2022-04-23Beautiful buildings. Great place to see new artists work and take classes in the arts

2022-05-13I recant. They didn’t know what Digital Arts was and were super unfriendly to artists. It’s named after this super conservative former Chicano grant writing professor fromThe local state college but he’s not quite decolonized and invited me to a super Christian posada for Xmas. I was talking about queer futurity from studying with Nao Bustamante and Jose Esteban Munoz, and let’s just say the discourse outraged “the conservative” founder and his wife running me out of town. I won a Christmas tree pre-lit at the raffle and tons of food which I gave back to the community, stating I’m blessed with food but I do love this tree. I donated it to my niece who owns our family home in Calexico.

2019-03-16Really cool old building - built in the late 1930s. Nice place to visit to see the old San Bernardino. Not many old buildings left to appreciate. Worth a visit - can also check out the McDonalds museum and the military Museum not too far from this location.

2019-05-03Lots to see and do here at this old fire station which was abandoned for years. I played in this group of buildings as a child in the 50s, took ballet lessons here too! It is nice to see it come back to life as a community gathering place for the arts.

2021-07-25A community center where varies art organizations are headquartered. There is a community garden, pottery kiln, art gallery, offices, event space, etc. Many events are held throughout the year.

2018-05-10An older building set in an older and not so good neighborhood San Bernardino. Makeshift wheelchair accessibility but workable. I was there to view a friends private artwork exhibit

2017-07-24A gem in the community, the Garcia Center for Arts is a wonderful place where you can learn a wide range of skills in the arts. Beautiful place to have a small get together as well!

2019-01-09Was here for a wedding. Venue was well kept, but maybe not entirely kid/parent friendly.
