This is only my second time here for the bowling.the first time i was here, i had NO issues at all.staff was polite in regards to any issues, and i hada great time! i am currently writing about this badreview while waiting for my lane to turn back onfor the 10th time in 1 hour. i was given one lane that didnt work and the staff member who i spoke with seemed to be annoyed by my concerns for my lane. i was switched to a different lane thatREGULARLY turns off and continuously gets worked on by a staff member. i couldnt even bowl for 10 straight minutes without the lane turning off and being worked on without my knowledge. i lost 30 minutes worth of the time that i paid for to get beyond annoyed. i didnt even get to finish all of my time. my temper was so high, i had to walk away early. there was trash everywhere from the party before us and there was a drunk guy passed out on my designated lanes couch. people were in my lane space and running around like children. and then, when you want to go play the arcade games, 75% of them dont work. walk around and see how many red card readers you see. overall, a bad experience and i wouldnt recommend this to anyone.to explain the pictures, i was in lane 7. you’ll see how much time was left on my lane when it got turned off (35 minutes, then 20 minutes, then 10 minutes). and the last picture is the trash that was left from the previous party. :)

I have to say Round one has the best price bowling in town if you have your own gear I took advantage of the unlimited games for 17.50 per person as I bowled alone and it was a pleasure to have the lanes to myself I actually had my highest game of 195I will say their racks are not the truest in town and I did find it hard to strike at first but overall it was a great afternoon ....if you want to get some practice I recommend it I got in there about 5:30 it was wide open

I gave this place 2 stars when I reviewed 3 years ago. This time Im giving it only 1 star. It was pretty terrible. It was not this bad the last time I went. Food stopped serving at 8. But of course the beer and alcohol was served all night long. Bathroom doors strait broken off. My husband and I did pay for the time play and not credits. The sign said time play was good for racing games, pacman, shooting, etc. Like only 4-5 categories. But most of the games on time play were broken. I mean almost all of them. We played about 5 different games and the rest that were on time play were broken. I was not about to pay for credits. But it felt like a scam, that a majority of time play games were broken almost forcing you to spend more and buy credits if you really wanted to have a good time.

Lots to do... decent food... tons of games... pool... karaoke... bowling. Its an awesome time. Its located in the mall and can seem a bit dated. However its a fun time every time. The regular staff is not overly friendly but the managers seem to be awesome.

Fun in the sun of California..Sea world has daily shows a lot of walking and good food/drink. Plenty of rides to have fun on but close by 7pm and park closes a hour later.Even the souvenir shops had long lines, people were buying lots of memorabilia..

Round 1 is hands down, the best local source of entertainment. Whether you want a real-life Yakuza experience with endless claw machines and prizes, or youre just nostalgic like me and enjoy going into a time capsule to a time when stand-alone arcades still existed. My only real qualm with this specific location is that they dont have DDR! Ive tried various similar knock-offs, but the original Dance Dance Revolution set up you could find at your local arcades is irreplaceable.Personally, I can recall an era pre online gaming, and it involved having to physically meet up with your friends to battle your favorite games together. This is a sad reality kids these days will never know the pleasure of because we live in a time when all we have to do is push a button and were partied up with our best buds on a quest to save the world from monsters or ylsuited up for war in some clandestine future prepared to bring justice upon a fallen world.I am in no way l knocking the future of gaming, as I also enjoy partaking in such pastimes (even though its made me incredibly lazy). I just feel sadness for our future generations who will never know the excitement and anticipation that came with meeting up (in person) on Friday nights at the local arcade to mindlessly enjoy technology together and its entertaining advances.Round 1 is reminiscent of such a time, and Im grateful that a place like this still exists. And if arcade games arent your thing, theres still the option to bowl, play pool, or even rent out your own karaoke room! Thats a huge step toward the future, in and of itself. Any true karaoke fan knows the struggle of finding any public place within a 10-mile radius where were able to scream out lungs out into a mic without having the entire bar judging us.Hawaii Blues in Colton offered this type of fun, 10 years ago or so, but I had not been able to find anything similar since they closed. My late night karaoke itch could only be scratched by driving 60 miles west to Koreatown in a desperate attempt to find entertainment.Sure, you can find dozens of karaoke bars littered near downtown LA in the infamous Koreatown, often over priced and a little difficult to navigate due to the language barrier, but it will suffice if its your cup of tea. Store bought karaoke machines are always a fun addition to any party, but the limit on available songs makes for pretty dull and repetitive entertainment. Theres just something about getting your own private space to make a fool out of yourself; it just hits different than and far exceeds any home karaoke set up.Without a doubt, Round 1 is an absolute gem, a diamond in the rough. No matter what youre into, youll always find easy access to fun, whether youre with a small group of friends , on a date, or celebrating a birthday! I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Ive never regretted the time and money spent at Round 1!

Me and my girlfriend used to go here. The last time we went was about a year ago or so and it USED to be great. After going tonight we saw that at least half of all of the arcade games were not working. The ones that were working weren’t very fun and clearly rigged with low payout rates. There has obviously been either a change in management or ideas because all the machines have been rearranged or removed from the play area. The old setup was a lot better and more organized. There is a section (not in the back but on one of the sides of the arcade) where there is just a machine graveyard of completely turned off games tucked into a corner. Another new feature is when you check your card to see how many credits you have to play it doesn’t show you credits but rather the “cash value” so get ready to convert the money to credits yourself with your handy calculator and math skills. The prices have understandably gone up but with the prizes you get for what you pay it’s certainly not worth it even for an arcade’s standards. All around this place has seriously gone downhill. It’s a shame we used to love this place.

Went here for a date , it was fun but a lot of the rides were down or hard to get started. The workers were friendly and the games that did work were super fun. I suggest coming here more for their bowling than the arcade at least until their machines are up in running again.
