Had some items my contractor purchased, I reimbursed him, couldnt find the receipt and tried to return the items for store credit. He used his credit card and since I didnt have either they said they dont give store credit anymore amd couldnt help me. Bummer. Took the items back to the car and gave them to the contractor. He can return and keep the money. Too bad. I was making purchases same day too and could have applied that credit. Frustrating.
Been shopping here a few years with little problems, lately I am followed around the store by employees and hear people saying things about security when I walk by. One more time and I will not shop here anymore.Edit, still following me around and creeping in the tool area is horrible.
Never have had an issue with home depot. This location is easy to get to. The staff is pretty helpful. They even took a return from me even though they didnt have too. I didnt bring all items back but they honored it because anew employee told me the wrong info. Finding help isnt too painful here.
This is our go to place for home projects. We were assisted by Kurtis looking for an item. It took a while finding the right fit for the project we were doing. He was patient and went the extra mile to help us. We can only hope that more people with good customer service are rewarded and given recognition.
I usually look at situation at different angles and try to justify my answer, but today I have no other answer then grade this Home Depot at level one. No shopping carts, no customer service people available inside the store, no loader available. Plus they dont clean up their piles , all the cool lumber and broken pieces sit on top of the good stuff and you cant get to it until you spend 30 minutes wasting your time pushing the stuff around.
Really good have gone in at crack of dawn and 10 minutes before closing. I have been treated very well, to good never have gotten the bum rush to get out of there causetheir closing. Always helpful and havent been bugged there good enjoyable visits. Plus we use them all the time for the business again real real good people and treat us well.
It was quick to get to--we had two things to get. We asked one person, and they directed us to the item and was pleasant--and we asked another person where the second thing was and she was also helpful and pleasant. The lady at the self checkout was funny and pleasant. Quick drive home. 4 $tars
James in the paint department went above and beyon to help my husband today. He asked me to write the review because he was just so impressed on the amount of customer service James provided . He was super knowledgeable and just seemed like he really enjoyed his job. His management team I really hope you see this because recognization is HUGE. . Please share this with James because the lack of care from other employees my husband encountered was ridiculous. It’s super nice to see someone who cares about their job. Thank you
The staff at the rental office were great this morning! Check in was fast and we were on our way in twenty minutes. However, the sod cutter we rented broke about halfway through our job so we had to return it. Again, the staff took good care of us; we rented a tiller and were on the road in 20 minutes. Ill be back because of the service.
Was going to rent a drain cleaner to clear out a clog from my bathtub. It’s Friday night and neither my wife or I can take a bath at the moment. Store was about 30 minutes from closing when I called the rental department. He says he usually likes closing early but he reluctantly said he’s gonna wait for me While making a bunch of comments about how the drain tool was backed by a bunch of other tools and difficult to get to.. Clearly he likes closing early. Anyways I fly to the store speeding down the freeway getting there in about nine minutes… Waited about 10 minutes inside the rental place and the guy was nowhere to be seen. Keep in mind the store was still about 20 minutes from closing at this point. The paint guy noticed me waiting and phoned in the rental guy but at that point I was done with it and walked away from the rental section towards the plumbing section and picked up a nice $400 Powered drain unclogger that I will be returning tomorrow morning.Thank you guys for the free tool rental!!! Next time tell your rental guy to get his act together. I never rent stuff to return it but in this case I wasn’t going to go to bed without taking a shower.Ironically the incompetence led to a five star review since I’m getting do use this tool for free. My Gain your loss Home Depot.
I had a wonderful person assist me today. I wish I got her name. She was working the Pro check out dealing with a stressful (to say the least) customer who was all up in her space. She still took care of us with a smile. To that lady, thank you so much for your patience and care. She was at the pro cash register by the big exit. Brown hair, brown eyes and kind disposition. I hope you took a well deserved break
Its a pretty typical Home Depot that youll find across the USA. But we went on to get help with a coupon for online shopping that wasnt working and got great help. First an associate spent quite a bit of time to try to get it to work, then her manager did. When they couldnt get help from home depot.com, they gave us a plan to phone ourselves. And we succeeded, for > $300 savings. Theyre trying hard....
Beware their Paint Department...Rudest attendants Ive ever encountered. Tried to give them a 2nd chance today, but nope! Whoever this bald rude guy behind the counter is - Home Depot needs to reassign him to stocking where he doesnt have to speak to the public. I left and went straight to Lowes where I was treated beautifully! Last time Ill step into a HD.
Usually has what I need. Generally friendly and helpful with the exception of one who I cant wrap my mind around why she has a job that is 50% knowledge and 50% people skills and she lacks the people skills. I would figure it was a bad day, but a coworker agreed in as nice of a way possible and I have met five other people who have had the same experience.
This store is my primary store as its close to home. I have always felt comfortable coming to this store as the staff tend to be plentiful and helpful. There was an incident recently at the store and I commend the supervisor for his immediate action and professionalism in handling this situation. Thank you again!
I like this location I am moving and have been there almost daily to get stuff for my old house and new house. Staff are always friendly and help. I take my dog with me and everyone says hi to her its great. I like that the store employees older people I normally go to them with my questions and theyre great help.
I wanted an 8-foot lengths of 5/8 inch aluminum tubing for a metal project, got stuck with half inch copper plumbing. I remember when Hope Depot had what I needed, slightly more selection than lumberjack so we in Sacramento destroyed lumberjack by shifting to Home Depot and now weve got far worse selection then was available in the 1980s from a local store. Very disappointing that Home Depot destroyed a good local business and then stopped carrying the things people need. Now the only way to get what I need is Amazon. And soon Home Depot will probably fail. Lowes is slightly better, and most of the Ace Hardwares are getting worse. Also many of the Ace Hardware stores are shutting down. Big box stores did not make things better.
Terrible Experience today! I went to Home Depo on Power Inn today. I went for a mister.I went to the garden area and was directed to isle 15. The person on isle 15 didnt know. I few people said they were out but I had already visited the web site and knew it was there. Heres the kicker. I passed multiple groups of Employees that were standing around talking. I felt like I was bothering them because I was interrupting their conversations to ask my question. Anyway without help from the employees I decided to go isle by isle to find the mister. I found it in garden where I originally was, and was sent to isle 15 by the lady in garden. While I was leaving a Caucasian lady walked out with store merchandise because she said the line was too long. Maybe if someone was actually working this wouldnt have happened. I have a great idea! Why dont you give the Home Depot on Meadowview some help! They care about the customers and they actually work!
Almost all Home Depot stores now appear to be operating on their own. Once you are in the door, you are without a doubt that you wont find what you came looking for. Subsequently, finding someone to assist you to locate what you came for is more of a challenge. Team members walk around like Androids avoid making eye contact. After doing circles around the store at times I feel blessed whenever I was fortunate locating someone, only to find that they dont work in that department. Nevertheless, it appears they each are busy doing a task that would normally require three people. Pulling them away from their hypnotic state seems utterly cruel.
We got in and out with four sheets of drywall in 10 minutes flat. Service was slightly unfriendly but they made up for it with quick accurate service. This location has an excellent stock variety of home construction needs and a beautiful garden area. Excellent, knowledgeable, and no nonsense service is who works here. I have been using this home Depot for over 20 years. Its a bit out of my way. I have one closer to my home but the knowledge makes it worth the drive.
This home depot is well maintained and had everything I was looking for. I even used the automated key copying machine. It made a working copy of my house key. But Ive heard that some of these machines can mess up sometimes, so be sure to always check your newly made copy before relying on it. If it doesnt work, you can call the company and they help you sort out the problem. I still recommend this being done by a person, because if it needs adjusting, they can usually just grind it a tiny bit more and the key works. Plus, in person key makers gives people jobs. The key machine didnt cost me any less money, so as a customer I dont see the benefit of contributing to taking away someones job. Ill be looking for a key maker person next time. Seems better for the economy.
This is my go-to Home Depot. They always have what I need and their tool rental area always has a lot of tools to rent. The workers are always very helpful and seem like they take pride in their job. The store is pretty busy but always clean and orderly. Best Home Depot in Sacramento!
I enjoy going there for the most part the staff is helpful, and very friendly, sometimes you get someone that doesnt have knowledge on what your asking for, but its expected, rarely do I have to look for an associate to help they seem to roam around and always ask if you need assistance.
Best to know what youre looking for and the layout of the store. Employees arent necessarily eager to help, whenever you ask the location for something they give off the impression its an inconvenience, I couldnt imagine asking actual home improvement advice for fear of them getting upset.
Below is the 5 star review I posted 3 years ago and Ive come back to say that this location holds steadfast and true to this date and never disappoints. It is so refreshing to be offered so much assistance and advice from the employees who act with such professionalism and readiness no matter what the situation without fail throughout your visit. Yesterday, among many, we encountered Rebecca and Agnes in the Gardening Department who were absolutely delightful and assisted us over and over and never stopped smiling while doing so. Its extremely gratifying to make a purchase of any kind at an establishment such as this where you feel your business is appreciated.Home Depot v Lowes for customer service... My mother-in-law and I recently went shopping for flowers. We went to Lowes over on Zinfandel first with their current ad in hand which showed 6 flower types mom wanted to buy. Once we were FINALLY able to track down an associate, we discovered that 4 out of 6 items were not available, not because they were sold out, but because they just plain didnt carry them at that location. We had to track that same associate down 4 more times as she kept walking away before we could finish asking her questions. One associate actually pretended not to see me as I walked toward her and she walked off. So we decided to take our business over to Home Depot on Folsom Blvd. As we were walking up, and before we even entered the gardening dept, we were met by a gal named Etta, cheerfully offering her help. Well Etta stayed with us until we were satisfied we didnt need her any longer and we were so impressed that we tracked down her supervisor Jason to let him know how happy we were with the service she provided. We were just about to leave when mom remembered she wanted something for her aphid problem. We asked an associate whose name I want to say was Jaime Zak (?) (pardon me if I have that incorrect) anyhow, this guy was equally as helpful and explained to my mom the difference in the uses and effectiveness of several different products. Neither of those associates made us feel hurried or tried to walk away until they were sure we were satisfied. On the way home, mom and I discussed the fact that we would no longer waste any time going to Lowes. People! Customer service often means the absolute most so if I am approaching you to ask a question and you pretend like you dont see me and walk away, you have just done a grave injustice to the employer who pays your salary.
Today was a pleasant experience at The Home Depot, which hasnt always been the case. Today, everyone was helpful, friendly, and actually seemed to enjoy their job. I was also pleased that they hired a senior gentleman, who was so pleasant, and moved at a relaxed (and appropriate) pace, which just felt right.
Fair quality goods overall. Not a lot of choices, especially in replacement parts... lots of plastic stuff from China. Lumber is so so... I have to sort through many to find a few straight boards. Not my favorite place for gardening tools, supplies and plants. With all that, I still keep coming back. lol
Staff are rude or have short responses. I asked for oil observant material for an oil clean up and they sent me to concrete isle, really? This is not the first! Then I was walking by a register line to another isle then a cashier ask me if I was paying credit or cash and told me to get in line first. I told her I was not checking out then she rolled her eyes. Thats an attitude issue, wow. I love Home Depot but theres always a few that ruin it for everyone!
This associate was extremely unhelpful but was very handsome, an appreciated addition in these trying times. Other associates were much more helpful and knowledgeable in the details of what I would need for my project and were very polite and informative explaining how to use certain tools and supplies I would need as well as directing me to where to find things I needed when I looked probably more confused than I felt. On a separate occasion, they also helped my 75 y/o dad, unprompted, load 20 bags of concrete into the truck when he wouldnt wait while I paid for my cactus. Thank you guys!
I hate that place, you ask for help to locate something, they point you other side of the building and then you locate the parton the other side. The part you need isnt there or you have ordered it. No clerks around. The list of thinks that make for a bad shopping is aNightmare . All the mom and pop hardware stories are gone, no Thanks to home depot. A shopping trip that s/b 10mins , now takes 30 mins.
Depending on Home Depot half the time theres no parking and theres nobody checking anybody out so the line runs down the store prices are fair and most of the people are friendly and return policy is good and ordering stuff is easy I prefer Home Depot over Lowes any day
I was so defense without the posts. I went back to ask about the posts and I was told that they didnt know what I was talking about and I must not have purchased it at that store I repeated my little story about what the fence look like and how it needs posts cuz it has round holes at the end and nobody understood. Instead of calling around I was told to go fetch go to the store and that store and maybe they have it there. Its not the Home Depot that you advertise you know I should never have been sold the fence without the posts because the sections dont stand up by themselves and no they were no metal fingers at the end of the posts that stick into the ground.
A BIG shout out to ANTHONY RAMARIZ in lumber for his help a couple weeks ago. We joined several others waiting one evening to have wood cut. Despite asking numerous times to get someone to help us - no one came for over 20 minutes. I was able to find Anthony and he came immediately and was extremely apologetic for the lack of attention of another employee (who I later saw just leave for the evening and ignored calls to help us. Great employee - they should all be like Anthony!
Usually a good store to go grab a few home improvement items, but my most recent trip was rather bothersome. As soon as we got in the store, there was an older man walking around with a mask dangling from his neck. Not a care in the world. Then on our way to the cash register a few minutes later, we go through the paint department, and some other guy, again not wearing a mask, approaches me to ask where could he find an item that I was carrying. This infuriates me. These people could be putting other lives in jeopardy. Home Depot, do better. If youre going to have mask wearing rules, enforce them, or Ill take my business elsewhere.
Great store, went on a weekday and there were plenty of employees ready and willing to help me with each item I bought. But the best part was going to the registers and finding multiple registers open with live clerks in them... Every other Home Depot Ive been in have several self service registers open and usually only one with a live employee working. I dont get a better price checking myself out, and I refuse to contribute to these stores replacing clerks with automated machines. This store had plenty of clerks up front ready and willing to help.
Their parking lot is usually crowded. But Not a friendly place. No greetings, no thank yous, nothing, just awkward silence and stairs when youre at the registers to pay. Hard to find any help most of the time. Their associates seems to be running away from their customers. Positives? Their restrooms are open and maintained and they are wearing their mask or face shields.
I like this location, it is well stocked. Sometimes its difficult to find someone to help and it is a large store. That is the only drawback, other than that I always go here. I actually started asking right when I walk in which aisle all my items are in which is helpful!
Rented a tiller here. Staff were rude and condescending. Throttle was disconnected and it was missing parts and I had to spend 1/4 of the time I had paid for just getting the thing back to working condition. This is the closest place to rent tools to me but in the future I will go further to rent from a better outfit.
They have slowly rolled back the covid protections to the point that the middle of the store is a crowd of customers and employees congregating to check out our get anywhere in the store. It worked when they were making people line up outside but now theyre letting everyone in to the point that they ran out of social distance dots for people to stand on before they checkout.Every staff member Ive worked with had been lovely, but they are clearly overworked. They have at most 1 employee in each department but it always feels like a skeleton crew.
As always the staff was really approachable and helpful. From my experience home depots hire a good number of extremely hard working, happy people. Its great. I go in with my dad when he goes to get supplies for any of his many home renovations or side projects. I just like to go with him because he teaches me something new there with one of their thousands of products. They are also a lot cheaper than other hardware stores so thats a bonus. Thanks home depot!
8:00pm close time still, in July no less, is super lame. I was told it was going to be extended to 9:00pm over a month ago. I love this Home Depot but please, pay your people better and extend those hours for Pete’s sake. My Safeway store stays open till 10pm already.
Im being generous when I give them 2 stars. I simply love these type of stores. And at times Ill will find a good deal. This location has some of the worst customer service around. I used to live in North Highlands, and they were actually good there. When you need someone, they either look the other way,or are simply not around. I literally feel as if they are instructed to neglect customers. Im reminded of the Dave Chapelle skit, where they work at the copy place. Look it up, it sums up home Depot . I walked in just now. 3 ladies. No good morning nothing.
Ive found every employee polite, friendly, and helpful. Tonight, while shopping in the verticle blinds area, I was helped by a woman who was very professional, cheerful, and knowledgeable. I didnt catch her name, but as I browsed I saw/overheard her working with other customers...she made each one feel at ease, answered their questions and addressed their concerns. I know The Home Depot made at least two sales because of her tonight. I would rate my experiences a 5; however, too many times Ive shopped there are too few associates on the floor. My rating is 4 stars.
This Home Depot has supplied nearly all of my home improvements at my house. I havent had any problems with the store, maybe some of the products but thats not their fault. They do and have taken back products under warranty. Just have the receipt handy and sometimes not even that. The layout it pretty standard as Home Depots go and the staff have all been friendly.
Very convenient location. Located close to the freeway. Store is usually clean and well stocked. Employees are friendly and helpful. This location has a tool rental counter. Four hour and twenty four hour rental is available. Rates might seem a little steep by my standards, but might be considered very reasonable for businesses that might otherwise have to purchase an expensive tool, only needing to use it for a very short period.
Cant stand this Home Depot. At any point, it feels like half the store is inaccessible due to narrow aisles blocked by oversized displays and abandoned mobile staircases, or entire aisles that are fenced off entirely for 30+ minutes so that one guy can put some go-backs away.Their lumber saws are broken down more often than not, and nobody will actually tell you that until after youve been waiting 15+ minutes for someone trained to operate it.Its hard to find anyone willing to help you, yet when theyre moving a forklift through the middle of the store there are at least 4 employees just following it around.Their parking lot is filled with more rental equipment than parking spaces, and lumber carts are as rare as unicorns, if unicorns hung out in random aisles covered in forgotten go-backs.I live very close to this location but Id still rather drive to the Howe Ave. Home Depot, or any other hardware store.
This Home Depot lost my business for sure. That tool rental at this location is garbage. They charge you even if the tool you rented didn’t work when you got it and got home to use it. The “meth tooth employee “ didn’t even look at the tool, and just told me, well you rented it”. I had to walk away before I snapped. Beware this location atleast
There is not a -5 star so i have to give them a 1 star for a bad experience, I was there 3 weeks ago i ask for 45ft of carpet there wasnt anyone there to attend me so they got my information of everything i needed, they called me the next day and this guy told me i have a note that says that you need carpet i said yes he said how much carpet you need i told him 45 feet he said 35 feet i said again no, i need 45ft and he said okay 35 feet and i said no, i need 45 feet i said 4-5 fourty five feet and he said oh okay 46 feet and i said okay 46 feet its okay, so he call the resident for payment he charged the resident 35 feet of carpet when the carpet got here i found out they send me 35 feet the resident was mad he said Im not paying for more carpet thats your fault and i told him that they messed up that is wasnt my fault so i called them for assistance so many times dont feel like explaining how many times i called and they couldnt fix my problem, i told them they needed to pay for there mistake and they told me ¿why? is your problem for not making sure you didnt have enough material, i told him i did but we needed to install 2 bedrooms of the 3 we have, the resident needed them to be installed that day so he said Im going to give you a discount, but at the end i have to pay for the extra 10 feet they messed up. Besides all the 10 calls i had to do give them to fix there problem so they ended up sending me another peace of carpet because they didnt have the same one from the same roll 😡.
I was very pleasantly surprised by the wonderful advice I received from an employee at Home Depot in Sacramento on Folsom Blvd. earlier this afternoon. I had bought a replacement for our front screen door. Our dog and cats had ruined the screen so I measured the door then went to purchase a new one. I inadvertently bought the wrong size and had to take it back. It was still wrapped in original package and I brought our mangled one with me this time to make sure I got the correct size. As I was looking for the right one an employee came up and saw my mangled screen and she told me it was fixable. She said to wait there, which I did. She came back a few minutes later with a tool that she said costs a few bucks. She told me which aisle they were on, but then she proceeded to not only show me how to use it, but she fixed my screen door. It is he remarkable customer service like that, that keeps me coming back. I wish I had gotten her name to thank her, but I unfortunately didnt get it.
Thier policy..Is if the plant dies bring it bk to the store & we will give you your money bk or store credit..Well the plant die & the week before I took the plant direction label with & was told bring the pot..so I took the pot bk & was told Oh you gotta bring the plant also..Wow..never again will I buy plants & much less anything else at your store..Also asked for my ID...Hello its a PLANT..
I dont feel the employees at the stores are interested in helping people. Each time I approach people in the store they are more interested in when its time to take their break. Im a contractor and have shopped there for over 20 years, and like my bank customer service is a lost art.
Had to wait quite some time for service and the guy who tried to help us had to go get someone from that department. We waited at least 5 minutes and nobody came. Finally we were able to track down an employee who could actually help us after walking over to the key machine. He was nice and helpful but I hate having to try way harder than I should have to get some assistance.
I always shop at this home Depot. . . So I am familiar with service and the care that the Store Manager, and the personnel put into this store and it shows . . .good selection, great help when needed. . .just ask for help and someone is usually available and willing to make your visit the best shopping experience.
I think they do volume at this particular store and they dont have the proper help they pointed the aisle and dont walk you to show you what youre looking for they think that you have shopped there before and assume assume let you know what youre doing and what youre looking for
Employee, Gabe, was very friendly, knowledgeable and informed. Though he was busy stocking merchandise, he cheerfully let me interrupt him with a question, where would I find a rake? Gabe told me where to look and actually showed me. A refreshing change from employees in the past who seemed to do their best to avoid helping customers. Hopefully, Gabe is indicative of a new attitude toward customers at Home Depot.
They said I had til May 15th to pick up my paid orderin the email but when I went to pick it up on May 2, I was told they returned it. Sorry, sorry? You are the ones that said I had time if you werent going to honor that then why didnt I get a 24 hour notice email. The bookkeeper said she returned it and the money, where in her pockets. Out of equipment and money, in this crises who needs this stress.
As usual the checkout line was a random cluster****. This location insists on stacking2 high 2 deep pallets in the already narrow checkout aisle so theres virtually no room for the lumber carts so those of us have a hrd time even recognizing where we are in the line while customers with shopping carys and hand carry items are regularly stepping in front while us proffesionals are either losing money or costing our clients money.
Hello dont let me get started on this place all the workers dont know what theyre doing they dont have tape measures on and when they working in the door part and you ask them a question and they look at you like I dont know so this home Depot if youre looking for help in any situation dont go there go to a different one but what Im wrong sucks
Worst Home depot ever. My fiance had and interview with them and they rejected her because of her size or ethnicity. They have only asked her a couple questions before rejecting her. She was at home crying because of it. Good job home depot....Find another home depot to shop at because this one is substandard and pathetic.
I went in yesterday but didnt have a chance to post. I went in to return fluorescent bulbs that were too short and also to find out what wrong with my GE appliance insurance I had been trying to resolve over the phone with the provider. I went to the appliance section & spoke with 2 young ladies that much deserve a raise as they totally took care of everything even to the point of getting the repair person to come this morning!!! They totally too care of the whole situation & I left smiling!!! Their names are Anu & Sharon and they were so helpful and on it I was very impressed!! Thank you ladies!!!
What lousy service! I had a bad experience with Horrible Deport years ago, but while in the search for a new washer/dryer, I thought I would give them a second chance. BAD IDEA. Once we purchased the items, the earliest deliver was ten days later (OK, let me give them a chance). On the day of scheduled delivery (which my husband had to take off from work), there were no delivery and no phone call. When I worked my way through the maze of your horrendous phone system (which included three calls back, long waits on hold and unanswered transfers), I was told the items were not delivered because they were out of stock and on back order. Dont you think a call to let us know that would have been appropriate? I asked. No one called you?, the HD rep asked. If someone would have called us, do you think I would be on the phone with you right now? I knew I no longer wanted to do business with HD, so I requested a refund, which I was assured would be granted in 72 hours (BTW...Im still waiting for that refund, which has already exceeded 72 hours. Wow! Looks like I have another fight on my hands but at this point, what do i have to lose?). But this story has a happy ending for us. We went to Lowes on Friday evening, purchased the EXACT same washer/dryer, and they were delivered and installed two days later! Bye, bye Horrible Depot. Too bad you treat your customers so poorly; and customers in this case are two gay men with no children who own a home that is going under major renovations and repairs in this coming year.
This is my local store and I generally count on it for home improvement materials and assistance. However, this evening I made two transits through the kitchen cabinet section to discuss counter materials. The first time I waited by the sales desk to find the sales person packing to leave. He dashed past me without acknowledging me. After picking up kitchen paint I came back and found 5 clerks speaking quite loudly and negatively about their customers. I waited until one looked up at me but neither he nor any of others offered assistance. I will be taking my counter business to another store.
Associate picked up the phone and told me they would be right with me. Forcing to come down to store and talked less then helpful customer associates takeinf phone calls, after I take to one them, less than apathetic. came down here to buy some welding equipment suppliws and other things, With major part I needed they did not have went to Lowes where they had it and provided much better customer service. Once life time home Depot shopper, never shop here again
Very unprofessional i went there to purchase a bag of concrete. Well i lost my badge to my job an im calling homedepot to see if someone turned my badge in and no one answers the phone i been calling for an your no answer. Now if i was looking for building supplys i night as well go to lowes im surè they would answer the phone. You just lost a customer. Because i remodel homes on the side painting ,hardwood floors etc Ill be going to Lowes and ill be surè to let me friends know
Actually I love this home depot , they are local to me, and actually any time I have needed help someone has been on it pretty quickly. They also have a spot wear you can rent tools which a lot of home depots dont have. My son actually owns a plumbing business which they also only use this home depot. So out of all the Home Depots this one is my favorite. We actually went there today and usually I dont need help finding anything but I could not for anything find any 10 mil tape. So somebody came up to me and found wear it usually goes but got move. He asked every one until he found it. He had to go in the back and open up a shipment and get this one roll of black tape for me. I thought that was cool, honestly if I worked there I would of been sorry we are out LOL this kid bent over backwards and that was great. ! !
Am I sharing something about Home Depot.?! Why bother, its no longer a place where you get experienced people helping you. Ive been fixing stuff for a long time, theres not a department in the store that I dont know more than the person Im talking to. I mean period thanks for nothing.
Asked to speak to a manager, but the employee insisted maybe they. There were 2. Could help me and my sister. I said, no I would like the manager. But got more where!!!! Headed to Lowes to do my business. When a manager is too busy to speak to you or whatever they were covering time to go elsewhere!
Something is odd about this homedepot Ride emplyee, and not friendly managers....1/4/2019 I shop here a lot and I see lots of cashiers, standing around and all they do is txt on their phones, I did not get greated or given a bag for my items .. I did get a small thank you while she was texting. This is sad , very sad....... . 3/11/15 I purchased a wrong valves for my toilet it was $9.79 I did loose the box but I had all the pieces there valve was new , so I went and got the new valve which was $16.89 all I wanted to do is pay the difference and mind you I did have the receipt. Tract they supervisor came on to talk to me but just as she was approaching me Reana the Return cashier approached her first and told her something to could not hear. Then tracy told me that she cant return it with out a box, that I needed all the pieces. She said that they cant return anything without a box or missing pieces. So I asked her to please come with me to the valve section she said it was fine so we walked to the aisle. I showed her that at least 5 boxes that did not have all the pieces there , WHY WAS THE CUSTOMER ALLOWED TO RETURN IT AND MOST OF ALL WHY IS IT IN THE SHELF AND NOT SENT BACK TO VENDOR LIKE SHE SAID. She could of easily just said Sir next time just have the box , and should let me pay the diffrance for the new valve. Its just simple customer service, but looks like you will not get that here at least not with this manager Tracy, its sad. Will see what the store manager says tomorrow when I call him.
From 20 gauge sheet metal to potting soil they have it. Customer service is about average but sometimes it seems understaffed. Though Home Depot did provide supplies for my Eagle Project. They provided the paint, screws, brushes, and all the essential. They even revised my plans on what paints and materials I needed but didn’t think of. Thanks to them I was able to provide Front Street Animal Shelter with some very nice green benches. Now there’s ample seating for everyone who is interested in adopting pets.
There are usually several extra parking spots available for people with disabilities and though parking fills quickly for everyone else there is always no hassle parking available off to the sides by the garden area. Once inside it seems there is usually someone willing to help with any questions you may have.
Unsafe conditions for customers. Unbelievably slow service. Spoke with Assistant Manager Rick, he said they produce too much volume to worry about stuff like a few boards. (Rick it was a whole pallet of lumber pouring into the isle.) Maybe someone should look into Ricks concerns; Rick seems overwhelmed with his tasks at hand.
I went to Home Depot after work tonight to view the new front doors I ordered online as theyre not available in stores. Young lady at Customer service desk was surprised I wasnt there to pick up and take home. They have been payed for. Explained my contractor needed to pick up for me. Clerk took me back to view in will call area. Doors were located on highest level of storage. Customer service said hadnt seen evening shift yet, didnt no where to find trained forklift operator. She didnt attempt to page for someone to assist, call manager, etc. She said I could come back later this pm, see if someone available. So I said I needed to call first and see if forklift operator available. She agreed. My contractor wouldnt have been able to pick up doors either. Not good service. Couldnt rate minus star.
Employees either ignored you or were absent. I tried to ask this one man for a question he looked straight at me and walked away. Its a mess in there, its the new year and the seeds section looks like it just got attack by a mob of anxious gardeners. All the employees were so impatient
When my fridge died, I was desperately trying to find a replacement that same day. Home Depot advertised same day delivery, so I called the store and got transferred to the appliance department, who didnt answer the phone. I called back twice with the same result and on my fourth call asked for a manager, who told me that all the Home Depots in Sacramento share one delivery driver who was out that day.I went in to the store hoping to just buy a fridge and haul it home myself, but the sales person told me that they dont have any fridges in stock, that they have to order and deliver them from somewhere else.So thanks to false advertising, indifferent salespeople, and a woefully understaffed delivery department, I wasted a whole day trying in vain to buy a fridge. Since then I have not been back to Home Depot.

2022-07-12My visit here yesterday was nice and easy and the staff was helpful when needed. The aisles and checkout was quick and easy very happy I was able to find what I needed and it was with little or no wondering around.Overall really nice store with a lot of options but also great because you can rent other large items only issue is it takes up 2 full lanes of parking in the middle of the parking lot, Im sure it helps with business but it also makes you have to park further away. Thank you for all you provide and ease of locating stuff throughout the store!

2022-04-21I lost the piece of paper that had the two employees names on it and wasnt able to reach the manager so I cant name names. But I can tell you that the paint department at Home Depot takes responsibility for their work. I can tell you that the two employees that I dealt with were utterly amazing. I had the paint mixed according to the numbers that were on the can and it was too dark obviously the paint had been on the wall for a while and the patina had changed. Through discussion and viewing of other paint samples the ladies made a suggestion to try to match the paint that was actually on the wall. The paint chip didnt work. So we started using real world references and worked it out. The second can of paint I brought home completely matched what was on the walls it is a seamless match. I cant tell you how rare it is to have an employee anywhere actually take the time trouble and effort to troubleshoot your issue with you. Home Depot has such a bad rap and honestly I only go there when I absolutely have to because I believed the urban legend about how horrible customer service is at Home Depot. Its just that its an urban legend and Im here to tell you that the urban legend is false. Its the first time I actually needed help in a Home Depot and I got top notch service, concierge level if you will. I really wish I hadnt lost that piece of paper because the two associates that help me in the paint department deserve to be named. But I will forever defend the reputation of Home Depot associates you guys do a great job! Thank you for your service.

2022-06-09Home Depot is great. This time, just needed plants. Parked near the garden center, but there were no carts. Not even a place to put carts when your done shopping. So I had to walk to the main entrance, then back to the garden center through a gauntlet of displays and over multiple rubber hoses. (I didnt want to walk in the traffic lane.) They had what I needed, which was awesome. But it was a lot more work than I feel should be necessary.

2022-06-18A good location where you dont have to go too far to ask for help. Courteous employees. You can be in-and-out in minutes if you know what youre looking for (I try to always go to a stores website first to look for products so that I wont be looking like a deer in headlights when I get their).

2022-07-22Rude, disorganized and dirty!Went in to buy a new set of upgraded power tools. Lots of employees around talking to each other, none could unlock the tools so I could buy them. Finally I saw a woman unlocking the tools and politely asked her for help. She was very rude and annoyed snapping at me that she was with a customer even though there was nobody else in the aisle. I waited a few minutes and she returned. There was a booth setup displaying a sale and I told her I wanted to buy the tools advertised. She got more annoyed and said that sale ended Sunday, and its now Thursday evening. I asked why they had a booth setup and she said they forgot to take it down then she pulled down one flyer but left the price tags up inside the promotional booth with the prices that werent offered. My wife asked for the manager twice and she refused. I told her I wanted to buy the tools offered and she told me to go online. Offended we left. When I got to my car I realized I accidentally left the store holding some hand tools I didnt purchase. I went back in, apologized to the door clerk and returned them. I looked over at the sale display and of course it was still up and not taken down after they were aware the prices were wrong and the sale ended 4 days ago.Other than that the store is very unkept and dirty. A display of some tools on sale not locked up was stacked oddly in the aisle, and almost every box was damaged.Very annoying experience and a complete waste of time.

2022-06-19Always helpful. Check out easy but they dont except Google pay or Apple pay.The CEO needs better advisors. Pay with phone will eventually be more popular and it is safer than a credit card.

2018-01-19This location has, by far, the greatest variety in supplies, tools, and rentals from any home improvement location I’ve ever been to.Their rental services are equipped with basic, as well as heavy duty tools that any home owner would need.As I stepped into their garden area, I immediately found myself surrounded by a vast variety of plants, hoses, and garden tools. Any gardener would easily check off their supply list with one stop at this Home Depot.
