We hired Chris Berry to DJ our wedding and he did not disappoint. He was everything I wanted in a DJ and made sure to share a special meaning behind our first dance. Chris made the process go smoothly and did a great job entertaining the crowd. We were so pleased with SoundWave Productions. If you are looking for a DJ, I highly recommend Chris Berry. He is the BEST!!
Accommodating. Respectful. Professional.Three words I would describe Chris Berry.I can confidently say that Chris was the glue that held our reception together. I didn’t have a coordinator and it was Chris who made sure the flow of everything went smoothly. We especially loved how great of a job he did with our bridal party introduction and his funny sound effects during our dinner game entertainment.We would recommend him to all of our friends and family. Also, a bunch of our guests already reached out to us for his name! We have been to our share of weddings and there are always those DJs that don’t know how to work the crowd as well as have the evening flow. But Chris, I would highly recommend!!
Soundwave Productions was on a preferred vendor list for our venue in San Clemente and thank goodness they were. We were SO pleased with their services from the get-go. Chris was extremely communicative over e-mail while answering our preliminary questions. He put us in touch with DJ Mark who immediately put us at ease. Mark worked with us to create our playlist of special songs and also took the time to get a feel for what our guests would (and wouldnt) want to hear. He also hopped on the phone with us a week prior to our event to hammer out all of the MC details and remaining questions we had. Before, during, and after our event DJ Mark continuously checked in with us to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and were happy with the way things were running. We felt incredibly well taken care of. The entire day was wonderfully executed, and I cant keep track of how many compliments we got on our music. Our dance floor was PACKED from start to finish. DJ Mark did a masterful job with transitioning from oldies to top 40 and everything in between, reading the room to ensure that the guests were into each song choice. Highly recommend their services and wish we could hire them and party all over again!P.S. Their lighting options added such great ambiance to our event! Its something we hadnt considered initially but we are so grateful that we did.
We met one of the DJ’s of SoundWave Pros during a bridal show at the Crowne Royal Plaza Hotel in Redondo Beach. Not going with the idea that we would find someone, we were more delighted to happen upon their booth and fall in love with the variety of packages that they offered. From our first encounter, to the last song of the night, we couldn’t have chosen a better DJ company. The DJ that we had during our actual wedding was Chris Williams. Chris was such a funny and professional guy. He went above and beyond to make our night the best that it could be. He came more that prepared and ensured that the entire night went off without a hitch. All of our guests, even those who loath dancing, were out of their seats having a blast. We dance until the very end of our allotted time with the venue, and during that entire span we had the best time because of Chris. Even during dinner he went around and sat next to guests and entertained them with friendly conversation and laughter. Truly, he was amazing and we couldn’t have picked a better DJ company to help make our BIG day the best it could be.
We found Soundwave Productions through the Pasadena Bride World Expo in 2019. There, we met Michael Sprague, an MC and event host for the company. We really liked Michael’s confidence, charm, and composure. We would describe his style as clear and direct. He isn’t the kind of MC who tries to steal the spotlight from the bride and groom by trying to be too funny or over-the-top. He is well-spoken, clean, and professional.Later, at an in-person meeting at their Anaheim studio, we met Jake Magness, the DJ who works with Michael. Jake is a talented artist who has a background in the EDM and club scene. This was perfect for us because we wanted our reception to be lit! After meeting the duo, we felt so sure about them that we signed the paperwork as soon as we got home. Soundwave was one of the first vendors we actually booked!Unfortunately, like many couples, we decided to postpone our November 2020 wedding to September 2021 due to the pandemic. Soundwave was very understanding during this time. Chris Berry, the owner, didn’t hesitate to reschedule us without any penalty or fee. We made a few compromises due to the fact that we changed from a Saturday to Sunday, but after some emails, we came to a conclusion and both parties were happy.Overall, we had a great wedding night. Michael did an amazing job at setting up the lighting, and Jake was phenomenal at keeping everybody on the dance floor. They didn’t follow every detail or required element that we asked for, but their creative decisions made things better, in our opinion. Jake, in particular, was cool enough to let my fiancée stand behind the DJ booth and play a set! How many brides can say they’ve done that??
This company is amazing and theyre must! They made my daughter wedding Awesome from the music to the Photo Booth and lets not forget the fog machine all must have at your event. Chris was Awesome!!!! Thank you for making their day so special!!!
DJ Jake and MC Michael was AMAZING! We met them at a Bridal Expo at the Pasadena Convention Center. What caught our attention was their energy and vibe. We wanted a DJ and MC who will entertain the crowd and they sure did. Everyone at the wedding enjoyed their company. Michael did an awesome job pronouncing Asian names. Jake was dancing all night while DJing which all my guest loved. On top of that, Mike’s awesome energy on the mic got all the young crowd on the dance floor. The best part was the CO2 guns !!! The process from the time we booked till the wedding day was an easy process for us. Communication was excellent. We love how much energy and effort they put into making our special day as magical as possible. Thank you, Jake and Michael. Highly recommended and 5 stars no doubt!
My venue gave me a list of preferred vendors. Soundwave responded super quickly, very professional (and not too pushy), and very reasonably priced.When we had to postpone the wedding due to COVID, there was no penalty and they were very understanding about the situation.About a month before the wedding, we met with Wil (our DJ), he was super understanding and he understood our concept, which was 90s/00s music, modern/classic lighting, and bride/groom didnt want too much talking and didnt want to be constantly in the spotlight. After talking to him, we found him to very flexible and chill. He gave us comfort that he will adjust accordingly on the day of, if for example, if there werent as many people on the dance floor, he would play some music to bring the crowd in, etc.Highly recommend them!
It was a great, positive experience working with Soundwave Productions! Chris was quick to respond to my emails and answered any questions that I had. The online portal system we used to request our music was very user friendly and made it easy to organize our music playlist based on cocktail house, dinner, and dancing music. There’s a wide range of music selection and if you can’t find a particular song, you can add your own. You’re also able to easily select songs to be used for the processional, recessional, first dance, etc. The DJ booth had our name on it with a design that matched our wedding theme. It was an unexpecting and nice touch! Drew was our DJ for the event and was easy to work with. We had an in-person meeting within 30 days of the wedding to go over the timeline to ensure everyone was on the same page and also to get a sense of our music taste/style. My only complaint was not playing all our requested dancing music. I believe I had maybe 10 songs requested that I particularly wanted to be played on the dance floor and I can’t recall 2 songs that were played. Granted the night ended early and I could’ve requested those songs be played before we called an end to the night, but there was too much happening all at once and the next thing you know, the night has ended. I suppose I was just hoping those particular dance music requests would be played earlier when the dance floor opened up to everyone. We also utilized the social photobooth, which is very user friendly. You can take photos, videos, gifs, and boomerangs and you receive it instantly upon email/text! Everyone has access to all photos taken. Overall, I’m happily satisfied with DJ Drew and Soundwave Productions and would definitely recommend them for future events!
Our DJ, Chris Berry did an awesome job as our DJ for our wedding night. He was prepared, organized and fun to work with! We definitely would love to work with him again in the future. We also strongly recommend him for future events if anyone is looking to hire a solid DJ host. Look no further! :)
DJ CHRIS BERRY IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST. We found Soundwave Productions through IG when we saw a video of the Co2 guns at a wedding and we knew we had to book them. Through multiple postponements, he was very understanding, accommodating and supportive and always fast to respond to emails. They also have a great online portal system that helps you select songs, artists, genres for every part of your wedding. They also have of lists of top songs available in case you song ideas for your grand entrance, procession, etc. With that said, we only filled out a few parts of it to give Chris an idea of what we liked and we trusted him to take it from there and he of course did an amazing job.We told Chris we wanted to have a dance party and that’s exactly what he gave us. With COVID, it’s understandable that we wouldn’t have a packed dance floor, but Chris kept the energy up the entire evening. In addition to his DJ skills, he was also great on the mic. My friends love requesting songs (even if they’ve already been played) and Chris was always very accommodating. Fast forward to the after party, Chris set up the uplighting, the Co2 cannons and it was everything we could have asked for and more. We had so much fun and danced the night away. He truly exceeded our expectations and made our wedding a day to remember and we are so very grateful!

Chris and Diego were absolutely incredible!! I had never heard of a dj/drummer duo before, and am so thankful our wedding planner pointed us in their direction. Because we had a small wedding due to covid, I was nervous the small size would impact the energy. I couldn’t have been more wrong! Everyone was on the dance floor almost the whole time- we even ended up asking them to stay additional time everyone was having so much fun. On top of that, some guests even asks for their business cards at the wedding!Not only were they an amazing time, but they were both also so kind and professional. We will definitely use them again! DJ Chris Berry and Soundwave Productions are the BEST!!! Music was very important to my husband and I. Finding the right DJ was very important to us and was I was nervous we wouldnt find one that would meet our expectations. Well, Chris EXCEEDED our expectations and we had the party of a lifetime! From the first phone conversation to the last song, Chris was extremely professional and so fun to work with. He knew exactly what songs to play to keep our dance floor full the entire night. He got an idea of the type of music we liked and from there he just did his thing! I still have so many guests who have come up to me saying the DJ was the best DJ they have experienced at a wedding and the music was so good, and the dancing was so fun! We got the C02 cannons, which I HIGHLY recommend. They are so fun for the bride and groom and the guests loved them! The uplighting was perfect and created the best vibe throughout our entire day/night. I want to have another party just so Chris can come be our DJ! Jake was awesome! He kept people on the dance floor all night and played exactly what we wanted to fit our crowd. He was great to talk to and has that total DJ vibe about him. He was fun and had a great attitude with the requests from my bridal party and guests. He made sure the night stayed upbeat and he interacted with our crowd perfectly. We hired DJ Michael as our MC/DJ and everyone at our wedding loved him! From start to finish, everything with SoundWave was awesome and they made the planning process so easy! Michael was friendly and was easy to talk to. Best of all, he knew what vibe we wanted for our wedding and played music that kept our guests dancing all night! Chris was extremely professional and knew exactly what he was doing. He was extremely reasonably priced compared to other DJs we looked at and was willing to work with us on prices and make sure we got everything we wanted. We had so many compliments on how good the music was at our wedding and specifically how good our DJ was. He brought CO2 guns at no additional cost that we broke out toward the end of our reception that people still talk about. He really went above and beyond to make our wedding experience as good as possible. It was an absolute blast and I would 100% book Chris again.

Chris was the DJ at my wedding a month ago and he was absolutely awesome! Chris knows how to read the room and he always seemed to play exactly the right song at the right time! He was the best DJ I have ever seen at a wedding- never cheesy or annoying- just professional and personable. Chris also did the lighting for our event and several of our guests commented to us about how beautiful it was. Chris is very responsive and was an absolute pleasure to work with. We had a great experience with DJ Drew and the SoundWave team. The process was easy from start to finish. Initially I was in contact with the manager, Chris, who was very responsive and great at matching us with a good DJ, on shorter notice! We were paired up with DJ Mark for our wedding. He was very professional and laid back. It was important to us to have a formal MC, which he delivered. We had a lot of specific songs we wanted, and we heard all of them! He was prompt with requests, great at reading the room and perfectly transitioned into songs that got everyone on the dance floor! Highly recommended!!

We had the opportunity to work with DJ Keith and he definitely delivered! From the start, Keith was well likable and shared his knowledge and suggestions. This is the best DJ and Lighting company out there! SoundWaves Pros offers great services from music, lighting, chandelier rentals, and even co2 cannons! My husband and I hired DJ Chris Berry as our DJ and he did a phenomenal job making our vision come true with the lighting and music! Our guests at our wedding were constantly on the dance floor! My husband and I were debating whether we needed an DJ/MC for our mini wedding (42 guests). We were leaning towards no but our planner convinced us that itll be helpful to at least have someone to make the announcements. We decided to book Soundwave and were happy that we ended up doing it. DJ Wil helped manage the flow of the event, made sure we stayed on schedule, made announcements, provided extra lighting and the sound system. His playlist was great and fit the vibe. Overall, he was really cool and did a wonderful job.
We met DJ Michael at their Anaheim office and he showed us around (equipment they typically use, etc...). They even had a demo mixer station set up just in case any of the clients wanted to hear a mix on the spot. Just the amount of professional equipment (garage full) and attitude put us at ease.A few weeks before the wedding, we came back to finalize all payments and to agree on a timeline. We were once again amazed as to how well they had set up their timeline information for clients. The timeline system is online/web-browser where it was very easy to input songs and events through a simple questionaire and time-slot configuration. My wifes family wanted to request Thai songs so it was easy to upload Thai MP3 to the website.If there was any questions/concerns that we had, DJ Michael would reply to our email very quickly.During the reception, DJ Michael was extremely attentive and worked with our schedule. He coordinated our wedding based on the schedule we had provided, but also kept an eye out on what we were doing (taking pictures with guests, etc...) so that he can make adjustments to the schedule/announcements as needed.As for his skills as a DJ, he knew how to transition and control the lighting the the venue had already installed. See the attached picture and you will see that he was able to coordinate song, lighting, smoke machine, and announcement to make our night a dream come true.I would gladly recommend DJ Michael or any member of his team to any of my friends or familys future events.
DJ Drew Pierce was so freakin awesome. He was our DJ for our wedding in San Clemente in September. First, Soundwave Productions is super organized, so they send a comprehensive online set of forms to fill out a month prior to your wedding date to make sure they have all the correct information about the timeline/event, as well as everything they need to know about your music tastes and dislikes. DJ Drew 100% understood exactly what we liked. For the ceremony, cocktail hour, transitions, speeches and crazy dance party, we could not have been happier with DJ Drew. He kept everything flowing, kept a low profile, and seriously created the best dance party we have ever experienced. We got so many compliments after, from hoarse voices of guests after dancing and screaming so much. He was awesome, and I am not exaggerating: we could not recommend him more.

I say this because DJ Wil was not only the Dopest DJ/MC the night of our wedding but, leading up to the big day, he was able to help us put together the perfect timeline and made sure that everything went according to plan. He worked closely with our wedding planner and was always willing to go the extra mile to make sure that the entertainment was perfect for our event. He smoothly transitioned from ceremony to cocktail hour; cocktail hour to reception, never missing a beat and always playing tunes that our diverse crowd loved. We chose Sound Wave Productions after reading some stellar reviews online. Chris Berry was the coordinator who got in touch with us and then set up a meeting for us to meet our DJ, DJ Wil. DJ Wil is obviously very knowledgeable about music as my husband and I have very different tastes in music, and he came up with good selections across a variety of genres for the wedding. There is a website for us to input music for different parts of the ceremony and reception, it’s easy to use. Most of our guests are not the dancing kind but he managed to get our guests on the dance floor too. Overall, we’re satisfied with his service, will definitely recommend Sound Wave Productions and DJ Wil.
BEST DJ we could have ever asked for! I was recommended to Chris by my cousin who had nothing but great things to say about him after her wedding a few years ago. Since I first contacted him back in 2015, he was always quick to respond and so friendly! Everything leading up to the wedding was great - love the online platform, super easy to use. The day of the wedding Chris was a brides dream vendor. He followed the timeline I made to a T, honored all of our song requests, and was such a great host for the evening! So many of my guests complimented that he was the best DJ ever and had so much fun dancing all night!!!! We hadFULL dancefloor at the end of the night which you dont always see, so you know the music was amazing :) Cant wait to hire Chris for another event when I have the chance. Thank you!!!!!
The DJ can really make or break the party and we cannot have gone with a better person to help MC and navigate our wedding. We had will as our DJ and he was amazing. Fantastic communication from the beginning. He had forms to help us with our timeline and to give detailed notes on what we wanted and did not want. Their website was so easy to use they had suggestions of top 100-200 of songs for each section of the wedding which was very helpful if you dont quite know which songs would be good to use.We had an initial introductory meeting and also a final detail meeting. Will was very easy to reach via phone or email and when we wanted to add in a last minute slideshow the week of he was able to help us with it to work in our budget and make sure that it worked properly when we sent over the file. I had multiple family and friends compliment that the party was always hopping! We all had a fantastic time and cant thank Will enough for doing a awesome job!
DJ Michael was so awesome to work with for our wedding. He listened to what we liked and what we didnt and executed perfectly at our wedding! He played exactly the right music and got everyone on the dance floor. We all had a great time and he definitely helped to make the wedding memorable for everyone! This pricing was also right on budget compared to other DJs in the area.

I attended a NYE party these guys were the DJs for last year and it was awesome! They had some cool lighting things along with some confetti at midnight and everything was super fun. l got their card at the end of the night and look forward to using them in the future.
Chris is the absolute best. I interface with a large number of vendors in my professional line of work and I have never come across someone who genuinely loves what he does and is exceptionally great at it.From the moment we initially connected with him, there was a sense of enthusiasm, and energy that resonated with us and we knew that Chris had to be our DJ and no one else. Chris was able to incorporate a live drummer, beautiful combination of dancing lights, a fog machine and ... CO2 cannons! I used Soundwave for my wedding in October 2018 and it was the perfect choice! We told Michael that dancing was a priority for the night and he kept the energy high and the music good! It was a fabulous mix of newer music, classic hits, and surprises. He was attentive during the planning process, asking all the right questions to gauge exactly what sort of event we were looking for and the mood we wanted. He took our suggestions and had some of his own. Michael was very open to our thoughts, and he even helped us plan a special shout out and song for a guest whose birthday was on the same night as a surprise for him. Michael really did everything right - we told him we wanted to dance all night and thats exactly what we did!

I had the pleasure of booking Soundwave and having Michael as my DJ. I do not regret it one bit!! I met Michael and Chris at a bridal show and I knew I wanted to book with them from the beginning. Michael was so easy to work with and accommodated all our requests. Their website where you can request songs, make payments, and even hear some sample clips from their library was self explanatory and easy to navigate.Michael took the time to get to know my fiancé and I by our taste in music during our meetings. Hiring SoundWave to DJ and MC our wedding was by far one of the best choices we made for our big day!!DJ Wil did an INCREDIBLE job.From beginning to end, Wil helped us plan our wedding program and made a conscious effort to make sure everything was how we wanted. What I was afraid of was that my guests would be bored waiting for the program to move along, but on the day of our wedding, Wil worked with our coordinator to ensure that the reception flowed smoothly and that we followed the timeline we came up with as closely as possible. Even when we got side-tracked a bit because of the little surprises planned by our families and friends, Wil always got things moving along and often checked on us to make sure that we were OK.Timing in particular was very important to my husband and I because our photographers and videographers were hired until 9 PM and needed to capture specific things on video/camera, so Wil worked closely with them to make sure they were able to capture all of the key moments. When youre paying people by the hour, timing is EXTREMELY important. Plus, we didnt want our guests to have to be in their seats for a majority of the night - we wanted to make sure we had more than enough time for dancing!In addition to being an awesome MC, Wil was an even better DJ. Once the dancing started, I dont think there was any instance during the night that our dance floor was empty! The couple of hours we spent with Wil where we planned our timeline and had some discussion of what type of music we wanted at our wedding really paid off. Wil really took the time to listen to us, and on the day of our wedding, he seemed to instinctively know what to play next so that he could get everyone on the dance floor. Me and my husband had such a wonderful time and we got so many compliments about our DJ. One of my aunts in particular told me that she liked Wil a lot because there was never a time where guests felt like they were waiting around waiting for the next thing to happen and Wil knew how to keep the crowd engaged.Besides the MC/DJ services, we also hired SoundWave to create a custom monogram that they projected on to the wall as well as yellow-colored uplighting at the reception. I almost cried during our first dance because I was so overwhelmed with how beautiful the ballroom looked, and the GOBO monogram and yellow lighting really played a huge part in tying all of our wedding decor together.When you hire SoundWave, you pay for more than just the DJ services - you get a professional whos worked at countless events and knows how to manage a crowd. I particularly appreciated Wils professionalism and the fact that he really catered to our needs throughout the night.Our friends and family wont stop raving about how fun our wedding was, and honestly, we owe it in large part to SoundWave and DJ Wil!!
Chris and Drew were the DJs at our wedding and they were AWESOME! Because of restrictions due to COVID-19, our venue did not permit us to have a formal reception, but we still needed a DJ for our small ceremony. These guys were incredibly adaptable to whatever the situation called for, and they were able to anticipate exactly what we needed. For example, right after our first dance, my dad came up to me and said we should do a father-daughter dance that we did not plan for, but I was into it! We asked to DJs to play a song for us. We had no idea what we wanted, so they chose and played What a Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong, and it was absolutely perfect for our father-daughter wedding dance. From now on, that song will always remind me of that perfect moment dancing with dad at my wedding and how wonderful the world truly is. Another example of these DJs ability to read the situation and adapt is when they started playing fun 70s dance music after our ceremony, despite my crazy plan for whimsical celtic music. I am so glad these professional situation-readers played fun dance music so that I and the guests could dance a little bit (socially-distanced of course) after the ceremony! After many DJ’s my wife and I saw, we decided to go with Keith from SoundWave Productions. He was the best! He’s passionate about his job so he puts his all into it and does a wonderful job. We may have chosen the music but he pieced it together beautifully and transitioned to the next song masterfully. There was never a dull moment. He kept everyone on the dance floor. Even the old folks! ;) If/when any if my friends get married, I won’t let them hire anyone else but one if the many fine DJ’s at SoundWave Productions.
What can I say? Soundwave did a phenomenal job for DJing my wedding. Scratch that, DJ Drew did a phenomenal job. From our initial meeting to the days before the big day, Drew was nothing but accommodating. We met off-site to cut down the driving costs and save some gas (who likes LA traffic, because it seems to be a 24/7 phenomenon no matter where you are). Drew showed up professional to the venue, set up promptly, and I did not hear from him until mid-way through when he asked if I was ready to do the garter and bouquet toss. I could have talked to him throughout, but there simply was not a need. Drew kept the flow and night moving, was not obnoxious or loud, and the time flied. Oh, and did I mention, he took requests from guests too? My husband wanted a specific country line dancing song played, one that Drew did not have downloaded, but that did not stop him from appeasing the grooms request. By the next song, everyone was fully immersed in line dancing. My guests were beyond impressed with Drew, and many of them took his business card to have on hand. If I did not relocate out of state, I would be using Drew for all my DJ/MC needs!
From start to finish, the overall experience with Soundwave Productions was a fantastic one! My wife and I planned our wedding with Keith and he was very helpful and responsive in organizing the layout of the grand entrance, cocktail hour music, ceremony music, etc during the planning stages. During the wedding day, Keith was very tenacious in making sure the crowd was excited, moving and consistently in a great mood.If my wife and I were to do the planning again, we would still choose Soundwave Productions. Soundwave Productions was a pleasure to work with since day 1! We met them at a bridal show our Venue held (Soundwaves was one of the preferred vendors), and we were impressed with them and chose to work with them. Everyone weve met have been nothing but professional, but also able to maintain a comfortable/fun atmosphere. Soundwaves Productions creates a client profile on their website where they will do all future communication with you (you get e-mail notifications as well), where you can fill out detailed forms for reception + ceremony timelines, song selections, and any miscellaneous details. After thats all said and done, your MC/DJ will meet with you to go over every single little thing so that you are on the same page. Their level of communication, and commitment to their clients is among the highest Ive seen from any company/group.With that said, DJ Wil is AMAZING!We were planning an out of state wedding (currently in Arizona, but we planned a wedding in Fullerton, CA), and DJ Wil and Soundwaves have been so accommodating as far as meetings and communication. From day one with meeting with Wil we expressed our concerns about being out of state (and not having a day of coordinator!) but he was nothing but supportive and encouraging with our plans. I remember he told us that some DJ/MCs focus on one or the other, but that he takes pride in his roll as both, and he went above and beyond in delivering. We couldnt meet in person for our final meeting, so we met over Google Hangouts and he was more than accomodating with finding a time that worked with my now wife (yay!) and my work schedule.Day of was nothing but amazing. His communication was on point with us, and professional every step of the way. He set everything up on time and constantly reassured us throughout the day not to worry and to relax. The ceremony was flawless with the music selections and sound system, as far as our reception. He kept everything on track while keeping things lively, and numerous guests commented on how they loved the song selections throughout the evening. All we had to do was tell DJ Wil what type of artists we liked and wanted for different segments of the night, and he did everything on his own. The song selections and transitions was amazing. So often you hear what sounds like a playlist being played over speakers, but DJ Wil would transition into each and every song. One of my groomsman, who is NOT a dancer, and has never really danced very much in his life (even on his own wedding), danced the night away because he was having such a great time.The uplighting was also beautiful and HIGHLY recommended. It added so much to our already beautiful venue, and we cant imagine not having it (Im sure its venue dependent, but it was AMAZING)I HIGHLY recommend DJ Wil for your MC/DJ needs, as well as Soundwaves Productions as a company. Wedding planning (among other events) can be extremely stressful, and if you want to work with someone who not only doesnt add stress, but helps to REDUCE it, DJ Wil is your man.
Soundwave Productions has been the best choice for our wedding from the beginning. We had the pleasure of meeting Michael at a wedding convention, and instantly knew he was perfect for our celebration. We were planning ridiculously early for our event (lead time of 15 months) and Soundwave was able to adapt to our needs at that time to set a planning discussion so we went down the right path.Planning our event was effortless with Michaels help. Every time we met, it was much later in the day due to our work schedules and Michael always had a smile when he saw us. He was able to take our music interests and guide us to selections that would tie to our story for the day. Soundwave had a library of suggestions for each event on our timeline, so we were never stuck without inspiration.On the big day, we never had to worry about things being ready or sticking to our schedule. Our guests were treated to some cocktail hour music that was built from some of recommendations. Quite a few guests commented on the play list and even asked for a copy... all Michael. He made sure to greet us when we arrived and gave us a chance to catch our breath before entering, and even touched based when he noticed the schedule needed adjustment and we could call an audible.We knew Michael would be best partner for our day, we even included him in our wedding programs (everyone say hi Michael!). All of our guests stayed on the dance floor to a variety of music and were able to get their requests in. Nothing but high regards from all our guests for the evening and from us for the whole experience.
We had DJ Wil and he was absolutely amazing. He met with us before our wedding to go over the fine details and make sure everything was the way we wanted it. On the day of the wedding he did a fantastic job with keeping the energy up and making sure people were always having a great time. The thing I liked most about DJ Wil was that he always made sure to have our guests’ full attention when he had to direct their attention to something going on with the wedding. We found Soundwave Pro at one of the Bridal Expos we attended in Orange County. We ended up meeting with and booking DJ Jake and Emcee Michael and they were so great for our wedding.They worked with us on every aspect of the wedding from how much Emcee participation we wanted to how we wanted to transition the events throughout the evening. They both did a great job and we appreciate how much energy they put into making our night perfect.Dont forget to ask for Jake and Michael!

Where do I begin when listing all the great things about Soundwave?First of all, DJ Will, did such an amazing job. He made the entire music and lighting process as simple as it could be. He was really friendly and easy to talk to. When it came to choosing our music for the wedding, he simply asked us a few questions and right away was able to get a good feel on our style and idea of music for the event. When it came to lighting, we gave him full control and he did an AMAZING job with the lighting.In terms of his emcee skills, I cannot compliment him enough! He was a natural talking to the guests and had a real sense for how the crowd was feeling. He really helped keep everything on time/schedule and he always had us in mind first. Many of our guests complimented DJ Will as an amazing emcee.As someone who has now experienced planning a wedding and being a guest at numerous weddings, I can honestly say the DJ/emcee is a vital factor to making your wedding flow nicely and seem personable and I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND Soundwave Productions and DJ WIll.
DJ Wil was such a breeze to work with! We hired Wil for our wedding on April 23, 2016. The first meeting with him made me so comfortable with the company. He was prompt, answered any questions I had and even provided us with extra information. We also had a meeting about 2 weeks before the wedding to go over the final details. He mixed songs for us on the spot and even messed around with our grand entrance song to fit it perfectly for our bridal party. My husband and his mother had a surprise dance after a slow song and DJ Wil was more than happy to work with them. Wil kept the schedule on time and made it seem effortless. When planning our wedding, the things that were most important to us, across all our vendors was: professionalism, responsiveness, knowledge, and friendliness. These items were especially important because we decided not to have a wedding planner, meaning we would have to put a lot of trust in our vendors.Soundwave Productions knocked it out of the park! From our first meeting they were extremely professional. Once we selected them, we knew we were in extremely good hands. DJ Keith in particular was our main point of contact and DJ for our event. It seemed like he was having a better time than us! In the planning process and also at the event.He satisfied all our requests, and made suggestions based on his years of experience, that ultimately made it a better event. In fact, he had already DJd multiple weddings at our venue in the past.The online scheduling tool that Soundwave had was also very helpful, for both planning the reception and giving DJ Keith a sense of what songs we liked.Would highly recommend this company. The pricing is also very competitive (we shopped around and couldnt find anything better).

My wife and I just had our wedding and reception at the ENC and loved every minute of it mostly because of the help of Dj Keith. He did all of his own set up which was lights,dj station for the dancing area, a toasting set up, and the ceremony pa system. He also got all of the timings for the ceremony and things like toasts and cake cutting to run smoothly. When it was time to dance he really helped everyone get dancing and kept them on the dance floor. My wife didnt stop dancing the whole evening. For the final song he came out and danced with us and we had a ton of fun. We will definitely recommend Soundwave Productions and DJ Keith to anyone that is planning an event that wants to have a great time!
DJ Wil did an amazing job at our wedding. Im pretty sure my husband put over 100 songs on our must play list (which obviously isnt possible to play all of them) and Wil was able to decipher/pick and choose perfectly between all the songs. We were bad at narrowing everything down and he didnt need it! I dont think there was a moment where we didnt have every age group on the dance floor.
I would give them 10 stars if I could. All of our guests said they had a blast, alot of them said it was the best wedding theyve ever been to! Dont underestimate the importance of a dj/mc, its equally as important if not more important than the food, dress or venue. People arent going to remember the dress but they will remember how much fun they had. DJ Wil surpassed our expectations, he got our guests engaged and hyped up the experience with awesome song choices throughout the night. I must admit, Im a picky bride... We met with 5 dj/mcs prior to meeting DJ Wil and soon after our meeting we just knew he was the one. He gave us really good tips when we were reviewing our reception schedule. Our wedding wasnt easy, 1/3 of our guests only spoke chinese, 1/3 only spoke vietnamese and 1/3 english. He managed to please all of them! He even helped mix our first dance song which turned out perfect!
We had DJ Moises as our DJ for our 9/17/16 wedding. He did an AMAZING job! The entire process from beginning to end was easy and made our wedding go on smoothly and flawlessly. DJ Moises was extremely attentive and very detail oriented. He even went as far as getting us drinks from the bar! We received a lot of positive comments from our guests on the music that was played. Soundwave pros came highly recommended to me through my planners and wow- they really lived up to their reputation! They also do beautiful lighting which is a must added touch to your reception. We did chandeliers, uplighting, and paper lanterns. When it comes to a DJ, i know it is kind of a blind trust situation-but i promise you are in GREAT hands with soundwave-especially DJ Jake!! He was so much fun and made the night amazing. We also suggest doing the CO2 smoke tanks for the dance floor-they were a huge hit. Also if you’re really into music you can have a huge say in the songs you pick and they have a great online portal where you can plug everything in. Definitely recommend!! They made the wedding a success!!

We hired Wil to DJ our mixed culture wedding. This was quite the challenge since Im Armenian and my husband is half Chinese, half white. We wanted a good mix of Armenian music and American music. Wil didnt shy away from the challenge and was in fact excited to try his hand at DJing Armenian music. He spent 2 hours with me on the phone so we can be on the same page about how the music should be. On the day of, my dad made a last minute request for our father-daughter dance and he was able to accommodate. He was an amazing DJ and entertaining Emcee that kept the dance floor packed the whole night.There were people of all ages and ethnicities at our wedding and everyone had a blast!
Will was our DJ and he was very good at what he was doing. We were looking for a passionate and high energetic DJ and he was the one. He was also dedicated because he injured his back a week before our wedding and went to ER two days before, but he still acted well at our wedding. We really appreciate what he did!
These guys were flat out awesome. They came recommended by some personal friends of ours who hired them for their own wedding. So upon request we were able to book DJ Wil, not only because we heard he could rock the turntables, but also heard that he was very thorough and he could also speak a little Korean(for our family and family friends). Throughout the entire process they were very thorough, professional, and they definitely knew their stuff. But all that planning doesnt do much if the execution isnt done right. Thankfully, it was done very right. Wil did exactly what we asked - which was to keep the dance floor jumping! Even when my wife and I were busy and couldnt get out onto the dance floor, every time I looked over to the dance floor it was full and definitely happening. I actually was a little jealous every time I saw all our guests having fun without us haha. But especially when the program was over and we had some time to join our guests, Wil made sure the music was poppin to keep the dance floor alive! He played a lot of the songs/style we requested, a lot of 90s hip hop and classics. But what was cool was that hell cater to your every need, and he even did a great job of going off the song list we prepared and mixing the songs really well! With Soundwave you definitely wont get some generic DJ that plays the entire song all the way through and just goes to the next one like a spotify playlist or something. Theyre legit DJs and the mixing in between songs felt natural and smooth. Anyways, Wil was super accommodating, and long story short, he did a fantastic job! Id highly recommend Soundwave for any wedding or private event in which you need a DJ/MC!
This company was amazing! DJ Mark was so professional and had everyone dancing the whole time! He was flexible with last minute changes and accommodated everything we asked for. We lucked out in finding Soundwave Productions at the OC fairgrounds wedding fair (which I wasnt even planning to attend). They were the only DJ who actually had music playing, friendly people working their booth, and I couldnt stop bouncing my shoulders to the sweet jams that Keith was playing in the background. Long story short, we booked Keith, who was the MC of our dreams!! He made the planning process so easy, the night of so memorable, he met up with the groomsmen before hand to make sure he was doing his part to get to know our peeps, and truly did his best to ensure our dance floor was never empty! Their website was very user friendly, easy to navigate, and half of the music we requested for our special dances/etc., he was able to find and play with no questions asked. Wow. Chris Berry was amazing. Our wedding wouldnt have been nearly as great without his djing skills. So many of our friends and family came up to us afterward to let us know how great he was. He did our lighting, the audio for the ceremony, and even threw in the CO2 canisters (which was a wonderful touch). He was also quite reasonably priced. Cant recommend him enough!!
We hired soundwave to do our white dancefloor, floor design, drapes, backlighting and DJ Chris Berry. It was so convenient and they did an amazing job decorating the reception. DJ Chris was really easy going and professional from the start. Im glad we hired them!
Luckily, I was able to find Soundwave at a relatively short notice and for an affordable price for my 18th birthday. Their service definitely exceeded my expectations. Chris was always quick and prompt when responding to my calls and emails. Dj Elliot was very accommodating, he cut music that i need for a ceremony and helped me choose where to cut the songs. Although i changed my mind several times, the outcomes was absolutely perfect. He had lots of energy, played all the song requests, even the more discrete ones, and he did his best at providing the dance floor with an abundance of energy. I would most definitely recomend their service!
The DJ makes the party and thats exactly what DJ Wil did. He is our super hero! He knew what songs to play to get the crowed going! he had all our guest dancing the night away! Any time we had a question they were very quick to respond.We met up with Wil to review last minute things and he helped us create a timeline.. we didnt know we needed one and he took over and created one for us and sent it to our venders. He didnt have to do it but took that extra step to ensure he went above and beyond.We also got the white dance floor, decal and uplighting ( highly recommend) it made the hall look extra nice!Overall, we are very satisfied and all the guest couldnt stop talking about how amazing DJ Wil was :)Thank you for going above and beyond for us on our special night!
Wil was INCREDIBLE!!!!!Theres not enough I can say about Wil. Weve received so many compliments on our DJ choice and the dance floor was NEVER empty. At our first meeting, Chris and Wil were great. On their website, we were able to hear mixes from all the DJs to learn each of their styles, and we were so excited to work with Drew - in one of his mixes, we even heard songs we forgot to add to our playlist!In the months leading up to our wedding, the Soundwave team sent a detailed form for us to complete to really learn our vibe, and we had a follow-up call with Drew as well - we clicked right away!On the day of, Drew was incredible, and the ceremony and cocktail hour ran as smoothly as we couldve asked for. When we got to our reception room, we even saw the DJ booth had our names displayed so beautifully - it was the nicest surprise!The energy was so high throughout the night, as Drew kept the speeches, bouquet toss, and cake cutting running perfectly. Cut to the dance floor after dinner, and we couldnt have asked for a better DJ set. Drew totally understood the type of music that kept our guests hyped, and kept us dancing until the very end!We highly recommend working with the Soundwave team :)

As I walked around the ballroom to greet guests I could see so many friends and family dancing and smiling. I knew they were having an amazing time and thats what we wanted to provide for our favorite people.The music was a perfect selection of oldies, hip hop, and romance. When we first met with Chris, he was very prepared, professional, and fun, so we knew that we had found the right person for the job. SoundWave’s system made it really easy for us to request songs and ensure that Chris understood the overall vibe that we were looking for. We are the type of couple that spends the entire night out on the dance floor, and Chris provided the perfect music all night long for us to have the most fun and dance the night away. He was perfect as a host for the wedding as well because he did not get too involved and make the wedding about him, which was exactly what we had asked after seeing other DJs do so! He also provided beautiful lighting for our reception, which changed to different colors to make the dancing even more fun. But our favorite part was the CO2 guns! 2022-05-01Our wedding was February 26th and it was the best day we could have ever imagined. Chris, our MC and DJ, had a huge part in that. He was AMAZING!! from the planning, to the flow of the wedding, to the music and the lighting. Everything was on point. We had a few guests tell us every time they wanted to leave the dance flow, the next song would come on and it was always good so they couldnt leave the dance floor. 2022-03-16We loved working with soundwave throughout the entire process . They have an awesome online system that gave us music ideas and allowed us to simply upload whatever songs we had chosen . It was so easy to use . Our meeting with Chris left us feeling at ease knowing he would make our day amazing. 2022-06-18These guys were absolutely amazing for our wedding. They were professional and very communicative leading up to our wedding. The pre-wedding zoom call helped set the stage for all of the music and specific requests. The day of, we just let them take care of keeping people on the dance floor, and our wedding was small, but they made the reception a party! The Dj is also so much more than someone playing tunes. Our DJ was doing lots or skilled transitions between songs and really showcased his skillset while keeping the party going. They did a great job interacting with our guests and MCing the party.

He worked with us to capture every musical mood of our wedding day - from the 60s/70s California sunshine cocktail hour to the 40s/50s romantic candlelight dinner reception to keeping EVERYONE ON THE DANCEFLOOR ALL NIGHT LONG WITH THE BEST THROWBACKS/PUMP UP SONGS! If we were getting married again, we would hire Chris in a heartbeat! We cannot say more wonderful things about him!
