a great atmosphere chillng with drunken patrons. Shout out to my server Allison for all the laughs and exceptional customer service. Sure to be back again soon when the Dogders are playing in the playoffs.
Loved it, went on taco tues. of course they have great lunch specials with scrumptious salsa and toppings. I will definitely be back it is a sports bar too, nice wrap-around bar with plenty of t.v.s. The coolest thing is dog friendly patio, you can even order a chicken or steak patty for your pup - how cool is that. Lastly, only four stars vs. 5 (perfect) due to some fly and gnat activity, a few are understandable but there were an excessive amount which compromised my experience. The owner should consider installing the bug light bars above all doors and other sources to remedy this issue.

Every other Wednesday is Blues and Brews night, awesome band, great vibes, chill atmosphere! I really enjoyed sampling a flight of Scholb beers, guest brewer of the week. Beers rotate here frequently and the food is great. Fun times
I wanted to like this place. But it’s really just not great food. Watery beans. Tasteless everything else. They were out of many beers. Seriously just a poor experience. We won’t go back.
Delicious food, great atmosphere, fantastic people and service. Plenty of tvs to watch the game, plenty of beers local and far on tap. Great place to walk to, take your bike. I eat outside with my dogs!
While the restaurant was packed thanks to the monthly antique faire, the service was pleasant and the food was delicious. It may have been a bit slow thanks to the crowd, we never felt like they were trying to get us out the door.Ill be returning here again when the crowds arent as big.
I know this sounds crazy, but they have the best dry rub chicken wings Ive ever had. They also have a nice selection of local beers, easy going atmosphere, and a nice open, breezy layout.
This is a decent place for an afterwork hangout or to catch a sports game and have a beer. They seemed to have a substancial amount of regulars doing both. They have a decent selection of microbrews on tap. I cant comment on the food because I didnt order a meal, but at happy hour no one else was eating either. Everyone was drinking around the bar.
Awesome food, amazing beer selection, friendly staff, if you havent been yet, you need to at least give it one try. The rotating beers on draught are always impressive and a strep above the rest. Just go, you wont be sorry.
If you like good Mexican food, I would not recommend you go here. The servers are nice and its a cute spot to have a drink and watch a game with friends but the food is flavorless and disappointing.
This Small local bar in the Haight is fantastic. Chris the bartender was amazing. Awesome to sit at the bar and watch him make great drinks for his patrons. I strongly recommend to make this a stop on your visit to Torrance.
Great place, home style Mexican food and exceptional local craft beer selection. Super friendly staff and patrons, locally frequented. Kind of picked this place out of the blue, and stayed wayyyy longer than expected. Do NOT go to Keegans. You can see my review there. Should have never left this place to go there. Kayla Kayla Kayla!! She rocked.We had a party of at least 20 this past Friday and she took great care of us and made sure we were getting what we needed. I dont remember much of what happened coz I had a great time. The OMelveny Red Ale is delicious and it came in a humongous stein:-)We will definitely be back.

I was looking for a nice little bar to grab some beers and food so I decided to eat here. It has a pretty nice selection of drinks and the atmosphere felt very inviting. However I ordered the 3 buffalo shrimp tacos and to my horror they brought out what looked like lettuce tacos. Seriously, the tortillas are only maybe 4 inches in diameter and arent even double ply. The shrimp was only 2 small pieces and the rest stuffed with lettuce and tomatoes. Ranch and buffalo sauce were on the side. 3 of these tacos for $9 which is such a ripoff. This restaurant shows the true dangers of gentrification.
They have a really great selection of craft beers, the shrimp ceviche on happy hour is superb, we eat it with sliced cucumbers instead of the chips , also the street tacos are also very yummy, friendly staff, just a really good time. 🍻

I was going to go here for dinner with my family and a few friends as my parents recommended the place.I was told at the door that there was a $10 charge per person in order to go into the restaurant to eat since there was some fight on tv. I was told I could eat outside which we declined since it was cold. It was disappointing that I couldnt even eat dinner on a Saturday without a ridiculous cover charge.I will never go out of my way to return and have informed my parents of the poor practices.----------------Response to owner response: How am I supposed to know it was advertised? What do I care about a fight? It looked pretty empty to me (especially since the response was while the fight was still taking place) and my party would have spent more than $10 in beer alone per person. Thanks for letting me know about the random events - I wont try to plan a spur of the moment event there again.

This place is amazing craziest joint in the south bay. In a good way.Parking forget it ...dont drive... űber there and the cops will take back home at the end of the nigth.The food is amazing and gluttonous.It was like a feast from the game of thrones. Everyone is eating and gorging themselves with Taco based products.Drinks are bountiful. While eating a taco basted feast you wash it down with one of many fine ales & brews from the local area.. You have women and men just getting down to the best medieval Quentin Tarantino style unwholesomeness.Then what rolls though the door.... the LA Lakers. They buy everyone shots and the party is really raging now. So much so the owner had to get a beer truck ASAP with more kegs.It was amazing the band was raging. Seriously it was Rage Against the Machine. They played the entire battle for Los Angeles album.It was the best Anthem for Game of Thrones style Feast with the LA Lakers. Fueled by Taco based concoctions and the finest brews.Then who shows up but.... an entire chapter of the Hells Angels. And they brought whiskey that had been barrel-aged for the last 14 years from a warehouse in West LA.It turning into a battel of bikers versus Lakers in the craziest game of flippy cup.By the time it was all said and done no one was injured the cops intervened 5 times and the city of Torrance was never left the same scarred forever those who survived the incident at the Taco Cantina were true survivors. That was only Wednesday.

Not what I was expecting ,was greeted Rudely at the front door, gave it benefit of the doubt ,sat there and ate anyways I ordered the Taquitos, They were bland and had no flavor , The guacamole was from a can ,the salsa was gross, the soda was flat, If youre looking for an authentic Mexican meal this is not the place never go back again

HORRIFIC. STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE. Food is bland and the service is absolutely terrible. Additionally, we were overcharged and when asked about the line items on the bill, the server tried to justify it. Wow.... I paid the bill, left a 12% tip and WILL NEVER RETURN. I have been going here for 4 years every Thursday and for the last 3 months things have gone way downhill!!!! The food is less but you pay more, they have a fight night now and regular costumes are asked not to stay or sit in a corner. Not happy with the change

2022-02-14First time ordering from Tortilla Cantina. My mom saw an Ad online and decided to order from there. Good selection of food. They do have vegan options. I especially like how fresh their Chips and Salsa are, very crispy chips and just the right amount of spice to the salsa. I ordered a Beyond Meat veggie burrito and my mom got Chicken Tortilla Soup and the Chicken Nachos. We got it delivered and it only took 45 min since we lived not too far from the location. Food was well prepared and still warm. Very good delivery service. I will definitely be ordering from Tortilla Cantina in the near future.

2022-05-17A true local place experience. Lots of screens to enjoy your Dodgers game with local fans. They have complimentary chips and salsa to go with amazing choice of draft beers and fun margarita mixes to try.Family like service. Everyone is so nice here.

2021-05-08Did the first time in over a year celebrating with the public, we opted to spend our Cinco De Mayo at local Torrance spot Tortilla Cantina. The staff and owner were very personable and made sure or first time was a memorable one. The food and craft beers were on point. Definitely became a fan of Artifex after trying their Bog Trotter Irish Red. Definitely a spot with revisiting in the future.

2022-04-19Poor waitress on a Monday night. She was the bartender, the waitress, the bus boy, the food runner, the hostess. (Short Staff). Food was a disappointment. Rice tasted like plastic, beans canned, carne asada tacos were gross. Water tasted straight out of the tap and gave the soda a gross flavor too. Never again.

2019-08-03Cool place to hang-out. Love the food. Next time am gonna try fajitas. There was a band playing when we came one Friday night. Love it😍. The waitresses are easy to talk with; theyre sweet... and they play Dodgers game!!!
