The Right Choice HVAC team did a fantastic job on my house. They completed all the ductwork in fairly short order and did a great job making it as inconspicuous as possible. Their work passed inspection without comment. They installed a new furnace, AC unit, tankless water heater, and gas lines to the stove and BBQ area. I would not hesitate for a moment to use The Right Choice HVAC for my next HVAC project.

If I could give this company zero stars I would. I had a technician come out to my home on 10/29/21 because my AC stopped working. I paid $65 for the service call. I was told there was a leak in the coil and it would be around $3900 to fix it. The technician michael was very nice but he gave me the total wrong information, I was told the coil on my unit was 14 years old and no longer under the manufactures warranty, after multiple calls requesting for a written estimate I was told the coil is 7 years old and is in fact under warranty but is discontinued and wil be about $500 for the part. I still to this day have not received an actual quote. I am not sure why unless I am still being given false information. Its ridiculous to pay a company to come out for a service call and never even receive a simple written quote. So I will know be forced to pay another company to come out and do the same thing. Please save your time and money and steer clear of these guys. I have been promised multiple times that I would receive a quote by the end of the day and it now going on 2 months. Just ridiculous. Also please take the time to read the reviews under the not recommended section. It will definitely give you a more accurate picture of what this company is all about.
I recently moved into a new house and wanted to know what type of HVAC system and general quality we had in the house, along with our first annual maintenance. Josh was great with communication prior to arriving and patiently explained what he was looking at when conducting the maintenance. This company has been terrific since Ive dealt with, particularly Sean. My A/C unit is picky about what the weather does, and what people do to it. He as been a master of diagnosis and fix-it if possible. Even though not a technician he intelligent, and more than capable of being walked through a problem on the phone if he cannot diagnose it himself. He and the company have worked with me to solve some sticky problems, and I would highly recommend both Sean and TRC for your a/c-heating needs. They are honest, and fair in their estimates, and try to help their customers in the best ways they can.
I couldn’t be happier with literally going with the RIGHT CHOICE. Michael came out to give us an estimate for a full ac system and he was so professional and knowledgeable, we were very impressed. After receiving a few other estimates I felt the best connection with him because of his honesty, patience and professionalism. Michael kept us appraised throughout the whole process and really made us feel like we could trust him and the company. He listened to our concerns and provided us with the best solution for our needs. The installers were very easy to communicate with, we’re courteous, and cleaned up everything. I had a good feeling with Michael and the right choice from the start and they really did prove me right. I highly recommend and I will definitely be using them in the future.

During an epic heatwave in August 2020, the 30+ year HVAC system we had broke. The Right Choice HVAC arrived on time for the estimate the next day and installed the new system for us the same week. Their team was punctual, professional, wore masks the entire time, and cleaned up very well after the job. The new HVAC system has been working flawlessly and we could not be happier. We recommended The Right Choice HVAC to a family member who also replaced the system at his home with this same company.
Frankly, I was not 100% satisfied with their service. Here is whyFirst, according to their technician, both contactor and capacitor needed to be replaced, estimated at over $900 dollars.When I asked about the price how it is so expensive, the technician glossed over and did not specifically explain how much the parts cost and labor calculation come out to be. He did not give me a clear explanation of this ridiculous estimation. Through quick internet research, I learned that the average price for the exact parts in our A/C unit were between $30 to $50 and it would cost me around $300-400 in total replacement. So I hurried and called the office to cancel.Second, the problem with our A/C was not both contactor and capacitor but only capacitor.I understand their technician might have suggested the service more than it is needed to be safe, but he did not explain my options.According to the other technician who came and repaired our A/C only replaced the capacitor by explaining to me that cause of my A/Cs malfunction is that the unit required a 45 voltage capacitor. The one I had was 40, so obviously it would shorten the power A/C needed. I didnt have to worry about the contactor. He explained to me that when the contactor goes bad, it would make a really loud noise. I appreciated it when people explain to me so I can better judge things on my own.Third, their technician told me that he would upgrade my capacitor for free. This is where I got really disappointed.Giving me an overpriced estimation was not enough, he deceitfully mentioned as if he was doing me a favor.For these reasons, I have lost the credibility of their company.I regret paying them so much for misleading diagnosis and unprofessional information.With temperatures above 100s, I had to endure the price of choosing their company throughout this week.Please stop taking an advantage of peoples trouble. You can be better than that.UPDATE: 8/21/2021They emailed me and gave me refund of $71.76 which was paid for diagnosis fee. They told me that the technician is stop working. So I am bumping up from 1 star to 2 stars.
Poor service. The guy did not do a proper check on my unit. He just assume that my problem is this and I have to spend a lot of money for the part that I don’t need. Good thing I have a second opinion. Now my AC is working fine. A piece of advice always ask for 2nd opinion because it always help just like what happen to me.
The right choice came out for a same day service call because my a/c was not going on the tech who arrived was positive and polite and explained in detail how come it was not working and made sure that I understood what was wrong with my unit come to find out it was a bad capacitor Once the tech changed it my system was up and running again. I will recommend this company to all my friends and family . Thank you right choice !

I called the company and spoke to estimator, who was most professional, knowledgeable, helpful and very kind. I was inquiring about a new air conditioning unit. She made an appointment for a technician to come out, who was also very professional and knowledgeable. He offered some options, for which I was grateful for. My experience was great and I would highly recommend this company.

The right choice installed a new AC unit only 4 years ago and has had problems every year since, mostly electrical issues. We had an electrician take a look and their assessment was the AC unit they choose was too powerful for our 2 BR condo. Either they have really poor assessment skills or they wanted to up sell us on a larger unit...wasting our money in the process.With the latest occurrence, the condenser unit broke and it was very difficult to schedule an appointment with one of their techs. How does a major part break in 4 years?! I called on a Tuesday an they couldn’t schedule anything until the next Monday. I explained to them that our tenants had a newborn and needed a working unit to combat the heatwave. Nothing. They couldn’t swing an earlier appointment. I ended up hiring another company that was able to come a lot sooner.The Right Choice is the worst company I’ve ever had to deal with (IRS included). Stay away from them, I’m sure there are much better alternatives...they are not cost effective, dishonest and unskilled.

We bought a brand new manufactured home in Madrid Manor in March. As part of the purchase a new air conditioner was to be installed. The realtor who sold us the house refused to install it until right before we closed so the home inspector never saw the set up. After the first couple times we ran the air we noticed warped floor boards in our hallway. Not knowing for sure what caused them but suspecting water we called another plumbing company to take a look. Right Choice tech installed the drain in the condensation pan so it was going uphill instead of downhill so the pan wasnt draining and was flooding the subfloor. Now we have a warped floor in a brand new home and Right Choice knows about it. They sent a tech out. Its going to cost several thousand to fix it and, of course, they have not communicated with us since they found out. Im planning to sue. They ruined my dream home with their incompetence!!! Dont use these guys!!!!!
I hired this company The Right Choice to do a complete HVAC system install including new air ducts. The following day after the old asbestos ducts were removed, a three man team consisting of Hector, Luis, and Giovani came over to install all the new equipment. All three were very knowledgeable and professional and didnt mind answering any questions I had.Im very happy with the completed job and will definitely recommend this company to anyone needing HVAC related work.
This company is a 100% The Right Choice!My heater stopped working on Monday and since then Ive been getting quotes to fix it its only 6 years old I had few other companies here before them and each one said its was a big repair between $250-$800The Right choice came by for a $65 service call checked the furnace and told me it was a fuse ($3 fuse) they replaced the fuse for no extra charge and the furnace is working again like new!They are honest and real and very very knowledgeableThank you The right choice!
I got a call from a representative from the right choice who offered me a promotion they were having at the time i was a little hesitant at first but thought i would give them a shot . when Steve arrived at my home i was very impressed on how neat and professional he was i love the fact that when he cleaned my ducts he explained to me how important it is to do so and all my questions were answered at the time .I am going to recommend them to all my friends and all my family .On 5/10/2017 got a follow up call from the right choice to let me know it was time to do the service not only did they honor there price from last yr but did a wonderful job once again thank you right choice will stay with you guys for many years
I called in for a service call yesterday Feb. 16 and was greeted by May who was so helpful and personable in getting my information. She told me that I would be hearing back from her as soon as the next days schedule was completed and around 6:30 pm May called me back to tell me that a service tech would be at my house between 11 am and 1 pm... To my surprise The Right Choice van pulled into my driveway at 10.00 am and when I saw Michael, I knew my problem would be fixed. Michael was here just after the initial installation and did some fine tuning. The issue with my unit was with the wiring and Michael had to re-locate the thermostat and re-wire the device. Working fine now and all this was done at no charge. I want to tell David that he has some great employees there that care about and are very concerned about customer satisfaction and I would highly recommend The Right Choice for any Heating or Air Conditioning work that you may need.

My AC went out in the middle of this heat were having called The Right Choice, they were very fast and responsive to my request. They sent somebody out the same day! Their installer by the name of Cody came out and was the most helpful and honest employee I might have ever met. He didnt try to sell me and tell me I had to buy a whole new system like any other salesman or installer would. He went straight to the thermostat, from there up into the attic, after fixing the problem he came down sweating bullets to tell me what was wrong. All he ended up charging me was a small service fee for coming to check out the problem and so I definitely had to tip him! The Right Choice is an honest company with hard working employees, if you ever have any AC or heat problems you should absolutely call The Right Choice and ask for Cody!
The Right Choice Heating and Air came to my house at 7pm on very hot evening. My A/C had stopped working i called them the same day they showed up very clean,neat, and professional. It was only a matter of minutes and they figured out a contactor was bad. No problem for them to do the repair they had the part installed it and my system has not given me any problems since then. I highly recommend them to all friends and family.
So glad I took advantage of that promotion they were offering. My ducts are clean, my system is running better than before, and I dont have to get it inspected or cleaned for over a year. My AC recently blew and its been super! hot in Chatsworth recently, almost unbearable. I am a new homeowner and apparently when buying this house I didnt know how to check if the heating and AC was in good condition before buying the house. I looked online and I knew a repair would be very expensive since my system is 25 years old. I first called an HVAC guy I knew (not the right choice) who threw me a ridiculous estimate and I immediately I said thanks and politely asked him to leave.I proceeded to search yelp for the highest rated HVAC guys in the SFV and THANK GOD I found The Right Choice. After the guys from TRC came out to look at my system they explained to me how I could easily pay for an entire new system using the HERO program with very low monthly payments with added tax benefits. Best part of it was MY ELECTRIC BILLS ARE NO LONGER $300 A MONTH!!! The new AC they installed is the most efficient and cut my summer electric bills in half. I really was in shock, the Right Choice promised and stood by it. Without them I wouldnt have been able to afford an new full system, Id still be running the stand alone AC units inside my home. They helped me through all the paperwork and made it incredibly easy for me and were VERY nice. They walked me through the whole process of HERO and the installation of the new system, showing me pictures of how the work would be done, I knew I could trust these guys. Its hard to find a reliable heating and AC company these days and The Right Choice has my business hands down. The guy from The Right Choice was very nice on the phone so I booked the repair for Friday.The technician Ruben came and was very professional. On Saturday another AC company was called and they said we needed a new mother board, at a cost of $750.00. That company appeared to be thorough. When The Right Choice came today they determined that we needed only a new capacitor, and the total cost was $250.00. I recommend this company to anyone as they are fast, professional, and fixed our problem for a lot less then a competitor would have fixed it.
I previously wrote a review stating that I was dissatisfied with Right Choice because of the fact they left items outside that they had removed when they were replacing our heating ducts. I spoke to Spencer and he was very apologetic and asked what he could do for me as the reviews both negative and positive are important to them. We agreed on a solution and I would like rescind my negative review and am now satisfied
Jay was excellent. He checked everything and went out of his way to explain the reasons why our air conditioner was not working and to offer up alternatives. We will definitely use Right Choice again and will be in touch to buy a new air conditioning unit. Thank you.
This company has the absolute worst customer service. They first rescheduled my appointment, then didn’t show up, then claimed they called and left a message (but didn’t). Their “customer service manager” was rude and yelling on the phone and made up lies about what had occurred. Avoid this company. They are a complete waste of your time. If I could rate below one star, I would.
Our AC stopped working right in the middle of the Summer last year and we live the worst days you can ever imagine! We called different companies but The Right Choice offered the most reasonable prices. They sent Reuben a few hours later, and told us exactly what was wrong , he didnt try to up sell us anything but he did explained everything in detail so that we could make the right decisions, I guess the right choice is right when it comes to your AC needs!
I wish I could give this company no star. I called this company because my AC was not working. A technician came, looked around, looked at my attic and suggested that Im low on Freon. The technician also saw one of the copper tubing icing and said most likely your air duct is clogged that is why pressure is building and copper tube is icing. He suggested to replace the whole air duct and put more insulation to make it more efficient. I asked how much and he said $6,500. That is a lot of money! I asked him will that solve the problem? He said yes and value of my house could also increase because of the new air duct system. Everything was installed and my AC still didnt work properly. They sent another technician to look at it and told me that air duct was not really the issue because the copper tubing was still icing and air duct is huge in diameter so theres no way it would clogged up. The guy worked on the AC system itself, which the first guy didnt even open. It took them three days to finally make the AC working. But now, the AC is dripping water to the point that I cannot use it unless I put towel and keep on replacing it. And now they are saying coil is broken. They are charging me another $1,500 to fix it. I called the guy who initially suggested I need air duct system and he said theres no way for him to know that that was broken. According to him, its a process of elimination. I was like, process of elimination? You made me spend $7,000, and its a process of elimination? If he checked the AC unit, open it in the first place he would have known I need the coil and not new air duct system. Anyway, I agreed to them installing a new coil they gave me the time, they said between 5pm to 7pm, I said ok. I left work early, around 6:30pm, I received a call from them and said they couldnt make it. I was really upset. I told them since I came to work three times and left work early one time, I will not going to do it again. I told them they can fix it on weekends, just let me know when. Couple of weeks have passed and no call. I finally called them and cancel the additional work. Now, their funding department been calling me, bugging and telling me to sign the completion document that HERO sent so they can get funded. She was like Its been too long and this should have been funded long time ago! I asked her Do you know that my AC had issues and still not fix? and she said No! She didnt care. Oh, by the way, I have never see the technician who suggested I needed air duct again to fix the issues I was having. I dont know if the guys they send initially are sales people and not technician. It has been a month now and my AC is still not working properly!
After recieving a call from a young man about the yearly maintence for heating and a/c I was honestly skeptical about this offer but I figured I would give them a fair chance and set up an appointment.The Right Choice HVAC showed promptly on time and performed an amazing service just as I was offered over the phone. Many other times I had been miss lead and disappointed with the service provided by other companies but that is the not case with The Right Choice. I will be more then happy to reffer my friends and family to The Right Choice. Very Happy Customer !!!!!!
Tommy was wonderful. Very thorough and very polite. He explained everything completely and understandably. He informed us of everything we should be concerned about and made repairs that were simple to fix. I hope to use his services again. When we can make things happen, we will definitely call on him.
Tech named Jay came out as we called them 2 days ago about AC fan with constant spinning noise when on. Jay came out near the end of their 2 hour window (10-12) and complained it was hot in the attic.. My wife was home while I was at work. Jay turned on AC and went up into attic for about 2 minutes, then came down from attic and stated the AC blower motor is damaged & needs replacement. Jay provided an estimate to my wife of $1500 even with the AC under warranty for parts. Then stated they would credit us about $700 once the bad motor was returned to MFG & after checking, Jay stated the motor was not in stock with a 2 week back-order. What non-sense he was feeding us. After my wife called and told me all this, I had her pay Jay for the diagnosis/visit and dismiss him. I called a Trane supplier in Glendale who had the motor in stock. I also called Mike at A Subcool AC in Van Nuys, CA. and he provided an estimate of $400 over the phone from my description of the problem, then came out the next morning at 8AM(on time), troubleshoot and fixed the AC Fan which was off balance and off alignment for $300. Done in less than one hour. Clearly, Jay and Right Choice Heating & Air were trying to take advantage of my wife and I; such lack of honesty and professionalism. I would never recommend this company.

David and his partner Rudolpho came yesterday to my house and did troubleshooting to my system because my AC wont work so David find out that the compressor is bad and since its very old system I decided that it would be for the best if Ill replace it with the new system therefore David gave me a few options to go in and like always Im listening to David because Im been working with for so long and I trust him a lot Long story short The right choice installed my new condenser today :) and works amazing the install looks really really good very clean and its very quiet thank you guys again thank you David I appreciate all your help and all of your hard work Im definitely going to recommend David and the right choice every single time highly recommended and thanks a lot Guys I appreciate it!!And very satisfied !!

Over bid a job in November, havent payed the difference. Been calling for the past six months and been told the check is on the way. Steve Weismann has been dodging my calls for the last month. Rude customer service when contacted and still no call back. Unfortunately the techs are great and have to deal with weak management.
Our Packaged unit Air conditioning & Heating stopped working on a very unusual cold day in Los Angeles. My wife called several companies in attempt to get this fixed immediately but no company could send a technician for same day estimate/repair.We found The Right Choice on Google and called them they promised that a technician will show up in about 2-3 hours which made me feel that something is wrong, How come that no other company can send a technician same day and they can? anyway It was very cold so we waited to the technician that appear about the same time as promised.unfortunately we found a very serious problem with the AC Unit and it needed to be replaced. unbelieved the technician coordinate with his office and another Technician with a new unit in the van showed up and they replaced my AC SAME DAY!!!unbelievable that companies this days will provide such a fast accurate and low cost service.I highly recommend The RIght Choice HVAC as your Heating & Coolling contractor
What a mess... After way overcharging us for an AC unit I explained to our sales agent that we have a furnace separate from our AC and that the thermostats need to stay separate. They combined everything so nothing worked. We are now waiting for a second follow-up as our hook up is not correct. The installers also refused to provide any information as to how the system worked and were rude.
The Right Choice is The Right Choice!!!!Adir and Felipe were highly recommended by my brother in law and they sure did a fantastic job! Cleaned the Ducts and did a special deep cleaning service for our blower! They even replaced out thermostat to a big display thermostat with a backlight!

After our old system finally went out I decided it was time to start thinking about getting a replacement. I got a few estimates from companies out here in the valley including The Right Choice which I eventually decided to go with. Not only did I get exactly what I wanted in a timely manner these guys displayed a level of professionalism that way exceeded my expectations.
My ac kept stopping every 20 minutes and i found the roght choice on yelp. They came out and fixed my system right away. Elan and giovanni took apart the system and explained everythimg very clearly. They were clean proffessional and timely. I recommend to others their service. They knew exactly what the system needed and got it done with a great price.

Im in San Diego and contacted this company for an estimate. Never heard one single word back from them. It was a $13K HVAC install now being done by Anderson Heating and Air. Guess they dont need the money.

My husband scheduled an estimate for Right Choice to come out and take a look at our air conditioning, someone came out, took a look said it would be about $3k to fix and scheduled a time on Wednesday from 8am-10am to come out and fix it. That’s not the problem, come Wednesday, no one shows, no one communicates, NOTHING. He’s on hold with a receptionist for 30 min and she has no answers because only the manager has the schedule and they weren’t in at the time. (Ummm?weird) So my husband asks for a call back, and NO CALL. I called, no one picks up. He calls 10+ more times. NO ONE PICKS UP. I get it, it’s the middle of summer and it’s busy, but at least COMMUNICATE with us what’s going on and CALL BACK. We will be going elsewhere, but not before I leave a nasty review everywhere I can. Yelp, google, your website, and whatever else I can find. 👋🏼
The name is right !!The right choice Was the best selection to make I yelped and did reviews I was only looking for the best and I got them , shout out to David and Rudy to very nice and sincere young gentleman that came to install my conducter in the attic and were very nice in telling me detail of the steps they were going to take to clean the air flows they were the right choice.
I had a full deep wash cleaning done to my system by Polly and his helper Phellipe and had a air scrubber installed due to my allergies and wow what can I say!! Its been a week since it was done and I sure do feel the diffrence! Thanks guys! Highly recommended

The furnace stopped working suddenly. We called the Right Choice and they sent Ruben. Ruben noticed that the furnace was very dirty. He cleaned it and all is working now. He also recommended yearly maintenance and we will do it for sure.

This place is so unprofessional. No one who works there has any clue about customer service and how you should treat your customers. Ive called multiple times regarding different things and the only person to ever give me a straight answer was a young man named Robert. Always polite.Now when i call they tell me that Robert no longer works there. The only person with straight forward answers regarding prices and services. The only reason i went for the service was because of that young man. Now i will strongly reconsider never using them again do to the professionalism of the staff as a whole.

Awful, the tech that came out knew nothing and had to walked through over the phone. He gave an incorrect analysis and then the company wouldnt even generate a quote or come out to repair. Awful experience.

2022-06-23If I could give this company zero stars I would. The skill from the tech that was sent out is sorry at best. I had to diagonose the issue for the tech. Once I suggessted various items to look at, his answer is always no. And than he has the nerve to want to charge me 7k for an new condenser. The condenser was not the issue, it was the run srart cap. $20 all fixed no issues. Stay away from this company!

2022-08-20WRONG CHOICE!Never use this company. They didnt show up to service their own installed unit less than 2 years old. Canceled at the last minute 3 days in row with lame excuses every time.Beware!!Paid them thousands to install a new unit and Im treated like garbage less than 2 years later.

2021-10-08They charged me $470 to replace a flame sensor, a $15 part. I get that theres labor costs, but when I had my cousin pose as another customer and ask them for a quote on what it would cost for the same unit to be diagnosed and fixed for a faulty flame sensor, they quoted $350. I called several other companies and asked them the same thing, and they quoted $200 to $325. So these guys were on the high end of several other companies, and they charged way more than they told a person in a similar situation. I had called these guys because my heater had been acting up for years, and I had called them out 2 years prior for the same thing but they couldnt figure it out then. But the service guy was nice, but two years later the heater was way worse so I gave them a second shot. They totally took advantage of my wife and I being really busy that day. The tech came out and within 15 minutes knew it was a faulty flame sensor. The part is $15, to charge us $470 for that is gross. I called the company and emailed them SEVERAL times to try and figure out why they charged so much, if it was an oversight or greed, and they never returned my calls or emails, even though they returned emails to other (fake) customers at that time when I was seeking a quote from them. Sad.

They are very organized, show up on time and do a quality job. Last week I contacted them on an emergency job with really short notice and they took care of me perfectly as usual. Michael Taib is my go to guy there and I couldn’t recommend him more. He’s honest, hard working and consistently goes above and beyond.
