I was saddened to learn that this Gurudawara Sahib has tables and chairs in langar hall. In Sikhi, we practice equality, humbleness, and humility along with many other things. Sitting on the floor as equals symbolizes and highlights these teachings in our faith. Tables and chairs go against the concept of pangat... where we sit in a line as equals shoulder to shoulder no matter caste, status or anything... you cant have pangat with tables and chairs. “But we’re all equally sitting on chairs” No… the floor brings out humility in a person and makes us no better than those less fortunate people sitting on the floor outside the Guru Ghar.also sitting on the floor is a sign of humility, humiliy is somethign we must strive for in sikhi... like now do we think were to good to sit on the floor?

Very friendly people. We are upgrading the water pumping station in the corner of their parking lot. Couldnt be any nicer or caring people.

Very welcoming congregation, especially so on Bandi Chhor Divas/Diwali. I stopped for food, to meet members of my community of a different faith, and they made an impression on me. Please consider a modest donation if youre stopping by to celebrate with them.

Unique place not because of the location but people. Very interesting culture. Everyone is equal and treated with respect. Anyone who walks in is welcome and will be fed after service. What a great gratitude. Great place to get spiritual.

Happy Diwali World, food was amazing!! The sad part, I dont have a 2nd stomach to eat from other vendors. I was way too full. Thanks to all those loving people for the free delicious meals it was my first experience and the people are just adorable. I posted some pictures to share with everyone.

I went there on New Years Eve. I read something written there that truly, completely touched my heart, Oh Lord I only go by one name, Lords Slave This enlightened me no matter how much money one has on his/her bank account,no matter how his/her social standing is, no matter what country/race/religion/caste he is from, no matter how he/she looks, no matter how fair/dull/white/black his skin is, were all Lords Slave at the end of the day. Thats our real identity right there. It was an amazing first experience there. Will look forward to going there more often.
