Nice 👍 playground with a beautiful rose 🌹 garden 🪴. Gets pretty crowded so best to come during off peak times of the day when everything is blooming. Some vagrants in the area but that’s almost everywhere you go.

This review is specifically for the Fort Natomas playground area.... it has a great potential to be a five-star playground. But I rate it 2 Stars due to the smell of filth seeing as the city has allowed the homeless to roam free and do their business where our kids play...nice job...
The playground is bigger and cooler than the other parks in the area. Its always been pretty clean, and the ice cream man posts up in the parking lot right by the playground all day. Its very convenient. Just make sure to bring a little cash with you.
I love this Park. There is plenty of things to do here Walk Exercise Kids Playgrounds Baseball Basketball. Take your dog too. Public Restrooms BBQs Picnic Tables. Beautiful Rose Garden and A Library

Just rebuilt this park again and they still made it great. There are many play areas, different parks, so much grass area, their rose garden is beautiful. This park even has a library next to it. Great place for family, parties, get togethers, and even to take pictures!
The area was beautiful! I essentially had the whole garden to myself on a Saturday afternoon. Would be a gorgeous venue for a wedding.
Its a good place to go park under the trees for shade and eat 😋 and read a book, and visit. Its kid friendly with play area to.
The park thats located to the side of the library is my first choice when I want to let the kids run around. Theres no bark or sand which is great for little ones. The entire play area is enclosed by a short fence which prevents the kids from running off. Theres a section for kids under 5 so they arent run over by bigger kids and the whole area is pretty clean for a park.

Lovely park, nice and clean. Main park next to Rose garden. Another park short walk down paved walking path further away from traffic and parking lot with bbq pit first come first served. Good time to enjoy a great sunny or overcast day. Large field also to throw frisbee or football. Cant wait until the next visit!!!
Even though the homeless tear up the bathrooms at night and sleep in the playground early in the morning its a great place. The park staff there are very good about taking care of the whole site and making sure the homeless are gone before people start coming to the park.
I got 8 kids all approved floor is bouncy cushioned type I almost crawled around myself just to see what was up.
Beautiful gardens! Awesome play area and HUGE grass area! I can LET my 4yr old grandson RUN. No cars! No dogs that I saw. Planning on taking them there tomorrow!!
Great dog park. I love taking my sisters dog and letting her off her leash and let her run. Lots of grass and area to run. The park is taken care of very well. Its really good when the dogs owners pick up after their dogs. The signs are everywhere regarding this. Most people do.
Very awesome place for kids! My mind is still blown by the Kids Kamp in the summer sponsored by Measure U. I would have never been able to afford the trips and activities provided to my children. Im so grateful for the opportunity and my kids were super excited. They never missed a day. The camp counselors were always friendly and happy to be there. Two of my kids learned how to swim. I love this place!! 2 thumbs up! 10/10!! 5 stars!!!
Great facility with Tai-Chi classes pre-pandemic, the park next to the library is open with social distancing guidelines in place, we really enjoyed taking our son over there and teaching him how to throw a boomerang.

Recently remodeledThay have a toddler areaAdults must keep an eye on there kids at all timesonly complaint is that there were two vehicles with adults & kids living out of there cars in parking lot. (300-500 feet from the playground)
I went to the community center to attend a board meeting. The receptionist was incredibly polite and helpful. My rating is based on the lack of ability to inform the community of special events. Its a nice facility, conducive to meetings and gatherings, but people could easily pass this facility by because it doesnt welcomingly advertise as a place for the community.
Great place to enroll your children into activities.The staff members are always super friendly and outgoing. They offer Summer Camps, Winter Camps, karate classes, dance classes, and more. While the kidos are in class you can register for the small gym they have also for only $10 a Month!
This place offers a community center, library, a baseball diamond and two separate playground areas. There are also grills out for BBQs. Nice clean place to hang out with the family, or for walking. They just recently completed an outdoor bathroom facility. Which I personally think, would have been better to place at the park on pebblwood. Considering there is a bathroom located inside of the library.
I grew up in this neighborhood as a kid when this area was just a field. Its nice to see that they gave the kids something safe, fun and educational to do.
Makes no sense whatsoever how they are still closed. It’s been almost 2 years and they still have no plans of reopening. Even with the entire state open now. There’s no excuse for that.
Its got a nice big park, a garden, huge grass area, walking trail, library. All you could want in a community center. My kid is always tired after spending time here because of all the things to do.
The Community Center is great there but I must say the whole area seems on the decline...I may be wrong as I just did the drive from RC to the Community Center and that drive is a bit depressing. But the amazing people at the wonderful center is inspirational..Retired professionals through United Way helping all of us complete our taxes...without cost....an area and group who cares about people is alive and well in South Natomas
This is a nice place to read a book. The stuff that they have for little kids here is nice. I wish they had more of a selection but the people behind the desk are very happy to help you find any book you need.
Fantastic. I am a 39 yr local and this place took my breathe away. Gorgeous, free, romantic, fun, and even a place for you and a buddy to go burn one. Love my state. A+++++
The park is wonderful to bring my dog and bunnies to enjoy. Not crowded and I feel safe there.
Our favorite playgrounds in town. In the spring all the roses from the rose garden create a zen garden/ labyrinth area right beside the library. All in the same parking lot. On the weekends you will see all of the Dads standing around playing pokemon go with eachother.
Great park for the children. Has a regular park with extra climbing and hanging activities as well as a huge play fort. Beautiful roses as well as a library.
Watch your strollers when going to this park my sons thermos sippy cup was stolen right outta his wagon. 😑 other then tht the park was fine and is age appropriate for toddlers and grown kids.
Went to the rose garden for photos and has a nice playground. We had fun here and will return again.
Took my nephew and my dog here pretty cool little place. My nephew really enjoyed his self playing with the other kids. Its close to the house and we shall be going back.
This community center is the perfect location for group events like birthday parties, baby showers and meetings. My daughter and I have joined many of the activities from gymnastics, ballet, sewing, and reading. My daughter looks forward to our Fridays and Saturdays at the community center

This Community Center has a Library, a Park, a Flower Garden and one of the best and largest Kids Playground, that I have ever seen. The place is clean and friendly.

Super chill place for the community. Has a nice coffee and food cafe and a clean park attached to the Community Venter. There is also a beautiful rose garden.
Parking is limited, but the community center is a great place to study, participate in activities and there is a great place to grab lunch there as well
B4 Easter we came to this park 3 times for a BBQ and the 2 other times to chill...Video is the BBQ...😳🤣🤣🤣😁Never mind cant find video🤷
Chill park our event turned out great and the gazebo is next to the park so you can see your kids from there and the parking is close by.

Nice facility in the South Natomas section of Sacramento that is right next to the South Natomas Library which in combination with that includes a park with a unique kids playground area. Two Pokemon gyms are also located here for those that play the game.
Clean all the equipment is up-to-date loads of activities you get bored quickly there is something else to do it is a great Community Park something to do from everybody from toddlers to 96
My family went to the park. It was clean and my kids had alot of fun. There was alot of stuff to play on. Will go back when we are in the area again.

2022-06-04My boys love this park, bathroom near by, second park with a zip line right across the grass. The main park has a smaller kid area and a bigger area for older kids.

2022-06-04The basketball court is fenced in. No running after the ball! Probably because its right next to the parking lot.The community center is a good place to have a big birthday party or even a wedding reception. There is plenty of parking and there is parking on the library side. Yes there is a library too!

2019-05-04The roses are in full bloom right now. This is a lovely place to visit. After all, dont we need to stop and smell the roses more often?!
