A couple weeks ago my parents were doing home renovations and would often stop at this store. One day at check out they were paying with their home depot credit card and the employee working there manipulated them into applying for another home depot credit card because they are older and unaware. They were not told it was a credit card (which is illegal) and told it was a rewards system that would get them a discount. The employees working at this store are horrible people and will do anything to meet their quota. Horrible service all around.
Usually great. On my visit today I saw a clearance island with lamps and ceiling fans at up to 75 % off one lamp was $25 the other one $47 regular both at price. All lamps at 0% discount. If this is not false advertisement what is it? I even took a pic and asked wife to select one. I uploaded the second picture with her selection. I wasnt even planning to file this review. Cmon Home Depot, step it up.
Not sure where staff continues to walk to but one thing is clear never expect customer service to help load heavy items. This seems especially true if you are a woman. Multiple times my wife has had to pick up heavy items after waiting over 30 minutes for no help to arrive after being requested.
This is your typical home depot. Whenever I shop here, which is quite often as I am a diy-er, the items I seek are almost always in stock and they stock more than 75% of what Im looking for. Cant ask for much more than that because they are probably no farther away than 3 miles from home. Oh and also right next to a Walmart so I can stop there for milk & bread on the way home from home depot! Yay! Check me out! Now Im multi- tasking!! Hahaha!Life is grand!
This place is a constant disappointment. Ive called to check stock, Ive check stock on line, Ive asked the department specialist, and I get its here. But somehow someway when I get there they dont have it. I really dont like this store. When you get the managers involved and they arent sure or dont want to be bothered they just say oh well, I cant do anything for you. I just went in to pick up a special and Im talking to the lady in the tool department. She asks if she can help me and I said the website says your out of stock. Well she asks what I was looking for and I show her the deal and she says oh I can do that for you. I go to check out and nope, the manager says we cant do that. She says thats an on-line only special. Im literally showing them its both in-store and on-line but nope. Nothing for you. So why did she tell me that she could do it? The tool lady then says oh yeah, I cant do that price. Total waste of my time and very frustrated with the tool lady. Ill get it somewhere else.
Luis Garcia went above and beyond today! He helped me pick out what I needed for my house plants because I had no idea what I was doing. He was busy when I asked him a question but he stopped what he was doing to help me. He was so kind and had great customer service. Thank you, Luis!
I have received an RO system from iSpring water systems thru HDepot and received in good shape and notify me in a timely manner, the support received from iSpring was excellent! The guy in the support area Nick was of a tremendous help!, he sound knowledgeable and very polite. Thank you Nick for your support on this matter
This is a great store to shop at and they keep everything well stocked. Most all of the products are neatly arranged and organized on the shelves. The floors and restrooms are very clean. The associates are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable of their products. There are always lots of good sales which is nice.
Needed to buy a piece of glass for a project I was working on. When I checked online, it said the store inventory had 16 pieces available. When I went to the store there were zero in location that they were usually stored at. When I asked the lady in charge of that section to see if there are any available she wouldnt even get up of her chair or check in the computer to help me out. She said she is in charge of it and if its not there they do not have any. After going to the front of the store to the customer service window and asking to check their inventory they said there is 16 available but do not know where they are. After 30 minutes of wasting my time the only solution was to send me a different store as they had the item available.Terrible costumer service at this location. Just wasted more of my time with the help they offered. I have previously order stuff for pickup at this location just to find out that it isnt available when I showed up. Quick to take your money and only solutions they seem to have is to turn you around and send you to a different place. Save yourself the trip and find a different store for your needs.
Im light of covid-19, the facilities looked to be taking every precaution, even to the point of calling out customers who refused to wear their mask above the nose. The staff there are very knowledgeable about what they are selling and know just about where everything is. They are attentive to the needs of the customer and quick to respond. Over all, it was one of the best Home Depots Ive been to in a while.
There is a huge theft issue for tools in this store, luckily they were able to call another store and held what I wanted for me at customer service. Really liked that they did this, saved me trips from driving to all the home depots just to find what Im looking for. Thanks Rachel in IB!
Unfortunately, it was the worst experience I have ever had there. In the past, theyve always been very attentive and helpful. We asked for help 4 times, yet still waited for half an hour with no success. Finally, we went to customer service and asked to speak to the manager. Waited about 10 minutes, manager never showed, so we left.We ordered cabinets online for curbside pickup. Upon arriving home, we realized there were missing parts.When we called the store, we were told we needed to bring the cabinets back. At that point, we refused to take back the cabinets. Went back to the store, missing parts were set aside for us. I dont know if theres new management, new employees, or what was going on, but the service or lack there of was unexceptable.
The window service is not what I expected. The consultant was nice but some how my windows were very small and the installer tried their best to install them. Where is the communication with the installer? Where was the professional installer and the consultant that had the idea how to install my windows? Listen to the reviews. This guy dont communicate and keep blaming each other and the customer.
Not the best attention when buying sod for my garden. I went to buy fresh sod at 6:30am. I paid for a pallet of sod and asked if they could keep part of the pallet in case it didnt fit my SUV so I could to pick it up on a second trip. They said No, if you leave it there somebody else is going to buy it. No options, no solutions offered. Well, i had bought it already so probably they cant sell the same thing twice, can they?. All they had to do is put a paper saying sold next to it. Luckily finally it all fit in my car in one go. Nobody offered any help to load it. If you guys cannot offer an acceptable service at 6:30am, dont open that early.
Its home depot yall. Anything you need to improve your house, yard, and more. DIYers unite. Honestly one of my favorite stores, and I sometimes just come here for inspiration. Home Depot, please sponsor me, I will build a tiny home using only materials from Home Depot if you do.
First off Graicas to my boy Angel for helping me out with the screen door. I really wasnt sure if I was really going to make it to the pad with it. But over all I made it so Im happy that I was able to buy a new security door , by the grace of God. Hes first off the top.Thank you Home Depot for all that you have done for me a my family. My son got to mop up your floor the last time we were there together well at least with his shirt and pants 😆. We have had some great times in that store thanks to dad and his tools 😆 . I needed to buy a wheelbarrow and a pick. It was 9:35pm or so and as you know home Depot closes at 10pm.I was near the home Depot on Saturn in South San Diego, I parked and saw the wheelbarrows next to the entrance to home Depot.I chose one quickly but couldnt take it because it was chained together to other ones.I went inside to ask what I needed to do to get one. Do I pay before you remove the chain or do I get the bar code number and pay I asked.It was getting close to 10 so I assumed I was going to go back the next day.One of the team member said we had to take wheelbarrow inside store so they could scan it.She then paged someone through the PA system so they could help me.They were there right away, they removed the chain from the wheelbarrow.I was able to get the pick I also needed and met the attendant at the cashiers location. As I was walking out they were closing the store.It was a great experienceThank you very much,Raul Caro
Worst customer service experience at any home improvement store ever today. A dozen floor employees standing around talking to each other, not helping customers. When customers did get their attention, all of them sent everyone to the same two people. I left my cart and items there. Happy to spend my money elsewhere.
The star is for costumer service, went to store today as usual and realize that there is not much for costumer service walked around the Store must have walk past at least10 employees and not one asked if I need it help not a simple good morning, got to cashier and lady (carol) has the worst attitude and talked to me as if I was trying to steal stuff. I’m not much for human interaction but damn... then they wonder why people only wanna buy online or go to self check out....
I went online looking for 2 separate products. In each case, the website stated this product available in store. However, upon arrival at the selected store - neither product was available and the in-store clerk told me I had to order the items online?? So...which is it? I feel they need to be truthful up front and not dupe you into coming into the store. Just sayin..
The girl at Home depot, as soon as we walk in the door and took the bill payment was so nice and friendly she even took the tine to talk to us for a few minutes.. about a spanish word I heard her say that meant money keep your friendly beautiful smile always and thank you for a great visit.. Not as busy as I thought and not too much of a grill selection. Great customer service, which quite frankly you never find in these large warehouse stores. I was merely looking at a shelf when an associate asked me if I needed help. 30 years going to these type of stores and that has never happened.
Sad waiting for curbside pickup notice cart guy with his nose hanging out mask dont work that way.. had America flag hat on :(that isnt all but was kinda surprised that the other guy was wearing his mask right but failed to spray the Sanitizer on the large amount carts before returning to the cart spot right next to your front.. never coming back to your location... keep up your part in crowded areas like this we just might get back in the normal time sooner than later.. website said 19 bic lighters in stock but we get to your location to find out no more in Stock
Went for specific items. Could not find the ties for my garden vines. There is no one to help, EVER! Yes, I could have asked the cashier as I checked out but with a 3 year old in tow it was too late. We need someone in the department to help prior to the cashier saying did you find everything you need?.At that point most people are out of time or patience or both. Its a nice gesture, and our cashier was especially pleasant, just a delight. But again, at that point I had to leave the store.
The employees we asked for assistance, especially one lady, was very helpful and knowledgeable.The one guy my sister asked didnt let her finish her question and answered it correctly but I asked him the rest of her question.It was concerning paints and stains, which are located on different aisles.
Home Depot in south San Diego (just north of the corner of Saturn & Palm just west of I5) has many associates whore friendly, helpful available to answer questions or take you to the location where you can select the product you need. Even the new employees try their best to help or get the right associate to help. Great job managing and training. Kudos.
Home Depot is a candy store for men who like to work with their hands. They carry a variety of materials for all home/work projects. They also have home appliances, and an isle with household and industrial cleaning materials. Their garden has a variety of plants. Workers are friendly and helpful. They have bathrooms available for the customers and accessible handicap parking near the the garden area. Home Depot is the place to go for just about any home project.
Closest one to my house.........usually has what I need when something in the house breaks.........very rare do I have to go to another location..........many of the employees are nice and knowledgeable........been doing a lot of repairs to my dads houses lately..........my go to store for sure.......
The Pro services desk advertises satisfaction guaranteed but it seems to depend on who is satisfied. The gate that was built and installed at my home is, at best, amateur and grossly overpriced at $1600. At that price one should expect quality work. An inspector from Home Depot looked over the project and seemed to agree that it was not a professional job. The supervisor , who has not inspected the project, said that since carpenters are paid, according to her, $100. per hour, the price is not out of line. She has not seen the project. At the very least, that contractors name should be removed from their list. NEVER AGAIN.
If you know what you are looking for and HD has it and it is closer than other stores, it OK. I find that if you need advice Lowes and Dixieline is a better choice. I went this morning looking for a kitchen faucet, I explained to the sales rep what I looking for and he continued to show ones that would not work, and told me to read the discriptions, I said thank you and left HD and went to Dixiline and got a kitchen faucet with the help of the sales rep.
DO NOT COME HERE FOR THEIR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES. This is what they did to my door and left it hanging that way for over a month. Just look at the pictures. I PAID ALMOST $1800, for this? Not to mention the 3 days I had to take off work so far. I originally ordered a door from Home Depot on 4/26/2018 YES APRIL 26TH!! THE DOOR IS STILL NOT HERE! Then door came and when half way through demolishing the old frame they realized that the new door was the wrong size. Look at the pictures. Yes those are cuts on both sides of the frame and into the stucco. THEY WERE CUTTING MY OLD FRAME WITH A JIGSAW WHEN THEY REALIZED THIS! Their answer was to just throw a bunch of screws in the frame and call it good and left. After this I received no response or updates UNTIL I CALLED THEM COMPLAINING! There are clear holes to the outside from THE FRAME of the door and the door itself is only held on by a couple screws. Numerous calls and all I get is well we can have someone come by and put MORE screw in the frame and the expedited order is taking over a month. It’s taken longer than the original door did?!?! That is not expedited. This would be OK if it were a door inside my house. BUT THIS IS MY FRONT DOOR. LITERALLY THE ONLY THING KEEPING MY FAMILY SAFE FROM INTRUDERS WHEN IM NOT HOME! I HAVE A WIFE A KID AND DOGS! If someone wanted to get through my door in the condition it is in Im sure they would have no problem and I’m supposed to be OK with this? Im really upset how all of this was handled. No updates and seemingly no care or concern for how my house is doing. I will never come to home depot for work again. I am 100% certain that this would be completely unacceptable in their homes but its fine for mine to be like this I guess. I advise everyone to stay away. Get someone who actually cares to do the work for you.
5 stars to the guy that directed me to the saw horses when I realized I forgot them while I was in line, I didnt even ask, he over heard me tell my buddy and pointed me to em. For that reason this home depot gets 2 stars, its always super crowded with ride people who stand in the way and wont move when you are trying to get around them. Because of that Ill drive an extra couple of miles to go to the nice home depot off of H st.
This home depot is usually ok for me. However, some employees are very rude. Today (8/12) was the worst experience Ive had. I went to get a key cut. I bought the blank online since it was a design I wanted and people who have purchased them have had them cut at HD. So I take my key in and ask an employee for help. I hand her my key blank and she goes to stick it in the machine before realizing I wasnt buying the key from them and she turns around and shoves it back at me saying ugh, I cant cut this! In the rudest tone. So I ask where I could get it cut, asking for a recommendation. She scoffed and said a locksmith and turned to the person behind me who also needed a key. She could have just said sorry, we arent able to cut these blanks or sorry its against store policy, but her response was as if I was an idiot. Im sorry but Ill be driving out of my way to go to another home improvement store from now on. I can handle mediocre service from time to time for the sake of convenience but flat out rudeness and zero customer service? Nope.
I purchased a Pro Grade tool bag with a 5 year warranty for $129.00. I purchased the bag and paid for the better one because of the warranty. The retractable handle has stopped lowering so I went to the store to see about the warranty. The warranty is not detailed on the product, but instead says see store for details, I was told i would have to mail it in to be evaluated, really???? What do I use in the mean time to haul my tools, tools I bought at Home Depot.DO NOT BUY HERE THEY ARE NOT ABOUT TAKING CARE OF THE CUSTOMER, THEY ARE ABOUT TAKING CARE OF THEIR POCKETS!!!!
Sold me a washer with a leak, got it professionally installed and did a dry run today and its leaking!!! Called and they wont take it back even though my invoice has a 90 day default policy on it. Gave me a number to call for repairs and I have to flip the bill for the faulty machine they sold me. I did call the number and they wont touch the machine since it brand new and dont want to avoid the warranty. Now I have to go do laundry at a public laundry center and spend more money that they wont reimburse me for.
The worst customer service at this place. Usually you can find help all through out the store at a Home depot, but this place when I finally found someone and asked for help the lady was pretty rude. I will be going to a different store next time. Not saying all employees here are bad or this store.

2022-06-20Lack of Military discount! Other large hardware stores truly “support military and veterans” with real discounts on all items. Not just a select, less used. Lowes doesn’t require me to have my for the discount, has better prices, better lumber and gives me a 10% on my whole bill. 1 star for being closer to me.

2021-06-02This Home Depot is a typical location. Clean store with well marked isles and helpful employees if you can find one. There is plenty of parking, but there is a line of cars to get in and out. Thankfully everyone was nice and let people in line or to cross on foot.

2022-06-17Not every Home Depot is the same. Depending on the city youre in, you may not find certain products at every store and also the layout may be different. This makes it harder to find what youre looking for.I will say though, I have always found the employees at every home depot, very helpful when Ive asked for help to find something.

2022-04-30Home Depot is nearby, Lowes isnt, so thats where I shop for home repairs and home maintenance items. I dont support the political influence HD wields. The Corp has made many people wealthy and employed thousands at reasonable wages. So I guess I am on the fence for their politics rather than the service they provide.

2022-01-07Awesome everyone happy and helpful. This place is clean and well stocked. There was one item I could not find the main reason for coming today and I ask a young worker and he said lets check it out a d he ended up finding a case way up high and behind other stuff dont know hiw he spotted it but he did ran and got the huge ladder and like magic he had one down for me so I decided I better get out of here came for a $12 dollar item and spent $92 lol. They were needed and either on sale or just a darn good price. Thanks Home Depot

2022-02-22Called for assistance to the home appliance area. Manager said it would be 15 mins. Then 15 mins later the employee I called for is helping another guy who just happened to walk up to him.At least 5 employees roaming around without a purpose. Why cant they manage their employees better?I was going to spend a small fortune on a washer and dryer. They lost my business!!!

2020-01-06Great restrooms. In General everything is tidy and organized in comparison with the Home Depot in Mexico, not to mention the variety and quality. We bought a door and we smuggled it across the border in a 2001 4Runner. The website works like a charm, as an architect you can make any kind of decisions by scrolling through it and actually just arrive to the store to make the purchase, that saves a lot of time...
