The staff is always helpful and extremely friendly. This is my favorite location because of the welcoming atmosphere and how organized the whole store is. Gonzalo always makes sure to greet me as soon as I walk in and asks if I need any assistance as well as Daniel. I wish I knew all of the cashiers names (Elaine is one!) because they’re also what add to the great experience I have every time I shop there. I really appreciate that.
If you enjoy going to thrift stores to find cute clothes at an affordable price, this place is no longer worth your time! This used to be one of my favorite thrift stores and I would come here regularly but they just changed the prices so you can still find cute items but you’re gonna pay $20 or more per item that used to be like $5 because it’s now considered a “boutique item”. Super lame. I’d rather just get something new online in that case lol
Good furniture store. Always have a good variety of furniture and they are motivated to move it. The manager, Gonzalez totally hooked us up with the price we wanted. Special discount days and discount card available. Well organized. Inventory always changes.

Prices are a bit high not a lot of interesting things. Some workers and nice others aren’t one time I needed help ask a lady where I could find something and she said “I’m not working right now” I wasn’t asking for much I just wanted her to point me to the direction. The other store in front is only clothes which is better than the other one the staff are nicer their and the prices are ok. They have this thing were they put the price then they put the color of the discount and at the end they give you a better price
The place has been remodeled and looks great. Met the manager Gonzalo who introduced himself after saying hello. The cashier Anita? Was super friendly. I was pleasantly surprised to get this kind of great service at a thrift store.

They remodeled the stores it looks really organized but the prices went up a lot! I saw a lot of clothing items For 20-25 dollars which for a thrift store is not reasonable at all. Overall the store is good but prices are too high.

Great store, found a nice Ukelele guitar and a nintendo wii for a good price. The team is very helpful and the management does an awesome job. Gonzalo is an awesome manager, he know alot about electronics and helped me with a TV setup as well. Thank you guys!!
I had a nice experience when I went to the Chula Vista Salvation Army Family Store not only did I got interesting books, but, I also got this lovely luggage at a bargain thanks to Gonzalo who helped me with the pricing. Thank you Gonzalo.
Big giant store that is full of good bargains. I picked up a set of pots and pans here that are great! I swing by here now and then when I am in this area visiting family.

Well lately they have 50% off specials but the prices in the merchandise that was given to them are over priced. So in reality your paying full price and more. Waiting for response from corporate to see whats the issue with the overpriced stuff. Also the computer generated price is blacked out and then written in with price. Like they are making the price up.

When you take your donations in. The guy there is so helpful in unloading your goods. Inside the store they are friendly. Nice place to find a deal.

I had an awful experience today todays Wednesday and Im supposed to be able to utilize their new discount system and I have gone to this store already and gathered over 10 points towards my discount I have more than enough points to participate in todays discount of 75% off items 10 days or older but at this store it seems like theyre taking all the tags off of the items that are 10 days are older and not only that but today is the 5th and they have marked all the new items July 7th so that is cheating and then all the nice mens boots they took the tags off of them and wrote the price in marker so you dont know what color the tag was or what the date is I talked to the manager Gonzalo who seem to be aware of the fact and might even be participating in this scandal what a waste of time why bother Gathering the points to use towards your discount if theyre pulling all the tags that are 10 days or older that is such a cheat; (

Worst service Ive had in a long time. The 3 men that were putting clothes out in the womens section kept talking in Spanish and goofing around. One of them kept staring at me and walking in whatever aisle I was in. Super creepy.

2022-04-02Excellent! It takes getting used to one building, then the other.. purchased things at both..made me tired.... extremely long day..had picked up a replacement computer..but.. WONDERFUL People! Employees, and MOST of the Customers. I didnt spend more than my budget, but.. have cool new-ish stuff :-)

2020-08-26They recently changed how they price items. Been shopping here for years and always enjoyed their prices until now. You can get better deals at Ross/TJ max and those items are brand new! For a 100% profit business they have gotten to greedy for me to shop here anymore.

2022-03-04Clothes located in a separate building from everything else. This allows more room for browsing. Nice book selection, cups, glasses, and kitchen ware galore. Great prices...Fun trip!

2021-04-12Chula Vista has the two stores at the one location, one for clothing and the other for everything else. I was looking for a furniture item so I didnt go in the clothing store. They have flip flopped the stores was the first thing I noticed. There were very few furniture items probably due to no pick-ups right now due to Covid-19. New flooring but uneven in places. Good selection of kitchen items and store was clean. Cashier was friendly. Music was too loud for my taste. I dont expect to have to talk over music unless I am at a music venue. When l am shopping I enjoy low volume background music. This was loud enough to make me want to hurry up and leave. I would like to add that the Salvation Army is my charity of choice for their many worthwhile programs and the amount of every dollar that goes to their programs exceeds most other charities.
