Recently I found myself in need of a tow truck when the fan clutch on my diesel pickup seized and in turn took out my radiator. I called South West Towing and spoke with David who took down some information and said he would get a truck headed my way as soon as possible. Well within the time frame I was given Chris arrived to tow my pickup. He was kind, professional, and had my truck loaded on his truck and us on the way to the destination in practically no time. Thank you to South West Towings David and Chris for taking great care of me when I needed it most.

A change in management has brought them down a notch. Professionalism and service could use a boost from old school values. A recent job quoted $300-500 by other tow companies was turned down by them because it was out of the way. With their equipment, they should be able to handle anything like they used to, plus they had advanced notice which was not handled properly either...it was disappointing only because weve had exceptional service in past decades. Notably, Mitch and Harry were great assets and are gone from the company now.
I have roadside service for the bikes through Geico and this evening Southwest responded to my flat tire sos. Even with the heavy traffic in Cat City this evening, they had a truck and a professional on site within the stated time frame and kept me kept me informed via text messages. Unfortunately I dont recall the name of driver.Thanks Southwest Towing!
Just had the uncomfortable position of following one of their trucks from Anza down the mountain to Palm Desert. A flatbed with a car on it at 30 mph , passing all turnouts, and had no courtesy for the row of cars behind him. Before every turnout there are signs “ slower traffic use turnout “ if this person hasn’t figured out he’s slower traffic maybe don’t drive the mountain or maybe not even a tow truck

Pablo saved are bacon when out Tesla wouldn’t power up due hotel bad charging station. He was able to jump start the car and get it to wake up saving us from having to be towed to the Tesla shop. Thank you!
Refused to provide service because we stay away from residential service. If you dont want to tow cars, dont open a business to tow cars. I wont hire you for residential nor commercial since you refused service. Moving on to a company who will provide towing services. Wasted my time to even call.
I will never use this company. Like the previous posts they continuously lie! They are diffidently horrible service to use! Not reliable, not truthful, and not helpful!
Great people! They came to my rescue, helped me, and then proceeded to show their compassion and business savvy by recognizing my efforts and generously billing me in a non greedy and generous way!!! I can not recommend them here Guly enough!!!

Dont use this service. There was two of us and the driver said he had a trainee and couldnt take both of us. Said to get a Lyft and hung up. We were stranded in the desert area. Not good

2022-05-12They picked up my sons 2019 Chevrolet Trax after he was broadsided. When I took my son to their yard, they were by the book (this is a good), and my son had no issues getting his personal belongings out of the car later. The staff were friendly and responsive. Id recommend them to friends moving forward.

2022-03-24The man who showed up to bring me gas did a really great job. The poor guy was from New York and not familiar with sand and the poor soul drove where I said not to but he was open to direction on how to quickly get unstuck and what could have been a horrible nightmare turned into a 10 minute fix. Not all men can accept a womans help when it comes to these tthings but he was super charming and a professional the entire time.. thank you South West Towing.

2022-05-10Everyone I dealt with and spoke to handle themselves in a very professional Manor. Perhaps my time there was a little lengthy compared to most perhaps thats why there was no chairs. PS perhaps youre already aware that the electrical receptacles or upside down as well as the swing gate hinges installed wrong. Other than that thanks again for all your help hope to not see you in the future lol Steve wray

2022-01-10We blew a tire on the I-10 in Desert Center on Saturday on our way to a funeral in Lake Forest. The driver had to find us as our insurance company did not give him clear direction where we were. He did not give up!!! After several phone calls between South West Towing and our insurance company and between us and the driver he was finally able to locate us, in the middle of nowhere, and tow us to Indio so we could get a new tire. This driver is our hero! He was kind, professional and quick to get us to the tire store so we could get a new tire and be on our way to the funeral. South West Towing did a good job coordinating with him and our insurance company and we are grateful we were connected with them for this service.

2021-02-26Used Southwest Tow as my vehicle was recalled, was way of having no contact with dealer during COVID-19. Had the most reasonable rates locally. Telephone service was great. On return they confirm with Service Rep vehicle was ready. Recommend.

2021-03-18Danny from South West Towing was excellent to work with. My Aston Martin had a blow out in a very remote area and he was able to quickly (relatively speaking) get to me and recover the car. Working with roadside assistance they even towed me more than 100 miles to our local dealer.As much of an inconvenience as the blow out was, Danny and South West Towing made getting the car and I home a painless experience.

2016-10-12My car stopped on the freeway. I had a 4 year old in the backseat and it was 90 degrees at 8:00 am (I live in the desert). I placed a call to my insurance and they sent Genaro from Southwest Towing. Originally, the operator told me it was going to take 45 minutes to an hour for someone to come. I told him that I had a child in the back seat and the temperature is rising as we speak. He communicated that to the towing company.Genaro made it in less than 30 minutes. By then my husband had come with his car, Genaro told my husband to go ahead and take us to the car shop as he gets the car onto the truck bed so we can get out of the heat.Once we got to the shop, he unloaded my car very carefully. Genaro was very professional and friendly. I especially appreciated that he had the sense of urgency to show up quickly and how quickly he took care of business.

2017-05-06So these guys are not good. They have a contract with the city to tow vehicles at owners expense and there is no regulation (apparently) on the rates they can charge for this service. My car was towed for having expired tags, from the street where I live. It was $430 to retrieve the car and thats after I asked them to take off a day of storage ($60) because it happened on a friday. They couldnt get to my car because it was so triple-parked or whatever within their storage lot that they needed to wait until a driver came back to tow away the cars they didnt have keys to in order to get to my vehicle. Two and a half hours later, I was able to drive.... oh no wait... the car wont start. It only starts in neutral now because they damaged it in tow. These are not stand up folks. Avoid them.
