We were referred to Don from a trusted professional and since we were first time home owners, we had a lot of questions and uncertainty about the housing market and the process of purchasing a condo. Don did a great job of explaining to us how the process worked, his opinion on the current condition of the housing market and what types of opportunities there were for us as first time homeowners. Don was very patient with us as we went through the process of identifying what type of condo, location and a price we were both comfortable with. I used Don and Gerri in the course of the past two months on both a selling and a buying transaction. I called Don remembering him from the old neighborhood. The first sale was a really testing ground for them - we hit a lot of negative energy from the buyers and agent, but they sailed through with flying colors.Don and Gerri were in regular contact - always completely accessible. It was my first time using Docusign, and they helped me to hit the ground running with that. Don and Gerri did spectacular comp analysis, helping me to price my sale and my purchase with market knowledge. (This expertise alone is worth their commissions!). They had good references for lenders and inspectors, and between us, we closed the first escrow in 30 days and the second in 21 days. And I am not an easy client - I had specific expectations, and high standards, and they never disappointed. I highly recommend Don, Gerri and the team. We have used Don to sell and buy several homes over the past 20 years, so it was obvious that we would call him again to sell our home in Rancho Bernardo. I was in the process of selling my property ‘for sale by owner’. It had been on the market for approximately 8 weeks. I had not received any offers at a price that was acceptable to me. Don Pelletier contacted me several times, providing advice along the way while expressing interest in representing me in the sale. I decided to list the property with Don. I was getting ready to leave the country for an extended period of time. Don reassured me that that would not be a problem.The property had been sitting vacant for a while and, as a result, needed a good cleaning. Don took it upon himself to clean it so that it would show better when buyers were viewing the property.Fourteen days after I listed the property Don produced an offer from a buyer that was at a price point that I was happy with. We had worked with Don in years past so we knew what to expect. When it came time to sell our home, we knew we could count on him to get the job done and to look after our best interests throughout the transaction.Right about the same time that we were putting our home on the market, two other homes on our same street were listed for sale. Both of these homes had recently been remodeled and showed nicely. Don reassured us ‘not to be concerned’ because he would do his best to make sure that he would sell our home fast and for top dollar. Don put our home on over 330 websites and within a matter of days we had six offers on our home. Don did an excellent job of negotiating the offers to make sure that we got the highest price-in the shortest time and at the best terms. We wanted to remain in our home for a couple of months, after the closing, so we did not have to take our children out of school before the end of the school year.Don orchestrated overbids, and when all was said and done, our home ended up selling for $5000 more than one of the other homes on our street-even though that home was larger than ours, and for $30,000 more than the other home-that was approximately the same size as ours! I just closed escrow on what was one of the smoothest transactions I have participated in thus far. Don and his wife Gerri were excellent to work with on this purchase in Rancho Penasquitos. They were not only great to me as a buyer, they always had their sellers best interests at heart and made sure this was as stress free as possible on her since she was going through a lot already. They do a ton of transactions but they still have a way of making you feel like you are their only client by always responding to emails timely and they almost always answered their phones. I am sure I will be doing business with them again and would gladly recommend my friends and family their way.

2022-07-14My wife and I worked with many real estate agents in the US over the years, but Don and his teams are undoubtedly the best. First of all, you can’t beat Don’s depth of knowledge and insights re: SD area real estate market. What stands out about Don is that he is able to translate this into simple English that anyone can understand. He does this without being pushy and condescending. In fact, he is humble and one of the nicest human being you will ever meet. My wife and I also liked his team approach in doing business. He stayed in close contact as the point person while we were working with a showing agent, Nicole. She was super responsive and was so helpful in taking us around SD area. Negotiation during this challenging time for buyers went very smoothly. Don gave us great advice and he knew how the sellers would respond to various situations. We felt prepared how to engage in negotiation process. He did a great job educating us unique CA real estate law and felt that we used it to our advantage during the escrow period. We actually completed the transaction remotely, and it went so smoothly thanks to Gerri. Don and Gerri continues to help us after closing with various needs from finding a handyman to a lawyer as we are new to SD area. We feel like we gained a friend in SD. 2021-10-09We have been lucky enough to have the opportunity to buy and sell a home with Don and Gerri. While I am sure other companies offer the same insights and market research, I would wager that none of them come close to the level of care and support that Don and Gerri does. Its not simply that they check in with you during the process they were there for us years later. If we needed a plumber Don was there, gardener - ask Don! They even were so kind as to send us lunch on the day we moved out simply because they knew moving out of a home is a crazy process. If I ever knew of anyone who was looking to buy or sell a home in San Diego I can think of no one I would trust more than the Don Pelletier Group. They treat you like family.

2021-02-15We sure lucked out being referred to Don Pelletier homes as we were long distance buyers from Silicon Valley and needed a Realtor in San Diego County.Don helped us find and buy a house in Encinitas! 2014-10-31Don Pelletier has been our realtor since 2001 when we purchased our first home in Poway. When we moved to Arizona in 2004, Don handled the sale of our home. When the relocation realtor provided by my employer failed to perform, we contacted Don who referred us to his professional network in Tucson. 3 weeks later, we were in our new home. When we moved back to San Diego, Don was the first person we called and he found us our beautiful home in Escondido.
