I went into the office for impressions for custom earplugs. All of the staff were very nice and helpful and the impressions didn’t take long at all. There is also a wide range of color options. I’m looking forward to receiving my custom earplugs.
Joe was right on time, gave me a great adjustment to my bicross hearing aids. I never felt rushed and had his full attention the whole time. I can only give them the highest rating for all the years I have worked with him. They are the best hearing aid company in San Jose.

Rex is very personable. I left very well informed about the product he promoted. I even learned more about my hearing deficit. I was given information about two how to finance hearing aids. Really good visit. Better information than I got at Kaiser!
I just dropped in, without an appt., because we no longer live in the Bay Area. One of my hearing aids was malfunctioning for mnths. But, with cleaning, etc. it does work again.And, this was with a new front desk person. I didnt know her and she didnt know me. But, after looking up my acct. she gave me very good service.Thanks.
Dr Ferrito is great and spends lots of time evaluating, testing and then has multiple different styles if you need hearing aids. I didn’t need them for several years but my age finally caught up with my hearing and I love the almost invisible small new hearing aids I selected. Dr Ferrito spent an hour with me showing me all the whistles and bells with the ap specifically designed for my hearing aids. Staff is very friendly and supportive. I have had hearing aids (on my fifth pair) since 1995 from Dr. Joe Ferrito, the Doctor of Audiology who owns this practice. Joe is highly educated in Audiology holding the highest level of licensure and certification in his field. He is current and up to date on the improvements to both the Audiology technology and the scientific research in Audiology. His skill is far above the Corporate Hearing Centers and even most private practitioners in the South Bay. Most importantly he will only sell you the best technology which will work to improve your speech recognition and not upsell you on more expensive technology which will not improve your speech recognition. The office is well run and the staff in the front are the best as well. I highly recommend The Hearing Center to get the best hearing results if you are hearing challenged.
I went into the hearing center with no appointment to try and get my hearing aids cleaned and they gladly accommodated me. Very friendly and caring people I do recommend The Hearing Center.
My children have been patients of Dr. Joseph Ferrito for more than 14 years. They always got the best care from Dr. Ferrito and the good results at school are just one consequence of that. My children feel and function totally normal and its hard to know that they have hearing aids. Im very grateful for everything Dr. Ferrito and his staff has done and continue to do for them.
When I got the hearing aid I had so much trouble with it. They never offered any help. Then they took for ever to issue me a refund When I went in and ask why it was taking long people where rude and short - NOPE not ever again
Dr. Ferritto and his staff are excellent. Dr. Ferritto is amazing at identifying his patient’s needs and his staff does a fantastic job in obtaining the authorization necessary from the insurance company. I would highly recommend The Hearing Center to anyone!
Best place in the South Bay for Hearing aids. Expert service from the front desk to Joe Ferrito, Aud.D. I have been going to The Hearing Center for years and they really are experts and they take good care of you and your hearing.
Staff and doctor are all very kind. They also accommodated my busy work schedule. They have two locations to visit. The only draw back is they didnt have an explanation for my tinnitus, but thats the nature of the condition. Doctor was pretty easy to communicate with which is more then I can say for other doctors. I will be back.
Dr. Ferrito focused on finding out what would most benefit me; thought hard about all the alternative treatments; educated me patiently; and spent the time necessary to be the most help to me possible.VERY impressive. I would recommend him to any friend or relative.
Joe is very professional. He also takes the time necessary to listen to his patients and explain what he is doing and why he is doing it. I highly recommend him for hearing issues.

I had a great time at this place Hearing center they are very professional and friendly last year was my first visit my parents and I we came out this place because they have a problem with their hearing loss and we spoke to the doctor Joseph R. and he was very professional attending them and give them the right device and then we came this year to clean it the device and they did it without cost that’s why I leave a five star to this place they are very professional

2022-05-15I got an ear impression and ordered custom sleep ear plugs through The Hearing Center. They were able to have me in for an ear impression appointment the day that I contacted them! They clearly described the ear impression process so I felt safe, and the impression only took about 10 minutes. They were nice and helpful. I havent received the ear plugs yet, but five stars so far.

2022-08-12Thank you to The Hearing Center! My Grandpa was in the hospital and his hearing aids stopped working. I called their office and they immediately offered to help, even though he wasnt a patient of theirs. I brought in the devices and the staff was friendly and worked hard and long to get them re-tubed and fixed. With the devices fixed, Grandpa was able to hear again! Thank you to the staff for being awesome!

2022-02-04Eventhough I am not their current patient I have used their service twice and was very pleased both times. First time Kirk helped fit a new pair of ear molds for my daughter’s hearing aids. He was thorough, efficient and very easy to talk to. He spent time to make sure all our concerns were addressed and very responsive via email. The 2nd time my daughters broke her hearing aids ear hook. Alicia scheduled me in very promptly to see if they can help. Kirk helped investigate the issue and while its not something they can help they gave me some suggestions what to do next. They did that with cheerful attitude and did not charge me anything. I am very impressed with their customer service and would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone who need hearing aids services.

2021-09-23Dr. Ferrito is the best Audiologist I have ever met who has assisted my 91 year old mom. He explained test results and helped me understand details we never knew before. I appreciated Dr. Ferrito’s candid, honest recommendations for my mom’s style of hearing aids. The staff was kind and professional.

2019-05-02I have been with Hearing and Speech for 10+ years.The service is always professional, friendly courteous and informative. I never feel rushed or that my questions are not welcome.When I lost a significant amount of my hearing my first contact was with Hearing and Speech and it was a huge blessing for me.They were very patient and understanding.They walked me through the process of testing my hearing to determine how much hearing I still had and discussed with me options that would help me hear better.I have been very happy with the plan and hearing aid that I selected.

2019-06-17I was able to get an appointment with Dr Ferrito in just a few days. He was punctual, knowledgeable, knew my history quite well, sent my hearing aid in for repair under warranty, and tested my hearing. Even asked how my wife was doing! Great place, outstanding business model.

2022-05-18I can’t say enough about how impressed I was after being tested, examined, and new hearing aids prescribed which really turned my life around. My world had shrunk unbelievably as to what I could participate in due to severe hearing loss.I can’t fathom how technology has progressed to this point but am sure thankful that it has. I would highly recommend The Hearing Center to anyone seeking to again join interacting with friends, family, co-workers in communication. Hearing your own footsteps, birds chirping, all sounds previously unheard.
