I like shopping there because its very close to my home but the last mornings I got there at 6am opening time and the store was still closed but yet there were at least 10 employees working with none of them even caring about unlocking the door and the shopping carts were still locked up, I told them are you going to open up and they just didnt seem to care and one guy even smirked, not how you run a small neighborhood business especially when larger stores arent that far away and Ive been going more and more to their competetor because of their attitude.
Doesnt have name brands. Couldnt find what I was looking for. When i did pick 3 items the checkout lines for the only 2 lanes open stretched all the way back into the isles! No Express Lane. Chronically long lines. Had to go to another store, again.
To me this is better than Walmart. It is a smaller Costco in some ways. It has unique items, in bulk and reasonably priced. The produce is average, but again priced right. The only thing is that it dirty on the outside. but if you need consumables that you cant find at Costco. It is fine.

This store is a hitter mess only because every time that I go there I tend to leave with out Ill leave the items on my list. The produce is good and fresh. I live the next city over and wish this store would send us Weekly Ads. Instead I have to get them online.
Good selection of produce, clean aisles and shelves. Decent prices and variety of name brand products as well as their own label products. Good selection of meats and poultry, not as much in seafood.Check out Lines arent too bad, 10 items or less line moves pretty well. The check out Lines do tend to block the adjoining aisles during the peak times.
Always clean and well stocked. Even during this pandemic they have only run low or out because of shipments. I go here before I go the the local grocery store closer to my home. Great place!
Great prices, very clean store.Very long lines, usually only 2, sometimes 1 cashier on duty. Not exactly friendly workers, but not rude either.Few things I noticed:I go there every other day for one reason or another, usually because Im in the area. At checkout, my cart is always scanned, they told me because its to verify the underside has been seen, yet as I waited in line a month ago, which took almost half an hour on average, I have only seen 1 of the 7 other peoples cart in front of me scanned. I paid attention to this, and my cart is always scanned, while most others are not. I do not want to jump to conclusions as to why this is, but it is annoying.There is never an employee when you need one. just yesterday I was looking for a kind of beef, and I walked around the store three times looking for someone. I asked the cashier to call someone, they did, and nobody showed up for another 10 minutes.Great prices, very clean, but the service needs work.
I like shopping there .they have great prices on the things i need. Other stores has double the price on the things i need so i get a price at smart. Final a good deal
Line was pretty long to check out.Didnt have a lot in stock that we were looking for.Patrons in the parking lot dont care about direction or lines on the pavement so beware and be safe.
Today was not a good day. I got up early only to find out that I could only purchase two beef items out of the five I had chosen. I guess beef is not an essential item for a family. Time to place the family on a diet and become vegetarians. 🥦🥕🍆🥔
They had charcoal but no lighter fluid😔 had to go somewhere else. I love their fruits & veggies though

Athina was constantly distracted, only talked about her nails. She told two people in front of me to social distance yet she had her mask down as she checked them out. What kind of hypocritical employees are these.
Decent perices but lines are always so long they spill over into the aisles making navigating the front of the store impossible.Plan your trip with an extra 20mins to stand in line.Very poor service as well. If youve never been to this store, and dont need the bulk sized item, dont bother.
Never enough cashiers during peak shopping times; double check sell by dates on dairy products, purchased Greek yogurt on 12/3 and when I was ready to eat it, it didnt look/smell normal and thats when I noticed a sell by date if 11/26, still had receipt and brought it to staff attention but was not given a refund or replacement. things that only in ghetto Antioch.
This smart & final is very nice. The produce is always fresh and the staff is great. I shop here at least 3times a week.

Bulk purchasing power without membership requirements. In and out quickly with smooth checkout. Enough open registers to make it so. Drawback is quantity limits on some ad specials.
Every time I go in this store rather it be morning, noon or night . The staff is super slow. There always only 2 register open. Theres no since of time from the cashiers they at poorly trained. On top of that there communication system is iffy .. so cash only
I love Smart & Final, everytime I go in their I find some great deals they have everything I need for the food I make as well as the food containers. Its a one stop shop 😍 got to love it!
I often visit Somersville to go to Smart & Final which I love! New store with all the amenities of a big chain. Their store brand First Street is really very good!

Its hit or miss at this location, sometimes it jammed packed long lines not enough checkers or its perfect, you have to time it right, sometimes the staff is professional & sometimes not! I dont shop here on a regular basis, only once in awhile.

2022-07-12Excellent customer service every time and Ive been there looking all kinds of ways, but decent! Im sure they have excellent security in place, but no ones ever following you all around the store. The clerks and such are so very welcoming, polite, professional, courteous and helpful. Good bargains on everything they have in stock.

2022-07-17Its alright. I like the lottery machine in the front, but there really are no deals here. Its easier to go to Winco down the street for better savings. I still come here for convenience, but its so pricey.

2021-12-30Why open up at 7 am if you gonna be stocking products up and ignoring the customers. I went for a box of cereal and the only cash register open was blocked by employees on a cart counting products. The cashier also as soon as she saw me went to another cash register to do only God knows what. The employees blocking the cash register entrance ignored me for like 5 minutes and didnt dare to move out of my way so I could do my purchase instead told me to go around, then they called the cashier over and the cashier with an angry attitude ring me up she was mad because she stops what she was doing to was helping a customer instead. If you gonna ignore customers to stock up and get mad for helping them then dont open up early and provide better customer service
