I use this store all the time for returning Amazon items and the notary service. Never had a problem; even when busy (usually weekends so plan ahead if you are in a big rush, just saying- its a small store) its never an unreasonably long wait and the staff have always been friendly and helpful to me and my husband. I have to send back something this week and given other options to do that, I still choose here.
Made an appointment online for the notary service and when I got there I was informed that the notary person was on lunch and that they dont accept appointments only walk ins. I tried to talk to them and ask them why it allowed me to make the appointment for that location and gave me a confirmation number. I showed him the confirmation number and he said showing me that is not going to do anything The employee was very unapologetic and didnt seem to care if he kept a customer or not. I wasnt expecting the person to come form lunch to assist me, I was just simply trying to talk the guy about it. I also went to ship a package last week and the price was insane. $50 for a medium sized box that wasnt very heavy. So both times I went there they lost my money. I wont be going back even though it is close to my home. Ill be going else where even for my free amazon returns.
This place is terrible. There is a reason it isnt at 5 stars. This place wants to charge 5 extra dollars for packages you have dropped at their store that COME from UPS. Even UPS says they arent supposed to do this but being a franchise they CHOOSE to tag on a 5.00 bill to a package you have dropped at their store. Which there IS NO CHARGE FOR. I had already paid for Express shipping and it was coming from UPS. This owner wants to charge 5.00 just to hand you YOUR BOX...Not everyone has this extra money in these times. Box was returned because the held for ransom and I wasnt paying their extortion fee. THAT EVEN THEIR CORP OFFICE SAYS THEY ARENT SUPPOSED TO BE CHARGING..The attitude of the people there is aggressive and confrontational. SKIP THIS STORE. There is a reason they 3.4
Save yourself the time and don’t come here. If I could give this place a 0 I would. The store was not open when I arrived a little after 9, although the store hours day open from 9am. The employee showed up 10 minute late, and proceeded to make the customers wait saying that she has never opened the store before, and her coworker was supposed to be here? Further, I was unable to pick up my package because the employee didn’t know how to start up the system for me to do so. The employee informed me that the other employee who supposedly knows how to work the system would be here in 5 minutes, but never arrived. Meanwhile the line continues to grow and customers start leaving because the line is so long. I ended up waiting for ONE HOUR although I was at the store even before the store opened. This location is really not sustainable as a UPS location, they can’t even provide their basic services and have decent customer service.

Called 3 times at 8:40 on a Monday morning - no one answered, just an answering machine that you cant leave a message on. I have a package that I left Saturday morning that tracking shows it wasnt picked up as it was supposed to be and wanted more info on what was going on - so much for that.Update: I called back at about 10am and someone answered, but put me on hold. Left me there for 20 minutes until I hung up and called back.Store staff are nice when you are there (parking does stink) but this store needs to look at how it handles phone customers.
Went in a couple weeks ago to ship some breakable items and was planning to pack it up myself but Im so glad I didnt because had I done it, Im sure the gift to my friend would have been broken upon arrival. Arishma kindly inquired about what I was shipping, asked if I wanted help and packed it up for me; very well, might I add. Arishma was very kind and helpful and also to the point - I received great service at this UPS all thanks to Arishma.

2022-07-21Hello? I am the sender that is referenced in your previous three page response. First of all… any basic digital marketing person would know the rule of not responding to your online reviews unless there is something super egregious. Anyway, as the sender, the entire experience sucked. I’m not gonna lie. The store was being run by a guy who was as rude as possible and told me he was “doing me a favor” by taking the information. It was awful from the start, and thru out. The owner told me she sent a check out and when it never arrived she made excuses. Since the experience I have used them a few other times. They are close to my home and hence my reason for doing so. In my recent experience in her store, there has been a decided lack of professionalism or customer service. They will make you stand there for 20 minutes and never offer a word. How about….. I see you. I will be right with you. Nothing. Nada. Zip. Then when you do teach the desk, the snotty monotone voice asking me a series of questions was annoying. Good god woman, you pride yourself on owning these stores and spend hours responding to reviews. How about using that time by actually being in the store and overseeing and coaching your employees. I mean? Anyway the first experience above was awful. It ruined Christmas for my boyfriend, and not much has changed since then. There is much work to be done in your store. Do it.

2022-07-20Efficient and helpful. I’m always surprised how quickly I get out even when the line is long. Generally, I bring packages ready to go, but I have seen staff build boxes around specialty items to help other customers get shipping costs down.

2022-07-21Update- Look at the bs response the owner posted. Maybe if you dealt with issues like you took the time to write so long of an excuse you wouldn’t have any issues. You fixed my computer- NO, I had to take it to Apple, I had to waste MY time and I had to pick it up.They broke my computer and it was a beyond a hassle to get fixed. They put a iMac face down with a bunch of bubble wrap that didn’t cover the screen. The screen was cracked, smh. Thank the stars above that I purchased insurance. The employees obviously don’t know how to package stuff. The manager says “I just work here”. The owner doesn’t care because she just makes up excuses about not being able to find good help and lies about the insurance process to get my computer fixed. Use fedex!

2022-07-14Trying to schedule a pick up or even see if that’s possible however, eight calls in a row later after being hung up on immediately following employee obviously picking up, still no response whatsoever. I wish I could give zero stars as I have not even been there yet and they are the closest one to me I must go there as in don’t have a choice but I already am disgusted by the lack of any sort of professionalism or care when it comes to their phones. Boo!

2020-10-15Had an occasion to visit The UPS Store today, needed a document Notarized and overnighted to the East Coast. The customer service was outstanding. The Notary suggested I contact the company requesting the notarized documents for a clarification and doing so saved us $60 in fees. The customer service mailing the documents overnight was equally outstanding. Do yourself a favor, if you need any service The UPS Store at this location can provide, do not hesitate to check them out. 2022-04-14I was turned away because i didnt have the return label on the box, just a picture of it on my phone and an email.. It was in its original packaging. The guy said send an email of the label and they could print one. Lets just say i left with the package still in my possesion, but i guess its my fault for choosing a place that doesnt scan codes or anything.

2022-07-24Terrible hours. Not open on weekends. Have showed up during posted hours and closed for no reason. Frequently under staffed. Seems like a part time business set up.

2021-09-09I went to the UPS Store today to get a live scan completed. The employee there stated that they havent provided live scan services in over 2 years and told me to go to a different UPS Store. He told me that the nearest one is on S street and told me to google it and brushed me off. Ive told him that I tried several times to call them and they said they were busy. When I was was there, there were only two people besides me there. Poor customer service and I wish they would close this store since they dont provide good customer service.Reply for SukhI didnt have issues with the S Street Store it was this one on Freeport.

2021-08-24Two rude teens or young adults in there that are not helpful, and refused to put me in contact with a manager when I was not having their attitudes. If I could give a zero I truly would. I also am reporting this store location, not managed properly at all
