Joshua was extremely helpful and kind! He made our stay so wonderful. We loved the bunk beds in the room and the spacious offerings for storage. Hot breakfast is nice before taking off to the parks. The CVS is so close for any last minute needs. Overall great experience and would stay here again
Large rooms made it easy for our family to spread out. The hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was adequate for what our family wanted. We loved watching the Disneyland fireworks from the pool - that was a nice perk. The pool was a little small, but the awesome gym facilities made up for that. Overall this is a great value for the price considering the easy walk to the parks. Thanks!
Don’t stay here if you want to sleep after a long day. Extremely loud. Homeless gentleman outside our room at 11:30pm at night blasting music non stop. When we called front desk and physically went down to request their help, they said they had security that would take care of it. Security never came to try to ask him to leave. Music continued on. Also, no available rooms to relocate.
The SpringHill Suites was perfect for what our family needed. The staff were very welcoming on arrival and the process was fast. After a 10 hour drive it was nice to be in our suite after a few minutes checking in. Parking was great too, whipped down below to the parking garage and there is an elevator to take you from parking to your floor. Rooms were clean and had everything we needed. Staff are currently not cleaning rooms or replacing towels etc due to Covid or possibly short staffing but it wasnt a problem for us. We asked for fresh towels at reception when we needed them and the staff were very accommodating. Coffee and basic breakfast available in the morning but the line is long. No problem to us either, as we have patience! went pretty fast actually. This location is very close to Disneyland and took ten minutes to walk to the front gates. Excellent pizza place on the route home that you can order online and pick up after the park closes. CVS on the bottom floor of the hotel was extremely convenient too. We took five teenagers so having snacks downstairs at a CVS saved us a lot of money! all around perfect spot for a quick family visit to Disneyland.
We have stayed at this property numerous times. The staff is so friendly. Check in is quick and easy. We always book the kid suite and it is perfect for our family. Breakfast has many options and is delicious. Appreciate the safe underground parking. Close walking distance to the Harbor Entrance at Disneyland resort. And the CVS is great for last minute needs.
The rooms were good size and reasonably clean. My family and I enjoyed the family rooms with bunk beds. The walk to Disneyland is short and easy. CVS in the parking area made last minute needs readily available. Staff was inconsistent with attitudes and willingness to help. Could use improvement of night shift staff.
My husband and I were anxious to return to Disneyland on opening day (coincidentally the same day as our 6 month wedding anniversary) and wanted to find a hotel nearby where we could walk to the parks. We decided to make a weekend of it and discovered SpringHill Suites Anaheim Resort/Convention Center. It was about an 11 minute walk to Disneyland with reasonable pricing for parking (cheaper than Disney’s), so we could leave our car there. I had called ahead to request a high floor room, and I mentioned we were celebrating our 6 months of being married, so I wanted to get a nice, quiet room. Daniel, the General Manager, worked some Disney magic and gave us a beautiful corner room with a sweet little note and some additional freebies to congratulate us. It was a very sweet surprise and such a great way to start our trip! In fact, from the minute we walked into the hotel, we felt very welcomed. We were greeted by a very kind lady at the front desk who gave us our Gold member gift bag. The staff we communicated with during our stay was very professional and welcoming. My husband and I loved our entire stay, and we cannot wait to go back!
Our first stay at this hotel and we were pleasantly surprised. It is close to the resort (5-10 minute walk) and we were likely to be fortunate to get good parking. The price after all the add-ons (parking, resort fees, etc) put the price in the range of other hotels. The room was spacious, modern and clean. Breakfast was great. People were friendly and helpful. Only negative is we were in a hotel room directly above Katella and Harbor and up until about 11:00 pm it sounds like we are a NASCAR speedway. Fortunately the traffic dies down after that, or I just sleep through it. Had I been on the other side of the hallway (even numbered room), I think the experience would have been perfect.
The hotel is nice. The staff is friendly. It was nice that breakfast was included. The walk to Disneyland is only a couple blocks. The parking is tight especially for our suburban but it was nice that we didnt have to come and go. We just parked it while we stayed. Using the room key to access the elevator was a pain at times.
The room definitely met expectations! It gave us Disney vibes as we walked in. We loved our room! We enjoyed the continental breakfast. 10-15 min walk from Disneyland. The only thing I would change is the $24 plus tax fee for parking. It should be free or included on the rate. The underground parking was to small and has a leak while we were staying there.
This is a great hotel for families visiting the Disneyland Resort. It is conveniently located with a short walk to the park. The rooms are spacious and very nice to stay in. The staff is very friendly, and the hotel offers a great free breakfast in the morning. Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf is also right next door! The rooftop pool is really unique and fun too.
Nice hotel with convenient access to a great coffee shop and CVS in the building, about 15 minutes from the gates at Disneyland. I am mostly reviewing just to make sure folks know that they are not enforcing mask-wearing inside and have inconsitent guidence on masks. There were more people in masks outside at Disneyland than inside at our hotel. There was signage on the elevator about wearing masks, and thats it - and then the room had some paperwork that said vaccinated folks did not have to wear them indoors (which, of course, makes enforcement impossible). With omicron in our midst, this is an outdated policy. If you care about indoor masking, try a different spot.
Weve stayed at this property several times as its close to Disneyland, Angels stadium, and several concert/festival venues. The property itself is nice and we love the easy access to CVS and Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf downstairs. The rooms are nice and rather large! The rooftop deck/pool is great and has a wonderful view of the Disney fireworks. The hotel was clean and taking proper measures with Covid concerns. Staff is friendly and helpful. Parking can be a bit stressful upon checking in as you need to park in the smaller lot area to check in, and then once checked in with a key, you have access to the underground parking or the parking structure located on property. Well be back!
Staff was really friendly and greeted us everytime we walked in. Rooms were spacious and we had 5 people sleeping in our room! Views on the roof top pool was awesome and we watched the Disney fireworks while eating dinner. Best part we arrived much earlier then expected and the gentleman at the front gave us a parking pass so we could enjoy disneyland and just check in later. My kids had a blast, my wife was happy, and I enjoyed my trip! Thank you.
I absolutely loved this hotel. It was affordable for our family, staff was very helpful and the hotel was clean. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to any families visiting the happiest place on earth. With the tram down our walk to Disneyland was shorter than our walk from the parking structure to the entrance. I love this hotel!
Our family enjoyed our Disneyland stay and really liked this hotel. It’s a little farther than other hotels we have stayed in from the park but the large rooms, microwave, fridge and good breakfast choices made it worth it. My only complaint was the slow shower drain.
Our room was spacious and clean. We are a family of 5 and it’s hard to find hotel rooms that can accommodate 5 people without forcing you to book 2 rooms or a suite . We loved all the attention to details.. The free breakfast in the morning was very much appreciated and the food was delicious. I highly recommend this hotel to any families traveling in the Anaheim area
Stayed at the SpringhHill for 6 nights. Was pleasantly surprised not only by the size of the room for the dollar amount paid each night, but also how well/clean the hotel was kept with the high traffic it receives (being next to the disney parks). The staff was very accommodating and always had a smile. If my family finds ourselves in that area again, we will definitely be staying at this particular SpringHill!
We stayed here because it was in walking distance to Disneyland and had plenty of space for all 5 of us and accepted pets. The breakfast was great and the staff was kind and helpful. Roof top pool and patio was a great place to catch the Disneyland fireworks on the weekends!
Just extremely magical and beyond perfect. This place truly exceeded my expectations and met every need. I want to point out, because I havent seen anyone else mention this, the Kid Suite isnt JUST for the kiddos!!! Lol. I had a pack of friends (yes were all adults unfortunately) for a Disney trip and the Kids Suite perfectly fit us all spaciously and cozily after a long day in the parks. We had a blast and Im so thankful this kind of room option is available.Cant recommend enough and will definitely be staying here every time I make my way back to Disneyland! Thank you Springhill!!! :)
The location is perfect for going to Disneyland. Food is provided and very good. Parking is available. The rooms are very family-friendly and clean. The beds are very comfy after walking around the park. It was a 2nd time staying here and would love to come back when we go back to the parks!
Great hotel about a ten-minute walk from the park entrance. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The room could have been cleaned/maintained better - there were some stains on the lamps and a couple of tears in the chairs - but the issues were mostly aesthetic and everything worked properly. Wish there were more outlets (Ive learned to bring an outlet splitter with me while traveling). Breakfast was good and hot... very busy though (naturally, considering the location). There are several pharmacies/convenience stores nearby and a few restaurants across the street (I recommend the carne asada plate from Sabrosada). Overall I would recommend this hotel and would definitely consider staying here again.
Hotel was very clean, breakfast was full buffet with a lot of options, it was busier on weekend but kitchen staff was on it to refill. From front desk everyone was helpful and polite. Even they let us check in early on our first day, we parked the car at hotel and walked to Disneyland( 6-8 mints).
Looking at the reviews Im surprised Im the only person to write this...We got a kids suite with bunk beds. The bunk beds were FILTHY. There were fruit snacks stuck alongside and underneath the mattress. We looked under the mattress after finding a bug in the bed. Im assuming it wasnt a bed bug because we didnt see anything else. But with food stuck all under and alongside the mattress it would draw bugs out. We wont be staying here again. Too many other good options on this strip.
A giant thank you to Lana, Ashley, and Christian who made our check-in experience seamless, and made us feel so valued. We requested an early check-in, and wow did they come together to make it happen. They added extra time to our trip, and made our stress disappear. On a separate note, the breakfasts are lovely. Who doesnt want to be surprised with Mickey waffles?
Hair in the sheets, had to request new ones and put on ourselves. Pretty clear they hadnt been changed prior. Parking is a little overpriced. Breakfast is just OK. Beds are not that comfortable. Great location close to Disneyland, about a 15-20 min walk with kids to the gate.
Everything here was ideal. Clean, friendly, convenient. The only flaw was they don’t tell you how to use the elevator. So if you stay here, which I do recommend, and you’re using the elevators from the parking garage, there is no sign there, but you need to use your room key to go up to your floor. There is a sign at the lobby elevators. Everything else was perfect!
There are some 5 star things and some 2 star things about this hotel.5 star things: Hotel staff is super nice and helpful. 15 minute walk to the Disneyland gates. Bunk beds and a pull out allows for sleeping up to 7, perfect for large families and savings vs getting two hotel rooms. Having a large CVS steps from the hotel entrance means you can get whatever you need or have forgotten for your Disneyland trip. The rooftop view to watch fireworks is great. A very average hot breakfast is provided.2 star things: this hotel starting to show wear and isnt up to Marriott standards in my opinion. The armrest on the pullout bed was fraying, the door handle too the room was incredibly sqeaky. The pool was very small and there is no hot tub. The chairs next to the pool are all fraying. Ill post a couple pictures off some of the areas showing excess wear.Overall, great value but needs some work.
The staff was courteous, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great! The room was clean and cool. The only down side was that towels don’t get replaced unless you call for them to be before the next day. If contacted the front desk at midnight, let’s say Tuesday night, they won’t send them until Thursday. They should really make it same day if that is when you contact them.
The staff was great. Very friendly and helpful. Walk to Disneyland was 10 minutes and drive to angels stadium was 10 minutes. They have 2 parking garages so always parking available. Family of 5 so it is hard to find beds for everyone. The rooms are nice with bunk beds but comforters were ripped and fraying, stains on the ground. Elevators were slow (especially during mornings). Floors on elevators were warped and cracked. Felt like the hotel was built cheap. Would stay again if other places aren’t available. Last minute trip so places were limited.
I have stayed in many hotels overnight near Disneyland, including the Disneyland Hotel itself. Until this stay I would have said nowhere else even compares to staying there. But, now I would say Springhill Suites is the place to stay because of what you get for the price. A full breakfast, excellent Family Suite room, the pool overlooks the park for fireworks, the short walk to Disneyland, and the service was exceptional. Excellent hotel, we highly recommend!
My family and I have stayed here for multiple years during our annual trips to Disneyland. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and we are often able to check in early in the morning. The hotel is an easy walk right across the street from Disneyland (probably 5-10 min max even with children or elderly walking). While the parking situation before checking in is a little tough, once we check in and have our key cards, access to the hotel’s parking garage is convenient and safe. The security features of needing a key card to access elevators and the parking garage make it clear that the hotel cares about guest safety. This is always my first choice when visiting Disneyland!
We really enjoyed our stay at the Springhill Suites Anaheim Convention Center. It was conveniently located. While it is less than a mile from the gates to Disneyland, it takes a minimum of 15 minutes to walk the route due to stop lights and other pedestrians. (We thought it would be faster because our family is really in shape, but it just couldnt go faster than the flow of traffic.) The pool location and deck were fun and nice. We used them a few times. It provided a nice place to eat dinner, while having space and a view. There werent any fireworks during our stay, but I imagine the pool deck would be a nice viewing area. The front desk staff were always nice and efficient - especially Jackie. She upgraded us to a bunk suite when there was availability (based on our elite status and that we have kids). The complimentary breakfast was handled as well as possible given the pandemic. The staff was kind and efficient and pumped people through the line quickly. (There were packaged cold cereals, yogurt, oranges, milk, juice, coffee/hot cocoa, and a small selection of warm items - usually sausage, eggs, and potatoes.) While this wasnt the usual huge spread that Marriott puts on in non-pandemic times, it was sufficient, quick, and felt safe of germ spread. Our room was comfortable. We did only request housekeeping once during a four night stay. They did a good job except the floors did not get cleaned. The CVS located in the basement was super convenient. I would (and have) recommended this hotel to friends and family.
Good Marriott close to the park. Breakfast is a very good size compared to most, staff seemed to be having a bad day, for a few days, but it doesnt take too much away from the stay. My only complaint (and I did bring this up) is all of their disabled parking spots in their garage are blocked off by old furniture and garbage. When I did bring it up to the manager on duty, I was given the brush off and told there were a few more in the parking garage across the street. So much for providing reasonable accommodation to those who have disabilities.
[Bonvoy Gold Member Review] The worst Marriott Ive ever stayed at. The room was not cleaned in great detail (found a piece of chocolate on the floor by the dresser....yuck!).They also dont clean your room daily due to COVID...give me a break. COVID has been around for almost 2 years, and will be around indefinitely and this establishment has not managed to come up with a way to provide their guests with clean suites and keep blaming the pandemic. Tried to ask for our room to be serviced but was told they need 24 hours notice. Instead we asked if they can at least empty our trash bins and provide clean towels but no one ever came.24 hours notice to clean rooms that families with young kids typically stay at. Its ridiculous. Not blaming the staff. They work hard and the 2 stars are for them. But extremely disappointed with management. Will not be back.If youre a Bonvoy member, there are lots of other Marriott chains to choose from in the area. Stay away from this one.
The rooms were average. Given these are suites I expected more but pretty basic. The sofa bed was beyond old and squeaky. The mattress was cheap and old. There was a bit of mold in the shower. Also bathroom pretty small. Convenient to walk to Disney but I wouldn’t stay here again. We didn’t get any sleep due to the street noise. You could hear everything, absolutely everything (honking, music blasting, street racing) the noise doesn’t die down till after 2am.
During our travels to this Marriott I received an email that our reservation was canceled. I even checked in two days prior to arrival date. Needless to say I was scurrying to reserve a room. Spoke to two reps who could not tell me why our reservation was cancelled. Asked if we could reinstate the reservation with the points I used to secure the room they stated no so I booked room with our Marriott card as we were en route to this hotel. Upon arrival at the hotel the front desk rep was unable to tell me why our reservation was canceled. Asked if I could use points towards our current reservation and she did not know so she spoke to her manager who simply stated no. No concessions were made and we paid for a room that was over our budget and still no answer as to why our original reservation was cancelled. My only thought is that it was a holiday weekend and we were using our Marriott points and they wanted to make money on an overpriced room. Our room was ok. Remnants of previous guests snacks were on the floor. We called three times over two days to have our hair conditioner filled, empty upon arrival.Fair hot breakfast. That was a nice treat. We have stayed at this hotel two other times before and had a great experience. But their lack of service recovery was terrible.
Upon my arrival to the property there was limited parking in front of the main lobby for check in. The property had planters in some of the spots so it was difficult to find parking. Once I entered the main lobby, check in was easy however they asked me to pay for parking up front with the same card I used to book the room which isn’t something hotels in the past have done. I entered the parking garage and found a spot on the third underground level, there was only an elevator on level 1 so I needed to carry my luggage up two stories before getting back into the hotel. The hotel elevator floors were cracked and needed repair, and the hallway leading up to my room was dirty and needed to be vacuumed. I entered the room and it was two queen beds instead of the king bed suite I had paid for with my reservation. I hauled my luggage back down to the lobby to explain I was given the wrong room and the lady at guest services told me they overbooked and upgraded our room due to the error. I frankly don’t understand how two queens is better than a single king but at this point I had no choice since the room was already paid for and non-refundable. I went back up to the wrong room and settled in, the shower floor was dirty and my shower towels had a brown crusty substance on them. The provided shampoo, conditioner, and body wash bottles were almost empty and had not been cleaned or sanitized. Later that night, my husband and I wanted to check out the rooftop pool but we were disappointed with the size and cleanliness. We felt like we were bathing in chlorine with the amount that was in the pool and the sides had mold sitting on the rim of the pool. There is no hot tub and the pool towels were also small not fit for adults. Overall, I will not be staying at this property again nor would I recommend it to anyone else to stay at. The highlight of the property is that it was on top of a CVS so it was convenient to get whatever items were needed (snacks, emergency belt, toiletries that were forgotten). The room also had 2 tv’s equipped with bluetooth and Netflix so we were able to watch our shows instead of the food channel on the regular cable selection most hotels offer. The property is also in close proximity to Disneyland and the Garden Walk so we saved money by walking and not taking an Uber anywhere.
Upon our arrival we were welcomed and greeted by staff. We were early for check in, but they were able to get us checked into a room immediately. The room was clean and tidy, along with the rest of the hotel and parking garage. It was an easy walk to Disneyland. I’d definitely stay here again.
I love staying at the Springhill Suites in Anahiem/Conv. Their staff is very welcoming and kind. They went above and beyond to help make our stay comfortable and pleasant. The hotel is kept clean and has the best fresh scent! I chose this hotel for its convenience of being close to Disneyland and how it has a CVS right underneath the hotel in case I forget something. The walk to Disneyland is about 6-8 minutes from the hotel and leads you directly into Disneyland on Harbor side.
Our stay was perfect. The accommodations were nice, and the location was perfect for walking to Disney. There were plenty of restaurants close by. Cleanliness was spot on. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was good. We look forward to coming back when the self serve breakfast is back. Just a heads up...The pool is pretty small and there is no jacuzzi. But the rooftop accommodations were really nice.
We checked in yesterday and I have never ever been treated so well at a hotel. My check in was absolutely amazing, there was a little mix up with the room and my needs were immediately accommodated with zero issue. The man at the front desk was friendly and seemed to be happy to do a good job at his job. The hotel and room are very nice and clean.
Completely enjoyed the stay. Disneyland was in the very busy opening period and this hotel made it easy to recharge every night.Just completed another Springhill stay last month and the people there was not friendly and was overall made the stay basically bad. So when you go to another hotel with the best people and staff, the stay is just night and day.
This is an excellent spot for your next Disney vacay! Its about a 10 minute walk to the park with convenient shopping and restaurants close by. The staff are friendly and helpful and the grounds and room are clean and well kept. The only complaint is during COVID restrictions the line for breakfast was a 20-30 minute wait every morning but that should relax as the COVID restrictions relax.
The rooms were clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. It was only about a 10 minute walk to Disneyland and we had many small children in tow. The only problem we encountered with our group (3 family rooms) is the lack of staff serving breakfast. There were 2 staff members taking orders and serving (all breakfasts are put in carryout containers) from the limited menu. We had no problem with the menu but the line to be served was impossibly long. Each day we tried waiting over 30 minutes but ended up leaving and walking to a nearby IHOP. It seems like this problem could be fixed by management and hopefully it will. Other than the breakfast problem, it was a nice place to stay.
The proximity to Disneyland park was awesome - cant beat it!Decent rooms, and friendly staff! My only note was the parking garage in Springhill was SMALL, so you have to park across the breezeway to the structure they share with the other hotel. (really not that bad, just a note).
Decent hotel with good location for Disneyland, however, this hotel is a bit lazy when it comes to basic services. I had to make three separate requests for extra towels (two prior to arrival and one after). The bathroom door in our room was stuck and wouldnt open so had to get maintenance up to fix it. Also, the pool opened late at 10 am and closed early at 8 pm. FYI, no jacuzzi for parents with tired feet and legs after a long day at the parks. Overall, I would choose a different hotel on my next visit.
Hotel is clean and located very close to Disneyland. The parking garage is very small and many times was full when returning for the day/night. Guests can park at the Residence Inn, which is next door, but this was not communicated to me until later, which is odd since at check-in I asked what to do if the garage is full, and was told to look for parking elsewhere and my parking would be credited for the night. Staff are very friendly, and there is a nice rooftop area where you can relax. Pool is a little small, and the gym had a few cardio machines as well as a cable setup but did not have any dumbbells.
Stayed 3 nights in June 2021. Easy walking distance to Disneyland, which was great. Check-in was easy. No perks for being Bonvoy Elite member, but not a big deal. We had the family room with bunk beds, which worked great for our family of 6. My son tried the pullout the first night, but it was so loud and uncomfortable, we didn’t use it again. There was no daily housekeeping (maybe due to staffing levels?) unless you requested it 24 hours in advance. Not ideal, but again not really a problem for a three night stay. The worst part about the room was the noise levels. I expected a newer hotel on a busy intersection to have better soundproofing but the traffic noise was very noticeable. However, what was worse was the interior noises. The noise from the hallway and surrounding rooms (especially room above) kept me awake more than I would have liked. It sounded like someone was doing aerobics in the room above me. The breakfast bar was a “grab and go” due to COVID. However, that process needs serious streamlining. It took at least 30 minutes standing in line in the morning to get breakfast. The food quality was average, about what you would expect from a “free” hotel breakfast. Overall, not horrible but I think there are better options for the price.
This hotel could be amazing because the rooms are great and big. But we weren’t able to have our room cleaned because we didn’t make a prior appointment. Also we had to ask the front desk for clean towels three times. The breakfast was inedible like they just shouldn’t even bother. And we had to pay 25.00 a day to park. I’ve stayed at other near to Disney hotels and had a better experience.
I stayed with 5 people two were early 20’s and 2 teens. There was plenty of space for us to spread out. The twin beds for the teens were not comfortable. They could fee every spring and could feel the wood frame when they would reposition. The water pressure was never more than a light sprinkle in the shower. Also if you take showers after Disney closes all the hot water is gone…so plan to be chilled.
We enjoyed our stay at the SpringHill Suites. This is our second stay when going to Disneyland. The location is perfect to walk to Downtown Disney and the parks. Staff is friendly. Rooms are clean and comfortable. We love the rooftop pool. Will definitely stay again for future visits.
I requested a high floor room in a certain area. We were celebrating our 45th wedding anniversary. When we checked in they said they didn’t have rooms in that certain area but gave one close by. They also compensated our parking for the inconvenience. The room we were given happened to be an awesome corner room. We couldn’t have ask for a better room. The view over looked the streets below and the room was perfect. Thank you to the staff for booking us a wonderful room and amazing experience for our anniversary.
Recently stayed here and was disappointed for multiple reasons. I will start out by saying that the Kids Suite was very nicely set up. We enjoyed the layout. Our issues are that the people who stayed above us were extremely loud and had kids running from one end of the room to the other. This continued for 2 days. I called the front desk and they assured me that the guests were checking out. I’m not sure if that was entirely true or if the new guests were equally loud with kids running back and forth. 3 nights there, 3 nights with no sleep. The pool situation was also irritating. There’s a sign that says no more than 6 in the pool. We couldn’t even get in to swim (which is one of the biggest reasons we stayed at this hotel). There’s no monitoring of the pool so the families that were there, stayed forever and we weren’t able to use the pool. If there’s going to be a maximum number of people than someone should be there to monitor it or have guests make reservations to use the pool for a couple hours at a time. We also called to ask for extra towels and toilet paper 3 times! Called in the morning and the towels arrived at about 5pm. We never received the toilet paper. We had to use wipes and napkins from our food orders. Our biggest issue though, which is the reason we will never stay here again, is that the room had used sun flower seeds by the kids bunk bed and used eyelashes by the nightstand in the other room. Had I seen this when we first checked in, I would’ve asked for a different room or a refund. This is probably the 2nd or 3rd time we’ve stayed at a Marriott property and we will probably never stay with Marriott again. This was EXTREMELY disturbing to see on our checkout day and we only saw it because my daughter dropped her AirPods. 2 of our kids have major health conditions which we take extra precautions with. I personally sanitize high touch areas and spray Lysol in our hotel rooms before our children enter but this wasn’t in plain sight. Would it really be a bother for housekeeping to look behind beds, under nightstands, behind toilets etc when they’re cleaning? Again, this was my BIGGEST issue. Especially being that we are still in a pandemic. We travel very often. At least once a month, and I’ve never seen a hotel be dirty like this. I mentioned it to the front desk staff when I was checking out and all I got was a “oh ok I’ll let housekeeping know”. Such a shame that housekeeping wasn’t better at their job.
I’m a local who just wanted to take advantage of the limited capacity at Disneyland. Booked at Springhill because of its proximity to the park and boy was it perfect. Not only is it less than a mile from the park, there’s a cvs literally right next door, Starbucks up the street and soooo many great eateries up the way...we didn’t get in our car for the 2 days that we stayed and that’s a wonderful thing. The hotel is updated, but beds were average...not terrible but nothing to write home about. We booked 2 rooms for a family of 7 and all were happy with the experience. Great value and even better location.
The room was fantastic, bed was very comfortable, bathroom beautiful, and very nice TV with connectivity options. Other amenities were so-so...the pool is tiny, really not big enough for more than 5 people, the continental breakfast was a grab bag of various junk food. The laundry is expensive at $5 for a load but does an OK job. Plenty to walk to from this location (including Downtown Disney). Id stay here again.
Positives: Room was clean and spacious for our family of five. Our room was ready early which was so convenient! The beds are comfy. Location convenient to Disneyland, 10 min walk. Negative: A/C vent blows right at your head onto the bed near the window. We had fourth floor room that seemed to be directly under the 5th floor gym, specifically the treadmill. Pounding, walls shaking, furniture creaking...its was really bothersome when we came back to our room to rest in the afternoon. Front desk was helpful to remedy the situation but it just seems like really poor design/placement! Walls seemed thin between rooms, I could hear the next rooms kids screaming past midnight. Which should probably be expected when booking near Disneyland.
My family and I have always choose this hotel whenever we visit the area. Unfortunately, this trip will have to be our last visit to this hotel. The amount of noise we experienced throughout our stay was beyond excessive even after being asked to be moved rooms/floors. We stayed for one night and also requested to stay another night since we wanted to explore the area more. The guests above us for both our rooms were very loud, we heard constant thuds, bangs, and stomping throughout the night after 10pm. We kindly contacted front desk and they were accommodating to call and send security.. unfortunately it didnt help much as there were still constant sounds even at 2am. If you decide to stay here, prepare for thin walls and noise. We even took a video to record the sounds we encountered throughout the night. We ended up checking out early morning and decided to move to another hotel. We have two kids ourselves and they were unable to get a decent amount of rest throughout the night. I gave the hotel 3 stars since the rooms were clean but not immaculate clean, front desk was friendly, and access to hotel rooms was easy. I appreciated the extra security for requiring a hotel key to access the elevators. We were unable to explore the hotel grounds since the precautions of covid which were understandable and unable to pick up pre made breakfast that was included.
Overall my experience wasn’t pleasant after the whole power outage happened and we had to be in the dark no electricity and with 2 toddlers it was a nightmare. The location is great though, you’re are a couple steps from Disneyland. There is a coffee bean and CVS right down stairs which is super convenient. Hoping my next stay is better and the cleanliness is improved.
The hotel was not in best area. A lot of homeless. But when we got in I did feel safe! The room we had was the kids suite and it was not cleaned very well. There was old food scraps on counter and behind tv. There was also dust on the bathroom door and dresser. Called the front desk and they brought me up supplies that included hand wipes and shampoo. The pool area was very dirty and they never cleaned it the same stuff on ground and table was there for two days. They provided green swim towels, and when my nephew put his own there were stains on it and several other towels that the maintenance guy put out were also stained. This hotel could be awesome, but the lack of cleanliness ruined it for for me. It was quite disappointing. But my nephews and niece did enjoy the room having bunk beds.
Check in was smooth and easy with Gladys. We had a wonderful time here from the morning soak in the hot tub, afternoons lounging at the pool to evenings by the fire! Breakfast provided in the mornings really helped us jumpstart our day. Location was perfect! Would definitely recommend, thank you!
Stayed at this location to visit Disneyland. The location was family friendly, and most of the facilities were very clean and well-kept. Newer pillows/sheets and carpet cleaning in the rooms wouldnt hurt.Overall, I appreciate all of the safety measures, and I would visit again if I am looking for lodging in the area.
Overall we enjoyed our stay. Staff was very friendly and it’s located within walking distance to Disneyland. We normally stay at a different property when visiting Disneyland but it was closed due to COVID-19 so we chose the Spring Hill. I would definitely return next time we visit Disneyland.
On check in the gentleman working e front desk was rude, our room was not what we had booked, nor was it stocked with towels and body wash. While the location is convenient the amenities weren’t impressive. The fitness center was only available from 10 - 8 and the pool is very small and cannot accommodate many children.
The location is perfect for Disneyland vacations. Parking isn’t a problem. My main complaint is the bed and the street noise. The bed was so uncomfortable. We’ve stayed here a few times when it first opened and it just doesn’t feel the same. I also don’t remember hearing the noise of the main intersection when it was newer. It woke us up during our stay.
This hotel is walkable to Disneyland, but it is a very long walk- about 20 minutes for us. It is very important to note that breakfast didnt open until 6:30, which is too late to eat and get to the parks in time for opening if you have magic hours that start at 7. You really need to start walking from the hotel at 6:15 if you want to have a chance to get in on time. The breakfast buffet is among the best- with something for everyone, however they had the exact same offerings every day and it was extremely busy. One day we had to sit outside to eat, which was fine, but the seats needed wiping down from the dew. We had a two queen plus sofabed room and it had a good amount of space for a family of 5. However, our 5 year old couldnt reach the sink, and there was no bath, only a shower with a door that didnt quite close. On nights when there are fireworks, there is a good view from the rooftop pool area. You cant hear the Disneyland music during fireworks, or see the castle, but they are still pretty. I would suggest this hotel if free breakfast and having a fridge & microwave are extremely important to you. Or, if you need to use points or a free night category 5 certificate. Otherwise, if I were just using cash and didnt care about breakfast, I would just spend a few dollars more to opt for the Courtyard with the waterpark which is a much easier walk.
This was the absolute best hotel Ive ever stayed in hands down. The staff all over were super friendly and helpful, greeted us everytime we would come and go, responded promptly to any requests. Not to mention we are in walking distance to every cuisine you could ever desire, a CVS on the property, a Walgreens and 7-11 across the street, and most importantly down the street from Disneyland, with a beautiful view of the fireworks from the rooftop. I only had one teeny tiny complaint....a suite that holds 7 people but only 1 bathroom?? We worked it out as we could,, but I will absolutely positively stay here again whether Im going to Disney or not!
Very Nice room, large bathroom 2 t.vs it had coffee, extra towels, extra blankets and pillows... free internet t.v, the staff leave you alone and are all around pretty polite... check out is 11 which sucks, the pool is on the roof, COOL! but its extremely small =/ but was really still enjoyable. I went with my husband and my infant son, and we were comfortable and content. =)
I was expecting a bit more. The hotel had no gift shop. The breakfast they provided was carb overload-thawed frozen waffles, and a few other crackers and such in a brown bag. Covid restrictions have lifted enough that something a little better might have been attempted. At any rate, a banana, some cheese, something balanced, might have been nice. What was great was the amount of space in the room. For our family, the size was perfect.
I like Springhill Suites for 1 night stay but anymore than that Id choose a hotel room with a kitchen or kitchenette. I like that its walking distance to Disneyland and the CVS right on property is very convenient. The front desk staff are always friendly and helpful. I do wish the washer and dryers were credit card not coin operated.
Our experience was not great, we waited over an hour for towels at the hotel pool. The breakfast line was worse then a disneyland line. There has to be a more efficient way to serve it. The person above us stomped for 2 nights in a row and we called down to the front desk multiple times to request it to be stopped.
We stayed in the kids suite, and there were so much beds and space it was amazing. The breakfast was delicious and had a lot of options, they even had Mickey Mouse waffles. My kids loved it. The Hotel is about a 10 min walk from Disneyland, and there is a CVS right below the hotel which is super convenient! Customer service was super helpful as well. We thought we lost something but found it right away and the hotel called that same day to ask if we had any luck finding it. I was honestly surprised on how much I enjoyed this hotel. I will definitely be returning to this hotel.
Overall a fantastic place to stay. Helpful staff and convenient location to everything in Anaheim. My only criticism is parking. We have a large truck that won’t for in the garage. The few uncovered spots on front are always filled with small cars that could easily fit in the garage. It’s very frustrating that these spots are not absolve for larger vehicles.
The carpet in our room was filthy! It was extremely dirty my 5 year old nephew was running around without shoes and his socks were disgusting. I dislike not having my room cleaned daily or trash thrown out. I understand with Covid they take precautions but it’s disgusting to me.
Rooms smelled of urine. Need carpet ripped out if animals are allowed like this. Constant dripping from shower head. Free breakfast was more like prison food. Small carton of milk, with small bowl of cereal, small yoplait yogurt and cereal bar. All full of sugar and hardly any protein. For guest who don’t eat dairy products this was a fail. A large reason we booked the hotel was for the breakfast since Disneyland has limited breakfast options due to Covid. Front desk was friendly and accommodating and walk was 10 min from Disney gates.
I hate to leave a bad review. I am sure the hotel itself is fine. I just dislike how unforgiving the reservation system is. My girlfriend and I had been indecisive between this hotel and one down Harbor. We had cancelled the wrong one by mistake. I called their reservation team less then a half hour later if that. There was no ability to compromise or get anywhere near the original rate. The rates apparently had almost doubled as our stay was no longer able to get the long term stay rate. This will definitely affect my decisions regarding Marriott in the future.
Clean hotel but there is an intense aroma in the lobby. If sensitive to scents this will be a trigger! Sadly, we had issues with the amount of homeless outside. Looking our window there were two drinking along the planters across the drive. A few more aggressive outside the CVS when walking to the park and two who yelled at our small children. This will be the only reason we do not return to this establishment unfortunately.
Our family of 7 including our 2 dogs usually stay at the Disneyland resort for convenience but the rates for their rooms far exceed the usage. We decided to shop around, for the first time in 15 years, and landed staying at Springhill Suites at Anaheim. The walking distance from the SpringHill to Disneyland Park was nearly identical to the walk from the Disneyland Hotel, thru Downtown Disney. The amenities, room size, STAFF, and COST will make our family return to SpringHill again anytime we plan another bi-yearly trip to see the Mouse!!!!!
Good location to Disneyland and DCA (went for A Touch of Disney Event). Staff was nice, but didn’t go over important things when we checked in, like the buffet closed (offered a school type paper sack breakfast) which we found out on last day or that you need to use your room key to get into lobby and use for elevator. Found out by reading paper signs in strange places. Room was clean, nothing special. Dated and uncomfortable chairs and couch. Good shower pressure.
We had a wonderful stay for our family of 6: 2 adults, 3 kids and 2 toddlers. The bunk bed /family suite is amazing and the rooms are large and boast ease and convenience. The breakfast offered is amazing as is the staff that has to take care of the massive mess left by the guests after the morning rush of families feasting before they left for Disneyland. Just be advised: parking is available first come first serve and limited to their 1 floor underground level and comes at a dear cost of $28/day. . . for those of us who prepaid our trip and were not advised our car would be charged $28 a day to visit their parking lot and not move it wasnt an appreciated extra cost. The staff was very gracious and accommodating of all the groups I experienced rooming at the hotel. **Fireworks on the pool deck were amazing, perfect sight line for the evening Disney fireworks! The only thing I wish I could have had for a family room was a bath tub as the littlest ones prefer baths to showers but other than that everyone was wonderful.
Really nice hotel. The rooms were very clean, the pool and gym were amazing. I was a little sad they didnt have a hot tub, but other than that everything about it was amazing. You are literally right across the street form Disneyland. Its about a 10 minute walk to the front gate. The complimentary breakfast was good, they had Mickey mouse waffles which were fun. The hotel smells great. It just feels like a premium hotel. I dont stay in nice hotels too often, but this was one of the nicest hotels that I have stayed in for some time. The costumer service was also great, staff was friendly and welcoming.
Very clean, friendly staff, competitive price, mid-tier room, excessive street noise and upstairs neighbor that heel walked around for 1.5 hrs while we were trying to go to sleep. We opted to skip the breakfast and instead grab muffins from the coffee shop around the corner.
My room was not cleaned properly since someones lunch was left in the mini fridge. The tags said it was a week old. I called a couple of times to request clean towels and i was told I needed to pick them up since no one was on duty. I spent three nights at this hotel and it was not cheap. Definitely expected better service.
This hotel has the best breakfast! The staff is knowledgeable about all things Disneyland (the reason we were there). They even had a map of suggested running routes for me when I asked. It is clean, close to Disneyland, and they have the CVS Pharmacy right there which is SO helpful! We loved the family suite with the bunk bed! It worked perfectly for our large group both times we stayed. We will be back again!
The suite it self was huge we loved how spacious it was but the cleanliness of the suite was a big turn off. There was brown stuff in the ceiling, there’s was white residue on the side tables by where the coffee was located, some of the towels had what appeared to have food on them. I ended buying towels at cvs. It just didn’t feel clean.
Me and my family checked in to go to Disneyland for my daughters 5th birthday! Upon check-in which was super simple and wonderful we are greeted with balloons and it is very small gift that just made my daughters entire day she was not expecting that. The room was absolutely immaculate service was unmatched the stay over all was great! Theres a Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf downstairs if you dont want to have the very large breakfast that is offered at the hotel Disneyland is only about a 10-minute walk theres also a 7-Eleven across the street for any other necessities that you need if you cant find it at the attached CVS!! The service and kindness of the staff was impeccable. They must have done this recently since we have stayed there in the past but they have a sliding privacy door that separates the bedrooms which was very nice for us! Theres also two TVs in the room so the children can relax and unwind watching their favorite shows why me and Mommy could unwind in our own little area with our own TV. The cleanliness of the room was amazing the friendliness of the staff was amazing you couldnt beat the location I would recommend this hotel to anybody!!
I’m very pleased with our stay at this hotel. We booked it as a Disney Good Neighbor hotel and they are really close to the parks, it takes about 10-15mins to walk to the park. Or they also have bus transportation to take you to Disney, which we also got and that was great. I loved how very easily the staff was able to answer any questions we had, not only the receptionist, but the housekeepers too. The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Our kids loved that the pool was at the very top and that you could see some of the rides from there. The only downside if you’re booking it as a Disney Good Neighbor hotel is that Disney California will not let you get on rides as promised through the Early Magical hour, I’m not sure if Disneyland will since we didn’t get a chance to try it out there. Overall this hotel was great and I already recommended it to family members.
When arriving to this hotel I wasn’t greeted by anyone , just a group of young women at the front desk on their phones. After standing there for 2 minutes I finally was checked in , but wasn’t asked to upgrade or give me a credit for my room as I was offered the VIP status for staying at this hotel . When I got to my room and closed the door I was meet with a pile of dust and dirt with garbage behind my sliding door to my suit . None of the lamps worked in the room was very disappointing since it was a highly recommended hotel . Took my son to the pool to find more garbage and broken umbrellas everywhere . Not even 5 minutes in the pool and the light for the under water wall was floating in the pool with electrical wires hanging out . Very very very disappointed in this hotel will never stay here again nor will I recommend it to anyone
During these troubling times, it’s amazing to see a team such as the one at SpringHill Suites at Anaheim Resort/Convention Center. They were very attentive to not only my family & I, but the other guest. They followed all COVID safety guidelines & enforced them. We felt very safe during our time there. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Such an awesome stay, we will definitely come back.
Nice hotel, clean and safe location. Pool is small with decent size patio area for parents to lounge while kids swim. Small but nice and useable gym to get those thru who need a work out fix.Good location from Disneyland, about 1 mile hotel to entrance gates of park. Easily walkable down Harbor Ave.
We stayed here as a family of six in February as part of our Disneyland vacation. The hotel is about 10-15 minutes away from Disneyland on foot and had a direct path to get there. We stayed in a Junior Suite and had room for all four of our kids. Our two year old slept on the sofa bed and it was fine for her needs, but might have been a little uncomfortable for a larger person. Breakfast had lots of great options and we were pleased that we could swim in the small outdoor pool even during a chilly February night. The water was just warm enough to enjoy. I wish that they had a hot tub as that would have felt amazing after a long day in the park. I was also surprised that there was no stool for young kids in the bathrooms of the suite focused on children and families. In all, we had a great time and would recommend to others. The location has a Walgreens and CVS pharmacy adjacent and there are several quick food options across the street that we enjoyed.
The morning breakfast lines are too long they need a better system to get people through the line (this is mostly for the hot food). The eggs taste terrible. Pancakes or waffles would have been a better option. You have to wait in the long line which is long because of the hot food even when you are just getting a quick grab and go cold food. The works were wonderful but there needs to be a better system in place.
We got a great deal to stay here. We came for one night, and we were able to check in and walk right over to Disneyland. Spent a couple of hours, stayed the night, and went back the next day. They were super accommodating. The staff is great. They allowed us to keep our car in the garage, while we went back to Disneyland the next day. Our room was great, for us and our 2 year old. The night we stayed our room faced Disneyland and we were able to watch the fireworks. We will come back here for sure. Totally recommend this place.
I love this hotel for my family for our Disney trips,it is two blocks away from the entrance but its super clean and to me thats priority. The rooms have great comfortable beds and pillows. The breakfast is complimentary and tastes good. The furniture in room all looks fairly new and the bathroom is nice and clean. I plan on staying here every time we go go Disneyland because the pros are just great!
Overall, my stay was great. The staff was helpful. The room was nice and clean. The only thing that we didn’t like too much was the breakfast. After waiting in line for food, the sausage, potatoes and eggs were over cooked and dry. We only utilized the free breakfast one day due to this.
The hotel its self was nice the staff was nice and very welcoming when we had an issue which was not a big deal they legit sent someone up right away to fix the bathroom fan that we thought was broken but it was in fact not broken but just really quiet which was nice the maintenance man was very nice. We did not have any issues with our stay the only downside was the parking which we had to pay for each day($24) i thought it was included other places closer to disney charged ten dollars per day but oh well. The breakfast was good staff was constantly replacing food that was low it was very clean as well checkin/checkout was super fast. I would stay here again since it was so nice.
My family enjoyed our one night stay. Pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the interior and exterior of the hotel. Spacious and relaxing rooms.Wish it had a full restaurant and bar in the hotel. The lobby was modern, yet doesnt invite anyone to relax (perhaps by design to keep everyone focused on other adventures). Our destination was not Disneyland, but we enjoyed being able to walk over to downtown Disney. I would stay there again, especially if I was taking teenagers who loved the pullout bed and luxurious bedding.
Nice big family suite, had two Twin bunk beds, Sofa bed, and two “queens” but I felt they were more full beds but I could be wrong. Overall the hotel room was nice and the breakfast was decent, the Mickey Mouse waffles were delicious. I would say the dining area is crowded so don’t bring strollers right there like I did, Disneyland is a quick 10 min walk down the street, I think it’s an excellent location along with plenty of food and shopping stores
This hotel is an excellent one to stay at. Very convenient location to Disneyland (walking distance). Modern design! Clean, and comfortable! The breakfast buffet is huge...well stocked with all your breakfast needs. The hotel staff is accommodating, cordial, professional, considerate, and just plain kind. They really go out of their way for you with a sincere smile and a friendly positive attitude.
The location was perfect for our one day trip to Disneyland. You do have to pay for parking, but the walk was 10 mins or less, so was nice not to have to pay for parking twice. The room was fine, nothing extraordinary, but worked for what we needed it for. The staff was extremely pleasant, all associates from the front desk, to those we encountered in the halls were all incredibly friendly. My only complaint was the bathroom wasn’t as clean as I would have liked to have seen. It wasn’t dirty necessarily, just could’ve been a bit cleaner. All in all though, if we were to do another Disneyland trip I’d likely stay here again.
I’m a travel agent wasn’t paid for this review this Hotel is great place for families especially with small kids and the have rooms that can accommodate 7 the rooms are spacious and they have a nice rooftop heated pool not very big though and nice sitting area there as well to relax and gym amenities . They are attached to Cvs Pharmacy awesome to get all your things you left behind. I would recommend the Hotel for families for sure.
I wasnt too sure about this place when I booked my room but when I got there I was mad at myself for not staying here sooner. I love the Marriott but I like this place even more. It was big clean and the people that work there are very friendly and very helpful. Plus the breakfast even though it was a grab-and-go breakfast was still spectacular I will stay here again and again and again. This has become my new favorite Hotel.
SpringHill Suites at Anaheim Resort/Convention Center is a great location for the convention center (12 min walk) and Disneyland (15 min walk). We visited both places during this last trip. There are also lots of places to eat nearby and Anaheim Garden Walk (less than 10 min walk) has food, not much shops and a kids indoor play place. The hotel room itself was ok. We stayed in a suite with 2 queen beds which was laid out just like in the pictures. For those traveling with little ones, just a reminder that there is a shower stall bu no bathtub. I cant say our room was the cleanest when we arrived, but it wasnt bad either. The pool is located on the 5th floor and is a popular place to watch the Disney fireworks. I would suggest getting there early and maybe even just ordering food like pizza and hanging out up there. The hotels actual parking lot is a bit small in my opinion but there is overflow parking nearby in the neighboring Marriott property. Breakfast is complementary with the usual yogurt, bagel, scrambled eggs, cereal, fruit, waffles (seems to be the most popular so theres usually a line), etc. It does get busy at times but in our 5 days there I didnt notice a consistent pattern in crowds.Overall, this is a great value and location, especially for Disneyland. (Tip: They sell Disneyland tickets there.)
What a nice hotel with friendly staff! Originally booked at Red Lion across the street but quickly moved to this hotel after being disgusted by the hotels condition and snooty staff. The Springhill rooms were clean and quiet. The free breakfast was good, think boxed breakfast with fresh bagels and self made waffles (best part!). I would like to see different options like sausage biscuit gravy, bacon and pork sausage. They did have some vegan fair as well. I would also like to have a more comfortable bed and pillows. That would truly make this hotel stand out from the rest. The access to Disneyland is excellent and walkable. The convention center is walkable as well. I gave it 5 stars because there are few that are this nice in this area. Well done!
I stayed here a few years ago when they first opened. It was amazing! Super clean, great breakfast, friendly staff. Fast forward to now, picked it for a trip to Disneyland expecting the same experience and had no such luck. The cleanliness has gone down, the housekeepers don’t seem to care much. The breakfast is just blah now (oatmeal was drier than the Sahara desert!), slow to refill depleted items when they run out, juice is way too sugary. I would probably explore other hotels for the price when we return. I can say this, the location is great and I love that Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf is located in the same building. We also went to the CVS several times to pick things up. My advice is to start holding housekeeping accountable by doing audits of the rooms they clean and to take more pride in the breakfast that is served.
Stayed here W-F in February during a trip to Disneyland. It wasnt busy at all, check in was pleasant and quick. Staff I interacted with were very helpful. Room, halls, and lobby was amazingly clean and modern. Breakfast was simple and delicious. Parking was a breeze as well. Will be staying in the future.
This SpringHill is super close to the Disneyland resort. In fact we were able to walk there after breakfast and make it in when the park opened. We left our car at the hotel and the staff was fine with it while we were at the park. The hotel has a very modern theme and a great pool area, everyone enjoyed. They had Mickey pancakes at breakfast which made our stay feel like we were at a Disneyland hotel, but for only a fraction of the price. The rooms were amazing as well. They had this double bunk bed option which slept all the kiddos comfortably. We will definitely be staying here again!
Room was nice, clean, comfortable bed could use more pillows. We could hear the traffic. Elevator was a little confusing at first, We were not told we had to use our room key to ave go to our floor and have the doors open. Not enough coffee, cream and sugar in the room.
They did a few things right during a pandemic.Staff wore masks and enforced the mask rule. They had a modified hot breakfast of microwaved eggs, sausage, and potatoes. They also had cold cereal, yogurt, and breakfast bars. The best thing is that this hotel is a 15 minute walk to Disneyland and DCA. There is a CVS in the building which had everything. They did do a 2nd day cleaning upon request. Housekeeping did miss twice what looked to be hair dye on the cabinet below the sink.
This was a perfect place to stay for a family of four. The room was clean, comfortable and had plenary of space and storage for a family of four. The complimentary breakfast was quick and easy. The hotel is a close and convenient to walk to Disneyland including the restaurants at Downtown Disney. We’ll be back!
We really enjoyed our stay. The Kids Suite is perfect for families and the roof had a great view of the Disneyland fireworks. It was also well located, in easy walking distance to the parks, and conveniently attached to a large CVS. We appreciated the free breakfast, although food was just ok. One downside was their seemed to be limited soundproofing between floors. We were unlucky enough to be on the 4th floor directly below the gym, with loud noises at 9:30pm and 6am every day (woke me up in the morning, but Im a lighter sleeper). We would recommend to families going to Disneyland!
We loved skipping the crowd at Disneyland and going to the rooftop pool to watch them. It was very nice. Breakfast was very good and our kids loved the Mickey waffles. The walk to Disneyland was very convenient as well. We also liked the 24 hour CVS just down stairs if we needed anything. They have everything!
Room/hotel was super-clean and comfortable. As a lone traveler, I appreciated the added security of having the elevators require a room key scan. Breakfast was great, but pay attention to the staffs recommendations about busy times. They are spot-on; go before the Disney crowd gets there or youll wind up at the coffee shop down the block (which, actually, was good coffee). Theres a CVS conveniently located in the building and youre a very short walk from both the Convention Center and Disneyland. In all, a really great experience. Id stay there again.
Nice hotel close to Disney Resort. Just down street from resort. Walkable if you must but we have Annual Passes with free parking so we always park at Disney lot. After a long day who wants to walk? Parking lot is small so it fills up fast. Nice complimentary breakfast. Best orange I’ve had in forever. Nice kids suites as well. My kids loved bunk beds when got on other visit.
Our stay at the Springhill Suites Marriott Anaheim was riddled with issues and disappointments. The facilities, while stylish, were obviously a poor refurbishment attempt to squeeze as much money-making opportunity out of as small a space as possible. The facilities were is poor working order, were stained and dated. The Family suite, designed for 7 people, only had one vanity. Who designs that?! The bathroom was stained and in poor working order: the shower dripped, the sink did not drain well, and there was only one hook on which to hang a towel—designed for 7 people?! Really?! The requests we made for extra linens, towels, toiletries, and dental kits, though marked fulfilled, were not, in fact, fulfilled. It took me two attempts to talk to someone before the problem was resolved. The parking area is small and under the hotel. There aren’t any stairs to the parking area and all other stairs are for exiting the building only. So, you are required to use the elevator. The complimentary breakfast was poorly planned and executed. There was not enough food for the number of guests and not enough seating at breakfast time. The options were poor including eggs cooked in plastic bags, over cooked sausage patties, empty bread dispensers, and were there was a label for fresh spinach—there wasn’t any spinach. The fresh fruit options were minimal. And the water dispenser was OUTSIDE the food area—near the bathrooms! The pool area is a joke—small, dimly lit, and lacking any spa or jacuzzi. Overall, our stay was merely a place to rest our heads at night. We found ourselves avoiding spending any extra time in this hotel at all. I recommend taking your dollars elsewhere.
Over priced for what you get. Breakfast was terrible. Our sink was broken. We booked for a room with a view of the park but when we arrived they didn’t have one left so we were stuck in the end of the hallway facing another hotel. It is close to the parks which was nice.
The bathroom in the main lobby looked like a truck stop and there was not even any toilet paper. The staff who checked us in were friendly, but the room was horrible. It smelt moldy. Almost like wet carpet. Both the door to the bathroom and door to the bedroom could not be closed and were very clearly broken. I am not sure why the let someone check into a room in that poor condition.
Found this property to be very run down and needing desperate attention - many hotel are back open and filled to capacity and still trying to run under Covid excuses with no Maid service. We stayed three nights on our second night I asked for a trash bag to clear some of the trash in our room and the front desk could only offer ice bags - the tables on the dining area were extremely dirty I asked the front desk for some rags or paper towels they told me they did not have any
Part of this is my fault; I cancelled our reservation at the Residence Inn next door when I found out they were renovating their pool. I fully expected an actual kitchen like at the Residence Inn and instead was met with a microwave and mini fridge. This is mostly problematic because of severe food allergies. Not being able to prepare our own food meant a lot of extra expense for us.We booked a “family suite” for our family of 5 during our annual vacation to Disneyland. The room is spacious, and you can see the fireworks from the roof, and that’s about the only good thing about our stay here. One bathroom in a family with 3 women is a terrible idea. The bathroom is small and there’s no tub.Our bed was UNBEARABLY UNCOMFORTABLE. Our kids complained about the bunk beds and the pull out as well. We might as well have tried to sleep on the floors. It’s sad when the kids are thankful to leave Disneyland so they can actually get some sleep in their own beds.Literally the ONLY thing you REALLY need after an entire day at the Parks is a comfortable bed and we couldn’t even get that.I called the front desk our first night because it sounded like someone was pounding on the ceiling. I was assured that there wasn’t even a room above us (room 402). The young man said he would send security to see if there were any hooligans out and about. The pounding turned into scraping sounds. The noise stopped around 11pm. Turns out we were directly underneath the pool. All 5 nights we were there was the same thing. Bang bang, scrape scrape,Boom boom, and dragging noises. Speaking of the pool, the photos are deceptive. The capacity for the pool is 20 PEOPLE. It’s TINY.I’m not sure how often these rooms are ever cleaned. Splashes from beverages past litter the walls and weird smears from what looks like old food and god knows what else are everywhere. There’s mold along the shower and the ring around the sink. We recently stayed at the Springhill Suites on our vacation to Disneyland. The complimentary breakfast was a huge plus and had many great options. The staff was helpful and we really appreciated the water bottle filling station in the lobby and the free lollipops for the little ones.(Or big ones if so inclined). And it is within walking distance of the Disney parks. We would definitely stay here again.
The rooms were spacious and very clean, very accommodating for a family. The breakfast was superb, definitely got you ready for a busy day of activities - also had lots of options to choose from. The staff helpfulness went above and beyond all expectations. My daughter forgot her ipad, we called the hotel and they had already retrieved it. The following day they promptly mailed it out, free of charge. The honesty of the staff guarantees we will return to that hotel.
The front desk staff were welcome and nice; the bunk beds in the room make it perfect for 3-4 people or more - and its so nice getting up in the morning, getting breakfast and WALKING to Disneyland!!! Theres a ton a places right around the hotel 24/7 so easy to get in late and still eat, shop at CVS or whatever you need. We will be back!
The hotel is stylish, clean and trendy. Rooms were incredibly spacious. Loved the bathroom. We came with my daughters swim team, the rooms were perfect for this purpose. The kids loved the bunk beds. Rates were incredibly reasonable for the quality and the location of the hotel. Breakfast area and the food were great. Staff was incredibly courteous and helpful especially the woman that checked us in. Definitely would recommend over other hotels. Next time we go to Disneyland, we will stay there again!!!!!
Good enough room for myself and two kids. Nice size bathroom. Poorly cleaned shower (lots of mold) and spotted a leftover lollipop stick on the floor of the sitting area. Pool is small but enough to cool off. Lots of hair was floating in the pool that my kids called jellyfish. Nice rooftop deck to sit at. There is a small fitness gym next to the pool/deck area. Breakfast was decent and kept tidy by staff.
This SpringHill is super close to the Disneyland resort. In fact we were able to walk there after breakfast and make it in when the park opened. We left our car at the hotel and the staff was fine with it while we were at the park. They had Mickey pancakes at breakfast which made our stay feel like we were at a Disneyland hotel, but for only a fraction of the price. The rooms were amazing as well. They had this double bunk bed option which slept all the kiddos comfortably. We will definitely be staying here again!
We stayed in a kids Bunk bed suite. The room was a good size for our family of four although with a pull out sofa bed another kid or two could easily stay in this suite with mom and dad. The breakfast has a good selection and the staff worked fast to keep everything fresh and filled up. I think the hotel is the perfect walking distance to the Disneyland Resort, but it might be on the outer edge of what some would consider walking distance. We came back to our room everyday for a nap and it made our time in the parks much more enjoyable. We had no issues during our stay, parking was easy, the staff was very friendly, and I felt the hotel was a good value. If you are looking for a family friendly hotel to use as a base to visit disneyland and dont want to mess with Hotel shuttle to and from the resort this is a great hotel.
It was so close to Disneyland. And with it being a newer hotel, that was important to us. It seems like the closest hotels to the park are old, so this was a nice change of pace. Theres a bus stop right outside the hotel if you have littles that dont want to walk. That was helpful. And the CVS connected to the hotel was an awesome perk. We ran in there everyday for ponchos, cold medicine, or snacks. They had a great continental breakfast, and my picky kids were always able to find something they liked. Overall the hotel was clean, and after long days in the parks, it was great to come back to the comfortable beds. My kids absolutely loved the bunk beds and the Disney art in our room.
Clean hotel with spacious room very close proximity to cvs which happens to be right next door. It’s actually a very nice cvs to be honest. You can literally find anything you may need for your trip here. I was very impressed. The shower was nice and clean and the water gets to the perfect temperature. The hotel staff is very accommodating and will assist you with anything you may need. Due to covid breakfast is from 7-8:30 and was served in bags that included cereal, milk , orange juice, and yogurt. It’s also walking distance to Disneyland and lots of restaurants which is great. Be mindful that you have to wear a mask at all times in the hotel due to covid. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel and will continue to be a loyal Marriott customer.
The parking is very limited if you’re going during a popular vacation time. Don’t expect to fit a large vehicle in the spaces. The elevator and kitchen/ dining area is digustingly sticky all the time. We stayed 4 days and not once was the elevator not nasty and sticky on the floor. Otherwise they have an awesome breakfast and our kids suite was fantastic. It’s a bit of a long walk to Disneyland but you can always catch an Uber.
The rooms were nice and well kept. They had comfortable beds and all the things you could ask for in a hotel room to keep you feeling like youre at home. Breakfast was alright. Rooms were also roomy. Really quick walk from Disneyland and has a pharmacy in it and a Subway right near. Service was also efficient and good so overall somewhere Id go to again.
ZERO STARS my family stayed here lastnight late 7/21/21 the room was filthy it wasnt cleaned, dirt and trash on both sides of the bed who knows if the bedding was even changed. Photos will be posted on Google and Yelp. Photos and complaint will be filed with the Better Business, Marriott, the Orange County Health Dept. These conditions are unacceptable and especially in Covid 19 times
We loved the bunk bed suites at this hotel. The walk to Disney was a little less than 15 minutes and we would definitely choose this hotel over others based on the spacious rooms and great breakfast. Our party of 5 needed to spread out and relax in between park days and this was definitely a great place to do that.

2022-01-04This hotel was amazing. Proximity to Disneyland is perfect, they had gluten free options for breakfast including bagels on request. Kids loved the Mickey mouse waffle irons and bunk bed rooms. Parking that is cheaper than Disneyland and the staff was all just super helpful. 100 recommend for families coming to Disney needing a place to stay.

2022-05-08I have stayed here a few times. We love that they are pet friendly as we bring ours with us on vacation. The breakfast is free and actually one of the best hotel breakfasts ive had, there is many options for food.It is a pretty decent walk to Disneyland front gate, do not let the website fool you saying its close.Parking is $30 extra per day.

2022-05-19Nice and clean hotel. About 10-15 minutes walk to the entrance of the Disney Land. Rooms are pretty big and modern looking. Quick response for room service. There is a roof top pool. One downside is breakfast time, area gets super crowded and breakfast itself is not the best. They do not have a bar, but you can walk up to their sister hotel next door if you need to unwind after a long day :)

2022-05-17Perfect location for Disney. Small pool no hot tub. Cvs and coffee bean connected to building. Big rooms. Let us check in early around 2pm since our flight got changed so made the trip so convenient. Highly recommend.

2021-10-13We chose this property because wed enjoyed stays before at Springhill Suites. The rooms are good sized and we like having a living area to relax in separate from the bedroom. We were glad to have breakfast included which made getting ready to go to the park easy. The CVS downstairs is very convenient as well. The pool is warm and on a lovely outdoor deck but be aware its quite small. The walk to Disney entrance/downtown Disney is significant, I would estimate a mile -- its two long city blocks. Property is well kept, pretty clean, and with super friendly and helpful staff.

2022-06-16Fantastic location. Parking is not included but is Fair priced for the area. Our room was quite despite being located near elevators. The design of hotel has a buffer from 5he elevator lobbies and rooms. The breakfast area is large and they have a good selection of food.Theres a CVS and coffee shop on ground floor. One downside is no entrance on the main street.

2022-04-24Great room layout and location (Marriott website pics are very accurate). About a 15 minute walk to Disneyland/CA Adventure. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and the hot breakfast buffet was more than what we expected. As a bonus, there is a CVS and Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf on-site.

2022-06-30I absolutely loved their service, attention to guest experience and enjoyed their breakfast every morning..each and every staff member was courteous and willing to go beyond their call of duty to make sure you were taken care of. Proximity to Disney is a +++ ..you can even see the fireworks at night from the deck. This is ks my Disney vacation hotel and I am so glad they are part of the Marriott network for me to use points and earn points :)

2021-09-29Was very happy with our stay. Very clean, close to Disneyland so walking 10 min to get home mid day for a nap on park days was SO nice. I was so happy to see they had a normal continental breakfast. First hotel I’ve stayed at since covid that has offered a full breakfast which was so nice! We have stayed at many places around Disney and this has been our favorite. Having the CVS pharmacy right next to it was so convenient as well. Great staff, location and all around great experience at this property.

2021-10-11We had a great stay at the Springhill suites while in town to go to Disneyland. The Family bunk bed room was super spacious, clean and up to date! We enjoyed the free breakfast with Mickey waffles every morning. The hotel is just a 10 min walk to the gates. We will definitely be staying here again next year when we return to Disneyland. Thanks for a great stay!
