This is the review for the Saks online store.Received a five months expired foundation, didn’t find out until two months later which was already 7 months expired, I only used twice since I have more then 20 bottles of foundations and I want to use it in colder weather later. So I contacted them hoping to return it for a refund. First agent told me to send them picture evidence and she will request a refund. I did. Three weeks past and nothing. So I contacted them through live chat and I got disconnected 4 times in the middle of conversation with no reason so I had to tell them my situation again and again every time I talk to a new person. They said my refund request is cancelled because I can’t prove the item is damaged. I never said it was damaged, it was FIVE MONTHS EXPIRED, not sure why the first agent marked it as damaged.More then a whole hour on live chat they finally send me a return label but I had to pay 9.95 usd return shipping fee. I asked them why am I paying the return fee and they say they will REQUEST for a return fee refund later. I feel like they are trying very hard to make me not to return it and it doesn’t make sense.Who knows I will have to deal with even more problem when I send it back. Will not purchase from them anymore, horrible, sending me expired foundation at the beginning is already their fault, and they try very hard to make things difficult.
Incredible, as always, service on the busy Saturday before Christmas. I entered expecting to locate suede black gloves, and then was greeted by the nicest ladies at the cosmetic department. I then decided to take a look at trying a new mascara and was blessed to meet Melissa, at the Chantacaille counter. Yes, its pricey but her service was A+. She was generous with some serum samples and really went out of her way to help set up my card, as I hadnt used my Saks card in quite a while. Huge kudos to Melissa, as I never intended to buy any cosmetics, much less fro a new-to-me brand - Chantecaille. Then, within 15 feet, I see the scarf/glove accessory room, where I originally planned to visit - and purchase suede gloves. The nicest lady helped me for an hour, and I finally paired gray mink gloves with a luscious lamb scarf - the most beautiful scarf Ive every owned (up there with the one I found in Zermatt Switzerland). THANK YOU, Saks Fifth Avenue, for brightening my Saturday and enhancing my holiday, all-winter-long wardrobe!
Today my first time Saks Fifth avenue at Beverly Hills location, first at all I was looking for mens cologne department talked to Zara, very nice person suggested some colognes, she and other lady on her side were very professional job, forgot her name, when you visit this location ask for Zara she will help you for sure. Thank you much.
After spending an hour in the store to find a black-tie dress with my wife, only 1 sales associate ever approached us (thank you Paul on the 3rd floor). I understand inventory is limited due to COVID, but after this experience I can confidently say it’s not worth returning to this store. I carried about 10 dresses around the store but nobody seemed to offer us a fitting room, so I had to find one myself. I would probably be offended if it wasn’t simply comical. You will get better customer service and selection online.
The Beverly Hills store has absolutely the worst customer service of any retailer I have ever encountered. Yesterday, I brought back some online purchases for return and the sales associate only credited me for 6 items not the 7 I returned. I emailed the store manager and called 6 times and was put on hold and can not reach anyone to credit my account. This has taken the better part of today. I guess I will have to go into the store and hopefully resolve it there, but I dont live close to it. Customer service is terrible at Saks.
Worst experience ever at Saks. I love Saks Fifth Avenue but my experience at Beverly Hills wasn’t good at all. I was looking for something specific at the store and the sales lady who helped me wasn’t very helpful. It’s as if she didn’t care of what I was looking for and she wasn’t very helpful. You guys should improve your customer service and let me tell you the customer service was TERRIBLE!! I am never shopping here at Saks Beverly Hills again. You guys just lost a customer and from now on I am taking my shopping somewhere else. IMPROVE YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
Well, no not so good.2nd floor. An Jacket at Ralph Lauren was marked on discount, I go to cashier and they say, sorry its not marked down. But its clearly marked, I say.He calls tht manager, a lady I believe, who said we wont honor the ticket price. The entire rack was still marked down.No problem, I wont shop there anymore. The 2nd floor at Saks
Excellent selection of designer items but service was awful. On numerous occasions I was ignored by sales associates. I suspect they assumed I wouldnt purchase anything since I wore leggings and an old college sweater. This kind of discrimination is annoying and flat out disrespectful. I reluctantly purchased a designer hand bag and shoes. If the deals hadnt been so good, I would have rather not give them my business. They should really practice better customer service here. I recommend anyone going to dress well or they wont be helped.
I am very disappointed with the service that my daughters and I received at Saks today. The associates were rude and at times overlooked us to help other customers who came in after us. Im never one to complain or even try to use the race card but I noticed a common theme today. When Im spending my money Im paying for excetional customer service as well. Saks fell short. Do better!
Antiquated structure and poor customer service. Tried to return an online purchase, was directed to go “upstairs”, there were 5 floors. Spoke with a group of older sales women who were hesitant to help, told me there was no central customer service area and directed me to cross the street to the Men’s store and try to return there. Just walked out after that, terrible experience. Seems like they’re great if you’re trying to spend money, but can’t be bothered otherwise from the trend of the reviews.
No one immediately welcomed me or greet me when I walked into the store. As you walk in, it’s overwhelming. You don’t know which direction to turn, designer products literally everywhere you turn. I saw a deal online that I wanted to check out in person. I’m glad I decided to see in person because online the item was totally different. A Gucci purse was one price online but the picture was of a completely different purse. I still ended up purchasing something, because I had planned to purchase a Gucci bag very soon anyway within a month or two. Sheila, was very nice. She understood what I came there for and assist me in figuring out what I truly invisioned. Very nice lady. Three stars ‘cause as I stated no one greet me as I walk through to give me that ‘welcome feel’.
Its a beautiful store with awesome merchandise and some of the prices you have to do a double take to truly appreciate. I saw a celebrity there too on my first visit! The cosmetics counters are run by beautiful people. It is an honor to work with them on my beauty and my clients beauty. Good sales and great selection of merchandise, the service is fantastic too.
So I am not your typical Saks customer...so I hit up the clearance section and found some incredible bargains for my daughter. She needed new bras and I did not want to spend very much, as she will probably grow out of them soon. Toni assisted us and she is professional and lovely...super knowledgable and helpful. I found clearance bras from $14 to $21 that originally cost from $60 to $80!!!
I had a terrible experience With Saks BH and I won’t be returning. I tried to make an exchange and was told within a sea of customers returning what could be looted items with no receipts btw... that I could not get a refund as my item was Fendi property and was worn! Yes tags were off and a long period of debating the fit occurred but it was not worn for any longer than the time to reach the car.I’m terribly hurt and insulted by their actions
I would love to give them zero stars if I could. I ordered something online and Fedex lost the package. I get it, stuff happens. I have been dealing with Saks customer service for 2 months and still am waiting on an answer. They are rude. They promise to call you back I and never do. There’s no answer to why they can’t refund my money. The tracking is clear the package is lost. The refuse to call Fedex to verify. They just keep telling me to wait. For what?!?! After my experience I started reading reviews and I now see I am not alone. These reviews are all telling the truth. Don’t shop here. Go to Nordstrom’s or anywhere else where they actually care about you.
Racism is alive and real at this mall. I would rather drive 1 hour to south coast plaza. Avoid at all cost. There are plenty of sales idling. They look you up and down, but never bother greeting you. I wanted to check out two Armani dress, and would have probably bought them. Too bad no one bothered helping me.
Went to this store yesterday wanted to exchange a shorts that a I got as a gift for my birthday. I found the same shorts another size that worked for me perfectly. When I said I want to exchange to the sales person David Madrigal he changed his friendly smile to and angry grimace. He told me straight to the face that she is not gonna get her commissions from the exchange and that I had to tell him about it from the beginning so he wouldn’t waste his time on me. Well.. it was my worst experience in the store and I will never come back there because of David
Worst customer service team ever!!! Saks, do yourselves a favor and improve your customer service team!!! You’ve lost so many customers because of them! I will NEVER shop with Saks again for the hours and days it took to beg the team to get me to a supervisor and still don’t have support days later!!!! Worst worst worst!!! Can’t state it enough!!!!
If I could give this place -1 star I would. My family and I went to look for prom dresses for me and the minute we walked in they treated us like peasants because we weren’t like the other customers dressed in Gucci or Louis Vuitton. The funny thing is my mom can defiantly afford to shop there. Just because we weren’t dressed up, no one wanted to help us or guide us to the dresses. Also when we were walking out of the store one of the workers followed us out because we hadn’t purchased anything and assumed we stole something. I wouldn’t go to this place if you don’t want to be treated like a peasant. You shouldn’t have to look a certain way to shop somewhere in Beverly Hills. Just a bunch of rich freaks.
They treat you like a burden. I legitimately felt like trash because of how they treated me. I’ve never felt so degraded in my life. I wouldn’t send my worst enemy here because even they don’t deserve this kind of treatment. I was thrown from side to side because the employees there (who weren’t even doing anything) were too good for me. Even if it’s in the next city over, go to ANY other location. One of the employees saw how the others were treating me and said they the way they were treating me is disgusting. Fix yourselves
Come here all the time. Came here today to shop, didnt find anything I was looking for. Wanted to validate parking and Jay told me that with purchase only. then he told me that its my problem for not buying anything and still need to pay for parking. Then he said that he doesnt have a validator. Called the manager Favio and he was not able to help me out either. Horrible customer service and no longer validates parking. Does not value repeat customers.
My second visit here, the staff is extremely inattentive. Good luck finding anyone whos helpful.God forbid you wear a pair of jeans in there, theyll look you up and down and not give you a 2nd look. The only redeemable one is Coco on the 2nd floor. Ill keep to the online store but if need be Id look/ask for her.
Very very unprofessional cashiers. A manager gave me attitude when I was trying to use my store credit. No hello and thank you is one thing, but grabbing clothes out of my hand with attitude and paying with store credit gave me a rolled eyes look. The store wasnt even busy that time and no body was in line. First you just grabbed stuff from my hand with zero greeting, okay, and gave me the wrong total for my items, I politely pointed out the error and you just got extra mad, then paying with my store credit only took you extra 5 second, no need the rolled eyes look. When you finished, you literately just slide the clothes to me with no word, and continued your conversation with your co-workers.
This review is for mens jewelry department. Their customer service is terrible. They refused to accept a return of a never worn item in the original packaging with the sales receipt purchased one week earlier. This was against their return policy. Both sales person Vinny (or Vinnie?) and the manager Grayson were nothing but arrogant. The same item was easily returned at another Saks with no questions asked.
Saks Fifth Avenue is defiantly a store in a league of its own. I love visiting Saks with my wife! Its a great place to see the newest designs and couture! Apart from having a wonderful selection of products, the Beverly Hills location hosts two stores across the street from each other. One dedicated for female products and the other other strictly for men. There is also a 4 floor parking lot adjacent. So parking is all ways free and never an issue with store validation. Over all I consider Saks on of my favorite places for basically all my fashion needs!
Their customer service sucks! They ruined my husbands anniversary gift. They cancel the order and never notify me and when I called I spoke to Rene their manager and got no help at all. We used to be great customers, but I guess we will find other business which will appreciate us.
Incredible, irressponsible staff, very bad attitude. The shoes department was complete mess. Shoes every where... staff doesnt care at all. We left angry and upset, leaving the goods at the register without buying anything, way below the Saks fifth standarts. Management should do something...
Typically, you find this kind of discounted deals only in remote outlet centers. Here, you are in the very heart of Beverly Hills, adjacent the stylish Beverly Center (recently renovated for $1bn) - and even better: While most outlets are somewhat short of staff, in this I was always able to find a helpful and above all knowledgeable hand. This, in combined with undoubtedly the best fashion shopping deals in town makes this store my #1 shopping recommendation in LA - making it a waste of time to travel to any outlet. Even if I were in Camarillo or the Palm Springs outlet, I would do the detour and shop here. Well done, guys, I must say, extraordinary well done. Thanks for reading my comment. Now, if you are curious enough about my rating scheme, heres the moment of truth. I am a music photographer who travels the world with the worlds greatest musical talents (Michael Jackson, AC/DC, Rolling Stones or Rammstein, to name a few) for almost 40 years. When being asked where do you live, I tended to ask in hotels. At my peak, I shot 250 shows a year. Will say: been there, saw and tasted it, and a lot, as I may say and much to the dismay of my doctor who is in my back to lose a few pounds. Quite a few, as I may add, which is why my wife and I walk ten thousand steps per day, where- and whenever we can - and explore a lot of new exciting places - places you may oversee when just driving by.While I love to share my experience with others, I am sometimes shocked how people use their power of the word to down-rate amazing places because of minor incidents. In my all-time favorite restaurant, Le Petit Four on Sunset Plaza the owner was even called a racist as he refused to toast the (free) bread in his packed restaurant - they do not offer toasted bread, as no French place does, as I may add). Or I just read Chicken piccata so over-salted I hope the dog enjoys the leftovers tomorrow, I brought home most of the dish. Did they speak to their service? How could the restaurant learn that something was wrong when patrons even have their leftovers boxed to take home? As a dog owner, I want to take the writer and shake him or her bad and say you give over-salted food to your dog? Anyone with a bit of brain understands this is a horrible idea... I hope you agree. So If I had a say on this portal, I would offer to see the ratings of my friends. So I would see what the scores were by like-minded people. Sadly, I have no say. I try not to compare apples with oranges. A place like this does not compare to Bijan on Rodeo Drive. At first, I assume that a shop is clean, they do not greet you with a gun - and they deliver whatever they promise. I do not give stars for things that are expected. In my rating scheme, three or more stars are awarded if they exceeded my expectation. Four, if I am sure I will come back. To achieve five stars, I must be willing to take a detour of thirty minutes or more to go again, which, in this particular case, certainly applies.Thank you for reading this.
What a horrible service! You call the phone number, have to select multiple options for departments before being able to speak to anyone, and then when you finally get connected to someone, its at an outsourced operator in what sounds like the Philippines! Is that really what luxury service all about these days?!
You website sent me wrong product. I sent you email 2week ago. But I received no reply. Your service man just tell me go to the local store to change. Its not my wrong!! Why should I waste my time and gasoline. Why? Ill go to ins and facebook, google map ,Anywhere tell everyone your website is just a garbage! Your store is trash. Your service man so bad.
I called the store with the provided number on the website and it keeps reaching the Saks club extension. The person picked up the phone was very rude to me as I explained to her how I needed to reach the handbags department. I overheard her over the phone saying oh my god and I felt very disrespected.
Guy on the first floor helped my step father and right in front of him I asked for his attention twice, second time he looked at me from the corner of his eye and walked away.I get it, stepdad was wearing richer looking clothes and I was wearing athletic shorts and a tank top but to straight up look at me and ignore me when I wanted to inquire about shoes angered me enough to write the review.Stop hiring A Holes.

2022-07-09If your going to spend money on clothes like this go to Neimans next door. Huge difference in customer service levels. Disgusted the way I was treated here. Not someone to write reviews but my last visit was so terrible. I hope u don’t make the same mistake as me and stop by here. Footlocker has better service . You’d expect more of somewhere with such high luxury.

2022-01-29Went to return an item and starting with the valet, then doorman and gentlemen who helped with the return all were extremely friendly and welcoming. I love this particular Saks as I always have had similar experiences. There is obviously a great manager of the store with customer service in mind to pick these excellent people.

2022-07-03We had a great time while choosing sunglass. The man who assisted us, Mister Bill was so nice and professional. Saks should hire more people like him this way, people will end up buying more! and have a good experience

2022-05-30Absolutely horrendous experience shopping there. I purchased an expensive designer pair of shoes. They did not have my size in store so they told me they would order it. The pair that was delivered to my house was in terrible condition. Shoes had clearly been worn, there were visible tears. The next day I brought the shoes to the store expecting an exchange or a refund. The clerks and manager were unprofessional. They initially refused to help stating that the store policy prevented them to take back worn shoes. I spent an hour explaining that I received my order in this condition and had to defend myself against their biased attitude, having them interrogate me in front of all the other customers and clearly implying I was responsible. After a heated exchange, they agreed to look in their database to track where the order came from, that’s where they probably realized their mistake and finally agreed to reimburse me. This is not a luxury store. This is a glorified Walmart. I am still shaken, in complete shock and disbelief over that experience. I will never set foot in this store again and strongly urge you to avoid them as well.

2022-06-25Everything was fine. On par with most SFA outposts, save for Flagship NYC. Older store, but nicely laid out. Good shopping destination with valet parking. What more could one ask.

2022-04-08Never buy anything at this store nore online!!!!!If you have any kind of trouble with the product, you will never get a refund or you may not even get the product and just loose your money.I just want my money back since the purchase was shipped back to the store. Im waiting 2 months already but the customer service is useless, they just do nothing but keep telling me to wait. What had happened to Saks??

2022-06-03I often go to SaksFifthAve in BH store, though I purchase most clothes/item by their online store. The customer service at this store are very welcoming, friendly, and attentive. I used the alteration service of their dress department first time for my daughter’s prom dress, and it was very good quality and professional. In particular, a gentleman name Walter of dress department has a top-noch service. Highly recommended.

2022-06-10The team in the cologne department listened carefully and then quickly found a perfect scent! I am for their attentive care during our visit!

2022-03-16Will never purchase from sacs ever again horrible customer service. My order shipped but never arrived and they refuse to make things right. I’m now stuck paying for an item I never received.
