Watched UFC on a weekend good crowd. First ordered the Buffalo wings as a starter. Great! With drinks. They do beer, wine, mixed drinks plus had a decent bourbon selection. Ordered the Loosey bbq plater that had chicken, tri tip, and riblets. Amazing! Was enough for both of us. An order of onion rings to top it off. Tasty!Wait staff was there in good numbers and were a fun bunch. Live music and other events. Fun place with out a corporate chain vibe!
It was my first time here in about 15 years, so I had no expectations at all, and let me tell you, my expectations were far exceeded!I ordered the half barbecue chicken with black beans and macaroni and cheese as my side dish. I also got the side of cheesy bread, and when I saw all this food in front of me I knew I couldnt possibly eat all of it in one sitting, so I opted to take home the macaroni and cheese and the black beans. The half chicken was moist and delicious, and there was not an excessive amount of barbecue sauce on it, and they did have barbecue sauce on the side if I needed it. I did not.The cheesy bread was very good, and I really would have liked more, but I also knew that if I did that I wouldnt be able to walk. Our server whose name starts with an A (Im sorry, I have forgotten his full name) was very attentive and sweet. He even remembered to give me the root beer and my friend the diet coke. Bonus points for getting it right because people always get it wrong.Anyway, as I stated above, I took home the macaroni and cheese and the black beans, and had them for dinner last night. The black beans were well seasoned and I really wish I had ordered double black beans because they were so good. The macaroni and cheese had a mild flavor, and went perfect with the black beans.I definitely plan on returning soon, and not waiting another 15 years to get there.
I consider this restaurant to be located in a strip mall on or near Palos Verdes Boulevard. The food is and has always been straightforward, brusque—even gruff!—but not altogether off-putting.At one point in my life, I ordered a triple of Tanqueray at the bar here. Unfortunately, an acquaintance of mine had died the previous year, and the memory of this spontaneously shocked me to my core. I cried while sipping my drink, which tasted better here than it ever did again. My friends couldn’t stand the taste, and instead looked for more women with assless chaps (quite common here) from which to ask a favor of onion rings.Though the number of bathroom stalls at the establishment proved sufficient for my purposes, there are often motorcycles here, leading to localized issues with noise and corruption of the air. But!—any place that can make Tanqueray on the rocks taste so sweet deserves at least four stars.
Had a delicious chicken fried steak and eggs with hash browns and a nice piece of sourdough toast with a cup of coffee. Great service, not crowded dont know why, but everything I had was fine.. they have tons of roughest in lunch specials and they all look pretty good. Sorry I forgot to take a picture of my plate but it looked great
Prime rib was 50% fat. The bread that comes with dinner never came out. Reminded waitress and it still never came out. Ended up getting it to go. My girlfriends fish tacos were horrible, tasted like the bottom of the Redondo Pier. This is a fun place to drink and get drunk...just dont expect anything good from the food department.
I visited Texas Looseys with a large group of friends I ride with.We probably had 15-20 of us in our group, (side note, we are not rough bikers, we are professional guys who just happen to ride Harleys and like riding together). We were accommodated, the food all came out together and was hot. No one had any complaints. I had a Juicy Loosey burger and added bacon $3.50 eek but whatever. Kids EAT FREE!!! I think its 10 and under.I had never been there before so my girlfriends 4 year old was trying to figure out why the girls were dressed funny. They are sort of wearing this Texas themed costume. We all had a great time though. Everyone was really nice and the food was great.I was trying to eat healthy and didnt really see any great options, they could have been there but I didnt really see anything that looked better than a burger. It was my first time there so I didnt want to venture out to getting a veggie burger at a place Id never been to. My girlfriend got a burrito and it was huge and very tastey, we probably could have split that.My girlfriends daughter got mac and cheese and it was enough to feed her that night and take home.I talked about it the next day at work and a lot of people had been there and really liked it. I think its been around for a long time.I would definitely recommend this place to people who want good burgers and bar food. It was reasonably priced and a fun environment. There were also clean bathrooms and plenty of seats and tvs. Also, just wanted to say it again, the staff were all very nice and competent. Thanks for reading
This is a sports bar with a restaurant. Food was OK. Think Hooters, except the girls are dressed in cowgirl garb. Youll be paying $30/head. Service was marginal at best. The girls were friendly, just hard to track down when wanting to place an order or get your bill. And the place wasnt that busy.
This place has been here forever, and its showing its age. I mean, its a dive bar, so I guess you get what is to be expected. The food was mediocre at best. We got chicken quesadillas off of the happy hour menu, and it was three little triangles. I ordered a cup of chili because, I thought that a Texas themed restaurant would do a good job. Its wasnt good. It was sort of gritty, not a lot of meat. They also served the beers in a hodgpodge of cups, which I dont terribly mind. But I received a beer in a metal cup, and the metallic taste spoiled the beer.
Best melt-in-your-mouth baby-back ribs in the South Bay. I really like this place not pretentious like Famous Daves in Long Beach or over-cook BBQ like Lucilles (nothing quite like burned pulled pork). They have a very friendly staff & the manager/owner is very accommodating also, even gave me a FREE side of riblets once when I was trying to decide between the dinner special which had riblets or my usual full rack of baby-back ribs. They also have entertainment on various nights - anything from live music - karaoke (Singing with the Hits - longest running karaoke show in the South Bay) - even Monday night lingerie show.
Never been before...Went on a Saturday afternoon about 3:00 pm. Thought I was walking into a BBQ joint, but found myself in a full-on sports bar. TV screens everywhere with various football games playing. The crowd was loud, intoxicated & all male except for one female... as well as the bartender & entire wait staff were female. There were drink, appetizer & food specials for each night of the week. -- We ended up skipping the bbq, instead ordering Nachos Grande & Bacon Cheese Fries. The orders were abundant. The fries were tasty, although they could have been cooked a little longer. They were topped with shredded bacon & smothered in a blend cheeses. The nachos (several colors of corn chips) were smothered in the same blended cheese and topped with jalapeños, black olives, chopped tomatoes, a large scoop of guacamole, Mexican beans, Texas red chili & sour cream... And, it came with a side of salsa. I ate earnestly for about 45 mins and was quite satisfied as a nachos meal goes.$$Our waitress/ bartender, Chris, was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu & ingredients, cheery & ingratiating. Although she wasnt flittering about our table, she appeared almost as if summoned just as I approached the bottom of my beverage. She obviously wasnt a rookie.Upon looking around the bar, I noticed a more family friendly area separated from the bar area by large glass panes. That section also has TV screens throughout. The tables in that section were attended by several waitresses wearing cowboy hats, short shorts & cowboy boots.Overall, it was a noisy sports bar experience punctuated by loud exclamations from the well lubricated bar patrons. Food was good (not great) bar food quality.
COME WATCH UFC HERE !!!! Had the Chicken Tenders the Booboo way and Man oh Man were those delicious (Secret Menu) lol on top of that ... Excellent Service... The Staff is soo friendly and attentive. All Smiles and laughter around this place. I will def be back for KARAOKE on THRUSDAYS
This is not true Texas dining this place is very misleading and disrespectful for people who are from Texas im from Texas i have lived in LA for 4 years i went here because i thought i would feel right at home this place has a Texas sign outside but when you go in its not the Texas that im from they had no Texas college teams no UT or Texas A and M no Texas music playing no Texas beer and the bartender doesnt know what deep eddys vodka is the owner has never even step foot in Texas this place is a disgrace for peole from Texas just a bunch rich white people that look at you all weird and the bartender is bitchy too i do not recommend this place if your from Texas you will probably get angry like i did and the chilli was served to me cold where im from chilli is served close to boiling hot!!!

2022-02-06Casual inside, patio and outside dining. Great food (large shrimp) and great service. So comfortable we hung out awhile. My top most priority is Dani, my service dog and Samantha, our great server, brought her water when she brought our water.

2022-05-12Great food, cool place. Just had one really loud drunk girl that made us want to GTFO vs hang out longer. But we will definitely go back for sure. Next time we will maybe eat on the patio if its that loud inside. Not a fault of the place at all. Just one loud lady that everyone, was sick of hearing. Even the staff were sick of her. So it really seemed to be an anomaly but makes for a funny review.

2022-05-22The service was great. The restaurant atmosphere is very nice; loved the music being played while waiting. Unfortunately, my family and I shared the rib-tips appetizers, Tri-tip alacart, BBQ chicken salad, w/cheesy garlic bread, and a Dallas burger, were not sure which one of the items we ate was the culprit; but all of us got sick to some degree. I dont think well go back there for the food again.

2022-07-03We left before ordering the meals, so I can’t judge the food. But why the bad review: We received 2 different menus (with diferent prices) and missing listed price of the drinks. We waited too long to place the ordered for food. So we asked for the bill and at the end we paid each $10 for a single ordinary beer. Also the menu didnt have anything special. Plus it was super noisy in there, tv playing, music playing, people chatting and kids screaming.

2022-03-13The girls dont wear the bikini cowgirl stuff anymore and the chili cheese fries are not the same. I used to get tipsy on one long Island iced tea, but now its watered down and they limit how much goes into your drink. I was highly disappointed when the staff was not in their cowgirl hats n uniforms
