Our technician, Richard, did an excellent job and explained what he was going to do before hand. I received a text from him the day before as a reminder that he was going to service our house the next day. I let him know about a few carpet beetles we found recently in the house and he came prepared and took care of the concern. He always does a great job and communicates really well.
Chad, our normal service tech is great. He always calls us in advance to remind us that he is coming so we can unlock our gate. At the end of his service he lets us know that if we have any pest issues in-between our monthly service to just call him and he is happy to come back. Fortunately, we have never had to do that, but its always nice to know that service is available. This last months service was done by a different gentlemen, but he was equally as efficient and polite.
Technician is kind and courteous, does an excellent job, goes above and beyond. Without asking he even goes around the entire house and gets all the spider webs down. Always contacts me a week out, the day before, and the day of (I forget easy lol). Very happy with the overall service.
I am a local business owner and I recently opened a brand new business in Bakersfield Ca, and since it is also a brand new building I needed it serviced as I noticed a lot of ants and spiders. After waiting on hold for 20 mins I finally made an appointment. I waited all day for them to show up. They never did and no one ever called to notify me either. Since then I have been trying to get a hold of them both by calling and by using their texting service. No response. The customer service from this company is an absolute joke. I called WOW PEST CONTROL and they actually answered the phone right away, I spoke to a real person and made an appointment. Go to WOW.
I cant say enough good things about our technician Jesse. He goes above and beyond his job and kindly makes recommendations when we have insect issues that come with each change in the season. Hes very polite, on time and promptly responds to phone call and text messages. He is one of those employees who goes the extra mile and takes care of his customer. The Bakersfield Terminex is lucky to have him as a technician. I cant say enough good things about him!!!! Very very happy with our service!!!!!!
I paid this company for six months of treatments and I could only have them to treat the house one time, after that time these people Kept on coming very late at the end of the day trying to spray the house. Or the next day and then trying to make us stay home and wait for them. And a lot of problems with customer service. Employees have a really bad attitude towards clients.Make story short dont waste your time with this so caled company.Hire some professionals who really take will give you the respect and service that you are paying for.
I got my services done in November.. I just asked for the outside down. Terminax Tech was polite and very professional. A few days before the 25th of December I noticed spiders kept coming in; I called them around the 23rd the call center was polite and understanding about my need to have another service for the inside done. Even despite the holidays Terminax got me scheduled just a few days after I called. This tech explained the treatment and what we could do to prevent them coming in. Havent had a problem so far. They also did this second service free of charge
We didnt get as far as having Terminix come out to our home, but the one star rating is for customer service. Strike One - a rep said they were going to call me about starting up service and never called. Strike 2 - they called us to cancel our initial appt and never told their technician so he showed up at our house unaware the appt was cancelled. Strike 3 - we decided to cancel the rescheduled appt and the rep told us that because she couldnt get in touch with the technician, the appt couldnt be cancelled. She stated she would note down that it was cancelled in our info but couldnt stop a technician from coming out (even though we were not home). Wasted the workers time.Theres much more detail to these three strikes but this is the short version. I really wanted to give the company a try but if its this bad getting started, Id hate to see what it would be like doing business on the regular with them. Gotta acknowledge the red flags when you see them.
Terminex has the worst customer service! I called the 800 number to start service. They promised me they world. They said someone would check my house from top to bottom and the inspector did not do that. Their spraying killed nothing. When I wanted to cancel, I had to speak to 3 different people because the 800 number i originally called said they could not cancel the plan for me. I called the local company and they transferred me to who knows who that was extremely rude. They DO NOT have a money back guarantee. Im just glad I didnt have a contract with them.
DO NOT HIRE!!! Homeowners please be aware!! My mother hired Terminix and trusted in this well known company. They contracted a 3rd party to do the work and while her home was in their care it was broken into. She came home to see that all of her valuables were stolen! If you do decide to go with them please ensure they lock up your home and you need to be there to witness it. Or hire a security company to watch the home while you are gone. Also, ensure that they are doing the work and NOT a third party. To top it off the job was not even done correctly there are still visible bugs in the home. Please be careful!!
I was kind of stuck calling Terminix in the first place. They were one of the few companies that were willing to come out to where I lived- in the middle of nowhere. They came out to spray our yard for ants (June 10)and said that there was a 30 day service warranty (But it is supposed to last for 3 months?). Within a week the ants were running all over our yard again so I called for an appointment to have them come out and spray again. They said they couldnt come until Tuesday morning (July 1st) basically right at the end of the 30 days. Tuesday morning comes and they are not here. I call them. Turns out they rescheduled my appointment to Thursday July 3 in the evening without calling to tell me. It better work this time. But I will never be using them again.
I would leave 0 if possible. This place is a joke!!! They have sent me to collections AFTER their tech showed up to do some rat abatement at my business and left saying he couldnt do the job!! They billed me $425.00 for work the guy NEVER did!! I called them immediately and took care of the issue with the bill and now its 9 months later and they have sent me to collections. LIVID to say the least!!!
These people dont even deserve 1 star. I called them Friday April 8th at 9am to come and do an inspection on my house they said they would be there in between 3pm and 5pm inspectors name Carlos. Well I guess Carlos got lost called at 5pm was left on hold for an hour only to be transferred to someone else was then told I would have to be rescheduled for today Saturday that the inspector would be there in between 8am to 10am again he never showed up. I completely understand the inspection is FREE but that does not mean to never show up. I am glad I didnt pay for them to come out.
DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!god Im so over this damn place! they guy who came to my house was a complete douche so this changed my mind real fast and told him I didnt want anything! then after he left continued to call n text me everydayeven though I NEVER got work done on my house, of course they billed me anyways! and im still trying to fix the problem...so annoyed i even thought to use this companyi wish i could leave no star lol
My experience with Terminix was very great they are most professional everybody that came to my house there was at least four of them were very polite very professional they did their job in a very professional manner enjoyed having them here I would enjoy having them at my house in the future I recommend this company especially this Bakersfield company to everyone out there they will get the job done right and then well get it done fast thanks Terminix thanks you guys in Bakersfield you are thetbest!!!!!
I would have like to not give them any stars. They have terrible customer service so they asked that move items around in the home and have all pets, elderly persons and babies away from home for a set amount of hours. Well they never showed and did nothing to fix the problem!!

2022-05-05Used teminix and worked for them when I lived in the Monterey country. I serviced Pacific Grove, Monterey, Seaside, Pebble Beach, 17 miles Beach , Carmel Beach, Carmel by Sea, Upper Carmel Valley and Carmel Valley.

2021-10-13All I will say is if it wasn’t for Emily who answers their phones and who takes the information from the customers, I wouldn’t have anything nice to say. She was absolutely precious!! Took more than a little time to help me and to listen to me complain. The original guy that came out was also a nice young man as well. But Emily is the only reason I’m not asking to speak to the highest man on the totem pole!!! Thanks Emily, your professionalism and your kindness really made my day better despite my annoyance when I called. I hope they realize what a good employee you are!!!

2021-11-04Beware of Terminix! I was uncomfortable after my interaction with Justin Robins in September. I got the impression he didnt comprehend English well after faltering on my requests. I notified Terminix customer service soon afterward that I wanted a different service technician. Early October, I got a text from him (that is harassment) that he was on his way for a service call. I informed him I had another technician assigned. Subsequently, I received text notifications from Terminix on October 9th and 20th that a technician was on his way as well as when service was completed. I have video surveillance proof NO ONE showed on both days. When I addressed the issue on the 22nd, after I had seen a dead rat at my front doorstep the day before (never happened over several years of being here), the rep stated that a manager or supervisor would get back to me within two business days. That not only didnt happen, but it still hasnt occurred (very poor follow-through) and it stirred ill feelings about when a previous rep had me enrolled in a yearlong fumigation contract when I only initially agreed to a one-time spraying.

2021-05-28The initial service was great. He called the day prior, showed up on time and was very thorough.The problem came with the follow up call. I got a call after the initial service and during that call a rodent inspection was offered. I was told that it was complimentary. Once it was scheduled I get another call from the guy that was supposed to come out to do the inspection & he decided not to come because I hadn’t actually seen any signs of rodents. Besides the inconvenience of the last minute cancellation (he called the day of the scheduled appointment) I don’t understand why he did not come to inspect when it was offered to me.

2021-03-22The service man was very professional. He texted me before showing up and after he was done. The work done was very good: spraying for bugs and the knocking down of cob webs. I have had other companies for the same services but services rendered were incomplete. Highly recommended.

2022-03-29Nice people and the service is great... Cleaned the cobwebs from the eves and took time to make sure we knew we had to be out of the house for 4 hours. I appreciate the knowledge and its only been a few days and I have not seen any bugs.

I’ve had Terminex for almost 2 years and I have had two technicians due to there routes being moved around, but both have always been so helpful. Thank you for your awesome work.

2021-10-30Good experience service wise, so far only complaint I have is this was our very first service and the tech didnt really explain much on how this all works he said after he would get in contact with me to let me know what was all done and I never got a call, never told me when my next service was either, just seemed to lack communication but I was able to log into the app and see when my next service is overall though Ive had good experience so far with them 😀
