Beyond helpful and very kind. The employee stocking the probiotics answered all my questions and then some and never once making me feel like i was asking dumb questions never made me feel like any less of a person for not knowing about probiotics instead was very helpful and shared alot of knowledge on them. I look forward to shopping there more often and recommend this sprouts to everyone!
I normally shop at this place 3 times a week. Store is usually clean and organized. I grabbed an item that was on special for $2.39 (original price $4.47) which seemed pretty good to me, so I decided to grab two. I normally don’t mind reading at the price tag to make sure it maches the item description..When I went to pay for my groceries, I noticed at the register that this item scanned $4.47 instead of $2.39, therefore I told the cashier(Alicia) that this item was on sale according to the big tag placed below the small tag that has original price. She said it was impossible for this item to be on sale for such a low price that I must’ve grab the wrong item or got mistaken. With a bad attitude she went to check if that was the price. When she came back she said that by mistake the store displayed the item with the wrong price and that I should’ve check in the small tag to see that the item matched the description for the tagged sale price. She was kind in a rush and asked me “so do you want it or not” I wasn’t even mad nor saying anything for her to act rude. Some stores honor a posted price if it’s simply a mistake, and I wasn’t asking for that either. I didn’t buy the items due to her bad attitude. She (Alicia) also had a similar issue with the lady in front of me. She didn’t even mind asking if I found everything I was looking for, like other cashiers kindly do. Instead a young man (African American)assisting with bagging groceries kindly ask me if everything was okay. Next time I’ll just avoid paying at her register. Alicia the cashier is my reason for one star.
The employee stocking the probiotics was extremely helpful and had lots of knowledge in regards to the probiotics ,answering all my questions and then some of and never once making me feel like i was asking dumb questions or that i was. Any less of a person for not knowing. I wish i had gotten his name so i could mention it however, it was a good experience and i look forward to shopping there more often and recommend this sprouts to everyone !
Came in to do just some shopping it was a great day until I stepped in to sprouts in Eastlake San Diego California I asked for as I go to pay for my items one of my items came out to be 3 times more than the advertised price as I tell the manager Anthony he gets very confrontational and gets in my personal space and he told me that’s the price if you like it. So first thing I don’t think he was professional at all he got in my face like if he wanted to fight me this isn’t the first time this happens and sprouts please fix this issue these type of people should lent have these positions they are unprofessional and the manager name is Anthony. If anybody should be the manager it should be the assistant manager she ended up apologizing for him because he just walked away from me very unprofessional and I will post a bad review until this gets resolved. Vons will never do this to there customers
I like coming here, its clean and organized. I am giving two stars though because they could be better about the six feet apart. At the registers customers get too close and the cashiers dont say anything about it to enforce it. Other than that my experiences here have been good.
Always stocked. Always fresh. Lots of the items in the health department are marked up from online vendors but...you dont have to pay shipping and the items are there at the moment you need them. I also appreciate the beer selection and the fact that they hire many students from them area in providing them a good starting job.
Best deals are on fruits and vegetables. Meats, not such a good deal although sometimes the sales prices are okay. Stuff you scoop out of bins usually a good deal. Prepackaged stuff not such a good deal. They freeze a lot of their bread before putting on shelves, which I have had issue with. (Mold in 5 days). Overall its a good store, but you will still need to go to a bigger store to fill in some items.
The facility and workers themselves are fantastic very attentive and helpful. A1 service from the people at the deli they never cease to do the most for you with a smile. Takes a little bit of time to get your order but worth the wait. As for what I can say about the customers there are definitely at least a few entitled rich kids walking around thinking they are above the mask mandate as I saw a young adult who had his mask around his ears but didnt care to put it over his mouth and nose and was very blatantly talking to the people at the deli making an order letting his spit fly. It put the workers in a hard position because apparently no one told him to actually cover his orifices which is why they dont get 5 stars
Since the lockdown, I had not gone to my favorite Sprouts until a couple days ago. I love this store. I miss the self-serve areas, but they still sell the same stuff, just pre-packaged, so no problem there. One thing I was pleased to learn is you can bring reusable bags, you just have to put your groceries away yourself...which is very easy. Overall, a good shopping day. I will be going back soon.
Its always so freaking crowded in there. Its hard to get around, especially if you have a shopping cart or a cane. People are always bumping into my little mother, and never say excuse me or apologize. Im waiting for one day something really bad happens. Seems like very rude people shop there. They do however have great prices on their produce. They have great quality products, the premade meals are very good.
This is my favorite grocery store!!! We love all of the Sprouts brand items as they are delicious and are reasonably priced. The procedure is tremendous and is again a great price. The meat counter can get a little pricey for certain items but its always worth it. They also have a very robust vitamin/ supplement shoppe in the store as well as great bulk items.
This is my least favorite Sprouts location. Ever. Something less than awesome always happens when i shop there. I have decided not to shop there anymore because the enployees are rude and the items I go there to buy are not in stock. I even tried to voice some concerns with an assistant manager on my last ever visit and she just argued back at me. Super professional. This is not the Sprouts market you know and love. Keep driving and go to the other one with nice, helpful, professional staff.
Large selection of produce, both organically-grown and conventional, and great prices. They have a fabulous deli, a good variety of canned/boxed specialty items, though their prices arent as good as Trader Joes for that type item (and with a TJs in the same shopping center, theres really no reason to pay more). The store brand is good quality. Their customer service is friendly and helpful. The parking is ample and easy.My only complaint is that this store location and the one in Chula Vista are owned separately from ALL the other Sprouts stores in the county, which means you cant use a corporate-issued gift card, nor make returns from corporate stores. Its slightly deceitful, since they use the Sprouts name and everything else looks the same. Its only when you go to use a gift card or make a return that you find that out. They should either join the fold or use a different name, in my opinion.
I went into Sprouts on one the best weeks of the year. I believe every quarter all of the stores have a massive sale on all vitamins oils anything thats in that area so there was a lot of things I needed and got for a great price. The staff was very helpful with finding herbs estranged fruits and even supplying me with beneficial free gifts!!
I like Sprouts as a place to get health oriented food and decent produce at a fair price. Especially if you watch the weekly sale flyers. You can save a lot. In their vitamins and beauty. If you buy $100 or more you get 10%off. That is on top of any sale price. 2 times a year they have a 25% off all health and beauty, and in between there is always a number of products on sale.
They carry the brand I like, but I was actually told by the associate handling the ordering in that section, that special ordering would be a pain for her to help me with. So I just thanked her and said maybe I should just order online from another retailer then. I spent some time in retail and never would have turned down an opportunity to have a new regular customer. Otherwise the store was great!
There are two sections of this store to review. The main market with all of your grocery needs: fresh produce, pantry items, frozen section, and dairy, along with vitamins, health, and beauty. The second section is the deli where they make fresh fruit smoothies, sandwiches, offer a variety of picnic salads, and the meat department. The store is a nice size, with great variety. The quality of the produce is good. The staff is friendly and helpful. The prices are comparable to Trader Joes, and what they dont have Sprouts does, and vice versa. I do most of my shopping here.
Always have a great experience here. Love buying my fruits, veggies and meats here the produce is always fresh and lasts more than buying at wal mart. Big plus good selection on wines. Everytime I need help with something the staff is always friendly and ready to help. The cashiers are awesome, Max in particular is awesome always has great energy!Love shopping here.
Not sure what changed. Staff always used to be attentive but last few trips customer service has been abysmal. Just this morning I had a long wait at deli while guys behind the counter were busy BSing. Then had to wait for cashier to wrap up discussing plans for the weekend before they could ring me up. If someone is working hard and takes a moment to get to me I understand, I get frustrated when socializing takes priority over doing your job... When I got home and realized what I was charged exceeded what was posted in store. Its not enough to return to store but just shows the carelessness and lack of pride held by the Eastlake Sprouts team.
On thursdays military discount for active duty & veterans. Their produce cant be beat. Loads of healthy food here. My fav grocery store. Only drawback is they are independently owned and dont always honor their sale paper, the one on H St. also. And when items are on sale, they dont reflect when they are rang up. You have to watch the cashier. Theyve over charged me for sale items couple of times
One of my favorite markets on Earth. Everything is so fresh, the store is clean, and all the people are beautiful. Really, I mean it. I have been shopping here for 4 years now and I even asked to buy a t-shirt but those are only for employees, LOL. Oh well, If they would sell me or give me a shirt I would wear it proudly. I love this place. The produce inspires you to eat better. I think I will go make me a salad now...
My go to market for meats and seafood. They always have specials in their produce too. Their medicine section is huge and have many herbal products. I live the local bunny and their bulk section. You can shouse nuts or flours and even spices. I love it. They also have an Alkaline water machine to refill your 5 gallon water bottle.
I wish it were bigger and offered bigger selections. Some items I seek are always sold out and I ask staff about it. Some staff say they will check (and they do or call someone), others are like, oh well, were out...never check and makes it seem like theyre lazy. Overall fair prices, clean and health conscious.
Ive been going to this location for 7 years! Staff is ALWAYS friendly! The butcher team is excellent! Stockers have always found a way to answer my questions when an item has been moved. Theres no way you cant eat healthy on a budget here! Great selections always! I do miss the honey bbq wings (well my son especially)! Customer service, great prices, and great food! If you dont find it here you can walk across the parking lot to TJs. Seriously...quest service is very important to me and theyve got it! Way to go team!
Rude customer service in the produce and meat departments; unless youre a Spanish speaking female. Quality of the fresh fruit and produce has gone downhill tremendously. I can no longer recommended this place. They are buying cheap, inferior fruits which are either over, under ripe, or bruised. 8 out 10 fruits I end up throwing out. So where are the savings?!? Think about how much the store pays for something when they sell it to you for .48 cents a lb and still need to turn a profit on that item? Lost leader, I dont think so.
Ok, some pros and cons here...Pros: Prices are pretty great - significantly and consistently better than the corporate stores.Great selection.Cons: If you go at peak times, there are usually long lines - they need to open more registers once there are more than 3 people in line!Beer selection was phenomenal 2 years ago - Now its pretty lame. What happened? Other than BevMo there are no other stores to get craft beer from in Eastlake. Capitalize on this!
Sprouts its a very nice place its clean and it has handicap parking in the front of it and the boys that stuck the fruit and vegetables they are a little until themselves and now theyre young and if you ask him for something theyll go out of it for you but theyre very nice and there is a really nice place and I like it..and the doors open automatically and I do have a cart that you can sit in and drive to the store thats it buy.
If you dont double check, the will OVERCHARGE you.Ive been a customer for over 5 years and during the last year Ive catched them trying to charge me more than the amount on the price tags. Just in the last 2 months, Ive caught them committing these errors more than 6 times, of course, the error is ALWAYS to their advantage, not yours.Just yesterday I bought some probiotics and they overcharged me over $10 dlls. After speaking to a supervisor I got my money back, but the point is that if you dont check that all the prices are the same on the shelves and at the register, you will be taken for a ride.If this happened to me 6 times (that I noticed) in the last 2 months, can you imagine the kind of money theyre FRAUDULENTLY taking from all their customers?PLEASE double check everything or they will rob you.
The worst of all Sprouts I have been to. Deli department not having Tuna salad nor Abocado for sandwishes for 3 consecutive times. Had to wait 25 min. For a sandwish. When spoke with deli manager for lack of ingredients She recomended to call prior to visit, I find that ridiculos if I decide to go to a deli is expecting them to have what they offer. I had to put one star in order to review but I would put 0 stars if I could.
Fresh fruit and vegetables all source of protein and you find everything you need to leave a healthy life I love it they can improve they can improve this why are given for starts are they need to hire happy people and vitamins department they need they need to hire people that wants to work and like the job theyre doing not just there for the paycheck
If ya trying to eat healthy, and on the low, in Chula Vista then shop at sprouts. They have a super dank beer section, fancy water, best selection on dressing, fresh produce oriented. They have a bitchen deli that offers sandwiches that are way better for you then crap-tastic subway and they are cheaper then a foot long before the price bump.
Every Sprouts is different, but most have the same products. Unfortunately this location doesnt have a real deli. They have raw meat and fish, but only three deli meats on display and a handful of salad options. I had to go to Vons to get lunchmeat.Update: in this area specifically, Wal-Mart has the biggest lunchmeat selection at their deli.
Sprouts seems to be one of those grocery stores that cant figure out what it is. Is it a health food store? Is it a mainstream grocery store? Is it somewhere in between? In reality it seems that every time I go to a Sprouts, they have a small selection of the sorts of things that I would buy, more on the health food store side, but not enough selection.

2022-05-11I am giving one star for employer named Alicia. She asked if I needed any bags and I said yes and that I would be paying with EBT card. At the time I was about to pay she doubtfully asked me (not in a nice way) if that was an EBT card and if I could show it to her and I responded that I did not have to do that. It seems she was not happy with my answer because without being careful she forced all my food items in one bag (two chip bags were cracked). Cashier Alicia did not show any good costumer service. Noting compared to Trader Joe’s costumer experience. Not happy with this experience at Sprouts Farmers Market.

2022-01-22Sprouts has the best deli sandwiches made to order hands down. This was my first time ever ordering a sandwich and it was indeed fresh, yummy, with quality tasty ingredients. The price for the size sandwich is an absolute steal. So if you are looking for a fresh sandwich with quality ingredients at a great price of just $4.99, then head on over to your local Sprouts.

2019-05-25An exceptionally clean market with fair prices and quality products. Great selections from the butchers counter to the cheese case, to the wide variety fresh fruits and vegetables. Their fresh breads and deli make for a delicious sandwich on the go. They also have a very large selection of nutrition and healthcare products. Gluten free, organic, sugar free, theyve got it all. Oh, forgot to mention the olive bar, wine and craft beer. 😀
