My 1st experience here was slow on service but excellent food. My 2nd time was beyond excellent. Service and food were 100% on point. That server should train all servers like she works. However, I was given an excuse for my 1st time experience and told that the kitchen cooks based off how they feel that day. This is not right. The kitchen should be turning out a excellent product each and every time, not based how they are feeling that day. Management needs to address this type of culture and ensure it does not spread. Recommendation, make a garlic butter and rosemary spread for the bread rather than a side of garlic in a plastic container. The garlic was overpowering and it seems as if a lot of it goes to waste per table.

The food was so delicious and portions were large enough to enjoy whats left for lunch the next day. If I were to make any suggestions it would be to serve a softer bread. The bread was very hard. Outside of that, everything was absolutely delicious 😋

Service was kind, but slow. I had a meat marinara pasta which was greasy and sub par. My wife had chicken and did not finish her meal either. It’s a nice/cozy and very affordable place and a decent choice if you don’t feel like cooking or driving to a good place to eat. I’ve heard the steaks are their strength, so I may update this after a second visit someday.

Absolutely delicious!!!! We went for my aunts birthday and she had the Swordfish....Amazing!!! My fiancé had the Salmon.....Soooo good!!!! I had the Seafood fettuccine.....It was the best ever!!! O and they serve this fresh baked bread with butter and fresh garlic...I cant wait to get back there. And the service was great as well.Thanks Sweeneys staff!!!

Popped in after work and had an excellent rib eye and a scotch at the bar. Super friendly environment. Giants game was on.I really like how the restaurant is L shaped. It allows the bar and bar noise to not Interfere with the restaurant.I would give them a 5 star, but they dont have proper ice for the liquor they have and thats a bit irritating.

Very nice Italian restaurant. Outdoor patio was pleasant except for the flies. The food was fantastic and the service was fairly quick. Highly recommend.

Recently moved here and my first out door dining experience due to the lock down. We had a wonderful dinner in a romantic ambiance 👌🏼and food and service 🙌

Buttery Italian steak was our dinner highlight Wine selection was decent & so is the dinner we ordered except for the dinner special, Sea Bass ($21) was a huge disappointment since it came with more pilaf than sea bass and asparagus.Calamari we ordered and Caesar salad was ok. Kid approved spaghetti with meatball. All in all, will dine here occasionally considering food is nothing special other than good steak dinner. It’s a good 20 minute drive from Tracy through Mountain House. Sevice is good.
