We recently hired Ricos to install our window coverings at our brand new self storage facility in Oakley. We were referred to Ricos by our interior designer, and were so happy we took their advice. Despite being a few hours away from Ricos home office (were based in Oakley), Ricos happily made the trek to our facility. They helped us choose window coverings that perfectly meet our needs. We had high expectations going into this, and Ricos managed to exceed our highest expectations. We are so happy and literally in love with our new window coverings. Throughout the entire process, Ricos communicated with us clearly and met their schedule. At Cypress Self Storage, our office is the cornerstone of our facility. We only want the highest quality and best aesthetic, and Ricos delivered. Thank you to the entire team at Ricos windows!

We used Ricos Window Coverings & Films to replace all of the blinds in our office. Our representative Rafael was very prompt and professional. He asked us the right questions and explained their product very well. When it came time to install our blinds, the installers were prompt, professional, and cleaned up after themselves. We were doing a small remodel on our office and come to find out, the general contractor used Ricos for some window film we put up in the office as well. I would highly recommend Ricos for anyone looking for a truly professional company.

Definitely a five star family owned business! The professionalism of the staff is over the top! And, Rafael, who did the measuring for the 3M Scotchgard film and shutters were spot on! Important to note, the installers were clean and efficient; and even better and called within 20 minutes of their arrival!

First off, id like to apologize. Im sincerely sorry for giving your business the rating i did. Because I dont know anything about what your company does. I mustve rated your business that uncalled for rating by mistake. I hope you can accept my apologies. However, the fact youd take the time on a holiday to stress what customer satisfaction means to your business. Is highly respected and if i ever need any type of needs in regards to your company. The UV light reduction product was applied today w immediately visible reduction in the glare from sunlight. This experience was superior because the sales representative explained the product and process clearly. The two young men who came into my condo were professional, courteous and meticulous in their working method...no mess!

Terrible customer service.Rico installed hunter douglas blinds for us in 2017. It has taken a year and a half for the product to break. Luckily hunter douglas has a limited lifetime warranty so the repairs are free.I called Rico and the first person explains to me that it is $200 for their truck/installer to pickup the blinds and for them to handle the warranty claim. Or it is $100 for me to drop off the item and them to handle it. I asked for an explanation of the charges since that seemed pretty steep for a warrantied repair and the $100 difference for the installer to pick up the blinds seemed ridiculous - it takes two seconds to unsnap the blinds from their clips so $100 difference seemed extreme. The first person couldnt give me a breakdown so they transferred me to the office manager.I told the office manager it seemed like there is no way their labor cost could be $200 to pick up the blinds and send them to hunter douglas. She listed several - reasons - for the charges oh we have to pay for the gas for the truck, and we have to file the paperwork for the warranty, etc.Ok, seems a bit steep to me, I thought this was supposed to be a good product. $200 of labor really? How many hours of labor do they actually spend processing a warranty claim. She got very argumentative with me on the phone. Exact quote: what are you a litigator? We dont need to break this down for you. And then she told me she didnt feel like she should help me. I couldnt believe it. Just terrible respect for a customer and I had even recommended them to several of my neighbors. I hope they didnt take my recommendation. I was blown away by the disrespect I was shown by the office manager.UPDATE: 3 Blind Brothers were able to handle the warranty repair, FREE of charge, with about 5 minutes of labor, and staff was not so disrespectful.UPDATE #2 (Responding to Owner): This is not at all an ad for the above. It is a true statement that the company above fixed the problem without any charge to me. I suggest you figure out how to get reimbursed by the Hunter Douglas for warranty repairs instead of charging your clients an absurd fee. $200 in gas and labor to drive to Sacramento from Rancho and a 5 minute repair. Of course I am going to ask your office manager to explain the fee to me, but their response of what are you a litigator? is what earned this review.

We had requested a bid from one of their sales rep, who came out, helped us all through with getting the proposal information, and they sent us that. We hit an internal snag, where we were only able to move forward with part of the project, not the whole project. We asked for an updated proposal so we can pay the upfront fee and got no response. Over a week goes by, and we finally get a hold of someone, and our sales rep changed careers.We asked for someone else who could help us, and left a message. No response. We emailed them and called them again, left a message, no response. We were ready to move forward and ask for work to get completed but the lack of even an acknowledgement was just too much. Its been two weeks with zero explanation or even acknowledgement.It shouldnt be hard to give a company money.

We had Glen out to measure for office blinds at the end of May. Bid in early June. Delivery in July, but only one fit. Now at the end of August, we still do not have a date set to complete the installation of the remaining blinds. 3 months is too long. The job is complete now 9/20/18.
