The service department was excellent. Everyone was helpful and friendly. Francisco is a star in customer service. His lunch was late because he picked me up and i really appreciate it. He said its important that his customers are taken care of first. He really preaches what he says. Had some stuff going on with the business office since Dec2021. Unhappy they really dropped the ball. Would not purchase another vehicle from there. So far we have bought 2 cars from there. It wasnt much $ but what if it was. Cant trust my business with them. So unsatisfied with business office. Manny was helpful in figuring things out. He did his part but still left very mad.Damage was done husband very upset. Be careful check everything you signed even your car fax and make sure vehicle didnt have any incidents in the last 6 months. Purchased a car in 2017 no incidents and there was yrs later to find out. They said it was in Carfax paperwork got home and verified and it wasnt. That brought down value of vehicle even more when trained back in. They took forever to process cancelation of Gap insurance because they didnt find in new system my husbands info. No call, no mail or email.Calling the bank to figure out if it was really taken care off or they just cut a check to cover something. Never again invest with themMy cars are great. I love GM Chevys so far got 3. Truck SUV And mini SUV
Took in my truck to get service for Airbag light someone put an extra 100 miles on the dash, didn’t get no updates while it was there for almost 3 weeks, they stated parts were on back order then stated parts where discontinued after the 3rd week has passed, then they tried Offer A Up sell on used parts no thanks, I have a warranty . Advisor needs for more customer training , overall will never go there again, better off to a mom and pop shop, he couldn’t answer why someone put an extra 100 miles on the truck.? Sounds like they take cars on joyrides , will be looking up the data on the gps in my truck to see where it went ,Advisors last name was Lopez by the way..
Kini Sanborn has a great sales management team as well as a great service team. We have been coming to Sanborn Chevrolet for the service of three of our GM vehicles for over 20 years now. Last weekend was the first new vehicle purchase we have ever made with Sanborn. We have gotten to know Kevin Middleton over the years as one of the Service Consultants that always greeted us, however, Kevin now is the Commercial Account Manager in the front office. I happened to call up Kevin to discuss trading in our GMC Yukon as we were looking to purchase another SUV and he offered to provide us a trade estimate within the hour. When we arrived, he took the keys to our Yukon and gave us keys to a brand new 2022 Tahoe on the lot to test drive while we waited for our estimate. Upon our return, Kevin provided us a fair trade-in price to buy our Yukon and worked with both the Sales Manager Mike Castrucci and General Manger Corey Abel to offer us nice dealer discount and a helpful GM Manufactures discount on the sale price of the new Tahoe. Unbelievably, they were also able to get us a very low interest rate to seal the deal. Finance Director, Justin Prasad, was thorough and professional in explaining our financial obligations and all warranty issues. Kevin was fantastic from start to finish and I would highly recommend seeking him out if you are interesting in the purchase of a new SUV or Truck at Sanborn Chevrolet. Kini, thank you for staffing this sales team who are able to carry on the torch of what your father built for many years. Your crew has earned another loyal customer !!
Sad to hear they let go the collision center foerman John Portcheller whos been a major contribution to their success, a loyal employee contributing many extra hours. John has worked there for over 20+ years. Cant belive this company has no loyalty at all, especially during these times. John absolutely knows best when It comes to collision repair. I personally referred 5+ customers who bought vehicles there because of John. Ill be sure to let everyone I know to go somewhere else now including myself. Sanborn you have lost my respect and business. I will never buy or have my car serviced here again.
Contacting Sanborn Chevrolet was a breath of fresh air when it comes to purchasing a new vehicle and has changed my perspective of all dealerships are the same.I was contacted by Sales Rep Jake Stewart. He was pleasant, gave me accurate information, his character was truthful, and he listen to what I was looking for in a new vehicle. Made my experience simple and easy as he heard my wants. Thanks Jake.In addition to finalizing my purchase, I met with Justin Prasad, Finance Director who witty sense of humor was enjoyable, had patience when communicating contract details, listen and provided warranty options based off my needs. Very respectful when answering the million questions I had. He made my experience stress free in finalizing my contract and warranties. Thanks JustinAgain, thank you both for the experience I had with purchasing my 2021 Chevy Blazer. As I will be a returning customer for my future purchases.
We were told nothing is dripping and units in question were wiped off. When we got home my husband cleaned up oil completely and parked the truck. I went out Saturday and backed the truck out of the garage and immediately saw more oil on the floor. Obviously something is wrong. The truck had been in for oil change 11/23/2021 before we had the brake pump replaced on 11/29/2021. THERE IS A PROBLEM!
I remain very happy with the service I have received from Sanborn Chevrolet. I am always treated very well and enjoy dealing with Andrew. I also take advantage of your ride service and really enjoy your extremely friendly driver. He is without a doubt one of the best supporters Sanborn Chevrolet has. I hope he is being compensated for his excellent service.R. Glenn Lucas
I arrived at 6:40 AM and staff opened up at 7:00 AM. The service department greeted me and started the P/M process. I am a regular customer and have been in the dealership for other needs as well. The service work was performed in a reasonable time without any delays and everyone was helpful.
Once money taken and paperwork signed, no effort to accommodate me getting second key at all (3 trips back to dealership to obtain)… had to air up a tire upon taking possession of vehicle, then repaired “low tire” warning about every 3 days.. nail found in tire… dealer would not repair, replace it even discount any replacement ($385 tire)..SPEND YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE
Service was outstanding and staff was very friendly. I witnessed the quick lube Manager find a towel for am elderly dog of a customer to lay on. It was an outstanding sign of compassion in todays me world. ( kind gentleman with the white hair. I have dealt with him for years.)
I purchased my truck on 20220115 and I have still have yet to recieve my MSO for my vehicle so I can’t even register it yet and Mike in sales has been no help what so ever. The only other person that I was in contact with was Jason Durbin and he did a fantastic job and answered any and all questions that I had.
We purchased a 2021 Chevy Blazer Redline edition. Our salesman Jason went above and beyond for my wife and I. He talked us through the process and helped us understand all the features of our new car. Manny in finance was also very helpful and friendly. Weve never had an easier time purchasing a vehicle than we did at Sanborn. Were definitely coming back!
I needed to purchase tires for my Daughters Buick Regal and had contacted Jason and Andrew at Sanborn Chevrolet in Lodi and not only did they offer me great service but they had kept their word on pricing and the staff were very professional and friendly. They did a great job on my daughters car so I am very satisfying on their impressive service , I highly recommend them for anyone who needs service or just needs to ask simple questions as they are very good in what professional service I had experienced.
If you’re taking your car, do not get service representative Andrew. He is the absolute worse and doesn’t get anything done for you. Absolutely ridiculous. And even if they’re keeping your car for a month they don’t care to give you a loaner because “they sold them all”
There are items in my Tahoe that I wasn’t allowed to purchase due to Constraints stated by the dealer. Also, I received the wrong rims and dealership is telling me they they are the right rims and there is nothing they can do. I have photos of what I ordered and after photo of the rims that are installed on my tahoe
So the part I needed to get repaired needed to be ordered. At the time of the order I was told it will take 3 to 5 days, I waited 2 weeks. I thought that mail issues are out of their hands, so I gave them another week. Still no call saying the part was in. So I called and Andrew Angeles (according to the card he gave me), I also called the dealership first, no answer so I called the cell phone number on the card. When he answered he was very rude, did not let me finish my sentence when I called. When I was finally able to speak again he realized that he was the one that placed the order and realized that they had the part in stock. I don’t know if it was because a warranty repair or a bad day. But I was able to schedule an appointment for another day and I stressed that I needed a ride at 1030 am because I was on my lunch break and he did not have the ride ready. I was late getting back to work. The mechanics did do a good job, I have no complaints about the work that they did. I had also asked them to take a look at my breaks because I heard screeching and they told me that the break pads had 8mm of life left and that GM installed the breaks and nothing was wrong with them. That they are made like that. I asked if I could get another type of break pad but was denied due to GM making that specific type for my vehicle. I asked for a solution to my problem and was told that there was nothing that could be done. I was then handed a print out that said that it is a known issue due to semi metallic pads. I asked for ceramic pads and I was told GM doesn’t make them so they can’t install them. If i have to pay for them it is no problem, I just don’t want screeching breaks I said and I was told they could not do anything about it.
We bought a trailer in Lodi, and were going to tow it home, to San Diego. We’d only had our 2017 truck (that we had purchased elsewhere) for two weeks, but when we hooked up to the trailer, we discovered a wiring problem with the truck. It was a Saturday, but Sanborne’s service dept. was still open. Andrew, the Service Manager, offered to help us troubleshoot the problem at no charge, and even crawled around under the truck with me. Unfortunately, the problem turned out to be a failed fuse block, so we were unable to get it fixed that day. Andrew got us in first thing Monday morning, and out the door in the early afternoon. We weren’t local, we didn’t buy our truck from them, and they could easily have put us at the back of the pack. Instead, they did everything they could to help us, and fixed the problem quickly. We are very appreciative
Extremely rude and unorganized. We took our 2020 GMC in for service at the service center and informed them we were traveling cross country with an airstream. They sent us over to the quick lube and said they could do the full checklist. Two days later our check engine light came on and we went back to get a diagnostic. They took the car and gave us no details. When we called they were extremely rude and said “I can’t predict the future” to even let us know if our truck had been looked at. I asked to speak to a manager when we showed up and they just kept giving me the run around. If I could I’d give half a star to the service center.
The service seems to be good, however I left my car there for two days and not once did anyone call me to give me an update, an estimate, any information about what was wrong with my car. I called four times to get some information, and three of those times I was told someone would call me back, which never happened. Finally, the last time I called I was able to speak to someone who had info about my car who said it was ready to pick up. Luckily I had another mode of transportation and didnt have to figure that out. I would rate the customer service and communication a zero, my car seems to be running fine now so 5 stars for fixing it.
When I got there service representative wasnt friendly. When I brought up other things to be added it was a complete no. There was no in between. I had to follow up with the status of my vehicle up until the day it was fixed and ready for pick-up. When I picked it up I continued to inquire about a feature being added to my vehicle and was told that my representative would contact me Tuesday and I have yet to hear from him.Im very disappointed in the service at this location. Ive had service at another location and have never once felt like I did at your location.
Pretty great service! Had the bumper on my car replaced after having been rear ended. They said they would have it finished by the end of the week, and then they ended up taking a few days longer. Thankfully, they paid for a rental car to cover those few days over their promised finish date, which was great since I had been counting on having a car for the weekend. They did a great job fixing the bumper and trunk alignment on my vehicle!
In general, it was just an OK business transaction. I wouldnt say it were outstanding. Didnt want to offend you guys in anyway but my experiences with Stockton Toyota and Lodi Toyota were much more satisfying. I didnt feel like I was sincerely valued as a customer. Furthermore, your associate(s) did not go through everything thoroughly as people at other dealers do. I was referred to your dealership by Costco auto program. I remember when we purchased the Toyota FH cruisers, the associates there did show me the MSRP as suggested by Costco (Tip: View the manufacturers invoice and MSRP for the vehicle you selected so you can see how much you saved as a Costco member!). In any event, I truly hope that our future customer-dealer relationship would encourage me to refer other friends to do business with you.
Im actually surprised to see the amount of positive reviews for sanborn chevrolet. I was in there the week before Christmas to buy a truck. Daniel was the salesman I dealt with, he was alright. The sales manager, Mike,, was very rude and unprofessional. They got the mileage wrong on my vehicle and when I pointed it out to him, he got an attitude because he has to rewrite the contract. He didnt speak to me the entire time unless he wanted me to sign something. Not to mention the finance team was rushing the sales process because they had other customers possibly lookin to buy a car. They cashed my down payment check twice, leaving me with absolutely no money in my account. This place has been a disaster to deal with from day one. I will NEVER return, or refer anybody to this place. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because I actually like the truck I bought from there. Other than that, terrible experience. I was treated like a little kid the entire time.
Special shout out to John Portcheler and John Berwick, the crew at Sanborn is, in my opinion, the best in the business, I am very picky about my 2006 GMC truck, but every time I have taken it in, it comes back in perfect shape and in a timely manner. I would recommend Sanborn Chevrolet to anyone.
I took my 2010 malibu to Sanborn chevrolet because the Check engine light turned on and ny car went into a power reduction mode. I was afraid to drive it, so I towed it there. After I payed $804.83 in parts and $850.49 in labor. They said it is fixed. So I drove it to work that morning and everything was fine, on the way home same thing happened, chk. eng. and power reductuon. So I took it back the next morning, and got a ride to work from a friend. They called me that afternoon to tell me my car was ready. So I picked it up after work. Sure enough same thing happened on the way to work the next morning. So I drove straight to sanborn after work in reduced power mode. The next day the mechanic told me I need a new thermostat and it would cost me $500 but he would only charge me $300. I cant pay any more money to have you shotgun parts at my car. So I went to auto zone and bought a $20 thermostat and installed it my self. A few days later check engine light, power reduced mode. I am driving on expired tags and u need to smog which is impossible when the check engine light keeps comming on! What am a supposed to do?
Service Department:This Chevrolet dealership has restored may faith in the service centers for the brand. My service representative, Andrew, was courteous and knowledgeable concerning my nearly brand-new vehicle. I had an appointment for 8:00AM and I had my vehicle back by in 45 minutes. They didnt have the part in stock, but promptly ordered it and got me on my way.The part was received two months later and my vehicle was repaired almost immediately by them. Two months is a long time, but I figured it must have been due to the delivery driver strike and supply chain issues. I would have appreciated a call sometime during the wait to let me know they hadnt forgot about me since it was an extended period of time (This is why I took a star), but that was my only issue. If you, like me, are highly vigilant with a vehicle youve invested $30,000+ in then youll be relieved to find service here if you are in the San Joaquin area.
Kevin, and Brad are very rude. Its terrible and when you get mad that theyre rude. They will hang up on you. And they fix your vehicle with generic parts. Do not recommend at all. Even the service manager Robert is rude and hanged up on me. Thinks he can run the business the way he wants. I hope corporate or what ever boss he has will listen to the conversations him, his staff, and I had when I called today trying to speak with each of them to get my car serviced. Wish I would never gave them a dollar of my money in the past. They never even once fixed my car right. People do not matter to them, they need to change theyre music playing on theyre telephone line. I cant believe there still in business. With the way they treat people. Taking my business to another Chevy dealer to get serviced. Everyone dont go here go somewhere else. Or youll find out how these workers are running there scam place.Call on date. 5/10/19Called starting between 2:30 - 3:15pm.Called a total of 3 times between these times.
BUYER BEWARE!! This dealership does NOT care about you. I bought a 2018 GMC Terrain, under warranty still, and the sunroof broke. After three trips to Sanborn, it’s still not fixed. They have had to replace part after part after part. They never return my calls, or follow up. They clearly do not care about me or my car. I’ve been trying to get it fixed for almost two months, and I am still waiting for a call back from the service department. I am very disappointed, I will never return to this dealership or recommend them.
I needed to replace 2 blinkers that I was told by another service shop was “too difficult to get to”. I’m in my last month of pregnancy and I really needed someone to do the changes for me. Sanborn did an excellent job streamlining the process between someone doing the lights, having another person check their work and another person processing my payment.
Typical car dealership. Sent photos of the inside and outside of my Toyota Camry and was offered $2000 to come down to the dealership to sell. Traveled an hour and thirty minutes and was offered around $500 along with negative comments in regards to the pictures that were sent. I wasted my time and felt like I was lured down to the dealership in order to make a bad decision.
You had our pickup in your shop for 2 Full Weeks for a set of shock absorbers. For a mere $1489.23 I received a set (4) shocks which gives me the worse ride EVER. As you know, I am an old guy whose rides go back a long time so I know a bad ride when I see one. This is now the worse ride I can remember - and to think that I paid as fortune for it.
My husband and I had a great experience buying the Tahoe of my dreams.Manny and the whole team went over and beyond to make us a great deal on my 2021 Tahoe. They showered my 33yr old special needs son with all his favorite things in the world. They gave him Chevy hats and posters of his favorite Chevy cars! He collects them.Thank you everyone at Sanborn Chevrolet for the best car buying experience on the planet!
We purchased our new vehicle with Terri, she was very nice and easy to work with. The SUV was having a battery issue... we took it to our local mechanic and the battery needed to be replace. Terri was kind enough to check up on us regarding the battery and sent us a check reimbursing us for the cost of the battery!! Besides that everything was great!! The SUV was ready for us upon arrival.
These guys know how to take care of their customers. You may pay little more in repairs but I know they only have to fix my car once. They have steered me wrong. I can count on them to tell me the truth and not a story just get more money. They have saved me money by giving all the discounts that I qualify for and they are happy to do that for their customers. When I bought my used GMC Acadia from another dealer I also paid for a 3rd party warranty. These guys got the most use out of that warranty and saved me a lot of money. I have nothing bad to say about this dealership.
Worst customer service and financial department person I have ever experienced! They had my 75yr old grandmother sitting there for 7hrs to get a car they should have never sold to her in the 1st place when in the end they were going to take it back a week later, they were informed in the first place that she didnt have enough income on her own after her husband passed but they still did it just to reach some quota! We had to return the car now that 7hr + 3hrs of our time was wasted in total! The hole thing was ridiculous, the only reason she went down there was because we got something In the mail that said she was a winner of a new car,and the rest of the town got the same scam in the mail too!! They were rude and inconsiderate through and through. The one only person I want to give credit to for being so kind, helpful ,and respectful the hole entire time when no ones else was is a sales man there who I believe was from out of town but he was a really nice black man named Chris and I wish i knew more about him to give him props but I know Stacy from financing is rude and shes the one whos fault all of it happened because she should have done her job.
The day y car was damaged while parked. L took lt to Sanborn Chev.. knowing the repair would be done correctly The Mgr. gave me the estimate. John Berwick told me the day IT would be ready to be picked...up Great work like brand newAs usual good workmanship and service.
We have had our oil for our Chevy HHR changed at Sanborn Chevrolet for the last seven years for multiple reasons. First of all, they are always so nice when I take the car in. Secondly, they dont dilly-dally. They get the job done quickly and correctly and, up until the drought restrictions went in place a couple of years ago, theyd wash your vehicle for free! Lastly, whenever I dont want to wait for my car, I take off with a friend. When they are finished with the car, they park it for me until my return. Then when I get back, all I have to do is pay for it and Im out of there! Thanks guys!
I went to another GM dealership to get service and was very dissatisfied. Sanborn staff not only made me feel like a valued GM customer but where able to get GM to fix my out of warranty repair. They have gained a loyal customer. I highly recommend this dealership service department. They are fair and honest.
We were stopped for gas with almost 9 more hours in our trip home when our fuel pump went out. I called Sanborn and talked to Greg. They had the part on hand and got started within an hour when we arrived. We were back on the road in under four hours. Thank you Sandborn!
Would give a higher rating as I have taken all my cars here for a while but, today after the oil change I was driving down the highway and realized they did not close my hood completely. Luckily I was able to pull over and close it. Could have been a serious issue.UPDATE - shortly after posting my review i received a call from the dealership. They were very apologetic and assured me this would not happen again. I really appreciate them reaching out and being proactive. How one deals with problems makes a world of difference.
Lost a fuel pump in Stockton. Called Andrew, and he took care of everything including tow and transportation to complete our business trip. Major job on our Corvette was done before he promised and under budget. Took from service and drove 900 miles straight without a hitch. Great job guys...Highly recommended!!
I contacted five different auto dealers to help me build my truck, a custom model that we want to tow our travel trailer. Manny and Mike at Sanborn Chevrolet were the only one who returned my call. Mike was amazing, even gave us insight on what to look for in travel trailers. Highly recommend if you want the best deal possible.
Earlier this week I went into Sanborn Chevrolet after having a terrible experience at another dealership. Terri Wilson at Sanborn was extremely kind, helpful and supportive in helping me navigate the end of my lease and the purchase of my vehicle. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone who is looking to purchase or lease. Stacy in finance was also extremely helpful and kind. The best of a dealership with sales people who genuinely care about working within the customers means...go see Terri!
My car is currently in the collision center it is one of Allstates shops. Juan is who is helping me and has answered all my questions and concerns. I have not seen the final product yet but so far i am impressed with Juans level of knowledge and customer service. Will update once final product has been received.
The service department here is a joke, if I could give 0 stars I would. EVERY SINGLE VISIT I have had more than several issues. Jobs were forgotten, did not get done correctly the first time etc.. I had to return 3 times to get a door mechanism fixed and was without a car for almost 2 weeks. I vowed to NEVER return here but had one more free service under my certified purchase which was about to expire and I needed an oil change. I called to make an appointment and was told I had to just bring it in. They told me to bring it in on a Saturday where they turned out to be closed for the holiday weekend!!!! I was missing work to be there waiting thinking they were just late. The service men in the car wash were working and advised me that the service dept. was closed but they’re the ones who do the oil changes anyways and that they could accommodate me. I was very appreciative until I ended up sitting on the side of the road with my dog waiting for a tow truck when my engine overheated on the way home from them not putting the coolant cap back on 😡🤬😡 will NEVER return and will make sure everybody I know knows not to go there.
Awesome people, good service, and very friendly. They where willing to pick me up and drive me home if I could not manage a ride into the office, not many places would do something like that. They saved me when I did not have a car, and helped lowered my overall apr.
When we first came to Sanborn to see what was on the lot for Tahoes it was raining but Terrie came out and offered her help we said we were just looking so she offered a business card and left us to look around. When it was time to be serious about what was wanted I went to Terrie and told her what I wanted my Tahoe to have. This was not a Tahoe on the lot so she sreached she found one but it had a few things not what was wanted. Then she found another one and it turned out to be beautiful. Thank you Terrie it was a pleasure working with you. And no matter what question I have she is more than happy to help, and she always has a smile for you. Terrie you were awesome Thank you Sandy Weaver
My grandparents recently purchased a new 2018 Chevy Colorado from Sanborn Chevrolet in Lodi. They dont have email... LOL so they asked me to put this review on for them. My grandmother says this was the easiest car buying experience of her 76 years. My grandfather at 81 is so in love with his new truck he shines. Their salesman Manny Mora was never annoyed by their consistent questions. Manny went out of his way to find them the truck that they wanted, he got them the color they wanted, all the features they wanted, and did it seamlessly. Even after the car buying experience he continues to answer the phone and answer all questions they may have. My grandparents were so happy with their buying experience they brought their daughter less than a week later to purchase her new vehicle from Sanborn Chevrolet as well. My grandparents just cant say enough about how Sanborn Chevrolet, Manny Mora and his Finance team made their last car buying experience the best ever! Thank you Sanborn Chevrolet!
I dont know if they are going thru service managers or what. First time I took my car there hands down the best customer service. Last time I was treated terribly. My recall they fixed still has the same issue. Cant get anyone to return calls after numerous voicemails left because you can never get a live person.
Possibly the worst service I have ever encountered has come from this popsicle stand.Kevin will try to void your warranty for 20 dollars. The managenent seems to be in on all of the little scams...Use as a last hope, if you need an emergency car wash or something.Like most GM cars today, theyre far from onshore. Cocky and lazy until further notice.Look up service then go in and see if any of those qualities exist in this shell of a dealership.
Wow ,Im over the moon about my new 2017 Ford fusion hybrid, I drove from Merced to Sanborn Chevy in lodi to get this car,My drive home I got 44.3 mpg in my new car , thank you MANNY MORA for all your help in getting me the best deal. If any one needs a car please go ask for Manny he and his team or awsome!
My wife and I came to buy a car and our first experience was horrible, than we went into Costco website and were able to get a discount, we decide to give another opportunity to Sanborn for our business, Terrie Wilson was the most pleasant, awesome kind person that help us out, made the first experience disappear, thank you Terrie and Stacey for changing our bad experience.

2022-07-26Andrew and everyone in the Sanborn Service Department are consistently friendly, informative and helpful each time I bring my vehicles for service. Communication is particularly important when facing a potentially expensive service or repair. Andrew does an excellent job of keeping me informed of the service status, is accurate, thorough, and professional. I also want to recognize Alfredo, Sanborns customer service ambassador and courtesy shuttle driver, who is always friendly, positive and a very safe driver. No one likes it when the check engine light comes on but I feel more at ease knowing the folks at Sanborn are there to help!

2022-06-10Andrew in service didn’t treat me like I mattered. The part for my truck was back ordered for several weeks, which I know he has no control over. However, treating me like a customer is in his control. I would leave calls asking the status of my truck with my name and number and wouldn’t get any call backs. I stopped calling his specific line and called the general service line and only then was I able to get a hold of him and get a status on my truck. When I got my truck back I wanted to order a new key fob because I had lost my old one. I told him I was part of the Portfolio 5 service program. He denied that I was and became almost belligerent. He told me to go in to the main showroom and to speak with Justin. Justin looked it up within seconds and confirmed that I was part of that program. I asked what I would need to do to open a claim. He said I just needed to go back to service and that Andrew would open it. I went back to Andrew with the information and he told me i needed to open the claim. I told him that Justin said that Andrew was supposed to open the claim for me. Andrew confessed he wanted me to do it because he had filed one earlier for another customer and it was a difficult process and that he didn’t want to go through it again. I refused and said that it was his job. He did it then begrudgingly. When I was finally able to drop off my truck to be programmed with the new fob it proved to be an issue as well. I was told that it would be a two hour process. I dropped off my car at 8:56. I called and left a message for Andrew at 2:27 and got no call back on the status of my tuck. I called again at 3:21 and was transferred to Andrew’s desk by another service agent; he wasn’t there. I called the general service number again at 3:34 and was told that my truck was completed hours before but that I wasn’t called because Andrew hadn’t submitted the documents yet. Andrew made my experience at Sanborn horrible. I don’t want to ever work with Andrew again in regards to anything with my truck. I’m not even sure if I would return to Sanborn again other than to get any issues dealt with in regards to my portfolio 5 program. Before Andrew I would have recommended Sanborn, but now I don’t think I would.

2022-06-03I came to the dealership to get my Chevy equinox the 100,000 mile service along with any other general maintenance. Andrew was the one who helped me through the whole process, they got it all done in a timely and reasonably priced way. I love my car again. Would definitely come back again.

2022-07-12Scheduled an appt for our 5500 AFTER our dealer (who doesnt work on 5500s) called their service dept to confirm that they work on this size truck, and I also spoke with service to give them the trucks details. We show up for our appointment after driving 2 hours (with diesel $7 a gallon) to get there and they inform us that they dont work on that large of a truck. They should train the people who answer the service department phones to actually know what type of trucks they work on. Ridiculous. We were in need of a good diesel mechanic for our other trucks, and our friends are always looking for recs but we will be steering clear of Sanborn.

2022-07-28Our Colorado died suddenly on the highway 5 hours from home. Had it towed to Sanborn about 3:00pm and they were able to shuttle us to a hotel nearby. Picked us up the next day at noon and had us back on the road! The hotel ended up costing more than the repairs! Can’t say enough about how fast & courteous their service was. Thanks guys!!!

2022-06-28I was in need of options to extend a warranty for our vehicle. I was put in contact with Justin Prasad from the Finance Department. Justin provided me with which options were available, and which options were reasonable for the vehicle. He also informed me of loyalty programs for our benefit and gave us a convenient timeline to process our selection. Justin is professional, realistic, not robotic, and provides a no hassle experience.

2022-06-28We had an excellent experience with Sanborn. We first tried shopping locally (Bakersfield, CA) but the salesman were not friendly and seemed bothered to be answering my questions. So I started looking on the Chevy website and eventually found Sanborn and Terrie Wilson. She has been so patient, transparent, and answered every question. I did not know it was possible to have such an easy and great experience. Once we got to the dealership everyone was friendly and warm and we didn’t feel pressured. Shoutout to Manny in financing as well. We will gladly drive the 3.5 hours again to work with Terrie and the team again!

2022-04-28I brought my truck into your dealership after having it looked at several times someplace else. Your team not only found and justified my complaints but explained that Chevy says that the way the truck is functioning is expectable and needs no repairs. I appreciated that my concerns were validated and addressed, even if they could not be corrected. I will continue to use your services as long as I have this vehicle.

2022-04-01They treated me like a real person. Great attitudes and customer focused. A much better management and service team. Service agents are customer focused and friendly. The General Manager, Cory, is open and treats customers with respect.
