I left an item on the bus. Sadly the RT system is really bad and prays upon the vulnerable people who have no other options but to use rhem..but in the least some of the employees at the customer service and lost and found section are compassionate enough to help where they can. Despite the operation hours for lost and found making it imposible for me to retrieve my item without taking time off work, these great people were able to help me still retrieve what I lost. I feel the higher ups are very corrupt, sacrificing our safety and showing no compassion for us but do not want to overlook those few who could easily say they are just cogs in the machine but dont. Thank you. You prove there can still be decent people found willing to help in the the worst our city has to offer.
Amazing. Everyone that works for RT Metro is always on there A Game. I was completely satisfied with the care and service I received. I will come back every month to purchase my monthly pass. I highly recommend purchasing there monthly pass. Imagine that being able to get anywhere in Sacramento and having it paid for monthly. Basically never having to worry about transportation. Get a bike and buy a buss pass. Go green. And never worry about gas. Mission Accomplished thanks to RT Metro.
Sometimes the ride is great and others terrible. It depends on the train driver. Ive gone with a friend who has a service dog and some drivers refuse to let it on. Weve gone with a small wagon to buy groceries and experienced the same problem. The watt I-80 has a new train driver who rides the breaks if you take his train and it makes for a jerky ride all the way which almost caused me whiplash. Another time I tried to board via the handicap ramp and couldnt board bc the bus driver was busy using his cell phone. I even called in his window but he ignored me and took off causing me to have to wait for the next train and making me late for my appt. Most times the drivers are friendly and its a good ride but Ive had too many problems riding the public transit to give it more than 2 stars.
We had a tough time finding them but a great little neighborhood. Once inside SHOCKED by how helpful personable and pleasant the lady who worked with us was. None of the caustic careless service you might expect. We see urged our photo ID a d were on our way in minutes.
They clean the handrails on the buses and light rail trains once every 20 years, wether they need it or not. I ran a clean hand wipe over a short section of handrail on a rail car, and it came out black! I did the same thing on two other rail cars with the same result. They hire street bums and street whores as drivers.
I go hear once a month to renew my Connect card, the staff is always been great, but this is what I really want to say, the times that I had a problem to report, the staff was more than great, they listen to me and help me with the problem that I had at the time, and got back with me, didnt expect such great service.
I took a friend to get his disabled pass. Construction was taking place and it made it very hard to find. Since I have been there before, I was able to find back streets to get us there. It was a mess and if you hadnt been there before, you probably wouldnt have been able to find it. Once we were there, it didnt take long for my friend to take care of his business. Thats one thing I like about the Sacramento Regional Transit Center. They take care of business very quickly. The lobby is always clean and well stocked up on the different bus schedules. You can even make it easier on yourself to buy a book that shows all the bus and lite rail schedules.Last time I was there it only cost $3.00. Well worth the money.
RT seems to be trying Slight reduction in the fare ($2.50 was $2.75) but more importantly the transfer option for an additional 25¢. Without the 25¢ transfer its too expensive to pay for every leg of your trip. I have definitely been riding more since the October fare and transfer change. My only interaction with customers service is on the phone. Wait times too long.Need more buses. Enough rail. Too expensive to construct, not flexible and responsive to changing commuter needs or special events. Buses are very flexible and inexpensive. Love dial-a-ride. Plus you cant sneak on a bus without paying the fare and menace the paying riders.Do you really think anyone at RT cares what we think?
Place seems a bit sketchy, but is fairly clean and orderly. nobody likes waiting in line - but, this is not the dmv. the folks at the window are nice enough. be nice. there are lots of nearby places to get something good to eat, before you hop right on the lite-rail which runs right out back!
A mexican lady employee that works there...is super friendly than the rest who works in the building. Someone tried to cut in front of me and the colored woman made a rude remark that I defended myself that I was there looking for my funds to pay a semi weekly pass. They all need to take a brain exam and personality test.
Even though the RT staff seems nice, they move like snails. If you gotta be someplace in a hurry, it be a big mistake to stop here first. The staff also may have a problem with the customers and you wont know it until you are charged twice for the same I.D. leaving your pockets hurt, as well as your heart. RT isnt good for the poor kids.
Professional and on time. A clean lobby to wait for appointment. After interview, they will tell you when to expect your ride, I thought a paratransit bus was coming, but turned out a cab arrived. It would be helpful to you if you ask what transport you will watch for, as my driver honked and honked. I dont give my ride home a too good review
I was totally lost and came in to buy a monthly pass for the first time. Getting too old to drive especially at night and on the freeway so I thought I would start using the street card bus system here in Sacramento. The two young ladies that help me were absolutely terrific. I didnt know what to do and I walk myself through the whole bureaucratic system with their help. Its kind of the place that you only go to if you need something but if you use public transit and need to buy passes this is the place to go and say hello to those young ladies for me theyre beautiful
Alot of the bus seats all falling off and super nasty. The drivers stop at each stop so hard u gotta grab n hold for dear life. At night the ac is blasting cold u ask them to cut it off please sn do it for 5 mins and its right back on. I do like all the ways u can pay so u dont even need cash anymore. The app is convenient for me and i see moee n more people using it. The bus with the camrea makes u feel a little bit more safe.
The lady that helped us out she was so nice we had an obnoxious person in front of us disrespecting the company and others but she handled it in a professional manner how to recommend a raise getting too stressful drunk guy in front of you I appreciate that facility and the people there easy in easy out are you guys hiring
Every morning I get on the lightrail and head to work. I like that there is usual some type of body/security guard at each stop. And I appreciate being able to not drive to work in crazy traffic every morning. What I dont like: always dirty, smells like piss or garbage or weed. Trash on the floors, seats not clean. It all makes you not want to touch anything let alone get comfortable in the seat. Security doesnt do much but try to keep peoples feet off the seats and talk to their regular buddies.Keeping a schedule seems to be a big area of improvement as well, I have been late to work on many occasions. And catching it after work, standing in the dark for 30-45min while 2 trains show up at the same time, is a huge inconvenience and uncomfortable for a sole woman.Unfortunately, Id really prefer riding transit than driving to work, but the service and the train overall needs help. Shouldnt sacramento be proud of this system.
I was on my way there with a complementary escorted trip to renew my certification and the driver hit the curb while turning right, hard enough to knock his hubcap off. He got out of the car to check his tire and put the hubcap in the trunk but when i told him my back was hurting he said absolutely nothing. I hope it was on film. I had to go see a doctor about it the next day as i was in so much pain. Very little regard for the people in their care.
Im a normal customer they know me pretty well in there and they know a lot of people that I deal with I love Sacramento regional transit I think they should get special notice to some of their ploys like Raekeitha she is really really attentive really good and I know shes been there for years really hope she gets a different position because she can teach others a thing or two Hope some day she will be manager or supervisor she really gives off a wonderful vibe and boost morale Ive been coming here for around 10 years and shes been great every time
Friendly helpful staff who help with passes and navigating the transit system. People seem to complain, but great this city has such a large and efficient public transit. I would design the maps a little clearer, but otherwise great. This office is just behind the 13 street light rail and only few steps away.
I ride Monday thru Friday. I take bus 30 JSt/SacValley from Sutter Medical Center to the lightrail station on k st - I ride watt/I 80 train to the end then take bus 93 Hillsdale ..home. Its not a bad ride every afternoon and to be honest Im not waiting very long at each station. All routes seem to run on time. My only complaint is the elevator area at the watt/I 80 station - rude people use it as a urinal. I realize its a bit difficult to stop this from happening because people are rude. However I do see cleaning crews out there every other afternoon spraying it down - trying to stay on top of it. Thumbs up for that!!! Its definitely appreciated.
Having recently moved to Sac, Ive used SacRt a number of times and like how affordable fares are, the bus drivers are really friendly, the buses and light rail are clean and if you lose something you can call their lost and found, leave a message and someone will get back to you in a few days to follow up. (patience is a virtue) 😉My only complaints with SacRt is1. Zip pass, this hasnt been updated in over a year and man does it have some bugs to be addressed! There is some bus stops that are not current.2. When you pay for tickets on your phone there is the occasional glitch that closes out the ticket and returns to main screen, Ive had to explain it more than once to a driver and a few of them know how whack the app is and let me and my kids on.3. The interface is outdated and should be easier to navigate and save stops and schedule trips.Last if you need to goto the transit station on R Friday afternoons are usually pretty dead and you can get in and out fairly quickly.
SacnTransit is generally unreliable, use at own risk if you need to be somewhere on time. Long lines during lunch time and before closing at this specific location. Facility too small for length of line so youll be standing in the sun for a hour. Just go online and get the zip pass instead.
No bathroom access. Sure the homeless might mess up the bathrooms and take the toilet paper but at least theres some place to go nobody really wants to use public toilet but when you have to go if youre sick if you need to go if your elderly youre youre screwed I mean every single human being in this world needs to go to the bathroom and if you do it in public you get a ticket so we need to provide places to go its just a fact of life
There was a gentleman who was very mentally disturbed trying to fill out forms there. He was loudly reading the forms for a disabled ID card. He really needed help. The staff just ignored him, until he left without getting what he needed. The poor guy made it difficult for the rest of us public transit patrons...
The City of Citrus Heights cares about its disabled riders and picks me up promptly with the City Ride. I had to go to a retail store today and they picked me up at my house and picked me back up and dropped me off at my house much quicker then a cab did. The bus only costs $1.25 per way and its a bargain compared to the cab company that wanted to charge me over 20 bucks for a one way trip.
Mixed reviews on driver(s) friendliness, there are some good and some bad. Same with the trains that arrive on time, mixed results. The main concern is the lack of personal safety. There is security at light rail stops only, but rarely on the trains or on light rail. They have cameras In all buses and trains, but so far they have failed to provide footage for three and all incidents I have been informed of or was a witness too.Personally I have been a victim attempted theft and a family member of mine has been threatened on the regional transit system with little to no intervention by security, operator, nor bus driver. Not to mention the costs has doubled for the second time.I would think twice about using this transit system.
Bad service. hiked up fares and refuses to bring back transfers making us poor and disabled riders shell out more money that we dont have,so they can turn around and and give us tickets or kick us off the train and thier property. if it wasnt for us they would have no business.
Really only 2 cars on a tuesday morning for the 714 train at watt manlove. Now im late for work because there was no room to even get on the damn train. This is unacceptable. And who would have guessed the 729 train is late. I hope RT takes this stuff in consideration next time they decide to raise the fare.
No matter what time of the day I go there is always a line out the door....two cashiers but one usually stops to help with the photo ids....and sometimes its just questions people have....that being said I will sometimes get the Folsom train down to 29th street to the Coop no lines in and out in a matter of seconds💥
Filthy, expensive, slow, and scary (FESS). Sacramento needs to get on board and truly support its RT system. The security guards are like 11 years old and they are a joke. I will save the gross details of what Ive seen on RT. But to sum it up, you cannot keep raising rates simply because the city is inept from contributing to the proper management of its transit system. Wake up Sacramento!
Suck soooooo bad. They should have special bumblebees on the train to hand out late passes for work. Been here for half an hour. Sure, a three car train packed to the freaking gills stopped. Since somebody vomited behind me (and Im SURE he had a pass, hahaha), I dont like being packed lick a sardine. Sure am glad Im paying for them to go to the arena. Im SURE people will take this POS system. Still waiting. SUCK SO HARD!!!!!!
My son catches lightrail to/from school and although he LOOKS like he could be a grown man, standing at 6 ft. 4 inches and weighing in at 359 lbs. - HE IS NOT; and he wears his Sac High uniform and carries his school ID and recently expired RT ID to prove that he is a minor. However, certain bus drivers are always giving my son a hard time as if ANY grown adult would go through the ridiculous idea of disguising themselves as a Sac High student just to save $3...??? So instead of having to deal with rude and ignorant RT operators or take the chance of my son becoming disrespectful towards the operators (because I raised my son to be respectful to adults), he chooses to walk, which is a waste of my hard-earned money paying for his monthly Youth Pass. Most RT operators are rude and disrespectful to passengers, especially minors and although I understand that at this day and age, the younger generation can be a HANDFUL (for lack of better words!), I hate to think that this is how my son, a respectful and kind-hearted, GIANT-of-a-kid who would give the shirt off his back to help others in need -is being treated.
In the miles and miles of light rail tracks, the many stops, and the self proclaimed greatness of Regional Transits services... THERE ARE NO DAMN RESTROOMS for passengers. What does that leave these people to do... urinate on my fence and defecate behind my neighbors bushes. This is an ongoing problem that Regional Transit tries to ignore.Regional Transit Board members: Maybe you would like to give me your address so that I could re-deposit this hazardous vile, filth in your yard. (at no cost)This is not at some far obscure location. This is at the 13th street station.( you know, the place where your main offices are)
The bus #6 to Rush River drive was sooooooo rude! I was trying to asked HER ( a white driver) where the bus 47 is, she answered me I cant tell i need to get out from the bus what kind a driver/ person she is?? Sucks!! I will think twice or so beforw i even ride in that bus!!😟
I am on the new train going to CRC college and it is so annoying that on every stop where the driver needs to stop and open the handicap door, he slams the ramp on the floor that it makes everyone jump on the train. Please! Do you need to do that? It is soooooo annoying!

2022-05-23Ive been here as a tourist for the past week, and so far Im not impressed with the buses. Most of the buses have been on time, but twice Ive had to wait an extra half an hour for my bus. The bus stop signs, and the automatic call information are sometimes inaccurate. Some stops look closed because there are no signs. Google maps is not much help, because the information isnt always correct.Im giving three stars because almost all of the drivers have been friendly, and the buses are fairly comfortable.

2022-05-24It unfortunate how although one could make a decent living driving, the company is very toxic and promotes a very low moral work environment. Not good when dealing with a challenging public while driving a bus. They do not support their drivers in most situations. You would think the focus is to keep the buses moving. No! They would rather have a bus parked in the lot verse’s helping the operator who may have been 1 minute late to work or is possibly being met with a hostile passenger and not receiving help because your in the north and no one is able to respond due to sups or the police being in the south. It can be stressful day after day because of all the different issues and the uncaring culture they vibe on.

2022-04-01Wife left her phone on the rideshare bus and the driver took good care of it for her. We did have to wait till the next day as they were closed before we could get there. They were very nice.

2022-04-30All the areas around I-80 East are Filthy, unsanitary, TOYALLY unclean. The Superintendents could have maintenance clean it up, by simply having the CEO workers at Cal-Trans do it. One woman was overheard boasting of the new expensive high dollar chair she had ordered for her office! Yet the buses, train dont get even WIPED down at night! Myself and another placed an item on the bus we ride, TWO days later we rode the same bus in evening it was still there! Masks are required on the airlines. ALL public transportation should have the SAME rule in place. There is HOMELESS people that are DELIBERATELY sneezing and COUGHING that are NOT vaccinated yet positive.

2022-04-22Heres a newsflash for everyone. RT has caught up, and even on some routes, even surpassed SFs MUNI in customer service. Kudos to Henry Li and to a growing group of coach and light rail train operators.

2022-05-11Was waiting for the 25 and it completely drove passed me even with me waving my arms around. This is the second time a bus has drove passed me and left me stranded for the night. Not pleased with the recent services

2022-06-08Everyone who works here is completely worthless on a 24-7 coffee break, almost 100 alerts a day. This is beyond sad, too many lazy employees

2021-10-28I had lost my keys on the bus and I called them to see if they had been turned in and she said no, then about 15 min later they called me and said someone just turned them in. I was so grateful. I hadnt given her my name or number and she I guess looked up the number that I had called from. She went beyond her duty to help me. She really was a sweet person to do that. It had my house key, my gate key and the only key for my storage. Bless her
