I loved it.....had a blast. The river had lots of water so it was peaceful. The owner Chad made a big flat area in front of the cabin to alow a full view of the water. The cabin came with a bbq. The room we picked was priced very fair....I now found a new place to stay with the family!!!I wish all the hotels in the area had the same vision.
Not sure what people were talking about, but this place was clean and awesome. The staff are adorable and sociable. For people who complain about no WiFi, etc, why rent a log cabin when there is so much you can enjoy without that. Would highly recommend and you can’t beat the river view in the back!! Thanks for the hospitality and was perfect for part of our anniversary weekend -Chris and Gloria Parker
Our vaction here was great. The only down fall is the older gal who checked us in. She talked our ears off. 5 stars to the young lady who does the cleaning. Our cabin was lovely. So clean and smelled fresh. The house keeper was on site. And stopped what she was doing and asked if we needed any help. I recommend these cabins.
Great location, i would stay here again in a min.We did have 1 issue, the shower it was aweful, no water pressure, i mean none.. took forever to just get wet. FIX THE SHOWER!!!! We even took the shower head off and it was clogged somewhere in the pipe.. the sink was fine, great pressure.Cabin was clean, great heater, nice view of water, close to everything and the caretakers were very nice.Woman who helped us put a note on the bill about a credit so when we checked out, maybe a discount. That never happened..
The reviews for these cabins are all over the place, but it was last minute and only 1 night so I took a chance. It turned out to be a really cool experience and I enjoyed my stay. You check in at a general store that has all kinds of necessities and from food to beauty products, and also run down cars, taxidermied rattlesnakes, and general junk/treasures. I had to holler for help, but the guy was very friendly and we made a few jokes. Marissa, a cheerful young lady did the check in. She told me everything about the cabin and where I was going, and gave me a gallon of cold water. She seemed like she really cared and is trying to get the place turned around. She gave me an entire bottle of shampoo when I told her I forgot mine, and checked up the next morning to see how my night went. This is a very small, family owned business. It is not a 2 star hotel like Google has it listed, its several seen-better-days buildings down a very steep dirt road, (my SUV was fine but if you have a sports car or something else low you wont make it) and right next to route 198 and the entrance to the national park. I stayed in cabin 9 with the wraparound deck and the extra bedroom upstairs. These arent log cabins, they have stucco walls and terra cotta roofs. Mine smelled like Fabuloso immediately, which may be what others are referring to as pesticide. Come on, you all really never smelled Fabuloso? 🤣 As far as the bugs go...... youre in the middle of a forest so theres just gonna be some bugs people. Any cabin along the river is going to have a few that make it in. Its part of the experience. My place had a full kitchen, it wasnt pretty but everything worked and there was coffee. It was fully stocked so someone could cook and serve a whole meal for a large family. Temperatures were in the high 90s to low 100s when I visited, and the 2 air conditioners got the place cooled down quicker than I expected, but still took a bit, so in the meantime, I went to the river and stuck my feet in the cool, crystal clear river. Its the wild west back there, its not a park so play at your own risk. The bed was great, memory foam mattress, and the shower had super high pressure. It looks like they just fixed it. The satellite receiver was gone so there was no TV, but I didnt care. Thats not the point of this place. This isnt lodging so much as an experience. Theres no cell service here and the wifi didnt reach my cabin either (it did work 100 ft outside the door though). Whats great about this place is you can just hang out on the deck and listen to the river carry away the stresses of home, work, family, etc. When its dark, the stars are on a whole other level from what we in the coastal big cities see. Theres what seems like millions of them really twinkling. I could see clearly the milky way and the dippers without even looking for them. So just chill out, drink some wine, smoke some 🌲, listen to the river and the crickets and just be with the forest. Its the reason we come, right?
Let me start off by saying .GREAT LOCATION beautiful. Great for family perfect space for a great weekend loved it..with that said..No iwldnt stay here again..for what this place charges I expect minimum good AC we were dying! A small simple Wall AC unit for a 2 bedroom house..because theyre not cabins .. You will find spiderwebs in every edge of this place like they dont dust .nights were very unsettling. Outside we cldnt hang out in porch because same is very unkept you will get spiders just sitting in a chair...if I paying a close to thousand dollars I expect better
This is a complete ripoff. The description of a cabin was completely inaccurate. It was not a cabin. It was a very small room, as part of a larger home, that had no chair to sit in, just room for the queen size bed for $250 per night. Without touching anything in the room, I returned the keys immediately, still prior to the check-in time for a 2 day stay. I asked for a refund and was refused even though they had it it for two days to rent. Outside the room was trash, rusted equipment and generally a very ugly outdoor scene with no place to sit in the shade. Do not do business with these people. They gave me a big runaround and no refund.
The place is not clean. Neglect is written all over the place. The chairs at the dining table are very stained. There was no Wi-Fi in our cabin. There is a lot of trash outside. One of the two driveways is so broken that one has to be careful not to damage the car coming in. The instruction in the room says that there is wi-fi outside the office so one can sit in front of the door at a table provided there and use it. The rooms are not cleaned daily and towels not refreshed. Upstairs one of the two light fixtures did not work. In the bathroom both florescent bulbs were burnet. The patio felt like it was about to fall any minute. We felt ripped off considering lack of services and the high price of the room. As mentioned by someone else, one is warned that if the rooms, other than the bed and towels, are dirty $100 charge will be added to the price of the room. In case you decided to clean the room so it is clean for the following guests make sure you do not use the white towels to clean. There is not suggestion what you should be using for that purpose.
All horrible. We got cabin 8. Very poor construction not maintained, cockroachs everywhere (room, bathroom, kitchen), no wifi. Very strong smell of pesticide, my daughter cannot breath in the room, so we decide to cancel. We stayed less than 1h. The manager agreed to cancel without fee. But then it charged us the full price next day...
Terrible place !!! . spider under pillow, dirty, ( long over due for deep cleaning and paint job ) , towels good and nice view but poorly maintained. No towel bars or place to hang clothes, french doors are ready to fall off and locks on door poor.Outside lights burned out. Did not feel safe.!!! shower awful and mattress poor. Never go back. Much better places to stay. Pictures on website were not accurate of present condition. We had two cabins and neither one good at any price.
Our experience was awful! The cabins were dirty. The window sills were dusty, stove and microwave oven were dirty and glass doors disgusting. The pictures from the website were deceiving. It was a true crap hole! The plants outside the camp ground were over grown. Ugly dried up tall grass every where. It made it impossible to walk to the creek behind our cabin. In pictures it looked like the creek was near by but in reality it was over 100 feet away . In my opinion, it was not safe! They also had these creepy guy renting long term a cabin next to ours. As a woman, I felt unsafe and begged my husband not to stay there. We ended up getting a room at the Comfort Inn down the road. Chad and Monica refused to give us a refund.
Had a reservation paid for. We got to the address ( a store) at around 6:30pm and it was closed. Called the number and it said it shouldve been open for 2 and a half more hours (until 9pm). The answering machine for the store gave us another number to call for the cabins. Had to drive about half a mile for cellphone reception to be able to call the number. Tried calling several times for a period of time but their phone was either off or the line was busy. We ended up getting a different hotel. Called Expedia for an explanation and a refund and was on the line with them for about 30 mins. They called the cabins management (to a number not listed on the confirmation email) and said they had left an envelope in a mailbox by the store front ( we never got a notification or any kind of information about that). Expedia also said their management refused to give us a refund. Expedia ended up giving us refund on their part.
We booked a cabin 6 months ahead for our anniversary celebration but one day before our anniversary, the manager called us and said you cancelled your reservation and I am calling to confirm it and we rented it to the others!!! We never cancelled it and she lied and also she did not have any evidence to prove it. They RUINED our anniversary and our best long weekend.
Really nice SUPERIOR cottage, #9. Clean for a cabin and our family of 4 are enjoying the private deck with our Basset hound. Nice to have a place to stay with our pet. Can have a fire in fire pit. Manager and people at general store to call.or check in to your cabin were really helpful and nice. We will come back. Having a cabin beats a hotel room anyday! Recommend bring your own bath towels, theirs are small. Jenn and fam
If you have kids get the room with upstairs beds. Cabins are new rustic. The guy from Alaska that works at the general store is awesome, superb customer service. We rented #5 and #6. Number 6 has a kitchen and it is fantastic, made the room so worth it. More to report later.
Worst experience ever I had to book a cabin. I booked it 6 months ahead to surprise my wife but they canceled it by themselves and called me the day before my arrival day and said we are calling to confirm your cancelation!!! But I never canceled it. I asked them to give me a proof for what they telling me, but they didnt have any. I asked to give me another cabin but they didnt. I called owner, he said he will find out where is this problem comes from, but I never received a call from him.
I would have been better off sleeping on a damp rock.I thought the same thing youre probably thinking, Im not fancy and Im roughing it in the Sequoias, a rustic cabin will do just fine for me.This is not that.Checking in sketched me out a little because the text I got from the front desk gave me a different address from the website, but it turns out you just have to check in at a horror-movie-general-store first. Fine. But keep in mind then that any issues that come up through the night arent resolved by a call to the front desk, since there is none. Youre on your own in the cabin until the store opens the next day.As soon as we walked in the cabin, my nosehairs were singed off by the smell of bleach. The floor was like an outdoor slick tile kind of thing, adding to the ambiance created by the rest of the room being furnished with wobbly metal patio tables I guess. The smoke detector was ripped out of the ceiling and the tv was unplugged - when we plugged it back in like the problem solvers we are, it didnt work but made a whining noise that escalated in pitch so we unplugged it again before our eardrums exploded. We stayed in March and it was cold, so Im glad we found the heater for our room - an old space heater with one setting (I guess 2 settings, if you count off). There were signs in the room not to drink the tap water, but to drink the bottled water provided instead. There was no bottled water provided. Now for the worst part - the bed.We hiked all day in the 39* Sequoia National Park. I felt like i could have passed out on the hood of our car, I was so exhausted.This. Bed. Though. It felt like a scratchy sheet over another scratchy sheet over a wood frame. I, a girl who falls asleep on wood floors sitting up, could not sleep on this bed. I woke up throughout the night not just uncomfortable but in pain. My back hurt so bad the next day I had to walk hunched over for a couple hours, which puts a real damper on hiking. All this woulda been more tolerable if the staff was understanding, but they werent. I mentioned the broken stuff in the room the next morning and the guy at checkout said Yeahhhhh, theyre working on that...The TV wasnt working either, it was actually ripped out of the wall...YEAHHHH THEYRE WORKING ON THAT.We didnt have any water or heatYEAHHH THEYRE WORKING ON THAT.The smoke detector was also ripped out of the wall and there were bare wires dangling down.YEAHHHH THEYRE WORKING ON THAT.Dont stay here. Do an airbnb. We stayed at one 3 blocks away the next night, for the same price as this place.
We could not stay even one night! This place was so disgusting I would not allow our dog to sleep there. Carpets were filthy, bathrooms disgusting. We looked at each other and said no way! PEOPLE, DO NOT BOOK HERE! We should have looked into it more, our loss, dont do it!
This place was absolutely disgusting. We paid almost $500 for 2 nights and the cabin was dirty. They only provided two small towels. There was trash all in the back yard. The bed was highly uncomfortable. The dishes that were provided were dirty. For $500 our expierence was HORIBLE. We will not be back and we will not recommend.
This place is a joke water shuts off you had no water to drink ,or coffee, creamer no sweetners ,not anything like, addvertiment ,clean your own room when you leave ,or be charged a extra 100 dallor if not exactly like you found it,booking mistake causing us to have find another room for the night. We had rooms book at another resort, because we were going ,to arrive early we booked with this place, because they had the amount available, they booked us in a room that was full! They also dont leave enough wash clothes, but that was ok ,we had no water to shower when we left! And you pick up your drinking water at the general store as needed ,but it is free! The pictures advertised were very deceiving! Never again!
Worst experience ever I had to book a cabin. I booked by Expedia the family cottage but the man in the general store gave me the cabin just for two and just said I’m sorry it’s all I have , at the ends after call to Expedia he gave me the cottage cabin . The shower doesn’t work , Very unsafe place for families . For shure never will back this place .
The place is perfect and well located! Size and accommodations are exactly whats needed , but these people didnt even make ANY EFFORT to clean the place at all!!! Like at all! Bring your own bleach spray and some sponges and wipe down every surface (toilet wasnt even cleaned, bathroom sink clogged DISGUSTING!!!!!) and youll like it a lot after that. However a lot of other places along this main strip here bet they clean up after the people behind them , maybe next time Ill try one of those could have been 5 stars GO CLEAN THE ROOMS PEOPLE PAY FOR A SERVICE!!!!DIDNT DRIVE OUT HERE FOR A WEDDING TO CLEAN A GROSS TOILET!! Get my drift? Good.
The price is the best in Three Rivers. A very short walk to the river and a bench to sit on. They also were very accommodating in a late check-out for me. Realizing that California is in a serious watershortage the low-flow shower head is a small price to pay for a nice hot shower. Solo, Roemer, Tex from France, and I, enjoyed our peace and quiet at night; and our morning cup of coffee. Also had a wonderful viewing of the Blue Moon Super Moon.
We tried to Escape the Thomas Fire By booking a Cabin @ this place...For Starters they all blamed each other for the Problems we encountered.I arrive at a Cabin/Run Down House on the side of the Road. To find they have not replaced that Propane tank in a long time. The Maintenance man said he does Replace them often, but If they have weeds growing on them, I doubt it!Next I had to do some Yard work in order to even get to the lake.... SMHThey say they offer free Wifi. But you need to hang outside the General store for that, The cable doesnt work, They might have Charcoal Brackets,If you can look past the rude Attitude of the Owners/Managers and except the Cabin with all these flaws, then this might be for you.?. IDK..Cant give them no Stars sooo a 1 will have to do. I would rather go home to my Burning home, then stay 1 night here!
The place is beatiful cabins are nice but there was only 1 roll of toilet papper no clean towels no trash bags no coffe filter so if you stay here go preapared the lady told us we will have towesl coffice the esentials but i was very disapointed we had to keep asking for stuff :(
I was very disappointed with this place the only good thing was the beautiful view to the river ,when arrive the bathroom wasn’t clean the mattress looks and field like 50 years old is impossible to sleep and the shower doesn’t have enough pressure, finally I get home and I can sleep on a good mattress
The room I stayed in was simple but well equipped and clean. I only stayed one night, for a stopover between the big parks, but found the setting and the surroundings very enjoyable (the sunset over the lake near Three Rivers, a few miles from the cabins) is very beautiful). Good value for money !
When you arrive, the GPS will take you to a store, at the door of the store they will leave you an envelope, it contains the key and a map so that you arrive is a mile later. I liked the cabin it has 4 beds, a clean kitchen, with dishes and The river is very beautiful, there is no wifi, there is no signal, it specifies it very well.If there is parking but they are tight and you have to talk to the other guests to get settled, because the parking lot is not numbered

2022-03-22I loved my stay at this cabin! It is so close to the river. The manager was very helpful to me and my family. My husband and I are planning on going out there for another week. I do not know why the bad reviews, because honestly we enjoyed every day that we stayed up there in the woods by the river. Thank you Sequoia Riverfront Cabins it was a awesome vacation for my family and I !

2021-11-09This had to be a joke, but its not. The owner was there when we pulled up. The man was rudeness his tome and Told us there is a surcharge that had to be paid in cash for 2 vehicles. This guy wanted an extra 75.00 for us to park a second car. Since we are on a budget we couldnt do it. My wife cried most of the way home. Happy birthday babe...... never again, HOTELS ONLY from here on out. See it was my idea to get a cabin. Thought it would be romantic and she loves the woods. Buuuut no. Run from here as fast as u can....

2021-06-05We booked cabin #10 online. Arrived unpacked and and the owner pulls up and tells us to leave that the cabin was given to us in error. If that wasnt bad enough he acuses us of trying to take advantage, trying to get something that we didnt pay for. So we threw everything in the car and were driving 400 miles home. Ruined fathers day for everyone.

2021-04-15Cabins location is pretty good. Its by the river ,and its very close to the Sequoia National Park . The cabin itself how ever was very neglected, and needed to be repaired in multiple places. We woke up one morning and found some dead roaches on the floor. I talked to the manager , but he called me a dreamer ,and did not do anything about it . The price is definitely too high for a cabin with this condition

2019-10-15Checked in, and the room hadn’t been cleaned. Someone dirty underwear was hanging on the towel rack. Pictures made it seem like you have a view of the stream, but the plants are so overgrown that you don’t. Grills were all broken, random bricks strewn everywhere. They were very disorganized and put me down for one night instead of two, and the phone number for booking didn’t work. Everyone was plenty nice, but the cabins are just not well kept or well managed.

2021-05-09We’ve had a horrible experience. The place was overpriced and broken down. The wifi and satellite tv don’t work from cabin 6-9. I needed wifi for homework. But, when I asked the maintenance person for help, and he told me I could check out and go somewhere else. Not helpful at all. We promised a balcony, but it was broken. The place has potential, but it needs a lot of work. I honestly wouldn’t recommend it until they fix up the site.

2019-09-12It’s not the ritz......but it’s a dry place to sleep. Its indoor camping at it’s finest.I would recommend that you bring your own bed linens and towels because cleanliness is NOT a priority at this establishment. They do provide you with bottled water at check in which was nice. The gentleman that checked us in at the store down the road was very friendly. If you need comfort and cleanliness then this is not the place for you.We came to enjoy nature and sequoia park and just chalked it up to- you get what you pay for.Cheap stay for a last minute booking.

2021-06-26This was a very cute cabin for us. Remember it is a cabin. The property was like a backyard. Easy access and close the the towns store and restaurants. Very close to the Sequoia National Park.
