So unprofessional. Honestly, no one should accept deliveries from them. Customer service doesnt care where the drivers leave your packages. Ive never left a review on anything, but thats how bad these clowns are.

I had a delivery of a vanity mirror confirmed for yesterday July 21 between 11 and 3PM. No one showed or called. When I called in they rescheduled for today 11 to 1PM. About 1:15 someone from RL called and said the driver had an emergency and they couldnt make it.. They asked for tomorrow. Since I have missed 2 days at home waiting I asked for a first AM delivery. They said they could not do that, so I canceled my order.If a delivery company misses 2 appointments why not 3?Terrible service. The store I ordered this from is just as bad if they are unable to secure a decent freight company.

Had a shipment through them ( already paid for )from Pennsylvania to California it took 18 days to arrive to California terminal since they didnt deliver the shipment and then I called California terminal Fontana to be specific and they told me they couldnt allocate the shipment I kept calling for three straight days and all they say they cant find the shipment until in the end I was able to reach the terminal manager and it was just hanging in the floor and I had to send a truck to pick it up for the sake of time since my customer was upset and I after I picked the shipment the charged me again the total shipping cost. Very unprofessional

This was the biggest JOKE of a delivery company I have ever worked with.I ordered a 250lb desk that was supposed to arrive July 8th. They called me on the 6th and said it would be delivered on the 7th from 9-5. I took the day off work and in the middle of the day they call me and tell me the delivery needs to be rescheduled to the next day. I say fine and take the next day off. Then on thee 8th in the middle of the day they called again saying the package was lost.By this point, the item is late and they begin a search. I wait AGAIN, and they call me on July 14th and we schedule for today, the 16th.The delivery men arrived at my house today with only ONE box when there should have been two and it was completely mangled. They were embarrassed to even take it out of their truck. It wasnt their fault, they were hired out by R&L to take the package to my door, but it is an absolute slap on the face by R&L to approve such an item to come to my door. I paid $800 for this desk and these people had no regard for my time or the property they were shipping. I barely got an apology and Ive lost a lot of work hours. This company is crooked. Avoid shipping with them at all costs

-Updated ReviewHorrible customer service from the Anaheim terminal. They are dishonest and could care lesss about small clients and their shipments. I have been using R&L for over ten years, but stopped using them in 2019 due to the horrible customer service from dispacth.In 2020 we opened a location in Los Angeles and started using R&L again, the service from the LA terminal was great, from dispatch to drivers.However, in April, 2021 I opene another location in Orange County that is serviced by the Anaheim terminal. On our first shipment this terminal fialed to pickup our shipment and lied about the reason why.I was never notified the pickup was canceled, they just did not show up. When I called to find out what happened they stated the driver showed up by that we had not shipnment to be picked up. This was a lie, I spent all they waiting for them and they never showed.When I informed them I was the only person at the location, and that the driver never came for the shipement, I was told that the pickup was actually cancelled because it was a box not on a pallet.I informed them I have been shipping all my shipments this way through R&L for the past ten years and it has never been an issue. I was then told it was actually the LA terminal who would not take the shipment without pallets and that is why the Anaheim location could not pickup the shipement.I proceeded to inform them that I had been shipping from my LA location via the LA terminal for the past year, with the last shipment being last week and never had a problem. They replied that actually the policey went into effect last week....Horrible service! If you do not want to handle my package just say so, but why have me wait all day and never inform me you are not going to show up, and just make up a laughable insane lies as an excuse.It pains me not to be able to use R&L just beacuse of the Anaheim terminal when all my shipments handled direclty by the LA terminal have been flawless.

Extremely poor customer service. Dispatch lady has a bad attitude and is very unprofessional. The driver was also this way. I returned my item solely off the unprofessional nature of this delivery company and will avoid any business with them in the future, especially as a logistics professional myself. With many other options, I suggest looking elsewhere. If I could give a worse review I would. Very, very badThey called me Friday (after a while waiting for the item to be shipped, which is understandable), but I was not given a hands up and was at dinner with my family when they called. Driver was VERY rude to me that I wasnt there. Instead of rescheduling, I got a call out of nowhere Today (3/19) saying it must be delivered today or tomorrow or they would start charging me storage charges. All of this could have easily been avoided with a simple rescheduling like every other company does. Not to mention most people work 8am to 5pm which is what the delivery window is. This, on top of the horrible customer service and treatment of customers is enough reason to avoid these guys.

I was set to receive a delivery from R&L Carriers on Tuesday (12/4/18) and was told to call the day of to get an exact time window. The day of expected delivery I called early to ensure delivery and receive an estimated window. I was given a time between 10:30am and 12:30pm and also told my delivery would be the first stop. Satisfied with this answer I proceeded to wait at home. As my work is not close to my home I had to request to work from home for the first half of the day from my manager and come in later. I also had my wife take my kid to daycare on her way to work which she doesnt typically do as it is out of her way.My estimated delivery window proceeded to come and go with no notice from R&L. Finally, two hours after the estimated delivery window I decided to contact the office I had called earlier in the morning to check the status. At this point I was told that my delivery would not be completed with no reason as to why. I was asked to reschedule for the next day which I was unable to accommodate. I ended up scheduling for two days later.On Thursday (12/6/18) my wife was home for the first half of the day but had an appointment later. When I rescheduled my delivery date I was told my package would arrive between 9am and 12pm which worked with my wife’s schedule. The day came and went without so much as a call from R&L. I was so fed up with the situation I didn’t even try to call again to check on status. I never received a call or notice on Thursday or Friday. It wasn’t until the following Monday that I finally received a voicemail stating I needed to reschedule.Upon calling I was not given any details of why my shipment didn’t arrive or any apology for what was now 2 missed deliveries. I was asked to reschedule for delivery the next day. When I inquired why I should actually expect the package to arrive on this day as they already missed two deliveries I was told that the driver would give me a call an hour before delivery so I could get home from work. As I mentioned previously, my work is not particularly close to my home but I was without other options so I accepted the situation.Tuesday (12/11/18) my package finally arrived, a full week after my original expected delivery. Other than the driver calling 30 minutes before delivery instead of an hour as expected the delivery went smoothly.In the end it took R&L a week and a half, 3 delivery dates, and 9 separate phone calls by me to R&L to get my package that was a 20 minute drive away. This type of service is unacceptable. The motto of a delivery company should not be third times the charm. Please improve your service R&L.

I ordered a couch and it was supposed to be delivered on the 18th. They kept calling and rescheduling. We just moved into a new place and didnt have furniture so this was very frustrating. They gave me the run around for a week! I ended up cancelling. I couldnt wait any longer.

Im expecting something from Costco. I was called Thursday to set up a time for Friday. I asked if they could deliver it in the afternoon. They said they couldnt and they would call an hour before they were to be at my house. When no body called or came I called them at 3:45 to see where they were. They told me that the item came late to there location and it missed being put on the truck. Great. They cant even call to tell me that??? So I waited all day for nothing. Now they want me to take another day off from work to do this all over? NO. I cant believe this.

Usually I’m not the type of person to leave bad reviews on a company but the experience with R & L has been a NIGHTMARE. Read all the other reviews here and I promise you that your experience will be the exact same as mine. Drivers rude, package shows up damaged, no phone call prior to drop off, 9-5 window on delivery AND my package wasn’t even the full package I ordered. Try to call the company and you’ll get ran around by everyone there. If you have a delivery set up with the company..... CANCEL IT RIGHT AWAY, thank me later.
