I have tried over and over to shop at Ross. I GIVE UP!No matter which location I go to, I find the same lack of management, service, and caring.IF you think saving a few $$ is worth standing in line behind 80 people or so when you only have ONE register available, and the manager isnt even available, you certainly can keep your merchandise.
Not bad. Everyone practicing social distancing. The store had several employees cleaning and making sure everything was done properly to CDC standards. No one was rude or impatient. Everyone was polite to each other. Overall good pleasant experience. Seems Ross, like Dennys, have redesigned their brand and made all the necessary adjustments to fit todays society. And if Ross corporation want to know who I am, I came in and bought 1 bottle of colgne and a bottle of perfume for my friend. And I asked the security to hold them at the front so no one try and accuse the black guy of doing anything wrong. When it was our turn at the register, the security officers politely gave me back the items to purchase with no hassle and no problems. And honestly thats how it should be done during these times. And the employee that checked us out was super respectful and did her job to the best of her capabilities and standards.Thank you for not making me feel like a criminal when I walked into your establishment. Thank you. I wish more stores and places would respect people like you guys do. Thanks again. Probably the only time in last 7 years Ive felt comfy inside a store because Im being gangstalked.
The white lady with short hair on 2/21/2021 was really rude, very poor customer service. My mom was paying she had a lot of items she bought I decided to help the cashier person by taking off the hangers. That lady 👩 with short hair walked by I asked if I could give her the hangers she made a rude face and then proceeded to be rude and state next time we need to take off the hangers while in line before we get to the cashier, remove them ourselves and put them away ourselves. This is very rude we thought we were being helpful with the other cashier by helping make their job easier. We have always had a pleasant experience until today. This lady needs customer service training
I loved this store. I never really shopped here growing up but I went a few months ago as an adult & I loved it. The selection was awesome. Everything you could think of at really great prices. I just wish that they couldve had more stuff in my size but it was still cool. Ill definitely be doing more shopping there!
Hardly found what I needed. Most of all, it was extremely crowded! The line to pay should be outside! Make a sistem please! This season we plan to do our shopping at stores where there is more control as far as how many people they let in at the same time. Please take care everybody.
The cashier with short black hair was horrible today! I bought a small Tommy Hillfiger desk. A small one. The price was tied and connected to the table. The cashier stood there staring at me. As i was holding up this heavy item waiting for her to scan it. She paused and said wait. And walked around away from her cashier to come and make sure i didnt place that price on myself. I found her very ROOD! She said some comment about the brand being Tommy Hillfiger and double checked the price. Which was on the strong string tag and another under table. It just annoyed me.Plus her customer service skills were horrible. She didnt greet me.I was the customer. I should have been first priority.ROOD SERVICE TODAY.
A decent store with a pretty good selection of products, good prices, but the store was kind of a mess. Products everywhere, hangars on the floor, etc. There were annoying security alarms going off constantly while I was in the store. Overall not a very pleasant experience, I probably wont be back.
Veterans day. Inside the store, there was too many people. I shopped for 15 mins and was in line for 39 mins. 4 Registers open was not enough. An employee was needed in the line to account for social distancing, and counting people coming in the store. While shopping It was warm, I sneeze when there is dust. There was major dust. I like Ross, but I need pandemic guidelines to be upheld.
Place is overstocked cant even slide shirts to look through them. They sometimes have some treasures but this place is mobbed. I normally look at the line and just dont even want to buy anything cause waiting in that line sucks. Nice security guard tho says hi and very friendly
Dont be fooled by its name, dress for less, they sell almost everything from household, accessories, frames to bedding and the price is very affordable. The only negative thing is they dont have many stock for the same item, the rest are positives. You wont regret visiting this store
If I could give this store and business a minus score, I sure would. I purchased runners on 5/31/19, since I have bought similar footware from this store and other Ross stores to these, why would I think I’d need to retain the receipt? 26 days later I discover the shoes are splitting on the outer edges in the same place on both shoes. I go back to the store where I purchased these only to be told, unless I had the labels or the receipt, there was nothing they could do. Their “system” is so old according to the associate that they can not look up the receipt from my card. This is absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I work in retail and the customer is always right. My shoes have been worn less than 15 times. I’m not heavy on shoes either. Previous similar type (of the same make) have lasted me 6 to 9 months.I have spent my last cent in this or any Ross store, their lose.I encourage any reader to remember the old saying, “buyer be ware”. Ross will not look after you, once they have taken your money.
Your definitely starting to see th Christmas shopping rush or at least I did at Ross. The store was full of people. I found some pretty good kitchen supplies on sale for my sister and a cool watch on sale for my brother. I was able to get two gifts out of the way for less then $100.
The customer service here was golden, everyone was helpful, cheerful, and ready to help.Jose the manager was very happy to help us, making sure we were able to get what we needed. We are both disabled, and he and the kind LP officer (didnt catch his name) went above and beyond to assist us with our furniture purchase. The counter peoplr were awesome too! This is definitely going to be the Ross we go to from now on.
Raquel who is the manager at this store gave me the worst experiences with shopping at Ross. i dont know if it is because of my wifes Islamic Dress or what, but she refused to accept our return of a dish one day and today she refused to exchange a short sleeve shirt we bought 15 days ago with tags, but she said the tag says short sleeve but this is a dress. i tried to make her understand that i removed the tag myself last night and put it back in there but she said she wouldn’t accept it, with a Terrible attitude. i never want to see her FACE again.
I worked for this store earlier this year and it was a complete chaotic nightmare. The management at this location is downright unprofessional. You have the actual store manager who is a complete nutcase. He is slow, demanding, and rude. He has his minions, which are the two assistant managers. One of them was pretty kind and did her best to help out in any way she could. The other one, however, was something else. Nobody at the store liked her and even though I was there for a couple months, all the employees were able to relate and bond on the fact that she was a complete B! You could just tell this woman was miserable in her own personal life and took it out on the employees. That woman was rude and acted like she was above us when shes simply an assistant store manager at a ghetto Ross at her old age. Now, the store and its clientele were atrocious. We were consistently understaffed and management did nothing to help out. There were rude, ghetto customers. Often times, I glanced over at customer service and the girls would take back any type of merchandise. People would return used clothing and they would be put back on the floor to resell. So, if I was a customer at this store, I would double check every item before purchasing it. Do your purchases at another location, not this one.
The cashier lines are too long & Ross needs to employ more workers. I like shopping there for myself & family because prices are reasonable as well as carrying designer clothing all the time. I hope the 10% discount for seniors would be honored every day but not on Tuesdays only.
Overall a good Ross comparable to other Ross stores. They have the same type of selection and prices as all other Rosses as well. The store was clean and organized and I did not see what I call the tornado affect in the clothes section with stuff all over the ground. Parking is good as it is a large open lot.
Had a terrible experience shopping here. Im currently in a line thats halfway to the back of the store after spending over an hour searching through clothes that arent properly organized by size. A few items were dirty and covered in dust as if they were on the floor. The whole store is messy, dirty, and disorganized. The mens section is so small and limited; the entirety of mens pants consists of two small aisles of the same stuff. Avoid.
Just a thought it will help if they open more registers they have so many people on the weekends this place is packed and they should hire more people the waiting is just crazy the line was all the way to the dressing room and not moving almost an hour an so to pay insane please do something
I came in to purchase a gray chair that had been on clearance for over a week. The tag had been removed when I came back to purchase it. I asked an associate to confirm the price and mentioned that a week ago, the price tag showed it for $114.99. However, prior to talking to an associate, I had to wait over 7minutes for someone to come help. Two different associates came to assist and neither one knew the price. So, I asked to speak to the store manager. The assistant managers (assistant) came in and randomly picked the highest price on the floor and quoted me ($129.99) the, model and design were completely different. So, I proceed to ask her if I could talk to the store manager to honor the price tag that I had seen a week ago. The sales associate took offense to my request and said it didnt matter who I asked, I was still going to get the same answer she had given me.Shortly after, another lady confirmed that she was the store manager (Raquel) arrived. I explained to her the before price and asked her to honor it. She interrupted my request and said I know what you want, my associate told you the price and I am sticking to that price. I told her that my mother really liked it and to please honor the $114.99, that I had seen on the chair a week ago, it was only a $15.00 difference. With a hottie look, she responded: my name is not Rachel, it is Raquel as she pointed at the spelling on her name tag and concluded by saying take it or leave it.I am a fanatic of the Ross stores and shop there for all my house hold needs and wants (furniture, decoration & clothes) and have never been so embarrassed and humiliated by an associate or a store manager. Please make note of this unethical representative and do not shop here. The wait line to pay is also a HUGE inconvenience.
We found some good deals and a nice selection. We came at 12am, just 30 minutes before they closed. The store was a total mess, but we saw employees actively cleaning up, so maybe its their policy to only clean up just before the store closes? Id hope that they would do this more often, as the shoe aisle literally was inaccessible via shopping cart due to so many shoes on the ground.Checkout was fast at 12:30am, and surprisingly the cashier didnt seem to mind our cart full of deals and steals. Loss prevention of course is there to guard against who knows what, but the guy did a good job greeting customers including us and pretending to click on buttons on his monitor lol. I looked and it was still on the dvr log in screen. Nice try buddy lol
I like to shop in Ross for quality and affordability. I especially like the selection of socks. They could improve on the mens watches for sure. This store could work a bit on being more friendly with the customers (this is Anaheim and maybe that explains this, otherwise 5 Stars... The Walmart a few stores down has similar issue).
I had $100 worth of items in my cart... Buying birthday gifts for my best friend...BUT, THE LINE LOOKED LIKED IT MIGHT HAVE BEEN FOR A DISNEYLAND RIDE...winding its way through the designated area, then down the side aisle ALL THE WAY TO THE BACK CORNER OF THE STORE...HELL NOOOOI sadly ditched the cart. Dont know if Ill go back. I was there the other day, and I nearly did the same thing then. Got home and my clothing still had the security tags on it, too much of a hurry to pay attention to that, I guess.
This store could be better maybe they just need a new staff the cashier didnt bag my mirror I bought and they left the sensor on the jeans that were bought for my husband after calling the store and being hung up on then placed on hold for 40 min also I was told the mirror wasnt there at first glance then miraculously it appeared I disapprove of the behavior of the girl on the phone the I dont care attitude isnt appealing to customers another Ross next time for sure
Lina helps off duty employees & everyone making purchases. I was returning 1 of the 3 rugs I bought that were damaged. After the 3rd person she helped. I had to tell her I was next. She said I didnt see You. What!! Horrible Customer Service. This devilish woman acts like she was doing me a favor helping me.
Well the thing I cant stand Id the drive from the high desert to Anahiem its about 2hours in traffic. About every other day . All for my girls mom that works the dressing room so if you want to do me a favor tell her AngeL is a great guy so you should say Thanks .... Oh yeah make her work and say Chhooow baby go Raiders my team she cant stand it....

2019-09-12TJ-Maxx is similar to Ross and Marshals; all of them offer brands for less. They are like a collection outlet store. TJ-Maxx is exactly what they say: designer fashion without the designer prices. They have specialty and exotic foods and garnish. It’s a great shopping stop.

2019-10-21One of the cleaner and organized Ross I have been too. Good selection of name brand and some designer brands available. Employees are helpful if you have a question with anything. Like most Ross stores though any section you go in is going to have mixed items that do not belong in that area which can be frustrating if trying to find a particular item/size. Store gets extremely crowed and busy towards closing as well. Accepts Apple/Android Pay for mobile pay users which is a plus! I included a picture of store hours as of Fall 2019.

2019-08-11Pro: its a big store so a lot of products for men and women and tons of dressing room to accomadate at least 10 stalls for women and men (so about 20 in total)The staff manager and Loss Prevention security is always vigilante and caring when the door rings. They dont make you feel bad because sometimes they miss a tag when checking out and you as a customer didnt do anything wrong. They still double check with what you have anyways, reassuring customers all they while. And if you have item returns you are first priority in line at Register 1 you can do both returns and purchase at the same time.Con: Wow since its so big its really busy in here. Considering its a Saturday I should have expected that but its still unexpected. The line reaches the back of the store and only has maybe 3 lines open (we are excluding the return station in this otherwise it would be 4)One unisex bathroom for a store this big in comparison to the dressing rooms size is kinda noteworthy in an unflattering way. Also its not really explicit where the returns station is, maybe it changes when its busy and all stations cannot do it for better efficiency purposes (which I commend for having few a cashiers in the chaos), but if you wait in the long line youve actually done an oopsie and have to go in the back of register 1 (No you cannot cut in front of the people who are returning, its only a few people you can wait another 10 minutes). Also if your claustrophobic or wheelchair bound, this is not the best place to be at. Its only single lane when looking through items in the store. Especially if your looking for dresses. For some reason it feels overcrowded standing in that that the clothes are practically on your shoulders when sifting through. The carts barely fit through and there actually tiny so anyone with bulky wheelchairs cant go through. Conclusion: Its a given that clothes will be streamed around and put in inappropriate sections so Im not really concerned about that, its the overcrowdedness thats mostly concerning for me. I find the experience okay and I did find things that I like and the employees were courteous and respectful so thats all that matters to me.

2017-06-24This Ross is huge! And generally I like it here ok. My problem is they are always understaffed... This isnt a club, you dont have to keep a line in order to hold our interest. Also its very crowded, and lots of the clothing items get mixed around so its hard to find what you want. If they would just increase their Staffing a bit they could probably reduce both of these problems and it would be a great place to shop

2022-01-14A lot of items but not many good/useful items. Very packed store. Prices are ok. Toys are very ancient and a bit pricey. Clothing seems ok. Staff is nice. Cashiers are a bit slow and they seem stressed.

2022-04-04Very , very crowded on Sunday, only one or two registers open long lines, selection of products is better in other stores.

2021-07-19This place always of always has a line at the check out! Does not matter if its a week day, morning, night, noon, no matter, they never have enough cashiers nor registers. Its not organized and the variety of fragrances its not as good. Very rarely I can find something I really like or really need. I would rather go to TJ Max, its neater, clean, better product quality, better maintained bathrooms, more product variety and prices are the same in comparison, and most definitely: lines move faster!I do not recommend👎🏻
