This place is clean, light and feels extremely well run. The staff are friendly. Great location with awesome food within walking distance. You cant go wrong. Only issue is if you need an elevator the buildings dont seem to have any.
This place was perfect. I reserved a room with a King bed and full kitchen. When I got there the room wasnt ready, however I was offered another room with 2 queen beds and was bigger for the same price. Theres a Trader Joes one block away (walking distance), a Whole Foods, nail salon, great restaurants and 99 cents store within walking distance as well. A bus stop right across the street that runs every 15 minutes and take you to the beach/pier/ shopping. The staff was awesome. They have complimentary breakfast as well, its not alot but it was perfect especially with the pandemic. GREAT PLACE, I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK.
Excellent place to stay. The girl that checked me in was kind, courteous and very helpful. My room was very clean and every day it was spotless. The staff and house keepers really have a lot of pride in their work and it shows.
Room size is good. Breakfast is a bit poor for the price – motels offer more. Turning on the air in the room is LOUD. Just walk to trader Joes two blocks away and grab something. Otherwise fine location on the west side. Check in and check out was easy.
I think this is a great stay for the price and location. Yes, the parking can be stressful, but there are plenty of options and spots in the furthest lot from the front office! There is also street parking :) that is metered! It’s a walkable neighborhood and felt safe to me. It’s not the quietest, i heard the people above me, but I blasted the fan all night and slept great. I recommend this hotel.
Positive: It was very clean and comfortable enough. Negative: It had no charm or beauty, and was very noisy. The aesthetic was sort of Home Depots cheapest line of interiors from the 1980s. For a total of $---/night (including taxes), I¿d hoped for better.

Location was very good. Close to restaurants and bars. I liked the room. It was spacious and clean. The Aircon was very noisy though. Sounds like needs to be repaired. I ended up turning it off cos I couldn’t sleep cos it’s loud.

Positive: It was a nice location with Trader Joes right next door and only a short drive to Santa Monica Pier. Negative: The rooms are very small but comes with everything youll need. The water pressure is much stronger than any shower I have ever used and the shower curtain wasnt able to contain the water so the bathroom got very drenched every time we took a shower.
They have done a really nice job fixing this place up. Good quality furnishings really make this place a little extra special. Even though there’s Covid they still manage to put together a nice little breakfast. And the best part was we all got free sunglasses. Oh and the staff is absolutely wonderful and amazing. Highly recommend this place good quality place to stay at a reasonable price.
The location is excellent for this motel. Very close to Santa Monica and Westwood. Staff was friendly and understanding.Now coming to what I dislike:- There are no elevators to any of the building.- Parking is pain.- Housekeeping is done alternate days and I was never told about it.- At this point of time, breakfast is two small pancakes, juice, coffee and grab and go bags (it has banana, apple, bottle of water and another item)- Carpets are all dated.
Stayed here for the second time during spring break. We had a courtyard view room this time and it was cute—felt like apartment living since there was a security gate. Office staff are friendly enough. Housekeeping services are friendly and efficient. Thank you! Parking is ample but tight spaces. Huge plus having TJ’s steps away.
Poor because issues do not get addressed and also as much as it looks clean the floors are absolutely dirty . Yet one cannot expect to be treated like a diamond member here dont count on that. If you like to take a chance with your stay at their expense u may luck out with a better experience. No late check out no early check on. The biggest advantage they got is their location and couple front desk people who compensate for the lack of proper management
Great customer service, location and clean rooms. Some restaurants and grocery stores close by. Morning and evening front desk staff were very helpful and happy to answer questions. Housekeeping ladies greeted us every day. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

I am a very picky mom when it comes to booking a room because I want my kids to feel comfortable. Here one the best place we ever stay in Santa Monica and the price $109 is low consider we book it last minute, the room is clean, cozy even if a bit small but overall best. They disinfectant the room due COVID-19. They have breakfast where they put it in a bag.. The staff is very nice. The place is 8 minutes away from Santa Monica Beach. Would definitely come back again. The parking is free but first come first served.

Negative: Our room was so noisy we couldn¿t sleep. There was a back door left wide open and we didn¿t feel secure. People were going up and down the back staircase and our headboard would shake and vibrate. Our room looked out right on the parking lot.
Honestly, the staff make up for an otherwise underwhelming stay. Ron is a gem. He needs a raise.True facts. I spend as little time as possible in my hotel room. I just want a warm shower and and clean sheets.If Im in my room, Im working. That means I need all of the bandwidth. I had 1Mbps up and 1 Mbps down. Tech support gave me a private network to use, but that meant they were intentionally throttling the guests to have enough bandwidth to begin with.I appreciate what they did, but they need to fix their infrastructure to accommodate business travelers.
$190/night and no elevator. When you get to the second floor hallway you are greeted by more stairs. Small rooms and parking lots.Then the power went out for a couple of hours taking the internet with it.
Great experience, easy to reserve and book. Safe area. Friendly staff. Very Clean, fresh and updated room. We stayed in the courtyard king suite. Super affordable! Loved it! Will be coming back!!

Small, newly remodeled and fresh... Not a bad area, parking spots are small but there is plenty of parking. The room I have has new wallpaper fresh paint fresh carpet bathroom seemed freshened up w/ a kitchenette.
Downside, the kitchenette doesnt have a tub. It has a full stove with mini fridge that doesnt freeze well with two pints of ice cream. It comes with mini plates and coffee cups, dish detergent and sponge. No bowls or silverware. I had two small children and a tub wouldve been nice. Theres no pool. Barbecue court or pit is closed.Plus side, its 10 minutes away from the Santa Monica Pier. Its conveniently located near some places.

Generally the rooms are cleaned well in building 4 the only time I had a problem with the cleanliness was when I got a jacuzzi room to soak my back. I am a person who runs the jacuzzi with bleach for a good 45min , then drain and clean thoroughly with Clorox wipes BEFORE USING IT. When I ran the bleach through, the photo below shows what came out. I Had to do this process 2 more times to feel comfortable before I could enjoy it for myself.
My husband and I stayed here for two nights during our road trip. It had everything we needed at a great price for about ~$200 dollars for 2 night stay. The hotel room interior had great vibes and was clean. The proximity of the hotel to certain locations -- Santa monica/Venice beach was good/reasonable if you have a car. Staff was efficient at check in/out and was welcoming and friendly. My only issue is the people who hung out at night around the area. It seems a weird crowd of people stay in these hotel rooms maybe for extended period of times. Our second day we noticed some police cars in the hotel parking lot due to a crime. Also, some people were hanging out around the stairs smoking and drinking beer late into the night (both nights) which seemed a little sketchy for a hotel (more common in apartment complexes).
Good stay. I needed something last minute, that was close to most of the areas i frequent.
Great service, breakfast, enough parking place and rooms were clean. The only problem was we got roadside apartment so it was very noisy other than that we enjoyed our time.
Whoever redecorated these rooms has a real talent they are so adorable and so comfortable and just remind you of the beach. The parking is nicely close and everything is gracious I have stayed here before.The first time I stayed was better than this time because some of the hotel staff this time had a snotty attitude and were not helpful at all
The staff here are wonderful and kind. Pretty good continental breakfast, close to many attractions and the beach, and the neighborhood is really cute. The bed was comfy, and we loved the blackout curtains. The only minor annoyance was the cramped parking, and difficult to find a space at night at times. But overall, I would definitely stay here again!
This place was awesome. Stayed 4 days with my sons. The night manager was super friendly and deserved a raise. He was unbelievably kind with me. I had checked in so late, I was tired, very frazzled, but he remained so kind to me. The housekeeper for room 403 was very kind to my son who had gotten sick. Another angle in disguise. Love the entire stay.
Very clean comfortable hotel. The only negative was that in our room there was a strong pressure of water in the shower, which could not be regulated.

Great hotel! Rooms are a very good size, newly rennovated and have all the amenities you need. Very nice couryard with tables, lounge chairs, etc. I would absolutey stay at this hotel again. The front office was so nice upon check in and any needs we had. The grab & go breakfast was wonderful as well. The location is alright. It isnt walking distance to the beach or the promenade but is a very short uber or drive(2-5 miles depending on where you are going). There are a few restaurants/bars that you can walk to, but overall plan on driving a few miles to the hub of all the action.
Loved staying here! This place was clean, affordable and safe, and I have a Tesla and was able to charge up overnight! How glorious. The only reason Im not giving it 5 stars is because the internet was fairly slow (maybe 5Mbps). I was able to boost it up for a bit by calling and asking them to reset the routers, but it ultimately was so bad I could barely use YouTube on my phone. My cell signal was also very weak inside, but it was still smoother using my cell than the Wifi.So, otherwise, great place and great price for Santa Monica. The staff was super nice too. I would stay here again - but if youre working remotely during COVID, this might not be the place for you. The next time I come here I will bring a mifi device so I can actually use the internet at a speed I need.
Small room but half the price of staying in downtown Santa Monica. Across the street from McCabes. Itll be great when they resume their concerts. Ive stayed here before and liked it then, too. Ill be back.
They only have three or four stars on their actual page oh, but I will give them five stars. I have traveled and went and stayed in many places and what I have found is that this place in all of the places Ive stayed in, is one of the best when it comes to the staff, the cleanliness of the room, the convenience of the place which is only three miles or less from the beach, and everyone was so polite and helpful. We never had one problem the whole three days we stayed there. Everyone was attentive and helpful no problems to report for the first time in all the times Ive ever stayed anywhere this place and this staff was phenomenal.I highly recommend everyone stay at this place when you go to Santa Monica area. Its well worth your money

A reasonably nice hotel, has a cute patio area for people to hang out and chat. Air conditioning is a bit loud, but otherwise overall very nice.
This hotels rooms are about a 3.5. However the service is phenomenal. Treated me like a family member and I felt that they were very trustworthy. Thats why they earned the extra star. I will definitely stay here on every business trip I have in the area.

Conveniently located within few minutes drive of Santa Monica pier and near the freeway to zip up town to Hollywood boulevard etc.Clean spacious rooms with free parking for residents. included breakfast in room rate is decent continental.decent WiFi too. pleasure to stay there again a second time.there is a supermarket located next door, trader Joes.
Very clean. Rooms look newly furnished. Basic but fine as we just required a base. The only thing I’d suggest changing is the use of single use plastics / paper at breakfast. Everything including condiments / utensils / plates etc. are single use. Everything is disposed of in one bin and there doesn’t seem to be any recycling bins. Quite surprising considering many places we’ve visited in California are recycling.
This hotel claims to be pet friendly, but it definitely is not. They dont have dog stations or even a dog area! They want you to leave their property to find a place for your dog to go potty and if they urinate on their flowers you will be fined. The sheets had stains on them and the toilet was completely lopsided! You couldnt go barefoot in the room because it turns your feet black because they clearly dont clean the floors. Not very impressed. I did like the go bags they had for breakfast.

Excellent staff, friendly, helpful and eager to help in any way. Our room was upstairs, 21 of them and the noise from the I-10 freeway very loud. Maybe one of the lower rooms would be much quieter. Rooms newly renovated. Very close to Trader Joes groceries, Lares Mexican restaurant, McDonalds.

I found a stained bloody pillow on the bed i noticed it when fixing the pillows to sleep I ran downstairs to complain an ask for a refund on the room for sanitary purposes the front desk says speak to a manger in the morning & I do he says “we did an investigation and checked the room 2 times an saw no bloody pillow that it I checked in at 3 that I could’ve done it” I was furious that I payed for a room at the BEST WESTERN & had this experience NEVER AGAIN

Spacious and clean room but the bed was too small for being a double room. Our room was close to the main street (Pico Ave) and the noise was unbearable. We could hear through the walls, specially the people in the room above us.

Worst hotel on our trip. Fake photos and fake information on homepages. The whole hotel is under reconstruction, outdoorspace looks like a mess, room was very old and run-down but to be honest, clean. Very noisy. Did not like the place and felt ripped-off.
Great spot off of Pico and 32nd nice atmosphere safe place for family and friends only 20 blocks from the ocean! A mile to the north is the 4th Street Mall in Santa Monica another mile to the east is sepulveda blvd. and downtown LA great spot all around 😎

Its a motel, not a hotel. There are multiple buildings, so be aware you may have to carry your luggage a little bit. The continental breakfast was less than stellar.

Nice hotel in good spot in Santa Monica. Good and extensive breakfast also included. Nice place to visit LA. It is a bit of a walk (1 hour) to the pier in Santa Monica, but you can easily drive there by car for exploration. There is plenty of parking available. To be repeated!
We only arrived today, but we are so excited that we would like to give it a clear 5 stars right now.Apart from the cleanliness, the good location, excellent public transport connections and the good facilities (there is a refrigerator, a microwave, a coffee machine and sufficient care products in the bathroom), we were also received incredibly warmly (even in German 😉) and There were good and interesting tips straight away (where to find something - supermarket, where and when breakfast is served, etc.) Lovingly folded towels awaited us in the room and even the facial tissues were fanned out and smiled at us.Somehow it immediately felt at home.
From the outside it looks a bit sad. This is because of the gray color. The rooms have been renovated during the pandemic and are in top condition. The breakfast is good by American standards. WiFi was good too. Only the location directly on the street is very noisy. But between about 24:00 and 6:00 you can sleep
Really wonderful, the room was super clean and the staff charming, a fairly good area and with a good combination for transportation in terms of buses, it has a large dining room and a fairly varied breakfast, the bad thing is that it did not work to raise the window and It seems that the remote was broken and they had to ask for a new one, except for that, everything is correct, I recommend staying here

2022-03-02First of all, I loved the room I stayed in. I was able to secure a room to accommodate my pet, so that was huge bonus points from me. The bed was comfortable, the shower got hot very quickly, and the sink/table/microwave area was spacious. The front desk staff upon check in was super friendly.The hotel is located by a lot of businesses so its perfect for walking distance. The breakfast is within Covid standards, so youre going to get simple, yet still filling, food items. I was satisfied with the selection and have no complaints there.A couple of cons though - I stayed in a ground level room. The floors are not carpeted which means extra loud walking from the occupants above me. It was a big distraction so if you plan on staying here, make sure to specify a second floor. However, there may be a down side to that because there are no elevators (at least in the building I stayed in there wasnt).And finally, there are very limited parking spaces with the city not allowing street parking. If you get a parking spot right away, I would strongly suggest not driving your vehicle for the rest of the night because it was a major struggle for me. The front desk staff had to give me a pass to use at Trader Joes to park (which is about a two-min walk away).

2022-04-02Friendly staff and great location in Santa Monica. Breakfast was included for us and it was pretty good. They have a cool pancake machine which a bunch of other stuff like cereal and bagels. Rooms themselves were really clean. Parking can be a little rough if you arrive late back to the hotel, but not the end of the world. They did have EV charging available on site for free. You do have to let the front desk know if you want to use it, however, the maintenance team was always quick to unlock the charging stations for you.

2022-06-11I’m giving this hotel 5 stars for their treatment of their guests. They are wonderful and courteous. The place is clean and the rooms are very well kept with a small fridge, kitchenette, microwave and coffee maker. The bathroom is modern with a shower that has a short ledge making easy to get in. Their breakfast bar is clean with lots to typical breakfast items ( pancakes, bagels, hard boiled eggs, cereal, juice, coffee and yogurt)The hotel is in Close proximity to many stores and eateries and is close to the highway.

2022-01-09The location was great for my purposes and staff was terrific! The room was good but lighting above the sink made it hard to shave. Complimentary breakfast is appreciated but a little thin on offerings and starting at 7 on weekdays is a bit late for those of us there for business. Local restaurants within walking distance are good. Id stay here again for future trips.

2022-02-22The hotel is very nice, clean, they have decent wifi, a decent free breakfast, and the staff is very nice. However, when we booked it they said they had 2 rooms available with one bed. I was traveling with someone so sharing this bed was going to be a little difficult but we expected the bed to be big enough to accommodate both of us. We left to check for other possible locations and then came back to take the offer she had gave us. As the lady was checking us in she claimed that the room was very spacious, but we got in and the bed and room was very small. It was a last minute booking so it was not their fault but it would have been nice if she would have been honest about the room size. Other than that though the hotel was very nice.

2022-01-31Rooms are good and management is very good. Relatively safe environment.2 stars because this property is abusing people who are somewhat desperate for a place to stay for cheap, have no alternative, and dont want to sleep on the beach with recently paroled felons. $200/nt for a tiny room in a claustrophobic environment with heavy traffic right outside.The bathroom in my room was so small, it was not possible to open the door all of the way because the toilet was in the way. The courtyard is so small, if youre talking on the phone, 100% of everyone else in the courtyard could hear every word. The building is poorly supported, so when a neighbor closed their door, my entire room vibrated. An earthquake would have been more interesting, but it was just one of the neighbors returning to their room.My stay here was an example of why a person could need a vacation from their vacation; seriously energy-draining.

2022-04-11Positive: Rooms were very clean, beds were comfortable, and the hotel is in a convenient location. I didnt make it to the breakfast so I cant comment on that. Nice atmosphere in the courtyard. Negative: Parking was a little tight. Great that parking is included but there were so many truck in the lot which made it very hard to navigate but not impossible. A little prices but thats Santa Monica!
