I rented during July Fourth weekend 2019, and had a wonderful experience. I had my trailer delivered on time to Mission Bay RV Resort, not only did they deliver, they also came and set-up the motorhome for me. The trailer was furnished with sheets, pillows, sleeping bags, and a furnished trailer with pots, pans, hand towels, soap, mop, broom. I was impressedhow clean and orderly the trailer came. I was shown how to work everything on the trailer and I felt comfortable enough to do everything on my own. After my rental was done they came and picked-up the trailer which included unhooking the sewer and taking it back. Thats the best part because I wanted a RV, but I dont know how to drive one. Ill be using them again next year too. Great Company.
This was our first time renting an RV. Karla and the family were beyond accomodating and knowledgable. They were happy to answer questions or give advice for anything about RVs or the local area. My husband and I (and our pup- dog friendly!!) had an awesome time with the 2015 Forester. We are in the market for our own but until then, we will definitely rent from the Athertons again when the travel bug bites!
We decided last minute to book an Rv rental that would deliver to our campsite at Campland on the bay . We’ve never rented an Rv , but our experience was amazing. Called the day before , they gave me all the info I needed & emailed me easy booking instructions. Patrick met us at check in and were there right on time for pick up. Just NICE people that we are glad to have found online. We will definitely book with them for future rentals. The RV itself was beautiful and perfect for my family of 5. Thanks again !!!
They were amazing to rent an RV from!!! The RV was beautiful and high end. The drop off and pick up service was easy. And the owners and staff are so kind and helpful. I will surely be using them in the future for my travel needs!
We had just returned from a weekend trip and when pulling into our driveway I heard a loud pop, followed by all of the hydraulic fluid from our leveling jacks leaking on to the pavement. I called around to a few mobile rv repair companies listed on Yelp and was told that they didnt work on hydraulic systems. I was very fortunate to reach out to A1. Karla picked up and said that they could help. Patrick arrived at my house later that same day, quickly diagnosed what happened (one of the hoses blew off the jack) and what needed to be done in order to fix. We had a replacement hose fabricated, then Patrick showed up the following day and performed the repair (in the rain, no less).These folks are efficient and seriously fantastic to work with and now I have a go to company for all my RV needs. RV Camping Rental was extremely helpful in my desperate time of need! My family and I had a camping trip planned and paid for when our motorhome broke down and I didn’t know what to do. RV Camping Rental was able to find me a motorhome at an extremely reasonable rate that was perfect for my family!!!! 2022-03-24This was my first RV renting experience and Karla and her family made it very easy. The service was absolutely excellent.I needed an RV for that weekend (only a couple days out) and they were able to set me up with a wonderful motorhome. Then when I got stuck in LA traffic on the day I was to pick it up, they delivered the motorhome to my campsite for me and set it up so I could go straight to bed without a worry. A+++ serviceThe motorhome was even better than I thought it would be. It was clean, functional, and had things like dishes and a coffee maker. Exactly what I needed as a first time renter.

2021-07-14First time renting with this company and wow was I impressed with the service Karla and her team provided. From the initial request for information to the final return inspection, I experienced nothing but great responsiveness, reasonableness and candor.The entire reservation process was easy, electronic and quick. I paid for the reservation via Zelle direct from my bank account, saved a bunch of money on fees that way! Do it!During my entire trip, Karla and Patrick were always available via text or phone call for any questions I had about the RV (mostly of the what does this button do? nature). Pick up and drop off was a piece of cake and they were very honest and reasonable about small variations to the original agreement upon return (ie. small mileage overage waived), returned security deposit immediately on return and made everything stress free.Our kids and especially my daughter and her entire All-Star softball team loved hanging out in the RV between games, out of the summer heat.I will not look anywhere else the next time I need an RV, no need to waste time with any other company, really glad I found such a great, family oriented and professionally run company.Thanks Karla and Patrick!

2021-06-18We had such a great experience with Karla. She was super helpful with everything and very organized. This trip was for my kids to have before I undergo a medical procedure and Karla seriously made it happen. The RV was clean, in working order and above all our standards.We traveled with 7 ppl and a service dog and we all were comfortable. There was enough space for everyone to hang out and keep cool. We went from LA to Arizona and then back.The RV made the trip comfortable and fun. Karla provided all the essentials which made packing a breeze. Karla walked us through everything when we picked up the RV and spent her time explaining everything so nothing was left to question.We definitely hope to have more road trips in our future and will be renting from Karla and her husband! 2021-03-23Hands down the best RV rental experience. We rented the 33’ class a motorhome and it was set up with all the amenities! Camp chairs, table, dishes, all utensils, even a toaster and ice cream scoop! Karla was very responsive and friendly with my many inquiries. The RV was clean, mechanically sound, and well maintained. We had no issues whatsoever. I have heard horror stories from friends renting RV’s but I have I nothing but great things to say about Karla and Patrick. Highly recommended renting from them!

2019-09-19We had such a great experience this past weekend renting a trailer from RV Camping Rental! The trailer was in perfect shape, bigger than what we needed and Karla and Patrick were so amazing! Karla was super personable and she stayed in constant contact with me to answer any questions I had in coordinating the drop off and pick up which was tricky given we were at BayFair for the jet boat races and there were tons of people and trailers there! Patrick did a wonderful job getting the trailer parked properly for us and explained everything I needed to know about how to work all the bells and whistles on it! They even a table and a couple chairs for us to use while we were there! It was truly a wonderful experience renting from them and we will continue to work with them for years to come for our trailer camping needs! I can’t recommend them enough!!! 2020-01-14Carla treat people fairly and with respect, like their family. The RV room we rented was clean and totally functional. It was also equipped with all the basic amenities to make a trip to the desert very enjoyable. We will be doing business with RV camping rental exclusively now because we have found a good one. 2019-08-12First I want to say the price was Right! I rented the 40 ft motorhome with 3 slides. Sleeps up to 6.Very spacious. It was just beautiful. They delivered it on time and set it up. Everything was just Perfect! I would recommend RV CAMPING RENTALS owners are Patrick & Karla. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Give them a call. You will not regret it. Happy Camper, Sindee
