We had a wonderful stay at RiverPointe Hotel, Napa! The cottage is so nice, clean and comfortable.. the location is perfect for relaxation, it’s close to the river and we enjoyed our walk at the path close to it. They have great recreation facility, we got to play pingpongand swim at the heated pool and jacuzzi in the evening, so fun! In the morning, after our lovely walk, we went to Napa Wine Trolley Tour.. For us, it was a perfect vacation.. Thank you RiverPointe Hotel for making our stay wonderful & memorable! See you again nextime with the rest of our family and friends!
Never got a return call from management . I wrote several emails and no response. This was for a issue I had early 2021 in regards to the room I was given. They gave me a handicap room (which Im not) and was told they would set me up with another room because I had a 3 day reservation which never happened. Moving forward and trying to reach out to management was unsuccessful. I have not been back since and will continue to not recommend this place
The cottages have a nice deck outside to enjoy. The cottages are small but have a large feel with high ceilings , large windows. They were well equipped with silverware and dishes. There is a nice trail on the river right next to the resort. We enjoyed a game of pool in the large game room over the lobby.
We enjoyed our stay at The RiverPointe Napa Valley cabins. It was wonderful to have our own space with easy access as we parked right in front of our cabin. We loved the park like setting, pool and access to the private hot tub. Our cabin was fully equipped with a stovetop, refrigerator and dishwasher. Our queen bed was very comfortable.Plenty of dishes, silverware, pots and pans and utensils. We requested fresh towels and trash picked up which was no problem. We will be back and have friends who want to come rent a cabin next to us. Cant wait!
We had a death in the family and the hotel refused to let us reschedule or cancel our booking. Lost nearly $1000. I have tried to speak to someone multiple times but management never returns calls. Do not book here as they do not care about their guests.**editing to add that after they saw my review they said to call them. I have since left multiple messages and none of my calls have been returned
This is a great place to stay. Loved the Napa River Trail which depending where you stay is a few feet away. The kitchenette are great for a family to cook or prepare a snack for the family. The pool is clean and the private jacuzzi a nice way to unwind after a day wine tasting or outdoors fun. I recommend this gem.
Great place to stay! Good location and the rooms and staff are wonderful. Very clean, staff was very accomodating. Everything was in order. Rooms were great. The kitchen was a great addition which we really enjoyed! Highly recommend. In a good area with nature walk, barbecue area!
Just the two of us enjoyed a relaxing week at the RiverPointe Napa Valley. The park models offer amazing privacy. The units were bright with lots of windows. We used the propane grill a couple of times and spent mornings on our patio. We brought bikes so we took advantage of the River trail and pedaled into town several times. The Jacuzzis were open and super clean and easy to reserve by scheduling. All in all it was a memorable relaxing week enjoying the local food and wine.
Super cute and convenient place to stay.Pros:Location- convenient location, close to stores, restaurants and wineries.Staff- very friendly and helpfulAmenities- pool and hot tub were great to have! The walking trail was a nice option.Cons:Really poor wifi service all through the resort including in our cottageOur bathroom had ants in itOverall, we enjoyed our stay!
The private cottages were so much quieter, cozy, and fun than staying in a regular hotel room. The Napa River Trail that runs behind the property is great for quiet nature walks or bike rides. Propane BBQ areas are clean and conveniently located. The property is conveniently located only about a mile from downtown Napa. Really enjoyed our stay here!
Loved the charming cabins at RiverPointe Napa. The entire property presented well and was very clean. We were visiting with another couple and RiverPointe was able to accommodate adjacent cabins so we were able to enjoy the shared deck space with our friends. We will definitely be back!
Loved this place. Its in a convenient location - walking distance to shops and wine tastings and short drive to the larger wineries outside the city. Roomy and comfortable; everything worked great. This would be a great solution for a group of couples who want to spend a long weekend in Napa.
This is the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. We really got a chance to relax here. You can easily take a short walk and ease your mind. The vibrant colors of the tiny homes uplift your spirits also. This place is surrounded by beautiful trees and we also caught a glimpse of a deer. Wine tasting is not too far from this location.Great customer service with a smile.
I couldnt say nicer things about this place - it was affordable, especially for a week stay, was close to everything we wanted to do (wineries, downtown Napa, kayaking, hiking, the river walk, groceries nearby, the outlets), the staff was very friendly and went out of their way to help me. Laundry free on site, access to a pool and communal grills, a parking space in front of your house, the list goes on. The 1 bedroom homes are just the right size if you plan to spend half of your time here, but majority of your time out and about. Full kitchen, 1 bed/1 bath, cozy living room and a deck shared with your neighbor. 100% would go back in a heartbeat!!
The place is beautiful specially it is close to the river and has a nice walkway. The manager was not that friendly, I asked him if we could get a room at the river side. He said only owners use those units. Later saw everyone was using those units. I had to ask the front desk 2 times to use the sauna. The first time front desk forgot to take my name. The 2nd time I listed may name between 7-8pm. When I showed up at the front desk at around 7:20pm, she said sorry we are closing at 8:00pm and you can use it some other time. Finally I give up and decided not to use it at all. On Thursday my wife texted for our one time room service, they told us due to being busy and more occupancy they can not provide the service. I ended up cleaning the room myself. My wife and I asked for more towels because our daughter was planning to visit us. They dropped off 2 small towels, had to text again to get a couple bigger towels. I have stayed at other hotels and in most place the front desk has been more friendly and had a better line of communication with their guest. Overall my wife and I enjoyed the location but it would have nicer if the staff could be more helpful.
Wonderful, unique, clean, and colorful cottages! This place is a perfect place to stay especially in times of an ongoing pandemic. It was amazing to have an individual cottage that has everything you need for a great getaway. The staff were so friendly and accommodating in our calls and contact-free check-in and check-out. Amenities (pool, jacuzzi) can be reserved for private use and is covid compliant which is a great relief! Walking trails near the Napa River made for great excursions! Excellent for couples and families looking for a cute unique cottage stay near all of Napa!
Great place to stay. Peaceful and quiet. Individual units called cottages is really more like a nice single trailer unit. No sharing walls, so you can’t hear other guests above or below you. Comes with a well appointed kitchenette (stove, microwave, dishwasher and small fridge). Pots and pans and all basic kitchen utensils, plates, cups provided. Even though we only stayed for a night, this is also a good option for longer stay. There’s a pool and a hot tub/jacuzzi for guests (reservation needed).
We are so glad we chose RiverPointe for our stay in Napa! It was our first time to the region and did not know what to expect! My friends and I shared a river front cottage. The three of us easily had room to sprawl out and relax after the long drive and few glasses of wine. The check in process was fast and convenient. We were able to get reservations fro the pool and hot tub areas. We the walk along there river. I cant wait to come back and spend more time here!
Outdated unit in a trailer park. Photos on the website are misleading. Extra daily charge for parking and wifi when wifi is so slow and we had to leave to use internet somewhere else. AC was not working well and the floors were squeaky and sloped. There were bugs. We ended up staying only one night although we prepaid for 7 nights. No refund. Extremely disappointed.
Perfect spot to book for a vacation. It’s like choosing an Airbnb but you don’t have to leave the place spotless. It has a separate bed area & living area so if you are with someone who likes to get up early or stay up late, you can section the different areas. You only call house keeping when you are in need of towels or trash removed otherwise you are on your own- nice not to be disturbed! There is a Walmart right down the street if you need anything. Also a pool & jacuzzi…nothing fancy but perfect for what it is. There is also a walking trail running behind the cottages.
Quaint well maintained trailer park on the Napa River, Trails & close to Town. The trailers are nicely decorated but missing an oven & frying pan.The trailer moves frequently and feels like your on a boat at times. Ok for small families but not large. Bit tight for 2 adults & 1 teen. Beds are hard & uncomfortable. The sofa bed was difficult to pull out & collapse. It took two adults. If you want quiet walks, bike rides, poolside, glass of wine on the deck, this place is for you.Dogs are not Permitted. Such a shame since dogs are allowed on trails, DownTown & Wineries.
Well-appointed rooms with kitchenette and living space only a 22 minute walk from Napa. All the spaces have great outdoor deck areas, access to grills, sunny pool access, and free laundry. They took amazing precautions to be safe and clean during Covid, and the open air space around each room was really great.
Not necessarily dissatisfaction, but opportunity to meet commitments. Unfortunately, the laundry room only had one washer working, which is a big deal with traveling over a week. Having to schedule time at the hot tub was not effective and limited parking space was a problem as it seem 64A was in a rotation of cleaning and maintenance.
There is minimal kitchen utensils. The cooking pans are very old and missing parts and dented. Not enough bowls to even make a salad or prepare anything. Other resorts have enough to do light cooking. This does not. But staff very nice, place overall is clean and quiet. Location is near enough to walk to restaurants and shopping.
The check in was after dark and we had a very hard time finding the cabin and the there was not enough light to find the front door. only one of the two burner stove worked. Every time we opened the shelve for the pots on the top shelf the pot on the bottom shelf fell on the floor. The bed mattress was so lumpy made it hard to sleep. The cabinets are in need of refusing and the coffee table looks like it came from the thrift store with the paint still peeling off. However the towels were the softness I have ever felt and the laundry was fantastic and fast. They did off to come fix the stove when I reported it, but by them we were finished cooking were I needed two burners. We only has roll of toilet paper when we got in, but they brought us another two as soon as we call for more. Very disappointed that the spa wasnt open however the pool was open. Then they charged my credit card without explanation or receipt. $136!! It is a very cute cabin on wheels that rocks when you walk in it. There was no TV listing of channels nor a map of the grounds. It took some time to get connected to the wifi.
Absolutely love it! The place is located in a private and peaceful area everything was immaculate my husband said we’ll no longer stay at a hotel when we go to Napa this is gonna be the place we stay going forward….we’re definitely recommending it to all our friends and family.
The pool was nice and mostly quiet, had to call ahead to reserve due to covid restrictions but was worth it. Location was central but still a bit of a ways from either town or wineries without a car. Wouldve been nice to have been on the river- we felt very packed into all the other cabins- or to have some pillows or blankets provided. Otherwise a very nice little stay!
We rented 4 units to celebrate a birthday with a family reunion. The RiverPointe is an undiscovered gem in Napa. We found the untits to be impeccably clean, outfitted with great beds, sheets and efficiency kitchens. We had 7 kids under the age of 7, who had a blast scootering around the property, playing in the pool. The customer service of the staff and the Manager James Leveridge, was outstanding. One of our family members from ST Helena immediately booked a corporate event after visiting us. Highly recommend RiverPointe !
When we got to our unit, both the front door and the door to the dishwasher were sealed. All of the dishes and items we would use were in the dishwasher and had been cleaned. The checkout is no contact now. You just leave your keys in the unit and text the front desk when you leave. They even clean all of the dishes, etc. for you now. It was a relief to know that it was clean when we got there and will be clean for the next person. I felt safe staying at RiverPointe.
All units are clean. Some look old....the bathrooms really show it. !970s faucets and sinks...but in good working order. Just not what youd expect from a Grand Pacific resort. They do not offer their one-bedroom for trade; instead they just offer their studio and then try to get you to pay $25/night for one bedroom. Many of us are trading from RCI Gold Crown Resorts with one bedroom ownership and feel ripped off coming here. I had to wash all dishes by hand when we arrived, as the food was caked on after the dishwasher cycle. We never got maid service: the first time we called, we were told they need 24 hour notice; the second time we told them we would be out until 2 PM and requested they do it some time before we returned, and the maid never showed up. We had to move rooms because our heater did not work. Front office lady acted put off when we asked to unlock the barbeque. One person was awesome: Herbert was polite, helped us move, helped us set up,and even brought us a bottle of wine for our trouble.
We enjoyed our stay here. Everyone we dealt with was extremely helpful. It is in close proximity to downtown (although, not really walking-distance friendly). You are close to everything, but still feels secluded once in the park. Theres a nice walking trail along the river. Would be a great place for families. It was nice to have the kitchen for lazy mornings and snacking. We would stay here again.
Frist time staying here, so I was a little worried about what I would find when I got here!!! Once we got to River Pointe all that worry was gone. The place is beautiful, and the unit we stayed in was also very beautiful, clean, very well equipped for all your personal and business needs. Thank you for such a wonderful two night stay. I will recommend that if you have not been to River Pointe, Napa. And those out of town visitors check it out, you wont be disappointed. I know I wasnt.
Cute and clean, the pool is nice and there are some good amenities in the clubhouse such as pool table and movie rental. I would not want to spend an extended period of time here, the rooms are renovated trailers, but it was a great place to do some sightseeing nearby. I went in the spring, before grape season, once the wine season starts I’m sure it will be much more exciting!
I LOVE this place and have been coming at least yearly for the last 15 years. The grounds are well kept and beautiful and the staff are some of the friendliest and most helpful anywhere!! The little houses are plenty of space and the bed is comfy. Location is perfect. Near downtown, Silverado trail, Napa River and so much more. This has become a lil home away from home.
A great spot during these troubling times. You can register and move around while easily socially distancing, because these are separate, private residences. The rivers beautiful, w/a lovely walk, lots of birds, and relatively clear at night for skywatching. Have visited three times already and we have reservations for a fourth!
Its not a 5 start resort but certainly a reasonably priced comfortable place with full kitchen. Its right across the street from a Walmart. If you forgot it they have it there. We stayed in the bigger one, I think would be tough for 4 adults. Nice for 2 adults and 2 kids.
The resort is located to downtown NAPA which is only about a 5 min drive. I would ONLY recommend this resort to COUPLES even though there is a living room area with a sofa bed (we had guests sleeping in the living room). There is ONLY one bathroom and if you have guests in the living room then they will have to go THROUGH the Bedroom to get access to the bathroom (Lack of privacy). Also, there arent any blinds/curtains on the windows at the top of cottage so if you are a light sleeper or like to sleep in past 6am then you wont have a good sleep because as soon as the sun comes up the whole living room is blasted with sunshine. I would only return for a stay at this place if my husband and I were to spend time in downtown Napa. The place was kept very clean and having a kitchen was nice BUT as previously mentioned I think these units are great for a COUPLE ONLY.
Always a pleasure to stay here! My first opportunity to use a handicap accessible cottage. I was so very impressed! From wheel chair lift to having a clear path throughout the rooms, padded bench in shower and adequate room in BR to transfer easily, adequate room under counters in BR and Kitchen, it was ideal! I especially like the rolling kitchen cabinet. The whole cottage was very W/C friendly! The beds are tall so be sure to ask for a step stool in advance or at check in.
Quiet, beautiful natural surrounds & great location for seeing local sights. Good swimming pool, full kitchen, nice towels & bedding. Good housekeeping, too. However, we had a problem with our bed which they tried to fix, but did not succeed. My husband ended up sleeping on the couch because his side was so uncomfortable. Other small broken things (we reported) were never fixed.
Adorable cozy one bedroom “home” with all necessary amenities! This is my third time staying at the resort…the space is very relaxing and comfortable. It even has an outdoor patio with table and son umbrella… And there was a grueling courtyard just a few steps away! Also included is a pool and hot tub… Especially with the other prices of places to stay in the area you will greatly appreciate your stay here!
I LOVED my stay. I even wanted to stay one additional night, but could not find anyone to watch my dog back home for an additional night. Wish they allowed dogs. Wonderful grounds, very manicured, heated pool was amazing. Loved the trail along the Napa River. Gas BBQs available, hot tubs... Very peaceful. Friendly employees
Awesome location next to Napa river trail and 5 mins to Napa CIA & downtown. Especially astonished by their speedy response of front desk and their contact-less services. Cottage is lovely, fully disinfected and sealed until we check-in. Pool is also clean and well-controlled. A great choice for a weekend getaway during pademic.
Booked this hotel for a brief stay on Super Bowl weekend. I booked it because of the tiny house feel of the place. The rooms are well appointed with just about everything you would need, refrigerator, kitchen etc. There is also a pool and hot tub on the property. However there were quite a few things about the room that were annoying. First, every step would cause the whole place to shake. Quite a few times when my wife was walking I thought we were having an earthquake and she only weighs 130lbs. Second there must have been a hole somewhere because we kept getting flies in the room. We must have killed 4 or 5 flies and we only stayed one night. Third the bathroom sink is VERY low. It seems like its only about 2 feet from the floor. Finally the TV was SD and had GARBAGE picture quality. It was pretty much unwatchable.Dont know if I would stay here again.
We spent 4 days hear and enjoyed every minute of it. We had 2 units right next to each other with a deck in between. Worked out great! My wife and I in one unite, the grand kids and parents in the other just 10 feet away! Nice and quite and simply laid out grounds. Very close to a path next to the river. Not far at all from restaurants and town of Napa. Would stay there again next time we are in the area. Highly recommended.
Check in was easy, housekeeping is only upon request, we didn’t use any outdoor amenities. Shared patios still provide enough space for you and your “neighbor”. We had a morning activity day of checkout and they were willing to let us push back our checkout time. Would absolutely stay here again!
This was a bait and switch. WAY WAY OVER PRICED. To be in the ghetto part of Napa CA. I will never return. Place is ran down!! I will tell all my family and friends not to go here. I could of stayed at the Embassy Suite a mile away for $170 a night.🤔 GOOD LUCK ON STAYING IN BUSSNISS.
THe 1st unit we were put in had a broken A/C. Had to pack up and move next door on day 3.That unit had a broken and leaky kitchen sink faucet. Also, the sink disposal leaked and needed a bucket under the sink to catch the dripping water. Toilet did not flush properly-always required 2-3 flushes. Both units had ants.
It was a decent stay. The decor was dated, but that wouldnt keep me from recommending it. The issue I have is with a $15 (+taxes) daily activity fee. Why am I paying a maintenance fee on my home resort and an exchange fee to book Riverpointe AND I have to pay an activity fee, plus tax on an activity fee? For what, soda and snack Thursdays? Please...keep your nightly activities and dont charge me an additional fee.It is not for maintaining your pools, etc. Thats maintenance fee costs. Owners shouldnt have to pay an additional fee. If I add my annual maintenance fee, the exchange fee, and this activity fee, I could book a stay at many higher end hotels in the area. Thats what we will do next year. At least, if the hotel charges me a fee, its a hotel and they arent receiving hundreds of dollars annually from their owners for maintenance.
Yes it is basically a trailer park, Make sure you dont get one of the studio rooms, since it is just half a trailer. The studio room is a bed, 2 feet of floor to the kitchen and a bathroom. No room to unpack if you have 2 large suitcases and more. We were changed to a larger room. The place seems to be maintained well, but I would say it is managed like a trailer park. The service is not great.Granted we went to Napa Valley, but we dont drink wine. This means that everything and anything this resort is about is useless. That is all they talk about is wine!We stayed there to travel to see nature, scenery and wildlife...I would never stay there again.
Very unique and secluded setting. Little mobile homes converted to nice little cabins. Private. Quiet. Good staff. Huge grounds. Nice pool. Hot tub has strongest jets Ive ever experienced. They actually toss you about...you are unable to sip your wine (in a plastic cup of course) without spilling unless you move away from the Jets (about 10 jets or so).Right on the Napa River and Napa River hiking trail...several acres property...Clubhouse buffet breakfast on Monday, Thursday Margarita nite, etc each day.Perfect for us...you would never guess town is just beyond the tree filled property...we saw deer on our trail walk.Rlw
Nice little property with a cool concept for the rooms. Grounds were nice as well as the common area. Front desk staff was great and same with the gentleman who hosted Mimosa Hour. However, many of the cottages lacked proper maintenance and appeared run down. We had to switch cottages after the first hour due to broken items in our first cottage. In addition, I was at the hot tub one evening with multiple other guests and the employee who came around to close the hot tub was incredibly rude, I understand you cant have people using the hot tub past a certain hour, but he lacked any respect and courtesy towards me and the other guests. Definitely a sour way to end my stay. Overall, could use some upgrades and improved management but is a great concept with an even better price. Right next to Walmart as well.
This is a nice and clean place, the staff is a bit strange in the way they great and talk to guests. The units have an ok kitchen, the number of chairs around the kitchen and deck table is not matching the number of beds in the unit so breakfast/lunch/dinner seating has to be creative. WiFi as many others have mentioned is not working. The laundry room is great, new washers and dryers. All in all its a nice place that I would come back to.
Very cozy, clean, and affordable option if you plan to stay in Napa. My boyfriend and I stayed for one night. Very convenient location to downtown Napa or Oxbow market. They also have different activities each day. We happened to stay the night when they had a (free) port wine tasting. We enjoyed our free tasting and meeting some other guests. If we were to come back, we would probably choose this place again. We booked on Airbnb.
Its a very low key place but great for families or big parties since the units have kitchens and connecting patios. There was a mix up with our rooms when we arrived but the management not only gave us a free bottle of wine but also a studio unit to make up for it. Definitely not cheap, but cheaper than some of the alternatives in this area.
A weekend in Napa is always a wonderful treat, but finding this resort on the river may have been one of our luckiest accomplishments yet (and credit for that goes to my bff!) She booked a couple nights for us and our boyfriends to celebrate our birthdays in late September.Tyree and Yolando helped check in our group of 4 upon arrival. They were awesome!! We were showed to our private trailer: It was clean, spacious, adorable, and affordable! We cooked chicken and salmon on the community bbq then drank wine together while playing card games inside before bed. It was absolutely perfect! The next couple of days we watched the PGA tournament live at Silverado Resort, which is very nearby. We walked the River path in the mornings by our room and it was a beautiful way to start our days!!Theres plenty of safe parking and privacy here and we will definitely book another stay next time we spend the night in nearby Napa.
The cottages are trailers, still on the wheels. We could feel the whole place sway when we were just walking around. They are very small. Probably fine for 2 but with 3 adults it was very crowded. We were also assessed a $15/day resort fee for what Im not sure. The pool was closed and I didnt see any other amenities that would rate a daily fee. There were some wine tastings in the evening but that doesnt qualify as a chargable deal for me.
This is a trailer court, dressed up. The room was tiny but pleasantly decorated and very clean. The bathroom is basic and I could hardly move in the tiny shower stall. Someone in housekeeping is forced to shape some of the towels and washcloths into grotesque animal shapes and put eyes and ears and flowers into them. The outside is a bit shabby in places. Its next to the river, which has a pleasant walking trail. Theres a grand looking clubhouse and pool and spa and other amenities we had no use for. They were pleasant and professional but we got an instant downgrade because of some plumbing problems and ended up with a voucher for future stays that I doubt Ill use. Still trying to get a spurious $11.00 charge removed. I guess its a good price for Napa; very working class (like me) in a working class neighborhood, whereas most of the area lodging choices are decidedly not.
Very disappointed, Very!!! Drove 2 hours just to find out that the pool is by reservation only, why people?? Why didn’t you tell me when I made a reservation? It doesn’t say anywhere that you have to have a reservation to go to the pool, and it is all booked, you have to be put on a waiting list , and if you get it it’s once a day for an hour and a half.... I understand you take pre cations because of COVID, but you have to let ppl know before they book, I booked 2 nights and ended up leaving after one night because it was 101 degrees and we couldn’t use a pool, they were able to squeeze us in once and that was it, I waisted my time, money.. very unprofessional, the only plus was a guy who was working at the pool Marco, was very helpful and Kept apologizing that he couldn’t give us more time at the pool... Waisted $600 for an hour and half pool time... that was it!!! Horrible, not coming back....
Friendly staff, clean units, location beside Napa River and not far from downtown. Parking is $15 daily and in the driveway at the unit. Glad we rented a car because theres not shopping that close by. We exchanged with Interval for a week, very economical for Napa. Twice a week mini-cleaning and linen changes at no extra charge. Happy to leave a tip in the provided envelope for the housekeeper. The units phone was not working, so we were told to use our cell phone to contact the desk. Since our call was the same as any outside call, we didnt always get someone at night. Walked to clubhouse and staff always helpful. Coffee and a vending machine in the clubhouse, game room upstairs that we didnt use. Also a computer, but so slow I decided to print boarding passes at the airport. Had some social activities with food or wine. No store or restaurant on site. Activities seem to be scaled to the desires of the guests. Platypus wine tours, highly recommended by many, picks up at the resort for a full day tour. Pool looked nice. Hot tub is in a fenced in area and not very inviting. Coin laundry is in a sort of maintenance building - 3 stacked washers and dryers. Equipment looked new, but it was not in an attractive area. Units are mobile homes so we had some problems with being level. Water that missed the coffee pot ran downhill when spilled on the counter and quickly ended up in the hall headed for the bedroom. Bathroom was very nice. Liked the black makeup washcloth. Sleeper sofa was said to be comfortable. Pocket doors separated bedroom and living area for sleeping privacy. Each space closed off with bathroom accessible by both. A lot of storage built in, all kitchen utensils, dishes, pots were good, and there was enough. There is a dishwasher, hooray! Cooktop was gas, but it heated very slowly even on the highest setting. Hot water in kitchen and bath was almost immediate - that was great. Pretty flowers around some of the units. I didnt miss the oven because when we bought groceries we purposely bought things we could make on the stovetop or in the microwave. Staff was always helpful and kind to us. Grocery stores and drug stores were within driving distance. Saw couples sitting outside in common areas with grills, and heard some went out to dinner together after meeting at some of the social activities at the resort. Its a sort of rustic, small town vibe, very low key, no one too excited, quiet at night, and calm overall. Overall, we had a nice stay and felt safe. Room was comfortable. Napa River walk was interesting. Theres an asphalt path, and the river in September was maybe 20 feet below the bank with a sharp dropoff. It was a pretty walk, but you couldnt always see the river as you walked. Apparently it floods during the rainy season and some of the mobile homes in the resort are moved to higher ground until the dry season returns. Lots of people were walking, running, pushing strollers in the early evening. Very pleasant. On the back road, the units back up to a private property with a rooster who crows in the morning and evening. It was not really a problem once we got over the initial surprise. We enjoyed eating breakfast and dinner on the deck even with Mr. Roosters accompaniment. Like I said, a little rustic, but a pleasant stay.
Cute accommodations, nearby walking trail along the river makes for an inviting walk at the end of your day. The grounds and facilities are clean and well kept, the staff are inviting - in that they are very responsive to requests and needs, without delay. More can be done with respect to paking, some suites have easy parking space while others are ambiguous - on site recreation is about average, pool table, ping pong, pool and spa. A plus given the layout. Signage at entrance desperately in need of relocation - you can easy miss the entrance, especially in the daytime when the vegetation that mask the sign causes the neighboring entities to blend in.
Never was mentioned during check in time that there will be no cleaning service unless you stay longer than one week. This shouldve been mentioned so guess could have a realistic expectations.I had to call and wonder about trash removal 3 days into my stay and was made aware about cleaning policy! Upset and annoyed is barely described my feeling at that moment.
I LOVE these little places! They offer the best Bedding usually found in the fine hotels. Love the pool and the Spas are awesome as well. The privacy is great and its just like having your own little home. It is nothing like a Trailer Park.I bring my bike and ride the trails in the back along the River and its so pretty I often see people in kyaks having a great time as well.
Very nice place to stay in Napa. Central to everything. The room a clean and well maintained. The facilities excellent. The people are friendly. The surroundings are great it is very quiet and calm. Frist time in such type of logging and I will do it again .I recommend the place.
Unit was not leveled or anchored properly. Phone did not work. Internet was not working with my laptop. We left one day early and were told that we would get a receipt emailed to us and would not be charged the resort fee for the final day. Credit card was charged for all seven days and no receipt emailed. Seems like different people at the resort will tell you anything just to pacify you. Very unsatisfactory experience.
Fully equipped cozy cottages, with independent parking spaces, a fridge, and an adequate kitchenette. Right next to a small river with direct access to a path that runs along it. It is only one mile from downtown Napa and the wine train. You can easily walk to them or do a five minute drive to usually ample parking. There is a Walmart practically across the street for any last minute amenities. The staff is friendly, helpful and professional. They have a a weekly house keeping schedule instead of daily as they do in normal hotels. They have a pool and a hot tub. Although the hot tub could use some attention (vacuuming and skimming). I would recommend staying here for a budget conscious small party.
Overall:This place is cute and fun to stay at. I would recommend this to families and group of people. It is also perfect for a couple getaway. People stated the restroom was low, which it is. However, it is manageable and isnt as low as you may think it is.Ambience:They basically have small trailer homes line up next to each other. You can actually rent out 2 trailers next to each other. They have connecting patio area. Each trailer has a living room, which has a couch bed and a full kitchen. There is one other room, which is the master bed. The restroom is separated. The place is very cozy and feels like you are at home. When you are inside, you wont even feel like you are in a trailer.Noise:When we were staying over, we had all the windows and door closed. Did not hear any noise from our neighbors. We were also moderately noisy and did not have anyone complained about us. The walls seem to do well at reducing noise.Amenities:They have free coffee and popcorn on the right side of the lobby. The lobby also have a large vending machine. On the left side of the lobby, you have a gym, which only has cardio machines. They do not have weights. They do have lockers. There is also a sauna and restroom. On the top floor there is a recreational room. It is very large upstair. They have a pool table, and foosball. There is also a swimming pool and hot tub outside.Parking:Each trailer gets one parking. There are parking along the lobby side building and in the front area. They have plenty of parking. Just make sure you ask for a parking permit if you have more than 1 car.
Great community set right on the Napa River with a walking trail. 1 block from the Silverado Trail Hiway.Short drive to downtown Napa and other amenities. These are cute as a bug manufactured housing units all brightly painted and truly well cared for. Beautiful grounds with pool, hot tub and club house. BBQ grills very near by your unit. Standard interiors but lots of towels and good linens.Park your car right in front of your unit.We will stay there again.
Just not good. Finishes in the units are dated and old. Every time someone walks from one end of the unit to the next, the whole unit shakes and makes it feel like the ground is shaking. Air vents were blocked and covered with dust. Outdoor tables are old and need to be replaced. Whoever thought it was a good idea to put miniature mobile homes in place of a proper hotel? Even parking was inadequate; a rusted trailer hitch mounted on the front of the unit was waiting to crash into your grill if you parked too close. This meant you had to park with the back of your car nearly into the street. This place is a no, no!
Trailer Park and not a good one at that. I am not sure how they took the pictures of the units. Units do not look like the pictures on-line. They did not have our reservation even though we made it 6 months in advance and received a confirmation email. Not the friendliest check-in we have had. Wi-Fi is available if you want to log-in every 5 minutes. Unit is at least clean though not very big. Amenities are hard to locate. And the laundry room closes at 9 pm. Really? After out site seeing, you cant come back and get the laundry done? We will NOT be recommending this trailer park.
Our family likes RiverPointe, we have been there once and will be there next week and we are looking forward to the trip. Id like to clear up a few issues that seem to be popping up.The resort is on the river, literally many of the residences can see water on one side of the river. The Napa River is beautiful and we have seen heron, wild tangly foliage, flowers and towering trees on our walks by the water. Rivers flood and the trailers are meant to be pulled to safety should this happen. There is a reason for not building adorable tiny cottages. It is not a trailer park in the negative sense. The resort is clean, landscaped, and full of families and couples, hedges, flowers, bbqs, and benches. There are no meth labs, rats, broken down cars, drunken brawls or random people hanging about. There is no litter. All of the guest cottages are painted, and decorated to look like cottages, they have roofs, decks, are painted pleasant colors and very clean. Here in Colorado many of our resorts are on the rivers and we often stay in bungalow type places that are not on permanent foundations. We find RiverPointe to be more a family camp not a resort and not a hotel. I dont expect maid service or particularly nice toiletries. Im happy to trade that for a very quiet pool and grass and paths that the kids can play in. Think of the camp at Dirty Dancing, pleasant but not opulent. Here are the good things about the resort:1. Full kitchen, great if you have kids and want to eat breakfast at home before leaving for a days activities. Occasionally well even do dinner on the deck and drink the wine we have purchased that day.2. We have our own bedroom, kids are on the pull out sofa. When our kids are older we plan on getting them their own studio and getting some real privacy.3. Centrally located, the resort is very convenient to get anywhere in wine country.4. Very reasonably priced as a timeshare, not sure how much the regular rates are.I havent done their wine tasting and am not likely to. The resort is great for a young family, 2+ family get togethers, road trips, fun couples weekend. I would NOT recommend the resort for a luxury honeymoon, opulent Napa wine tasting tour with your boss, or people from Texas.
Location! Location! Location! Its my second stay and great place to hub for a Napa wine and food tasting week. The little house are fully equipped and convenient to everything. Roll out of bed and walk or run the Napa River path. Forgot something, Walmart is virtually across the street. Fine dining is 5-minutes away at COPIA. Breakfast at the Buttercream, wine tasting on the premise, Sauna, exercise, and a great pool. The staff is most helpful. Discovered the intimate movie room with the big screen and comfy chairs. The city of Napa is your gateway to the entire region and an awesome place for unique fashion as well as wineLooking forward to next year!Thx River Point
Yosemite in Napa! These quaint units in a rustic setting reminds me of being in Yosemite! I love the central location, the quaint units (1 bd mobile homes), and their customer service was excellent! Napa is so beautiful and this resort is in a central location. We just loved it and Napa. We will be back next year!
Leave Your Electronic Devices at HomeThis is the fourth time weve stayed here, so they must be doing something right. We love the living space and the proximity to the trail. The kitchen has everything we need to make great dinners with the local produce we pick up. There are wine tastings from local vineyards which often include great information.Because we live so close to Napa and go for a week each year, we bring along our laptops with the hopes of catching up on all our social media sites and making a Skype call or two and reading eBooks. While RiverPointe says that the wifi is included in the daily resort fee, they then require you to REPEATEDLY sign in through AdSpots. And then, the internet was so slow, our calls and websites were REPEATEDLY dropped. They said we would have to sign in every 20 minutes, it was more like 5, and in addition, every 15 minutes or so, the whole thing would drop. If they are going to charge for internet as part of the resort fee, guest shouldnt be subjected to these annoying ads. Too bad that colored our experience. If this had been the first time we stayed at RiverPointe, we might not make it back again. Instead, we will remember to bring paperbacks to keep us entertained next time.
I wish I could give this zero stars. We arrived and got settled in for the night only to find bed bugs all over our bed sheets, pillow, and the bed post. We saw six total! And it was almost midnight when we discovered them and we had already been sitting on the bed watching tv for an hour. We had to find another hotel for the night. Avoid this place at all costs!

2022-07-02We love coming to RiverPointe Napa. Weve made it into an annual thing. The cottages are perfect which the right amount of amenities, parking is convenient, and theres lots to do at the resort and nearby area. Our group loved using the Pool, Recreation room and the ping pong table. We took the kids on a nature walk along the Napa river that runs along the resort with their own path and the kids had a blast. We had a one bedroom suite which was perfect for a family of four. The rooms have just what you need (kitchen, TVs, pull out couch, chair, small table, dishes, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, AC & fans). Each cottage also has a common shared patio with the guest next door. We went in a group so our common patio area was used well. Overall, we really enjoyed our time here and the staff were so FRIENDLY. Staff always made us feel welcome, Thank You RiverPointe.

2022-01-20This was the perfect place to use as a home base during our Napa trip! its definitely tiny home style living, but is equipped with EVERYTHING you need to be comfortable for your stay. We were two friends and split up between the bedroom and the comfy sofa in the living room. I dont think this would be large enough for more than 3 adults or a family with older children. We loved the hot tub and pool, walking the trail adjacent to the parking lot, and being so close to downtown.

2022-03-17I love this place. Its quiet, by the river, close to downtown and easy to get in and out of. The cabins are like Tiny Houses and have more privacy than other lodging. The cabins are clean and safe. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Over all a great place to stay.

2022-06-07A super charming community filled with mature shading trees. It was very quiet with a nice walking trail along a river. Free laundry facilities. The staff is very courteous and helpful. The units are one bedroom with a pull-out sofa sleeper. They have a full kitchen and a small dinette. So about 4 people would be the maximum capacity. There was two TVs so that was super convenient. One in the bedroom and one in the living area. It is homier than a typical hotel. Each unit has a patio (some are private, but some share with the cabin next door). The location is great. It is close to a Walmart if you need supplies and not far from downtown Napa. The only thing I would ask them to do is update the bathrooms...very short vanities and no functional storage for toiletries and towels.

2022-07-03My family has a studio and a one bedroom. The rooms could use an update, but were adequate for relaxation. The location was peaceful and there is a great walking path along the Napa River where deer and birds may be seen. The front desk and housekeeping were very nice and met our needs when we asked for more towels and supplies. This is a great location for accessing Yountville, Sonoma and other wine country places. It was just a few min away from downtown Napa by car.

2021-12-19We spent a great week in Napa and stayed here. The rooms are actually small houses of which Ive always to try. They were very compact and comfortable. A kitchenette was in the room and had a microwave, a coffee maker, and a hot water pot. Dishes and utensils provided. There is a pool with a temp of 80 degrees as well a hot spas. A bit nippy as the low was 37 and the all time was 51. Id definitely use this place again as it seemed that we were always 12 to 15 minutes away from our destinations.

2022-06-09Check-In was smooth! The man who checked me in was very kind, professional, and patient. I enjoyed the quiet area and the coziness of my studio; however, the shower is extremely small. If I would have known, I would have stuck with the 1 bedroom.... Anyways, I will definity be back

2022-01-31We have stayed at the Riverpointe Resort in Napa twice before and continue to LOVE IT!! You will not find a better location for access to downtown Napa and it is central to Napa Valley Wineries. The staff is execeptional... very well trained, eager to please and responsive. The Trailer Park homes are like little cottages - private and quaint. Meticulously clean and well maintained. I think you can tell how good an accommodation is by how they respond and handle an issue. During our most recent stay, we arrived late (our fault) and around 10pm after the main office closed, discovered a problematic slow/plugged toilet. We tried to self plunge, but there was a serious issue. We called 24 hour after hours HELO and a maintenance person was there in less than 15 minutes. He could fix the issue (we found out later the toilet had to be replaced), but he put us in another temporary unit for that night, and the next day we had the option to move again if we wanted into another unit. We received numerous apologies from management, and a very kind note of apology and gift bottle of wine one night upon our return to our unit. This is a fabulous place to stay operated by very kind folks!!
