Cool place with tons of potential, the bowling area looked awesome and the arcade has tons of games, unfortunately about 60 to 70% of them were not working and the ones that were, were a bit expensive to play. would consider going back is a cool place to take your kids and have a pretty good time yourself.
Place seems nice but the workers are rude. They refused to not only give me my money back but just switch from bowling to arcade. I purchased two bowling games and wanted to switch to arcade games plus wouldve bought other games and food.Workers are so rude, and according to them there is never any manager on duty. Somehow never available. I have only been here twice and will never go back. Do not recommend. The bowling machines, were not working properly, some of the lanes were down. Id Rather go somewhere else.
This round 1 is ghetto I had traveled an hour out of my way to get there, I had called ahead to ensure that they has the video game that my daughter wanted to play. I didnt think that I had to ask if the machine was operational! I asked to speak to the manager and this person was no help at all. No stall doors for two of the bathroom stalls!
Absolutely one of the best arcades in Moreno Valley if not the only arcade in the area. Its really fun with a multitude of games prizes and amusements for both kids and adults. Right now though (do to short staffing) the bar is closed for most nights. There is bowling, pool table, and even kareoke rooms. It is a bit expensive, but its worth the expenses
I was excited to try out this place for the first time.Unfortunately my experience was less than satisfactory. Definitely a waste of money with more than half of the arcade machines out of service, the place was muggy and hot and the wait times for bowling were about a 2 hr wait when there were plenty of unused lanes available.
My mother in law took my kids to Round 1 today and had a horrible experience. She said hardly any of the machines were working. When she tried to get her money back for the game card purchased they said they are no refunds and offered no help or other options for them. She was so upset. When she spoke to the manager and asked for the corporate number they wouldn’t give her any information. Poor customer service.
This was our first time going to Round1, giving this place a star because I cant give it a 0 and honesty the pizza was probably the only good thing that came out of that kitchen. Our food was cold, one of our orders was skipped and when asked where was our pizza the girl at the register said there was no ticket of our pizza and they were going to start making it. The entire staff at the cash registers and bar at least the 4 females that were there were horrible, they didnt have an approachable attitude, didnt have any kind of customer service. We were in line to order our food, and the first time we stood there for 10 mins waiting for someone to help us, one girl looked me in the eye and walked away, finally another girl came made eye contact with me and when I asked if I can order she said let me see, looked around for someone else to take my order and when she didnt find anyone she was forced to take my order, she didnt seem happy about it at all, in addition to not having a friendly attitude she was talking to the security the entire time I was ordering. Everything we ordered was cold except for the pizza. The second time we went up to order more food, the same girl that took our order was there at the register, when I reached the register to order she walked away! I guess they dont want to sell food? On top of not being helpful or friendly and the food being skipped and cold, there was no ice for the drinks! Hot soda was disgusting. We proceeded to play bowling, we paid for an hour and half, the lane broke down 2xs until they changed us to a different on the 3rd brake down and told us they were going to add some time, they didnt add the time and the new lane broke down 2xs as well. The time was never added and when my husband went to the register to ask for the time the girl with green hair very rudely told him she couldnt add time because there was a waiting list, my husband returned to give us the news and I pointed out to him how was there a wait list when there were 9 LANES OPEN WITHOUT ANYONE PLAYING!? So my husband talked to a male worker that was at the register, he was very helpful, brought the manager and the manager added 20mins. The manager and the 3 male employees that helped us were very helpful and kind. Im sorry but all 4 females that were at the registers need to be trained on how to have good customer service skills, how to treat customers, and how to have a friendly approachable attitude. The negative attitude, poor customer service, the no ice and the foodcbeing cold is what definitely will keep us from going back. The place wasnt packed was pretty empty, and even then the food was cold and no ice.
The worst customer service and management ever. In what world would a customer like to have the news playing in an entire Round1 location? We asked a couple employees if they can change the channel into something light hearted, and they ignored us completely. We were shrugged off. People look for entertainment as a form of escapism, and this location does NOT embody the culture that Round1 is known for.On top of that, they had NO food after 7pm. And the manager we encountered appeared to be all over the place. She over charged us for items we didn’t order. And didn’t receive our soda. When I asked her for our soda she walked away and said that we ordered a pitcher. That wasn’t what I asked, I just wanted the soda that WE purchased. Another employee had to come in and asked us what was missing. The manager NEEDS far more training and development. After my encounter with her, now I can see why this place is the way it is.If you can avoid this location, PLEASE DO.
I came here for my son’s 10th birthday and I received RUDE AND UNTIMELY SERVICES from some girl behind the counter named SGARCIA! I waited 10 minutes for nachos when there wasn’t anyone else before me! She barely placed the nacho near me, I had to reach over the counter to get it! And at second look she added chili to my nachos and when asked for her to change it she rolled her eyes and started to argue that she said to have asked me before if I wanted chili or not! I asked for the manager and he was kind to attempt to make my order over! My son and I will NEVER be back here again!
It was an amazing arcade for the entire family! Theres games for everyone at every age, plus a decent bar and happy hour special to boot! The efficiency of their token and ticket system is comparable to Dave & Busters, only better! The prize selection was perfectly balanced as well. All in all, it made a routine stop at the mall a Saturday to remember.
We went bowling at Round1 on a Thursday evening for the first time. We had a total blast. The place is located inside Moreno Valley Shopping Mall and is conveniently located off Freeway 60. The place is big also offering arcade games, billiards, and darts. Round1 offers fun environment for families and serves pizza, ice cream, chicken wings and beer. Bowling was fun!! We had a dedicated bowling lane, comfy sofa to sit, and a table to put on food & drinks. The overall bowling equipment worked well. We’ll surely return in the future.
I have no idea how this place has 4 stars! First time there with my 5 year old daughter. No bowling and game packages. Bowling 1 game cost me 25$ which is crazy. Paid $44 for a game card that only gave my daughter and i like 14 games than left me with 5 credits I could not use. After an hour we were hungry so tried to order food. They said they only had ice cream? The entire menu was lit up but apparently they ran out of food. Half of the games just ate our credits. Terrible place. Dont waste your money here. Go to Dave and Busters. Much better.
They have temp hours that ARENT updated here on google. i get it youre understaffed but i drove 40 mins to get here and play for ten mind for the whole power to go out? while i was in the middle of a game? using MY credits? if i knew that they closed at this time i wouldnt have even bothered. im posting the photo so other people dont get jipped.
Be prepared to spend good money, the day we went alot of the kiddy friendly games were broken down I mean literally it was more the 8 game machines however am thankful for the manager on site was very polite and friendly I explained to him it was a Sunday night after 8pm I didnt get his name but other than that am not looking forward to coming again I spent 60$ in less than a hour 2 nd beware the claw machines are rigged 12 credits no thanks it really has changed since I been there a few years plus maybe the pandemic but please check the machines.
Lots of games, great for kids, but they dont tell you which games are out of service. Good luck figuring that out yourself. Some games cost more than others. Biggest downside is the claw games. WHAT A RIP OFF. All of the claw games have the prizes weigted down and the claws are too weak to grab the prizes because of this. At least they have beer and food available. Too bad their system went down when my fiance ordered a beer. Didnt bowl. When you redeem tickets, a lot of the toys are only in (I think) Chinese which might be okay if you were familiar with the type of game. I thought it was cool they had so many pool tables. Lets the older kids have some more fun.
Most of the games work and we came out majorly on top with what we came home with but the customer service was absolutely horrible...the people next to us on a coin slot ticket machine had to wait over thirty minutes for help when their machine went down and then kinda got a meh response when they asked about it and I had a very slight grrr event when I asked my ticket count and was told over 6 thousand. So I played more and got just over 2000 more tickets but when the employee scaned my card again we were in the 7400 range.. when I asked about it the guy behind the counter asked me well can you prove it? Like no jerk I dont record every second of my freaking life. But not gonna lie the prizes at this place are brandname at a good value I would only say go to La Puente (might have spelled that wrong) for better customer service.
We had a lot fun. The entire place was busy but not packed. They were well staffed and staff was attentive. We stayed in the arcade portion but will be back to bowl. They also had a lot of pool tables and some private karaoke rooms. Theres a lot to do and it was moderately priced. The best part is my nephew loved it. We will be returning.
The young white girl that was working at the food area had a very nasty attitude, she had gloves on and kept picking her phone from out of her back pocket and then she continued to make a pizza. While she had touched her phone and was messing around with it. Just NASTY , I would rather starve than to have her make any food for me. Its disgusting to have gloves on, touch your phone and make food for someone especially since we have all of these viruses going on. She never not once took the gloves off to wash her hands or anything. This is the only thing that made me give them a 2, everything else was fine. But they definitely need to get rid of their nasty worker that doesnt care about getting people sick. Anytime I walk in there and see her, I will not spend my money I will just leave
Its a bit pricey but kids love arcades.Service is bad. I asked 3 different workers to assist in cleaning off 1 out of 6 tables they have & no one ever came. We had to throw the trash away & clean it ourselves. The bar area advertises all this beer & they only have 4 choices & all on tap. All the workers were so snobby. The arcades were cool but not good enough to come back. Would of had a better time at Shakeys.
Excellent place!! Bowling, games, karaoke, pool, extc!! The tall beers used to be $2.99 & $3.99 (not sure if thats still the case) I used to love to come for the beer. I did go last week however & they didnt seem to have enough workers or anyone for food & beer. Keep that in mind as people slowly (very slow) go back to work. Otherwise awesome spot & do believe its a good place to take a date for younger couples.
Mireya on 2/6/22 around 5pm is extremely unprofessional. She shut the place down for 3 hours because she was short on workers when you had 10 employees standing around. She got mad at one of the workers for helping a customer, because he had nothing to do and wanted to help, but she wanted them to stand around because they were short staffed.
This place stinks. I ordered chicken tenders and they were more like chicken nuggets. Took forever to come out and were very dry. Asked for a coke and was watery then ordered a raspberry iced tea and was also watery. I just gave up on the drinks. Not to mention that half of the games are off or broken. Its criminal for the broken games to still be on. Then 90% of the games that work are rigged claw games. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Its average. The staff is normal. They dont really smile or go out of their way to help you so I cant say they are amazing (I interacted with several staff members). The amount of games/machines that are out of order are about the same in number as all other similar places like Dave and Busters. The cleanliness is also about the same as all other similar places that I have visited.Note: to get the most for your $, buy credits with an actual attendant instead of the kiosk because you get more credits for some reason.
Pretty fun still better than the Temecula branch, but that is not too difficult to beat. Games are at least not emulated and some cabinets are a bit dingy but that usually comes with age. The drum game is a bit finicky but you can still have a good time with friends if you have the cash. 40 bucks seems to be the good all round day burner.
So August 24, 2021 took brother and his family to round 1 in moreno valley. My boys and I have been there several times before but this was my brother and his familys first time. Food experience, always tasty but ridiculously long wait time 30-45 minute plu. A little pricey but worth it if family has a good time. This time, 7pm paid $125. for (8) people to bowl, (2) lanes...horrible experience, 1 hour later made it to frame 4 after 3rd visit from the mechanic(lol) each visit took about 10-15 minutes. Spoke with manager, extremely unhelpful, very obvious she could care less, due to protocol there was nothing she could do but change lanes. Ok new lanes, after balls got stuck 15 minutes after changing lanes I was over it but walking away meant throwing $50-70 down the drain 😔. But nobody was having fun so we moved on. Children wanted to play games at the arcade another $229. (4) game cards...about 15% of games were not working. Attendants seemed so bothered. Difinately wont be returning to this unfriendly inadequate family fun center...😕
This was my first time here. They should be more specific on the waiting list for bowling. I waited a whole hour that said we’ll be with your party shortly. And I thought I was going to receive another message saying that I can come to the counter. I had been waiting a whole hour and then I find out that The message that said will be with you shortly only gave me 10 minute grace. I didn’t know that so they gave my spot to somebody else. I don’t appreciate that they don’t explain it and try to accommodate in anyway will not be coming here again.
They need more workers. The wait time for food is too long, its cold by the time you get it, and it costs too much for it to have those issues. A lot of the games my toddler wanted to play were out of order as well which was unfortunate. Maybe Ill update my review again post covid. 🤷🏾♀️
I love round one but one time we won a plush in the crane. It was so big it couldnt fit the whole to drop. We got an employee to help but they told us that they cant do anything. We spend almost $30 to press down the plushy down the hole. If see a plushie bigger then a hole dont play.
A really fun place for kids and adults. There is an adult section to hangout meanwhile theyre kids run around and play games. The only thing that sucked were the prizes. All the prizes were bad and the good ones you needed a lot of tickets even though it wasnt worth it. There is bowling, karaoke for the kids and pool for the adults. There is also a bar for them. Sometimes crowded but not too much.
This is a very fun place to have a good time. Its on the second floor of the mall and offers arcade games, karaoke, pool table, and bowling. They arent really serving food right now due to lack of workers and COVID-19 but I would definitely recommend this place for some fun in MoVal!
Had fun here. They have cool video games. Haven’t had a chance to bowl but the arcade games were good. The selection was good. They had games for little kids and competitive gamers alike. Good place to take the family and a good place to go with the boys! Can’t wait to try the bowling and food.
Took the kids to get out of the house. They had a pretty good selection of games, but, customer service wasnt that great. Not all associates, but, a couple that helped us, werent very friendly. I felt like I annoyed them when I asked for help. We generally like bowling and the arcade is a nice touch. I may go back again.
They change up the stuff animals every so often. Some games are broken (red light) but still plenty of others to play. Hard to tell when they serve beer or when they close the food. Since the games are open until 12 a.m. (depending on the day of the week) hard to tell when they stop serving.
Awesome place! From bowling and billiards to arcade games and karaoke this place has a ton of stuff to choose from to have a great time. They have a decent selection of food choices like pizza, chicken wings and nachos etc. as well as a bar that serves beer and wine. They have TVs all over the place so you won’t miss a minute of the game while you bowl, shoot pool or play in the arcade. Overall a great place to have a good time, a few beers or few games. 4 stars because the staff is always as friendly as you would hope.
Came in today for the first time and purchased a $20.00 game card. We played at most 10 mins when we realized we had no credits left this place is a rip off. I was only able to get a few measly bags of candy with the tickets we won. NEVER again will i come here again , your better off buying your child candy and a toy elsewhere instead of throwing your money away. I do NOT recommend this place at all.
Great place for kids and adults. Sorest karaoke group rooms, pool tables and great service. However the buffalo wings were regular wings top covered with buffalo sauce and bottom was regular dry wings. Also regular wings were hard cooked and dry. Maybe just a busy day, but great place in general and loved ALL the pizza.
This place is a whole lot of fun. There are so many games here to play between wack-a-clown to pool tables to a bowling alley. They also have air hockey but wasnt working when I went. If you need refreshments, they have a snack bar and bar where they serve beer and wine. Note that this places does get pretty hot inside.
With 20 dollars I really only able to play 5 days due to the machines needing more than 8 credits. Some employees were nice and had good customer service but others would get bothered with my questions, I mean come on it was my first time there of course im going to have questions. But bowling was fine and amazing!
Round 1 is the premier place to go get drunk bowling/singing with friends. Cheap alcohol, alright prices for food, fun setups for bowling, and one dollar ice cream. Its pretty rad. I personally go there for the arcade dance machines as theyre pretty fun, but the arcades here are pretty extensive and can cater to just about everyone.I definitely recommend anyone to go try it with some friends at least once, as Im sure youre bound to have a good time.
The kids love coming here to play the arcade games and winning tickets. The hour pass is plenty of time to run around and get your energy out. And it’s decent priced too! If you’re trying to win tickets then you’ll need to purchase a pass with points, not timed. That pass can be a bit pricy but for me it’s worth the price for a few hours of family fun.
Came here for a night of Karaoke and arcade games. The karaoke equipment is very old and in bad condition. The room for singing was on the smaller side and not clean. Our room even had a few holes in the walls. After karaoke we tried to play a few games. Unfortunately, all the games we wished to play were out of service. The ones that even mildly worked cost quite a bit of credits. We played only 5-6 games for our 20 dollars of credits. Save your money and time. This place is dirty, cheap, and not worth spending a penny on.
Love this place. Definitely a good place to hang out with your significant other or a few close friends. This is a family-friendly place that also sells alcohol and food. The lighting is nice and the facility is always clean. In order to play arcade games you have to add money to a refillable card that also holds all your digitally earned tickets that are redeemable for prizes.
Large game area with games ranging from all ages. In addition, they have pool tables, ping-pong tables, several karaoke room, a full bar and snack bar with amusement park food. The bowling alley is about ten lanes wide and they have a good range of bowling balls from 6-16 pounds. There shoe rental is efficient and you can drop them in a drop box when your done. Great for families and large groups and well as fun dates.
I mean, its fun but the employees act like they dont want to work there. Our little cousin went to get a water and he said after she was done giving someone ice cream, he grabbed his water without bothering to wipe the ice cream off of it. They also have sloowww service. At the counter, we paid for bowling and asked if they provided socks and they said yes. We paid and was just given a receipt and they pointed where the shoes were. Grabbed our shoes, but didnt see socks. We grabbed someone, the same girl, and she told us we buy them at the counter. Went back to the counter waiting for someone to give us their time. Just ridiculously slow. The bowling is fun, the games are fun and some new. Games from Japan, which I love. We dont go here often, but its just a fun little place to go once in awhile.
First time there was a great experience! Pretty fun games to play. Good ideal place where you would take a date or just go to hang out with a couple friends. Didnt see much families with theyre kids but then again I was there like around 12am lol. Anyways, overall fun place to visit! Just hate how fast the points on your game card disappear and that you have to pay to play billiards. Other than that, pretty cool place!
Do not go on a Friday night. Place is packed due to their incredibly tight floor space. They have the most up to date machines, and definitely better karaoke rooms, but no reason to stop by if theres a 2 hour wait on everything. Will probably only revisit in the daytime.
Great place located in the Moreno Valley mall. I visited around noon and there was a decent amount of people. Not to much so I could easily try out all the arcade games with no waiting. The ticket redemption store offers a variety of items, from cheap to expensive. The staff was nice and help when ever I needed. Ill be visiting Round 1 again, would recommend to familys looking to spend time together without breaking the bank.
The prices are not great and the only way to reserve an Kareoke room is to get the All inclusive pass thats $25 a person. The rooms only allow 6 people or there is a big room. Arcade seems to have a ton of games but pretty pricey. Bowling was pretty good with automatic bumpers for specific players!
A great entertainment place. Some kids games, but mostly redemption games, claw games, some light gun & driving games, and being a Japan based chain, they get a lot of exclusive machines including a wide array of rhythm games, fighting game cabinets, and others. Outside of the arcade games, you can pay reasonable rates for bowling, ping pong, billiards, or karaoke and order some simple food or drinks while there. They have an age cutoff later in the night for those who wish to party there, and its certainly not a bad place to so so.
Fun place to kill some time. They have arcades, bowling, and billiards. Lots arcade games and game simulators to choose from. They have a card program that you can relax and save your winning game tickets on. They offer different payment for amount of gaming you want to do. They also have a decent snack bar. You can order beer if you are of age as well.
I typically have a fun time coming here with my friends. The 2.00 beers arent too bad either. We generally spend time playing either the racing games or crane machines. I won 2 plushes my last visit. The karaoke isnt too bad either, the song selection is pretty alright.
We love going here; sometimes family day , sometimes date night. Its an Arcade so yeah super fun stuff, Always excellent customer service and help!! They have the $1.99 beer or glass of wine to take the edge off from the day 😂😂🍯🍯. Also they have the cutest photo booths!! We love R1 👏👏👌👌👍👍🙌🙌🙏🙏💯💯🙋🙋✔✔
I like this place because all ages can play games. The tickets are stored automatically on the card you use to play a game. I didnt like how I was told I couldnt use debit card only charge card although I had both debit/credit options on the card. WEird! They said they could get fined for accepting the card then accepted it anyways by overwriting system. So why change my energy and tell me that if they are not going to follow the rules??? #positiveenergyonly #letyourYesbeYesandyourNomeanNo #qualitycustomerservice
Decided to give this alley a try since we are new to the area and are searching for a new spot to go bowling regularly. The price was reasonable but we were frustrated because the lane we were assigned had dirty plates and food from the last bowling party that used that lane, we assumed someone would come clean it up but after 4 hours no one ever cleaned up the tables, our balls got jammed 4 times and it took them awhile to get them out, and the most annoying was that although they had alot of open lanes they put a family in the lane right next to us and they had no knowledge of bowling etiquette, they would bowl at the same time we would and kept throwing us off(I know the lack of etiquette is not the alleys fault but they didnt need to put them so close to us in the first place) so basically it was a huge annoyance! They also advertise a moonlight bowling every hour to try and win a prize for getting a strike, however we were there 4 hours and never saw anything like what was advertised. The prices on drinks and food seemed reasonable as well, we only purchased a few sodas but the price were better an we expected and refills were only $1. We will probably return and try again, hopefully next time the place will be cleaner and theyll figure out spacing by then.
Great location! Open late and great game selection. From bowling to billiards to games exclusive to Japan this place has it all and brings back the days of your local arcade. The only negatives are the wide jump in ticket prizes. Some games you play for 20 minutes and get a maximum of 10 tickets while others you press one button and consistently win 500 tickets in seconds. It feels like the more boring games are your only real option if you have your eyes on a specific prize in the prize booth. On the topic of the prize booth, its kinda small. There are really cool Japanese prizes but there is also a lot of cheap dollar store items for the same range of tickets. Overall it is a great place with a few quirks. Staff is incredibly helpful and kind with a real knowledge of the games at their location. Bring your friends and family to round one and you will not regret it. I now go once a week with my coworkers after work every week.
Great atmosphere but the staff is very reluctant to helping out or assisting when ever there is a issue with anything ... The bowling lanes always mess up and stop working there is a timer to how long you can bowl and the timer keeps going while you are waiting for assistance from the workers that are reluctant to listen.
If I could give them zero stars I would. A local special ed class planned a trip there for today after calling Monday to confirm the price. After showing up, they were informed the price had increased. Management would not budge. The class had to load back on the bus and go back without bowling. Shameful! I will never patronize Round 1 ever again.
Employee who was posted at the station where cards can be bought legit did not seem like he wanted to work there. I was told credit card machine was not working but luckily I had cash so that was a good thing. Definitely will not be coming back if that’s the type of environment employees set.
Really cool gaming arcade place. Great for kids parties, or just a few hours of family fun, or out with friends. Plenty to do, but must have a lot of money... lol. Swipe cards dont tell you of the remaining balance when swipped. Items to choose from should be cheaper tickets. But still a cool fun place
Plan ahead! Call and make reservations! There was a 2 hour wait for bowling. I had never gone on a Friday night before, but Ive learned better. They had a wait for everything, karaoke, pool, ping pong, but everything was fun. The bright side is that theres a lot to do at Round 1. My favorite is the photo booth. It has a lot of options to customize the photos with edits, frames, and stickers. They also have fun dancing games and other arcade games, just dont expect to receive any tickets. The machines run out of them very quickly and sidenote, the bathrooms are unkept. Go with an open mind, time to wait, and an open wallet.
Best arcade games Ive ever seen! There is nothing like this place in my hometown and coming here was a big treat! I loved playing TWD GAME with my boyfriend, and having him all excited over my head shots.. lol the other games are fun too! The ticket games are hard too rack up tickets, the prizes are way too crazy in tickets count too even get a good price. Except too spend $100 too get a good amount of tickets.. the place is awesome and fun though, so tickets gathering wasnt a big deal for me.. maybe for the kids it might be..
This is such an awesome place to hangout. Youve got the arcade, with a wide variety of games, the bar, they serve food, theyve got bowling, pool, and karaoke. Theyre open late. I mean if youre anywhere near here and youre looking for a place to hangout this place is a must try
The man at the register told us it was a 3 1/2 hr wait before the next lane opened up,so he asked if we wanted to be on the waiting list so we did. He told us theyd send us a text to let us know when it would be ready for us. So mind you, we decided to stick around and play some of the arcade games theyve got which was the 1 star I gave those were fun. But then we decided to go out of the mall to grab something to eat. Whilst we were searching for a place we got the text letting us know that it was ready for us, which took us about 10 min. After arriving we noticed a long line to have security check age restrictions, that took 10 min. Once we got in we stood in another line for roughly 8-10 min. Once we got to the register we let the lady know we were on the waiting list for a bowling lane and that they had texted us that it was ready. All of this for 3 1/2 hrs for her to tell us that they only reserve it for 10 min after the text is sent, WITHOUT LETTING US KNOW FROM THE GET GO. As you can imagine I was furious. She did not try to whatsoever accommodate their mistake of not informing us. All she said was I can put you back on the waiting list. There were tons more people there and we were not about to wait another 2-3 hrs. Worst customer service and experience ever. You need to make sure to let your customers know the rules for future reference. Or attach it in the text you send.
Extremelyyyyy overpriced and the bowling is very misleading.$18.00 for the cheapest day of the week/time for two people to bowl one game! Rude/ unhelpful management and staff. Been there more than once, and the staff is ALWAYS RUDE. Games are fun, but most of them are constantly broken down or taking coins from you. Annoying.
The quality of this place has gotten better over the years, but the prices keep going up and you cant get much for your tokens, actually you get next to nothing for your tokens when you try to trade for something in the gift shop and yet the tokens are extremely hard to accumulate, I havent calculated the cost ratio, Im sure it depends on the item, but its outrageous and far exceeds the price of the item if you paid cash instead of tokens. :-( Im sure if they made it easier to acquire tokens their business would get a nice boost
If you want to recharge your card here its at least a 15 minute wait even if your first in line. Im not joking.Everyone is disrespectful every time I come here. I come to this place ALOT. I see them talk to each other fine but when ever I witness them interact with a customer there monotone and indifferent like they got better things to do. There best prized machines are always down and they hardly cycle out. Prize prices are way to expensive. The prices on prizes are inaccurately labeled all the time. Ive never eaten here.(not sure Id want to with these guys work ethic) and there happy hour drinks are mostly out all the time. Save money on the staff and buy more beer. Ill be driving the extra distance to Puente hills to use my club card.
Do not bowl here. For one, extremely over priced. Me and a few people came here for my cousins 21st bday. Huge mistake. The line we were put on kept freezing and messing up. We had to press the restart button at least 4 times and it kept messing up our game. Then when we told staff, they advised the only thing they could do was move us to a different lane. When we did, that lane was messing up too. We asked for our money back for at least one of the games we paid for and they refused and said they can just have us move lanes again. Waste of time and waste of money. Horrible customer service. Even their arcade games are messed up and it takes more time to hunt any of the staff down to inform then it does actually enjoying your time here. Huge thumbs down👎👎
Tip : reserve bowling lanes priorThe customer service sucked. The duration to get our food was ridiculous. We ordered pizza and mozzarella sticks. The pizza was alright but very greasy. The mozzarella sticks were horrendous it was as if they got a frozen string cheese and deep fried it (cheese was not melted).
In general this round 1 is really nice. The machines however get run down pretty quick and it doesnt seem like they test their machines for repairs often. Sdvx for instance has knobs that have slowly but surely become less useable. Some games have been straight out broken for a while. The staff is friendly though and you will get good bartenders if youre interested in that sort of thing.
I was really disapointed the food was horrible compared to the one from Round one in Santa Ana. The fries where super salty and the buffalo wings were way too crispy they probably didnt change the oil since who knows when. Also the air hockey table I love was not even in service so that was the worst part.

2022-04-27This is only my second time here for the bowling.the first time i was here, i had NO issues at all.staff was polite in regards to any issues, and i hada great time! i am currently writing about this badreview while waiting for my lane to turn back onfor the 10th time in 1 hour. i was given one lane that didnt work and the staff member who i spoke with seemed to be annoyed by my concerns for my lane. i was switched to a different lane thatREGULARLY turns off and continuously gets worked on by a staff member. i couldnt even bowl for 10 straight minutes without the lane turning off and being worked on without my knowledge. i lost 30 minutes worth of the time that i paid for to get beyond annoyed. i didnt even get to finish all of my time. my temper was so high, i had to walk away early. there was trash everywhere from the party before us and there was a drunk guy passed out on my designated lanes couch. people were in my lane space and running around like children. and then, when you want to go play the arcade games, 75% of them dont work. walk around and see how many red card readers you see. overall, a bad experience and i wouldnt recommend this to anyone.to explain the pictures, i was in lane 7. you’ll see how much time was left on my lane when it got turned off (35 minutes, then 20 minutes, then 10 minutes). and the last picture is the trash that was left from the previous party. :)

2022-05-04I have to say Round one has the best price bowling in town if you have your own gear I took advantage of the unlimited games for 17.50 per person as I bowled alone and it was a pleasure to have the lanes to myself I actually had my highest game of 195I will say their racks are not the truest in town and I did find it hard to strike at first but overall it was a great afternoon ....if you want to get some practice I recommend it I got in there about 5:30 it was wide open

2022-03-29I gave this place 2 stars when I reviewed 3 years ago. This time Im giving it only 1 star. It was pretty terrible. It was not this bad the last time I went. Food stopped serving at 8. But of course the beer and alcohol was served all night long. Bathroom doors strait broken off. My husband and I did pay for the time play and not credits. The sign said time play was good for racing games, pacman, shooting, etc. Like only 4-5 categories. But most of the games on time play were broken. I mean almost all of them. We played about 5 different games and the rest that were on time play were broken. I was not about to pay for credits. But it felt like a scam, that a majority of time play games were broken almost forcing you to spend more and buy credits if you really wanted to have a good time.

2022-05-27Lots to do... decent food... tons of games... pool... karaoke... bowling. Its an awesome time. Its located in the mall and can seem a bit dated. However its a fun time every time. The regular staff is not overly friendly but the managers seem to be awesome.

2021-10-22Fun in the sun of California..Sea world has daily shows a lot of walking and good food/drink. Plenty of rides to have fun on but close by 7pm and park closes a hour later.Even the souvenir shops had long lines, people were buying lots of memorabilia..

2022-02-14Round 1 is hands down, the best local source of entertainment. Whether you want a real-life Yakuza experience with endless claw machines and prizes, or youre just nostalgic like me and enjoy going into a time capsule to a time when stand-alone arcades still existed. My only real qualm with this specific location is that they dont have DDR! Ive tried various similar knock-offs, but the original Dance Dance Revolution set up you could find at your local arcades is irreplaceable.Personally, I can recall an era pre online gaming, and it involved having to physically meet up with your friends to battle your favorite games together. This is a sad reality kids these days will never know the pleasure of because we live in a time when all we have to do is push a button and were partied up with our best buds on a quest to save the world from monsters or ylsuited up for war in some clandestine future prepared to bring justice upon a fallen world.I am in no way l knocking the future of gaming, as I also enjoy partaking in such pastimes (even though its made me incredibly lazy). I just feel sadness for our future generations who will never know the excitement and anticipation that came with meeting up (in person) on Friday nights at the local arcade to mindlessly enjoy technology together and its entertaining advances.Round 1 is reminiscent of such a time, and Im grateful that a place like this still exists. And if arcade games arent your thing, theres still the option to bowl, play pool, or even rent out your own karaoke room! Thats a huge step toward the future, in and of itself. Any true karaoke fan knows the struggle of finding any public place within a 10-mile radius where were able to scream out lungs out into a mic without having the entire bar judging us.Hawaii Blues in Colton offered this type of fun, 10 years ago or so, but I had not been able to find anything similar since they closed. My late night karaoke itch could only be scratched by driving 60 miles west to Koreatown in a desperate attempt to find entertainment.Sure, you can find dozens of karaoke bars littered near downtown LA in the infamous Koreatown, often over priced and a little difficult to navigate due to the language barrier, but it will suffice if its your cup of tea. Store bought karaoke machines are always a fun addition to any party, but the limit on available songs makes for pretty dull and repetitive entertainment. Theres just something about getting your own private space to make a fool out of yourself; it just hits different than and far exceeds any home karaoke set up.Without a doubt, Round 1 is an absolute gem, a diamond in the rough. No matter what youre into, youll always find easy access to fun, whether youre with a small group of friends , on a date, or celebrating a birthday! I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Ive never regretted the time and money spent at Round 1!

2022-06-23Me and my girlfriend used to go here. The last time we went was about a year ago or so and it USED to be great. After going tonight we saw that at least half of all of the arcade games were not working. The ones that were working weren’t very fun and clearly rigged with low payout rates. There has obviously been either a change in management or ideas because all the machines have been rearranged or removed from the play area. The old setup was a lot better and more organized. There is a section (not in the back but on one of the sides of the arcade) where there is just a machine graveyard of completely turned off games tucked into a corner. Another new feature is when you check your card to see how many credits you have to play it doesn’t show you credits but rather the “cash value” so get ready to convert the money to credits yourself with your handy calculator and math skills. The prices have understandably gone up but with the prizes you get for what you pay it’s certainly not worth it even for an arcade’s standards. All around this place has seriously gone downhill. It’s a shame we used to love this place.

2022-06-08Went here for a date , it was fun but a lot of the rides were down or hard to get started. The workers were friendly and the games that did work were super fun. I suggest coming here more for their bowling than the arcade at least until their machines are up in running again.
