Ugh, dirty. Less than a dive bar. The tables are invariably sticky with something and the staff are atrocious. The locals are even worse. Stinking of road dust and asphalt. Come here if you are interested in seeing or enjoying the biker bar atmosphere and looking for a bar brawl.
I go to this place frequently. Make no mistake, this is a dive biker bar, but the people who go there are really nice, and so are the barmaids. If you want to just kick it for a bit instead of waiting on the Cajon Pass parking lot, stop in for a cold one and some conversation. Leave a dollar on the wall too.
It was so awesome, I couldnt get my friend to leave. He was having such an awesome time that he unaware that he was actually peeing in the trash can in the ladies room. The bartender was so gracious and understanding she even showed us her flower. Just to show there were no hard feelings.
This bar was rated one of the top ten bars along world famous Route 66. This biker bar has a great family feel and host lots of bike runs with pool tables top shooters, horseshoe pis and outdoor Deck with great view
Ive been in some poser biker bars but this one is a real biker bar. Very friendly bartender and great selection of ice cold draft beer served in a chilled glass at a low price. The perfect end to a hard day on the motorcycle exploring Big Bear and Cleghorn Ridge Road.
Its was a good time. Smiles and laughter from everyone. One rule at the chicken, you cant be offended by anything or everything, bc if you havent seen it, youll be sure to see it at the chicken. Open mindedness is a requirement when u visit the chicken.
Fun hole in the wall. Drink are cold and the A/C is hot! Pool tables and 2 stand up pianos. Go drink and have fun, you wont regret it!
Well if you ride a Harley if youre riding a motorcycle and like to get your hair in the wind and stop at this unusual little bar cantina well its just a bar and beer and wine so yeah its rustic and rough okay thanks
Yes, it is a full-on biker bar...but dont let that stop you for visiting! I am from south OC, father of two, average Joe and EVERYONE in the place treated me with the utmost respect. Bartenders were absolutely AWESOME - great service and fantastic attitudes. And it was a Tuesday! We met the owner who gave me and my friends a tour and the patrons (yes, a few just out of the joint) could not have been nicer to me. I also learned all about the fundraising the local clubs sponsor thru activities at the bar. Seriously, if you miss out on this place - well, more beer for me...oh, and youre an idiot.
Nice place .friendly people that make you feel comfortable when you walk in.. pretty cool place to stop at on your way home from any place. Get outta traffic for a bit..play some pool or dance on the pole.what ever.

For the most part I enjoy the chicken. Ive met some real good people there. Ive sang there . Ive drank there. and its close to home. when the Langfits owned the chicken my mom and dad frequented there alot. and the treehouse. goodtimes.
One of the coolest old skool dive bar. Its our pit stop going dwn the hill and coming back up. service is great. Many great memories.
Everyone is nice. Cheers like atmosphere. But know before you go they smoke inside. Karaoke on Wednesday nights.

If I could give it a negative 5, I would. They had a flyer advertised for a burger burn on the date of 08/11/2013. It was supposed to be a bikini bike wash and burger burn starting at 11:00 a.m. We were there at 11 and there was only one other bike there. No grill, no bike washers, nothing. We had some beer and played some pool. We had somewhere to be later on so we asked about the burgers as we were getting very hungry around 12. the girls said that someone had to go get the Meat. Excuse Me!. This event was planned for months and we had driven down from the mountains 70 miles away. We waited and waited and waited. Finally, with no grill even brought out, And, the person that they were waiting for had not returned, we left at 1:30 P.M. Went and got a pizza. I would never go back. They dont own up to what they advertise.

Theres something about this diamond in the rough. Dont expect the typical California bar. This is a straight up dive bar. If you woke up here southern California would be the last place you would think you were.

2022-05-11I normally dont go to bars but this bar is one of the coolest bar ever. Even though its a biker bar you dont have to be a biker to enjoy this place. You can have one beer and watch sports,listen to music and meet cool people. The bar tenders are nice and cool. There is no drama. Its located 15 minutes from rancho.cucamonga. if you want a local,cheers type of bar I would recommend coming here.

2021-03-29Best dive bar around. This bar has been here a very long time. A must stop on the way to or from Las Vegas or just to go have a beer any day of the week. It’s off old route 66 that runs along the 15 fwy. Pool table, juke box and nice big patio. Live music on the weekends. They put on great events as well. Bike days and nights. Under new management/ownership so it’s now called Screaming Sally’s (sister bar of Mustang Sally’s in Rancho). Place has been cleaned up nicely. Stop by and check it out.

2022-02-01Asked Google Maps for a British Pub to watch Arsenal and it directed me here. Bar lady was kind enough to switch TV channel to Arsenal match, and watched match to the best rock music bgm. The best british pub Ive been to! All you Brits out there, you are in safe hands.

2019-02-01The chicken is an awesome dive bar that wont leave you disappointed. They have two decent pool tables and two dart boards. For the most part everyone is friendly and easy going. Stop in for a good time!

2019-10-22What can you say about the Screaming Chicken. Biker bar. Cold beer. The ladies working there look like they were hot at one point, but that ship has sailed. Worth a visit if youve never been. Outdoor patio when the weather is nice. All welcome, (club colors OK).
