The hair quality is poor and their very over price. They use to be an okay place to shop but lately they have gone down hill. If they spent more time ordering better hair and less time thinking people are robbing them they could be great again. I am not spending my money with them anymore. Id rather purchase online.

This is gonna start out kinda strange.I dont shop here often anymore because ... Amazon is my beauty supply now. Sorry.Recently I went in for the first time in almost 2 years.This beauty supply will always have a special place in my memory because I was paying for my stuff at the counter when one of workers screamed They found Prince dead We were all fans and were stunned with disbelief. We chatted about it , I paid for my stuff and was on my way.The people here are friendly enough.They have photos on the door of shoplifters caught on camera. Sad, but a reality. I find it hard to shop here because they have TOO MUCH stuff.Its sensory overload. Turn your head and you will knock something off of a shelf. Prices are okay. I could rarely find a wig at a decent price that was normal looking. It was always stressful. Their wig set up is hard to navigate. I dont have that kind of time.I started using Amazon and never looked back. They do have acessories and Michele Obama purses . I purchased some pretty scarves for a head wrap. GREAT prices and colors.Better deal than anywhere.

GREAT customer service.... Prices are compatible to most Hair Care suppliers in the area they have a very wide selection, variety and they have things that are unusual but great! Basically you can find just about everything youre looking for Hair... Skin and nails...

This place deserves NO STARS. The manager was rude! Yelled at me. He was on the phone and I stood there waiting for him to acknowledge me. I had never been in this store before. He yells IM ON THE PHONE!! He yells at the customer! Really? I told him how rude he was. Then he told me they would not serve me. Told the cashier not to serve me. There were two other customers that heard the conversation. One had been with them for 15 years. She told them if you are not serving her I wont come here anymore. We all left. THEY DO NOT RESPECT THE CUSTOMER! Go to another beauty supply.
I have been going to this store a few years now and they are the best!! Customer service, products, prices & if I have an issue with a product they are willing to work with you (within reason). Plus they have a loyalty program (card)

It is Asian own and ran but they still stare at you like crazy if youre black. These guys are a little bit more nicer than the other ones. But I dont support these types of businesses just like I dont support liquor stores.
Very nice ppl and the store is ALWAYS clean!! Prices are a bit high but not to much. The amount I would spend in gas to travel to a different store for cheaper prices would amount to the price I would pay there. And to go travel to the cheaper stores for them NOT to have what Im looking for....that would make me really mad. So...I stick to what I know which is Star Beauty😉

The guy at the door should get tips!! He knows where everything is and is happy to answer any questions. I like him better than The cashiers to be honest.

Staff helpful, they knew where everything was, and the prices are cheaper on some items it varies. Also a plus they didnt follow us around after they provided us with help. Store was very clean and easy to navigate.

One of the better beauty supplies store in the Sacramento area. Good service and well stocked, and clean. Located in the florin mall area.
The place was great actually, a bit hard to find things which was especially noticed by other people coming up to always ask a question. A bit small, other than that great service and the people there are nice enough to show where things are and give advice about it!
Its your typical hood beauty supply. I think they overcharged me for a ponytail though. Anyways they have a good selection and they sell LA Girl concealer.

They are NEVER on time to open at 930 and when they do show up, they ALWAYS come with Starbucks. They are late because they are always at Starbucks for the whole store. Businesses should be opened at the time posted. BE ON TIME

When I went to the store today it threw me for a loop when I wanted to try on a wig she said you can only try on 3 wigs. Then I thought only in the hood but they have this kind of restriction. They lost two stars on that.

2022-03-06Went in about a week ago and spent $272.00 on 22” 100% remy hair. I have had them in about a week. The hair got really dry and started breaking and clumping. I did a “burn test” to see it if was real and it melted and curled like synthetic hair. It was synthetic. I called the store and he stated with out a receipt or the package there’s nothing they can do to help me. I wasn’t expecting to receive fake hair for the price I paid. I am disappointed that they simply stated they couldn’t help me. The man stated that they have had this problem before acknowledging what I was saying but still said he couldn’t help me.

2021-11-10They did have a few hair extensions that I havent seen in any other beauty supply stores but they only had like 2 colors to pick from. I was in the store for about 45min wasnt approached by anyone to see if I needed helpThe way the security guy was acting I assume they get a lot of shopliftersMaybe if the staff where a little more interactive with shoppers that wouldnt be as much of an issue

2022-01-07Shameful First and last time in that store. The wig I purchased had a price of $29.99 for human hair. I bought the mannequin head and asked for one from the back. I get to the front it’s $39.99! $10 more. They may have gotten away with the scamming no refunds/no adjustments had i NOT took a pic of the wig and sent it to a friend for opinion. Very sneaky!

2020-08-01This place is always clean and has friendly staff. The selection of products for natural is pretty good from cheap to higher end. The selection of weave hair is okay, considering the size of the store. The wigs selection is pretty good and I love how they order all kinds of colors too. Plus I never have to park too far away.
